New Twitter Files Show FBI Flagging Accounts for Company to Target
|
|
Emails from the FBI to Twitter released on Dec. 16 showed bureau officials flagging specific people for Twitter to take action against, the latest tranche of documents that bolster evidence that the government and Big Tech have been colluding to censor Americans.
In one missive dated Nov. 3, FBI officials flagged 25 accounts, including that of the media outlet Right Side Broadcasting Network that had created posts that “may warrant additional action due to the accounts being utilized to spread misinformation about the upcoming election.” The list was sent to Twitter several days later by Elvis Chan, a top official at the FBI’s office in San Francisco.
In another email, dated Nov. 10, the FBI’s San Francisco field office sent Twitter four accounts, stating that agents believed they “may potentially constitute violations of Twitter’s Terms of Service for any action or inaction deemed appropriate within Twitter policy.”
A third email, an internal Twitter missive, showed that Twitter was processing a list of posts that had been flagged by the FBI for “Possible Violative Content.” One of the posts commented on a video of then-Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo talking about COVID-19 vaccine mandates and stated: “This is our future guys if the dems get full control. If you are in George you better vote Wednesday.”
The emails were released by journalist Matt Taibbi.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk has said that he granted Taibbi and other journalists access to Twitter documents. (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for all that is now being unveiled among us. The truth will, indeed, set us free. We pray that government and Big Tech will be held accountable for colluding together to censor Americans. We pray checks and balances will be put in place to prevent this in the future. We ask for righteous judgments to come forth where needed, and the grace to wait upon You in all things. In Your name, Holy One, amen and amen.
- "But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken." (Matthew 12:36)

The United Nations General Assemblyaffirmed that Israel must give up its nuclear weapons in a 149-6 vote taken on Wednesday.

Ukraine had voted against Israel in the Fifth Committee, but this time around was absent from the proceedings after it had been criticized for standing against Israel. (Read more)

2. Herzog grants Netanyahu 10 more days to form coalition, adds a warning - Times of Israel
President Isaac Herzog on Friday granted Likud leader and Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu 10 additional days to finish forming a government, while indicating concern that the coalition Netanyahu is assembling — set to be the most right-wing in Israeli history — could potentially damage Israel’s democratic checks and balances, breach the spirit of the Declaration of Independence and alienate Jews overseas.
The presumed incoming prime minister formally asked Herzog for the maximal extension of two weeks on Thursday, saying that the complexity of cobbling together his coalition required extra time, but Herzog gave him only 10 days.
Netanyahu’s 28-day mandate to assemble a government was set to expire at midnight on Sunday night, and he will now have until December 21 to form a government. Herzog did not specify why he chose not to grant Netanyahu the maximum 14-day extension. (Read more)

3. Coalition to split Attorney General post in two - Israel National News
Designated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's new coalition intends on splitting the job of the Attorney General into two separate positions: Attorney General and Prosecutor General, according to a report by Channel 12 News.
This split was already planned by outgoing Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar, who received authorization from Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara to do so.
The Justice Ministry says that Baharav-Miara does not intend on resigning, not due to the government's intent to split her position and not due to her opposition to new lawmaking initiatives. (Read more)

4. MK Danon to INN: 'Splitting up ministries - a necessity that can be lived with' - Israel National News
Former minister and ambassador, MK Danny Danon has not given up on receiving the position of Knesset Speaker in the next term. He reads the headlines which promote the candidacies of Yariv Levin and Dudi Amsalem for the job, but he still believes that his Likud party will give it to him.
When asked if, at this point, he knows what is in store for his personal future, he answers: "The country's future is more important than my own. We are happy that we will soon form a national and Zionist government and switch out this dangerous government. We are beginning to see the buds of the change of government."
Regarding this statement, we asked if there are really buds of the change of government or just issues that are becoming more exhausting and complex the closer the distribution of jobs gets closer to Likud members. "As far as the schedule we will meet," Danon says and points out that tomorrow a new Speaker will be chosen for the Knesset on behalf of the new coalition, and "By Chanukah, there will be new ministers in the Israeli government and Prime Minister Netanyahu will take office." The warning follows a broadcast by the Al-Arabiya news channel about an Iranian plan to use the airport as its new arms smuggling corridor.

