For the third year in a row, the “He Gets Us” television advertising campaign brought Jesus to center stage during the biggest television event of the year—the Super Bowl. While the game itself delivered its usual dose of thrilling plays and million-dollar commercials, this campaign’s ads always stand out for their faith-centered message. At a time when the world is saturated with corporate branding and consumerism, this year’s 60-second spot reminded millions of viewers about something far more enduring: the life and message of Jesus Christ.
The ad aired during the first half of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, exploring “how Jesus redefined true greatness and what it might mean for us,” as reported by USA Today. With Super Bowl ad slots costing between $7 million and $8 million for just 30 seconds, the investment made by “He Gets Us” is both bold and intentional. But isn’t that the point? After Ultimatum: Hamas Says it Will Resume Deal, Release 3 Israeli Hostages on Saturday
|

After repeated threats by the U.S. and Israel, Hamas declared its decision to continue the hostage release deal in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners on Thursday afternoon.
"The talks were characterized by a positive spirit, and the mediating brothers in Egypt and Qatar confirmed that they would follow up on all of this to remove obstacles and close gaps."
"Accordingly, Hamas confirms its continued position to implement the agreement in accordance with what was signed, including the exchange of prisoners according to the specified timetable," the statement said.
There is still come uncertainty regarding how President Trump will react, even if Hamas does release the three scheduled hostages on Saturday.
In his ultimatum on Tuesday, Trump said Hamas should release all the hostages by noon on Saturday. For his part, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had threatened "intensive" fighting would resume unless Hamas "return our hostages by Saturday noon." (AllIsrael.com) Read more here.

Israel is Likely to Attack Iranian Nuclear Facilities Within the Next 6 Months, US Intel Estimates

US estimates Israeli strikes without direct US assistance can't destroy nuclear program
Israel is considering carrying out “significant” strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, possibly even within the coming six months, according to two separate reports by major U.S. newspapers on Wednesday.
The new Trump administration had so far signaled its willingness to negotiate over a new nuclear deal before drawing on the military option.
However, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei several days ago seemed to reject the notion that negotiations are possible, saying it would be “not smart, wise, or honorable,” to talk about the issue with the U.S.
“After Khamenei’s remarks where he cast doubt on negotiations with the U.S., the American government is sending a message to Iran’s regime tonight with two articles in major newspapers disclosing how Israel is readying for a strike on [Iran’s] nuclear program in 2025,” commented Jason Brodsky, policy director for United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI). Despairing Gazans Plead to Leave, for Borders to Open
|

“This morning I woke up to a WhatsApp message on my phone which said, “Make Gaza great again, what a great idea!” Now that was not from a MAGA farmer in Alabama, it was from my friend in Gaza who’s currently in Gaza city,” said commentator and author of “Israelophobia," Jake Wallis Simons.
In an interview on Britain’s Talk TV, he said that he has been told many Gazans are in favor of Trump’s plans.
Wallis Simons shared some of his conversation with his friend in Gaza, saying, “I spoke to him on the phone and he said that he and everybody he knows are fully behind Trump’s proposals because they don’t want to live in rubble for the 20 years it will take to rebuild their houses. They don’t want to live in tents, they don’t want to see their children have to rely on aid handouts. We have so many millions of refugees around the world… yet the Palestinians are meant to put up with horrendous conditions brought upon their heads by Hamas.”

Senate Confirms Robert F Kennedy Jr. to Serve as Trump's Health Secretary

The Senate on Thursday confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary in President Donald Trump's cabinet.
The Republican-controlled Senate voted 52-48 nearly entirely along party lines to confirm Kennedy. The final showdown over his controversial nomination was set in motion hours earlier, after another party line vote on Wednesday afternoon which started the clock ticking toward the confirmation roll call.
Kennedy, the well-known vaccine skeptic and environmental crusader who ran for the White House in 2024 before ending his bid and endorsing Trump, needed a simple majority to be confirmed by the Senate.
Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was the only Republican to vote against Kennedy's nomination. McConnell, the former longtime GOP Senate leader, suffered from polio as a child and is a major proponent of vaccines. (Fox News) Read more

