Kamala Harris, DNC undertaking 'largest gaslighting operation' in history of politics, says House speaker
|
|
House Speaker Mike Johnson joined "America's Newsroom," Tuesday, to call out Democrats for claiming at the DNC that Americans are doing well under the Biden-Harris administration. The Louisiana Republican called the Democrats' rhetoric "the largest gaslighting operation in the history of American politics" and predicted former President Trump will defeat VP Kamala Harris.
MIKE JOHNSON: What we're witnessing right now is the largest gaslighting operation in the history of American politics. Everything that we're seeing at the convention, everything they're saying is patently untrue. They're trying to convince the American people that what we're seeing and experiencing and feeling isn't real. And so that's why they're out there touting the economy when they broke the economy. Clearly, inflation is at record highs and everyone is struggling, and they're looking right into the camera and trying to pretend like everything's great. They've put us in jeopardy on the world stage. They've appeased our adversaries. And that's why we have hot wars around the globe right now. They've opened the border wide, and that is a catastrophe in every city and every state around the country. They want people to believe that what we're seeing is not actually true, and it's not going to work. I think they're on a sugar high right now. I think they'll come off of that after the convention. And the real campaign starts after Labor Day, as it does every presidential cycle. And I'm absolutely convinced we're going to grow the House majority, win back the Senate for the Republican Party and Donald Trump is going to be returning to the White House because of all of this. Planned Parenthood Offers Free Mobile Abortions On Streets Of Chicago During DNC
|
|
America’s biggest abortion company is peddling its deadly services at this year’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Planned Parenthood Great Rivers (PPGR) announced on social media last week that it has teamed up with the Chicago Abortion Fund and a Windy City-based hot dog stand to carry out abortions and vasectomies for free as the Democratic National Convention kicks off on Monday and Tuesday.
“Here we come, Chicago!” PPGR posted online. “Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop … providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion. EC [levonorgestrel, also called “emergency contraceptive” or “Plan B”] will also be available for free without an appointment.”
Vasectomies will only be carried out on Monday and, according to PPGR, all appointments for both the sterilizing procedure and chemical abortions are already booked. The mobile abortion facility’s Google Forms appointment website confirms this. But PPGR encouraged others to book an appointment at one of 11 abortion facilities in the Chicago area or “get a medication abortion by mail in Illinois conveniently through the PPDirect mobile app.”
The Wieners Circle announced that all those who visit the Planned Parenthood van “will get a free hot dog coupon on us,” adding, “We’re happy to support all reproductive health decisions, it’s up to you — NOT the government.” According to Wikipedia, the hot dog stand is notorious for “the mutual verbal abuse between the employees and the customers during the late-weekend hours.” Wikipedia also notes, “While the atmosphere during business hours in the daytime is normal, the language used by both the staff and customers during the late hours is notoriously foul and aggressive.” (Harbinger's DaIly) Read more here.

Pro-Life Diaper Company Counters Free Abortions Outside DNC with Support for Pregnant Women

Pro-life advocates are counterprogramming the mobile truck offering free abortions and vasectomies outside the DNC by providing mothers with free diapers.
Planned Parenthood had the mobile truck planted Monday and Tuesday near the convention site in Chicago and was providing free vasectomies and medicated abortions for about 35 patients, The Post previously reported.
On Tuesday, EveryLife, a pro-life diaper company, announced it would be providing free diapers instead to those attending the DNC who want another option other than an abortion.
“EveryLife is partnering with Sidewalk Advocates for Life and the life-affirming mobile medical unit from ThriVe Nation, equipped with ultrasound services, who are on the ground in Chicago, outside the DNC, to provide a lifetime supply of EveryLife diapers to any pregnant mom seeking an abortion at the Planned Parenthood abortion/vasectomy bus who chooses life instead,” EveryLife said in a statement.
EveryLife Co-Founder and President Sarah Gabel Seifert added: “While Planned Parenthood mocks and contributes to the devaluing of the family unit and demise of our nation, EveryLife will continue to champion life and parenthood. We are honored to provide a tangible resource to help moms in need choose life, knowing that diapers can be the difference between life and death for a baby.” (New York Post) Read more here.

