UniteUS Closes Out 'Incredible' Semester of Outreach With 5,000 Baylor Students Worshipping Jesus
Leaders and organizers of the UniteUS movement say they saw an "incredible end to the best semester" while closing out their year of outreaches at Baylor University this week.  Nearly 5,000 students jammed into Foster Pavilion to worship Jesus, hear the Gospel, and have their lives transformed by the love of God, UniteUS reported. And hundreds of them, close to 250, made decisions for Christ, the ministry confirmed. CBN News has followed the ministry's outreach each month since the start of the school year.

The organization kicked off its 2025 events in February at the University of Kentucky where nearly 8,000 students packed Rupp Arena and more than 2,000 students responded to a message about Jesus Christ. Many others took part in spontaneous baptisms. Then, a few weeks later, an Ohio State revival event saw 6,500 students gather in The Schottenstein Center, where hundreds once again responded to an altar call. Since then, thousands of other students have participated in these revival-type events.  UniteUS founder and organizer Tonya Prewett, Pastor Jonathan Pokluda, and the founder of the IF:Gathering, Jennie Allen, traveled to Purdue University, West Virginia University, and Southern Methodist University before stopping at Baylor. (CBN) Read More Here
- Father, we REJOICE in the nearly 250 recent baptisms at Baylor University and for decisions made towards Christ this past year.  We celebrate thousands of students gathering to worship at both Christian and secular universities and lift praise for the powerful move of Your Holy Spirit upon the hearts of this young generation! Continue to lead and bless ministries that have worked diligently for campus outreach across our nation. May each student bring Glory to Jesus, through their transformed life, influencing a harvest of new believers to enter into the Kingdom of God! By the Blood and powerful Name of Yeshua- Amen and Amen.

- "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Trump tells DOD to move more forces equipped for combat into Middle East as US ups pressure on Houthis
Trump says strikes to continue until Houthi threat ends

President Donald Trump has officially informed Congress that he has directed the Department of Defense to move additional forces equipped for combat into the Middle East as U.S. forces carry out military strikes against Houthi militants in Yemen in an effort to stop attacks on American forces and commercial ships in the Red Sea.

In a letter dated March 28 and released Tuesday, Trump told House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate President Pro Tempore Chuck Grassley that he had directed the Department of Defense to increase U.S. military presence in the region and launch major strikes on Houthi-controlled areas.

"I will no longer allow this band of pirates to threaten and attack United States forces and commercial vessels in one of the most important shipping lanes in the world," Trump wrote. "We will act to keep Americans safe."

He said the U.S. will continue striking until the group no longer poses a threat to navigation or U.S. personnel. (Fox News) Read more here.

Yahweh, God Eternal,

We thank you for a President that will not allow the United States or our forces to be threatened and intimidated. We ask that you cut off and destroy all systems that support terror organizations so that, should you tarry, the world will be a better place for all peoples. Give wisdom and discernment to President Trump and his administration as they continue to dismantle the financial institutions that are funding war actions against our troops. Send your mighty angelic forces to protect them. We offer this prayer in Jesus' name, amen.

- " The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee in seven."                      ( Deuteronomy 28:7 )

Voice of America restored by judge after Trump dismantled taxpayer-funded outlet in March
White House official previously claimed that VoA has been 'out of step with America'

A federal judge ordered the restoration of Voice of America (VoA) on Tuesday, the federally-funded state media network that the White House dismantled earlier this spring.
Judge Royce Lamberth ruled in favor of the plaintiff's request for a preliminary injunction, though the Trump administration is allowed to appeal the decision.

The plaintiffs asked the court to "cancel the orders putting approximately 1,300 VOA employees on administrative leave" and to "cancel the termination of contracts with approximately 500 personal service contractors (PSCs) with VOA, cease dismantling VOA, and restore VOA's personnel and operating capacities."

