Pastor serving the 'least of these' in places 'nobody wants to go' answers God's call
After two years of serving as a Baptist church pastor in Southern California, Kathy Huck felt God's calling to take her ministry into the streets and homeless encampments so she could foster friendships and be better suited to fulfill Jesus' call to "serve the least of these." As a former pastor at Second Missionary Baptist in Simi Valley, California, Huck followed God's call in 2018 to launch About My Father's Business, a homeless outreach ministry. Huck left her position to focus on serving people living on the street or in their cars. "I'll never forget it. I was standing on Topanga and Nordhoff, two streets in the San Fernando Valley," she told The Christian Post. "And the Lord just said, 'Pastor Huck, your ministry starts here.'"

Huck grew up going to church and was raised to have a "heart for Christ." She heard God's call to start AMFB while volunteering for Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, an organization dedicated to reducing hunger and homelessness. After meeting with a group of friends to distribute resources to the homeless, Huck felt God's presence. AMFB spends around $3,000 a month to provide various resources to individuals living on the street, such as tents, clothes and food. In addition to receiving support from individual donors, AMFB partners with other ministries, including the Hollywood Food Coalition. (Christian Post) Read More Here
Father, we praise You for ministries that focus on helping the homeless. May Your continual favor fall upon "About My Father's Business," and others, as they feed and provide for the needs of those currently living on the streets in California. We pray for divine opportunities and open hearts to share the gospel with each one. May Jesus be revealed through loving words and serving hands and feet. Multiply this church model in cities throughout our nation, that the love of Christ may be experienced across America! In Jesus Mighty Name- Amen.

"The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly, I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me." (Matthew 25:40)

Democratic challenger Adam Gray flips California's 13th Congressional District in nation's
final House race
California Democrat Adam Gray defeats incumbent Republican Rep. John Duarte by just 187 votes

Democrat Adam Gray has won California's 13th Congressional District race by a mere 187 votes, defeating incumbent Republican Rep. John Duarte, according to The Associated Press.

California's 13th Congressional District was the last seat to be called, with the district being one of the most competitive races in the Golden State. Republicans maintained the majority with 220 U.S. House seats, and Democrats at 215.

Gray was the ninth Democrat to flip a House seat in the 2024 election, while the GOP flipped eight seats – slipping the Republican majority. Three Republican members – Elise Stefanik, Michael Waltz and Matt Gaetz – were picked for the incoming Trump administration, though Gaetz withdrew his name from consideration, and it may take several months to fill those seats.

Gray, a former state legislator who represented California's 21st Assembly District from 2012 to 2022, is considered a centrist Democrat who focused on key concerns for farmers in the Central Valley like water shortages. He also campaigned on renewable energy solutions.

In a statement on X, Gray wrote that the long-awaited results were confirmation that residents were ready for "independent and accountable leadership."

"I'm honored to become the Congressman-elect for California's 13th Congressional District. The final results confirm this district is ready for independent and accountable leadership that always puts the Valley's people ahead of partisan politics," he wrote. "But the work has just begun." Supreme Court appears divided over state bans on gender transition 'treatments' for minors
The justices heard nearly two-and-a-half hours of tense oral arguments over a challenge to a Tennessee law

The Supreme Court appeared divided Wednesday over the constitutionality of state laws banning gender transition medical "treatments" for minors, a politically charged issue dealing with transgender rights. The justices heard nearly two-and-a-half hours of tense oral arguments over a challenge to a Tennessee law.

At issue is whether the equal protection clause — which requires the government to treat similarly situated people the same — prohibits states from allowing medical providers to deliver puberty blockers and hormones to facilitate a minor's transition to another sex.

Hundreds of people on both sides of the issue rallied in front of the court. Some demonstrators held signs saying, "Kids' Health Matters," while others promoted "Freedom To Be: A Celebration of Transgender Youth & Families."

The court's ruling could affect other current legal fights over transgender rights, including bathroom access and participation in scholastic sports. It could also serve as a legal template to future disputes involving the LGBTQ+ community, and whether sexual orientation is a "protected class" that deserves the same rights that involve a person's race and national origin.

