A celebratory crowd of thousands bundled up on a chilly Tuesday afternoon to watch President Joe Biden sign gay marriage legislation into law...
“This law and the love it defends strike a blow against hate in all its forms,” Biden said on the South Lawn of the White House. “And that’s why this law matters to every single American.”
Singers Sam Smith and Cyndi Lauper performed. Vice President Kamala Harris recalled officiating at a lesbian wedding in San Francisco. And the White House played a recording of Biden’s television interview from a decade ago, when he caused a political furor by unexpectedly disclosing his support for gay marriage. Biden was vice president at the time, and President Barack Obama had not yet endorsed the idea.
Three days later, Obama himself publicly endorsed gay marriage.

Bipartisan Legislation Seeks to Ban ‘CCP Puppet Company’ TikTok From US

A bipartisan group of lawmakers is seeking to ban social media giant TikTok from operating in the United States. The effort follows extensive testimony from U.S. intelligence leaders that the app poses a threat to national security.
Legislation seeking to ban the app was introduced in both houses of Congress on Dec. 13 by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.).
The lawmakers condemned TikTok’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) through its parent company, ByteDance, and said the company was collecting Americans’ data for the communist regime.
“The federal government has yet to take a single meaningful action to protect American users from the threat of TikTok,” Rubio said. “This isn’t about creative videos, this is about an app that is collecting data on tens of millions of American children and adults every day.
“We know it’s used to manipulate feeds and influence elections. We know it answers to the People’s Republic of China. There is no more time to waste on meaningless negotiations with a CCP-puppet company. It is time to ban Beijing-controlled TikTok for good.” (Epoch Times) Read more here.

Judge Orders Kari Lake and Katie Hobbs to Appear at Emergency Court Hearing Over Election Lawsuit
|

A judge overseeing Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake’s electoral lawsuit ordered Lake, Secretary of State and Arizona Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors officials, and others to appear at a court hearing on Tuesday.
Judge Peter Thompson, in issuing the (pdf) order, wrote that the court has “reviewed” Lake’s “verified statement of election contest” and said the “matter will be set on an accelerated basis.” Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer and Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates were also ordered to attend the hearing, which will start at 2 p.m. ET.
It comes as Lake stated Monday that her lawsuit is, in part, fueled by alleged whistleblower claims who have come forward.
“We’ve had three whistleblowers from Maricopa County reach out and say the system is seriously flawed,” Lake told Just the News on Monday, days after the suit was filed with a Maricopa County court. “They were throwing out tens of thousands of signatures saying they were scribbles that in no way matched. But somewhere between there, the ballots were being completely tossed out and they got looped back into the system and counted as if they were fine.”
Lake said that about 25,000 “additional ballots and early voting ballots were discovered two days after Election Day,” adding that they “just showed up.” She continued: “It shows the whole system has serious problems.”
“We believe that up to 135,000 ballots were pushed through that should not have been pushed through,” Lake added, without elaborating. “We’re asking a judge to let us take a look at all of the envelopes and compare signatures, so that we can find out for sure how many bad, fraudulent ballots got through in that way, of basically cheating or breaking the rules.” (Read more)

1. Hamas leader threatens Israel: We will topple every one of your governments - Israel National News
Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, revealed that Hamas held secret negotiations with Israel on an exchange deal that would have resulted in the release of Palestinian Arab terrorists being held in Israeli prisons.
In a speech he gave at the main event to mark the 35th anniversary of the founding of Hamas, Sinwar said that Hamas demanded that Israel release those terrorists who were freed in the Shalit deal and subsequently re-arrested, as well as female prisoners, minors and the sick, headed by Nasr Abu Hameed Walid a-Daqa, veteran prisoners, as well as return the bodies of terrorists held in Israel.
In return, Sinwar said, Hamas was willing to return Avera Mengistu and Hashem al-Sayed, who crossed the border into the Gaza Strip in 2014 and 2015, respectively. (Read more)

