26 Governors Create Border Strike Force ‘In the Absence of Federal Leadership’
|
|
Twenty-six governors, all Republican, announced the creation of a Border Strike Force to “disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations” on April 19.
The group of governors signed a memorandum of understanding, pledging to work together to “serve as a force multiplier to target cartels and criminal networks financially and operationally.”
“Together, governors will improve public safety, protect victims from horrific crimes, reduce the amount of drugs in our communities, and alleviate the humanitarian crisis at the Southern Border,” the agreement states.
The group includes two border states—Arizona and Texas—as well as 24 others: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
“In the absence of federal leadership, states are partnering together to create the American Governors’ Border Strike Force to disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations by increasing collaboration, improving intelligence, investing in analysis, combating human smuggling, and stopping drug flow in our states,” the agreement states. 1. IDF said to strike Gaza terror targets in response to second rocket in 48 hours - Times of Israel
The Israeli military reportedly struck targets in the Gaza Strip after midnight on Thursday in response to a rocket fired from the Hamas-controlled enclave hours earlier, which landed near a home in the southern city of Sderot.
The rocket attack was the second since Monday after almost four months period of quiet on the Gaza border. It came at the tail-end of a tension-filled day in Jerusalem, where Israeli nationalists were prevented by police from marching through the Old City’s Damascus Gate, a popular gathering point for Palestinians. Hamas, the terror group that rules the Gaza Strip, had threatened to attack if the march went ahead.
Palestinian media reports said a site in central Gaza operated by Palestinian factions was struck multiple times in the Wednesday air raid. Footage showed smoke rising from the site following a series of strikes. (Read more)

2. Gaza Terror Groups Unveil Subterranean ‘Tunnel City’ - United with Israel
Palestinian Islamic Jihad unveiled what it called a “tunnel city” below Gaza, giving a tour to Agence France-Pressereporter Adel Zaanoun and photographer Mahmud Hams.
Islamic Jihad told AFP they have tunnels with “both offensive and defensive capabilities.”
An offensive tunnel is one that crosses the border with Israel and “is used for taking Israeli soldiers captive, repelling Israeli ground offensives and carrying out various field operations,” a PIJ commander said. (Read more)

3. Police block Zionist march in Jerusalem, citing security concerns - World Israel News
Tensions in Israel’s capital city were high on Wednesday.
Terror groups issued threats against Israel over widespread arrests of Temple Mount rioters, thousands of Jews gathered in the morning at the Western Wall for a priestly blessing during the Passover festival, and religious Zionist groups were slated to march around the Old City with Israel flags later in the day.
After a deterioration in public safety for Jews in Jerusalem, which has seen numerous observant Jews attacked in brutal, unprovoked assaults and municipal buses stoned by Arab rioters, Zionist groups announced a flag march around the capital city for Wednesday evening. (Read more)

4. Palestinans inside Al-Aqsa Mosque throw Molotov cocktails; right-wingers plan march - Times of Israel
Minor confrontations were reported at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount and the Al-Aqsa Mosque Wednesday morning between Israeli police and Palestinians, with heightened tensions in the city ahead of a planned right-wing march that has not been approved by authorities.
Videos from the mount showed rocks and Molotov cocktails being hurled at cops, including from within Al-Aqsa.
Several firebombs sparked small fires in a mosque and a carpet at an entrance. These were put out. The clashes were limited in scope. (Read more)

5. Iran says 3 Mossad spies arrested after handing over classified documents - Israel Hayom
Iran's intelligence ministry said it had arrested three Mossad spies, according to a statement published by the semi-official Fars news agency.
The statement did not specify the nationalities of the Israeli Intelligence agency's spies but it mentioned they were arrested in Iran's southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan.
According to the Iranian report, the individuals, who are likely Iranian citizens, were arrested following a special directive by law-enforcement authorities following supsicious activity involving the unauthorized transfer of classified documents. (Read more)

