Ben Carson: Donald Trump Gains His Strength From God
|

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth,” (Ps. 121:1-2).
When we trust and follow the Lord, He will give us the strength and the ability to do so much more than we ever could have hoped for, thought or imagined. Sometimes, God gives us the supernatural ability to do so much than we can humanly do on our own power.
At a recent Turning Point USA event, Dr. Ben Carson shared the story of a conversation he had with Donald Trump and how the president-elect says he refuels and recharges to get things done. “Two weeks ago, I was with President Trump, and I said, ‘What are you taking to give you all this energy because I need some of it,'” Carson says. “And he said, ‘You may be surprised…’ he said, ‘It’s God.'” Prior to Carson’s story on Trump, he also encouraged audiences to pursue godly living. Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States and a former peanut farmer whose vision of a "competent and compassionate" government propelled him into the White House, died at his home in Plains, Georgia, on Sunday, the Carter Center confirmed. He was 100.
The news was first reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, shortly before the Carter Center, the late president's nonprofit organization, made an announcement on X. "Our founder, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, passed away this afternoon in Plains, Georgia," the organization's post read.
His specific cause of death was unclear. Carter's death followed the passing of his wife Rosalynn on Nov. 19, 2023. She died at the age of 96 with her family by her side at the Carter home in Plains, just days after she had been admitted to hospice care.
Funeral details were still being planned, but the Carter Center announced he would be buried in Plains following public observances in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. The family encouraged donations to the Carter Center in lieu of flowers. (Fox News) Read more here.

Democrat Lawyers Call for Congress to Block Trump from Taking Office
|
|
Two Democrat lawyers called for Congress to block President-elect Donald Trump from taking office in an op-ed published by the Hill on Thursday, prompting disbelief and ridicule from Republicans.
In the piece titled “Congress has the power to block Trump from taking office, but lawmakers must act now,” lawyers Evan A. Davis and David M. Schulte argued that the Constitution says an insurrectionist is ineligible to be president and “the evidence of Donald Trump’s engaging in such insurrection is overwhelming.”
They argued that the “matter has been decided in three separate forums” — one of which they said was the Rep. Nancy Pelosi-appointed January 6th Committee — which a recent House Republican review into the committee concluded was “designed to promote a political narrative” and a “tool to attack President Trump.” Read more

Jack Smith's Team Lawyers Up; "Hunter" Becomes "Hunted"

Members of former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution team are reportedly hiring lawyers and preparing for possible legal action by incoming President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice, according to the Rolling Stone.
The magazine reported this week:
According to two sources with knowledge of the matter and a former Justice Department official, several attorneys and staffers who were on the special counsel’s Justice Department team, or had done work for its criminal investigations into Trump, have already sought legal counsel or retained personal lawyers — in case the former and now future president and his incoming administration follow through on his desire to probe or even prosecute his enemies.
One of the sources with knowledge of the situation tells Rolling Stone that multiple people who worked with Smith and his core team have preemptively reviewed their private and professional communications, to make sure they hadn’t written anything that could be subpoenaed, publicly revealed, and used against them to paint a narrative of alleged misconduct or supposed anti-Trump bias. DOJ Again Uses Classified Information Procedures Act to Cover for Possible Malfeasance in Iran Trump Assassination Plot
|
|
Headline USA reports that last Friday, the Justice Department indicated they are ready to keep classified information secret in the case of the Pakistani man indicted for allegedly trying to hire two hit men to kill President-elect Trump in an Iranian state-sponsored assassination plot.
Asif Merchant attempted to hire two purported hit men to take out Trump, however, they were actually two undercover FBI agents introduced to him by one of their informants. As was seen in the “attempted kidnapping” case of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer several years ago, the assassination “plot” seems rather dubious. The case gives the appearance that Merchant was “an unwitting dupe in an FBI sting operation,” Headline USA reported.
The evidence being withheld by the Justice Department would appear to prove if Merchant was a legitimate assassin or an FBI dupe, which lends suspicion to the “facts” of the case. The fact the Justice Department is attempting to withhold the information only adds to those who believe this is another case of the FBI using underhanded tactics to pursue someone. After the lengths the FBI went to indict any Trump supporters within a mile of the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, is it any wonder why there is some suspicion of their motives in this case?
In a Friday motion, the Justice Department said it intends to exercise Section 4 of the Classified Information Procedures Act, which permits the government to keep state secrets…secret even if they negatively impact the rights of a criminal defendant. Read more

