"Decreeing the Word of God Over the News of the Day"

United We Stand                      Tuesday, February 13, 2024
To listen to the recording of last night's call with Pastor Eric Teitelman, and his sister, Gabriella Buchnik, please go here.  If you want to view Pastor Eric's notes, please go here.

Pastor Eric shared the prophetic landscape of what the Lord has been showing him about the United States and our involvement in future conflicts in the Middle East. Last week, an extremely rare 4.0 earthquake struck about one hundred miles off the coast of Florida. We will explore a prophetic correlation between the number four and God’s judgment and redemption.

Also, Pastor Eric’s sister, Gabriella, joined the call and shared about how the attack on October 7th and the subsequent war with Hamas is affecting her close friends in Israel. She gave us some specific prayer points for Israel.

House Speaker Mike Johnson: Biden presser 'confirmed' he isn't fit for office

The Speaker of the House is third in line for the presidency, positioned only behind the vice president in the order of precedence.

In the wake of a Thursday evening press conference in which President Joe Biden attempted to defend himself against accusations of memory loss and assert his fitness for office, one of the highest-ranking elected office holders in the nation has deemed him unfit to be president.

"The President’s press conference this evening further confirmed on live television what the Special Counsel report outlined. He is not fit to be President," House Speaker Mike Johnson declared in response to the episode. The Speaker of the House is third in line for the presidency, positioned only behind the vice president in the order of precedence.

Biden's press conference saw him address claims in special counsel Robert Hur's report about his handling of classified materials. The president pointed to Hur's decision not to bring charges, but fumed over Hur's claim he could not remember when his son Beau died and appeared forgetful in an interview. Biden asserted his memory is "fine" but later proceeded to erroneously labeled Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi as the "President of Mexico."

Biden's mental acuity has long been the subject of scrutiny in light of both his age and penchant for lapses in memory. Earlier this week, he made unrelated gaffes claiming to have met with late German Chancellor Helmut Kohl in 2021, years after his death. At a separate event the same week, he conflated current French President Emmanuel Macron with former President François Mitterrand, who died decades ago. (Just the News)

- Father, this is such a tragic state of affairs for our nation in many ways.  Not only does this report clearly lay out Biden's lack of mental strength to hold office, it also seems to be the one deciding factor exposing his inabilities.  While the people of this nation and members of Congress have been crying out for Joe Biden to have cognitive assessments, nothing has been done to compel it to happen. This has been ongoing since Day 1, so we give You thanks Abba, for allowing this report to bring the issue front and center.  We pray as we go forward, that You will bring Your person into the Presidency and that our nation would be brought back from the precipice of destabilization, in Jesus name.

- "Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, But what is in the heart of fools is made known.  Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people."  (Proverbs 14:33-34)

All 9 Supreme Court Justices Question Anti-Trump Activists' Effort to Kick Him Off the Ballot
Although the Supreme Court never announces ahead of time when it will release an opinion, no doubt the justices know that we are already in the middle of the primary and election season and that ballots are being printed and sent to voters. I expect that we will get a decision—one with lasting effects far beyond 2024—very quickly from the high court.
In what may be one of the most consequential election cases ever heard by the US Supreme Court, the nine justices listened Thursday to 80 minutes of lawyers' oral arguments over the attempt by political activists to knock Donald Trump off the primary ballot in Colorado (and other states).

Although all of the justices asked tough questions of both sides in the case, Trump v. Anderson, the lawyer for the activists seemed to have the hardest time satisfying their concerns.

The essence of the case is the decision by four justices of the Colorado Supreme Court, over the dissents of three colleagues, that because Trump engaged in an "insurrection" on Jan. 6, 2021, he is disqualified from being president under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution and thus may be removed from the ballot.

If the US Supreme Court upholds the Colorado high court's decision, it would disenfranchise millions of voters in Colorado and other states that follow Colorado's misbegotten action, a concern raised by more than one justice during Thursday's arguments. Those voters would have their right to choose who they think should be president taken away from them by a small group of state court judges and partisan election officials. (Daily Signal) Read more here.