1. Trump comes out swinging for McCarthy, says defectors playing 'dangerous game' - Washington Examiner
Former President Donald Trump is coming out hard in support of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to become the next speaker of the House, arguing that the California Republican’s defectors are playing a “dangerous game.”
Trump’s comments come as McCarthy faces an uphill battle in garnering the support needed within his conference to obtain the gavel, with some of the former president’s closest allies leading the charge in the push to withhold the backing he needs to lock down the position he has long vied for during his tenure in Congress.
Trump — who previously endorsed McCarthy just ahead of Election Day, before the party fell short of the red wave it anticipated — argued that conservatives could end up with a worse alternative, taking aim at former Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and likening his vocal critic, former Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), to Winston Churchill by comparison.
“I think it’s a very dangerous game that’s being played. It’s a very dangerous game. Some bad things could happen. Look, we had Boehner, and he was a strange person, but we ended up with Paul Ryan, who was 10 times worse. Paul Ryan was an incompetent speaker,” Trump told Breitbart. “I think he goes down as the worst speaker in history. We took [out] Boehner — and a group of people, some of whom are the same, and they’re very good friends of mine. All those people are very good friends of mine. (Read more)

2. Number of colleges with heavy restrictions on free speech rises - Christian Post
The number of colleges and universities that have significant restrictions on free speech has increased, according to a new report from a free speech advocacy group.
The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, formerly the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, has released a new report on the state of free speech on college campuses, titled “Spotlight on Speech Codes 2023.”
The organization ranked nearly 500 U.S. colleges on the basis of a light system, with “green light” colleges having policies that “do not seriously imperil free expression,” “yellow light” colleges having “vague regulations on expression,” and “red light” colleges having “policies that clearly and substantially restrict free speech.”
According to the FIRE report, for the first time in 15 years, the number of colleges with the worst free speech rating has increased, as 12 colleges went from having a “yellow light” status to a “red light” status. (Read more)

- We pray over these colleges with heavy restrictions on free speech. May more students start choosing colleges that support free speech, which we pray will cause the other colleges to re-think their free speech restrictions.

3. Pacifist Japan unveils biggest military build-up since World War Two - Reuters
TOKYO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Japan on Friday unveiled its biggest military build-up since World War Two with a $320 billion plan that will buy missiles capable of striking China and ready it for sustained conflict, as regional tensions and Russia's Ukraine invasion stoke war fears. The sweeping, five-year plan, once unthinkable in pacifist Japan, will make the country the world's third-biggest military spender after the United States and China, based on current budgets.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who described Japan and its people as being at a "turning point in history", said the ramp-up was "my answer to the various security challenges that we face". His government worries that Russia has set a precedent that will encourage China to attack Taiwan, threatening nearby Japanese islands, disrupting supplies of advanced semiconductors and putting a potential stranglehold on sea lanes that supply Middle East oil. "This is setting a new heading for Japan. If appropriately executed, the Self-Defense Forces will be a real, world-class effective force," said Yoji Koda, a former Maritime Self Defense Force admiral, who commanded the Japanese fleet in 2008. - We pray and intercede over this biggest military build-up by Japan. As we see these end time coalitions starting to form, we do not fear but trust You are in control.

4. UNGA condemns Iran's crack-down on protestors, with Israel's support - Jerusalem Post
The United Nations General Assembly condemned Iran’s violence against protesters, as part of a wide-ranging text against human rights violations by the Islamic Republic, including its executions and acts of antisemitism. The text was approved in New York late Thursday with the support of only 80 out of the UNGA’s 193 member states.
Israel and Western countries, including Canada and the United States, voted for the annual text highlighting Iranian human rights abuses. The Jewish state also joined over 40 countries in sponsoring the resolution. (Read more)