Musk and Ramaswamy Ignite MAGA War Over Skilled Immigration and American "Mediocrity"

Trump world warriors Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have ignited an intra-MAGA battle with their proposals to increase immigration visas for high-skill workers.
Musk and Ramaswamy, who have been tapped by President-elect Donald Trump to lead his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), argued that American culture has not prioritized education enough, and therefore foreign workers are needed for tech companies like Musk’s SpaceX and Tesla.
The pair saw their conservative sway skyrocket throughout the 2024 election as they grew closer to Trump, but the wealthy businessmen now find themselves butting heads with Trump’s most ardent base that wants to see Trump make good on promises of immigration restrictions and promoting the U.S. labor force. 1. Netanyahu: There's no hostage deal because Hamas doesn't want one - Jerusalem Post
A ceasefire and hostage deal had not been reached yet because Hamas “does not want there to be a deal,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in the weekly government meeting on Sunday.
During the meeting, the ministers attending were given a very limited briefing on the hostage deal talks.“The situation is less optimistic,” ministers told The Jerusalem Post.
The message conveyed to ministers was that “the negotiations for the hostage deal were stuck,” with Hamas “constantly trying to change direction in the talks.” (Read more)

2. IDF completes raid on north Gaza hospital, says some 240 terror suspects arrested -Times of Israel
The Israeli military said on Saturday that it had completed an operation against Hamas at northern Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital and the surrounding area.
Some 240 suspected terror operatives were detained, including the medical center’s director and 15 terrorists who participated in the October 7, 2023, onslaught on southern Israel.
The Israel Defense Forces, which last operated against Hamas at Kamal Adwan in October, said the operation was launched because the hospital had “once again become a key stronghold for terrorist organizations and continues to be used as a hideout for terrorist operatives.” (Read more)

3. Israeli Forces Order New Evacuation of Besieged Northern Gaza Town, Residents Say - Algemeiner
Israeli forces carrying out a weeks-long offensive in northern Gaza ordered any residents remaining in Beit Hanoun to leave the town on Sunday, citing Palestinian terrorist rocket fire from the area, residents said. The instruction to leave has caused a new wave of displacement, although it was not immediately clear how many people were affected, the residents said.
Israel says its almost three-month-old campaign in northern Gaza is aimed at Hamas terrorists and preventing them from regrouping. Its instructions to civilians to evacuate are meant to keep them out of harm’s way, the military says.
Palestinian and United Nations officials say no place is safe in Gaza and that evacuations worsen the humanitarian conditions of the population. Much of the area around the northern towns of Beit Hanoun, Jabalia and Beit Lahiya has been cleared of people and razed, fueling speculation Israel intends to keep the area as a closed buffer zone after the fighting in Gaza ends. 4. Netanyahu to undergo prostate surgery Sunday - JNS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will undergo surgery on Sunday to have his prostate removed.
Last Wednesday, Netanyahu, 75, underwent an examination at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, during which a urinary tract infection caused by a benign prostate enlargement was identified.
He has since been treated with antibiotics, effectively resolving the infection. The premier is scheduled to undergo a procedure to remove his prostate.
The statement added that Sunday’s weekly Cabinet meeting will first take place as planned. (Read more)

5. Israel to submit report to UN adviser about Hamas torture of hostages - JNS
Israeli Health Ministry will submit a report, which details the “torture and atrocities experienced by Israeli hostages since Oct. 7” including “abhorrent instances of sexual violence,” in the “next few days” to Alice Jill Edwards, the U.N. special rapporteur on torture, the Israeli mission to the global body told JNS on Saturday.
“The United Nations and the international community are trying to forget the torture and atrocities that took place on Oct. 7,” stated Danny Danon, the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations. “We will never forget the horrors and we will not stop until we return all the hostages home.”
The report will include “many testimonies of the hostages who returned from Hamas captivity” and “descriptions of the horrors Hamas terrorists inflicted on the hostages, including sexual abuse, starvation, neglect and humiliation,” the Israeli mission told JNS.
The Israeli Health Ministry stated that the report contains two parts. (Read more)

