Anti-Israel agitators shut down traffic, disrupt cities all across US in demand for Gaza ceasefire

Agitators called for a 'global rally' to demand a ceasefire in Gaza
|
|
As hundreds of anti-Israel agitators stopped traffic in California along the Golden Gate Bridge and in Oakland, several other large protests have surfaced across the country. "The worst tactics, the worst cause, the worst people," Guy Benson wrote in response on X.
In New York City, nearly 300 protesters gathered outside the New York Stock Exchange on Monday morning. Protesters were heard chanting "free, free Palestine" - "Palestine will never die" - "from Wall Street to Palestine… intifada" - "Israel bombs. USA pays. How many kids did you kill today?" Many of the protesters were also carrying watermelon balloons, which are a symbol of Palestinian solidarity.
It is unclear where the protesters are traveling to, but Fox 5 NYC has reported that protesters are now flooding the Brooklyn Bridge. Burning flares are now being used by police on the Brooklyn Bridge as officers work to block the rest of the protesters from walking onto the bridge.
In Chicago, protesters blocked traffic to O'Hare Airport, causing delays that lasted for several hours after the protest was broken up by police. Chicago Police told Fox News that 40 people in total were arrested and that charges are pending.
"We need new laws that if you block American roads to protest you go to jail for at least six months with no bail or early release. That would end all of this in a hurry. (And look at these losers still wearing masks outdoors too. They are all mentally ill," Clay Travis wrote on X.
Anti-Israel agitators gathered outside of Philadelphia's City Hall on Monday morning, drawing a noticeable police presence. However, no arrests were reported.
Protesters also flooded downtown Miami and downtown Tampa, calling for a ceasefire in the ongoing war in Gaza.
"In Florida, we drag these people out of the road and arrest them," Bryan Griffin, Communications Director for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis commented on a video of anti-Israel agitators being restrained by officers. "In Florida, anyone who blocks traffic will be immediately arrested. This includes any act that obstructs the normal flow of traffic, such as standing, approaching, or endangering the safe movement of vehicles or pedestrians," Florida Highway Patrol wrote in response to the nation-wide demonstrations.
"Take notes NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and D.C. Letting protestors obstruct your roadways is a choice," the Heritage Foundation wrote, calling out the response efforts of the protests in other Democrat-led cities. (Fox News) Read more here.

Parents groups react to study showing puberty blockers could cause permanent problems in boys: 'Unforgivable'

'The science, or lack thereof, has shown that we were right all along,' one parent group said
|

Parents groups sounded off on a new medical study which found fertility blockers could cause long-term fertility and health problems in boys.
The study from the Mayo Clinic, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, analyzed more than 130,000 sperm cells from male children with gender dysphoria. The researchers examined the testicular cells of boys who had been on puberty blockers anywhere from three months to 52 months, and compared them to cells of a control group who had not been on the blockers.
Among those on puberty blockers, the researchers identified mild to severe "sex gland atrophy," determining that the medications accelerated the aging and function of testicular cells.
The findings suggest that puberty blockers’ impacts may be permanent — disputing claims that such effects can be reversed. (Read more)

The U.S. Supreme Court issued an emergency order late on April 15 allowing Idaho to resume enforcing a state ban on sex-change-related procedures for minors after the law was blocked by a lower court.

Supreme Court Issues 9–0 Decision in Big Win for US Property Owners | Facts Matter

In a unanimous decision on Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a rare victory for American property owners.

Exclusive — ‘He’s Not Resigning’: Speaker Johnson Defiant After Casting Deciding Vote to Continue Deep State’s Warrantless Surveillance