1. Netanyahu holds security briefing in southern Israel as rocket fired from Gaza - JNS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security assessment on Thursday evening at the Israel Defense Forces’ Southern Command in Beersheva as Gaza terrorists targeted the Jewish state with a rocket.
The briefing at the military headquarters in Beersheva was also attended by Defense Minister Israel Katz, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, IDF Chief of Staff-Designate Maj. Gen. (res.) Eyal Zamir, OC Southern Command Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Ronen Bar and other senior Israeli officials.
The security assessment at the Southern Command base lasted some four hours and focused on “the IDF’s operational plans for various scenarios,” a political source in Jerusalem told Hebrew media.
As the meeting got underway, Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired a rocket toward Israel, the IDF said. The projectile fell short inside the Strip, killing a 14-year-old Palestinian, according to initial reports. (Read more)

The Oct. 7, 2023, attacks marked the end of the two-state solution, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana told visiting European Parliament President Roberta Metsola in Jerusalem on Thursday.
“Today, I welcomed @EP_President Roberta Metsola back to the Knesset to discuss the hostages, Iran & UNRWA’s role in fueling terror,” Ohana tweeted. “I told her Hamas also killed the so-called ‘two-state solution’ on October 7th—and thanked her for her solidarity ever since.”
Ohana, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party and ruling coalition, blamed Gaza’s education system for inciting violence and suggested that only the approach proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump offers a fresh perspective.

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas signaled on Thursday that a crisis threatening to unravel the Gaza ceasefire deal could be avoided despite uncertainty over the number of hostages due to be released on Saturday and disagreements over aid supplies
The 42-day ceasefire has appeared close to failure this week amid accusations on both sides of violations to the agreement sealed last month with the help of Egyptian and Qatari mediators and US support.
Hamas said it did not want the deal to collapse, though it rejected what it called the “language of threats and intimidation” from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump. They have said the ceasefire should be canceled if the hostages are not released.
“Accordingly, Hamas reaffirms its commitment to implementing the agreement as signed, including the exchange of prisoners according to the specified timeline,” Hamas said in a statement. (Read more)

IDF Central Command Commanding Officer Avi Bluth signed an official order on Thursday recognizing the jurisdictions of the Judea and Samaria communities of Ahiya and Adorayim, a substantial move that will advance construction and development plans.
The move follows continuous efforts by Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Minister Orit Strock, and Settlement Administration Head Yehuda Eliyahu.
Binyamin Governer Yisrael Ganz congratulated the move and wrote to the residents of Ahiya, which is located in the Binyamin Region: "This is a significant step which allows the continued advancement of the city construction plan which was recently approved by the regional council's Planning and Construction Board. 5. IAF strikes Hezbollah military sites which posed threat to Israeli home front - Israel National News
The IAF on Thursday evening conducted intelligence-based strikes on Hezbollah military sites containing weapons and launchers, that pose a direct threat to the Israeli home front.
"Terrorist activity in these sites is a clear violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon," said the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
"The IDF continues to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel, remains committed to the understandings, and will operate to prevent any attempt of rearmament or rebuild of force by the Hezbollah terrorist organization," it added.
Earlier on Thursday evening, reports in Lebanon said that the IAF conducted strikes in the Litani area in the south of the country. (Read more)

“Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … It truly feels like we’re on the Titanic or throwing gold bar off the top edge.,” Efron said.

2. Trump Considering Using Defense Budget to Boost Deportations – The Gateway Pundit
The Trump administration is reportedly considering using the defense budget to boost deportations.
The administration is said to be unhappy with the current pace of deportations and believes the Immigration and Customs Enforcement budget may be a limiting factor. Citing three unnamed sources, NBC News reports, “The Trump administration is considering tapping into Defense Department funding to hire contractors, a move that would vastly expand the scale and scope of immigrant arrests and deportations in the U.S., according to three sources familiar with the matter.”