Yariv Levin, a confidant of presumed incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was elected speaker of the Knesset on Tuesday, paving the way for a rapid legislative blitz demanded by Likud’s partners as a condition for forming their government.
Despite incoming opposition attempts to delay the vote, Levin received 64 votes in the 120-seat body, allowing him to assume the role of Knesset speaker — a role he held in 2020-2021 — and take control of the Knesset’s legislative agenda.
Protest candidate Merav Ben Ari of the Yesh Atid party received 45 votes and Hadash-Ta’al chief Ayman Odeh got five. Levin, a confidant of presumed incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was elected speaker of the Knesset on Tuesday, paving the way for a rapid legislative blitz demanded by Likud’s partners as a condition for forming their government. 3. MKs advance bills to let Deri take ministry; grant Ben Gvir, Smotrich broad powers - Times of Israel
Hours after electing a new Knesset speaker from their camp, incoming coalition members won preliminary votes on four bills, some of them highly contentious, set down as political preconditions for finalizing the hardline government coalescing under Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu.
Demanded by Likud’s far-right and ultra-Orthodox partners, three of the bills will augment key roles and powers: expanding the authority of the national security minister — set to be Otzma Yehudit head Itamar Ben Gvir — over the police force; clearing a path for a party leader serving a suspended sentence — Shas’s Aryeh Deri — to helm three ministries; and enabling a member of Religious Zionism, likely party leader Bezalel Smotrich, to become an independent minister in the Defense Ministry in control of West Bank building.

4. Israel: Impunity for UN officials speaking of the Jewish Lobby must end - Jerusalem Post
Israel on Wednesday called on the United Nations to stop turning a blind eye at UN officials who use the antisemitic phrase the “Jewish Lobby.”
“The lack of accountability and impunity for comments made by UN officials only works to legitimize antisemitism and endangers the Jewish people,” it said.
Israel’s mission to the UN in Geneva spoke out after an Israeli English website The Times of Israel reported that “UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967” Francesca Albanese had used the phrase the “Jewish Lobby.” (Read more)

5. Iran Expelled from UN Commission on Status of Women; Israel’s Ambassador Calls Iran ‘Embodiment of Evil’ - Jewish Press
Iran was expelled on Wednesday from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, the world body that promotes women’s rights, in a vote at the UN Economic and Social Council of 29 to 8, with 16 abstentions. Those who opposed the action included Russia and China.
The vote came after the United States called for Iran’s ouster over the mullahs’ “systematic oppression” of women and violent crackdown on street protests against the death of Mahsa Amini.
The resolution proposed last month by the US means the immediate termination of Iran from the commission for the remainder of its 2022-2026 term. It expresses “serious concern” over Iran’s actions since September “to continuously undermine and increasingly suppress the human rights of women and girls, including the right to freedom of expression and opinion, often with the use of excessive force…as well as through the use of lethal force resulting in the deaths of peaceful protestors, including women and girls." President Joe Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act on Tuesday, which officially enshrines certain protections for same-sex marriages into federal law. “Today, I sign the Respect for Marriage Act into law, deciding whether to marry, who to marry is one of the most profound decisions a person can make," Biden said.
"For most of our nation's history, we denied interracial couples and same-sex couples from these protections. We failed. We failed to treat them with equal dignity and respect. And now law requires interracial marriage. And same-sex marriage must be recognized as legal in every state in the nation," Biden said.
"We need to challenge the hundreds of callous, cynical laws introduced in the states targeting transgender children, terrifying families and criminalizing doctors who give children the care they need," Biden said. The president and first lady also invited to the ceremony "members of the LGBTQIA+ community, advocates and allies," including drag queens Cummings and Brita Filter. (Read more)

