White House announces new sanctions on Iran following attack against Israel: 'The pressure will continue'
|
|
Jake Sullivan says that President Biden is 'coordinating with allies and partners...on a comprehensive response'
|
|
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan released a statement Tuesday announcing that new sanctions will be placed against Iran in the wake of the regime's attacks against Israel last weekend.
The new sanctions come amid Republican criticism of the Biden administration for purportedly not being tough enough on Iran, after the White House extended a waiver that allowed Iran to access to $10 billion of previously escrowed funds in November 2023.
In a press release, Sullivan announced that President Biden is "coordinating with allies and partners, including the G7, and with bipartisan leaders in Congress, on a comprehensive response."
"In the coming days, the United States will impose new sanctions targeting Iran, including its missile and drone program as well as new sanctions against entities supporting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran’s Defense Ministry," the statement read. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Abba, we give you praise and glory that the Biden regime is finally taking some action against Iran for its attack on Israel. We ask that each of the sanctions be created to limit Iran's ability to build offensive weapons, including their push for atomic bombs. We ask Holy Spirit to interfere in all weapons production, allow parts to be faulty, let mistakes be made in the build, in Jesus' name.
Father God, we ask You to bring to a halt all provision for raw materials, all piece parts production stopped, in Jesus' name. Jesus, speak to the hearts of all responsible in the Biden regime for giving Iran access to the billions of dollars that were used in part to attack your people, let them know how you see that decision. Bring all of Iran's intentions to inflict harm on any nation to dust, in Jesus' name.
We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all.
- "I called to the Lord, who is
worthy of praise, and I have
been saved from my enemies."

Legal experts say Biden admin's legal theory in Jan 6 prosecution 'on the ropes' after Supreme Court argument
|
|
Decision expected this summer in case that could have implications for former President Trump
|
|
Legal experts said the Biden administration was "on the ropes" in Tuesday’s oral arguments at the Supreme Court in a case questioning whether a Jan. 6 rioter can be charged with a federal "obstruction" crime, which carries implications for former President Trump.
On Tuesday, Jeffrey Green, lawyer for Joseph Fischer – who is one of more than 300 people charged by the Justice Department with "obstruction of an official proceeding" in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol – argued that the federal statute shouldn’t apply and that it had only ever been applied to evidence-tampering cases.
The Justice Department argued that Fischer’s actions were a "deliberate attempt" to stop a joint session of Congress directly from certifying the 2020 election, thus qualifying their use of the statute that criminalizes behavior that "otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do" and carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
But legal experts told Fox News Digital that the government’s argument started to "fall apart" after questioning from the justices.
Jonathan Turley, a practicing criminal defense attorney and professor at George Washington University, praised Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar as one of "the best appellate litigators" but said she appeared "clearly on the ropes" and "made some uncharacteristic concessions" on Tuesday.
At one point, Justice Neil Gorsuch questioned whether, under the government’s argument, heckling at the State of the Union address or the recent incident of Rep. Jaamal Bowman, D-N.Y., pulling a fire alarm and diverting a House vote would constitute "obstruction."
"There are multiple elements of the [statute] that I think might not be satisfied by those hypotheticals," Prelogar replied, adding that obstruction requires "meaningful interference" and "corrupt intent." (Fox News) Read more here.

|
- Abba, we so need your help! We ask You to move on the hearts of all Supreme Court Justices, reveal to them how You see the "Obstruction" charge that has been brought against so many J6 defendants. We ask for this charge to be thrown out as illegal based on how it is being applied in these cases, in Jesus' name.. We ask for all J6 defendants who have been imprisoned on this charge be released immediately, in Jesus' name. We ask Father, Son and Holy Spirit to bring down all entities within the Biden regime who have been weaponized to illegally come against innocent people in our nation, in Jesus' name. We ask this in the name Jehovah Sabaoth, The Host of Heaven's Armies.
- "The arrogant cannot stand
in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
you, Lord, detest."

