China Plans Four Days of Military Drills in Areas Encircling Taiwan
China Plans Four Days of Military Drills in Areas Encircling Taiwan
(Bloomberg) China will conduct large-scale military drills and missile tests around Taiwan in a defiant show of force after House speaker Nancy Pelosi became the highest-ranking US politician to land on the island in a quarter century.

Beijing announced six exclusion zones encircling Taiwan to facilitate live-fire military drills from Thursday to Sunday, with some of the areas crossing into the island’s territorial waters. The size and scope of the areas could set the stage for the Chinese military’s most provocative actions near Taiwan in decades.

Separately, the People’s Liberation Army said exercises could start as soon as Tuesday, leaving open the possibility of military activities around Taiwan while Pelosi was visiting. The operations include “long-range live firing in the Taiwan Strait” and “regular-guided fire testing in the eastern waters” off Taiwan from Tuesday evening, the PLA said.

“This action is targeted at the US’s shocking recent major escalation on the Taiwan issue, and serves as a serious warning to Taiwanese independence forces or those seeking independence,” Shi Yi, a spokesperson for the Eastern Theater Command, said in a statement.

During the military drills, “relevant ships and aircraft should not enter the above sea areas and airspaces during this period,” the official Xinhua News Agency said in a report late Tuesday, which gave coordinates for the exercises.

The exercises highlight the risk that Taiwan tensions could exacerbate existing supply chain woes. The Taiwan Strait is the primary route for ships passing from China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan to points west. Almost half of the global container fleet and 88% of the world’s largest ships by tonnage passed through the waterway this year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. (Read more)

- Father God, we come against these sabre-rattling tactics of the Chinese as Nancy Pelosi and our Congressional dignitaries visit the nation of Taiwan.  We bless this free and sovereign nation, in the name of Jesus, amen and amen. We bind the spirit of aggression and we loose peace. Amen.

- "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)

China: Joe Biden ‘Has a Responsibility to Stop’ Nancy Pelosi from Visiting Taiwan
China: Joe Biden ‘Has a Responsibility to Stop’ Nancy Pelosi from Visiting Taiwan

The Chinese Foreign Ministry issued an infuriated statement on Tuesday condemning Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for visiting Taiwan and insisting that President Joe Biden “has a responsibility to stop” lawmakers from traveling to places Beijing disapproves of.

Pelosi and a small congressional delegation landed in Taiwan on Tuesday evening local time after weeks of speculation, and no confirmation from the Speaker’s office, regarding a potential trip to the island nation. Pelosi published a photo of the delegation on social media describing Taiwan as a “robust, vibrant democracy” and an “important partner” of the United States.

America does not recognize Taiwan as a country, thanks to a policy implemented during the presidency of Jimmy Carter, because doing so would automatically dissolve all diplomatic ties with China. Taiwan is a democratic, sovereign nation off the coast of China that China illegally claims as a “province.” The Chinese Communist Party insists that all countries that seek diplomatic relations with it ignore the reality of Taiwan’s existence as an independent country.

Pelosi and her delegation issued a statement on their commitment to Taiwan upon arriving on the island on Tuesday that notably did not describe Taiwan as a country and emphasized only its status as a “democracy.”

“Our visit is part of our broader trip to the Indo-Pacific — including Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan — focused on mutual security, economic partnership and democratic governance,” the statement read. “Our discussions with Taiwan leadership will focus on reaffirming our support for our partner and on promoting our shared interests… America’s solidarity with the 23 million people of Taiwan is more important today than ever, as the world faces a choice between autocracy and democracy.”

The statement emphasized that the visit “in no way contradicts longstanding United States policy, guided by the Taiwan Relations Act of 1979, U.S.-China Joint Communiques and the Six Assurances,” meaning that Pelosi and the other lawmakers do not recognize Taiwan as a country. - Holy King, this situation is an incredible tangled web of intrigue.  We ask You to take Your sword and cut it asunder, so that there is nothing left of alliances that are used for troubles or deceptions, nor is there anything left of blustering and confusion.  We bless the people of Taiwan and pray for the Spirit of the Living God to break through in waves of glory and presence of God all over this matter, that everyone would fall to their knees in repentance, in Jesus name.

