Gen Z is More Actively Stepping Up to Fight Abortion
|
|
Last week, BBC One aired filmmaker Poppy Jay’s one-hour documentary that promised a “rare and fascinating insight” into the UK’s young pro-life adults who are “growing in confidence, profile and money”. Jay interviewed several young pro-life men and women and followed their activism on the streets of the UK. The documentary was a mostly fair and objective portrait of young pro-life activism. Jay treated her subjects with respect, though there was an underlying condescension that, to be fair to her, is inevitable in today’s pro-abortion culture.
Eden McCourt of Abortion Resistance came across especially well. Speaking to Jay about the typical portrayal of pro-life activists, Eden said: “The mainstream media makes it out that they’re all old white religious men, and we are not, we’re just normal young people doing normal things and living normal lives.” According to its website, Abortion Resistance is the “UK’s newest, youth-led, youth-focused pro-life organization… We disrupt the mainstream narratives that work to normalise abortion.” Eden and her young pro-lifers seek to engage with the public online, particularly on TikTok where she has received over 3.4 million views. Divine Consequence: UN to Push for Palestinian State in 2025
|

An Israeli diplomat accused the United Nations of fixation on anti-Israel resolutions brought by the world's worst human-rights abusers just hours before the General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a resolution approving a high-level conference in support of the two-state solution.
On Tuesday, the General Assembly voted by a 157-8 margin, with seven abstentions, in favor of holding a conference in June 2025 aimed at adopting "an action-oriented outcome document" to "urgently chart an irreversible pathway towards the peaceful settlement" of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the implementation of a Palestinian state.
Argentina, Hungary, Israel, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea and the United States voted no. Cameroon, Czechia, Ecuador, Georgia, Paraguay, Ukraine and Uruguay abstained.
The text of the conference was annexed to a seven-page resolution condemning Israeli community-building beyond the so-called Green Line, and into eastern Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria. It also rejects any demographic or territorial change in the Gaza Strip and urges a Palestinian state to be formed along the 1949 armistice lines. (Read more)

Abba, we thank You that You know perfectly well who and what is being surveilled at any point in time. We ask Holy Spirit to move across our country and garble any and all surveillance that is dishonest and being done for nefarious purposes. We ask You to protect all of Your kids from "spying eyes", whose lives are in line with Your heart for them. We also ask that any whose lives are being directed by the enemy be "found out" and held accountable for any wrongdoing. Jesus, please guide and direct us, teach us how to pray down and dismantle any demonic plans or tools that are coming against Your plan for our lives. Gives us vision to see ourselves praying from a place of complete victory, help us to ASK, HEAR and DO according to Your word. We ask this in the name of El Roi, the God who sees everything.

Russia-N Korea Strategic Partnership Treaty Takes Effect, Moscow Says

The development follows a recent U.S. decision to let Kyiv use advanced missile systems to strike targets deep inside Russian territory.
A comprehensive strategic partnership treaty between Moscow and Pyongyang has officially come into effect, Russia’s foreign ministry has confirmed.
“On Dec. 4, an exchange of instruments of ratification of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty … was held in Moscow,” the ministry said in a statement carried by Russia’s state-run TASS news agency on Dec. 5.
According to the news agency, the protocol was signed by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and his North Korean counterpart, Kim Jong Gyu.
Citing the foreign ministry, TASS said the treaty would aid in developing “a multifaceted bilateral interaction that aligns with the new, strategic level of friendship and cooperation between Russia and North Korea.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

Abba, this treaty between Russia and North Korea is troubling. We ask You to intervene in any kind of military action involving either of these countries. Father God, You know what needs to be said and done to bring our world into a place of peace and safety. We ask for Your protection over our country, allow President Trump's election to shift the minds and hearts of all nations as they consider their actions on the world stage. Allow President Trump's strength to be a barrier against quick decisions. Send Holy Spirit to all people who have authority over their country's military, speak truth to them, teach them to consider that all actions bring reactions and often consequences. Jesus, thank You that our hope is in You, not in man. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all.