House Speaker Mike Johnson’s office told Breitbart News exclusively that he intends to remain as Speaker of the House after he cast the deciding vote against ending the deep state’s warrantless surveillance of American citizens on Friday.
Johnson, who is now rushing down to Mar-a-Lago to hope former President Donald Trump gives him a lifeline, is facing serious questions as to whether or not he can continue in the position after a string of major policy failures on his watch. Johnson intends to hold a press conference with Trump to unveil a messaging bill meant to stop illegal aliens from voting. The proposal is not serious, and stands no chance in the Senate. Using Trump like this, as a shield with a messaging bill that is not serious, has rubbed lots of Trump-aligned movement leaders the wrong way in a big way.
“He’s not resigning,” Raj Shah, the Speaker’s spokesman, told Breitbart News when asked about rumors that he was considering leaving the post. “No,” Shah reiterated when asked if Johnson was considering stepping down.
... Regardless of how this all shakes out, though, the chaos surrounding House Republicans is not a good factor for their efforts to hold or even add to their majority in November. But things are not as bad electorally as they might look, as the list of battleground districts that could determine the party that controls the majority is heavily slanted to the GOP.
Another thing to watch will be how Trump handles all of this. Whether Trump embraces Johnson warmly, or he distances himself from Johnson’s repeated failures and mistakes, could determine Johnson’s future or lack thereof. The first evidence of that will likely play out on Friday afternoon as the two of them hold a joint press conference. But the fact of the matter is while Trump himself is being gracious in extending that opportunity to Johnson, the speaker is on a very, very, very short leash right now and Trump world may cut him loose sooner rather than later depending on what negatives Johnson brings into Trump’s orbit. Trump is currently performing very strongly in the presidential election—his entire focus at the moment is defeating Democrat President Joe Biden and retaking the White House—so any baggage Johnson offloads onto him could become a burden too bulky to bear. 1. IDF has decided on type, not timing, of counter-strike on Iran - Jerusalem Post
The IDF has decided how it will counter-strike Iran and its proxies but has not yet settled on the timing; multiple sources told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.
Because the timing is still variable and because of all the necessary complex preparations, the current decision could change.
However, the very development of a decision shows the severity and determination of Israel’s leadership to strike back, though all indications are that Jerusalem still seeks to tamp down the attack to avoid spiraling into a regional war. (Read more)

2. Israel’s war Cabinet is locked between restraint and revenge - CNBC
Vowing retribution but urged to show restraint, Israel has yet to agree on its response to an expansive drone and missile strike carried out on its territories by Iran on Saturday.
A Monday meeting of Israel’s five-person war Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, concluded without comment on whether the Jewish state will honor its pledge to “exact a price” from Tehran or concede to calls for a measured response from international leaders.
The prolonged deliberation came after the Israeli military said that Iran on Saturday fired more than 300 drones and missiles at its soil. It claimed that it and international allies eliminated 99% of these attacks as part of its now-dubbed “Iron Shield” operation.

3. Israel welcomes EU move to impose sanctions on Iran following its attack - Times of Israel
Foreign Minister Israel Katz praises the outcome of the EU foreign ministers meeting earlier today, saying there is a “positive trend” toward adopting sanctions against Iran’s missile project and its proxies in the Middle East.
He also says in a tweet that a mechanism for making progress on designating the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps as a terrorist organization will be established at the EU Foreign Affairs Council next week in Luxembourg.
Katz calls the development “an unprecedented achievement” for Israel at the EU.

4. Iranians call for Israel to attack IRGC leaders - Israel National News
BBC has published a letter signed by numerous Iranian activists, both inside Iran and in other countries, expressing anger against the IRGC.
"No to warmongering!" the letter declares, and asserts that Iranians also see the emerging war as being more for the government than the country.
Iran has recently increased police presence in Tehran, under the guise of enforcing Islamic dress codes, itself a matter of controversy, but in reality working to quell any resistance to the regime.
Some graffiti has appeared on walls in Iranian cities - "Israel, strike the supreme leader's [Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's] house," reads one. "Israel hit them, they lack the courage to retaliate," read another. (Read more)

5. Hezbollah commander killed in Israeli airstrike - World Israel News
A senior Hezbollah terrorist was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon Tuesday, following a series of Hezbollah attacks on Israel.
Ismail Yusuf Baz, commander of Hezbollah’s coastal operations, was killed when Israeli aircraft struck a vehicle driving through the town of Ain Ebel near the Israeli-Lebanese frontier.
Shortly after the airstrike, a source in Hezbollah informed AFP that a regional commander had been killed.
“The field commander in charge of the Naqura region has been martyred in an Israeli strike,” the Hezbollah official said. (Read more)

On January 6, 2021 Jake attended the protest and rally in Washington DC because he believed the election was stolen from Donald Trump. Jake was one of the over one million Trump supporters who turned out that day to hear President Trump speak at the Ellipse in Washington DC.
Later that day, Jake walked to the US Capitol, where he was gassed and trampled when Capitol Police pushed Trump supporters down the stairs. Jake was nearly killed when he was buried under a sea of bodies as US Capitol police continued to push Trump supporters down the steps on top of him.
Jake was able to crawl out from under the pile. He then saw that Trump supporter Philip Anderson was knocked out and being smothered under the pile of protesters so he pulled Philip to safety and saved his life. Jake and others were there when Rosanne Boyland was killed that day. Rosanne was pushed down by police, trampled, and then beaten with a police stick by Officer Lila Morris. Rosanne died on the steps of the US Capitol.
Two weeks ago, General Michael Flynn and The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft held a Twitter space for Jake Lang who was “celebrating” his fourth birthday in prison. Jake has not been tried yet in a DC Kangaroo Court for his actions that day. (Read more)