1. Biden Administration to Appeal Ruling Against CDC’s Mask Mandate If CDC Recommends It - The Epoch Times
President Joe Biden’s administration will appeal the April 18 ruling that struck down the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) mask mandate, if the CDC recommends an appeal, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
The department and the CDC “disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal, subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health,” Anthony Coley, an agency spokesman, said in a statement.
The CDC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Xavier Becerra, Biden’s health secretary, told reporters in Nevada earlier in the day that the administration was leaning toward appealing. “We are right now in the process of deciding, and we likely will appeal that ruling, but stay tuned,” he said. (Read more)

2. CDC Drops All Countries From Its Top-Level COVID-19 Category - The Epoch Times
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) dropped all countries from its top COVID-19 travel advisory warning. As of Monday, the agency’s travel list showed that dozens of countries were dropped from its “Level 4: Special Circumstances/Do Not Travel” category. “There are no Level 4 COVID-19 Travel Health Notices at this time,” the CDC website reads. Up to 100 countries were deemed “Level 4” by the agency earlier this year.
Now, it appears that many countries that were labeled “Level 4” are designated as “Level 3: COVID-19 High” or “Level 2: COVID-19 Moderate.”
It came days after the federal health agency said it would update its travel advisory system and said the highest-risk category will only be reserved for extreme scenarios.
“To help the public understand when the highest level of concern is most urgent, this new system will reserve Level 4 travel health notices for special circumstances, such as rapidly escalating case trajectory or extremely high case counts, emergence of a new variant of concern, or healthcare infrastructure collapse,” the CDC said in a statement last week. 3. Durham Filing Reveals CIA Knew in Early 2017 That Data Tying Trump to Russia Was Fake - The Epoch Times
As the trial of Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann approaches, special counsel John Durham and Sussmann’s lawyers are arguing over what evidence can be admitted. As part of those arguments, Durham filed a “routine” response late on April 15, detailing why the evidence he’s seeking to admit is both relevant and admissible.
These back-and-forth filings are common in the weeks leading up to federal trials, but the disclosures made by Durham are anything but routine.
The most striking of these disclosures concerns data trails that Sussmann and his cohorts, including “Tech Executive-1” Rodney Joffe, had supposedly uncovered between Trump and the Russian Alfa Bank. It was widely claimed that these data trails established a direct communications channel between Trump and the Russian government.
Sussmann took the data to the FBI in September 2016 hoping to trigger an investigation into Trump and his campaign. The existence of an FBI investigation would then be used by the Clinton campaign as a media kill shot against Trump in the final weeks of the 2016 election.
The scheme didn’t work as planned, and Trump went on to win the election. But this setback didn’t put the brakes on an operation that had now turned into an effort to hobble Trump’s presidency. In February 2017, after Trump was inaugurated, Sussmann took the same data trails to the CIA. (Read more)

4. Texas Gov. Suggests Sending Illegal Immigrants to Biden’s Home State - The Epoch Times
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott suggested Monday that his office may transport illegal immigrants picked up along the U.S.-Mexico border to Delaware, President Joe Biden’s home state.
In recent days, Abbott has authorized sending seven buses with unlawful immigrants from his state to Washington.
“This busing process is going to continue. I want you and the audience to know exactly why we’re doing what we’re doing,” Abbott, a Republican, told Fox News on Monday night. “The Biden administration, they were dropping off illegal immigrants just [into] small towns on the border … we’re not going to allow that to happen.”
If the plan to send illegal immigrants to Washington falls through, Abbott added, “Delaware looks like a great location.”
His comment is similar to one made by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, also a Republican, several weeks ago when he said that his office would transport illegal immigrants from his state to Delaware. Biden owns a home in Delaware and was a U.S. senator representing the state for decades.
Abbott previously said he is attempting to highlight what he described as the Biden administration’s mismanagement of the U.S.-Mexico border after the White House confirmed it would allow the Title 42 health rule to expire next month.
Republicans and a growing number of Democrats have called on Biden to reinstate the health order, arguing that allowing it to expire would send a signal to illegal immigrants to come to the United States. The Customs and Border Protection confirmed this week that officials have made more than 1 million arrests since October of last year and made nearly 210,000 arrests along the border in March 2022. - Heavenly Father, thank you that a few Democrats are waking up and at least want some border regulations, especially extending Title 42 until other measures are in place. May we soon see more! And, if sending busloads of immigrants to Delaware as well as to DC will foster a rethinking of the Biden Administration’s border policies and Title 42, then we pray for as many buses/aliens needed to promote change and to secure our borders. Father, cause each voter to pray and to contact their elected officials at the state and federal level to make their concerns known regarding the illegal immigrants. We pray, Lord, that it will not require some horrible calamity before appropriate action is taken.