Putin shared surprising advice with Iranian counterpart following unprecedented attack on Israel
|
|
Russian President Vladimir Putin urged 'restraint' to avoid further conflict in the Middle East
|
|
Russian President Vladimir Putin joined international calls for cool heads in the Middle East as tensions remain high following Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel over the weekend.
"Vladimir Putin expressed hope that all sides would show reasonable restraint and prevent a new round of confrontation fraught with catastrophic consequences for the entire region," the Kremlin said in a readout of a call with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, according to a translation by The Moscow Times.
"Ebrahim Raisi noted that Iran's actions were forced and limited in nature: At the same time, he stressed Tehran's disinterest in further escalation of tensions," the Kremlin added. "Both sides stated that the root cause of the current events in the Middle East is the unresolved Palestinian-Israeli conflict."
"In this regard, the principled approaches of Russia and Iran in favor of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, easing the difficult humanitarian situation, and creating conditions for a political and diplomatic settlement of the crisis were confirmed," the Kremlin concluded, adding that the call discussed "in detail" the airstrike on Iran’s consulate in Damascus. - Abba, the only one who can bring true peace to the Middle East is You. Men keep thinking they can do it, but they are foolish and don't know Your truth. Father God, we ask for Your hand on all circumstances between Iran, Israel and the US. We ask for Your perfect will to be done in how this plays out. We declare that You are God, The Holy One of Israel, Elohim, Creator God. You spoke all creation into existence, and we ask You to speak Your words into the affairs of men in our world now, we desperately need You to bring Shalom to all nations, tribes and tongues. We ask this in the name Yahweh Rohi, The Lord our Shepherd".
- "Then you will experience God's peace,
which far exceeds anything we can
understand. His peace will guard your
hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

2. Ben Gvir calls for War Cabinet to be disbanded: Victory is getting further away - Israel National News
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on Wednesday evening called for the War Cabinet to be disbanded.
"In Gaza - pictures of thousands bathing on the beach. In the north - Hezbollah saw that the concept cabinet was not responding to the attack of hundreds of missiles from Iran into Israeli territory, so it raised its head and took another step in the aggression against us that today cost us wounded soldiers."
"It's time to dismantle the concept cabinet, stop the policy of containment and proportionality and show our enemies who’s in charge. As long as the current policy of the concept cabinet continues, unfortunately - absolute victory is getting farther and farther away," said Ben Gvir. (Read more)

3. Iranian president: ‘Tiniest invasion’ by Israel will be met with a massive response - Times of Israel
Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, warned on Wednesday that the “tiniest invasion” by Israel would bring a “massive and harsh” response, as the region braces for a potential Israeli retaliation after Iran’s attack over the weekend.
The weekend attack, dubbed “Honest Promise” by Tehran, “brought down the glory of the Zionist regime,” Raisi said at an annual army parade near Tehran on Wednesday, in a speech addressed to the regular army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“This operation showed that our armed forces are ready,” said the president, as his chief naval officer announced he was beefing up security for Iranian commercial ships in the Red Sea as tensions in the vital maritime route persist. (Read more)

5. Qatar says it’s reconsidering hostage talks mediator role after suffering ‘abuse’ - Times of Israel
Qatar is reassessing its role as a mediator between Israel and Hamas after suffering criticism, its prime minister said on Wednesday.
“Qatar is in the process of a complete re-evaluation of its role,” Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani told a Doha news conference.
“There is exploitation and abuse of the Qatari role,” he said, adding that Qatar had been the victim of “point-scoring” by “politicians who are trying to conduct election campaigns by slighting the State of Qatar.” (Read more)

1. NPR Senior Editor Resigns After Being Suspended For Attacking the Network’s Biased Coverage - The Gateway Pundit
NPR’s senior editor Uri Berliner resigned from his position on Wednesday after he was suspended for attacking the network’s biased coverage. National Public Radio (NPR) is a liberal organization that pushes propaganda and doesn’t allow any dissenting opinions.
Berliner, in an explosive interview with journalist Bari Weiss on her podcast ‘Honestly,’ criticized the organization’s editorial standards, saying that they were skewed against President Trump.
In the interview, Berliner expressed his concerns about the network’s journalistic integrity, highlighting the disparate treatment of news stories depending on their political implications:
“Here was a president who, you know, I believed was belligerent and Ill-informed and not a good person by any standard measure of decency. But I think we developed a different standard of coverage for Trump than any other politician. And I think that that led us to serious problems in our coverage. I mean one of them was not so much about Trump but connected to Trump was the Hunter Biden laptop where you know, one of our top news manager when the post published this explosive story said, we’re not gonna cover this." - Father, we appreciate the confirmation of things that we have believed regarding the mainstream media and even the reporting that is supposed to be unbiased, because they are publicly funded. There have been many prayers for exposure and we see it happening in this matter. Bless and protect this journalist as he has taken a stand for truth, in Jesus name. We pray for an accountability and restoration of righteousness to the media, where their great power would be wielded fairly for the good of all people, in Jesus name.