2. Macron announces French-Saudi conference for Palestinian state - JNS

French President Emmanuel Macron announced and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will host a conference in June on the establishment of a Palestinian state, Macron announced on Tuesday.
“In the coming months, together we will multiply and combine our diplomatic initiatives to bring everyone along this path,” he said, in comments made during a visit to Saudi Arabia.
Asked whether France would recognize a Palestinian state, the French president said he would do so “at the right moment” and at a time “when it triggers reciprocal movements of recognition.
“We want to involve several other partners and allies, both European and non-European, who are ready to move in this direction but who are waiting for France” he added. (Read more)

3. Hamas Threatens to ‘Neutralize’ Hostages if Israel Launches Rescue Operation - Algemeiner
The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas said it had information that Israel intended to carry out a hostage rescue operation similar to one conducted in Gaza’s Nuseirat camp in June and threatened to “neutralize” the captives if any such action took place, according to an internal statement seen by Reuters on Wednesday.
In the statement dated Nov. 22, Hamas told its operatives not to consider what the repercussions of following the instructions might be and said it held Israel responsible for the fate of the hostages.
The statement, which a senior Hamas source told Reuters was circulated to its factions by the intelligence unit of the group’s military wing Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, did not say when any Israeli operation was expected to take place.
There was no immediate Israeli response to the statement. On Wednesday, Israeli media cited Defense Minister Israel Katz as saying pressure on Hamas was increasing and this time “we will really be able to advance a hostage deal.” (Read more)

4. Hezbollah violates ceasefire again: IAF strikes missile launcher in southern Lebanon - Israel National News
The IAF struck a launcher that was identified on Wednesday in Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon.
The IDF noted that the presence of the launcher violated the agreements between Israel and Lebanon and posed a threat to the State of Israel.
Additionally, the IDF dismantled weapons that were located in the Khiam, Souaneh, and Aitaroun areas in southern Lebanon.
"The IDF remains in southern Lebanon and acts against any threat to the State of Israel," the IDF stated. (Read more)

5. Israeli ministers push to oust attorney general - JNS
On Tuesday, Israeli Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi unveiled a campaign to dismiss Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. The move has garnered support from 13 of the 33 members of the Cabinet.
Karhi’s letter, addressed to Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fox, accuses Baharav-Miara of “deliberately thwarting government policy for political reasons” and “inventing absurd legal impediments.”

1. Trump Voices the Moral Clarity on Hostages the World Needs - JNS.org
The president-elect’s threat—“There will be all Hell to pay in the Middle East”—if Hamas didn’t release its captives before his inauguration sent a message to Iran.
We don’t know yet what impact President-elect Donald Trump’s bombshell statement about the fate of the Israeli hostages still held by Hamas will be. But in one post on his Truth Social site, he neatly summarized what has been lacking in terms of American leadership when it comes to the fight against Iranian-funded Islamist terrorism for the past four years. Trump’s post—with its characteristic bombastic tone and use of capital letters for emphasis—was very different from the public statements of the Biden administration foreign-policy team in recent months on the same topic or that of any other world leader. The United States has condemned Hamas, but in the last year has been primarily focused on pressuring Israel to give up its campaign to eliminate the terrorists and agree to a ceasefire with only a partial release of the hostages. 2. Hezbollah Begins Rebuilding Militarily, Financially – JNS
Iran's Lebanese terror proxy has begun restoring its capabilities after more than a year of war with Israel.
The Lebanese Shi’ite terrorist organization Hezbollah has already begun rebuilding its military capabilities and financial operations, just over a week since a ceasefire with Israel went into effect after 13 and a half months of war.
While the IDF’s aerial and ground offensives severely degraded the Iranian proxy’s terrorist infrastructure and forces, according to U.S. intelligence estimates, Hezbollah has started recruiting new fighters, boosting domestic weapons production and looking for ways to continue smuggling arms in via Syria.
Reuters cited a senior American official, an Israeli official, and two U.S. lawmakers briefed on the intelligence in its reporting published on Wednesday. According to the terms of the Nov. 27 ceasefire agreement, Hezbollah is prohibited from rearming. (Read more)

