IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi held an assessment and approved battle plans for “the various fronts,” the military said in a terse statement on Monday, as the country braced for an attack from Iran and its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah.
“The chief of staff emphasized the continuation of high readiness and assessment efforts for attack and defense,” the military said.
The meeting was attended by the IDF deputy chief of staff, heads of the Intelligence and Operations directorates, head of the Northern Command, head of the Air Force, head of the Home Front Command, and other top officers.
The assessment came as Fox News reported Monday, citing regional sources, that Iran would launch an attack on Israel within the next 24 hours.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said earlier Monday that Israel has been bolstering its defenses in recent days amid an anticipated Iranian and Hezbollah attack on the country, as well as preparing potential attacks as a response, or preemptive actions if needed.
“We are in the days of vigilance and readiness. The threats from Tehran and Beirut may materialize and it is important to explain to everyone that readiness, preparedness, and vigilance are not synonyms for fear and panic,” said Gallant at a meeting of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
“In recent days, we have been devoting our time both to strengthening defenses and to creating offensive options in response, and also as an initiative if required, anywhere and in any region, with the main goal being the protection of the citizens of the State of Israel,” he added. US sends submarine, ships to Israel in preparation for Iranian attack

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the departure of two ships and one submarine for Israel after he reiterated the US's commitment to Israel's defense in a call with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Sunday night, according to a readout from the US Defense Department from Monday overnight.
During the call, Gallant informed Austin that Iranian military preparations indicated Iran was preparing for a significant attack against Israel, a source briefed on the conversation shared.
The US Defense Department revealed that Secretary Austin ordered that the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, along with F-35C fighters, accelerate its transit to the Central Command area, bolstering the military presence already provided by the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. IDF closes off southern areas as shadow of Iran attack looms
|

The IDF on Monday announced new closures starting from 12 noon in portions of the South relating to a Tisha B’Av prayer service, as an attack from Iran loomed.
There is no evidence that Hamas could pose a significant threat to these areas given that its rocket fire has been minuscule since January, with tiny spurts only impacting the closest Gaza border villages.
The Jerusalem Post understands that the specific directive came out after right-wing activists seeking to draw attention to their campaign to resettle Gaza pushed for large-scale Tisha B’Av prayer groups on Monday. (Read more here.)

X melts down after Trump-Musk's interview 'Space' immediately crashes

Critics railed against the technical difficulties that plagued X owner Elon Musk's highly-anticipated interview with former President Trump.
X users rushed to join Trump's "Space" where he was supposed to speak with the billionaire tech tycoon on the 2024 race. However, the "Space" immediately crashed due to the influx of users, offering the message "This Space is unavailable."
Moments later, Musk took to X, telling users, "There appears to be a massive DDOS [distributed denial-of-service] attack on 𝕏. Working on shutting it down. Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later." (Fox News) Read more here.

'We're in massive trouble with Kamala': Elon Musk and Trump sound alarm on America's existence

In a lengthy conversation with two of the most influential people in the world Monday night, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk sounded the alarm to former President Donald Trump about a potential Kamala Harris victory in the 2024 presidential race, saying, "I think we're in massive trouble with a Kamala administration."
"It's essential that you win for the good of this country and that's understating my position," Musk told Trump during the event on X, which is owned by Musk.
The pair discussed some of the hottest topics plaguing the nation, including the border disaster, the financial pain caused by inflation and an anemic economy, and what would happen to America should Democrats win the White House.
"You are the path to prosperity, and Kamala is the opposite," Musk told Trump. "I'm just trying to tell people my honest opinion."
"My track record has been moderate and if not moderate, slightly left" he said, noting it was "absurd" to think he was a right-wing activist.
"I call myself a moderate Democrat," the Tesla chief explained, "But now I feel like we're at a critical juncture for the country. … We're gonna see an even further left administration with Kamala.
"Her dad is a Marxist economist you can Google it … that's how she was brought up."
"America is in a fork in the road … We're at a fork in the road in the destiny of civilization and I think we need to take the right path, and I think you're the right path. … We're in deep trouble if it goes the other way."