2. Impeachment ‘Whistleblower’ Was in the Loop of Biden-Ukraine Affairs That Trump Wanted Probed - Real Clear Wire
In 2019, then-National Intelligence Council analyst Eric Ciaramella touched off a political firestorm when he anonymously accused Trump of linking military aid for Ukraine to a demand for an investigation into alleged Biden corruption in that country.
But four years earlier, while working as a national security analyst attached to then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office, Ciaramella was a close adviser when Biden threatened to cut off U.S. aid to Ukraine unless it fired its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Ukraine-based Burisma Holdings. At the time, the corruption-riddled energy giant was paying Biden’s son Hunter millions of dollars.
Those payments – along with other evidence tying Joe Biden to his family’s business dealings – received little attention in 2019 as Ciaramella accused Trump of a corrupt quid pro quo. Neither did subsequent evidence indicating that Hunter Biden’s associates had identified Shokin as a “key target.” These matters are now part of the House impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
“It now seems there was material evidence that would have been used at the impeachment trial [to exonerate Trump],” said George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, who has testified as an expert witness in the ongoing Biden impeachment inquiry. “Trump was alleging there was a conflict of interest with the Bidens, and the evidence could have challenged Biden’s account and established his son’s interest in the Shokin firing.” (Read more)

- Holy One, we pray that You would recompense President Trump for such unrighteous accusations that he has experienced since becoming our President. This is again, further exposure of truth and we bless You for opening up the floodgates that reveal the type of dirty deeds that characterize the "deep state". We pray for strategies, people, divine intervention to come forth and cut away the corruption in power within this nation and purify our government, in Jesus name. Let justice be released upon this nation, for Your glory. Amen.

3. Joe Biden Approved Iran's Assault on Israel 'Within Certain Limits' - PJ Media
On Saturday, Iran initiated a barrage of drones and ballistic missiles at Israel. Thankfully, most of them were successfully intercepted and caused minimal damage. Of course, in a stunning move, President Biden is pushing Israel not to retaliate. It's hard to imagine why Biden would do that, except when you consider that Joe Biden has been appeasing Iran since his days as Barack Obama's vice president.
With that in mind, it's also not surprising—though it's still shocking— that Joe Biden not only had prior knowledge of Iran's assault on Israel but also technically gave it the green light under certain conditions, according to a report from the Jerusalem Post.
Iran informed Turkey in advance of its planned operation against Israel, a Turkish diplomatic source told Reuters on Sunday, adding that Washington had conveyed to Tehran via Ankara that any action it took had to be "within certain limits." (Read more)

- Holy One, this is an indefensible position that has been taken by the highest level of this government, which we have heard before regarding potential conflict in this world. We renounce everything that stands against Israel and call for Your hand of covering and protection over them in this time and season, in Jesus name. We thank You Father, that You are just and righteous and Your logical consequences are applied with mercy.

4. Idaho continues fight against Biden’s mandate for ER doctors to participate in abortions - Lifesite News
The state of Idaho continues to resist the Biden administration’s efforts to force emergency room doctors to participate in abortions, filing a legal brief responding to the federal government’s rationale in the case.
In August 2022, the administration filed a lawsuit contending that the federal Emergency Medical Treatment & Active Labor Act (EMTALA) overrides Idaho’s pro-life laws and requires emergency room doctors to commit abortions that would otherwise be illegal under state law. A lower court sided with the White House, prompting the U.S. Supreme Court to take the case and allow Idaho to continue to enforce its pro-life laws until it is resolved.
On Friday, Idaho Republican Attorney General Raúl Labrador, along with attorneys from Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and the law firm Cooper & Kirk, filed their reply brief with the nation’s highest court, laying out the case that the administration misreads and misapplies EMTALA in numerous ways, including that the law does not require procedures that violate state law, does not mandate services a particular hospital does not offer, and in fact requires hospitals to provide care for preborn children.
“Idaho’s Defense of Life Act is perfectly consistent with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act, which provides explicit protections for ‘unborn children’ in four separate places,” Labrador said. (Read more)

|
- Thank You Father, that Idaho is on the front-lines of protecting life and children and is willing to stand up for the fight. We pray for victory in the Supreme Court regarding this EMTALA action and we pray for Godly wisdom for everyone preparing to present this case, in Jesus name. We thank You Abba, that with the victory, the precedent would be set so that there is no further standing to attempt to override state's rights regarding abortion and unborn babies, in Jesus name. We pray for protection over the Supreme Court justices as they hear and respond according to Your plans and purposes.
- "The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children." (Isaiah 40:19)

