"Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation."

Republicans blast Biden 'diplomatic boycott'
of Olympics as too meager
Sen. Bill Hagerty of Tennessee argued that the 2022 games should be moved out of China completely

Republican lawmakers took aim at President Biden for his diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics, arguing keeping U.S. officials from attending did not go far enough as they called for removing the games from China.

The Biden administration itself has accused the communist nation of genocide.

"While I have called for the United States and other nations to impose a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics, this is the bare minimum, and President Biden should do more to hold accountable the Chinese Communist Party," Sen. Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., said in a statement Monday.

Hagerty argued that the 2022 games should be moved out of China completely, citing the recent disappearance of Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai. (Fox News) Read more.

- Father, our nation has always stood up for human rights in the world, which is why we have an International Religious Affairs organization in our government.  Persecuting, torturing and imprisoning people because of their religious beliefs is not just an internal affair, it is inhumane and we are called to stand up for those who are mistreated.  Let us be firm and strong in opposing the Olympics completely and standing up to China's violations of human rights.

- "The Lord . . . will do no unrighteousness.  Every morning He brings His justice to light; He never fails, But the unjust knows no shame."  (Zephaniah 3:5)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israel to urge US to act militarily against Iran amid stalled nuke talks — reports - Times of Israel

Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Mossad chief David Barnea will push during their meetings this week in Washington with senior Biden administration officials for the United States to carry out a military strike on Iranian targets, Israel’s three main TV news broadcasts reported Sunday night.

According to the reports, which did not cite sources, Gantz and Barnea will urge their American interlocutors to develop a “Plan B” vis-a-vis Iran, seeing the stalled nuclear talks in Vienna as an opportunity to press the US to take a more aggressive stance toward the Islamic Republic. (Read more)

Defense Minister will take off from Israel early on Thursday morning. His meetings will center on policy and security issues. (Read more)

3. Unofficial Reports Say Iran Downed ‘Spy Drone’ Over Natanz - Jewish Press

Unofficial news reports quoted by the Iranian FARS news agency said late Saturday that military personnel fired missile defenses at a “spy drone,” causing a large explosion to be heard, and a “bright light” to be seen in Badrud, about 12 miles (20 kilometers) from the Natanz nuclear plant.

A reporter for the news agency said an “unknown drone” was shot down.

“Some local people on social networks and activists of social media groups reported the crash of a UAV in the city of Koohrang,” the Iranian Mizan News Agency reported Sunday.

“A Shahrekord city official confirmed the authenticity of the video, which was published in cyberspace but did not provide details,” the news agency reported. (Read more)

4. Hamas threatens renewed violence against Israel, slams Egypt on Gaza mediation - Ynet News

In an interview with Al-Jazeera, the source claimed that Cairo did not keep its promise to rehabilitate the Gaza Strip after the May war with Israel and ease the blockade on the Palestinian enclave, and continues to put hurdles for Gazans who wish to leave the territory through the Rafah border crossing.

"The Egyptian behavior violates its promises to oblige Israel to fulfill all its obligations in exchange for the opposition being bound to calm down," the source said. "We express great dissatisfaction with the conduct of the Egyptian mediators and their withdrawal from their promises to the Gaza Strip. We will not allow the current situation to continue, and we will prove the credibility of our words.

"We are examining the possibilities for escalation with Israel against the background of the continuation of the blockade and the delay in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli attacks on al-Aqsa Mosque and on [Palestinian] prisoners will lead to a renewed explosion of the situation." Shortly after, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also issued its own threat, warning of delays in lifting the siege on the Strip, in what appears to be a planned media campaign.

A senior Hamas source said on Monday that the Palestinian terror outfit was weighing escalating violence against Israel after weeks of relative calm while launching an unusual attack against Egypt for its mediation between the parties. (Read more)

5. Iran-Hezbollah help Hamas, Islamic Jihad trounce Israel with propaganda - Jerusalem Post

Iran and Hezbollah are helping Hamas and Islamic Jihad trounce Israel in the broader propaganda war, especially surrounding the Gaza war this past May, according to a report exclusively obtained by The Jerusalem Post.