2. Dems Propose Forcing ICE To Release Thousands Of Illegal Immigrants As Part Of Spending Package - The Daily Caller
Democrats from the House and Senate proposed that ICE have the capacity to hold 25,000 illegal immigrants at a time “to prevent overcrowding that would create dangerous and inhumane conditions” in fiscal year 2023 appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), reducing the agency’s capacity over 25%.
If Democrats are able to include the plan in the omnibus spending bill, they would effectively hand organizations seeking to “abolish” ICE a victory, RJ Hauman, head of government relations and communications at the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
In their proposals, Congressional Democrats have asked for increased reliance on what is known as ICE’s “Alternatives to Detention” program, which the agency implemented in 2004 to monitor illegal immigrants released from custody with tracking devices like cell phones as detention facilities lacked the capacity and immigration courts faced long wait times. 3. Key Lawmakers Announce Government Funding Deal Framework - Brietbart
Retiring Senate Appropriations Chair Patrick Leahy (D-VT) announced that appropriators have “reached a bipartisan, bicameral framework that should allow us to finish an omnibus appropriations bill that can pass the House and Senate and be signed into law by the President,” according to Politico.
Leahy, Senate Appropriations ranking member Richard Shelby (R-AL), and House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) are leading the negotiations for a bill to fund the government through the current fiscal year.
Shelby reportedly said the three lawmakers’ agreement allowed them “to begin the difficult work of reaching agreement across twelve separate bills.” (Read more)

4. Biden preparing to send Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine - The Daily Mail
The Biden administration is preparing to send the long-sought Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine, meeting one of the key requests of the government as it fends off constant Russian attacks.
Ukrainian officials have been publicly and privately asking for the system as a way to protect infrastructure and the civilian population from relentless Russian drone and missile strikes.

5. DeSantis calls for grand jury investigation of COVID vaccines - The Hill
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is calling for a grand jury investigation into alleged “crimes and wrongdoing” related to COVID-19 vaccines and setting up Florida’s own Public Health Integrity Committee. The governor’s office announced what it called “aggressive action” Tuesday after DeSantis held a roundtable discussion with physicians, researchers and victims “of adverse events from mRNA vaccines.”
“The federal government, medical associations, and other experts have created an expectation that receiving a COVID-19 vaccine is an ethical or civic duty and that choosing not to get vaccinated against COVID-19 is selfish and harmful to others,” DeSantis’s petition for the grand jury investigation reads.
The petition also alleges that it is “impossible to imagine that so many influential individuals came to this view on their own” and that the pro-vaccine individuals and companies “created these perceptions for financial gain.” DeSantis said he’s further creating the Public Health Integrity Committee because he distrusts the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 6. Putin readies massive Yars nuclear missile capable of hitting US and UK - New York Post
Russian tyrant Vladimir Putin has reasserted his nuclear threat against the West by appearing to prepare for combat use a massive nuclear missile that is capable of hitting both the US and UK.
Footage released Wednesday shows the installation of a massive Russian Yars rocket into a silo at the Kozelsk military compound in the Kaluga region southwest of Moscow.
The intercontinental ballistic missile has a range of 7,500 miles and was installed in a silo launch pad using a special transport and loading unit, according to the Mirror. (Read more)

7. House report alleges link between China bioweapons program, COVID-19 pandemic - Just the News
The minority staff report from Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee has alleged a link between the origins of the COVID-19 virus, which wreaked a lethal havoc worldwide beginning in 2019, and the Chinese bioweapons program.
"[W]e conclude that there are indications that SARS-CoV-2 [COVID-19] may have been tied to China's biological weapons research program and spilled over to the human population during a lab-related incident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
The [Intelligence Community] failed to adequately address this information in its classified Updated Assessment. When we attempted to raise the issues with the IC, it failed to respond," the report's summary reads, according to Fox News.
The Republicans referenced an Oct. 2021 report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that was skeptical of COVID-19's origins as a possible bioweapon. (Read more)