Delay of Biden's DNC primetime speech seen as more disrespect for sitting president: 'Humiliation ritual'
|

Political commentators responded to President Biden's speech being delayed past primetime on Monday, with some observers remarking that the scheduling issues were disrespectful to the president who had already been forced off the 2024 ticket.
Biden, originally scheduled to speak at 10:30 p.m. (ET), started his speech roughly an hour behind schedule and finished his remarks after midnight.
"I’m tapping out - I can’t stay up this late, we all have lives and kids," former "The View" co-host Meghan McCain wrote on X on Monday. "God speed to our 81 year old President getting through the speech at this hour. Whatever producers did this to him and let it go over this long at this hour is an a------ and it is disrespectful to Biden."
"Democrats kicked Joe Biden out of the presidential race and now they aren’t even going to let him speak until after 11 pm eastern on the first night of the convention," OutKick founder Clay Travis wrote before Biden's speech. "Diabolical. They are nasty and play to win."
"Fitting that the DNC pushed Biden out of Primetime considering they pushed him out of the race too," GOP staffer Abigail Jackson wrote on Monday. (Fox News) Read more here.

1. New footage released from recovery of bodies of 6 hostages - Israel National News
Last night (Monday), the Paratrooper Brigade Combat Team, including the soldiers of the 75th Battalion and the Yahalom Unit, in a joint operation with the ISA, completed the operation to rescue the bodies of hostages in the Khan Yunis area.
In the operation, the bodies of hostages Nadav Popplewell, Yagev Buchshtab, Avraham Munder, Yoram Metzger, Haim Perry and Alexander Dancyg, were rescued and returned to the State of Israel.
All six were kidnapped to Gaza by terrorists during the October 7 massacre, and were murdered in captivity.
Popplewell, Metzger, and Perry were announced murdered in June, and Dancyg and Buchstab were reported murdered last month. (Read more)

2. Netanyahu demands swift release of living hostages, control of ‘security assets’ - JNS
Israel will continue to press for a truce deal that will free as many living hostages as possible while retaining security control over key areas of Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed during a meeting with families of captives and fallen soldiers in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
Jerusalem is “making an effort to return the hostages under conditions that will allow a maximum number of captives to be released in the first stage of the deal,” he told members of the Tikva Forum for Families of Hostages and HaGvura—The Forum for Families of Fallen Heroes.
“I say this clearly—this is a goal I set,” Netanyahu said, adding: “But the other thing is to preserve our strategic security assets in the face of great pressures at home and from abroad, and we continue to stand on this.” (Read more)

4. Hezbollah fires 115 rockets at Israel after IDF hits weapons depots in east Lebanon - Times of Israel
Hezbollah fired some 115 rockets and several drones from Lebanon at northern Israel on Tuesday in barrages throughout the day, according to the Israel Defense Forces, which said that some of the projectiles were intercepted.
Amid the repeated barrages, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that the Israeli military was shifting its focus from Gaza to the northern front, portending a major escalation with Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
There were no injuries reported in the attacks on the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, and the Golan Heights. (Read more)

4. Iran Warns Planned Attack on Israel Unrelated to Gaza Ceasefire Talks, Intent on ‘Punishing the Aggressor’ - Algemeiner
Iran’s plan to attack Israel in retaliation for the recent killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran will not be affected by ongoing discussions to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, the Iranian foreign ministry said on Monday.
“Iran’s support for the necessity of an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and stopping the Zionist regime’s [Israel’s] onslaught against the Palestinian people has no direct connection with Iran’s legitimate right and punishing the aggressor and responding to the aggression,” ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani told reporters during a press conference. “These two issues are two separate matters and are not directly related to each other.”
Haniyeh, the exiled political chief of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, was killed in an explosion in Iran’s capital city on July 31. Iran has accused Israel of carrying out the assassination and vowed revenge, which, according to experts and Western officials, will likely take the form of a direct strike on the Jewish state. The Israeli government has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for Haniyeh’s death.
Iran is the chief international sponsor of Hamas, providing the terrorist group with weapons, funding, and training. (Read more)