- "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."  (Hebrews 10:31)

‘No’ prevails: Kansas votes to protect abortion rights in state constitution
‘No’ prevails: Kansas votes to protect abortion rights in state constitution

The right to an abortion will remain in the Kansas Constitution.

In the first ballot test of abortion rights in a post-Roe America, Kansas voters turned out in historic numbers to overwhelmingly reject a constitutional amendment that would have opened the door for state lawmakers to further restrict or ban abortions across the state.

The Associated Press called the race at 9:40 p.m central.

The vote stands as a major win for abortion rights advocates, preserving access in a red state as the procedure is banned or severely restricted in much of the region.

It upholds a 2019 Kansas Supreme Court ruling that, in response to an attempt to ban a common 2nd trimester abortion procedure, said Kansans had a right to bodily autonomy and therefore the right to terminate a pregnancy.

The movement against the amendment succeeded in turning a wide swath of no voters out, despite the amendment’s placement on a primary ballot many assumed would favor Republicans. They were able to keep margins in rural counties smaller than anticipated.

Secretary of State Scott Schwab said early in the evening that anecdotal evidence indicated the turnout could match the 2008 presidential race - 63.3%.

More than $12 million was poured into the 20-month campaign,

The race drew national eyes as a potential bellwether for how voters in a Republican state would respond to the abortion question once federally protected rights are gone. (Kansas City Star) Read more here.

- Oh, Holy One! We are so grieved at the news of this vote in the State of Kansas! Lord God Almighty, we are surely a nation under judgment, and we have clearly lost our way. Forgive us, O Lord, we pray, and show us Your mercy! We repent for the evil that now stalks our land, and we cry out to You to be delivered from this evil, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "Deliver us from evil."  (Matthew 6:13)

1. Israel Braces for Gaza Escalation After Arresting Senior Islamic Jihad Leader - United with Israel

Israeli authorities closed highways and train service near the Gaza border on Tuesday morning after IDF forces arrested a senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader in Jenin overnight.

The measures were taken after an IDF situational assessment noted an increase in activity by PIJ personnel in Gaza that posed what the military called “a direct threat of a possible attack on Israeli civilians.”

Bassem Saadi, 62, has been described as the PIJ’s most senior figure in all of Judea and Samaria. He was arrested along with his son-in-law, Ashraf al-Jada, who is also a PIJ operative. Saadi has previously spent time in Israeli prison. (Read more)

(August 1, 2022 / JNS) Brig. Gen. Naama Rosen, 40, was appointed the first female military secretary to the Israeli president on Sunday during a ceremony in Jerusalem at the presidential residence.

Rosen, who was promoted to brigadier general as part of the move, replaces Brig. Gen. Alaa Abu Rochan, who served in the position for the past three years.

“You are making history, and you have made it this far on your own merit,” said Israel’s President Isaac Herzog during the ceremony.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog called on Tuesday for an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse of female guards by prisoners at a maximum security prison with the encouragement of their superiors.

“Hearing the testimonies of the female prison wardens in recent days, I am filled with shock and pain, and I feel sick,” Herzog said in a statement. “We must investigate these cases in depth, so that everyone responsible is held accountable with the fullest severity. That is our obligation.”

Last week, a former soldier who served as a prison guard in the Gilboa Prison in northern Israel wrote an online post under a pseudonym accusing her superior of repeatedly “handing her over” to be raped and sexually assaulted by a Palestinian inmate a few years ago. (Read more)

5. Soldiers restore 1,500-year-old site of ancient convent accidentally damaged by IDF - Times of Israel

A group of IDF soldiers took part over the past month in an effort to uncover anew a 1,500-year-old nuns’ convent said to honor the biblical Hannah near the central town of Shoham, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced Monday.

A small area of the Horbat Hani site located inside a military zone had been unintentionally damaged by army activity, the release said. Soldiers were enlisted to excavate and clean up the convent in a joint educational project between the authority and military called The Nature Defense Forces Program: Officers Take Responsibility for the Environment.