- Just Judge of all, we pray for Your justice in this matter and that every member of the Supreme Court hears from You and knows exactly how they should decide for the good of this nation, in Jesus name.  We rebuke those who are pursuing an agenda against President Trump and the conservatives, in Jesus name.  We pray that our Constitution will stand firm in the face of such blatant attacks to use it willfully and we seal up Your truth in the minds of the justices, in Jesus name.

- "'You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, or take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.  You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.'"  (Deuteronomy 16:19-20)

Senate Advances $95 Billion Foreign Aid Package for Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan

The Senate on Feb. 11 moved closer to advancing a foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan over opposition from conservative Republicans who say the U.S.–Mexico border should be secured before funds are given to overseas partners.

In a 67–27 vote, the $95.3 billion package moved a step closer to a final floor vote in the upper chamber, which is expected to occur later this week. If the bill is eventually passed by the full Senate, it would next go to the House.

The bill would provide more than $61 billion in assistance to Ukraine, $14 billion to Israel in its war against Hamas, and $4.83 billion for Indo-Pacific partners, including Taiwan, to counter Chinese communist aggression.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) noted how rare it was for the chamber to have to work on Super Bowl Sunday, but argued that the matter is of critical importance. “As we speak, [Russian President Vladimir Putin’s] invasion of Ukraine has rendered parts of Eastern Europe a war zone the likes of which we have not seen in those regions since the Second World War,” Mr. Schumer said. “Ukraine is dangerously low on supplies, including ammo and air defenses. If America doesn’t assist Ukraine, Putin is all too likely to succeed.”

The bill’s advancement came days after Senate Republicans blocked another broader foreign aid package that included border security policies, which Republicans had sharply criticized for not doing enough to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

Former President Donald Trump, who came out forcefully against the previous package, on Feb. 10 called for future foreign aid to be structured as loans. “It can be loaned on extraordinarily good terms, like no interest and an unlimited life, but a loan nevertheless,” the former president and GOP frontrunner posted on Truth Social.

Republican Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has vowed to delay the final vote on the package. “It’s criminal neglect for Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, and [President] Joe Biden to get together to send $100 billion overseas to fix someone else’s border before addressing our border,” Mr. Paul said in a Feb. 9 interview on Fox Business.

Working with Mr. Paul was Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who spoke on the Senate floor for more than four hours on Feb. 10 in a bid to delay the latest procedural vote.

Even if the Senate passes the bill, it faces an unclear path in the House, where a growing number of Republicans are highly skeptical of Ukraine aid. Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), who has a slim Republican majority, has indicated that he could try to split the aid provisions into separate measures once the bill arrives from the Senate.

But a stand-alone aid bill for Israel failed in the House last week after all Democrats voted against it in favor of the Senate Ukraine-border package, with help from conservative Republicans who opposed the lack of funding cuts to offset the aid. (The Epoch Times)

- Mighty God, we call for a screeching halt to this scheme of grouping a whole bunch of different things together so that everyone will vote for it to support their favorite item. It's time for this trick to stop, in Jesus name.  Holy One, we pray for our nation to resist spending ourselves into oblivion and borrowing the money from China to do so. We pray for failure to this spending package and Godly guidance as to how to support each one of these nations individually, in Jesus name.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Hamas's al-Qassam Brigades claims three hostages killed in Israeli airstrikes - Jerusalem Post

Hamas's armed wing claimed on Monday that three of eight Israeli hostages who were seriously injured following Israeli airstrikes had died from their wounds.

"The al-Qassam Brigades announce the killing of three of the eight Zionist detainees who we announced yesterday were seriously injured in the barbaric Zionist raids on the Gaza Strip," the Al Qassam Brigades said on Hamas's Telegram channel. "We will postpone announcing the names and photos of the dead for days to come until the fate of the rest of the wounded becomes clear."

Information shared by Hamas on the hostages is generally considered to be unreliable and a part of Hamas's psychological warfare. In the past, Hamas has claimed the death of a hostage who was later released as part of a ceasefire agreement. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu hails ‘one of the most successful’ rescue ops in Israeli history - JNS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday thanked special forces operators who freed two hostages from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip in “one of the most successful rescue operations in the history of the State of Israel.”

Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Norberto Louis Har, 70, both kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7 while visiting Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak, were rescued in an overnight operation in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah.

