PRAY: US Senate Chaplain Barry Black Says God ‘Miraculously Intervened’ After Brain Bleed
|
|
Longtime U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black, a retired rear admiral in the Navy, was hospitalized late last week after suffering a brain bleed, and he is crediting the miraculous work of God for his recovery. Black, the first black individual and first Seventh-Day Adventist to serve as Senate chaplain, received treatment from U.S. Capitol physician Dr. Brian Monahan and is expected to make a “smooth recovery,” according to the Rev. Lisa Shultz, the chaplain’s chief of staff.
The 76-year-old veteran suffered a “medical emergency” resulting in a subdural hematoma, Shultz said. The chief of staff asked for prayers for Black, the chaplain’s family, and the office. Pastor Ted Wilson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist World Church, took to X, where he, too, asked for prayers for Black, petitioning God for a “full health recovery.” But it was the message from Black himself that served as the greatest encouragement. After learning about the popular chaplain’s condition, Wilson said he received a voice message from the rear admiral. The pastor said he “was so pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Chaplain Black himself on Friday evening from the hospital as he shared how God had miraculously intervened in his life to spare him from a potentially much more difficult health situation.” (Faithwire) Read More Here

We bless You and worship You as King of kings and Lord of lords over our lives. May Your presence and 'Joy of the Lord' fill each home during this Christmas season and surround Chaplain Black and his family as he fully recovers! In the mighty and powerful Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

Congress unveils bill to avert Friday government shutdown with over $100B in disaster aid
|
|
Bill also includes provisions spurred by the recent drone drama on the Eastern Seaboard
|
|
Congressional leaders are unveiling their plan to avoid a partial government shutdown by the Friday federal funding deadline.
House Republicans released the 1,547-page text of a short-term extension of fiscal year (FY) 2024 government funding levels to give lawmakers more time to agree on funding the rest of FY 2025.
It’s the second such extension, called a continuing resolution (CR), since FY 2024 ended on Sept. 30.
The bill extends FY 2024 government funding levels through March 14, while also including more than $100 billion in funding for disaster relief after storms Helene and Milton battered the U.S. Southeast just months ago. A further $10 billion in economic assistance for farmers is also included.
The legislation has health care provisions aimed at lessening the influence of Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and legislation aimed at revitalizing Washington, DC’s RFK Stadium and the surrounding area.
The bill will also make way for outbound investment legislation, to crack down on the flow of U.S. dollars benefitting Chinese military and technology firms overseas.
Recent drone activity on the Eastern Seaboard that's alarmed private citizens and lawmakers alike also inspired negotiators to include a reauthorization and extension of the government's Unmanned Aircraft Systems program. (Read more)

- Abba, we give You thanks that the House of Representatives has been able to come to an agreement on a bill partially funding the government until March, 2025. We ask Holy Spirit to being consensus within the House GOP after Speaker Johnson explains why what he did was necessary. We ask Holy Spirit to move on all hearts that are feeling disappointment or betrayal over how this bill was created. We ask for open minds that are willing to objectively view the circumstances Speaker Johnson was working on to bring agreement and stop a partial government shutdown. Father God, we ask You to speak to Speaker Johnson's heart, remind him of the words he spoke, with good intentions, and then give him the grace to ask forgiveness for those promises he was not able to fulfill. Jesus, we ask You to bring peace, allow trust to be rebuilt as all these Representatives learn how to work together in unity. We ask this in the name El Eloah, The Mighty, Strong, Prominent God whose character shows forth integrity and compassion.

Drones spotted over Camp Pendleton in California posed no threat to operations: report
|
|
Unmanned aerial systems have been reported over military installations in New Jersey, Ohio and now on the West Coast
|
|
Drones spotted flying over Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Southern California over the past week posed no threat to operations at the installation, according to reports.
Base spokesman Capt. James C. Sartain told The Warzone that between Dec. 9 and 15, "there were six instances of unmanned aerial systems (UAS)" seen entering the airspace over Camp Pendleton.
Sartain also said the UAS did not pose any threat to installation operations.
The publication also learned from base personnel that countermeasures to take out the drones were not necessary as air and ground operations were not impacted.
Camp Pendleton officials did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for confirmation and further details on the matter.
The reports of drones flying over Camp Pendleton come as reports continue to come in of possible drones being spotted over military installations in New Jersey, including the Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township, and Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck.
Drones were also seen flying near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio over the weekend, forcing the base to close its airspace for hours on Saturday.
According to its website, Wright-Patterson is "headquarters for a vast, worldwide logistics system, a world-class laboratory research function, and is the foremost acquisition and development center in the U.S. Air Force." (Fox News) Read more.