2. Lawmakers, Privacy Experts Sound Alarm on Most ‘Terrifying Expansions of Government Surveillance’ in History in Spy Powers Bill - Breitbart
Lawmakers and privacy experts on both sides of the political spectrum are sounding the alarm on a provision in a spy powers reform bill that one senator described as one of the “most terrifying expansions of government surveillance” in history.
Eighty-six House Republicans last Friday voted for the Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act (RISAA), a bill that would reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Section 702 is a government surveillance authority that is meant to target foreign adversaries, but often surveils Americans’ communications without a warrant.
Despite the outrage at the passage of the legislation, 110 Republicans also voted for an amendment proposed by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH) and committee Ranking Member Jim Himes (D-CT) that would seek dramatically expand the ability for the government to surveil Americans’ communications.
The measure updates the definition of electronic service provider to also include “any other service provider who has access to equipment that is being or may be used to transmit or store wire or electronic communications.”
The amendment would significantly expand the number of businesses and their employees who could be compelled to spy on their customers and provide warrantless access to their communications systems in accordance to this controversial FISA provision.
This provision has been referred to by privacy advocates as a “trojan horse” for “PATRIOT Act 2.0.”
Steve Bradbury, a distinguished fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel at the Justice Department under George W. Bush, told Breitbart News during a press conference on Monday that the Turner-Himes is so vast in scope that experts may not truly understand how many companies, staffers, and other entities may be forced to surveil Americans. Former President Donald Trump after his first day in court as part of the hush money case blasted Judge Juan Merchan for likely not allowing him to attend his son Barron’s graduation ceremony on May 17.
“Who will explain for me, to my wonderful son, Barron, who is a GREAT Student at a fantastic School, that his Dad will likely not be allowed to attend his Graduation Ceremony, something that we have been talking about for years, because a seriously Conflicted and Corrupt New York State Judge wants me in Criminal Court on a bogus ‘Biden Case’ which, according to virtually all Legal Scholars and Pundits, has no merit, and should NEVER have been brought,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
Trump has pointed out in numerous posts on Truth Social that Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, runs a firm that runs digital campaigns for Democrat candidates, including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s 2020 campaign. One of her top clients is Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is raising money off of the trial, according to the New York Post.

While it's meant to be salacious in order to offend Christians and others, we can see right through the obvious contempt that is being shown to our entire justice system. 4. Mark Driscoll Kicked Out of Men's Conference for Rebuking 'Jezebel Spirit' at Event - CBN
Mark Driscoll, who is no stranger to controversy, stepped into the heat again over the weekend.
The once-embattled preacher, who resigned in 2014 from his role as founding pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington, amid accusations he abused his spiritual authority, took to the stage over the weekend at the Stronger Men’s Conference, where he deviated from his planned message to rebuke what he described as the “Jezebel Spirit” present in the Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Missouri.
Driscoll, 53, was swiftly called out and removed from the platform by John Lindell, lead pastor of James River Church, which organized the annual men’s event.
But before he was de-platformed, Driscoll spoke for several minutes, beginning with a condemnation of the myriad sexual identities that have become ubiquitous in Western culture before turning his address toward the kickoff of the Stronger Men’s Conference, which he saw as morally and spiritually problematic. 5. Flyers Distributed by a Mexican NGO Instruct Illegal Aliens to Vote for Biden in Upcoming U.S. Election: “We Need Another Four Years of His Term to Stay Open” - The Gateway Pundit
Flyers instructing illegal immigrants to vote for Joe Biden in the forthcoming U.S. election have been reportedly distributed at a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Mexico, according to an investigation by The Oversight Project, a watchdog initiative linked to the Heritage Foundation.
The controversial flyers were discovered scattered around the Resource Center Matamoras (RCM), an establishment known for aiding migrants. Some of these were even found on the walls inside port-a-potties at the location.
The Muckraker.com, an investigative account on X, first brought this issue to light, showcasing images of the flyers that read: “Reminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States. We need another four years of his term to stay open.”
“CRITICAL – We exposed an NGO in Mexico that is instructing illegals to vote for Biden when they cross into the United States. Claims of illegals being instructed to vote in elections has been labeled a “conspiracy theory”, until now…” Muckraker wrote.