5. State Legislators Have Introduced 536 Bills This Year to Protect Babies From Abortions - Life News
It’s only April, and already lawmakers in 42 states have introduced 536 pro-life bills, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion research group. In comparison, 663 pro-life bills were introduced in all of 2021.
“The anti-abortion rights movement is invigorated — and it appears to be winning,” the left-leaning Huffington Post commented this week in response to the numbers. “The year is shaping up to be the most devastating on record for abortion rights.”
What is devastating for abortion is good for human rights in America. Hundreds of thousands of unborn babies could be spared from abortion and their right to life protected if these bills pass and go into effect. (Read more)

6. After AG Garland war on parents memo, school boards ‘limiting public comment’, banning parents says Free Speech Attorney - Just The News
Southeastern Legal Foundation Chief Counsel Kimberly Hermann discusses the lawsuit she filed against Missouri School Board Association for lack of transparency.
This comes after reports of increased silencing of parents following the controversial memo sent by Attorney General Merrick Garland ordering “the FBI to take action against parents who wanted to speak up at school board meetings, who were advocating for their children, all the way to really even labeling them as domestic terrorists.” Since then school boards across the United States have begun “limiting public comment”, in ways like “cutting off parents mics”, “limiting the number of times that parents can come before the school board”, “closing the doors, and they are even banning parents from speaking at these meetings”. - Lord God, we come against this divisive plan and mentality to separate parents from the affairs that affect their children. We come against the mentality that the government or the state is in charge of children and not the families or parents in the name of Jesus Christ. We cut at the root of this division and we say you must cease and desist right now in Jesus name.

7. Conservative County Board Member Wins Re-Election After Recount - Kenosha County Eye
Conservative Kenosha County Board Member Zach Rodriguez will be on the board for another two years. After a recount Saturday that lasted about 4 hours, a machine error, an unsigned absentee ballot, and a random name pull, Rodriguez was declared the winner. On election night, political newcomer Alyssa Williams(D) was narrowly declared the winner, obtaining 371 votes to Rodriguez’s 369 with a difference of only two.
During the recount, Williams lost a vote because the absentee ballot wasn’t filled out correctly and Rodriguez gained a vote because the machine improperly rejected the ballot for him, leaving the total at 370 to 370. Chief Deputy County Clerk Michelle Nelson then pulled a name out of an Easter bucket – the name was Rodriguez’s.
According to County Clerk Regi Bachochin, this the first time a race in Kenosha County was reversed after a recount, which she said was likely due to the incredibly small margin. This is also the first time an election was decided at random. Rodriguez, who said a prayer with supporters before the random drawing, thanked all of the county staff and poll worker for their hard work on their otherwise day off. (Read more)

8. Florida Senate Passes Bill to End Disney’s Special Tax Jurisdiction - Brietbart
The Senate passed S. 4-C, which is the legislation that would dissolve the Reedy Creek Improvement District, otherwise known as the special tax and governing jurisdiction for the Walt Disney World Resort.
The legislation passed with 23 votes in favor of the bill, and 16 against the bill.
The Florida legislature authorized the special district in 1967 to boost economic development and tourism; however, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Florida Republicans proposed the legislation to eliminate the special district after Disney has continued to oppose DeSantis’s Parental Rights in Education Bill and also pushed to incorporate “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in its stories.” (Read more)