The three justices appointed by former President Trump could be the key to deciding the socially divisive question. Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett asked tough questions of both sides, and Justice Neil Gorsuch did not speak during the marathon public session. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we pray over our Supreme Court justices, that their hearts would be enlightened to your truth, and that they would uphold this ban to protect our most innocent citizens, your children. Lord, this reversal seeks to hinder Your church from fulfilling your commands to help orphans, children and those in need. So we demand this evil force to cease against our children, in Jesus' name, and we pray that justice would be done in this situation.

- "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)
Please note this headline from the New York Times:

Breaking news: Supreme Court seems inclined to uphold Tennessee transgender care law
> > > We wish to honor the many saints who braved our frigid weather this morning to hold a prayer vigil on the grounds of the Supreme Court to see that the Tennessee ban on transgender treatments would be upheld. Their efforts clearly have availed much, as this session lasted a full 21/2 hours, rather than the normal one hour of hearings. Thank you!!

South Korean leader facing mounting calls to resign or be impeached over martial law
Lawmakers submitted a motion to impeach the president over his martial law declaration

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on Wednesday was facing pressure from legislators and the public to step down or be impeached after he ended a martial law, which led to troops encircling parliament, that he called for just hours earlier.

Yoon's senior advisers and secretaries offered to collectively resign. The president's Cabinet members, including Defense Minister Kim Yong Hyun, were also facing calls to resign. All members of the South Korean State Council reportedly expressed their intention to resign.

On Tuesday night, Yoon abruptly imposed martial law and pledged to eliminate "anti-state" forces after he struggled to move his agenda through the opposition-dominated parliament. The martial law, however, was only in effect for about six hours since the National Assembly voted to overrule the president's decision.

The martial law was formally lifted during a cabinet meeting at around 4:30 a.m.

Lawmakers submitted a motion to impeach the president over his martial law declaration.

The liberal opposition Democratic Party, which holds a majority in the parliament, threatened earlier in the day that its lawmakers would move to impeach the president if he did not resign immediately.

"President Yoon Suk Yeol’s martial law declaration was a clear violation of the constitution. It didn’t abide by any requirements to declare it," the Democratic Party said in a statement. "His martial law declaration was originally invalid and a grave violation of the constitution. It was a grave act of rebellion and provides perfect grounds for his impeachment." (Fox News) Read more here.

- We pray Lord for the people of South Korea that you would comfort them in this challenging time. We pray Lord that your church there would be bold to speak truth in every situation in Jesus' name. We pray, Lord, that we would not be weak, but be strong standing up for the oppressed in Jesus name. We continue to speak peace to the governments of the world, that all evil agendas would cease, in Jesus' name, amen.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. UN approves major conference in push for Palestinian state - JNS

An Israeli diplomat accused the United Nations of fixation on anti-Israel resolutions brought by the world’s worst human-rights abusers just hours before the General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution approving a high-level conference in support of the two-state solution.

On Tuesday, the General Assembly voted by a 157-8 margin, with seven abstentions, in favor of holding a conference in June 2025 aimed at adopting “an action-oriented outcome document” to “urgently chart an irreversible pathway towards the peaceful settlement” of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the implementation of a Palestinian state.

Argentina, Hungary, Israel, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea and the United States voted no. Cameroon, Czechia, Ecuador, Georgia, Paraguay, Ukraine and Uruguay abstained.

The text of the conference was annexed to a seven-page resolution condemning Israeli community-building beyond the so-called Green Line, and into eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. It also rejects any demographic or territorial change in the Gaza Strip and urges a Palestinian state to be formed along the 1949 armistice lines. (Read more)

--- Father God, we ask that You would intervene and do whatever it takes to prevent this conference from coming to pass.

2. Macron announces French-Saudi conference for Palestinian state - JNS

(Dec. 4, 2024 / JNS)

French President Emmanuel Macron announced and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will host a conference in June on the establishment of a Palestinian state, Macron announced on Tuesday.

“In the coming months, together we will multiply and combine our diplomatic initiatives to bring everyone along this path,” he said, in comments made during a visit to Saudi Arabia.

Asked whether France would recognize a Palestinian state, the French president said he would do so “at the right moment” and at a time “when it triggers reciprocal movements of recognition.