5. Iranian atomic official says uranium enrichment capacity hits record highs - Times of Israel
> > > UN nuclear watchdog representatives to visit Iran Sunday to try to resolve deadlock after traces of radioactive material found at undeclared sites
Iran said Saturday that its uranium enrichment capacity has increased to record levels, a day before UN nuclear monitors are set to visit the country.
“Currently, the enrichment capacity of the country has reached more than twice the entire history of this industry,” Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, was quoted as saying by state news agency IRNA.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said last month that according to its assessment, as of October 22, Iran has an estimated 62.3 kilograms (137.3 pounds) of uranium enriched to up to 60% fissile purity. That amounts to an increase of 6.7 kilograms since the IAEA’s last report in September. (Read more)

Archaeology breakthrough as ancient tools discovered
among grave goods near Stonehenge
|
|
Fresh analysis revealed gold residue on five stone tools from a barrow located near the village of Upton Lovell in Wiltshire, that was first excavated back in the Georgian era.
An ancient goldworking tool kit has been identified by archaeologists among the grave goods previously unearthed from a Bronze Age barrow located some 11 miles west of Stonehenge. The 4,000-year-old kit — made out of stone — was found at the Upton Lovell G2a burial, an earthen mound which was excavated back in 1801 and whose contents are now on display at the Wiltshire Museum in Devizes. The barrow was the burial site of two individuals, and contained an assortment of grave goods, including a large number of perforated bone points that are thought to have once formed part of an elaborate ceremonial cloak. These objects were recently loaned out for display at the British Museum as part of the landmark “World of Stonehenge” exhibition. The fact that a goldworking kit was among the artefacts, however, was only revealed following recent reanalysis by prehistoric archaeologist Dr Christina Tsoraki and her colleagues at the University of Leicester. Kirk Cameron Hits Back After Libraries Reportedly ‘Discriminate’ Against Him:
‘I’m Prepared to Assert My Constitutional Rights’
|
|
Actor Kirk Cameron is speaking out after public libraries across the U.S. reportedly declined or ignored his request to host a story hour reading of his new book, “As You Grow.” The “Growing Pains” star told CBN’s Faithwire he and his publisher Brave Books are hoping libraries change their minds, though he’s fully prepared to go to court to defend his rights. “Brave Books Publishing and I wrote a letter to some of these libraries and we’re hoping that they’ll reconsider,” Cameron said. “We’re sending them a free copy of the book. It’s theirs to keep, to share with their patrons.”
The actor said he’s hoping these libraries see the positive values embedded in the book and, as a result, invite him in to read to kids. He said “As You Grow” is about “biblical wisdom” and teaching children how to “grow the fruit of the spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control. You would think that public libraries would be thrilled for a book that would teach these virtues to children,” Cameron said. “We were denied by over fifty woke libraries.”
And if libraries don’t change course, Cameron said he’s fully prepared to take action. “If they double down on their discrimination and excluding certain viewpoints just because they think that they don’t like them, well, then, I told them that I’m prepared to assert my constitutional rights in court,” Cameron said. “It’s not OK to say ‘yes’ to drag queen story hours and teach children one kind of value and say ‘no’ to other community members who would like to have their children taught other values in the same library, in the same room, for the same amount of time as other people are allowed.” He continued, “That’s called viewpoint discrimination and violating equal access and free speech.” Cameron said he’s raising this issue to be a good father, husband, and American citizen, calling faith in God, the Bible, and morality important American centerpieces. “We need to get back to the Word of God,” he said. - Abba, we PRAISE you for the bold strategy of Cameron to send free copies of "As You Grow." to each library that refused him access! In Jesus name, we ask You to "change hearts of stone into hearts of flesh" and remove all obstacles. May Your will be done in this circumstance to allow this book into every public library to fight against the woke culture and bring You GLORY!
- "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel 36:26)

We Three Kings
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words and Music: John Hopkins Jr
Scripture: Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? Matthew 2:1–2
Lyrics:
We three kings of Orient are;
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Refrain
O star of wonder, star of light,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.
Born a king on Bethlehem’s plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never,
Over us all to reign.
Refrain
Frankincense to offer have I;
Incense owns a deity nigh;
Prayer and praising, voices raising,
Worshipping God on high.
Refrain
Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume
Breathes a life of gathering gloom;
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying,
Sealed in the stone cold tomb.
Refrain
Glorious now behold Him arise;
King and God and sacrifice;
Alleluia, Alleluia,
Sounds through the earth and skies.