Prophetic Considerations Of The Iran Attack On Israel

The recent Iranian attack on Israel was certainly a prophetic moment. One of the infamous end time players, the terrorist state of Iran, launched a historic attack on Israel. Thanks to Israeli defenses, the attack didn’t succeed. Have no doubt: Iran’s, and its allies who joined in the attack, stated mission is to wipe Israel from the face of the earth. The attack demonstrated that Iran’s military capabilities are not what Iran, at least, thinks they are, and Israel’s defenses are better than expected. It also shows that end time players are now emboldened to directly attack Israel, possibly from the incredibly weak US leadership that no longer stands in the gap of deterrence. And this also has prophetic implications.
Many from the prophetic side will point to Ezekiel 38. Ezekiel 38:2 says, “…set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against them.” Magog, Meshech, Tubal are all located in what is now modern Turkey. Verse 5 says, “Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them…” Later it mentions Gomer, Togarmah, Sheba and Dedan. This was not the Ezekiel 38 end time battle. It lacked direct participation from many of the players, notably Meshech, Tubal and Magog in Turkey as well as Libya, and Saudi Arabia. Likewise, this is not the Psalm 83 war because it also lacks players such as Edom (modern day Jordan). In fact, Jordan came to Israel’s aid during the attack. Read More

Conservative Supreme Court justices seemed generally sympathetic on April 16 to a former police officer charged under an accounting reform law after he entered the U.S. Capitol for four minutes on Jan. 6, 2021.
The case is being closely watched because whenever the Supreme Court rules, its decision could have an impact on hundreds of Jan. 6 prosecutions, including the Jan. 6-related case against President Donald Trump.
Joseph Fischer, from Jonestown, Pennsylvania, was indicted on several counts following the Capitol breach on Jan. 6, including obstructing an official proceeding under Enron-era obstruction law 18 United States Code Section 1512(c). Convictions under the section can lead to 20 years in prison.
The wording of 1512(c) is focused on documentation and ensuring it is made available for official proceedings.
Section 1512(c) states: “Whoever corruptly (1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or (2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.”
The charge relates to the alleged obstruction of the congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election results, a proceeding that paved the way for the inauguration of President Joe Biden two weeks later.
Mr. Fischer argues that he should not have been charged under section 1512(c), an evidence-tampering provision of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act aimed at curbing wrongdoing on Wall Street.
Until the Jan. 6 prosecutions, 1512(c) had never been used for anything other than evidence tampering, he said.
U.S. Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar said 1512(c) is not a narrow legal provision.
The provision “by its terms is not limited to evidence impairment. Instead, it’s a classic catch-all” with regard to obstruction, she said. (The Epoch TImes)

In the view of the Biden administration, restraint, like virtue, is its own reward. Having helped Israel fend off an unprecedented Iranian missile and drone attack on Saturday night, President Joe Biden reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he should consider the successful interdiction of almost every one of the projectiles hurled at the Jewish state to be enough of a victory to satisfy his country and made it clear that Israel should refrain from ordering a retaliatory strike on the Islamist regime. Those calls were echoed by America's European allies and others in the region.
Much like the world's reaction to the atrocities perpetrated by Iran's terrorist proxy Hamas in southern Israel on Oct. 7, the international community firmly believes that the best thing for Israel to do is exercise restraint.
There are reasonable arguments to be made for Israel to think carefully about the kind of response to Iran's decision to escalate the ongoing conflict between the two countries. But the notion that Israeli security is best served by doing nothing or as little as possible--always Washington's advice whenever Israel is attacked--is not as reasonable as both Biden's apologists and Netanyahu's critics seem to think. Increasing share of young adults say the Bible has transformed their lives: poll

New research reveals that the share of young adults who think the Bible has had a transformative effect on their lives has increased even as a majority of them remain “Scripture Disengaged.” The American Bible Society released the first installment of its State of the Bible USA 2024 report Thursday. The first chapter, titled “The Bible in America Today,” examines the incidence of Bible usage and Bible reading in the United States in addition to sampling respondents’ views on the effects of the Bible on their lives. The information in the report is based on responses collected from 2,506 U.S. adults between Jan. 4 and 23, 2024, with a margin of error of +/-2.73 percentage points.
One question included in the survey asked respondents if they agreed that “the message of the Bible has transformed my life.” A slightly higher share of those surveyed in 2024 (58%) either “somewhat” or “strongly” agreed that the Bible had a transformative effect on their lives compared to 2023 (57%). The percentages of adults belonging to Generation X, born between 1965 and 1980, who “somewhat” or “strongly” agreed about the transformative effect of the Bible on their lives in both 2023 and 2024 matched the figures for the population as a whole. The share of respondents in Generation Z, the youngest group of American adults defined as those born in 1997 or later, that cited the Bible as a source of transformation in their lives increased from 50% in 2023 to 54% in 2024. American Bible Society Chief Program Officer and Editor-in-Chief of the State of the Bible series John Farquhar Plake, reacted to this statistic in a statement published Thursday. “Our youngest adults show signs of interest in the Bible, curiosity about it, and transformative interaction with it,” he said. “If this trend continues, we have good reason for hope.” (Christian Post) Read More Here.