“We want to involve several other partners and allies, both European and non-European, who are ready to move in this direction but who are waiting for France” he added. (Read more)

3. Hamas Threatens to ‘Neutralize’ Hostages if Israel Launches Rescue Operation - Algemeiner

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas said it had information that Israel intended to carry out a hostage rescue operation similar to one conducted in Gaza’s Nuseirat camp in June and threatened to “neutralize” the captives if any such action took place, according to an internal statement seen by Reuters on Wednesday.

In the statement dated Nov. 22, Hamas told its operatives not to consider what the repercussions of following the instructions might be and said it held Israel responsible for the fate of the hostages.

The statement, which a senior Hamas source told Reuters was circulated to its factions by the intelligence unit of the group’s military wing Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, did not say when any Israeli operation was expected to take place.

There was no immediate Israeli response to the statement. On Wednesday, Israeli media cited Defense Minister Israel Katz as saying pressure on Hamas was increasing and this time “we will really be able to advance a hostage deal.” (Read more)

4.  Hezbollah violates ceasefire again: IAF strikes missile launcher in southern Lebanon - Israel National News

The IAF struck a launcher that was identified on Wednesday in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon.

The IDF noted that the presence of the launcher violated the agreements between Israel and Lebanon and posed a threat to the State of Israel.

Additionally, the IDF dismantled weapons that were located in the Khiam, Souaneh, and Aitaroun areas in southern Lebanon.

"The IDF remains in southern Lebanon and acts against any threat to the State of Israel," the IDF stated. (Read more)

5. Israeli ministers push to oust attorney general - JNS

(Dec. 4, 2024 / JNS)

On Tuesday, Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi unveiled a campaign to dismiss Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. The move has garnered support from 13 of the 33 members of the Cabinet.

Karhi’s letter, addressed to Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fox, accuses Baharav-Miara of “deliberately thwarting government policy for political reasons” and “inventing absurd legal impediments.”

The initiative comes almost one month after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tasked Justice Minister Yariv Levin with finding a solution to what he termed adversarial legal advice from the attorney general. (The title in Hebrew translates as “legal adviser to the government.”) [Read more]

1. Students at Ohio elementary school can participate in Satanic Temple's religious learning program - Fox News

The Satanic Temple is offering a religious learning program to students at an elementary school in Ohio as part of the state's religious release program. Students at Edgewood Elementary School in Marysville, Ohio, can attend the Hellion Academy of Independent Learning, or HAIL, starting this month under the Release Time Religious Instruction, or RTRI, program in the state, with learning opportunities being offered off-campus during school hours once a month.

Other lessons under the RTRI program, including Bible study, are also offered to students at the school. HAIL is not affiliated with or approved by the local school district or board members. HAIL seeks to strengthen students' critical thinking, good works in the community, compassion and empathy, self-directed learning and creative expression.

June Everett, the campaign director for the After School Satan Club and an ordained minister for the Satanic Temple, told WCMH that a parent reached out asking for a Satanic Temple program at the school. Everett added that the Satanic Temple only offers programs for students when parents request them, and only in districts where there are other religious release programs. (Read more)
- Lord God if this school is going to allow this then we just pray Lord for bold Christian students and parents to to come forth right now in Jesus name on this school campus that would display the power of God, the true living God like never before and that every student that would even be remotely interested in this afterschool program would become so disinterested because they had a powerful encounter with you, Lord Jesus. And we just thank you that this evil agenda will fail in Jesus name amen.

2. Australia passes landmark social media ban for children under 16 - NBC News

Australian lawmakers on Thursday approved a landmark ban on social media for children under 16in some of the world’s toughest such controls.
The ban, which aims to address the impact of excessive social media use on children’s physical and mental health, affects social media platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Reddit, but not YouTube.

The platforms, which bear sole responsibility for enforcement, have one year to figure out how to implement the age limit, which is the highest set by any country. If there are systemic failures to keep children from having accounts, the platforms are liable for fines of up to 50 million Australian dollars ($33 million).

Senators debated the legislation late into the night on the last day of their parliamentary session, which Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s center-left Labor government had targeted as the deadline for it to pass. The bill, which is also largely supported by the opposition Liberal Party, passed the House of Representatives on Wednesday by a vote of 102 to 13. (Read more)

- Lord, please grant our leaders wisdom as they navigate the complexities of social media, especially as it relates to our children. Help them to protect the hearts and minds of the next generation while also upholding our individual freedoms. Amen.