9. Rural Nevada counties reconsidering Dominion for elections, return to paper ballots, hand-counting - Just The News
Rural county commissioners in Nevada are looking to move away from using Dominion Voting Systems and return to paper ballots and hand-counting in elections. On Tuesday, Esmeralda County commissioners voted to ask their county clerk to use paper ballots and count them by hand for all future elections, rather than use electronic voting equipment, The Nevada Independent reported. The county has little more than 600 registered voters, the majority of which are Republican. Former President Donald Trump received 82% of the vote in Esmeralda County in 2020.
Jim Marchant, a GOP candidate for Nevada secretary of state, presented the idea of switching to paper ballots during the Tuesday meeting. Esmeralda County clerk and treasurer LaCinda Elgan responded to Marchant's presentation by saying the electronic voting machines the county uses have not been connected to the internet and that there are multiple tests and security measure to ensure the accurate counting and recording of votes. She also noted that some voters prefer using an electronic voting machine to vote.
However, Elgan did not immediately say what action she would take regarding the issue. (Read more)

10. Shareholders await Musk’s next move in Twitter takeover bid - Associated Press
Twitter has dropped a major roadblock in front of Elon Musk’s effort to take over the company, leaving investors to wonder about the mercurial Tesla CEO’s next move.
The social media company has adopted a “poison pill” defense that makes it difficult for Musk or any other investor to buy Twitter without the board of directors’ approval. Musk, who currently owns about 9% of the company, last week disclosed an offer of about $43 billion, or $54.20 per share.
Twitter’s next likely move is to formally reject Musk’s offer, although it could negotiate. Musk has a number of options which also include talks with the board, sweetening his offer, or even triggering the poison pill, which experts say would be disastrous for the company. (Read more)

11. Biden administration announces $6 billion plan to save US nuke reactors, promote 'clean energy' - Just The News
The Biden administration has announced a $6 billion plan to keep open nuclear power plants across the country and further its "clean energy" agenda. The plan is being led by the Energy Department through its Civil Nuclear Credit Program.
The agency announced the plan Tuesday and told owners and operators of nuclear power reactors that are expected to shut down due to economic circumstances how to avoid premature closure and apply for funding – including instructions on formulating and submitting sealed bids for the allocation of credits.
The money is being made available through the $1 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that President Biden signed into law in November 2021. About 52% of the United States' so-called clean energy is nuclear power.
"President Biden is committed to keeping these plants active to reach our clean energy goals," Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said in announcing the plan. (Read more)

12. Ukrainian commander in Mariupol says his men only have hours remaining - New York Post
A Ukrainian commander holed up in Mariupol said early Wednesday that his men might only have a few hours left before Russian troops take control of the besieged city. “This is our last address to the world. It may be our last one ever. It is possible that we have just days or hours left,” marine Major Serhiy Volyna said in a chilling video message, the BBC reported.
He said his troops would not surrender but pleaded for international aid for the 500 wounded soldiers and hundreds of women and children hunkering down inside a steel plant.
“We call on world leaders to help us. We urge them to organize an extraction to take us to a third country,” Volyna said from the massive Azovstal Iron and Steel Works plant. The units of the enemy exceed ours dozens of times, they prevail in the air, in artillery, in ground troops, and in machines and tanks,” added the commander of the 36th Marine Brigade. (Read more)

