NY Judge Rejects Trump's Request
Trial to Begin Next Week

Former President Donald Trump’s civil trial in New York on fraud charges will begin Monday.

On Thursday, a ruling rejected without comment Trump’s last effort to delay the start of the trial. The Trump Organization, Trump, and his sons Eric and Donald Jr. are being sued for $250 million in a case launched by Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James, according to Axios.

“It is hereby ordered that the motions are denied,” the ruling said.

Earlier this week, Judge Arthur Engoron, who will preside over the trial, ruled in a separate civil suit that Trump’s companies overvalued their assets for years and that Trump and his companies overvalued assets in documents used to secure loans and commit to deals, per the Associated Press.

The New York Post notes that Trump will be appealing the ruling.

Trump has also accused James of conducting a “war of intimidation and harassment” against him, according to Axios. (Western Journal) Read more here.

- Father God, once again we come before Your Throne of Grace on behalf of Donald John Trump, the 45th President of the United States. We ask that all charges be dropped against him, and for a fair trial to unfold in this court. Thank You, O Lord, for hearing our prayer, amen and amen.

- “Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman ... ” (Deuteronomy 1:16)
Dianne Feinstein, pioneering US senator, dies at 90

United States Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the progressive Democrat who was the longest serving senator from California, has died at age 90 following a decades-long political career.

Two unnamed sources told NBC News on Friday that Feinstein had died. Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom will appoint a temporary successor to the now-vacated seat.

Feinstein was present in the Senate on Wednesday and cast a vote at 11:45 a.m. ET, according to the congressional record. However, she missed two votes later in the afternoon.

Feinstein, the longest-serving female senator ever, was first elected to the role in 1992. "Senator Feinstein led a bipartisan group of senators in passing legislation to drastically increase the fuel efficiency of cars. She was a leading voice in the effort to legalize gay marriage and ensure rights for LGBT Americans," a biography on her website reads.

Fox News - Read more here.
- Father God, our prayer tonight is that the passing of Senator Feinstein would serve as a wake up call to all who serve in Congress that,
no matter how much power or influence each one may wield, in the end there is another decision to be made in the face of eternity. Let
each member weigh this moment before You, and make a decision for Christ. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "It is appointed to man to die once; then comes the judgment."   (Hebrews 9:27)
Congress Might Be Repealing the "Face Act" in an Effort to Protect Pro-Life Protestors
Congressman Chip Roy - 21st District of Texas
There is a concerted effort among leftists to silence and intimidate pro-life advocates from peacefully protesting or praying outside of abortion clinics. And, according to U.S. Representative Chip Roy, the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act is one tool the Biden administration is weaponizing. That is why Roy has introduced legislation to repeal the FACE Act—to stop the federal government from superseding the individual states’ police powers given to them in the U.S. Constitution. (Source: MyFaithVotes)
-  Let us pray for divine intervention in Congress as this bill progresses through the legislative process. Pray for the protection of pro-life advocates who currently face legal consequences for peacefully protesting or praying outside abortion clinics. Pray that our nation would embrace and uphold a culture that values and promotes the sanctity of life.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9)

U.S. Federal Government Funded for 45 Days

The Senate voted to pass the House's stopgap funding bill (H.R. 5860) on Saturday night, avoiding a government shutdown that would have occurred at midnight, the end of the fiscal year. The bill will then go to the White House for President Biden's signature.

This bill will keep the government open for 45 days. It also includes $16 billion for U.S. disaster relief aid which was requested by President Biden.

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