The report, by Dr. Michael Barak of the The International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) of Reichman University, notes that, “One of the major areas terrorist organizations operate to influence their enemy’s public opinion is propaganda, including an increasing focus on social media.”

In recent years, the Gazan terror groups have “managed to build a body of knowledge and acquire a propaganda tool kit, in large part thanks to mentorship by pro-Iranian media outlets, some of which are controlled by Hezbollah (either in Lebanon or Gaza), or via online guidance by the latter.” (Read more)

NEW FEATURE!! HEADLINES IN RED SHOW THAT LIGHT IS OVERCOMING THE DARKNESS; AND ARE DIRECT ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS!
1. Biden Infrastructure Bill Includes Passive Monitoring Vehicle "Kill Switch" Mandates For Automakers - ZeroHedge

As if the Biden administration wasn't doing enough to infringe on your civil liberties with lockdowns and vaccine mandates, media reports over the last several days are suggesting that Biden's new infrastructure bill will also include a mandate for auto manufacturers to install "kill switches" into vehicles.
Former Rep. Bob Barr, writing for The Daily Caller, calls the measure "disturbingly short on details", but for the fact that the proposed device must “passively monitor the performance of a driver of a motor vehicle to accurately identify whether that driver may be impaired.”

Which, of course, is code for some kind of device that is constantly on and monitoring your vehicle - and will likely have the power to shut down your vehicle anytime it wants.
"This is a privacy disaster in the making, and the fact that the provision made it through the Congress reveals — yet again — how little its members care about the privacy of their constituents," The Daily Caller writes.

- Lord, as American freedoms continue to erode before our eyes, we call upon Your Mighty Name to stop these attempts to control us, even our transportation. Have mercy, O Lord, and move on our behalf.

- “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

2.  Oregon Health Officials Seek to Make Indoor Mask Mandate Indefinite -  (theepochtimes.com)

Public health officials in Oregon, who recently lifted the state’s outdoor mask mandate, are working to keep a separate set of indoor mask requirements for places such as schools and hospitals in place indefinitely.

Oregon’s first indoor mask mandate was imposed in May 2020 and lifted in June of this year, after the number of COVID-19 cases fell. Gov. Kate Brown, who promised to remove many restrictions once 70 percent of adults received at least their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, nonetheless reinstated the mandate in August, saying at that time that without new interventions, COVID-19 hospitalizations driven by the more transmissible Delta variant would “completely overwhelm” the state’s hospitals.

Under the current mandate, which is set to expire in February 2022, all individuals aged 5 and older, regardless of their vaccination status, must wear masks in all indoor public spaces, such as schools, health care facilities, homeless shelters, and public transit.

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) on Dec. 2 assembled a Rules Advisory Committee to discuss a potential “permanent” indoor mask mandate, KATU, a local ABC affiliate, reported. The discussion was joined by several community stakeholders, including those from the hospitality industry, the business sector, and faith communities.

Dr. Paul Cieslak, the medical director for communicable diseases and immunizations at OHA, told KATU that the “permanent” indoor mask mandate doesn’t mean it will never go away, but it won’t automatically expire unless it’s repealed. “Permanent means indefinite. It doesn’t necessarily mean permanent,” Cieslak said. “We can repeal it as well, but we are only allowed to have a temporary rule for 180 days, and anything that goes beyond 180 days, we cannot extend it.”

- Lord, people have become drunk with power in the plans to control the populace over this disease. We pray that You will destroy this burden from the people and bring freedom once again.

- “In that day the Lord will end the bondage of His people. He will break the yoke of slavery and lift it from their shoulders.” (Isaiah 10:27)

3. Media Companies ‘Meet In Secret’ With Biden White House To Discuss More Favorable Economic Coverage - The Daily Caller

The White House has been working with major news outlets “behind the scenes” to “reshape coverage” on the economic crisis, according to CNN. The administration has been “briefing major newsrooms over the past week” while “discussing with newsrooms trends pertaining to job creation, economic growth, supply chains, and more,” CNN reports, citing an anonymous source.