The Israel Defense Forces, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Police worked together to free the Israeli-Argentine nationals. The Shin Bet’s operational unit managed the operation, which was carried out by it and the Israel Police’s Yamam National Counter-Terrorism Unit. (Read more)

3.  Jordan’s King Abdullah: October 7 attacks cannot be accepted by any Muslim - Times of Israel

Jordan’s King Abdullah gives one of his most pointed criticisms of Hamas’s October 7 terror onslaught.

“All attacks against innocent civilians, women and children, including those of October 7, cannot be accepted by any Muslim,” he says alongside US President Joe Biden.

“As I have previously stressed, we must make sure the horrors of the past few months since October 7, are never repeated, nor accepted by any human being.” (Read more)

4.  Disagreements over war driving Biden towards ‘breach’ with Israel - JNS

Disagreements over the war against Hamas are driving United States President Joe Biden towards a “breach” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he believes can no longer be “influenced even in private,” The Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing insiders in Washington.

Quoting “19 senior administration officials and outside advisers,” the newspaper said that Biden’s mounting frustration with Netanyahu has led some White House aides to suggest that the president ramp up public criticism of the Israel Defense Forces operation in the Gaza Strip.

Politico claimed last week that Biden is “deeply suspicious” of Israel’s leader and had said privately that Netanyahu was a “bad f–ing guy.”

While the White House subsequently denied the report, the Wall Street Journal said on Feb. 1 that Biden is frustrated over the number of casualties in Gaza, the displacement of civilians from their homes, “and the lack of a road map for ending the fighting.”

5. Court orders Netherlands to stop F-35 parts delivery to Israel over war on Hamas - Times of Israel

The Netherlands must stop delivering parts for F-35 fighter jets used by Israel in the Gaza Strip, a Dutch court ruled on Monday following an appeal by human rights organizations.

The groups had argued that supplying the parts contributed to alleged violations of international law by Israel in its war with the Palestinian terror group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

“The court orders the State to cease all actual export and transit of F-35 parts with final destination Israel within seven days after service of this judgment,” said the ruling. (Read more)

1. Large cluster of sunspots that can cause strong solar flares and affect power grids detected by NASA - Fox News

NASA has detected a large grouping of sunspots — dark patches on the sun — known as AR3576, which have increased in size in the last month and could be a risk for strong solar flares.

Solar flares, which are a large burst of energy on the sun's surface, can pose a risk to spacecraft and astronauts and also affect radio communications, electric power grids and navigation signals, according to NASA.

In fact, NASA captured a massive solar flare on Friday at its Solar Dynamics Observatory.

And in December, the largest solar flare in six years — that caused problems with airplane radio communications — occurred, sending a burst of radiation hurtling toward Earth.

Sunspots, which on average are the size of Earth, appear darker than the rest of the sun because they’re cooler and can cause solar flares when magnetic field lines are crossed. Some of AR3576's sunspots are actually larger than Earth.

"Real-time images from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory show an enormous sunspot group moving across the Sun right now!," NASA posted on Friday. "If you have eclipse glasses and good vision, you might be able to see it without magnification. (Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection!)" (Read more)
- Lord, we ask You to protect us from these solar flares from interfering with radio communications, power grids, and navigation signals. We thank You that Your power is greater than any other!

- "But you, O Lord, are a shield about me." (Psalm 3:3)

2. First-ever global database for acts of religious violence launched - Christian Daily International

The first global database to track cases of anti-religion violence became available to the general public in January, providing rights advocates, ministries and others a plethora of information to defend religious freedom and belief.

The Violent Incidents Database (VID) tracks types of perpetrators, religion of victims and both non-physical and physical violence, from forcible marriage to killings. Run by the International Institute for Religious Freedom (IIRF) and funded by Global Christian Relief (GCR), it is the first worldwide database of incidents of anti-religion violence, said IIRF International Director Dennis Petri.

“It’s not expert-opinion based, it’s just recording incidents as they appear in public sources in the media, and that’s really the added value of the instrument, because it fills a gap,” Petri told Christian Daily International. “And of course, it’s useful for research but also for ministries that work in that space to inform their strategic planning, and also for advocacy and awareness raising, because it really gives you a sense of the scope and the magnitude of different phenomena.”