1. CDC says virus found in bird flu patient in Louisiana may cause disease to be transmitted to humans – Just the News
A patient in Louisiana who was hospitalized with the bird flu has a genetic analysis conducted that showed a virus in the patient could potentially make the disease more transmittable to humans.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed this case earlier this month and said the patient who got the disease likely got it from coming in contact with sick and dead birds.
The patient has a strain called D1.1 which is close to viruses circulating in wild birds and poultry in the U.S.
The analysis released earlier this week said that the mutations from the disease might increase the possibilities of the bird flu impacting humans. Read more

2. Adam Schiff introduces bill to prevent presidents from dismissing charges against them - Just the news
Congressman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., introduced a bill on Friday that would serve as a counterpunch to a Supreme Court ruling stipulating that Donald Trump was immune from prosecution for official acts during his presidency.
Schiff dubbed his bill the Investigative Integrity Protection Act, and it requires a three-judge panel to determine whether a president, or anyone acting on his or her behalf, would be able to dismiss criminal charges against him- or herself.
If passed, the legislation would also require a court to determine whether an attorney general was appointed for the purpose of dismissing charges against a president, and the U.S. Department of Justice would be asked to investigate such allegations and report its findings to Congress.
“Several years ago, we witnessed alarming attempts by a sitting president to obstruct justice and evade accountability,” Schiff said in a statement announcing the introduction of the bill, which was co-sponsored by seven Democrats.
The bill appears to be a reaction to protests at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and accusations that Trump sought to undermine the results of the 2020 election, which resulted in a legal case against him. Read more

3. Biden Shelled Out $80,000,000,000 For IRS Enforcement. Congress Has Already Revoked Half Of It -- Daily Caller
Congress rescinded tens of billions of dollars from a government agency in December that Republicans have long accused of being weaponized against taxpayers and corporations.
Lawmakers’ stopgap spending bill, signed into law by President Joe Biden on Dec. 20 to fund the government through March 2025, notably cut $20 billion in supplemental funding for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Republican lawmakers opposed Biden and congressional Democrats doling out $80 billion in supplemental funding to the IRS to bolster enforcement actions and the hiring of IRS agents in 2022, and have worked to claw back billions of this funding over the course of several spending bills.
“I think it was very wise of Republicans to include that [$20 billion rescission in IRS funding] in the package,” John Kartch, vice president of communications at Americans for Tax Reform, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This is 20 billion we should never spend. By kicking it out, it means the Trump administration is never going to spend it.”
The rescission in IRS funding follows prior action from lawmakers in June 2023 and May to claw back parts of the $80 billion in supplemental funding shelled out to the IRS under Biden and Democratic lawmakers’ 2022 Inflation Reduction Act. Read more

4. Early projection adds U.S. House seat for North Carolina- Just The News
North Carolina population has exceeded an estimated 11 million, remains ninth largest of the 50 states, and is fourth largest in growth for 2023 and 2024.
According to one analysis, it is poised to add another seat in the U.S. House of Representatives at the next decennial reapportionment. The South as a whole is projected to add nine and possibly 10, with California (four), the Blue Wall states (two) and New York (two) taking reductions, the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law says.
In a release, the U.S. Census Bureau estimates North Carolina population on July 1 of this year at 11,046,024. That’s up from 10,439,388 at the last decennial census with a date of April 1, 2020.
California (39.4 million), Texas (31.2 million), Florida (23.3 million), New York (19.8 million), Pennsylvania (13 million), Illinois (12.7 million), Ohio (11.8 million) and Georgia (11.1 million) are larger, the Census Bureau says. Michigan (10.1 million) rounds out the top 10.
From July 1, 2023, to July 1 of this year, the bureau says North Carolina’s estimated gain of 164,835 trails only Texas (562,941), Florida (467,347) and California (232,570). The 1.5% growth percentage is eighth best. Read more