5. 'A Prophetic Voice': Mark Driscoll Returned to Men's Conference After Rebuking 'Jezebel Spirit' - CBN
Hours after rebuking what he dubbed the “Jezebel Spirit” at a men’s event over the weekend, Pastor Mark Driscoll was invited back to the platform at the Stronger Men’s Conference in Springfield, Missouri.
And in a follow-up appearance between Lindell and Driscoll — who shared the stage after Driscoll was removed from the platform earlier in the day — the “Pray Like Jesus” author apologized to Lindell for his handling of the situation.
He went on to say he and Driscoll spoke privately after the incident and said they “reaffirmed” their friendship. He then called Driscoll “a gift to the Kingdom” and “a gift to James River.”
After thanking Lindell for having “such a great heart for men” and leading what he described as “the greatest men’s event … in the country right now,” Driscoll acknowledged the James River pastor’s “spiritual authority” over the conference, admitting he was wrong in how he addressed his concerns.

- Holy King, we bless You for showing Godly reconciliation to these men and the nation in this matter. The church has been experiencing a lot of shaking these days, and we want to rejoice at seeing repentance and forgiveness coming out of this situation. We do pray for continued humility and purity in the church of Jesus Christ. We praise God for truth-tellers and word-bearers, so that we do not have to be rebuked by You God, but rather, be sharpened and accountable to one another now, so we can stand, in Jesus name.

Stupidocrisy: Stupid Interpretations Of The Eclipse
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, April 17, 2024
The Bible tells us that God put signs in the sky to alert us to the seasons, the days, and the years and to Inform us of The LORD’s appointed times, such as the feasts. Much of what the Bible says about the signs in the sky, including Christ himself, point to the return of the Messiah, the Day of the Lord. Joel 2:30-31, for example, says “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth…The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” This is repeated in Acts 2 by Peter. Revelation is very specific about the signs in the sky. A lack of understanding of these signs can result in the wildest theories, as we saw with the recent eclipse.
It was amazing to observe the crazy interpretations of the eclipse, especially by the political left that demonstrated their lack of knowledge of both God and science. It’s sad that these people can admit that there are signs in the sky placed by God, but not really believe in God, nor even understand the science they say they believe. One fine example is Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) who took the eclipse opportunity to wow Houston high school students with her vast knowledge of science (she previously served on the House Science Committee). She told the students that the moon was a “planet” and “made up of mostly gases,” which would prevent humans from living there. WHAT?

Security Council to vote on full Palestinian UN membership Friday; US expected to veto
|
|
|
Diplomats say the United Nations Security Council is scheduled to vote Friday on a Palestinian request for full UN membership, a move that Israel’s ally the United States is expected to block because it would effectively recognize a Palestinian state.
The 15-member council is due to vote at 3 p.m. Friday on a draft resolution that recommends to the 193-member UN General Assembly that “the State of Palestine be admitted to membership of the United Nations,” said diplomats.
A council resolution needs at least nine votes in favor and no vetoes by the US, Britain, France, Russia or China to pass. Diplomats say the measure could have the support of up to 13 council members, which would force the US to use its veto. (Reuters) Read more here.

Netanyahu: Despite allies’ advice, Israel will ‘make our own decisions’ on security
|
|
|
Following meetings with the British and German foreign ministers, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed at Wednesday’s cabinet meeting that Israel will make its own decisions and do whatever is necessary to protect itself, even if it is contrary to the advice offered by its allies.
British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock both arrived in Israel on Wednesday for a flying visit in the wake of Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel overnight Saturday-Sunday, in which it launched some 350 attack drones and missiles at the country.
Both Germany and the UK have urged Israel to show restraint in the aftermath of the attack, warning that any additional direct hostilities with Iran could send the Middle East spiraling into an all-out war. Israel, however, has vowed to retaliate against Iran, saying that it cannot be allowed to attack without facing repercussions. (Times of Israel) Read more here.

- Lord God Jehovah, we continue to thank You for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu - one who is providing strong leadership for Israel in its time of need. We ask that the nation not be divided in its support of this Prime Minister, and united in their desire to see their enemies defeated. We ask that, in the days ahead, you would strengthen his heart to an even greater degree, so that no weapon forged against his nation or his people will prosper. Amen and amen!