5. IDF strikes Hezbollah military structure in southern Lebanon - Jerusalem Post
The IAF struck a military structure in the Al-Matmoura area of southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah terrorists were operating, the IDF announced on Tuesday.
The strike was in response to a Hezbollah unmanned aircraft incursion over the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights.
Additionally, IDF air defense fighters successfully intercepted some targets, while the others fell in the Golan Heights area. (Read more)

1. Raskin Tells DNC Republicans Could Try to ‘Kill’ JD Vance - Breitbart
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) told the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Monday night that Republicans could try to “kill” Sen. JD Vance. Raskin was referring to the hostility expressed by a small group of rioters on January 6, 2021, who brought a mock guillotine to the Capitol and were said to be searching for Vice President Mike Pence to punish him for not rejecting the congressional certification of the Electoral College vote.
The speech was bitter, and vindictive — as much of Raskin’s rhetoric has been about Trump, even before he took office. Raskin’s speech, which followed a bitter oration by former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, and preceded an incendiary speech by Sen. 2. Parvovirus or ‘slapped cheek disease’ is on the rise, CDC warns: Here’s what to know - Fox News
A respiratory disease known as parvovirus B19 is on the rise in the U.S. among all age groups, according to a recent advisory from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The CDC issued the health alert on Aug. 13 after European public health authorities reported "unusually" high numbers of cases in 14 countries during the first quarter of 2024, the advisory said. The virus typically causes a blotchy rash on the cheeks that appears as if someone has slapped them — hence its nickname, "slapped cheek disease."
"Parvovirus can be a very mild infection in many people, but if you are pregnant or are immunocompromised in any way, you are at a much greater risk of serious illness," Dr. Aaron Glatt, chief of infectious diseases at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital on Long Island, New York, told Fox News Digital. 3. US intelligence officials say Iran is to blame for hacks targeting Trump, Biden-Harris campaigns - Associated Press
U.S. intelligence officials said Monday they were confident that Iran was responsible for the hack of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, casting the cyber intrusion as part of a brazen and broader effort by Tehran to interfere in American politics and potentially shape the outcome of the election.
The assessment from the FBI and other federal agencies was the first time the U.S. government has assigned blame for hacks that have raised anew the threat of foreign election interference and underscored how Iran, in addition to more sophisticated adversaries like Russia and China, remains a top concern. Besides breaching the Trump campaign, officials also believe that Iran tried to hack into the presidential campaign of Kamala Harris.
The hacking and similar activities, federal officials said, are meant to sow discord, exploit divisions within American society and possibly to influence the outcome of elections that Iran perceives to be “particularly consequential in terms of the impact they could have on its national security interests,” officials said. 4. CEO of watchdog group who investigated government spending dies unexpectedly - DML News
In a stunning development, it has just been confirmed that the CEO and founder of Open The Books, a non-profit watchdog organization devoted to exposing government wasteful spending, has suddenly died.
Adam Andrzejewski, 55, of Illinois, founded OpenTheBooks.com in December 2012, according to his LinkedIn page. His profile says the group’s mission is to “Capture & post online every dime taxed and spent at every level of government – federal, state and local across America. Simply stated, “Every Dime. Online. In Real Time.””
It is still unclear when Andrzejewski’s sudden death occurred, but he reportedly died “over the weekend.” The cause of his death also has not been released. (Read more)

5. Jan 6 defendant speaking out after early release from prison - DML News
January 6 defendant John Strand, a model, writer, actor, and musician from Los Angeles California, is speaking out after finally being released from prison over charges against him by the Biden administration for being at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Strand, 39, says he was only acting as a body guard for Dr. Simone Gold, who was scheduled to give a speech at the Capitol that day.
Strand was found “guilty” of a felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding and four misdemeanor violations, and sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
Strand said he was placed in solitary confinement for four months of his time in federal prison. The now-free patriot released a video on social media on Sunday and announced, “The Biden DOJ put me in prison for protesting — for having a difference of opinion and making my voice heard. What they thought would break me has only made me stronger and more determined in this fight. I will not stop until all January 6 defendants are free.” (Read more)