Providing searches by country, religion and perpetrator, the database also includes data on arrests, vandalism, sexual harassment, abductions, attacks on houses, attacks on shops, closures of worship venues, attacks on religious buildings and cases of people forced from their homes or countries.

Kinds of perpetrators listed are religious groups, organized crime, political parties, religious leaders, ethnic leaders, family, government officials, ideological pressure groups, ordinary civilians, revolutionaries or paramilitary groups and multilateral organizations. (Read more)

3. Super Bowl QB Brock Purdy starts off every day reading this Bible passage - Christian Post

During media availability this week ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy shared how he has leaned on Psalm 23 this season by reading the passage daily to "start off with some solitude."

"The Lord is my shepherd. I have what I need. He lets me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters," Purdy said, paraphrasing Psalm 23:1 during a Sports Spectrum interview posted to YouTube on Wednesday.

"For me, playing this game, playing this sport, there is a lot that goes into it. It's easy to get wrapped up in wanting and feeling, wanting to be loved — obviously by your teammates and everybody, but like the world. For me, in that passage, its talking about I already have what I need from the Good shepherd in Jesus." (Read more)

-Thank You for this report that Brock Purdy starts his day with Psalm 23! We speak blessings over him, in Jesus name.

4. Russia says it foiled Ukrainian drone attack on civilian cargo ships in Black Sea - Reuters

MOSCOW, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Russia said on Saturday it had repelled an attempted Ukrainian drone attack on Russian "civilian transport ships" on Friday evening in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, a key artery for grain and oil exports from both countries.
Civilian vessels on the Black Sea have not generally been targeted since Moscow ordered its troops into Ukraine in February 2022, but last July both sides said they would start treating ships headed to the other's ports as potential carriers of military cargo.

In a statement posted on the Telegram messaging app, Russia's Defence Ministry said Ukraine had attempted what it called "a terrorist attack on Russian civilian transport ships using semi-submersible naval drones".
It said Russian patrol boats and warplanes had averted the attack, destroying one Ukrainian naval drone by artillery fire and disabling the rest by electronic warfare. No Russian civilian or military vessels were damaged, it said. (Read more)

- Lord, we intercede over the Russian and Ukrainian ongoing war. We pray this war would end, in Jesus name. Bring peace Lord to this region. This has been going on too long.

5. Tucker Carlson interview: Fact-checking Putin's 'nonsense' history - BBC

US talk show host Tucker Carlson's interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin began with a rambling half-hour lecture on the history of Russia and Ukraine.

Mr Carlson, frequently appearing bemused, listened as Mr Putin expounded at length about the origins of Russian statehood in the ninth century, Ukraine as an artificial state and Polish collaboration with Hitler.

It is familiar ground for Mr Putin, who infamously penned a 5,000-word essay entitled "On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians" in 2021, which foreshadowed the intellectual justification the Kremlin offered for its invasion of Ukraine less than a year later.

Historians say the litany of claims made by Mr Putin are nonsense - representing nothing more than a selective abuse of history to justify the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Regardless of the historical realities, none of Putin's assertions would form a legal justification for his invasion. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that those who saw and heard this interview would see through Putin's explanation for the war in Ukraine as nonsense. We intercede over any repercussions or consequences as a result of this interview.

"There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers." (Proverbs 6:16-19)
6. US orders 'assurances' from nations receiving American weapons - BBC

US President Joe Biden has said that countries receiving American weapons must adhere to international law in a memorandum issued on Thursday night.

The executive order requires foreign governments receiving military aid to provide written assurances that they are abiding by the laws of war.

The move comes after the president admitted Israel had gone "over the top" in its response in Gaza.

Since 1950, Israel has received more US military aid than any other nation.

In the memorandum, President Biden said that "credible and reliable written assurances" must be provided to the US by foreign governments that receive American weapons to ensure they are used in accordance with international law.

As part of this, foreign governments must also provide assurances that US humanitarian aid is being delivered to civilian populations caught in a conflict.

The memorandum requires this information be shared with Congress periodically, as well as the US president.

