Biden Plans to Deploy Military, Distribute 500 Million
Tests Amid COVID-19 Omicron Wave

President Joe Biden’s administration is planning to mail out some 500 million COVID-19 tests, starting in January, according to the White House.

The White House on Tuesday said it will send the test kits to homes as part of an effort to deal with the Omicron COVID-19 variant, which the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday said accounts for about 73 percent of cases in the United States. It’s not clear yet whether the variant causes more severe disease than previous variants, although fewer than a dozen deaths have been reported worldwide.

“Today, the President is announcing his Administration will purchase a half-billion at-home, rapid tests this winter to be distributed for free to Americans who want them, with the initial delivery starting in January 2022,” the White House said in a press statement.

Additional federal test sites will also be set up across the United States in the coming days, starting in New York City, according to the White House, in a bid to help “states that need additional testing capacity.”

In the press release, the White House confirmed it will send 1,000 members of the military such as military doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other medical personnel to hospitals in January and February.

Six emergency response teams with more than 100 staff members are also being sent to Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Arizona, New Hampshire, and Vermont, said the White House. Meanwhile, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) response teams will be sent to add capacity to hospitals in some states, and the federal government is “paying for all of it,” the statement added.

“This is on top of the 300 federal medical personnel that we have deployed since we learned about Omicron,” the news release said. (Read more)

- Father, we put this administration in Your Mighty hands so that You can deal with them.  Bring them into alignment with Your plans and purposes and may repentance be the cry of the day.  In Jesus name, we silence the threats and agitation over our military being deployed across our own nation.  May this Holy Season be a time for growing our God-given, covenant relationship from this earth to Your throne.  Come, let us adore You!

- " . . . He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When He hears it, He will answer you."  (Isaiah 30:19b)

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israeli companies exported cruise missiles to China without permit - Jerusalem Post

Three Israeli companies and 10 suspects were indicted on Monday after they were found to have exported cruise missiles to China without a permit.
The Economic Department of the State Attorney informed the suspects that it would be filing an indictment on charges of committing security offenses, offenses in the field of weapons, offenses under the Defense Export Control Law, offenses under the Anti Money Laundering Law and more.

Ephraim Menashe, the owner of the Solar Sky company, which manufactures cruise missiles, among other things, brokered a deal with entities from China who were competing for a tender to provide cruise missiles to the Chinese military. (Read More)

2. IDF begins allowing troops to shoot at fleeing rock-throwers - Times of Israel

The Israeli military has revised its open-fire policies for the West Bank, officially allowing troops to shoot at Palestinians who had thrown rocks or firebombs at cars, even if the assailants no longer present an immediate threat.

The policy change was first reported by Israel’s Kan broadcaster on Sunday night, and was later confirmed to The Times of Israel by a military spokesperson, who said it had been in effect for the past month or so.

While the spokesperson described the change as a corrective to a situation that allowed suspects to evade justice, experts raised questions over the legality of using lethal force against a person who no longer poses a threat. (Read More)

3. In world first, Israel set to give 4th COVID shot to over 60s, at-risk groups - Times of Israel

Israel is set to begin offering a fourth COVID-19 vaccine shot for over 60s, some at-risk groups and medical personnel, in line with a recommendation Tuesday from a panel of health experts.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett welcomed the recommendation and ordered that officials prepare a campaign to distribute the vaccines, meaning Israel is likely to become the first country in the world to roll out a fourth dose for certain groups.

The experts, a government body called the Pandemic Treatment Staff, recommended that medical personnel, adults over the age of 60 and other at-risk groups get the fourth dose, after waiting at least four months since the third dose. (Read More)

4. Israel sees intermittent flooding, collapsed trees as Carmel winds down - YNET News

On the first day of winter, parts of Israel were flooded due to heavy precipitation and several trees were uprooted due to strong winds as the Carmel storm has entered its second day on Tuesday.

In one instance, students at the Sharet elementary school in the northern town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur had to be evacuated after one of the establishment's classrooms was flooded by heavy rainfall.

Staff constructed a makeshift bridge using desks to secure a safe path for students who were studying at the time in one of the school's portable structures and were all evacuated safely.