“The Byzantine convent was first excavated twenty years ago by Dr. Uzi Dahari and Dr. Yehiel Zelinger of the Israel Antiquities Authority, and it was subsequently covered up to protect it. It is now visible again, thanks to the project carried out with the soldiers,” the statement read. (Read more)

1. Nancy Pelosi: Taiwan Visit an ‘Unequivocal Statement that America Stands with Taiwan’ – Brietbart

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the Congressional delegation’s visit to Taiwan stands as an “unequivocal statement that America stands” with the “island of resilience.”
The 82-year-old politician landed in Taiwan late Tuesday evening local time, in defiance against China’s warnings, as well as those of the Biden administration:
China’s foreign ministry claims Chinese dictator Xi Jinping recently told President Biden, “Those who play with fire will perish by it,” adding, “It is hoped that the U.S. will be clear-eyed about this.”
Biden previously advised against Pelosi’s trip, stating that the U.S. military assessed that “it is not a good idea right now.” The delegation’s visit is significant, as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich stands as the last official of her level to visit Taiwan, doing so in 1997. (Read more)

2. Illinois Declares State of Emergency over Monkeypox – Breitbart

Illinois on Monday became the latest state to declare a state of emergency due to the current monkeypox outbreak in the United States.
The declaration will expand the state’s resources available to tackle the spread of the viral disease, according to Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D).
The Monkeypox Virus is a rare, but potentially serious disease that requires the full mobilization of all available public health resources to prevent the spread,” Pritzker said in a statement shared on Twitter. “I am declaring a state of emergency to expand the resources and coordination efforts of state agencies in responding to, treating, and preventing the spread of MPV.”
The Hill notes:
“There are currently 5,000 monkeypox cases confirmed in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Illinois currently ranks third in terms of cases — behind New York and California — with 520 confirmed cases.
The World Health Organization has already declared the outbreak of monkeypox in nonendemic countries to be a global health emergency.” (Read more)

- Father, we take authority over this monkeypox drama and command healing over the hearts and minds of this nation and the world.  We bind the CDC and WHO from inciting panic and terror over this issue.  In our lifetimes we've dealt successfully with many diseases, so in Jesus name, we say no to this "rare, but potentially serious disease", because of the stripes of Jesus.

- "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."  (Colossians 2:9-10)

3. Credit Card Debt Jumps Most in 20 Years as Inflation Soars – Breitbart

American households increasingly relied on their credit cards this spring as prices rose at the fastest rate in four decades.
Credit card balances jumped $46 billion in the second quarter of the year. Compared with a year ago, balances are up 13 percent, the largest increase in more than 20 years, according to data released Tuesday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Credit card balances typically rise in the April through June period. This year’s increase was driven by the highest rate of inflation in 40 years. The Consumer Price Index was up 8.6 percent in the quarter compared with a year earlier, the biggest increase since the fourth quarter of 1981.
Gasoline prices, which rose to record highs in the period, are also driving up spending. Food prices were up 10.4 percent compared with a year ago, the most inflation since 1979. Consumers are also spending more on services and travel. Total consumer spending rose 1.1 percent in June, 0.3 percent in May, and 0.5 percent in April.
Incomes have not kept up with inflation. Real average weekly wages fell one percent in June, 0.9 percent May, and were flat in April. Weekly earnings in June were 4.4 percent below the year-earlier level after adjusting for inflation. (Read more)

- While every one of us is feeling this pain, Abba, we know that You have an abundance of wisdom to grant each of us, as we ask, so that we can walk out these difficult days trusting You.  We pray for a dramatic and comprehensive change of direction in government agendas, so that this inflation crisis is averted, in Jesus name.

- "I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth."  (Psalm 121:1-2)

4. California Gov. Gavin Newsom Declares State of Emergency over Monkeypox – Brietbart

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) declared a state of emergency in response to the monkeypox virus, which has thus far mostly affected men who have sex with men.
In a statement on Monday, Newsom said the state of California will be working closely with the federal government to make monkeypox vaccines more readily available while also combatting any stigma the LGBTQ community might face.