- Abba, our country needs Your help! The drones are showing up all over our country and our government refuses to do anything about it. Father God, I ask YOU to bring one of these drones down so it can be examined to determine exactly what it is and why it is over our nation. We ask for revelation downloads giving Your kids the information needed to keep our families, towns, cities and country safe. Allow Your truth to begin spreading throughout our nation via social media. Shine Your light on those hiding in the shadows, reveal who is behind these drones and what they are doing with them. Let the whole country know who is behind these things and bring each and every person involved to justice. Let them be charged to the greatest extent possible. We ask this in the name Jehovah Sabaoth, The Host of Heaven's Armies. Amen

they are counted among the
blessed in the land--he does not give them
over to the desire of their foes." (Psalm 41:2)

Biden Commutes Sentences Of Cartel Leaders, Crack Dealers And ‘Notorious’ Fraudsters In Massive Clemency Push
|
|
Drug traffickers, crack dealers, cartel leaders and fraudsters appear on President Joe Biden’s list of nearly 1,500 individuals who he granted clemency Thursday, court records reveal.
As part of his record-setting clemency grant, Biden announced Thursday he would commute sentences for individuals “who were placed on home confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic and who have successfully reintegrated into their families and communities.” The list of commutations released by the White House includes several high-profile criminals.
One individual, Francesk Shkambi, was initially sentenced in July 2014 to 27 years in prison for leading a criminal organization to “smuggle cocaine and marijuana into the United States from Albania,” according to court
|
|
“Shkambi also negotiated with a foreign source to traffic cocaine from Mexico to Europe,” the records show. “The jury found Shkambi responsible for trafficking 85 kilograms of cocaine, 4 kilograms of heroin, approximately 122 pounds of marijuana, and 4,000 pills of Ecstasy.” Shkambi was later set to be released in 2029, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Jose Valdez, whose sentence Biden commuted, “coordinated the distribution of large quantities of cocaine and marijuana for a drug-trafficking organization based in El Paso, Texas, from March of 2015 through July of 2016,” per court records. Valdez also “recruited numerous individuals to deliver narcotics to cities throughout the United States.” His scheduled release date was previously set for November 2026, according to the BOP. - Abba, the US needs Your protection because of the wicked people Joe Biden is releasing as he leaves office. We ask Holy Spirit to speak to the hearts of each of these evil men and women. Fill them with knowledge of Your might and power; give them reason to not go back to their old ways; let the "fear of the Lord" fall on them. Father God, we pray for Joe Biden. Bring him face to face with You, and let him know Your heart concerning his actions in putting all of us at risk. Let a spirit of repentance cover him, break his heart for what breaks Yours, bring him to his knees before You to receive Your forgiveness and salvation. We ask this in the name of El Gibhor, Mighty God, the God who will accomplish the destruction of his enemies and rule with a rod of iron.

turning a person from the snares of death."

'Post' unveils Syrian army logs documenting final days of Assad regime – exclusive
|
|
Documents detail the moment Syrian soldiers started to flee, their watching of IDF maneuvers, and their feelings on "the beloved leader," Bashar Assad.
From 1974 until December 7-8 of this year, the Syrian border was an extremely dangerous one where neither Israeli soldiers nor journalists would dare set foot, other than rare covert operations which where generally covered in a fog of mystery.
Syrian society and the Syrian military themselves were also an opaque mystery to most Israelis and much of the outside world.
And yet with the fall of the Assad regime only a few days before, on December 11, The Jerusalem Post participated in a dramatic visit to an abandoned Syrian base at Tel Kudne in southern Syria, embedded with the IDF, as part of the first Israeli media visit to that country since the 1973-4 Yom Kippur War and armistice.
From the top of Tel Kudne, which was the site of an intense battle during the 1973 War, the nearby village of Kudne was visible below as well as the village of Jaba, and other Syrian villages and hills were visible deeper in the distance.
On the Israeli side of the border, the closest villages in sight were Alonei Habashan and Keshet, which are slightly east of the Gamla National Park and Katzrin in the Golan.

