U.N. Climate Summit Wraps Up Without Agreement to Eliminate Fossil Fuels
|
|
The unhappy COP28 climate alarmism summit in Dubai rolled into its final scheduled day on Tuesday without the crown jewel sought by hardcore activists: a worldwide agreement to phase out fossil fuels.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), host of this year’s summit, released a draft copy of the grand finale climate agreement on Monday that did not include language calling for a rapid phase-out of fossil fuels. Instead, the draft called on all nations to reduce “consumption and production of fossil fuels” in a “just, orderly, and equitable manner.”
Climate activists erupted in fury at what they called a “weak” agreement that would not do enough to reduce carbon emissions. Many of them were already unhappy that COP28 was hosted by a fossil fuel superpower and presided over by no less than the chief executive of the UAE national oil company, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
Al Jaber has been an outspoken critic of the proposed fossil fuel phase-out since before the summit began.
“I’m not in any way signing up to any discussion that is alarmist. There is no science out there, or no scenario out there, that says that the phase-out of fossil fuel is what’s going to achieve 1.5C,” Al Jaber said during an online event in November, referring to the climate goal of keeping planetary temperature increases below 1.5 degrees Centigrade above pre-industrial levels.
“Please help me, show me the roadmap for a phase-out of fossil fuel that will allow for sustainable socioeconomic development, unless you want to take the world back into caves,” he added.
No one else at the online conference was able to provide the science or sustainable development plans the sultan requested, but he emerged as the villain of the exchange in the eyes of climate activists, who were not among his biggest fans, to begin with. Al Jaber later insisted his remarks during the online event were “taken out of context” and indicated he might be willing to support a phase-out plan. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Abba, the Biden Regime backed by the Deep State was stopped from creating an agreement to phase out all fossil fuels as part of the COP28 climate summit. Thank you Jesus for Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber's refusal to allow that language to become part of the final agreement.
We ask you to continue protecting the US and all the countries in your world who need fossil fuel to keep their economies up and growing. We ask you to silence the voices of John Kerry and others whose intentions are to destroy world economies, making them vulnerable to being taken over and controlled by the Deep State and other Elites. We ask you to continue giving wisdom to Sultan Al Jabers as he requires proof showing that elimination of fossil fuels will have the impact stated by the climate activists. We ask this in the name Elohim, God "Creator, Mighty and Strong".
"In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him."

The Georgia State Farm Center Election Night Report Is Proof that Chris Wray’s FBI Was in on the Election Fraud Cover-Up and More
|
|
This is the second part to our series on the FBI report on illicit and illegal election night activities at the State Farm Center in Atlanta, Georgia on November 3, 2020.
As reported on Monday – Chris Wray’s FBI, along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office, released a report in June 2023 where they announced that they “did not uncover any violations” during their investigation of the late-night ballot counting at The State Farm Center in Atlanta, Georgia on Election Day November 3, 2020.
According to the report, “Teams of investigators from the FBI, GBI, and Georgia SOS conducted independent and simultaneous interviews of Fulton County elections workers who were involved in the processing and scanning of absentee ballots at State Farm Arena on Election Night on November 3, 2020. Investigators from the three law enforcement agencies also reviewed the entire unedited security video footage of the events in question at State Farm Arena. SOS investigators independently interviewed party observers who were present at State Farm Arena that evening.”
They say they did not uncover any violations or evidence of wrongdoing. That’s because they hid it from their report. (Be sure to read the full report by going here.)

- Abba, thank you for the video of what transpired on election night 2020 in the Georgia State Farm Center. We ask you to raise up more and more Republicans in leadership in Georgia and in Washington to demand a proper investigation into what took place that night and an in depth explanation of what this video shows.
We ask that everything still in darkness be brought to light. We ask that Sec of State, Brad Raffensperger, FBI head Chris Wray, and theGeorgia Bureau of Investigation be held accountable for releasing their report 3 years AFTER the election saying, "they did not uncover any violations", in the face of the facts shown in the video.
We ask you to bring each person involved in this coverup to account, that they be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the Mighty One of Jacob.
- "He reveals the deep things of darkness,
and brings utter darkness into the light."