“We’ll continue to work with the federal government to secure more vaccines, raise awareness about reducing risk, and stand with the LGBTQ community fighting stigmatization,” Newsom said.  (Read more)

- Lord of Heaven and Earth, this monkeypox virus reminds us sadly of the AIDS virus plight that the world dealt with not so long ago.  We weathered that storm even though it was against the law to ask someone if they were infected or not.  These are evil viruses with terrible effects on people, so Father, we ask You to expose and stop these calamitous afflictions right in their tracks, in Jesus name.

- "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."  (Colossians 3:16)

5Biden DOJ Sues Idaho Over State’s Abortion Law - The Daily Caller

President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing Idaho over a state abortion law in the first such DOJ lawsuit following the Supreme Court’s June 24 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday, alleges that Idaho’s abortion ban, which is set to take effect Aug. 25, will prevent doctors from performing medically necessary abortions and that enforcement will result in women’s deaths. The lawsuit lists ectopic pregnancies and severe preeclampsia as conditions that doctors would be prevented from treating under the law.

Idaho’s abortion ban was passed in 2020 as a “trigger law” set to go into effect after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The law threatens healthcare professionals who perform criminal abortions with two to five years in prison and requires those who do perform abortions to prove that they did so to save the life of the mother. (Read more)

- Holy King, we know that Idaho is one of many states with "trigger laws" going into effect which will save the lives of pre-born babies.  It is appalling that the U.S. government DOJ sees fit to use our tax money to file this lawsuit against Idaho, rather than discussing the issues. Thank You Lord, that Idaho is implementing the will of the people, as they are expected.  We bind and rebuke this hostile agenda against Idaho and other states, in Jesus name.  We rebuke the overreach of the federal government and command it to submit to the will of the people of this nation, in Jesus name.

- "The Lord also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel."  (Joel 3:16)

6. Biden announces White House monkeypox response - Fox News

President Biden on Tuesday announced a team to coordinate and manage the White House’s monkeypox response efforts, as the virus spreads in cities and states across the nation.

The president named Robert Fenton, a regional administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to serve as White House National Monkeypox Response Coordinator, and Dr. Demetre Daskalakis to serve as the deputy coordinator.

"Fenton and Deaskalakis will lead the administration’s strategy and operations to combat the current monkeypox outbreak, including equitably increasing the availability of tests, vaccinations and treatments," the White House said Tuesday.
Fenton has twice served as acting administrator of FEMA and has led "multiple challenging prevention, response and recovery operations" throughout his career. (Read more)

- Father, we take authority over this monkeypox virus and command it to dissipate into nothingness, in Jesus Mighty Name.  We bind and rebuke every agency that is intent on fomenting fear, terror, hysteria yet again.  We will not tolerate such activities against the citizens of this nation and the earth, because of the blood of Jesus.  There is nothing new under the sun and we command all these foul diseases to be brought under the authority of Almighty God and be removed from the hands of mankind utterly, in Jesus Holy Name.

7. Trump endorses 'Eric' for open Missouri Senate seat — but doesn't say which one - Washington Examiner

Former President Donald Trump is endorsing "Eric" in a race for Missouri's open Senate seat that features two top candidates with that first name.

The message from Trump's Save America PAC on Monday, which does not specify whether Trump actually supports state Attorney General Eric Schmitt or scandal-ridden former Gov. Eric Greitens, comes just one day before Republican voters are set to head to the polls in the Show Me State.

"There is a BIG Election in the Great State of Missouri, and we must send a MAGA Champion and True Warrior to the U.S. Senate, someone who will fight for Border Security, Election Integrity, our Military and Great Veterans, together with having a powerful toughness on Crime and the Border," Trump said. "We need a person who will not back down to the Radical Left Lunatics who are destroying our Country. I trust the Great People of Missouri, on this one, to make up their own minds, much as they did when they gave me landslide victories in the 2016 and 2020 Elections, and I am therefore proud to announce that ERIC has my Complete and Total Endorsement!" (Read more)

- We pray for the people of Missouri to know who it is that God wants in the seat and may he or she stand firm and strong in support of Godly values and morality.  We pray for justice in the system of voting in the state of Missouri (and every state).  Thank You Father because You know who You have appointed for the position, so may they be victorious.