6. Harris confirms plan to raise taxes lowered under Trump, repeats false claim - DML News
Vice President Kamala Harris would work to raise the corporate tax rate to 28%, the Harris campaign has confirmed to Fox News. “As President, Kamala Harris will focus on creating an opportunity economy for the middle class that advances their economic security, stability, and dignity,” the campaign said in a statement.
Unlike Donald Trump, whose extreme Project 2025 agenda would drive up the deficit, increase taxes on the middle class by $3,900, and send our economy spiraling into recession – her plan is a fiscally responsible way to put money back in the pockets of working people and ensure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.” The federal corporate tax rate was lowered as part of former President Donald Trump’s signature tax legislation in 2017, which saw the rate fall from 35% to 21%.
Contrary to the Harris campaign claim, former President Donald Trump is NOT associated with the “Project 2025 agenda” and has disowned it. USA Today debunked the false claims that Trump is behind Project 2025 last month. Instead, the suggested agenda was put forth by The Heritage Foundation, a conservative “think tank” group. - Holy One, it seems that the narrative of the Harris campaign is designed to release fear and trembling into the nation while delivering a nanny-state solution to the problems they have actually created. This is a common strategy for control; pressure very hard to the point of breaking, then back it off to be perceived as the good guy; and we renounce that strategy, in Jesus name. We pray for victory for the Trump plan to restore economic strength and viability to our nation. We pray also, for the economic stability of other nations of the world, in order to stabilize sovereignty, in Jesus name.

Christians Involvement in Government

Many have written in about whether Christians should be involved in government and politics. Some say their pastors are preaching from the pulpit that Christians are members of a higher kingdom and should not be involved with government and politics. Another popular preached position is that the scriptures say that we must submit to, rather than engage, the governments because they are placed over people by God. Yet another position taught is that Christians should take over governments because they must establish the kingdom of God here on earth as a prerequisite for Christ to return. These various teachings are wrong-minded and many are twisting scripture to make their case. Here is why.
There is nothing in the Bible that man must establish the kingdom of God on earth so that Jesus Christ can return. Only the Father knows when Christ will return. He will return when the Father directs him. Christ alone will establish his kingdom. It’s all there in the scriptures. On government, we find Moses in Exodus 18 spending all his day interpreting the law and settling disputes. Moses’ father-in-law introduced the “representative” system of government in verse 21: “Moreover, you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” America’s Founding Fathers used this precept to establish the US governmental system. MPox WHO Declaration: Breaking News

Earlier today, 19 August 2024, I posted an essay summarizing the latest status on the MPox “Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC)” of the World Health Organization.
Shortly after posting, I became aware of this new statement by the World Health Organization that was posted today.
The big reveal here is that the prior “Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC)” for MPox was set to expire on 20 August 2024. The appearance is that this “new” “Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC)” appears to have been pushed through because the previous one was about to expire. If this appearance of contrived manipulation by the WHO to sustain the funding and additional authority conferred by its previous declaration, then this would be yet another clear demonstration of corrupt, arbitrary and capricious weaponization of WHO powers under the International Health Regulations. - Holy God, we bring this scheme before Your Throne of Grace. Given the fact that this outbreak has only occurred in several, small nations in Africa, and a few in South America, we wonder if it is yet time for the WHO to release a global alert to all nations in the world?
Lord God, in these confusing times, let us walk carefully before You. We ask that Your wisdom, and Your wisdom alone, would guide the leaders of the WHO in making this decision. Father God, with our national election looming just ahead, the last thing we will need now is to issue an alert, perhaps leading to another lockdown, in the face of this "threat."