Stupidocrisy: Possible Nuclear War

This week’s Stupidocrisy goes to Russian “president” Vladimir Putin. From the beginning of his invasion of Ukraine, he has acted the world-class bully. Just Saturday, the US Sun reported and showed pictures of a Russian TU-160 nuclear bomber buzzing the skies near the Ukraine border in what could be construed as one of the most chilling and intimidating war moves yet by the embattled Putin. Putin has been seen carrying his attaché case with the nuclear code. Putin’s diplomats have repeatedly made mention of the word “nuclear” if the US or NATO got involved in directly assisting Ukraine. There have been reports of extreme atrocities by Russian soldiers and the targeting of Ukrainian civilians.
Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky has been sounding the nuclear alarm since the sinking of Russia’s Moskva battleship last Thursday. On Saturday, Zelensky told Ukrainians to prepare for a nuclear attack by stockpiling iodine to mitigate radiation. He said, “We shouldn’t wait for the moment when Russia decides to use nuclear weapons…We must prepare for that.” In addition, TASS news agency cited Russian ambassador-at-large Nikolai Korchunov as saying on Sunday that increased activity of NATO forces in the Arctic risks “unintended incidents” occurring in the region. Korchunov said, “The recent increase in NATO’s activity in the Arctic is a cause for concern. Another large-scale military exercise of the alliance was recently held in northern Norway. In our view, this does not contribute to the security of the region.”
Korchunov was referring to combined NATO military drills with Finland and Sweden beginning in March. The drills were long-planned, but Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24 drew more heightened awareness of the NATO military exercise. This is an age-old Soviet tactic of propagandizing everything and using it to justify their actions. Thousands of Ukrainian civilians have died because of Putin. It would appear that Putin’s Soviet-style military doctrine is not as successful as he would have hoped. It appears that Putin misjudged his military strength and the will of the Ukrainian people to defend their homeland—something socialists, communists, and fascists often underestimate.
Putin is trying to bully people into submission. He is doing so at the extraordinary threat of nuclear annihilation. In any other time in history, this would be considered not only dangerous, but the musings of a madman. To threaten the world with such destruction without provocation, but projecting one’s own provocation, Putin is putting everyone’s well-being at risk, especially given the vacuum of good leadership around the world. And the sad thing is, sometime or someday, somebody is going to pull the trigger on something bad because of all this push. As Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Desperately wicked indeed. Here we have one person, Putin, who like Hitler or Stalin or Hirohito or Mussolini, has become a danger to all humanity. It is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

We take today's article to heart, committing even more so to stand watch over these threats from Vladimir Putin, and to bind the spirit of anger that is causing him to be a danger to the nations of the world.

Porcupines are wreaking havoc at Israel’s nuclear facility

According to staff and scientists at Israel’s nuclear research facility near Dimona in the Negev desert, it’s neither the Islamic Republic of Iran nor terror groups Hezbollah and Hamas that pose the biggest threat to the site.
Rather, that dubious honor goes to desert porcupines.
These spiky creatures have descended upon the nuclear facility and its surroundings , wreaking havoc on everything from gardens to water pipes and posing a risk to the safety of employees at the site as well as to its physical infrastructure.
Orit and David, two employees of the research facility identified only by their first names, pleaded with administrators to step up porcupine removal efforts in an open letter obtained by Ynet.
“We’ve been fighting them for years but getting nowhere. They are creating holes in the lawn in order to reach roots and build burrows,” the pair wrote.

Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Moves to Intervene in Case Brought by John Durham

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is moving to intervene in a case brought by special counsel John Durham against Michael Sussmann, a lawyer who represented the campaign when he brought information to the FBI alleging a link between Donald Trump and Russia in 2016.
At the time, Clinton was the Democratic presidential nominee and Trump was the Republican nominee; Trump went on to win the election.
Federal prosecutors are seeking to compel Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), and Fusion GPS, the firm they hired to conduct opposition research on Trump, to produce documents that the government may want to admit during the trial of Sussmann, who has been charged with lying to the FBI for allegedly claiming he wasn’t bringing the derogatory information about Trump on behalf of a client.
The campaign “asserts its attorney-client privilege and the attorney-work-product protection with respect to all documents and information under the control of Perkins Coie or any of its consultants, including Fusion GPS” and “is not waiving any of its privileges, and it opposes the government’s motion to compel,” John Podesta, chairman of the campaign, told the court in one filing.
In another filing, Robby Mook, who served as campaign manager, said that one of the topics on which Perkins provided “legal services and legal advice” to the campaign “involved fact-finding and research that the campaign conducted regarding” Trump.
“Although I was not aware during the campaign of any contractors that Perkins Coie engaged to assist it in providing legal services and legal advice regarding this work, I did believe throughout the campaign that whatever work Perkins Coie performed, either through its own professionals or through any contractors it may have engaged to assist it, the work was done for the purpose of providing legal services and legal advice to” the campaign, he added. Speaking of Communist China