President Donald Trump dismantled the news agency through an executive order (EO) in March, claiming that VoA promoted biased reporting. The non-statutory components and functions of the following governmental entities shall be eliminated to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law, and such entities shall reduce the performance of their statutory functions and associated personnel to the minimum presence and function required by law," the EO stated.

The EO also dismantled VoA's parent company, the United States Agency for Global Media, as well as Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

"Voice of America has been out of step with America for years. It serves as the Voice for Radical America and has pushed divisive propaganda for years now," a senior White House official told Fox News Digital at the time.

On Mar. 22, VoA employees filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration and Kari Lake, who serves as the special advisor to the United States Agency for Global Media. "In many parts of the world, a crucial source of objective news is gone, and only censored state-sponsored news media is left to fill the void," the lawsuit reads."The second Trump administration has taken a chainsaw to the agency as a whole in an attempt to shutter it completely," the suit stated. (Fox News) Read more here.

Father God,

We ask that you keep a watchful eye over our judiciary system. Lord God, we pray that you will not allow lawsuits to continue that would block the agenda of our President.

As the wind blows, so does the truth. Remove all agencies that are biased and spread divisive propaganda against the Trump Administration.  We beseech you, Father God, to pull down the wicked strongholds that have taken root in our nation.. We decree the only Voice in America is the one who submits in truth and righteousness to Jesus Christ. Untie the hands of America's President, Donald Trump, as he seeks your wisdom in making America righteous again. In Jesus' name, Amen.

- " For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. China Issues Retaliatory Sanctions on US Congress Members Over Hong Kong
Beijing announced the move on April 21 in response to Washington’s sanctioning six Chinese and Hong Kong officials last month.

China is sanctioning several U.S. Congress members, other government officials, and heads of nongovernmental organizations for what the regime has called “egregious behavior on Hong Kong-related issues,” its foreign ministry said on April 20. The sanctions are in response to Washington’s sanctioning of six Chinese and Hong Kong officials in March for their alleged involvement in transnational repression and acts threatening to further erode Hong Kong’s autonomy.

The regime provided no details about which U.S. officials are being targeted.

“We must warn the U.S. that Hong Kong is China’s Hong Kong,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said while announcing Beijing’s retaliatory sanctions. Those sanctioned by Washington include Hong Kong Justice Secretary Paul Lam, Hong Kong security office director Dong Jingwei, and former Hong Kong police commissioner Raymond Siu.

Sino-American tensions have been escalating in recent weeks, in the wake of U.S. President Donald Trump’s imposition of tariffs on Chinese goods and the CCP’s retaliation with its own tariffs. The Chinese Commerce Ministry said in a statement on April 21 that the regime opposes any country making a deal with the United States “at the expense of China’s interests,” vowing to “take countermeasures in a reciprocal manner.”

Governments, including those of Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, have already begun negotiations with Washington.
China said it’s open to talks with the United States, but no bilateral meetings between Beijing and Washington have been announced. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the state Holocaust Remembrance Day opening ceremony on Wednesday and pledged that Israel will not stop fighting until Hamas is destroyed.

"We will destroy the Hamas monsters who perpetrated the cruelest massacre since the Holocaust. There will not be an Islamic califate, not in the south, not in the north, and not in Judea and Samaria," Netanyahu stated.

He added: "The military pressure on Hamas will continue. We will bring back all the hostages. We will defeat Hamas and deny Iran nuclear weapons." (Read more)

2. Herzog at Yad Vashem: ‘History won’t forgive those destroying Israel from within’ - Times of Israel

Speaking at the official state ceremony at Yad Vashem for Holocaust Remembrance Day on Wednesday, President Isaac Herzog made an urgent plea for national unity in the face of “terrible” divisions within society and said “history will not forgive” those who are dismantling the Jewish state from within.