1. Iran Rejects ‘Impudent’ European Calls Urging Not to Attack Israel - Algemeiner
Iran on Tuesday rejected calls from Europe to exercise restraint and not attack Israel in response to its alleged killing of a top Hamas leader in the Iranian capital city of Tehran last month.
Iran’s foreign ministry dismissed the pleas from France, Britain, and Germany, saying they “lack political logic and contradict principles of international law.”
The three European countries on Monday issued a joint statement urging Iran and its proxies in the Middle East to refrain from attacking Israel after Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, was killed in Tehran on July 31.
Iran, along with Hamas and its chief terrorist proxy Lebanon-based Hezbollah, have accused Israel of carrying out the assassination. The Israeli government has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility. (Read more)

2. Iran officials suggest planned retaliation may be scrapped if Gaza ceasefire reached - Times of Israel
An Iranian attack on Israel could be delayed amid hoped-for negotiations later this week for a hostage release and ceasefire deal in Gaza, three Iranian officials said on Tuesday, indicating that a successful deal could hold Iran back from direct retaliation against Israel for alleged assassinating Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh on its soil.
Iran has vowed to retaliate harshly for Haniyeh’s killing, which took place as he visited Tehran late last month and which it blamed on Israel. Israel has neither confirmed or denied its involvement.
The US Navy has deployed warships and a submarine to the Middle East to bolster Israeli defenses and intensive diplomatic efforts to dissuade Tehran from attacking have been taking place around the clock. (Read more)

3. Hamas fires rockets at Tel Aviv - Israel National News
The Hamas terrorist organization claimed that it fired two rockets at the Tel Aviv area on Tuesday afternoon in the first rocket attack from Gaza on Tel Aviv since May. The IDF stated that one rocket landed in the Mediterranean Sea and the other landed in Gaza.
Residents of the coastal area of central israel reported hearing explosions.
The IDF stated, "A short while ago, a projectile that was identified crossing from the Gaza Strip fell in the maritime space in central Israel. In accordance with protocol, no sirens were sounded. Simultaneously, an additional projectile that did not cross into Israeli territory was identified."
Hamas stated that the rockets were of the M-90 model, a new model that was unveiled in December 2023 and has a reported range of 90 kilometers. (Read more)

4. Sinwar said to demand halt to IDF operations in Gaza as precondition for talks - Times of Israel
Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar is reportedly refusing to attend slated talks on a truce-hostage deal unless Israel halts its military operations inside the Gaza Strip — a clear nonstarter for Jerusalem.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, Sinwar told Arab mediators on Monday night that the IDF should stop its activity inside the Strip to show that it is “serious about negotiations” and to convince Hamas to attend talks.
The report added, however, that such a demand is “unlikely to be met by Israel,” which has staunchly rejected the possibility of pausing operations as a precondition for talks.

5. Israeli man wounded in Qalqilya terror attack - World Israel News
A Jewish Israeli man was shot and seriously wounded in Qalqilya in western Samaria on Monday evening. Two Palestinians were also wounded in the attack, and the terrorist was killed by Israeli forces.
The Israeli civilian was taken to Meir Medical Center in nearby Kfar Saba in central Israel after initial treatment at Darwish Nazzal Hospital in Qalqilya, where his condition was stabilized, Channel 14 reported.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the gunman opened fire near a car repair shop in the Palestinian Authority-controlled city. Israeli forces caught the shooter just outside the city as he attempted to flee.
The P.A. identified the terrorist as Tariq Daoud, 18, and said that his body was being held by Israeli authorities. According to Hamas, he was a “field commander” in the terrorist group’s military wing. (Read more)