Leading House Republicans, including GOP Whip Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan and James Comer, set the stage this week for a major investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
First, the Republican congressmen sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services demanding that the EcoHealth Alliance lose access to federal funds.
The group, led by Dr. Peter Daszak, was the primary conduit through which Dr. Anthony Fauci funneled taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute for Virology to conduct gain of function research in violation of federal law.
Second, they sent a letter to Dr. Kristian Andersen about his role in suppressing information about the "lab leak theory." Andersen has previously denied such involvement.
But new reporting by Vanity Fair suggests he was deeply involved in shutting down discussions of the lab leak theory. House Republicans are offering him a chance to "correct the record."
The Vanity Fair report also indicates that Daszak is not cooperating with demands to produce information because he's "waiting for the Chinese government to authorize the release" of the information. In other words, Daszak is still taking his orders from Beijing, even though American taxpayers are funding his research.
These are the kind of letters congressmen send to warn of potential perjury charges and far-reaching investigations. Right now, Scalise, Jordan and Comer, because they are in the minority, do not have the authority to pursue the issue any further. But their letters indicate what will happen if there are conservative House and Senate majorities next year.
In addition, there obviously needs to be an in-depth investigation into Hunter Biden and whether the Biden family is compromised by communist China. In fact, Joe Biden should welcome that investigation seeing as a new poll finds that 64% of Americans, including 24% of Democrats, believe he is compromised by communist China. That's not good.
We need a major investigation into the massive fraud and abuse of COVID relief funds. And there should also be an investigation into how Nancy Pelosi became such a Wall Street wizard.
None of this is being seriously investigated now because the left doesn't want government corruption exposed.

Historic Merry Oak tree damaged during storm given a 'new life'

At close to 300 years old, the tree was older than the United States itself and considered a sacred landmark. Nearly two years ago a storm destroyed it, but a new initiative will ensure that its importance lives on.
A historic white oak tree that is more than three centuries old has been given a renewed purpose following its death during a storm in 2020.
The historically important tree, located on the campus of Virginia Tech and known widely as the Merry Oak, was a place where members of the enslaved community at Smithfield Plantation would gather for meetings, religious ceremonies, and celebrations like weddings and funerals. That land has since been purchased and is owned by Virginia Tech.
The tree likely stood long before European colonists settled in the area and became an important symbol for the enslaved workers and their descendants, including Keri Moseley-Hobbs, whose four-times-grandfather Thomas Fraction was once enslaved at Smithfield.
"The first time I came to Smithfield, I paused and stared up at the tree from the top of the hill before I even knew what it was,” Moseley-Hobbs told VTx, a school-run publication. “As we find other's descendants and bring them there, there’s always an emotional reaction and connection to the tree.” Read More

Lawmakers Override Kentucky's Dem Governor Veto of Bill to Ban Transgenders from Girls' Sports

The Democratic governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, vetoed a bill last week that would have prohibited transgender "women" (biological males) from playing on girls' sports teams. However, the veto was overridden on April 13 by Kentucky legislators and the new law goes into effect immediately. The vote to override the governor's veto was 29-8 in the Kentucky Senate and 72-23 in the Kentucky House. When he vetoed the legislation on April 6, Gov. Beshear said the proposal violated the "equal protection rights" of "transgender children seeking to participate in girls' or women's sports."
Under the new law, the Fairness in Women's Sports Act, any school that participates in interscholastic athletics must designate all of its "athletic teams, activities, and sports for students in grades six through twelve" as either boys, coed, or girls. "A student's biological sex" is determined by what it says on a student's "original, unedited birth certificate issued at the time of birth," reads the legislation. In addition, the law states, "An athletic activity or sport designated as 'girls' for students in grades six (6) through twelve (12) shall not be open to members of the male sex."
"This is a huge win for the integrity of women's sports," said State Sen. Robby Mills (R-Henderson). "Kentucky is a leading voice for female athletes across the nation. The Kentucky General Assembly stands in support of female athletes everywhere as they work hard to achieve their goals and dreams." Riley Gaines, a real female who swims for the University of Kentucky, said, "I know I speak for the majority of female athletes across every NCAA sport when I say biological males should not be competing against women. It's crucial for the NCAA to open its eyes and recognize the irrefutable damage being done to everything Title IX stands for," she said, "equity, fairness and creating opportunities for women to succeed at an elite level and in life."