1. Kamala Harris Suffers Third Pennsylvania Polling Blow in a Week - Newsweek
Vice President Kamala Harris has faced another setback in the polls, with three surveys in one week indicating she is trailing former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania.
The most recent hit came from an Insider Advantage poll conducted between August 18 and 19, which found Trump slightly ahead in a head-to-head matchup among 800 likely voters in Pennsylvania, leading 46.6 percent to Harris' 46 percent, with a 3 percent margin of error.
This follows earlier polls conducted by Cygnal and Emerson College between August 13 and 15, both of which showed Trump with a 1-point lead in the key battleground state, which holds 19 Electoral College votes. (Read more)
2. Jake Tapper retreats after Pelosi pushes back on questions about tension with Biden: They 'made me ask' - CNN
At the Democratic National Convention Monday, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was asked yet again whether there is any enduring animosity between her and President Biden after he relinquished the nomination.
CNN’s Jake Tapper spoke to Pelosi on the first night of the DNC about whether there is lingering resentment among Biden and his allies toward her.
"I know that it was very difficult for him," Tapper said. "That’s been made very clear by some of his top aides like Anita Dunn and Ron Klain, and there does seem to be- even though Anita Dunn said earlier today, ‘Nobody wants to have a fight with Nancy Pelosi at this time.’ It does seem like there’s some residual bad blood or resentment, and I‘m wondering if you‘ve spoken to him and what your response is to that."
Pelosi replied to the news host by joking, "Sometimes you just have to take a punch for the children." (Read more)
3. Teamsters President Sean O'Brien is ghosted, won't speak at DNC - AXIOS
Teamsters President Sean O'Brien has been ghosted by the Democratic National Convention after his request to speak this week in Chicago.
At least seven leaders of major labor unions were set to take the DNC stage tonight, but O'Brien has become persona non grata in some Democratic circles.
The Teamsters historically endorse Democrats, but the union with about 1.3 million members has not yet offered an endorsement this cycle.
O'Brien's speech at the Republican National Convention highlighted the extent to which the GOP is trying to also court labor workers this cycle, a group that has historically backed Democrats. (Read more)
4. Federal Watchdog: Biden-Harris Agencies Resettle 365K Migrant Kids in U.S., Many Now ‘At Risk of Trafficking, Exploitation, or Forced Labor’ - Breitbart
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’s agencies have released hundreds of thousands of migrant children from the southern border into the United States. A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General (IG) report reveals many are “at risk for trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.”
The DHS IG report looked into the massive pipeline under Biden and Harris where Unaccompanied Migrant Children (UCs) arrive at the border, are taken into DHS custody before being transferred to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) custody, and more likely than not resettled with adult sponsors in American communities — the majority of whom are not the UC’s biological parents. Tectonic Shifts: Did God Use An Earthquake In The Middle East To Thwart An Attack On Israel?

Tectonic shifts are taking place in the Middle East. We see tectonic shifts politically, certainly militarily, but now we’re seeing tectonic shifts literally. An earthquake in Syria this last week has profoundly affected Hezbollah and could be one of the reasons why Iran and the terror organization have delayed their invasion of Israel.
The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, who was the leader of Hamas, took place in Tehran over two weeks ago on July 31. Iran is insisting that they are going to retaliate against Israel. However, Tehran added that one thing could prevent their attack: a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza war.
The problem is it appears everybody wants the ceasefire except Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Israel intends to prosecute this war to the end, which I believe they should. If they don’t, they’ll just be delaying the inevitable. I don’t think the Hamas leaders in Gaza and surrounding arab nations want this war to end either; they would much prefer to continue using it as leverage and a tool to stoke even more global hatred for Israel.
The United States is currently accelerating its deployment of a carrier strike group to the Middle East, even sending a nuclear submarine to this area. Interestingly, the United States doesn’t normally announce the whereabouts of our nuclear sub’s location—that’s a top secret. Read More

Uncharted Ministries rescues over 20 families from brickyard slavery

Pakistan (MNN) — To follow Christ in Muslim-majority Pakistan is to know hardship. Bruce* with Uncharted Ministries says Christians struggle in nearly every life category. “They are unable to get good jobs; they’re impoverished. Many of them are illiterate or very uneducated. They’re just a lower class.” Emergencies often leave believers in debt because there are no social “safety nets” in Pakistan, such as feeding programs or government healthcare. Brickyard owners offer to pay off the debt but demand manual labor in return. “We had no idea of the epic levels of slavery and suffering of Christians in Pakistan,” Bruce says. “There are 20,000 brickyards that enslave up to 2 million Christians.”
This slavery ensnares multiple generations. “Through high interest rates and fraudulent bookkeeping, they never get out of debt,” Bruce says. “You have grandchildren paying off the debts of their grandparents; it’s intergenerational slavery.” Uncharted Ministries partners with local believers to rescue Christian families from brickyard slavery. “We’re paying a financial debt so they are set free, and it’s such a correlation to what Christ has done for us – paying our debt of sin that we’re set free,” Bruce says.