The administration has argued that “the country’s economy is in much better shape than it was last year.” CNN reported the conversations have “been productive, with anchors and reporters and producers getting to talk with the officials.”

Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank claimed Friday that the Biden Administration has received “unrelenting negative” coverage when compared to former President Donald Trump. (Read more)

- We thank You that You are an omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God who sees and knows what men plan to do in secret that which they do not want the general public to know.   We strongly come against this scheming to control the media even more and pray that the media will not stand for such demonic oversight.  We ask that You would break up this wicked alliance and pervade our airways with a spirit of truth that gives a true picture of what is really happening in our country.  Thank You, Lord, for Your kind of truth that liberates.

- "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, ot whether it be evil."  (Ecclesiastes 12:14)

4. Judge halts Biden vaccine mandate for federal contractors nationwide - The Hill

A federal judge in Georgia on Tuesday temporarily halted the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors across the country.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge R. Stan Baker, an appointee of former President Trump, is the latest in a series of legal setbacks for President Biden as his administration seeks to blunt the effects of a global pandemic that has killed more than 788,000 people in the U.S.

“The Court acknowledges the tragic toll that the COVID-19 pandemic has wrought throughout the nation and the globe,” Baker wrote in a 28-page ruling. “However, even in times of crisis this Court must preserve the rule of law and ensure that all branches of government act within the bounds of their constitutionally granted authorities.”  (Read more)

-  Praise You, Father, that wiser heads are prevailing in this unconstitutional overreach of this administration.  We decree and declare that this mandate is stopped in its tracks and will go no further.  Thank You for keeping our Constitutional rights safe from ambitious politicians.

- "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father."  (Romans 8:15)

5. Former WH chief of staff Mark Meadows will cease cooperation with Jan. 6 committee - DML News

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows will no longer be cooperating with a committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, despite previous efforts to work with them. Meadows and his attorney George Terwilliger plan to officially notify the committee Tuesday morning, after the senior Trump administration official could not come to terms with lawmakers on an arrangement to work with them.

We have made efforts over many weeks to reach an accommodation with the committee,” Meadows’s attorney George Terwilliger told Fox News. The report explains that Meadows had planned to voluntarily appear before the committee to answer questions that were not protected by executive privilege. However, over the weekend, the committee made it clear they intended to dive into executive privilege matters as well, leading Meadows to pull back. (Read more)

- Dear Lord, thank You that Former White House Chief of Staff Meadows will no longer be helping this ill-conceived committee do its politically motived task of investigating January 6th activities.  We call for a disbanding of this committee as it is not respecting executive privilege and is seeking to destroy a former President.  Father God, please remove those who cannot legislate and do the work of the country without seeking revengeful methods of doing so.

- "Let the proud be ashamed, for they treated me wrongfully with falsehood; but I will meditate on Your precepts."  (Psalms 119:78)
6. Kate' testifies Ghislaine Maxwell asked if she had friends who would perform sex acts on Epstein - Washington Examiner

A British woman named "Kate" testified Monday that Ghislaine Maxwell pressured her into giving Jeffrey Epstein sexual massages when she was still a teenager and asked if the then-17-year-old had any friends willing to give the disgraced financier oral sex because "it was a lot for her to do."

Kate, now 44, described how Maxwell taught her how to give Epstein sexualized massages and said that during one of the first encounters, the 59-year-old British socialite told her to "have a good time" before opening the door to reveal a naked Epstein. Kate said she was "frozen" and "terrified," but when the massage ended, Maxwell praised her for being "such a good girl" and "sounded really pleased."

Kate said Maxwell and Epstein promised to help her with her musical career and often bragged about the list of powerful people they knew... (Read more)

- Father God, we ask for justice from Your courtroom in heaven for every single person abused by this woman and her partner.  Let Your healing, redemption, and cleansing be received by all and we pray for this trial to be legitimate and the consequences appropriate.