The defense contracts would allow civilian-run companies to quickly and rapidly expand temporary detention facilities, such as those that house migrants in tents, as well as to staff those facilities and provide transportation between arrest locations and detention areas. Such a move could also increase the number of airplanes available used to deport immigrants, as well as staff for the flights, the sources said.
Border czar Tom Homan has already tapped agents from the FBI; the Drug Enforcement Administration; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and others to help support Immigrations and Customs Enforcement in making immigrant arrests. TRSS reports to an independent Board of Directors and operates under the oversight of the U.S. Department of Defense to offer classified and sensitive services to the U.S. Government.

5. 75,000 Federal Workers Accept Buyout Offer Before Deadline Closed – The Epoch Times
About 75,000 federal workers accepted the Trump administration’s retirement buyout offer, allowing them to receive full pay and benefits until Sept. 30 while being exempt from daily attendance rules and layoffs.
The figure was confirmed to The Epoch Times by a senior administration official after it was first reported by Semafor.
The 75,000 figure represents approximately slightly below four percent of the 2.3 million federal civil service workforce, not all of whom were eligible for the buyout offer. On average, 98,669 federal employees retired annually between 2000 and 2023, according to datacompiled by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
The difference is the Trump buyout offer—officially known as the Deferred Retirement Program (DRP)—was accepted on average by 6,250 employees each day during the abbreviated offer period of January 28 to February 12. (Read more) |

The continent’s ministers have responded after being blind sided by the announcement from Washington that the two heads of state were set to meet soon.

President Trump and Elon Musk have, shall we say, opened Pandora’s box releasing unspecified evils into America with their shuttering of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). You would think from hearing what the mainstream media and all the Democratic Party extremists are saying that shutting down USAID was the end of democracy. In reality, it is the tip of the Democratic Party/Deep State fraud cartel that has served as a slush fund for virtually every nefarious activity known to man that a government can fund. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) lamented at a protest that Trump and Musk are, “taking away everything we have.” He said it. I think he means it.

Military fighter jet crashes into San Diego Bay off Point Loma coast

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Two pilots were rescued after a fighter jet crashed into the San Diego Bay in the area of 1401 Shelter Island Drive Wednesday morning, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
A U.S. Navy spokesperson confirmed to ABC 10News that the aircraft was an E/A-18 G Growler. The spokesperson said the aircrew safely ejected, and they were taken out of the water. The U.S. Coast Guard says the pilots were rescued by good Samaritans in a fishing boat after they were only in the water for a minute.
The pilots were then transferred to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection boat on the scene before being taken to the hospital, per the Coast Guard.
The Port of San Diego Harbor Police Department held a 1 p.m. press conference to provide more information about the fighter jet crash.
Boat traffic in the Shelter Island Basin has been limited to emergency vessels only, per Harbor PD. Kellogg Beach was closed as well due to the emergency response.
Harbor PD says the main channel of San Diego Bay remains open, in and out, but there will be a large Coast Guard and Navy presence holding the maritime perimeter of the debris field until it's entirely cleared out. Since the Navy is the leading agency in this investigation, Harbor PD could not answer any questions about the pilots or aircraft.
An ABC 10News crew was at the scene reporting on another story when they saw the immediate aftermath of the crash a little before 10:30 a.m.
Naval Air Station North Island sits directly east of where our reporting team was at the time of the crash. The Navy says the crash happened while the pilots were trying to land. It's unclear at this point where they were flying from or what caused the crash.
Both pilots were taken to UC San Diego Health in Hillcrest. An ABC 10News reporter saw the pilots as they were taken into the hospital.
The extent of the pilots' injuries is unclear at this point; however, they were in stable condition. (10news.com) Read more here.