“I call upon you from the bottom of my heart: Let us unite together, the entire House of Israel,” Herzog pleaded. “Let us turn these days – the Ten Holy Days – from now until Independence Day, into a moment of National responsibility. Let us lower the flames. Let us mend our hearts.”

Herzog said he often meets with Holocaust survivors sharing horrific personal stories, but they all conclude with the same message: “President, please, we beg, we demand — the division within us is terrible. Let there be unity in the people.” (Read more)

4. Knesset Defense Committee Approves for First Reading Bill Redirecting PA Funds to Terror Victims - Jewish Press

The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, chaired by MK Yuli Edelstein (Likud), on Sunday unanimously approved the first reading of the bill titled “Freezing of Funds Paid by the Palestinian Authority in Connection with Terrorism from Revenues Transferred by the Israeli Government.” The bill, an amendment to the Indemnification of the State for Terrorist Damages, 2024 law, was sponsored by MK Avichay Buaron (Likud).

In July 2018, the Knesset passed the Freezing of Funds Paid by the Palestinian Authority in Connection with Terrorism from Revenues Transferred by the Israeli Government Law, sponsored by MKs Avi Dicter and Elazar Stern. This law stipulates that funds paid by the Palestinian Authority to terrorists will be deducted from the funds Israel transfers to the Palestinian Authority, by the agreements between the two parties.

In March 2024, a law was enacted, sponsored by MK Yitzhak Pindrus (United Torah Judaism), enabling victims of terrorism and their families to file damages lawsuits against those providing wages and remuneration for committing acts of terrorism, with the possibility of receiving exemplary compensation. The law also stipulates that such compensation cannot be deducted from any amount paid by the state to terrorism victims. Additionally, it was established that victims could execute the judgment against any asset belonging to those involved in financing terrorism, including funds frozen under the 2018 Freezing of Funds Law. 1. Trump criticises Zelensky as Ukraine refuses Russian control of Crimea - BBC

US President Donald Trump has accused Volodymyr Zelensky of harming peace negotiations, after the Ukrainian president said Kyiv would not recognise Russian control of Crimea.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump claimed a deal to end the war was "very close", but that Zelensky's refusal to accept US terms "will do nothing but prolong" the conflict.

Earlier, US Vice-President JD Vance laid out the US vision for a deal, saying it would "freeze the territorial lines [...] close to where they are today".

Ukraine has long said it will not give up Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014.

Vance said the deal would mean Ukraine and Russia "are both going to have to give up some of the territory they currently own". (Read more here)

- Father God, as these negotiations to bring peace to this volatile region drag on and on, we ask for Your will -- and only Your will -- to be done, bringing peace to their
region.

2. Trump gained significant ground with non-white Evangelicals, data shows - The Christian Post

Non-white Evangelicals swung hard to President Donald Trump in the last presidential election, reflecting existing data showing Latino voters of faith have shifted their support toward Republicans, according to a new report.

In an article posted to his Graphs About Religion Substack on Monday, researcher Ryan Burge examined voting patterns among Evangelical Christians of all races in the five most recent presidential elections based on data from the Cooperative Election Study. (Read more here)

- "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." (Epesians 4:1-3)

3. Church rededicated to God after atheist hate crime attack - Christian Post

The Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, has said he's praying for parishioners of St. James’ Church in Leyland, after the church was the victim of a hate crime, apparently perpetrated by one or more atheists.

On the morning of Good Friday, the holiest day in the Christian calendar, parishioners arrived to find that their church had been vandalized with graffiti. The gravestones of parishioners' family members were graffitied.

The graffiti included sexually graphic images and expletives. On the church itself, the words “god is a lie” were sprayed on the outer wall next to an obscene picture.