- "The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether."  (Psalm 19:9)

7. Trump endorses David Perdue in Georgia's governor race - The Hill

Former President Trump endorsed former Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) in Georgia's gubernatorial GOP primary, a contest that is shaping up to be one of the most competitive political battles of the 2022 election cycle. “David Perdue has my Complete and Total Endorsement. He will not let you down!" Trump said in a statement Monday evening.

Earlier Monday, Trump called the state's Republican governor's rae "interesting" just after Perdue formally announced his candidacy. Purdue’s entry into the race marked a win for Trump, who had long looked for a strong candidate to take on current Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who had infuriated Trump when Kemp declined to support the former president’s effort to overturn his 2020 presidential loss in Georgia.

In his campaign announcement, Perdue, who lost his Senate seat in a January runoff election, said he expected to hit Kemp over the results of the 2020 presidential election. (Read more)

- Thank You Father for a strong gubernatorial candidate in Georgia.  We pray for Senator Perdue's actions to follow his words and that he is a man of integrity.  May his campaign be righteous with a solid platform, and without attachments to deep state actors.  We bless You Abba for calling forth upright candidates all across this land.

- "Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come."  (Psalm 71:18)

 8. US says after Biden call, 'Still do not believe that Putin has made a decision' on invading Ukraine - Just The News

President Biden spoke Tuesday morning for about two hours with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in a video call during which the president was expected to seek a diplomatic solution for Russia assembling tens of thousands of troops near the Ukraine border for a possible invasion, in addition to telling Putin the U.S. is ready to impose austere sanctions.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan briefed the press Tuesday afternoon following the meeting, telling reporters "the president was crystal clear about where the United States stands on all these issues."

He also said Biden will speak Thursday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Sullivan said that "we still do not believe that Putin has made a decision," in terms of his intention to invade Ukraine, but that Biden very clearly spelled out what would happen if Putin decided to invade. (Read more)

- King of Kings, You are well able to help Putin make a decision on whether or not to invade the Ukraine. Visit him with dreams or visions or perhaps write Your answer on his wall. Father, we ask for peace and stability in this area. May Your warring angels guard the borders and convince Ukrainians not to return any fire or provocation; may they not take the bait! We ask wisdom for the NATO leaders; may they clearly hear Your voice and move in agreement. Lord, You are well able to knock Putin off of his high horse and draw him to You. You are also well able to prevent Biden from saying or doing anything unwise. May Your voice clearly be discerned in this hour! Abba, help the Ukraine to bless their significant Jewish population, that You may then bless the Ukraine. Have mercy, in Yeshua’s name.

ALERT!!! 9. Biden's SCOTUS commission makes no recommendation on expanding court - Just The News

President Biden's Supreme Court commission is expected to vote Tuesday on whether to finalize a draft report that reportedly does not make a recommendation on whether to expand the high court. “The commission takes no position on the validity or strength" of arguments for or against increasing the number of justices, according to the draft report, obtained by NBC News.

However, the report includes text on scenarios related to expanding the high court and questions about the scope of the judiciary. The commission's decision to make no recommendation is likely to upset liberals who called for adding justices after the confirmation of Trump-appointee Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

Biden created the commission in April to study expanding the court. (Read more)
- Praise You, Holy Father! We are a bit relieved to hear that Biden’s Supreme Court Commission has made no recommendations for or against increasing the number of justices of SCOTUS. We earnestly pray that the Commission’s vote will finalize this part of their report. However, may there be nothing in the final report that would jeopardize the structure of our highest court. Have Your way, Judge of all!

10. Angela Merkel departs her post after 16 years in German politics - Just The News

Germany's first female chancellor, Angela Merkel, officially left office Tuesday, stepping away from her post after her successor Olaf Scholz signed a coalition agreement. Merkel, who was sworn in in 2005, ran and mostly governed as a center-right Christian Democrat. She was raised a communist in East Germany and became a scientist before entering the political fray.