1. Chief of Staff in Rafah: 'We're pressuring Hamas every day to return the hostages' - Israel National News
Today (Wednesday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, conducted a situational assessment and tour in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip. LTG Halevi was accompanied by the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, MG Yaron Finkelman; the Commanding Officer of the Gaza Division, BG Barak Hiram; the Commanding Officer of the Nahal Brigade, COL Yair Zuckerman; and other senior commanders.
Halevi told the soldiers in Rafah, "We are dismantling Hamas and targeting its infrastructure and forces so that there will never be another October 7th. We are exerting pressure on Hamas daily, driving it into greater distress, to ensure the return of the 100 hostages—hopefully alive—and for those who are not, to provide them a proper burial in Israel. Our goal is also to return Israeli residents to their homes."
"I tell you this: the Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip are coming back to life," Halevi said. "Residents are returning, and as they do, our responsibility grows even greater—not less. It is our duty to provide a much stronger security framework so they can feel safe and secure here." (Read more)

2. Gaza Mediators Intensify Ceasefire Efforts as CIA Chief Heads to Doha for Talks - Algemeiner
The United States, joined by Arab mediators, sought on Wednesday to conclude an agreement between Israel and Hamas to halt the 14-month-old war in the Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian official close to the negotiations said on Wednesday that mediators had narrowed gaps on most of the agreement’s clauses. He said Israel had introduced conditions which Hamas rejected but would not elaborate.
On Tuesday, sources close to the talks in Cairo, the Egyptian capital, said an agreement could be signed in coming days on a ceasefire and release of hostages held in Gaza in return for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
The US administration, joined by mediators from Egypt and Qatar, has made intensive efforts in recent days to advance the talks before President Joe Biden leaves office next month.
In Jerusalem, Israeli President Isaac Herzog met Adam Boehler, US President-elect Donald Trump’s designated envoy for hostage affairs. Trump has threatened that “all hell is going to break out” if Hamas does not release its hostages by Jan. 20, the day Trump returns to the White House. (Read more)

3. IDF orders evacuations in central Gaza amid reports of imminent hostage deal - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday ordered another evacuation in central Gaza ahead of an offensive in the area, even as Israel and Hamas appeared to inch closer to a hostage-ceasefire deal in the 14-month war.
“This is an advance warning ahead of an offensive,” IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee posted on X, asking the residents to move to a “humanitarian zone” in the Muwasi area.
The order included four residential block areas in Gaza’s central Bureij, where Adraee said that Palestinian operatives had fired rockets at Israeli troops. (Read more)

4. Brother of hostage tells UN Security Council: ‘Your inaction is suffocating’ - World Israel News
Michael Levy, brother of hostage Or Levy, made an urgent appeal to the UN Security Council (UNSC) while criticizing it for its inaction.
“Your inaction is suffocating,” declared Michael, the first hostage family member the UNSC has invited to address the council since October 7, 2023. “For every day this council fails to act, the message to the world is clear: Some lives are worth saving, and others are not.”
Stating his refusal to accept that message, he expressed hope that the incoming Trump administration would secure the release of the hostages.
“We place our deepest hopes and faith that you [Donald Trump] will bring this tragedy to an end,” Michael said. “Your decisive leadership has already brought life into a situation that feels so hopeless. We believe in your strength, your leadership, and your commitment to justice to help bring our loved ones back home.” (Read more)

5. Netanyahu trial day four: Indictment terminology of 'involvement' and 'demands' challenged - Jerusalem Post
The terminology and language used in the indictment became the centerpiece of contention at the fourth day of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial testimony at the Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday, with the defense's challenges regarding characterizing the defendant's involvement and requests to the co-defendant of a supposed media bribery scheme troubling both judges and prosecution.
Debate sparked immediately as the hearing began in the bunker courtroom when defense attorney Amit Haddad rose the issue of how some of the 315 items in the indictment were categorized as him being directly involved in an alleged request for better news coverage on Walla, others in which he was aware of intermediaries making requests, and other incidents still in which the indictment reportedly did not make it clear how the prime minister was connected.
The defense said that there were 82 items and coverage requests in which direct involvement from Netanyahu were not found, and another 59 requests in which it was not explicitly detailed how he or family were involved. The question of how awareness of requests from family and friends was enough to be considered corruption on Netanyahu's part. (Read more)

1. ABC agrees to give $15 million to Donald Trump’s presidential library to settle defamation lawsuit - AP News
ABC News has agreed to pay $15 million toward Donald Trump’s presidential library to settle a defamation lawsuit over anchor George Stephanopoulos’ inaccurate on-air assertion that the president-elect had been found civilly liable for raping writer E. Jean Carroll.
As part of the settlement made public Saturday, ABC News posted an editor’s note to its websiteexpressing regret over Stephanopoulos’ statements during a March 10 segment on his “This Week” program. The network will also pay $1 million in legal fees to the law firm of Trump’s attorney, Alejandro Brito.
The settlement agreement describes ABC’s presidential library payment as a “charitable contribution,” with the money earmarked for a non-profit organization that is being established in connection with the yet-to-be built library.
“We are pleased that the parties have reached an agreement to dismiss the lawsuit on the terms in the court filing,” ABC News spokesperson Jeannie Kedas said. (Read more)