Netanyahu says 9 chilling words as Iran's president vows to completely destroy Israel
|
|
|
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left no doubt in a statement on Wednesday, regarding what his Jewish country might do should current tensions with Iran escalate further.
"Israel will do whatever it needs to defend itself," Netanyahu said in a statement.
The comment came after separate meetings with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Israel on Wednesday, where the ministers discussed actions Israel could pursue to retaliate for Iran’s unprecedented, direct attack on Israel over the weekend.
"They have all sorts of suggestions and advice. I appreciate that. But I want to be clear: Our decisions we will make ourselves," the prime minister added.
During the meeting, Baerbock said escalation "would serve no one, not Israel's security, not the many dozens of hostages still in the hands of Hamas, not the suffering population of Gaza, not the many people in Iran who are themselves suffering under the regime, and not the third countries in the region who simply want to live in peace," Reuters reported.
Netanyahu's comment also comes just hours after Iran’s president has vowed to completely destroy Israel, should it proceed with even the "tiniest invasion" of its country. (Fox News) Read more here.

CLIMATE THE MOVIE
The Cold Truth
|
|
Written and directed by MARTIN DURKIN | Produced by TOM NELSON
|
|
This film exposes the climate alarm as an invented scare without any basis in science. It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are witnessing an increase in extreme weather events – hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires and all the rest. It emphatically counters the claim that current temperatures and levels of atmospheric CO2 are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, it is very clearly the case, as can be seen in all mainstream studies, that, compared to the last half billion years of earth’s history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. It also shows that there is no evidence that changing levels of CO2 (it has changed many times) has ever ‘driven’ climate change in the past.
Why then, are we told, again and again, that ‘catastrophic man-made climate-change’ is an irrefutable fact? Why are we told that there is no evidence that contradicts it? Why are we told that anyone who questions ‘climate chaos’ is a ‘flat-earther’ and a ‘science-denier’?
The film explores the nature of the consensus behind climate change. It describes the origins of the climate funding bandwagon, and the rise of the trillion-dollar climate industry. It describes the hundreds of thousands of jobs that depend on the climate crisis. It explains the enormous pressure on scientists and others not to question the climate alarm: the withdrawal of funds, rejection by science journals, social ostracism. Read More

12,000 Souls Baptized in France Reporting 'a Personal Encounter with Christ'
|
|
More than 12,000 people were baptized in France on Easter Sunday – a record number for the country where about 50% of the people say they do not believe in God. The French Bishops Conference reports that despite the acceleration of "de-Christianization," there has been a rise in requests for baptism in the Catholic Church within the last 10 years. During an Easter service, 7,135 adults were baptized and more than 5,000 teenagers aged 11 to 17 were baptized, according to America Magazine.
The report explains that 31% more people were baptized this year than last year and that the number of adults, 18-25 years old, rose from 23% to 36% in the last year. "In today's French society, 80% of young people have not received any religious education," Father Vincent Breynaert, director of the National Youth and Vocations Service, explained in the report presented on March 27. "They have very few preconceived ideas about the Church. What those asking for baptism have in common is that they had a spiritual experience and a personal encounter with Christ." - Abba, we lift all GLORY to You for the 12,000 souls who were baptized in France which included 5,000 teenagers! May they continue to grow in faith and in intimacy with Christ. May they have life-changing encounters with the Holy Spirit, drawing them to thirst for reading and studying God's Word! In Jesus mighty Name-Amen

Words and Music: Rufus Cornelius
Scripture:When He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2
Lyrics:
As I journey thro’ the land,
Singing as I go,
Pointing souls to Calvary—
To the crimson flow,
Many arrows pierce my soul
From without, within;
But my Lord leads me on,
Thro’ Him I must win.
Refrain
O I want to see Him,
Look upon His face,
There to sing forever
Of His saving grace;
On the streets of glory
Let me lift my voice,
Cares all past, home at last,
Ever to rejoice.
Refrain
When in service for my Lord
Dark may be the night,
But I’ll cling more close to Him,
He will give me light;
Satan’s snares may vex my soul,
Turn my tho’ts aside;
But my Lord goes ahead,
Leads whate’er betide.
Refrain
When in valleys low I look
Tow’rd the mountain height,
And behold my Savior there,
Leading in the fight,
With a tender hand outstretched
Tow’rd the valley low,
Guiding me, I can see,
As I onward go.
Refrain
When before me billows rise
From the mighty deep,
Then my Lord directs my bark;
He doth safely keep,
And He leads me gently on
Thro’ this world below;
He’s a real friend to me,
O I love Him so.
Refrain
