Lawyer: Newest Indictment Gives Trump Legal Power That He Never Had Before

Former President Donald Trump attorney John Lauro sees at least one silver lining in the Department of Justice’s latest indictment of his client: Trump will get to litigate why he believes the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent.
“In 2020 Mr. Trump’s campaign had a few weeks to gear up and present evidence, and it was very difficult,” Lauro told Fox News host Bret Baier Tuesday night after special counsel Jack Smith announced the 45th president was being indicted in relation to his questioning of the integrity of the 2020 election.
“We now have the ability in this case to issue our own subpoenas, and we will re-litigate every single issue in the 2020 election in the context of this litigation,” Lauro added. “It gives President Trump an opportunity that he has never had before, which is to have subpoena power since January 6 in a way that can be exercised in federal court.” (The Gateway Pundt) Read more here.

Everything Appeared to be a Cover-up: Capitol Hill Police Chief Challenged J6 Narrative in Never Aired Tucker Carlson Interview

In never-before-seen footage that was withheld by Fox News, former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that January 6th was a complete debacle and a "cover up."
"Everything appears to be a cover up," Sund tells Carlson in footage obtained by the National Pulse. "Like I said, I’m not a conspiracy theorist," he continued. "…but when you look at the information and intelligence they had, the military had, it’s all watered down. I’m not getting intelligence, I’m denied any support from National Guard in advance. I’m denied National Guard while we’re under attack, for 71 minutes…" Beginning around 19 minutes into the conversation, Sund tells Tucker: "If I was allowed to do my job as the chief we wouldn’t be here, this didn’t have to happen," adding that he's "pissed off" about being "lambasted in public" over what happened that day.
The full interview has thus far been hidden from the public at the behest of Rupert Murdoch’s increasingly left-wing Fox News channel, which unceremoniously fired its prime time host Tucker Carlson allegedly as part of a private settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. -National Pulse

We Are Now Jailing People for Life Because the Government Does Not Believe in Their Speech

Stephen Miller, the Former Senior Advisor for Policy for President Trump, joined Eric Bolling on Newsmax TV on Wednesday night.
On Tuesday, President Trump was indicted again by the Biden DOJ – the DAY AFTER Hunter Biden’s best friend and business associate Devon Archer testified that the Joe Biden was included on 20 calls when his son was sitting with foreign officials arranging influence peddling deals for the family. Archer also testified that Joe Biden met with Russia’s Yelena Baturina who invested $40 million into Hunter Biden’s real estate ventures. And she also paid Hunter Biden $3.5 million in consulting fees. Joe Biden later excluded Baturina from his Russian sanctions list.
So what happened next? President Trump was indicted by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
For those paying attention, this is not the first time this has happened. There have been at least six times now where new evidence was released implicating the Biden Crime Family and then President Trump was indicted by the Biden regime the very next day.

1. PA pledges diplomatic and legal offensive against Israel after US meeting - Jerusalem Post
The Palestinian Authority pledged to continue its legal and diplomatic offensive against Israel on the international stage, after a meeting with a high-level US delegation in Ramallah failed to produce any results, Palestinian officials said Thursday.
US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli-Palestinian Affairs Andrew Miller led the delegation in talks Wednesday with PLO Executive Committee Secretary-General Hussein al-Sheikh and other PA officials.
There was no real change in the US administration’s position toward the latest developments surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Palestinian officials said after the visit. (Read more)