2. Veteran Daniel Penny is acquitted in NYC subway chokehold case over Jordan Neely’s death - AP News
A Marine veteran who used a chokehold on an agitated subway rider was acquitted on Monday in a death that became a prism for differing views about public safety, valor and vigilantism.
A Manhattan jury cleared Daniel Penny of criminally negligent homicide in Jordan Neely ’s 2023 death. A more serious manslaughter charge was dismissedlast week because the jury deadlocked on that count.
Penny, who had shown little expression during the trial, briefly smiled as the verdict was read. While celebrating later with his attorneys, he said he felt “great.”
Both applause and anger erupted in the courtroom, and Neely’s father and two supporters were ushered out after audibly reacting. Another person also left, wailing with tears. “It really, really hurts,” Neely’s father, Andre Zachery, said outside the courthouse. “I had enough of this. The system is rigged.” (Read more)

3. Biden admin quietly clears away border wall parts for auction ahead of Trump’s second term - New York Post
The Biden administration is reportedly spending its final weeks quietly clearing away unused southern border wall materials to put up for auction — a move characterized by some lawmakers as an apparent ploy to sabotage President-elect Donald Trump’s goal to secure the US-Mexico border.
Alarming footage taken by a US Customs agent captured numerous flatbed trucks hauling away dismantled sections of the steel wall near Tucson, Arizona — a hotspot for illegal crossings — with the agent estimating a half-mile’s worth of parts are being removed daily, the Daily Wire reported.
“They are taking it from three sections: Nogales, Tucson, and Three Points,” the agent, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, told the outlet. (Read more)

A pro-veterans group is laying over 3 million wreaths across fallen soldiers' gravestones before Christmas, continuing the group's long tradition.
"It's going to be a little over three million," Wreaths Across America Executive Director Karen Worcester said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "We actually added 700 new locations this year. Volunteers are just fantastic."
The nonprofit group has a holiday tradition of laying wreaths on graves at Arlington National Cemetery and will go to more locations this year. 5. Time for Justice for Pro-Life Prisoners and the DC 5 - Daily Signal
A House subcommittee’s hearing Wednesday on the FACE Act will seek to get to the bottom of President Joe Biden’s weaponizing of the government against pro-life advocates and expose how they were harmed.
One of the most egregious examples of the Justice Department’s unjust application of the FACE Act happened right in our nation’s capital just a few years ago. In March 2022, members of the group Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising, or PAAU, discovered the tortured remains of five fully formed babies now known as “the D.C. Five.” Their bodies and wounds indicated they likely were victims of illegal partial-birth or born-alive abortions.
Lauren Handy and other PAAU activists notified the authorities of the bodies found at the Washington Surgi-Clinic in Northwest D.C. and called for an investigation into the likely federal crimes that led to their deaths. Instead, the FBI arrested Handy for a protest she had engaged in a year before. (Read more)

6. Senate passes annual defense policy bill with transgender care restrictions and pay boost for junior troops - Fox News
The Senate voted to pass the $895 billion annual defense policy bill that includes a pay raise for U.S. servicemembers and a provision that restricts transgender care. The bill passed 85 to 14, and now heads to President Biden’s desk for his signature.
The legislation scored a more bipartisan vote in the Senate than it did in the House, where more Democrats voted no on the legislation in protest of the transgender provisions. The bill prohibits military health care provider Tricare from paying for transgender care "that could result in sterilization" for children under 18.
Additionally, while the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) outlines policy, a separate spending bill will actually fund the programs it lays out. That spending legislation will be voted on in the next Congress, when Republicans will have a narrow majority in both chambers. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: Obama Lecture on Pluralism
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 18, 2024
Barack Obama is once again lecturing Americans on his version of “democracy,” very slyly suggesting the Constitution as a “rulebook” for a “pluralist democracy,” code words for Marxist communism. The definition of pluralism is “a condition or system in which two or more states, groups, principles, sources of authority, etc., coexist.” Obama, however, is defining pluralism as finding common ground to build coalitions that change society. Sound reasonable? It does until one looks beneath the veneer of words that sound like sweet new concepts, but in reality are proposing just another trip down the worn and miserable path of statism.
At his December 7, 2024 Obama Foundation Democracy Forum, Obama built the case for everyone working together for a successful democracy—pluralism, as he called it. Then, he took his audience to his real agenda, “Pluralism is not about holding hands and singing “Kumbaya.” It is not about abandoning your convictions and folding when things get tough. It is about recognizing that in a democracy, power comes from forging alliances, and building coalitions, and making room in those coalitions not only for the woke but also for the waking.” And he says this is how its done: “Create more organizations from elementary school all the way through adulthood, that bring people together to do something.”