5. Biden-Harris Administration Wishes Everyone a ‘Happy Kwanzaa’ - Breitbart
The Biden-Harris White House has wished Americans a “Happy Kwanzaa” — a holiday invented in 1966 by a racist extremist who served prison time for torturing a woman.
Vice President Kamala Harris — who was born just two years before the holiday’s inception — claimed in 2020 that she and her family used to gather around, “across multiple generations,” and discuss Kwanzaa’s “seven principles” — which are identical to the principles of left-wing terrorist organization Symbionese Liberation Army.
Harris wrote on X in 2020 that her family’s “Kwanzaa celebrations are one of my favorite childhood memories,” garnering thousands of critical comments pointing out that the holiday’s founder, Maulana Karenga (born Ronald McKinley Everett, pictured above), was a violent radical:

6. Rand Paul Releases Report Detailing $1,000,000,000,000 In Gov’t Waste. Here Are The Worst Offenders – Daily Caller
Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul released a report on Monday outlining more than $1 trillion in government waste from the past year.
The 2024 “Festivus” report highlighted various instances of wasteful government spending from the federal government, including a pickleball complex in Las Vegas and a cabaret show on ice. This year marks Paul’s 10th annual report.
“This year, I am highlighting a whopping $1,008,313,329,626.12,” Paul wrote in the report. “That’s over $1 trillion in government waste, including things like ice-skating drag queens, a $12 Million Las Vegas pickleball complex, $4,840,082 on Ukrainian influencers, and more! No matter how much money the government has wasted, politicians keep demanding even more.”
The Department of the Interior (DOI) spent $12 million on a Las Vegas Pickleball Complex, according to the report. The DOI also spent $720,479 on wetland conservation projects for ducks in Mexico. Read more

Exposing the Darkness

It is amazing how the United States has been transformed from the darkness of evil since the presidential election in November. From court decisions to government reports, areas of injustice that were condoned and forced upon Americans are being exposed for the evil they are. This growing phenomena is reflective of when the righteous stand in the gap on behalf of what is right and good, the LORD’s hand is mighty. There has been a shift that took place the day that Donald Trump was saved from an assassin’s bullet. Truly a “hand of God” moment recognized by many. Trump’s iconic response of standing tall and shaking his fist in the air shouting “Fight, Fight, Fight,” fractured a principality.
It’s not only the newfound energy of hope that is being experienced by those of us who felt the oppression of the rulers of darkness over us, there’s something much deeper that is shaking the timbers of tyranny at its foundation. Court decisions have exonerated those who were targeted with false election interference charges; restored the rights of some who were discriminated against during COVID; overturned lawfare against Trump and others; halted government overreach efforts; and exposed politically-motivated judges and prosecutors. The US justice system is slow, but eventually it serves the people. The timing is interesting that these decisions are now culminating years after they occurred.

President-elect Trump appeared to agree with Elon Musk in support of H-1B visas for skilled workers in the U.S., as the right spars on the ongoing immigration debate.
"I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them," Trump told the New York Post Saturday.

NPS urges caution amid Kilauea's volcanic activity after 'shocking scene'
|
|
|
The National Park Service is cautioning spectators to heed warnings and safety precautions after the latest eruption of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, one of the most active in the world.
Kilauea began erupting on Monday, marking its third eruption of 2024 and its eighth since 2020, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Since then, there was another distinctive eruptive episode on Wednesday, and the eruption resumed Thursday evening, the agency said.
The volcanic activity has drawn visitors to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island to watch the lava glow, with one "shocking scene" prompting the National Park Service to issue a safety advisory.
A toddler wandered off from his family Wednesday night into a closed area at Kilauea Overlook and "in a split second, ran straight toward the 400-foot cliff edge," the National Park Service said in a news release on Thursday.
"His mother, screaming, managed to grab him in the nick of time just a foot or so away from a fatal fall," the agency said. "Disaster was averted, and the shaken family departed."
Park officials are now reminding visitors to remain on trails, stay out of closed areas and keep their children close, especially those watching Kilauea along the Crater Rim Trail. Read More