- "Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;"  (2 Peter 3:14)

8. Woman who underwent double mastectomy and hormone therapy to become male after tells of her regret - The Daily Mail

A woman who says she was allowed to transition to male after just two and a half hours of counselling is speaking out after she decided to 'detransition' to female. Sam, 26, decided to pay for private therapy sessions when she began to question her gender identity when she was just 21, after she was told she would have to wait two and a half years for an NHS appointment.

She was initially thrilled when she was given a private appointment, and after self-diagnosing herself as a trans man after doing research online, was given the go ahead to begin hormone therapy and undergo a double mastectomy after just two hour-long appointments with a doctor.

Just two years after she began the hormone treatment and after a double mastectomy, she began suffering health complications, and realised she did not want to go ahead with full gender reassignment surgery.
By the time her initial NHS appointment came through, she began to realise she had made a mistake - and told doctors she was now seeking help transitioning back to a woman. (Read more)

- Oh Abba, we pray for these people who have been seduced into the world of "transitioning".  This is such a radical and permanent alteration of the beautiful human frame that you have uniquely fashioned for each and every single child you created.  Father, we ask You to Father these ones, and grant us wisdom and compassion to speak into the lives of young teens to adults with love and Godly guidance.  We rebuke the devourer of our God-given image, in Jesus name and speak life over the gender-confused people.

- "For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–is not of the Father but is of the world."  (1 John 2:16)

9. MSNBC columnist claims American Christians are holding US women 'hostage' - Fox News

MSNBC columnist Zeeshan Aleem warned that America is enduring a "crisis" that is "rooted in an excess of religion," to the point where the country is becoming a "Christian theocracy." Despite being raised in a Muslim household himself, he did not pull his punches when singling out other religions for being problematic in American political institutions, warning the Christian-right is "fueled by a radically reactionary Supreme Court that is two-thirds Catholic."

"The overturning of Roe v. Wade means the lives of women across the country are being held hostage by a conservative Christian conception of life," he wrote.
Aleem blasted Republican politicians for invoking their Christian faith in their opposition to transgender rights and abortion.

In response to the alleged crisis, Aleem proposed an "energetic, organized atheist movement — which I propose calling ‘communitarian atheism’" to be the solution, claiming it "would provide an effective way to guard against the twin crises of intensifying religious extremism on one end, and the atomizing social consequences of a plunge in conventional religiosity on the other." (Read more)

- Father, we stand in absolute opposition to this man's hatred for Christianity and bind his words and render them babble and silent, in Jesus name.  We will not sit by while our faith is impugned and degraded in the public arena as this Islamic columnist spews unfounded accusations against Christians.  We rebuke the strength of his words and cast them down as ashes trampled under our feet, in Jesus name.  We ask You, Holy One, to encounter this man in a way so that he will know that there is a living God whose name is Jesus, and through the power of the Cross, we offer him forgiveness.

- ". . . Then I heard a voice saying:  'Can a mortal be more righteous than God?  Can a man be more pure than his Maker?'"  (Job 4:16c-17)
10. HOW THE RNC HAS BEEN WORKING ON SECURING ELECTION INTEGRITY PRIOR TO MIDTERMS - Breitbart

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has hit multiple election integrity milestones with 100 days left before midterm election night when millions of voters will go to the polls, Breitbart News has learned.

The RNC, the central committee for the Republican Party responsible for various actions such as fundraising and election strategy, has continued its multi-million-dollar investment into election integrity for the midterm elections.

These investments include 17 state election integrity directors and 28 in-state election integrity councils, who have recruited tens of thousands of poll watchers and workers in battleground states across the country.