Christian School Shooter Manifesto Documents Family Breakdown
|
|
|
Just days before Christian students’ scheduled vacation to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a lonely and radicalized high school student opened fire inside Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, killing two people and wounding six more. Police say 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who went by the name “Samantha,” opened fire with a 9mm handgun during study hall before turning the gun on herself. Now, an apparent manifesto shows the child’s turbulent home life, isolation, adoption of neo-Nazi views, idolization of school shooters, and her wish to further “evolution” drove her to the brink.
Two Remain in Critical Condition
Rupnow attended Abundant Life, a Christian school founded in 1978, with approximately 400 students from kindergarten through high school, serving 200 families across 56 churches in Dane County. She opened fire in a room of students of mixed ages, killing one teenage student and one teacher. Six people were injured: one teacher and five students. Two of the victims were released from SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday. Two victims remain in critical condition.
A second grade teacher called 911 to report the shooting at 10:57 a.m. (The local police chief originally reported erroneously that a second grade student made the call.) Police officers responded to the scene immediately, with 17 ambulances and numerous fire trucks. Law enforcement officers found Rupnow bleeding profusely from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot at 11:05 a.m. Rupnow was pronounced dead from suicide in the ambulance en route to a local hospital. The school notified parents at 11:29 a.m.

- Father God, we are still in a state of shock, as are our souls. Lord Jesus! We ask that You, the Omnisicent One, would please search out those youth who are also "on the edge" of destroying themselves and others; and put a hook in their jaws that they would begin to come out of their state of abyss. We ask that You grant unusual wisdom for all parents, grandparents and teachers, that they would note the disturbed behavior of these young ones. and take action to help them. Let the resources of godly, biblically-based counselors be made known to all, that truly help can be rendered in the process of healing the souls of these tortured young people. Come, Lord Jesus, come . . . and make a way for the youth in our country to be rescued, where there seems to be no way.

Iran’s nuclear program alarms world powers:
No ‘civilian justification’
|
|
|
The United Kingdom, France and Germany on Tuesday called on Iran to “reverse its nuclear escalation,” claiming that there is no “credible civilian justification” for the amount of highly enriched uranium it is stockpiling, AFP reported.
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Tehran has already become the only non-nuclear state to have uranium enriched to 60%, just a short step from military-grade level.
In a joint statement ahead of a U.N. Security Council meeting, the three countries warned that “Iran’s stockpile of High Enriched Uranium has … reached unprecedented levels, again without any credible civilian justification. It gives Iran the capability to rapidly produce sufficient fissile material for multiple nuclear weapons.” (JNS.org) Read more here.

|
- Father God, as your intercessors, we agree with the world powers that the nation of Iran must "reverse its nuclear escalation", because there is indeed no "credible civilian justification" for the amount of these weapons it is stockpiling. We ask that you build a wall of fire around these weapons, that should they be launched, they would fail. We ask that Your Hand of protection would rest upon all of who may be in the path of these dangerous weapons. Amen.

A Letter to the Church from the 24/7 Strategic Prayer Netwok
|
|
|
Scott Bessent, Trump's Nominee for Secretary of the Treasury
|
|
Dear Friends,
Today we received a message from Maureen Bravo, head of the 24/7 Prayer Shield
Network. This is a message to the church in America, expressing a major concern that
the President's nominee for Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, is a homosexual.
The 24/7 Strategic Prayer Network strongly supports President Trump. Indeed, they have
been offering nonstop prayer for him since Nov. 11, 2016! So . . . this letter is written with
a heart of deep love and respect for the President-elect. Indeed, Maureen has stated three major concerns should Trump not withdraw this nominee:
"Out of this love, we are writing today to inform you that a major breach in President Trump’s spiritual, and possibly, physical protection took place with the nomination of Scott Bessent, an openly homosexual person, as the Secretary of the Treasury. This nomination has at least three major consequences:
Offending God by going against His will, thus departing from His protection and blessing. Romans 1:27-32;
Opening a door for the influence of demonic spirits in the Cabinet, the White House and in his Administration;
Alienating tens of millions of conservative Christians who voted for him.
We encourage each one of you to read Maureen's letter in its entirety by going here: Download PDF Here

Should you wish to contact President Trump about this nominee, please send him a letter
at this address:

May righteousness lead them in any decisions that need to be made as this team unites all people of our nation. Thank you, Lord, for guiding them, protecting them and their families as You pour out your Spirit of truth upon each one. We are truly a blessed nation! Amen and Amen.

Another major earthquake strikes Vanuatu

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."