All 100 countries receiving US weapons must sign the assurances in the next 180 days. But those involved in active conflicts, including Israel, have just 45 days to reply to the order. If an issue arises, a plan must be put in place to remediate the situation, the memorandum states. (Read more)

- Lord, we intercede over this requirement especially as it concerns Israel. Protect Israel from its enemies and give them hands for war when needed.

- "Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight." (Psalm 144)

7. Dream Center Lifts Up Los Angeles Amid Historic Storms - Charisma News

Even in the midst of literal storms, God is there with us as trials and tribulation come our way.

He also sets in place ministries to help those affected by life's hardships, such as the Dream Center in Los Angeles, California.

Answering the call Jesus put forth, the Dream Center, helmed by founder Matthew Barnett, has opened it's doors and hit the streets to assist those being affected by the threatening weather pattern and lack proper housing.

Posting to X (formerly Twitter), Barnett sounded the alarm about the approaching weather, and that the Dream Center had emergency housing on standby for those who needed it.

In the wake of the devastating storms that have swept through California, leaving communities in need, the Dream Center's provision of emergency housing stands as a beacon of hope and compassion. As they open their doors to those affected, this act of service mirrors the teachings of Jesus, who exhorted his followers to love and serve others selflessly.

The Dream Center's response exemplifies the Christian call to be a light in the darkness, demonstrating that in times of crisis, faith compels believers to extend a helping hand to those facing adversity. In the spirit of community and compassion, the Dream Center's commitment to providing shelter and support echoes the timeless message of love and service that Christians are called to embody in a world that needs it now more than ever.
(Read more here)

- Lord, thank you for these churches like the Dream Center who reach out to their communities in need. May more churches join the Dream Center, helping their community that has been affected by this weather.

8. Iran Cheers 45th Anniversary of Islamic Revolution with Promises of ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’ - Breitbart

The 45th anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution was celebrated Sunday amid the backdrop of tumult across the Middle East sparked by the Hamas Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.

General Mohammad Salami, commander of the powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,  was amongst those leading the calls for the destruction of the U.S. and Israel which the regime has blamed along with “Britain and many European countries as well as their stooges […] complicit in the Zionist regime’s criminal acts against the Palestinian people.”

AP reports thousands of Iranians marched through major streets and squares decorated with flags, balloons, and banners with revolutionary and religious slogans.

In Tehran, crowds waved Iranian flags, chanted slogans, and carried placards with the traditional “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” written on them. (Read more)

- We speak peace to the rest of the world as  Iran continues its hate against the United States and Israel. Protect us from Iran and their calls for destruction.

The Daily Jot

Are You A Covenant Keeper?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, February 12, 2024

There are many times in life where we want to do something, maybe we even commit to doing it, but somehow life happens and we don’t do it. As a coach, I would often ask an athlete why wasn’t the play or drill executed properly. The answer was something like, “Coach, I’m trying.” My response was, “Well, trying ain’t doing.” The Apostle Paul had the same problem. He writes in Romans 7:18-19, “I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do.” If we know the Ten Commandments, for example, we know what is right to do, but we often struggle unto the law of sin.

In Exodus 24, Moses finished telling the people the laws of the covenant with God, and the people responded with, “Everything that ADONAI has spoken, we will do and obey.” Then Moses sprinkled the blood on the people saying, this is the blood of the covenant…” This is the Mosaic covenant, a type and a place holder of the better covenant to come.  In Jeremiah 31:33, God speaks concerning a new covenant, “For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says LORD, ‘I will put my Torah (law) in their minds and write it on the their hearts.” Now fast forward to Matthew 26:28, where Christ spoke to his disciples in fulfillment of this prophesy, “For this is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many, so that their sins may be forgiven.” Read More

Trump Weighs In on Damning Biden Special Counsel Report

Speaking to a huge crowd in Conway, President Trump addressed the findings of the report.

“As you probably know, two days ago, the Biden ‘Department of Injustice’ let crooked Joe off the hook for some of his other egregious crimes—including his brazen theft of classified documents long before he was ever president,” President Trump said.

“This is yet more proof that we have a weaponized, two-tiered system of justice in this country.

