US and Mexico braced for border ‘chaos’ with end of Title 42 migration rule
Biden has warned the border will probably be “chaotic for a while”

Cities along both sides of the US-Mexico border are steeled for a potentially weeks-long surge in migrant crossings, threatening to ignite a politically toxic issue for President Joe Biden.

A rule known as Title 42, a pandemic-era policy that allowed US border agents to quickly send migrants back to Mexico instead of processing their asylum cases, is set to expire just before midnight on Friday. The looming deadline has set off a desperate rush to cross the border; even more people are expected to attempt the fraught journey after it has passed.

Biden has warned the border will probably be “chaotic for a while”, and the US has sent more than 1,500 active-duty military officers to help with the fallout, which could reverberate across the country.

Biden has struggled to contain the surge of migrants since entering office in early 2021, exposing him to regular criticism, mainly from Republicans, but also from Democrats in the most-affected cities and states.

“This catastrophic border crisis is a national security crisis, an economic crisis, and a humanitarian crisis,” Elise Stefanik, the chair of the House Republican conference, told reporters on Wednesday. “Every district is a border district.” (Financial Times) Read more

- Holy King, we call Joe Biden and DHS Secretary Mayorkas under Your Holy authority, and that they would be compelled to do the right thing because of the fear of God.  We decree that they will stop this foolishness, using these people in order to accelerate fear and intimidation in the streets of our nation, in Jesus name.  We call for angel warriors to stand guard at the border and protect the vulnerable while repelling the violent and predators, in Jesus name.

- "'Do you not know this of old, Since man was placed on earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the hypocrite is but for a moment?  Though his haughtiness mounts up to the heavens, And his head reaches to the clouds,"  (Job 20:4-6)

Election Group With Ties to Soros, Zuckerberg Meets in Washington for Conference Closed to Public

WASHINGTON—An elections group with ties to Democrat mega-donor George Soros and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg gathered in Washington on May 8 for a meeting that was closed to the public.

The Epoch Times was denied entry to the event, called a “Summit on American Democracy” and hosted by the Center for Election Integrity & Research (CEIR). Organizers said that the event was invite-only. Only preapproved press and other guests were permitted to attend the summit.

Though the event was live-streamed, the closed nature of the event deprived independent media of access to the laundry list of high-ranking officials attending the summit, including a litany of Secretaries of State, who oversee elections, and other election officials. Among those attending the conference were Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Bill Gates, county supervisor for Maricopa County, Arizona.

The group describes itself as “committed to a fiercely nonpartisan approach.” But partisan allegations against its founder, funding by Zuckerberg, and indirect ties to the left-wing Soros challenge that description.

During the livestream of the event, the group’s founder, David Becker, set the tone for the conference in his opening remarks, repeating contested claims about the security of the 2020 election, and dismissing concerns about election fraud as unfounded. “The 2020 election was, simply put, the most secure, transparent, and verifiable election in American history and it’s not close,” Becker claimed.

At least one journalist who challenged this narrative was allegedly removed from the conference. Laura Loomer, an outspoken ally of President Donald Trump and proponent of theories about widespread election fraud in 2020, reported that she was thrown out of the conference for confronting election officials from Arizona and Georgia. The organizers later called the police on Loomer. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Holy King, we forgive these people for the unjust things they have done against our nation, and we ask You to deal with them regarding the manipulation of our elections.  We know that 2020 was unrighteous and we call for a ripping of the veil of secrecy being used to control and dominate this nation by fostering election disruption, in Jesus name.  We pray Father for Your justice to be released upon the United States like a tidal wave letting the goodness of God wash away the stench and consequence of sin, in Jesus name.

- "'You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.  You shall follow what is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the Lord your God is giving you.'"  (Deuteronomy 16:19-20)

Nides: ‘US stands by Israel’s right to defend itself’
Washington supports the Jewish state and is working to end the fighting between the Israel Defense Forces and Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides said on Thursday.

“Concerned about the continuing rocket launches today. We stand by Israel’s right to defend itself,” Nides tweeted, adding: “Working towards a quick de-escalation.”

Reports surfaced on Wednesday evening that the sides had agreed in principle to an Egyptian-mediated truce, but that did not materialize. U.S. and Qatari officials are also involved in the push to restore calm. (JNS.org)

- Father God, we thank You that Ambassador Nides has made this statemetnt. We pray that this declaration will herald a new shift in American-Israeli relations: that we WILL stand by Israel and bless her at all times. Thank You, Lord, amen and amen.

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