3. Why Has the World Suddenly Gone Completely Nuts – The Economic Collapse blog
Chaos is starting to erupt all over the planet. Martial law was just declared in South Korea, civil unrest is raging in the streets of Georgia, and civil war threatens to topple the Assad regime in Syria. It is almost as if someone decided to flip a switch and now vast hordes of people are going completely nuts. Unfortunately, I think that this is just the beginning, because I am convinced that civil unrest will be a major theme in 2025.
On Tuesday, the entire world was shocked by footage of crazed protesters clashing with riot police
just outside of the National Assembly in South Korea…
Shocking images showing dozens of riot cops and armed police officers pushing back enraged rioters outside the National Assembly shortly after Yoon’s address was broadcast to the nation.
Meanwhile, news cameras captured the moment helicopters descended from the evening skies and landed on top of the parliament building before troops disembarked and began locking down the location.
Other footage and pictures later showed heavily armed soldiers in tactical equipment stalking through the hallways of the National Assembly. Parliamentary aides were seen trying to push the soldiers back by spraying fire extinguishers.
The president of Sorth Korea imposed martial law in a desperate attempt to quell the unrest, but he was forced to end it after just six hour.
We have never seen anything quite like this in South Korea. Normally, South Koreans are so calm. Are North Korean operatives responsible for stirring up trouble? Could it be possible that the Chinese are behind the unrest?

5. Most Americans Want J6ers Pardoned, as 68 Percent of Dems Support Case by Case Reviews if Pardons Go Forward – The Gateway Pundit
As the political narrative this week shifts to presidential pardons after President Joe Biden gave his son Hunter Biden a generous one on Sunday, many Americans wonder whether President-elect Donald Trump will use that power upon taking office for those who protested at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
The “J6ers” — over 1,500 Trump-supporting Americans charged with federal crimes by their government for supposedly attempting an insurrection that day — have met a variety of punishments, with some receiving lengthy prison sentences and even solitary confinement.
A new Rasmussen poll indicated 49 percent — almost half — of voters would favor Trump pardoning J6ers on a case-by-case basis. Newsmax highlighted one astounding statistic in their report on that poll — even 68 percent of the Democrats polled favor handling the J6ers on a case-by-case basis. The poll was conducted Nov. 25-26 and included 879 likely U.S. voters. The margin of error was +/- 3 percentage points with 95 percent level of confidence.
Americans know Jan. 6 is a weapon of propaganda. The facts do not add up to the left’s narrative, as only one person died — an unarmed woman shot by a police officer — and the vast majority of those present were peaceful.

Also we note the unknown crowd instigators urging them to go in. Most of them were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. We pray that Justice will be served, and that President elect Donald Trump will make that judgment to release the J6 prisoners that caused no harm. May your will be done in this situation. The Trump Effect

You know things really have gotten off track when a president-elect is running the presidency like he already has taken office. Case in point is President-elect Donald Trump. His meetings, announced appointments, and public statements are having a tremendous impact all around the world and he hasn’t taken office, but it seems like he has. Global financial markets have responded positively not only to news of his election, but also to his appointments that would impact the economy. Stock markets and general reaction to appointments has taken a turn for the better since the election. There is great promise on the horizon in foreign policy as well with three major indicators of better days ahead.
Trump announced that he would order extensive 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada if the two countries did not move to fix illegal immigration, crime and drugs crossing from those countries into the United States. Immediately, Joe Biden took issue and publicly stated that he wished Trump would reconsider. The immediate reaction from Mexican leftist President Claudia Sheinbaum was to escalate a tariff war with retaliation. Within days, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew to Trump’s home to discuss the matter. Trump also talked via phone with Sheinbaum, who has backed off her tariff for tariff stance and is now agreeing to stop a migrant caravan heading to the US. Trudeau said that Trump doesn’t make a threat unless he is prepared to carry it out and that he (Trudeau) will work with Trump to find positive solutions for both countries. Read More

French Government Ousted in No-Confidence Vote

Prime Minister Michel Barnier was ousted from office after parties from the left and right of French politics united following his controversial forced budget.