Eran Khoury, the head of the school's parent-teacher association called on the school board and authorities to "learn from the incident so our children can learn safely in such downpours in the future." (Read More)

5. Archbishop of Canterbury Suggests Israel to Blame for Decline in Christian Palestinians - United with Israel

Church of England head Justin Welby has issued a grave warning about the future of Christians living in the Holy Land, in an article published on December 19 in the Sunday Times.

The piece, which was jointly authored with Palestinian Anglican Bishop Hosam Naoum, was penned in response to a statement earlier this month from church leaders in Jerusalem, who warned the actions of radical groups are “diminishing the Christian presence” in the area.

Such acts, they contend, have included the desecration of churches, as well as physical and verbal attacks on priests, monks and worshipers. (Read More)

1. Trump to hold news conference on anniversary of deadly attack on US Capitol - Fox News

Former President Trump announced he will hold a news conference at his south Florida resort and residence early next month. "I will be having a news conference on January 6th at Mar-a-Lago," he said Tuesday in a statement released by Save America, one of his political committees.

Jan. 6, 2022 will mark one year since the storming of the U.S. Capitol by right-wing extremists and other supporters of Trump, who aimed to disrupt congressional certification of now President Biden's Electoral College victory over Trump in the 2020 election.

The Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol came soon after the president urged a large crowd of supporters he addressed at a rally near the White House to march to the Capitol and show strength in protesting the certification of the election by Congress. Five people – four protesters and a Capitol Police officer – died in the riot. (Read more)
Lord God, You know what President Trump intends both to do and to accomplish in this January 6th news conference. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance for him and his staff as he prepares and sets the agenda. If this briefing was not Your choice, we ask that You cause President Trump to cancel this event. We continue to pray for all truth to come forth regarding January 6th within Your venue and timing. Father, please release those still wrongly imprisoned because of that incident; send angels to encourage them and supernaturally provide all medicine and food until they are set free.

2. New York Governor Intends to Redefine ‘Fully Vaccinated’ to Include Boosters - The Epoch Times

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said the state may sooner or later change the definition of “full vaccinated” to include a booster dose. Hochul, whose broad mask mandate for New York businesses just came into effect, was asked during a Dec. 16 press briefing what’s next on the list of things she seeks to implement. She replied that her office would ask businesses to only admit people who are fully vaccinated inside.

“I have said all along I have two missions. One is to protect the health of the people of New York. The second is to protect the health of the economy. Right now we can do both, to the extent that businesses follow what we ask them, only allowing people who are vaccinated,” Hochul said. (Read more)

Father, You know where the Left would like to lead us and why; and it is not down a primrose path. It is an ever-widening path of bondage and subservience to governmental decrees and a huge loss of our personal, God-given freedoms. Jesus, expose the true and evil motives and deceptions of these wannabe-dictators who talk down to U.S. citizens and boast of their superior knowledge, attempting to force us into submission to their will. May The Truth set us free, and may we walk only in obedience to Your will!

3. Three vaccine doses not enough to withstand Omicron, BioNTech CEO warns - Just The News

COVID-19 vaccines will be insufficient to combat the Omicron variant, according to the head of the German company that produced the mRNA vaccine with Pfizer. “We must be aware that even triple-vaccinated are likely to transmit the disease," BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin told the French newspaper Le Monde in an interview published this week. "It is obvious we are far from 95% effectiveness that we obtained against the initial virus."

Sahin, a German immunologist, added the vaccine will become less effective against Omicron with time but that it's too early to make any concrete forecasts.

Testing for COVID-19 is still important, especially for the elderly and during the winter, as is mask-wearing, according to Sahin. "Otherwise," he explained, "we will not be able to control the rapid expansion of this new variant." (Read more)

- Precious Lord, we strongly come against this push to make yet another injection available on top of all the other shots.  We bind up the fear that is behind this and also the confusion that is following it.  We see what happens when man does not consult God the Creator of the Universe before first endeavoring to find a solution to the spread of this virus.  We pray that You would deliver us from the oppression of constant government-mandated pharmaceutical remedies to reach a better of degree of health among the population.

4. Microchip embedded in skin can be scanned for COVID vaccine passport status - Washington Examiner

Swedish tech startup Epicenter has developed microchip technology that may be used to store and display a person's vaccination status, a video from the South China Morning Post shows.