3. Map Shows Where the World Stands on Israel-Gaza Conflict - Newsweek

As a new administration is set to take control of U.S. foreign policy, Newsweek has mapped the world's stances on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, one of the biggest issues facing the international community.

President-elect Donald Trump will return to the White House in January 2025, bringing a new cabinet and a new approach to foreign policy with him. Trump has already been vocal about how he will approach the Middle East, warning Hamasthat there will be "hell to pay" if hostages are not released from Gaza.

Despite strong stances in support of Israel from the U.S. and many of its allies in the West, such as the U.K., international perspectives on the conflict in Gaza, which escalated after the October 7 attacks, remain divided, particularly among actors in the Middle East. Several countries support Palestine becoming a recognized nation, while also providing military support to Israel. Countries like the U.S., the U.K., and India follow this route. (Read more)

- Lord we know that the next Congress will be in collaboration with President Trump’s administration to play a critical role in negotiating an end to the Israel-Hamas conflict and returning the hostages to their families. So we just pray that you God would grant all leaders wisdom and discernment who are working to secure peace in Israel and the Middle East.

- “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” (Psalm 122:6-7)

4. Activists say Mexican authorities have broken up 2 migrant caravans heading to the US - Associated Press

Mexican immigration authorities have broken up two small migrant caravans headed to the U.S. border, activists said Saturday. Some migrants were bused to cities in southern Mexico, and others were offered transit papers.

The action comes a week after U.S. President-elect Donald Trump threatened to slap 25% tariffs on Mexican products unless the country does more to stem the flow of migrants to the U.S. border. On Wednesday, Trump wrote that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum had agreed to stop unauthorized migration across the border into the United States. Sheinbaum wrote on her social media accounts the same day that “migrants and caravans are taken care of before they reach the border.”

Migrant rights activist Luis García Villagrán said the breaking-up of the two caravans appeared to be part of “an agreement between the president of Mexico and the president of the United States." (Read more)

- Lord, we lift President-elect Trump up to You as he works to develop a plan to fix the United States’ broken immigration system. We pray that You would grant him and his team wisdom and discernment as they establish policies and procedures and negotiate with neighboring nations. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

- “And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,” (Philippians 1:9-10)

5. Trump seeks dismissal of Fani Willis case in Georgia - Just The News

President-elect Donald Trump's legal team on Wednesday asked the Georgia state Court of Appeals to dismissal Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis's election case against him, arguing the court has no jurisdiction in light of his election to the presidency.

Willis charged Trump and a litany of co-defendants last year under the state's RICO Act in connection with his 2020 election challenge in the Peach State. The case was marred by allegations that Willis maintained an inappropriate relationship with the special prosecutor whom she hired to pursue it.

Trump attorney Steve Sadow argued in a Wednesday filing that "A sitting president is completely immune from indictment or any criminal process, state or federal," CNN reported. “President Trump respectfully submits that upon reaching that decision, this Court should dismiss his appeal for lack of jurisdiction with directions to the trial court to immediately dismiss the indictment against President Trump," he continued. (Read more)

- Lord God, we agree with this request that all cases should be dismissed against the incoming president. We pray, Lord, that all fraud trying to fund these unlawful lawsuits against Trump and to attack him, and his presidency are canceled, null, and void and cannot come to fruition in Jesus name.

“Whoever says to the guilty, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations. But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come on them.” (Proverbs 24:24,25)

6. Trump pick for FBI director, Kash Patel, targeted in Iran cyberattack: report - Just the News

President-elect Donald Trump's pick for FBI director, Kash Patel, was targeted in an Iranian cyberattack, according to news reports. The FBI determined that Iran was behind the attack and said that there are three individuals who participated in a “hack and leak” operation, according to The Hill newspaper.

"Kash Patel was a key part of the first Trump administration’s efforts against the terrorist Iranian regime and will implement President Trump’s policies to protect America from adversaries as the FBI Director,” a Trump spokesperson said in a statement.

Iran has denied conducting a cyberattack. Last month, the DOJ filed criminal charges against Iranian officials who were allegedly involved in a plot to murder Trump.