“Crooked Joe got off scot-free after willfully stealing gigantic numbers of classified documents and stuffing them in his drawers, stashing them in crumpled boxes, and leaving them strewn all over his garage floor next to his Corvette.”

Critics of the Department of Justice (DOJ) decision to not charge President Biden have also led to calls that criminal proceedings against President Trump on his documents case be dropped.

President Trump repeated these calls during his speech.

“If there was one shred of honesty or decency left in the radical left Democrat Party and the Biden DOJ ... the entire phony Boxes Hoax would be dropped immediately,” he said.

President Trump added that if President Biden is too mentally impaired to be charged, he should also be considered unfit for the presidency.

“The special counsel’s report tries to let Biden off by claiming that he is too mentally incompetent to convict at a trial,“ President Trump said. ”But if Joe Biden is not fit to charge, then he is not fit to serve as our commander in chief.” (Fox News) Read more.

- Father, we call for equal justice under the law because no one is above the law, even if they are old and unfit. It seems evident that Joe Biden has committed a crime in removing federal documents while he was both a senator and a vice president, which are against the law. We pray for all charges against President Trump to be dropped, since it is not illegal for a past president to have the same type of documents, in Jesus name. If Joe Biden is not charged, then neither should President Trump be under such charges, in Jesus name.  Thank You Father, for an outcome that is in Your will and under Your guidance for this nation.  Amen.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin undergoes non-surgical procedures for bladder issue, full recovery expected
Austin was admitted to Walter Reed on Sunday and is expected to resume his full duties on Tuesday, doctors said Monday.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin underwent non-surgical procedures after he was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for symptoms suggesting an emergent bladder issue, doctors said Monday.

Austin was taken to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Maryland on Sunday.

"Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III underwent non-surgical procedures under general anesthesia to address his bladder issue.  We anticipate a successful recovery and will closely monitor him overnight," read a statement from Walter Reed Dr. John Maddox, trauma medical director, and Dr. Gregory Chesnut, Center for Prostate Disease Research of the Murtha Cancer Center Director.

"A prolonged hospital stay is not anticipated," the doctors said. "We anticipate the Secretary will be able to resume his normal duties tomorrow. The current bladder issue is not expected to change his anticipated full recovery."

Austin is expected to resume his duties on Tuesday. He previously transferred his functions and duties to Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks.

The defense secretary's planned trip to Brussels this week for meetings on Ukraine and NATO has been canceled, and the Wednesday Ukraine Defense Contact Group will meet virtually, the department said Monday.

On Monday, Maddox and Chesnut said Austin's "cancer prognosis remains excellent." (Fox News) Read more here.

- Father God, we continue to lift up our Secretary of Defense, Loyd J. Austin III, before Your Throne of Grace. We ask that You grant Your wisdom to his medical team, so that he can be healed of this affliction. We ask that this time of suffering in his life would be used to turn his heart to You, as he seeks answers for the healing You have in store for him. In Your Name, Abba, amen and amen.

- "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." (Jeremiah 17:14)
Lakewood Church shooting suspect identified as transgender woman; 'Free Palestine' written on gun
Genesse Ivonne Moreno has lengthy criminal history

Police in Houston, Texas have identified the shooter who opened fire at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church on Sunday as Genesse Ivonne Moreno, Fox News has confirmed.

Moreno, who has a lengthy criminal record and was born as a man – Jeffrey Escalante – from El Salvador, was killed after off-duty police officers at the church responded to the incident.

A search warrant said Moreno pointed an AR-15 at the officers who then fired upon her and killed her in self-defense.

The message "Free Palestine" also was written on the rifle used in the attack, investigators said.

After the shooter opened fire, off-duty officers at the scene "engaged" the shooter and returned fire. Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that two people were injured – a 57-year-old man and the child that who the shooter came with, who remains in critical condition at a children’s hospital. The child is not expected to survive, a Montgomery County District Attorney's Office spokesperson told the Houston Chronicle.

During a press conference, Osteen thanked law enforcement and said that he was "devastated" by the shooting.

"We don't understand why all these things happened, but we know God's in control," Osteen said.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called the shooting "tragic." (Fox News) Read more here.