Biden calls on Netanyahu to change makeup of government coalition
|
|
The American president said the current Israeli government "does not want a two-state solution" with the Palestinians
U.S. President Joe Biden said Monday that unlike Washington, the Israeli government "does not (want) a two-state solution" with the Palestinians.
“This is the most conservative government in the history of Israel,” Biden said, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “strengthen and change” the structure of the current Israeli governing coalition.
Netanyahu on Tuesday spoke about his "disagreements" with the American leader on their long-term vision for Gaza once the conflict in the Gaza Strip ends.
This is the first time since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 that the 81-year-old Democrat has publicly expressed his differences with the current Israeli government.

- Abba, we thank you for Benjamin Netanyahu's strength in the midst of great turmoil and suffering in Israel. We ask that he not allow voices from outside of Israel to intimidate him. We ask that YOU be his guide as he walks out this very dangerous place in Israel's history. We ask you to give him supernatural vision, to see what the plans of the enemy are and to respond with your wisdom and understanding of what is ahead. Show him Your presence, give him trust to follow Your words even when he can't see the pathway. We ask you to instill in his heart a knowledge of You and Your goodness. Remind him that You have always been and are the God who fights for Israel. In your word You say that You will fight those who fight against Israel and we claim that promise right now for your people in Jesus' name. We ask this in the name Jehovah Sabaoth, the Host of Heaven's Armies.
- "But the Lord says,
"The captives of warriors will be released,
and the plunder of tyrants will be retrieved.
For I will fight those who fight against you,
and I will save your children."

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu gets a briefing about the unit’s work and the interrogation procedures.
He then tells the unit’s soldiers that “we are continuing until the end, until victory, until the elimination of Hamas” — even in the face of international pressure. “Nothing will stop us,” he says.
He expresses appreciation for the military’s work in Gaza, adding that “yesterday we had a very tough day” when 10 soldiers were killed in a Hamas ambush in the Strip’s north.

2. Spokesman Eylon Levy: World wants us to give Hamas the fuel used to burn Israelis - Israel National News
Israeli Government Spokesman Eylon Levy, who became a viral sensationafter raising his eyebrows in shock at a question from a Sky News reporter if Israel's agreement to free three terrorists for every innocent hostage Hamas freed meant that Israel valued the lives of Palestinian Arabs less, spoke to Israel National News - Arutz Sheva about his first visit to southern Israel following the massacre of October 7, when Hamas terrorists massacred over 1,200 people and kidnapped 240 people.
"I've been talking non-stop on tv and radio about the atrocities of 10/7, but nothing really prepares you to visit the scene of the massacre itself," Levy said of his visit to Kfar Aza. "And you see that although they've cleaned up the bodies and the worst excesses of the atrocities, time has stood still. It was the sixth night of Hanukkah last night, and the sukkot were still up exactly where they stood at 6:30 in the morning when Hamas invaded and launched that terrible massacre."
"Nothing can really prepare you for going up to a house and seeing that they've written on the door: 'human remains on the sofa. No 'bodies on the sofa,' 'human remains on the sofa. And you can only imagine what happened to the poor couple inside the house that that was all that was found of them on the sofa," he said.
He said that it was during this visit that he realized that Hamas had used cans of fuel brought in from Gaza to burn many of its victims, some the bodies of victims who had already been killed, others who were burned alive. (Read more)

3. Gun Sales, License Applications Skyrocket in Israel Amid Gaza War - Algemeiner
Sales and license applications for guns in Israel have spiked to unprecedented levels during Israel’s war with Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
Since the war started on Oct. 7 — when Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel, murdered 1,200 people, and kidnapped 240 others as hostages — a growing number of civilians have viewed arming themselves as essential. Most of the people murdered on Oct. 7 were unarmed civilians.
According to government numbers, more than 265,000 Israelis have applied for a firearms license between Oct. 7 and early December — six times the total number of applications from 2022, despite only covering a two-month period. Earlier this year, there were around only 36,000 applications.
Roughly 85,000 licenses and conditional permits have been issued in the recent period. Last year, 12,896 gun-carrying licenses were issued, and 10,000 were issued in 2021.