With 100 days left before the election, the RNC has surpassed a significant milestone with over 32,000 poll watchers in primary, general, and special elections so far this cycle. In addition, they have made over 65,000 unique volunteer engagements and have held over 2,700 Election Integrity trainings.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Breitbart News, “Since the start of the cycle, we’ve made a multi-million dollar investment in our Election Integrity program, from engaging in over 50 lawsuits to recruiting thousands of poll watchers and poll workers to ensure transparency at the ballot box.”

The chairwoman added that the committee is “firing on all cylinders to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat,” as the RNC was able to have 100 percent coverage of all the key polling locations in battleground states throughout the primary season, where elections have run smoothly and turnout has increased. The Wrong Direction

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, August 2, 2022

A recent poll of 1,000 registered voters conducted by Suffolk University and USA Today indicated that the country is headed in the wrong direction, most of the country does not approve of the job Joe Biden is doing, and that the economy, abortion and inflation are the top issues on voters’ minds. Now just to prove how the voting public is double-minded, if the elections for Congress were today, 44 percent said they would vote for the Democratic candidate, 40 percent for the Republican candidate and almost 16 percent were undecided. Then almost 47 percent of those very same voters said they wanted a congress that “Stands up to President Biden” rather than cooperates with him. But wait, there’s more.

Some 46% of voters said they were paying a lot or a fair amount of attention to the January 6 special House committee hearings, while 53% said they were not following the hearings very much or none at all. Only 16% said they were more likely to support a congressional candidate who has been endorsed by Donald Trump and campaigns with him, while 44% said they were less likely to support such a candidate. This is an interesting finding since Trump-endorsed congressional candidates have been winning their primaries across the country. This poll was balanced 32% Democrat, 31% Republican, 30% Independent, and 7% other or refused. This ballot question does not bode well for Republicans this fall, especially when 44% said they would vote for the Democratic candidate. See the trend at this moment? Read More

Deadly McKinney Fire continues to burn out of control across Northern California
The state's largest fire this year only grew stronger on Monday, surpassing 55,000 acres of destruction and forcing thousands to evacuate their homes.

A massive, raging wildfire exploded to life late last week in Northern California and has since become the largest wildfire of the year so far in the state, leaving fatalities and structural damage in its wake. AccuWeather forecasters say weather conditions in the coming days will only cause more trouble for firefighters trying to contain the monster blaze.

The McKinney Fire began on Friday afternoon in the Klamath National Forest, a California forest located near the border with Oregon. It then grew rapidly over the weekend and had already ripped through more than 52,000 acres by Sunday night.

Two victims of the blaze were found Sunday morning in a burned vehicle located west of Klamath River, California, within the path of the McKinney Fire, the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a Facebook post on Monday. The victims' identities have not yet been released. Read More

The Good News Corner
Louisiana’s near-total abortion ban can take effect, court rules
The ruling will force the state's abortion clinics to shut down for the third time since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

BATON ROUGE (LifeSiteNews) – A Louisiana appeals court has ruled that the state can once again enforce a ban on abortion throughout pregnancy, in a major victory for pro-lifers in the Pelican State.

The Louisiana 1st Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday granted Attorney General Jeff Landry’s request to let the ban take effect while the state appeals a lower court ruling that blocked it last week.

Louisiana’s trigger law, enacted in 2006 and revised in June, bans abortion from “fertilization and implantation” except when necessary to preserve the mother’s life or prevent a serious physical injury or if an unborn baby is deemed “medically futile.” Many pro-life advocates argue that there is never a circumstance in which abortion is medically necessary.

Judge Donald Johnson of the 19th District in Baton Rouge had issued a preliminary injunction against the law on July 21 at the request of abortion providers.

“Louisiana’s pro-life trigger laws can be enforced,” Landry tweeted on Friday. “The First Circuit has ordered Judge Johnson to grant our suspensive appeal.” (LifeSite News) Read more here.

Scripture: How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:17–18

Lyrics:
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward to Thy glorious rest above!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!
How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore!
How He watches o’er His loved ones, died to call them all His own;
How for them He intercedeth, watcheth o’er them from the throne!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
’Tis an ocean full of blessing, ’tis a haven giving rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!