Abba, You surely know, and we ask You to bring it to an end. May we cooperate with You in intercession.
We thank You, Abba, that as the Boeing, EA-18G Growler, crashed into San Diego Bay shortly after take-off, the pilots safely ejected and are mending well. Also, thanks that the jet did not crash into the neighborhoods surrounding the North Island Naval Air Station, nor were any watercraft damaged. Thank You for placing the rescuers, who were in a nearby fishing vessel, so close to the pilots that they were rescued within a minute of ejecting into the Bay. THANK YOU, LORD!

USS Harry S. Truman involved in collision near Egypt

The USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier was involved in a collision Wednesday with a merchant vessel near Port Said, Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea, the Navy announced.
"The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) was involved in a collision with the merchant vessel Besiktas-M at approximately 11:46 p.m. local time, Feb. 12, while operating in the vicinity of Port Said, Egypt, in the Mediterranean Sea," the Navy's Sixth Fleet Public Affairs said in a statement.
"The collision did not endanger the Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as there are no reports of flooding or injuries. The propulsion plants are unaffected and in a safe and stable condition," it added.
The Navy said the incident is now "under investigation."
The circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately clear.
The Truman, which is based in Norfolk, Virginia, deployed in September to the Mediterranean and the Middle East. It had just completed a port call in Souda Bay, Greece.
The ship "provides a wide range of flexible mission capabilities to include maritime security operations, expeditionary power projection, forward naval presence, crisis response, sea control, deterrence, counter-terrorism, information operations and security cooperation," according to the Navy.
"The ship’s embarked air wing is capable of projecting tactical air power over the sea and inland, as well as providing sea based air, surface and subsurface defense capabilities," it also said. (Fox News) Read more here.

Russia’s deputy chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, on Thursday claimed that the recent discussion held between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin brought the world back from the "brink of the Apocalypse."
"It just so happened at some point that the U.S. appointed itself the country-in-chief on our planet with the exclusive right to wage a hybrid war against our people, to mete out justice and grant pardons. It was a grave mistake, which nearly wiped humanity off the face of the earth," he said, without mentioning that the West united behind Ukraine against Russia after Moscow launched the biggest invasion of a European nation since World War II.
"This is a lesson that must be learned by the arrogant American elites and the so-called deep state," Medvedev continued. "The quicker our adversaries realize this, the better.
"If they don’t… the Doomsday Clock will keep on ticking towards midnight," he added, threatening nuclear escalation.
Trump once again prompted geopolitical shock waves following his Wednesday call with Putin when he said in a Truth Social post that peace talks will start "immediately" — comments that came just hours after U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said it was unrealistic that Ukraine would be allowed to join the NATO alliance.
European leaders were quick to react with concern to comments from both Washington and Moscow, including EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, who told Fox News Digital, "It's not wise to surrender Russia’s key demands before the negotiations even start."
"Any peace agreement requires the full involvement of both the Europeans and the Ukrainians to succeed," she continued. "Quick fixes are just dirty deals.

Decorated Stone Blocks Unearthed from Ancient Israelite Palace

Tall adh-Dhahab, Jordan
Evidence has been discovered recently in Jordan of a possible ancient Israelite palace built around 2,800 years ago. Ten stone blocks with carvings of lions and banquet scenes were unearthed at the archaeological site of Tall adh-Dhahab al-Gharbi in the valley of the az-Zarqa River, called the Jabbok River in the Bible.
The iconographic details on the blocks are typical of the area’s monumental public architecture, according to the researchers, suggesting they were part of a government complex. The structures date to the first half of the 8th century BC, during the prosperous period of the northern Kingdom of Israel.
Based on the data collected, experts say the location corresponds to the Biblical site of Mahanaim, named by the patriarch Jacob. The discovery not only provides new evidence of Israelite expansion in the region but also sheds light on how architecture reflected the dimension of power and culture in ancient times.
Biblical Mahanaim: Two Camps
Genesis 32 gives the famous account of how Jacob received his new name Israel, as he made his way home to Canaan from Padan-aram, where he had lived with his father-in-law Laban for 20 years, gaining wives, children and possessions. During this journey, he called a special place Mahanaim which means “two camps.”