The outlet's video went viral last week, currently boasting 2.4 million views on Twitter. The video features DSruptive CEO Hannes Sjöblad, who founded the Swedish Association of Biohackers. Sjöblad demonstrates how Epicenter's microchip, embedded in the skin, can be scanned for data, including one's vaccination status.

The company has been developing the technology used in the chip for years. The chip can be implanted in the arm or between the index finger and thumb, and the procedure to implant the rice-sized device is completely reversible, the company says. Epicenter is known for throwing parties when employees "get chipped," according to the video. (Read more)

- Oh, Lord, we push aback against this new method which is being considered as a "tracking" device to spy on and control the activities of individuals.  We come against the seemingly helpful things touted about this which can easily turn into a controlling device.  Lord, we ask that You provide wise leaders and scientists who can keep records without the danger to our freedoms and liberties we now enjoy.

5. Biden Gives Business 20K More Foreign Workers to Hire as 13M Americans are Jobless - Brietbart

In an announcement on Monday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said he has approved an additional 20,000 H-2B visas to provide non-agricultural businesses with more foreign workers. About 13,500 of the visas are allocated for foreign workers who have previously been approved for H-2B visas and the other 6,500 are for nationals of Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

DHS is taking action to protect American businesses and create opportunities that will expand lawful pathways to the United States for workers from the Northern Triangle countries and Haiti,” Mayorkas said in a statement.

The expansion of the labor market by the Biden administration comes as 6.9 million Americans are unemployed, including 11.2 percent who are teenagers looking for entry-level jobs, but all of whom want full-time work.

Another 5.9 million Americans are out of the labor force entirely but want full-time jobs, and 4.3 million Americans remain underemployed — working part-time jobs while seeking full-time employment. (Read more)

 - Father God, it is an offense to hear that our own government is favoring foreign workers and making it harder for Americans to get and keep good jobs.  We strongly come against this move to strengthen other alien groups at the expense of American citizens.  We pray this ploy will not work and that Your blessings particularly will be on the American workforce.  Thank you for defeating this plan and removing all who are likeminded.

- "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."  (1 Timothy 5:8)

Biden's Fear Porn Industry

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 21, 2021

Joe Biden is giving another speech using fear porn to further divide the American people along the lines of those who have taken the government-sponsored COVID 19 serum and those who have not. Biden already has said that the “unvaccinated,” as he calls them, are facing a winter of death and sickness. One has to wonder if this is a statement of concern for the unvaccinated or a Christmas wish. Let us be clear. The emergency use authorized shot does protect against severe illness and death of COVID 19. It does not guarantee that one will not contract or transmit the disease. In fact, the vaccinated are responsible for shedding the Delta and Omicron variants to others. Do not fear what Biden says.

The general population has a 99% chance of surviving COVID 19 and its weaker, yet more transmissible variants. Those over 60 are impacted most by the disease, but even they fall prey to a Catch 22. The mRNA vaccine may prevent severe illness or death in their age group, but it also has many known side effects of which seniors should be very cautious. Additionally, the younger the age group, the less likely COVID 19 or its variants will claim their lives. Therefore, the higher the risk of the long-term side effects, such as myocarditis and blood clots. The International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research (IJVTPR) states that the mRNA may last long enough in the body to cause autoimmune disorders, neurodegeneration, and long-term permanent damage to the spleen, kidney and brain. So beware. Read More

Freed Missionaries Tell How They
Escaped Haitian Kidnappers
Kidnapped Missionaries Made Daring Escape from Their Captors, Fled for Their Lives on Foot at Night

Christian Aid Ministries is revealing the stunning details of how their missionaries finally escaped captivity in Haiti, and it sounds like something straight out of a movie. The remaining group of 12 missionaries made a daring overnight escape last week, eluding their kidnappers and walking for miles over difficult, moonlit terrain with an infant and other children in tow. The group used the stars as their guide to reach freedom after a two-month kidnapping ordeal, officials with the Ohio-based agency said Monday at a press conference.

"The hostages were sensing God nudging them to attempt an escape," said the ministry's spokesman Weston Showalter. "Over the time of their captivity, God gave various hostages a desire to attempt an escape. To attempt such a thing would be dangerous," he continued. "They sought God over and over again seeking direction from Him."