France’s government was ousted after lawmakers voted in favor of a no-confidence motion on Dec. 4. The National Assembly passed the no-confidence motion with 331 votes, surpassing the 288-vote simple majority needed.
This is the first time in six decades that a government of the Fifth Republic has fallen in such fashion.
The move has set the eurozone’s second-biggest economy sailing on a course bound for political and economic turbulence.
The no-confidence vote removes Michel Barnier from his role as prime minister. French President Emmanuel Macron appointed Barnier to the position in September.
Barnier encountered resistance in the weeks that followed as he pushed a financial plan aimed at curbing France’s budget deficit. In a last appeal before the vote, Barnier said the deficit “will not disappear by the magic of a motion of censure.” (The Epoch Times)

- Lord God, we see You shaking both the earth and governments! We pray for President Macron and ask for Your wisdom for him as he considers the replacement of the Prime Minister. We also pray for wisdom and the best strategies in stabilizing the French national debt and achieving a healthy economy. May Macron act in accordance with Your will as Your people intercede for him, and may he find favor with the French citizens and other governmental parties.
Until stasis is achieved, we ask for a supernatural calmness to fall upon the markets to prevent further financial strain and upheaval. ‘It’s insane.’ How rattled Northern Californians weathered 7.0 earthquake and tsunami warning

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake was reported off the coast of Northern California on Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The epicenter of the "strong" quake was off the coast near Petrolia, in Humboldt County, the USGS said.
Also, a tsunami warning that had been issued for coastal areas in California and Oregon, including San Francisco, was canceled just before noon local time.
Items flew off shelves, cellphones blared with tsunami warnings and some people struggled to stay on their feet as a magnitude 7 earthquake rocked Northern California on Thursday.
“I have fireplaces flying forward,” said Olivia Cobian, the innkeeper at the Gingerbread Mansion, a bed-and-breakfast in the historic town of Ferndale, as sirens wailed in the background Thursday morning. “It’s insane.”
Her building, built in 1895, “looked like a war zone” after the shaking stopped.
“Claw tubs that had been lifted off [their mounts] and scooched over,” she said. “This is crazy.”
Centered under the Pacific Ocean about 70 miles southwest of Eureka, the quake frayed nerves across most of California’s North Coast. - Merciful Father! We are so thankful that this shaking did not result in any reported injuries and that the tsunami warning was canceled early on after the 7.0 earthquake off shore of northern California yesterday. You are so merciful, dear Abba! It was so good to see residents responding to instructions and evacuating low-lying areas until the tsunami warning was rescinded. We thank You that this evacuation was more like a drill, informing officials and individuals about what programs worked and what didn’t. May changes in protocols and procedures be made as indicated. We also ask for help with labor and materials needed for any structural damages that occurred to homes and businesses, as well as to any infrastructure.
Abba, we have all heard that the “big one” [quake] is coming to the west coast sooner or later. We earnestly pray for revival to break out all over California that people may be in right relationship with You through Your Son, Jesus, before this big quake or quakes manifests. May the Church of California grow and prosper beyond anything we can ask, think or imagine!!!

The Mysterious Disappearance of Flight 19

It began as nothing more than a routine training flight. At 2:10 p.m. on December 5, 1945, five TBM Avenger torpedo bombers took off from a Naval Air Station in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The planes—collectively known as “Flight 19”—were scheduled to tackle a three-hour exercise known as “Navigation Problem Number One.”
Their triangular flight plan called for them to head east from the Florida coast and conduct bombing runs at a place called Hens and Chickens Shoals. They would then turn north and proceed over Grand Bahama Island before changing course a third time and flying southwest back to base. Save for one plane that only carried two men, each of the Avengers was crewed by three Navy men or Marines, most of whom had logged around 300 hours in the air. The flight’s leader was Lieutenant Charles C. Taylor, an experienced pilot and veteran of several combat missions in World War II’s Pacific Theater.
At first, Flight 19’s hop proceeded just as smoothly as the previous 18 that day. Taylor and his pilots buzzed over Hens and Chickens Shoals around 2:30 p.m. and dropped their practice bombs without incident. But shortly after the patrol turned north for the second leg of its journey, something very strange happened. For reasons that are still unclear, Taylor became convinced that his Avenger’s compass was malfunctioning and that his planes had been flying in the wrong direction. The troubles only mounted after a front blew in and brought rain, gusting winds and heavy cloud cover.