5. Israeli hospital doctors refuse to treat terrorists - World Israel News
Doctors at HaSharon Hospital warned that the wounded terrorist who underwent an operation on Tuesday is “the first and the last case” of a terrorist receiving treatment at the hospital.
The terrorist, who had sustained a limb injury, was sent to HaSharon from Beilison, where the doctors refused to treat him.
Although he ultimately received the surgery when he was sent back to HaSharon, the hospital’s anesthesia department wrote a letter declaring their refusal to treat terrorists in the future, and that terrorists should instead receive care at military and prison hospitals.
The letter said, as reported by Channel 7, “We the anesthesia department of Hasharon Hospital, unanimously refuse to treat murderers (except for life-saving procedures).” (Read more)

1. Texas Woman Leaves State for Abortion Amid Legal Battle Over Medical Exemption - All Sides
A Texas woman is traveling out-of-state to receive an abortion after the Texas Supreme Court halted a lower court’s decision granting her an exemption from the state’s abortion ban.
Kate Cox is 20 weeks pregnant with a fetus diagnosed with Edwards’ syndrome, a genetic defect that results in the fetus not surviving the full term at least 95% of the time. Cox filed a lawsuit last week seeking an emergency abortion, stating that doctors had informed her that carrying the fetus to term would put her future fertility and life at risk. A judge ruled in her favor, but Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton intervened in the case and asked the state Supreme Court to rule on the issue.
The state Supreme Court paused the lower court’s decision on Friday night. Now, Cox is reportedly leaving Texas to seek the procedure in another state. (Read more)
- Lord God we pray for the Cox family. We lift them up to you that you would comfort them with your perfect shalom in this hard time. We speak healing over this child that it would be supernaturally healed from this diagnosis in Jesus name. We pray for all for parents to know that there is hope when facing difficult fetal diagnoses, that there are life-affirming options rather than abortion. We pray that the Cox family and other parents have an understanding that God can redeem even the most heartbreaking circumstances for His glory. Amen.
- -I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me." (Jer. 32:27)

2. Senate passes mammoth annual defense policy bill - The Hill
The Senate on Wednesday passed the annual defense policy bill, a compromise $886 billion package that lays out how the Pentagon will be funded through the next fiscal year.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday urged senators to pass the NDAA as the U.S. faces challenges across the globe.
“At a time of huge trouble for global security, doing the defense authorization bill was more important than ever,” Schumer said on the Senate floor. “Passing the NDAA enables us to hold the line against Russia, stand firm against the Chinese Communist Party and ensure that America’s defenses remain state-of-the-art.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) also championed the NDAA for bolstering national security and ridding the Defense Department of cultural politics.
House lawmakers will next take up the legislation. The bill faces resistance in the House from far-right lawmakers who are opposed to the package, in part because it fails to include House-passed provisions to rid the Pentagon of what they say are “woke” policies. (Read more)
- Father God, we do thank You that the NDAA has now been passed in the Senate. We ask that any further adjustments to its policy that are according to Your will be written into this bill when it reaches the floor of the House. In Your Name, amen,