2. Israeli and Saudi Companies Announce Historic Energy Venture as Business Ties Warm - Algemeiner
Israeli renewable energy company SolarEdge and Saudi Arabian investment conglomerate Ajlan & Bros Holding (ABH) announced earlier this week a joint venture for developing solar energy infrastructure in the oil-rich kingdom as it undertakes to phase out fossil fuels.
Established in 2017, Ajlan & Bros Holding began as a textile business in the 1970s and expanded to become one of the largest holding companies in the Middle East and North Africa, spreading into real estate, manufacturing, and finance. According to its website, Ajlan & Bros placed all its assets under one umbrella after Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman announced “Vision 2030” — an initiative aimed at modernizing Saudi Arabian economy and civil society — in anticipation of forming a public-private sector partnership for furthering its goals.
The joint venture between ABH and SolarEdge follows numerous reports that formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia is imminent, a development that would open a new chapter in the history of Middle East geopolitics. 3. Supreme Court deliberates disqualifying Prime Minister -Israel National News
The Supreme Court on Thursday morning formed a three-judge panel on the petitions to cancel the amendment to the Basic Law, which states that a Prime Minister minister can be declared unable to serve only in a state of physical or mental incapacity.
The petitions were submitted by the Movement for the Quality of Government and the Yisrael Beytenu party.
The hearing was opened by the lawyer Eliad Shraga, the chairman of the movement, who claimed that "Defendant number 2 (Prime Minister Netanyahu) decided to carry out a governmental coup in the State of Israel. He decided to crush the judiciary, he decided to dismantle the rule of the law enforcement system, he decided to dismantle the institution of the Attorney General, he decided to dismantle the prosecutor's office, the police - all the gatekeepers. 4. Church in northern Israel puts up fences to block Jewish pilgrims from praying in its yard, said to be site of biblical prophet - World Israel News
Fences have been erected around the iconic Stella Maris Church in Haifa in a bid to deter the influx of Jewish pilgrims from the Breslov Hassidic movement who maintain that the church stands atop the grave of the Prophet Elisha.
A number of of Jewish visitors have expressed their desire to offer prayers outside the religious establishment, while others have tried to access the yard.
However, the local Arab Christian community views these visits as disruptive, considering them an aggressive intimidation tactic by “ultra-nationalists,” The Times of Israel reported.
The presence of these pilgrims, seen by many Arabs as an attack on the Stella Maris Church, has incited multiple instances of physical clashes between the local Arab population, Christians, and the Jewish visitors, the report said. Law enforcement authorities have had to detain several individuals from both groups in recent weeks.
Ibrahim Ghattas, a local community advocate, referred to these incidents as a “trap set by the far right” in which Arabs could be blamed for the ensuing violence. (Read more)

5. Hezbollah could take possession of Syrian chemical weapons - JNS
Iran is working to seize control of an extensive network of Syrian military industry facilities, collectively known by their French acronym of CERS, or the Scientific Studies and Research Center in English, according to a report released on Wednesday by the Alma Research and Education Center.
The Alma Center is a defense research group that specializes in security challenges faced by Israel in Lebanon and Syria.
The report also warned of the possibility of Hezbollah taking possession of chemical substances present as CERS, which are being stored by the Assad regime, and using them to produce chemical weapons for use against Israeli military forces or civilians in a future conflict. (Read more)

2. Fitch Downgrades US Credit Rating, Citing Erosion of Confidence in Fiscal Management – The Epoch Times
The United States has taken a major hit as Fitch Ratings has lowered its Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating for the country from AAA to AA+.
The U.S. credit rating has been lowered because of "the expected fiscal deterioration over the next three years, a high and growing general government debt burden, and the erosion of governance" over the past two decades, according to the credit rating agency.

Zachary Rehl, a J6 political prisoner and former Proud Boys leader who was found guilty of seditious conspiracy, vows to fight for his innocence until he is “fully exonerated and so no one has to live in fear of persecution for exercising their 1st Amendment rights again.”

5. Three Christians Receive $300,000 Over Wrongful Arrest in 2020 Anti-Mask Protest – The Epoch Times
The wheels of justice often turn slowly but they do turn.
That was the experience of three Idahoans, who after years of legal battles were just paid a $300,000 settlement from their city over a violation of their constitutional right to protest during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.In September 2020, nearly 200 Christians assembled outside of city hall in Moscow, Idaho, to protest a municipal mask and social distancing mandate.
Peaceful, maskless protesters stood shoulder to shoulder in an otherwise empty parking lot singing hymns, causing concern among local officials about the risk that those who chose to gather posed to public health.
Jailed for Obstruction
In a move that drew national attention at the time, the city police approached three of the protestors and asked to see their identification—a request the three initially refused. Gabriel Rench, along with Sean and Rachel Bohnet, were then arrested and cited for violating Public Health Emergency Order No. 20-03, a measure mandating masks and social distancing.
Civil rights attorney and founder of Liberty Counsel Mat Staver said of the case, “Arresting peaceful Christian worshippers exercising their constitutionally-protected rights is a serious threat to freedom. “Public health orders are not a means to circumvent the First Amendment. There is no pandemic pause button on the Constitution.