3. Biden program meant to remove illegal migrant families has instead allowed 90% to stay in US - New York Post
A signature Biden-Harris administration program to quickly remove families who entered the US illegally is allowing nearly 90% of migrants to stay in the country, new data reveal.
Of 24,000 migrants who were put into the Family Expedited Removal Program since May 2023, more than 22,000 were allowed to stay in the US — and only 2,600 have been deported, a little over 10%.
More than 3,600 migrants have also absconded from the program and are believed to be unaccounted for in the US, according to the internal data.
“These numbers are further proof that the Biden-Harris administration’s policies have nothing to do with actually securing the border or enforcing the law, but instead masking its utter refusal to do either of those things,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) told The Post. 4. US manufacturers hit by soaring property insurance costs - Reuters
James Kirsh expects the cost of the property and casualty insurance for his family-owned foundry in Wisconsin that makes cast iron parts for tractors and other equipment to at least double when it's up for renewal this fall.
He’s been told it could triple. The problem is that his long-time insurer - Acuity - has told his insurance agent it no longer wants to cover factories like his, which handles molten metal. So they'll need to piece together coverage from multiple, higher-cost alternative providers.
"It’s a mess for the whole industry," said Kirsh, the company’s president. A spokesperson for Acuity declined to respond to questions about its plans to stop providing insurance to the foundry industry.
The cost of insuring everything from homes to cars in the U.S. has surged in recent years, driven by factors including rising costs of car and home repairs and more storm damage amid climate change. Auto insurance, for instance, has seen its biggest increases since the 1970s over the past year - and is even cited by economists as an outsized factor in the inflationary wave the Federal Reserve has fought to tame with interest rate hikes beginning in March 2022. 5. 'Zika-like' mosquito-borne virus has spread into Europe, health officials warn - Fox News
Cases of the Oropouche virus (OROV) emerging in Europe have health officials on high alert. As of the end of July, 19 cases had been reported with 12 in Spain, five in Italy and two in Germany, per the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
The disease is typically spread through bites from mosquitoes and midges (small flies, particularly the Culicoides paraensis species), according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Since first emerging in Trinidad and Tobago in 1955, the Oropouche virus has had "limited circulation" in regions of South America, particularly in forested areas.
Three-toed sloths and birds have been identified as "natural reservoirs" for Oropouche, which means they act as hosts of the disease. “The virus doesn't spread from person to person," Dr. Marc Siegel, senior medical analyst for Fox News and clinical professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, confirmed to Fox News Digital. Political Conundrums and Sure Things

There is a historic political conundrum occurring in America. Against the backdrop of one of the most socialist takeovers of the executive branch in history resulting in tremendous failures in both domestic and foreign policy, the Democratic Party has chosen to dig in on presenting the most socialistic presidential ticket ever seen in America. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz would have been considered communists in the 1950s. Now they are repackaged at progressives. Their positions on key issues are proven failures and border on nonsense. A major political party in any country does not allow this type of presidential ticket going forward unless it is banking on a specific outcome. Beware of the deception ahead.
Harris-Walz by any normal political standard is a losing ticket. In any given year, this ticket would be considered a laughing stock. But this is no “given year.” There will be about 40% of voters who will vote for Harris-Walz just because they are Democrats. There also will be a single digit percentage that will vote for the ticket because they represent a considerably growing segment of mentally ill people. The Democrats have also chosen their side in the Israel vs Palestinian terrorist issue with Walz, hoping to get more Muslim votes than losing Jewish votes. When you get right down to the nuts and bolts of this ticket, it could very well win just based on the socialist—mentally ill—Islamic coalition it cobbles together.

Trump/Musk Cause Worldwide Panic!!!

Well, not really. But, their two-hour conversation on X (formerly Twitter) last night certainly upset globalists and anti-free speech advocates on both sides of the Atlantic.
At the White House, a Washington Post reporter, Cleve Wootson asked Press Secretary Karine Jean-Piere, “What role does the White House or the president have in sort of stopping that or stopping the spread of that or sort of intervening in that …” He was referring to the possibility that Trump and Musk would spread “misinformation” during their conversation. Of course, what he was really worried about was that millions of people would hear the truth from two men who refuse to kneel.
European Commissioner Thierry Breton fired off a letter threatening Musk and warning him to not violate the E.U.’s Digital Services Act (DSA) which prohibits anything that European bureaucrats think incites hatred or violence. To these European despots, any questioning of the wisdom of bringing millions of Islamists into Europe is promoting hate. They are more concerned that Europe’s native populations are getting angry than they are concerned about the reverse colonization that is happening.
U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also attacked Musk before the interview. Starmer is a Marxist who is accelerating the crackdown on free speech and arresting people who post online criticism of mass migration. This, from the nation that gave the world the Magna Carta. Police in England are now being called by average citizens, “Starmer Troopers.”
The conversation between Trump and Musk got started late because of a “Denial of Service (DOS) problem. Our media claimed it was a technical glitch and mocked Musk for it. Musk said it was an intentional concerted attack to prevent the conversation by overwhelming it with fake requests to join it. I believe Musk, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the effort to blow up the conversation between Trump and Musk was run by one or more governments.
To clarify, this item is about our election, that is only 83 days away. Much of “the West” is racing down the road to tyranny and endless war. Europe may already be beyond saving. If we lose in November, I believe America will also be too far gone after four more years of attacks on our fundamental liberties. Pray! Vote!