3. More than 70 lawmakers call on Harvard, MIT, UPenn to fire presidents following testimony - Just The News
group of 74 lawmakers across the political spectrum have called on the governing boards of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University to remove their presidents following testimony they gave this week addressing antisemitism on college campuses.
Led by New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik and Florida Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz, the group highlighted a rise in reported antisemitism on campus, citing data from the Anti-Defamation league and Hillel International, claiming that "73% of Jewish college students surveyed have experienced or witnessed some form of antisemitism on campus since the beginning of the school year."
“This is unacceptable. Antisemitism has been allowed to fester on campuses for years, and in the wake of the October 7[th] attack, the world is witnessing the consequences," they continued. "This is a clear result of the failure of university leadership. To hold universities accountable, Congress held a hearing on confronting antisemitism. Testimony provided by presidents of your institutions showed a complete absence of moral clarity and illuminated the problematic double standards and dehumanization of the Jewish communities that your university presidents enabled." 4. Whitmire’s lopsided win in the Houston mayoral runoff came amid low turnout, results show - Houston Landing
The number of people voting in the Houston mayor’s runoff dropped by more than 50,000 from last month’s general election as state Sen. John Whitmire rolled to victory over U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee.
The low turnout in the runoff election – only 17 percent of Houston voters in Harris County cast ballots – continues a distressing trend in local elections. Year after year, few Houstonians turn out to vote. When some of the most important contests produce December runoffs, even fewer people show up. This year, the dropoff was 20 percent.
The short lines at polling places may have hurt Whitmire’s opponent more than it did him, according to an analysis of precinct results.
Whitmire grew his vote total in his 20 best-performing precincts in the Nov. 7 election by 25 percent in the runoff, in Harris County precincts with more than 100 voters. Jackson Lee’s support dropped by 9 percent in her best precincts. (Read more)
- Father, we pray that we will elect righteous leaders who love mercy and justice and will honor and obey You. We pray that elected officials will recognize that they are first accountable to God, then to the citizens they represent. We pray Lord that this attitude happens with our representatives that people have confidence in their representatives and the voting process, and that that they would show up to make their voice heard in elections. In Jesus name, Amen.

5. Republican's blockade of military promotions ends as Pentagon's abortion travel policy continues - Christian Post
A monthslong blockade of President Joe Biden's military appointments has come to an end as the U.S. senator who led the effort remains committed to continuing holds on the most high-ranking promotions unless the Biden administration agrees to abandon its effort to fund abortion travel across state lines for service members.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., ended his blockade on military promotions Tuesday, nine months after he began placing a hold on such nominations as a result of the Pentagon's policy allowing female service members to receive "travel and transportation allowances" to travel out-of-state to obtain an abortion if they live in a state where the procedure is prohibited. 6. Supreme Court Will Hear Challenge to Abortion Pill Access - The New York Times
The Supreme Court announced on Wednesday that it would decide on the availability of a commonly used abortion pill, the first major case involving abortion on its docket since it overturned the constitutional right to the procedure more than a year ago.
The move sets up a high-stakes fight over the drug, mifepristone, that could sharply curtail access to medication that is used in more than half of all pregnancy terminations in the United States. It could also have implications for the regulatory authority of the Food and Drug Administration, which approved the pill more than two decades ago.
The Supreme Court is now in the unusual position of ruling on abortion access even after its conservative majority declared that it would leave that question to the states. Until the court issues a decision, the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of the drug remains in place, delaying the potential for an abruptly limiting access to the medication. (Read more)
- Lord God we thank you for the righteous decision that the Supreme Court made to overturn Roe v. wade. And we stand in faith and believe that the same will be done in this situation. We cover the court in the blood of Jesus and come against all backlash, bribes, and evil that would try to persuade the court's decision in Jesus' name amen.

7. Ivy League schools founded to promote virtue, godliness have 'drifted radically' and 'forgotten their roots' - Fox News
Ivy League administrators of two colleges rejected their schools’ foundational values of faith, morality and virtue last week when they failed to condemn threats of genocide on campus, several education and religious leaders told Fox News Digital this week.
“They’ve drifted radically from their founding principles," said former U.S. Department of Education Secretary William Bennett about some of America's most prestigious universities.
"They’ve forgotten their roots and their moorings," he said.
Such failures have elicited outrage toward Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, while leaders of elite colleges face charges that they have lost the ability to tell right from wrong, once so central to their missions.
Both Harvard and Penn, along with other Ivy League schools, were established to glorify God, instill piety and encourage America’s brightest young scholars to channel their intellect for the greater good — according to the schools' own foundational statements. (Read more)
- Lord God, we pray that all the faculty that run these schools would realize that their rise to greatness was because of Godly principles, values, and morals. And will only remain great if they stay true to these standards. We thank you Lord that your standards never change, and they are always the way for success. Let us return back to our ancient roots in You Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
- “Keep the charge of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn,” (1 Kings 2:3)