Severe flooding in Beijing was caused by the heaviest rainfall in 140 years, according to local meteorologists, and there’s little reprieve for the region as Typhoon Khanun lashes Japan with wind and rain.
Between Saturday and Wednesday morning, 744.8 millimeters (29 inches) of rain fell in the Chinese capital from the remnants of Typhoon Doksuri, according to the Beijing Meteorological Service – the heaviest rain over consecutive days since records began in 1883.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Khanun packed winds of 220 kilometers per hour (137 mph) – the equivalent of a Category 4 Atlantic hurricane – as it made its nearest pass to Japan’s southwestern Okinawa islands early Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours, many locations in Okinawa have received 175 to 220 millimeters (6 to 8 inches) of rainfall, according to CNN Weather on Wednesday morning.

There are many parallels between Israel and the United States. The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has been under constant attack by leftists who seek to undermine him and his common sense approach to government. The same type of people have been falsely accusing Donald Trump in attempts to undermine both his presidency and his quest to return to office—much the same as what Netanyahu experienced. AccuWeather’s updated Atlantic hurricane forecast calls for more named storms, and a busy time ahead
|

The season is already pacing well ahead of the historical average, and AccuWeather experts warn that the Atlantic basin could get “very active” in the coming weeks.
The first two months of the 2023 Atlantic hurricane season are in the books, and AccuWeather meteorologists are warning that tropical activity is about to ramp up.
There have already been five storms so far this year, including an unnamed subtropical storm in January, three tropical storms in June and a hurricane in July. The season is pacing ahead of the historical average for the number of named storms to date, and the average date for the fifth storm of the season to form is Aug. 22. Also, the average first date of hurricane development is Aug. 11, so the first hurricane also developed ahead of the average.
"The heart of the season is what we look at very closely; that's basically from the latter part of August through September," AccuWeather Hurricane Expert Dan Kottlowski said.

'Born Again in a Barn': People Encounter Jesus at Ohio Revival

I attended a Christian barn revival in northwest Ohio, and although it had concrete floors and industrial-sized fans, it felt like church. The 4-day barn revival at the Arbor House Barn in Rawson, was full of fellowship, worship, preaching, and prayer each night hosted by Brendon and Anna Reiners, who own Revive Coffee Co. The couple said “yes” to hosting the revival services after they had just moved to the property weeks before without a lot of what was needed, but within five days of the service, they said the Lord provided the sound equipment, chairs, food, and much more. “When you give a ‘yes’ to the Lord it opens up opportunities for other people to say ‘yes’ as well,” Brendon said. “Our goal in hosting the barn revival was for people to encounter Jesus and to minister to Him.” Joshua Fowler, an evangelist from Texas who has preached in all 50 states and around the world, kicked off the humble service Sunday night in the country outside of Findlay. “You’re heard of the saying, ‘Were you born in a barn?'” Fowler began. “A whole lot of people are going to be born again in a barn. God has a harvest of souls…the church is stepping out of the building.”
For a teenager named John that became a reality. On the third night of the revival, he confessed Jesus as Lord and was baptized immediately after the service in an inflatable swimming pool that Brendon filled up in faith before the service. “People of all ages encountered the living God here this week,” the Reiners told me. “We had people set free from demonic oppression, physical healing, emotional and spiritual freedom/healing. We saw the beautiful joy of the Lord rise up and flood the room…We were humbled to meet amazing men and women of God that have traveled the world and said yes to coming…but above all of those amazing things, we had an encounter with Jesus that will mark us for the rest of our lives. Revival and awakening is here and I know it’s only the beginning,” she added. “There is a shift happening in the body of Christ. I believe the ‘fullness of God’ mentioned in Ephesians 3:19 is coming forth and I am excited to join Him in His work.” (Caleb Parke) Read more here.