A new report is revealing the reason Kamala Harris, the Democrats' nominee for president, chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her VP sidekick.
Because "he's a complete nutcase."
That's the conclusion in a report on Walz's actions during COVID by the Gateway Pundit.
The conclusion was supported by a video showing National Guard troops, under Walz's orders in Minnesota during COVID, ordering people to get off their porches and back inside their homes.
Then shooting paintballs at them.
Labeling Walz a "tyrant," a description that echoed others' opinions about Walz, the report charged, "This guy is not only Stolen Valor, he's a complete nutcase."
It noted, "In the video you can see police officers walking the streets of Minneapolis on May 30, 2020, screaming at residents and shooting paintballs at anyone who is sitting on their porch."
The Gateway Pundit explained Walz deployed 11,000 National Guard members to the city, with reporting from the Independent at the time noting it was how Walz was enforcing his curfew.
The video "appears to show the Minnesota National Guard and state police ordering the residents of one street to go inside, before they turn their weapons on a group of residents. The footage captures people rushing inside the property after shots are fired and shows where one member of the public has been hit by a paintball." (WND) Read more here.

Lord God, the times have changed. To describe Governor Walz as a "nutball" is now entirely appropriate, as we seek to discern the truth about this man and his character in governing. Space Force to expand missile-defense satellite network in medium Earth orbit
|

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Space Force initiated a new phase in its missile defense satellite program. The Space Systems Command on Aug. 9 released a “request for prototype proposals” inviting vendors to submit designs for satellites known as Missile Track Custody Epoch 2, marking the second phase of the Space Force’s program to develop a missile-tracking network in medium Earth orbit (MEO).
The Epoch 2 program builds upon the foundation laid by Epoch 1, the first version of the MEO missile warning and tracking constellation being built by Millennium Space Systems which is projected to launch in late 2026 and early 2027. Raytheon had been selected to build three Epoch 1 satellites but its contract was terminated due to cost and schedule issues.
The Space Force is seeking prototype proposals for Epoch 2 so it can test and explore new technologies before moving to full-scale production.
The Missile Track Custody program is expected to involve a significant investment, with the Space Force projecting a budget of approximately $6 billion over the 2025-2029 period for the development and procurement of up to 18 satellites. These satellites will be optically cross-linked to ensure continuous surveillance and tracking of missile threats.
Missile-tracking satellites are designed to detect and monitor the launch and flight path of potential threats. These satellites use advanced sensors to identify the heat signatures of missile launches and track their trajectories, providing early warning and targeting data to defense systems. Read More

New animated JESUS film to help reach a young world

“Our vision and passion is to give every person in the world the opportunity to hear Jesus say, ‘I love you’ in their heart language,” says Holly Newell with Jesus Film Project. The JESUS film is the most watched film of all time. Newell shares that over the past 45 years it has been viewed 11 billion times, and more than 600 million people have given their lives to Christ. It’s a God-given legacy, but one they aren’t content to sit back on. “Not long ago, we took a look at the world and its growing population, and we said, ‘We’re doing what God has called us to do, but we’re not doing it fast enough,’” Newell says.
Research led them to two important facts about the world today. One is that the majority of the people who have never heard the name of Jesus live in 12 specific countries. The other is that the world is very young. “The average age of all the people in the world is 30,” says Newell. ”In some of those top 12 countries of unreached people, the average age is only 18.” The new animated JESUS will use much of the audio tracks already recorded in more than two thousand languages for the 1979 film.