8. New York’s high court just blew up the fight for control of the House - Politico
New York’s high court gave Democrats a big leg up in the dogfight for control of the House of Representatives.
The court on Tuesday vacated the ultra-competitive court-drawn congressional map used in the midterms, ordering the map to be redrawn. That process is ultimately controlled by Democrats, so the ruling opens the door for Empire State Democrats to gerrymander the districts, ousting several Republicans in one swoop.
The country’s 2024 congressional map remains far from settled. Aside from New York, there are also a few other big redistricting decisions that courts across the country have to make. (Read more)
- Lord God, we come against all evil agendas and efforts to be dishonest just to gain control and power. We pray over this project that it would be done for the betterment of America and our citizens. We bind all dishonesty and deceitfulness, that it cannot have success in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

But a just weight is His delight.” (Proverbs 11:1)

9. Hunter Biden dodges House deposition but shows up in DC as GOP threatens contempt vote - Washington Examiner
Hunter Biden showed up in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, but not for his scheduled deposition with the House Oversight Committee probing his father. Instead, he delivered a rare public statement outside the Capitol, calling the House Republicans investigating his business dealings guilty of lies and distortions meant to undermine his father's presidency.
"I’m here today to acknowledge that I’ve made mistakes in my life," he said, flanked by his lawyer and Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), "but I’m also here today to correct how the MAGA Right has portrayed me for their political purposes.” “For six years, I’ve been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, where’s Hunter?" he added. "Here’s my answer, I’m right here.”
Hunter Biden had agreed to appear for public testimony, but House Republicans wanted him to meet with them in private first. His refusal to sit down for that private deposition tees up a possible contempt vote by the GOP-led House. (Read more)
- Lord God, we pray that Hunter would stop pointing the blame on others and take accountability and responsibility for his actions. We pray that justice would be done in this case, and it would show everyone that you cannot be above the law based on your last name, your title or position. Amen.

Stupidocrisy: Hate In The Name Of Humanitarianism
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, December 13, 2023
Those who are demonstrating for a free Palestine “from the river to the sea” are the worst kind of hate mongers. This goes far beyond “antisemitism,” the polite way of expressing hate for Jews. The government is quick to condemn, even criminally charge, those who speak against the LGBTQ+ agenda as hate speech, but marching in the streets while shouting a phrase that is code for killing every Jew is apparently OK. But don’t you dare show up in Washington, DC with thoughts that election fraud was a real thing; Or questioning global warming; Or against mandatory vaccines; Or standing for the life of the unborn. But, hey, if you want the extermination of Jews, the streets are yours. This is worse than insane.
Have we become such a “tolerant” society that people have the right to say what they want and demonstrate in the streets even if it is advocating annihilation for an entire people group? How is it that America’s college kids are so stupid that they can say out of one side of their mouth “hate doesn’t live here,” and from the other side “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”? How is it that university presidents can testify before Congress and when put on the spot, dodge and duck like Mohammed Ali, why this hate speech is allowed on their campus’s? Is society so very “tolerant” that decent people have to be bullied by the indecent and barbaric mantra that is a dog whistle or code for genocide? Read More

Blinken: Hamas’ Sexual Violence Against Israel ‘Beyond Anything That I Have Seen’