She retired from her role one week shy of becoming Germany's longest ever leader – a record held by Helmut Kohl. She served through the tenures of four U.S. presidents, five British prime ministers, and four French leaders.

Germany is currently the epicenter of the current European wave of coronavirus cases. (Read more)

Lord, we thank you for the stabilizing force and remarkable leader that Chancellor Merkel has been, not just in Germany but within the European Union. Thank you for whatever fruit she has borne for Your kingdom. May she find Your rest and blessings in retirement and in any further service You have planned for her. We ask for Your wisdom, grace and salvation for her successor, left of center--Olaf Scholz; may he return to the Christian faith and become a trusted servant of the Living God within his sphere of influence in the trying days ahead.

- Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.  (Colossians 3:23-24)

The Pear Harbor Of This Generation

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 7, 2021

We hold this week in honor of the 80th anniversary of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor that resulted in the deaths of 2,403 Americans. This vicious act launched the United States into World War II in a death match against evil to preserve and maintain the American ideal—life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our grandfathers, grandmothers, dads and moms didn’t back down. They didn’t cower in their homes or take advantage of the less fortunate. They took it on in united fashion, undivided against a common enemy. Overnight, America became a motivated, angry nation. A sleeping giant that once awakened employed every possible resource to emerge as the standard-bearer of freedom throughout the world.

The Greatest Generation, we call them. Imagine the incredible effort to go from zero to a full-speed sprint in all aspects of life. Farmers farmed. Manufacturers produced. Inventors invented. And soldiers fiercely faced insurmountable odds against an efficient killing machine that threatened life and liberty throughout the world. The nation prayed and acted. God granted us victory. Even so, many paid the ultimate price so that you and I and our children and grandchildren could pass on the torch of Liberty one generation to the next. Never has unity been so precious and freedom so richly valued as we saw exemplified in Americans during World War II. It started with a vicious and unjust ambush. Read More

Biden Talks With Putin for 2 Hours
in Attempt to Slow March to War
The highly anticipated video conference began with a friendly wave from the American president in the Situation Room to the Russian leader, ensconced in his Black Sea mansion.
President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke for slightly more than two hours Tuesday morning at a time of a credible likelihood of imminent war in Ukraine, though it was not immediately clear whether the two leaders made any significant breakthroughs.

Russian media drew immediate attention to footage of the first few moments of the highly anticipated video call, which the Kremlin released publicly, showing Biden waving amiably to Putin as the Russian leader sat alone behind a desk at his residence in Sochi. Biden, also appearing to sit alone at a table in the White House Situation Room, stated at the onset he would have preferred to have gathered in person and said he was sorry not to have met Putin at the G20 summit, which took place in Rome in October.

The remainder of the call took place behind closed doors. The White House later released a picture from inside the Situation Room, showing members of Biden’s staff including Secretary of State Antony Blinken sitting in on the call.

“President Biden voiced the deep concerns of the United States and our European Allies about Russia’s escalation of forces surrounding Ukraine and made clear that the U.S. and our Allies would respond with strong economic and other measures in the event of military escalation,” it read.

Biden called on Putin for “de-escalation and a return to diplomacy,” and they both agreed their respective administrations will follow up. The readout added, “the U.S. will do so in close coordination with allies and partners.”

Russian state news reported that Biden also threatened Putin with sanctions if he does not deescalate the situation involving Ukraine. (USNews.com) Read more here.

- Father God, as we approach the "Russian bear" in negotiations, we ask for an unusual degree of wisdom to rest upon Biden and his advisors in knowing how and when to confront Putin for his actions in Ukraine. We understand that there are now 175,000 Russian troops poised at the border with Ukraine, so we ask for a supernatural calm to descend upon that land, that all might live in peace in this Christmas season. We ask this in Your name, amen and amen.

- " . . .  if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)
Controversial Biden banking nominee drops out of contention after bruising hearing
Saule Omarova, President Joe Biden's pick for comptroller of the currency, has withdrawn herself from consideration.