- In the mighty name of Jesus, we take a spiritual ax, and we cut at the root of all attacks from these hostile governments against our incoming president, his administration, our agencies and the American public that their plans are canceled right now by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus' name. We pray a hedge of protection over our nation that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, in Jesus' name, amen.

The Daily Jot

Stupidocrisy: No One is Above the Law

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 4, 2024

There has been a lot of “analysis” of Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter after countless statements that he would not pardon Hunter because “no one is above the law.” There is a longstanding mantra by Democratic Party leadership saying that no one is above the law. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Adam Schiff, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith and the list goes on and on of people who claim nobody is above the law, yet they are above the law. Fact is, if you disagree with the Democratic Party and you can be brought to lawfare persecution in a democrat-controlled court or prosecutor, you will see first-hand who is above the law and who is under it. Joe Biden’s pardon of Hunter is just one example of the hypocrisy.

After nearly a decade of lawfare persecution against Donald Trump—all of which has failed to remotely prove his guilt of charges—and claiming that everybody is under the law, the Bidon pardon is a true example of the Democrat-class of law and everybody else. The White House said numerous times over the past two years that Biden would not pardon Hunter. Biden said he would not pardon Hunter. The Democrats used this commitment to demonstrate that Trump had to face his legal consequences because no one—not even the “president’s” son—is above the law. Except when he is, which is now when Biden is leaving office and all the lawfare persecution against Trump is left in shambles. But this nothing new. Read More

About Kash Patel

Written by Gary Bauer
The Right Choice

Donald Trump’s nomination of Kash Patel to lead the FBI has caused a firestorm of protest in the left-wing media and the DC Swamp. Patel is not a household name. Here’s what you need to know: He is being attacked for all the right reasons, and all the right people are terrified.

Former Deputy FBI Director and James Comey crony Andrew McCabe said Patel’s nomination was a “terrible development” that signals Trump’s intention to “disrupt” and “dismantle” the agency. What it really signals is Trump’s desire to reform the FBI. Kash Patel is being attacked for the work he did to expose the “black ops” run by the FBI against Donald Trump alleging Russia collusion. That was the central issue that so paralyzed Trump’s first term.

It was a totally contrived lie, and it was not just the work of a rogue agent or two. It was corruption that went all the way to the top, including James Comey and Andrew McCabe. Working with Devin Nunes, the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Kash Patel discovered and exposed the “black ops” that the FBI and the CIA ran against Trump and the American people during the 2016 election. And they did it again in the 2020 election.

Here’s one of the things that has the Deep State terrified.

For the past four years, the Congress of the United States has not been able to get a straight answer from FBI Director Christopher Wray about how many agents were on Capitol Hill on January 6th and what their roles were. We want their names, and we want to know if they encouraged people to go into the Capitol Building or even led people into the building.

Wray has repeatedly refused to answer any questions about the FBI’s involvement in the events of January 6th, claiming it would compromise intelligence operations. That is an absurd answer.

Drone activity near Trump Bedminster, Army arsenal spurs NJ flight restriction: FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed Tuesday it issued two flight restrictions following questionable drone activity in the area of President-elect Trump's New Jersey golf club.

On Nov. 18, the FAA first received reports of drone activity within Morris County, the border of which lies about two miles north of Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Somerset County.

Upon request from "federal security partners," the agency issued two TFRs, or temporary flight restrictions, and several reports of drone sightings continued into this week in Central Jersey.

One restriction covers an area near Solberg-Hunterdon County Airport that consists of airspace above Trump Bedminster. Flights are also banned over Picatinny Arsenal, a major U.S. Army hub in Dover, N.J., geared toward research and development via its CCDCAC armaments center.

NEW JERSEY OFFICIALS DRAFT VIP SECURITY PLAN AT BEDMINISTER AFTER ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT

The ban remains in place over Trump Bedminster for the rest of this week and over Picatinny Arsenal until Dec. 26.

"Safely integrating drones into the National Airspace System is a key priority for the FAA," the agency said in a statement Tuesday.

"We look into all reports of unauthorized drone operations and investigate when appropriate," the agency said, adding drone pilots who endanger aircraft or people can have their certification revoked and/or face $75,000 in fines. Read More