"After much discussion and prayer, they became solidly united that God seemed to be leading them this way." He said they sought specific signs from God, and He confirmed over and over that the timing wasn't right yet. Then, the night of Wednesday, December 15 arrived.

"When they sensed the timing was right, they found a way to open the door that was closed and blocked, filed silently to the path that they had chosen to follow, and quickly left the place that they were held despite the fact that numerous guards were close by," Showalter said. "In the distance, they could see a mountain feature that they had recognized and identified in the previous days. They identified this landmark before and they knew that this was the direction they needed to go. They also followed the sure guidance of the stars as they journeyed through the night, traveling toward safety."

“After a number of hours of walking, day began to dawn and they eventually found someone who helped to make a phone call for help,” he said, his voice beginning to choke. “They were finally free.”

David Troyer, general director of the ministry, also gave a special message for the kidnappers, offering forgiveness from the ministry and salvation through Jesus Christ.

"We do not know all of the challenges you face. We do believe that violence and oppression of others can never be justified. You caused our hostages and their families a lot of suffering. However, Jesus taught us by word and by His own example that the power of forgiving love is stronger than the hate of violent force. Therefore, we extend forgiveness to you," Troyer said in a statement.

"The hostages told you plainly how you can also be forgiven by God, if you repent. Our desire is that you and all who hear or read this statement may come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Savior, the Son of God, and the Prince of Peace," the statement concluded. (Read more)

- Father God, we can only shout HALLELUJAH to this amazing report! Thank You, Lord, for the words of David Troyer, directed at their captors.  May we each find the courage through Your grace to offer forgiveness towards any who have offended us, too. Teach us Your ways, O Lord . . . teach us Your ways.

- " Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God." (2 Corinthians 5:20)
America Needs A Savior And It’s ‘Not Me’ But ‘Someone Much Higher Up’, Says President Trump
Attending the Christmas Service of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas for the first time, former President Donald Trump spoke of the country's need for the Savior out of the "dark times" it is currently experiencing, and pointed to "Someone much higher" as that person and not himself.

The Gateway Pundit (TGP) highlighted that Trump delivered a "wonderful speech" that reassured the First Baptist Dallas' congregation on this Christmas Week. Trump's speech has shifted its focus "from man to God" who will be "the One ultimately delivering us," while "the rest of us are vessels."

On the other hand, The Dallas Morning News reported that Trump warned that the United States is "in great trouble." He cited Afghanistan and the way the exit was done "badly," the border problems, the rising inflation, and the strategic reserves decreasing coupled with rising prices that he all referred to as "dark clouds hanging over the country right now." He pointed out that it is something that won't last - and all is not lost for they will make things great again. Trump stressed that he will not allow these clouds to stay for long.

"There's a lot of clouds hanging over our country right now--dark clouds--but we will come back bigger and better and stronger than ever before. I'm telling you that. I won't let this happen. I won't let this happen. There's such spirit out there right now, I've never seen anything like that," Trump sternly said.

"Our country needs a savior right now, and we have a Savior--that's not me, that's Somebody much higher up than me, much higher up," Trump said.

"We just do what we have to do. But the life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ forever changed the world. It's impossible to think of the life of our own country without the influence of His examples and of His teachings," he emphasized.

Trump cited many instances in American history that point to the result of Christ's influence that included great developments from Science to Commerce. He stressed that these achievements would not have become a reality without Jesus Christ. He thanked everyone who believed in Christ, in the country, and in life.

"And the United States ultimately becoming a truly great nation. We keep it that way, we keep it that way. We're not going to let it go. But none of this could ever happen without Jesus Christ and His followers and His church. None of it," Trump said.

"We are gonna make America great again," he said before concluding his message. (Christianity Daily) Read more here.

- Father God, in these dark days, we do thank You for President Trump, whose light has never failed to shine across our great nation, and whose words continue to inspire us as we move forward in the days ahead. We ask that Your hand of protection would continue to rest upon him, upon Melania, and upon his son, Barron, now and always. In Your name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

Congress is commemorating the first anniversary of the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol
[This will include] a prayer vigil, panel discussion with historians and an opportunity for reflection from lawmakers who witnessed the attack.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the plans for the ‘solemn observance’ Monday in a letter to fellow Democrats.

'Our nation will soon mark one year since the January 6th deadly attack on the United States Capitol,' she wrote.