The Rev. Marc Wolverson described the incident as the worst he’d seen in 28 years. He told the BBC, "I think the kind of people who would do this are just very sad, broken people. "I don't know what would motivate someone to act this way. I feel very sorry for them." (Read more)

- Father God, we pray that these parishioners would seek You to find mercy and
forgiveness for these criminals. Lord God, we ask that You would touch the hearts of these criminals, turning their hearts of stone to a heart of flesh. In Your Name,
Abba, we pray, amen and amen.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Rmans 8:28)

Jordanian authorities have outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, a Hamas ally and Jordan’s largest opposition group, and confiscated its assets after members of the group were found to be linked to a sabotage plot, Interior Minister Mazen Fraya says.

The decision will take immediate effect, officials say.

Last week, Jordanian security forces arrested 16 people linked to the Muslim Brotherhood who were trained and financed in Lebanon and had plotted attacks on targets inside the kingdom involving rockets and drones. (Read more)

6. Istanbul residents flood streets after 6.2-magnitude quake - BBC

A series of earthquakes including a 6.2-magnitude tremor have struck near Istanbul, shaking buildings and prompting people to flee their homes. At least 151 were injured jumping from high places, the governor of Turkey's largest city said on X. There were no deaths and no major structural damage reported, authorities said.

The largest earthquake on Wednesday struck at 12:49 local time (09:49 GMT) at a depth of 6.92 km (4.3 miles), Turkey's emergency services said.

Large groups of people remained on the streets as aftershocks struck in the afternoon, and many have prepared to spend the night outside to safeguard against another strong tremor.

The epicentre of the 6.2-magnitude tremor was located along the coast of the Sea of Marmara, in the Silivri area about 80 km (50 miles) west of Istanbul. City authorities said more than 50 aftershocks had been recorded in the hours since. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: The Politics of Gaslighting About Christ

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, April 23, 2025

Jesus said in Matthew 10:33, “But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” 1 John 2:22 gives the reminder, “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.” It’s one thing to say that Christ is the Son of God and through Him there is salvation, and yet another to believe it and live it. Over the years, politicians have claimed their faith and belief in Jesus the Messiah, but when it comes down to it, perhaps getting the Christian voting block on election day was more important than any real belief. We can see this play out in how recent presidents proclaimed the resurrection in their “Easter” proclamations.

On March 25, 2016, Barack Obama gave what could be considered one of the shortest Easter messages (65 words) by a president in modern times. He simply said, “Michelle and I join our fellow Christians in observing Good Friday and celebrating Easter this weekend. This is a time to remember the sacrifices made for us and hold all who suffer close to our hearts. Yet it is also a time to rejoice, give thanks for the Resurrection, and unite with Christians around the world in proclaiming, “Christ has risen; He has risen indeed.” We wish all who celebrate a blessed and joyful Easter.” To Obama, the Resurrection was something we all were supposed to “unite” with Christians in proclaiming—almost as if Obama was an observer of a distant religion. Highways in the sky: Air taxis could soon slash NYC airport commutes to 10 minutes
The electric aircraft, called Midnight, is a piloted vertical takeoff and landing vehicle designed to carry four passengers and a pilot.

The future of commuting in New York could soon take off. Archer Aviation, in partnership with United Airlines, has announced plans to launch the city’s first air taxi network, aiming to transform airport commutes by reducing travel times from up to two hours by car to just 5–15 minutes by air.

Flights will connect Manhattan with major airports such as JFK, LaGuardia and Newark, as well as regional hubs like Westchester County Airport, Teterboro Airport and Republic Airport.

“The New York region is home to three of the world’s preeminent airports, serving upwards of 150 million passengers annually. But the drive from Manhattan to any of these airports can be painful, taking one, sometimes two hours," Adam Goldstein, CEO and Founder of Archer, said. "We want to change that by giving residents and visitors the option to complete trips in mere minutes."

The electric aircraft, called Midnight, is a piloted vertical takeoff and landing vehicle designed to carry four passengers and a pilot. Midnight can fly up to 100 miles at speeds reaching 150 mph. It uses tilt rotors to lift off and land vertically like a helicopter then shifts into forward flight like a traditional airplane. Read More