8. Rep. Steube plans to refer Twitter’s Jack Dorsey for criminal prosecution, alleging ‘he lied to Congress’ - Just The News
Congressman Greg Steube says he plans to criminally refer former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for alleging lying to Congress in the wake of the releasing of the ‘Twitter Files’ by Elon Musk. The Florida Representative comments that Dorsey, “testified in multiple different committees over the last several years. And in my opinion, he lied to Congress, which is a felony an a offense.
And if the Michael Cohen's of the world, who worked for Trump, can get prosecuted for it than [Dorsey] should too.”
Steube comments that, “the great thing about the Republican majority in the House, regardless of what happened in the Senate, is we have subpoena power now, oversight authority now, and the ability to call these people in, put them under oath and make prosecutorial referrals to the DOJ.” Saying, “in my opinion, Jack Dorsey lied to Congress and we highlighted a bunch of tweets where we mirrored what he said in these different committees, with what has now been dumped, and we know to be a fact. They knew what was going on, they were 100%, censoring individuals, and he lied to Congress. 9. China Sends 18 Nuclear-Capable Bombers to Harass Taiwan - Brietbart
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said on Tuesday that, during the previous 24 hours, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China sent 18 Xian H-6 nuclear-capable bombers into Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) — a record number of bombers in a single day for China’s intimidating flights across the Strait of Taiwan.
The Taiwanese military said the H-6 bombers were accompanied by a Shaanxi Y-8 propeller transport aircraft configured for anti-submarine warfare, another Y-8 configured for reconnaissance, and a Shenyang J-11 air superiority fighter. Three surface warships and eight other military aircraft were detected in the area
Sheu added that China’s bombers appeared to be configured not for nuclear warfare, but to “attack Taiwanese military targets but most importantly to deny foreign reinforcement, such as from U.S. aircraft carriers.” (Read more)

It’s sex here, sex there, sex everywhere. The government is promoting sex. Joe Biden is promoting sex. Sex. Sex. Sex. That’s what the government is about these days. Biden and his merry crew celebrated the “Respect for Marriage Act” signing, which codifies same sex marriage into law, by using the occasion to promote sexual grooming and exploitation of your children and grandchildren. Hey, just telling it the way it is. On the invitation list was drag queen activist Marti Cummings, whose Twitter account is private, but his tweets were outed by some of his liberal buddies. This is a guy who said, and forgive me in advance for this quote, that “the kids are out to sing and suck D.” That’s Joe Biden’s guest.
Cummings said anyone who thinks drag isn’t for children is wrong. Announcing his invitation to the Respect for Marriage Act signing, Cummings tweeted (according to Brietbart and other sources), “To be a non binary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen. Thank you President & Dr. Biden for inviting me to this historic bill signing. Grateful doesn’t begin to express the emotions I feel.” Well, Mr. Cummings, there are a lot of us in America that agree with you. We would have never imagined that this would happen. So Biden and his wife are showcasing what this Respect for Marriage Act is by inviting a sexual predator to the White House? Couching the obvious in neat little scientific terms like “non-binary” and “drag artist” is just putting lipstick on the Artiodactyla Suidae. Perverts in the White House. Read More

Knowing the critical distinction between each alert can mean the difference between life and death and prepare you for the necessary steps to take when considering the threat of severe weather.
Because of the dangerous and destructive nature of tornadoes, it's important to know the critical difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning when an alert comes through on your phone or on TV. It can mean the difference between life and death.
Tornado watches, commonly issued a few hours before a severe storm could hit, are meant to alert the public of a developing threat for tornadoes and indicate the need to be prepared and remain vigilant. Watches are issued for broad areas where conditions exist for the development of twisters.
Tornado warnings, on the other hand, are more urgent alerts in which people need to take action and seek shelter right away. They are often issued minutes before a tornado strikes for highly localized areas where a tornado is imminent or has been detected on radar.

Doctors Sue FDA Over Approval of Chemical Abortion Drugs

A group of medical doctors and organizations argues that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration illegally approved chemical abortion drugs, and has filed a lawsuit to remove such pills form the market. “We believe that women should be empowered with accurate information, and what we’ve seen in this chemical abortion push is deception from square one, and this is wrong,” says Dr. Donna Harrison, a board-certified OB-GYN who is chief executive officer of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
The Christian legal organization Alliance Defending Freedom recently filed suit in federal court on behalf of four physicians and four groups, including Harrison’s organization. Harrison and attorney Erik Baptist, a senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, join this episode of “The Daily Signal Podcast” to explain how chemical abortion drugs first entered the market and why suing the FDA was necessary. - Lord, thank you for Doctors that are boldly standing firm against abortion drugs, that bring not only violent death but also harm to the mother's body. In Jesus name, let there be VICTORY, ending the use of chemical-abortion drugs and bringing harsh judgement upon the FDA! We repent for the nation's support of "convenience pills" rather than honoring precious life. Have mercy on America!-In Jesus mighty name. Amen