U.S. Calls Out Hamas’ Sexual Violence ‘Atrocities’
|
|
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said over the weekend that the evidence he has seen of the sexual violence inflicted against Israelis on October 7 is unlike anything he has ever witnessed.
Blinken made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper when asked why the United Nations and the international community has been so slow to condemn Hamas’ sexual atrocities.
“I can’t think of a real reason,” Tapper said. “Well, let me just put it this way. I have heard anti-Semitism hypothesized as a reason why the U.N. and the international community might be so slow to acknowledge this. What do you think?”
Blinken said that he had no idea why “countries, leaders, international organizations were so slow to focus on this, to bring it to people’s attention. I’m glad it’s finally happened.”
“The atrocities that we saw on October 7 are almost beyond human description or beyond our capacity to digest,” he said. “And we have talked about them before. But the sexual violence that we saw on October 7 is beyond anything that I have seen either.”
“And, look, I don’t have a good answer to that question,” he added. “I think it’s a question that these organizations, these countries need to ask themselves.” (The Daily Wire) Read more here.

Supreme Court Accepts Case Challenging Jan. 6 Obstruction Charges
|
|
|
The U.S. Supreme Court will take up a Jan. 6 defendant’s appeal of the Department of Justice’s novel use of evidence-tampering law to prosecute hundreds of defendants for obstruction of Congress.
A miscellaneous order released by the High Court on Dec. 13 granted the petition of Joseph Wayne Fischer, challenging the most widely charged felony in Jan. 6 cases that carries up to 20 years in prison.
The Fischer case is one of three identical petitions for case review by Jan. 6 defendants who were charged with corruptly obstructing an official proceeding, namely a joint session of Congress convened for the counting and certification of Electoral College votes on Jan. 6, 2021.
The DOJ had charged nearly 330 defendants and former President Donald Trump with obstruction as of Dec. 6.
President Trump was charged in August with several counts related to obstruction of the joint session of Congress on Jan. 6. A grand jury indicted him for obstruction of an official proceeding, attempting to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, among other counts.
Marina Medvin, a defense attorney who co-authored a friend-of-the-court brief supporting the challenge of the DOJ’s prosecutions, said the 327 cases at issue should never have been felonies.
“If the case turns in favor of the defendants, this will be life-altering for hundreds of people who were unjustly persecuted for a felony offense instead of the misdemeanor that was crafted by Congress for the trespass behavior at issue,” Ms. Medvin wrote on X.
Fritz Ulrich, a federal public defender who represents Mr. Fischer and filed the Supreme Court petition, told the Epoch Times: “We’re very happy that the Court has decided to clarify the scope of Section 1512(c)(2).” (The Epoch Times) Read more.

- Holy One, we thank You that this case will come before the Supreme Court and we put them all into Your righteous hands, so that they will be held to honor and integrity according to their sacred oath of office, in Jesus' name. We pray for them to hear and judge with unwavering justice in this matter and that the current two-tiered system will be laid waste. Holy King, there are hundreds of patriotic citizens and believers suffering in prisons charged with the same crime as Rep. Jamaal Bowman, yet with very different consequences. We pray for deliverance, light, healing and provision for those imprisoned and would You be the Strong Tower for every one of them through these tribulations, in Jesus' name.
- "and said to the judges, 'Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. Now therefore, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care and do it, for there is no iniquity with the Lord our God, no partiality, nor taking of bribes.'" (2 Chronicles 19:6-7)