Omarova faced a blistering hearing last month in which Republicans grilled her on her controversial academic writings and proposals, including advocacy for the end of banking “as we know it.”

The Cornell Law professor told Biden in a Tuesday letter that her nomination was "no longer tenable," according to the New York Times. Omarova's allies on Capitol Hill had accused her opponents of redbaiting, given that she was born in the Soviet Union and attended Moscow State University.  (Washington Examiner) Read more

- Father God, we see this report as a direct answer to our prayer, that this nation be spared from having Saule Omarova be set in place over our banking systems. Thank You, Holy One! We give You all the praise and all the honor and all the glory for this answer to our prayers. In Your Name, amen and amen.

Nativity scene held outside Supreme Court day after abortion arguments: 'Humanity of the baby'

WASHINGTON — Dozens attended a live reenactment of Jesus’ nativity scene held outside the U.S. Supreme Court Building on Thursday, the day after the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case that could alter abortion law precedent nationwide.

The annual reenactment, organized by the Christian missionary and spiritual outreach organization Faith & Liberty, was held across the street from the East Façade of the Supreme Court.

The ceremonial event consisted of a little over a dozen impersonators dressed as biblical figures like Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus, the three wise men, angels and more to shed light on the meaning of Christmas and spread the Gospel message.

At the nativity event, pro-lifers in attendance said it is a “blessing” that Jesus’ “unplanned” birth could be displayed the day after many pro-choice demonstrators openly proclaimed their belief that mothers should have the right to end an unplanned pregnancy.

“Yesterday, the court talked about the shedding of innocent blood,” said Allan Parker, a pro-life attorney and the president of The Justice Foundation, a Christian public interest nonprofit litigation organization.

“And today, we are witnessing the reenactment of the most innocent blood in American history. Jesus shed His most innocent blood so that even murderers could be forgiven. We just have to humble ourselves and say: ‘Lord, forgive me.’”

Parker believes that the nativity scene “is cleansing the grounds that we stand on after yesterday’s event.”

Parker reasoned that because Mary was shocked to discover that she was chosen to give birth to Jesus, her pregnancy can be viewed as “unplanned” from the worldly perspective.

“Mary’s unplanned pregnancy led to the salvation of the whole world,” Parker told The Christian Post while standing outside on the stairs of the Supreme Court Building. “If Mary were alive today, Jesus might have been aborted, and then Jesus and the world would be in darkness instead of having a chance to step into the light.” (Christian Post) Read more.

Thoughts for Repentance
21 Days of Repentance

Day #18: The 4th Vial Judgment ~ Son Burn
TODAY'S REPENTANCE REFLECTION:
Judgment Vial #4 ~ Too Close to the Son?

Many people believe that Satan is simply the opposite of Christ. The word "anti-Christ" means "opposed to Christ," so I guess it is easy to assume he would appear noticeably different. But that is not how Satan operates. He's more like a fun-house carnival mirror image...a slightly distorted COUNTERFEIT. He appears like the "real deal" and as an "angel of light." This is why many people will be duped by the coming anti-Christ, the man of lawlessness, because he doesn't come with a pitchfork, horns and a red suit. Foolish Christians, without oil in their lamps, are waiting for someone with vampire fangs and a 666 stamped on his forehead. Satan is the sly, crafty and subtle snake in the Garden. He even comes quoting scripture, but with a slight twist.

In the Exodus story, the 10 plagues sent by God were each uniquely specific to targeting the Egyptian demon-gods at that time. The "sun god" of the Egyptians was named Khepri. He was also considered to be the "god of creation." He is depicted with the head of a fly. In the 4th Egyptian plague, God sent the "swarm of the flies" to show WHO REALLY was the Master "Son-God" and the Lord of all creation.

And the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.
~Exodus 8:24 (KJV)

My Jesus I Love Thee

Scripture: We love Him because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Lyrics:
My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign.
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

I love Thee because Thou has first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree.
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,
And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow,

If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