'Already, preparations are underway for a full program of events, including a discussion among historians about the narrative of that day; an opportunity for Members to share their experiences and reflections from that day; and a prayerful vigil in the evening.'
(The Daily Mail) Read more here.

> > > Editor's comment: this article states that nine were killed that day. In fact, there were (only) five; and some were not related directly to the uprising in the Capitol that day.
- Lord God, as painful as that day was on Capitol Hill, almost one year ago now, we ask that these events, sponsored by Speaker Pelosi, not be used to distort the facts of that day, or to "fuel the fire" of hatred that has since been birthed against those who were demonstrating in the Capitol building on January 6th. We continue to pray and to call for justice to be served for those who are still incarcerated, one year later, and treated often brutally within their prison cells. Help us, O Lord we pray, amen and amen!

Winter solstice: What it is and what it means
It can be the most depressing day of the year, but the winter solstice -- and first official day of the winter season -- also signals the slow return to more sunlight and longer days.

The winter solstice -- also the first day of winter -- marks the shortest day of the year with the longest night of the year.

But the solstice is also a signal of more daylight to come in the following days, and it's one of the origins of the modern winter holidays.

The 2021 winter solstice takes place at 10:59 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Dec. 21 in the Northern Hemisphere. It coincides with the summer solstice and the longest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.

Seasons change on Earth because the planet is slightly tilted on its axis as it travels around the Sun.

The solstice marks the moment the sun shines at the Earth's most southern point, directly over the Tropic of Capricorn. The northern hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun and the southern hemisphere is pointed towards it. As a result, those in the northern hemisphere get less sunlight, meaning cooler temperatures. According to AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson, winter solstice marks the time when the Northern and Southern hemispheres begin to trade places in receiving the sun’s most direct light and warmth.  Read More

Man Finds His Bible in Tornado Rubble, and What He Discovers Inside Has Him Thanking God: 'The Lord Was Watching Over Me'
Despite losing his home, his wallet, and all of his possessions in last weekend’s devastating tornados, Tommy Jackson still believes the Lord was “watching over” him.

Jackson, 65, told the Associated Press he suddenly had no way of getting money after his bank was destroyed. Plus, he had no form of identification and no credit cards after a deadly twister hit Mayfield, Kentucky, and obliterated everything he owned.

But he discovered something deeply important amid the piles of destruction: his family Bible — and that’s not all.

Tucked inside the Bible was Jackson’s birth certificate, a form of identification that will surely be much-needed as he rebuilds his life in the coming days, weeks, and months.

“The presence of the Lord was watching over me,” he said.

Despite Jackson witnessing his home being destroyed right in front of him, the calamity hasn’t shaken his faith. He has no idea where he will go or what he will do, but one thing is for sure: Jackson, who was staying in a shelter earlier this week, isn’t panicked.

“I trust in the Lord,” he explained. (Read More)

Thoughts for Repentance
REPENTANCE REPLACES "RUBBISH"; RESCUED INTO ROYALTY

PRAISE REPORT!
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,

I love how the LORD uses little people, like you and me. On a repentance zoom call to Malawi the other day, our dear brother Joseph Kazembe was led to speak and pray during the call while he traveled by car through the poorest section of Lilongwe, Malawi's capitol. There, children were eating from a garbage dump.

We started to pray and repent. The times of repentance opened up Holy Spirit Fruit. LOVE poured out. We received two words: worship center. The Holy Spirit gave us the vision to create a worship center to minister directly to the children in the garbage dump.

If we were doing a booklet, perhaps this would be a title: REPENTANCE REPLACES "RUBBISH"; RESCUED INTO ROYALTY. Read More

It Came Upon the Midnight Clear

Scripture: There were…shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. Luke 2:8

Lyrics:
It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold;
Peace on the earth, good will to men,
From Heaven’s all gracious king.
The world in solemn stillness lay,
To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled,
And still their heavenly music floats
O’er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lowly plains,
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever over its Babel sounds
The blessèd angels sing.

Yet with the woes of sin and strife
The world has suffered long;
Beneath the angel strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And man, at war with man, hears not
The love-song which they bring;
O hush the noise, ye men of strife
And hear the angels sing.

And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing!

For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophet-bards foretold,
When with the ever circling years
Comes round the age of gold;
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing.