Biden Impeachment Inquiry
|
|

The House of Representatives is expected to vote this evening on a resolution authorizing a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. It will be a very close vote because the House is so narrowly divided.
Speaker Mike Johnson set the stage for this vote with an opinion piece in USA Today outlining several serious accusations against the Biden crime family. They are:
- From 2014 to 2019, Biden family members and their affiliate companies received more than $15 million from foreign companies and foreign nationals in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania and China. Biden business associates received an additional $9 million.
- There are at least 22 examples of Joe Biden speaking with or meeting with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates.
- President Biden and the White House have lied multiple times about his involvement in his family’s business schemes.
- Last week, investigators released information showing payments to Joe Biden from Hunter Biden’s business account, which was funded by payments from China.
- Investigators also released an interim report detailing the special treatment Hunter Biden received from Joe Biden’s Justice Department.
- A credible FBI source relayed information about an alleged bribe Joe Biden accepted during his time as vice president.
Speaker Johnson concluded his letter with this vow to discover the truth:
“The American people have a right to know whether the president − through his family − traded official acts for foreign dollars, whether the president is compromised and whether Joe Biden abused his power as president to impede or obstruct the investigation into Hunter Biden. As we have done all along, House Republicans will continue to follow the facts where they lead.”
Speaking for the Biden crime family, Hunter Biden showed up on Capitol Hill this morning. But instead of speaking with House investigators, he held a press conference and then promptly left.

They lost everything’: Mangled homes ‘uninhabitable’ following deadly tornadoes in Tennessee, Southeast
|
|
Communities across four states are recovering after more than a dozen tornadoes struck the Southeast over the weekend.
At least 17 tornadoes struck the Southeast last weekend. One powerful EF3 twister with 150-mph maximum winds struck Clarksville in northern Tennessee, killing three people. In Madison, a suburb of Nashville, three more people were killed by an EF2 tornado. Hundreds were treated at local hospitals.
Paul Logan, Disaster Response Manager for Convoy of Hope, says his staff arrived in Clarksville 12 hours after the storm and have been distributing supplies. Coats, garbage cans, trash bags, rakes, and water are some of the practical items needed.
"People are coming in, saying they lost everything. They are in a situation beyond their ability to deal with," Logan said.
Search and rescue crews, including the Metro Nashville Police Department’s Urban Search and Rescue Team, spent Sunday and Monday searching damaged structures for survivors and clearing debris.
According to a statement from Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency released on Sunday, hundreds of structures had been damaged in Clarksville, 271 with major damage making them uninhabitable. "There are 91 structures that are totally destroyed... the vast majority of these structures are residential dwellings." Read More

'In the Beginning... God':
This NASA Christmas Message Still Resonates 55 Years After Apollo 8
|
|
In December 1968, NASA launched the first manned mission to the moon. No one, not even the astronauts aboard, was certain that they'd be able to return safely. Their journey, the most hazardous and dangerous ever embarked upon, took them to the boundaries of another world, and, even more remarkably, brought peace to their own. It was shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve that something remarkable happened. After spotting the barren, far side of the moon for the first time, the astronauts onboard captured a photo that has since become known as "Earthrise." For all the turmoil, tragedy, and political tumult the world had experienced during 1968, this iconic, indelible image captured the beauty and fragility of our home planet. And then, with more than one billion people watching around the world on television, the astronauts delivered a message to the largest audience in human history. It was a sentiment for all mankind and one straight from the pages of the Bible. As the nation waited in prayerful consideration, astronauts Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders spoke the following words:
"In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:1-10 KJV)
Less than a day later, in the wee hours of Christmas morning 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 began its long journey home, one that covered 250,000 miles, making it the world's longest holiday trip. Apollo 8's mission certainly proved that man could make it to the moon, but more importantly, it demonstrated just how vast our universe and how mighty our God is. "Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.'" (Isaiah 58:8-9)

"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name."

Crown Him with Many Crowns

Words: Matthew Bridges
Music: George Elvey
Scripture: His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. Revelation 19:12
Lyrics:
Crown Him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon His throne.
Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own!
Awake, my soul, and sing
Of Him who died for thee;
And hail Him as thy matchless king
Through all eternity!
Crown Him the Lord of life,
Who triumphed o’er the grave,
And rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save.
His glories now we sing,
Who died, and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring,
And lives that death may die.
Crown Him the Lord of Heav’n,
Enthroned in worlds above,
Crown Him the king to whom is giv’n
The wondrous name of Love.
Crown Him with many crowns,
As thrones before Him fall;
Crown Him, ye kings, with many crowns,