- We would ask that you pray for God to encourage His people at Lakewood Church to move forward from this shooting on Suday, February 11th.  I pray that the 5 year old boy who was shot be healed completely and not suffer emotionally from this incident.  I pray for the healing of the elderly man who was shot in the leg.

May the Lord continue to protect His flock. Lord you said that upon this rock you shall build your church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  Let your peace and comfort fall upon the staff and people of Lakewood and that they never grow weary of doing good in the kingdom in Jesus name.  Amen

White Rainbow Spotted in North Israel:
Sign of the Messiah?

A white rainbow composed of mist was spotted in northern Israel on Friday by Nadav Yisraeli,  an ornithologist at the Society for the Protection of Nature.

As the name suggests, this is phenomenon is very similar to the colorful rainbow we normally see but is formed in fog rather than rain. Because of the very small size of the water droplets in the fog – less than 0.05 millimeters – the colors in such a rainbow are very weak and you can see mainly the color white, with a little red on the outside and a little blue on the inside.

In a normal rainbow, the water drops “break” the light into its colors, and each color is perceived at a slightly different angle. In a rainbow that appears in the fog, the water drops are small and close to each other so that the colors “mix” again and are perceived as white. This is also what happens normally in clouds which is why they are perceived as white.

Many people, upon seeing the rare phenomenon, were reminded of a section in the Zohar (section 1, 72b) that differentiates between a dark-colored rainbow and a light-uncolored rainbow. The Zohar writes that a rainbow in dark colors reminds us that God made a covenant in the time of Noah promising not to bring a flood to the world. A colored rainbow should awaken us to repentance, that the gods of God’s covenant in the days of Noah we were bound by the law of the 16th century.

But, according to the Zohar, a rainbow of bright colors or entirely white marks the imminent arrival of the Messiah. It is a reminder of the covenant of the Biblical patriarchs and God’s promise to return the people of Israel to the Land of Israel. When God does so, he will adorn the people of Israel with all the decorations of a bride. Read More

Asbury Awakening's Impact Ongoing, One Year Later:

'An Overwhelming Glimpse of God'

It's been one year since the biggest U.S. revival in more than 50 years broke out at Wilmore, Kentucky's Asbury University. Although it lasted only two weeks and two days, the impact was felt far and wide, not only on campus but around the world.  Asbury President Dr. Kevin Brown says there's still a feeling of expectancy in the air, even a year later. "Our students continue to be hungry. They continue to lead. They've gone and they've shared, we've had over 50 groups go to different ministries and churches, both in the United States and overseas," Brown said. For 16 days and nights, students and others worshipped and experienced the presence of God. What began as student-led prayer at a scheduled chapel service on February 8, 2023, led to something extraordinary.

"God turned my world technicolor, and I don't know how else to describe it, but prayer came alive," said 20-year-old sophomore Riley McChord. "I mean, I saw physical healing, cancer be removed, I saw physically cancer off somebody's neck be removed. I saw emotional healing, relational healing, and there were two other girls and now my boyfriend and we did that time together and we spent literally every waking moment there. We did not sleep, and we stayed there for two weeks," she said. "It was an overwhelming glimpse of just God, His goodness, yeah, His goodness, His mercy, His grace, His firmness. It was a glimpse of what heaven's going to be like when we get to just reign and dwell with God forever," said 20-year-old student Caleb Rushing. (CBN) Read More Here

- Lord, we thank You that the presence of Your Holy Spirit resides at Asbury University and is transforming lives! We decree in the Name of Jesus that the anointing will continue to travel far and wide as students leave Asbury to the place You have assigned them. We lift all glory and honor to You and praise You for this remarkable move of Your Spirit. Let revival continue to spread like wildfire to Universities across America! In the mighty Name of Yeshua, -Amen.

- "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight fo the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour." (Luke 4:18-19)
Thought for the Day
"We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—"
(2 Corinthians 4:8,9)
A Special Message
The Sinner's Prayer
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Scripture: They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14

Lyrics:
Have you been to Jesus
For the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless?
Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Are you walking daily
By the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain

When the Bridegroom cometh
Will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Refrain

Lay aside the garments
That are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
O be washed in the blood of the Lamb!

Refrain
