Protesters burn Israel flags outside DC Embassy where USAF engineer, 25, set himself on FIRE and died - after leftists PRAISED him for 'martyring himself'

Protesters have burned Israel flags outside the DC embassy where a US airman set himself on fire in a fatal pro-Palestine protest.

Aaron Bushnell, 25, succumbed to his injuries after lighting himself on fire as he screamed 'Free Palestine' on Sunday in a demonstration he streamed on Twitch.

A vigil was held outside the embassy where hundreds gathered to protest the Israel-Hamas war and call for a ceasefire on Monday night.

Protesters set Israeli flags ablaze and carried posters that said Bushnell's last words, 'Free Palestine.'

Other signs said 'Israel bombs babies' and that Bushnell was 'killed in protest of Israel's brutality.' Some lit candles and left notes and flowers for the 25-year-old.

Secret Service and DC Metro Police Officers stood outside the embassy that's front lawn is lined with flags and posters of the hostages taken from the October 7 terror attack.

In the aftermath of Bushnell's self-immolation, pro-Palestine activists including presidential candidates Jill Stein and Cornel West have expressed their admiration for the engineer.

Stein wrote on X: 'Rest in power Aaron Bushnell. May his sacrifice deepen our commitment to stop genocide now.'

West added: 'Let us never forget the extraordinary courage and commitment of brother Aaron Bushnell who died for truth and justice!

'I pray for his precious loved ones! Let us rededicate ourselves to genuine solidarity with Palestinians undergoing genocidal attacks in real time!' (Daiiy Mail UK) Read more here.

Father God, even though this incident happened last Sunday in Washington, D.C., neighbors have told us that this demonstration has now continued, nonstop, day and night, all week . . . disturbing the sleep of the residents and causing general chaos in the area of the Embassy of Israel. Furthermore, the Palestinian demonstrators are BLARING a siren on the perimeter of the Embassy, making it extremely difficult for its employees to concentrate on their work.

Father God, THIS HAS TO STOP! Most cities make it illegal to "disturb the peace," but apparently not Washington, D.C. Lord God, this city is unique in that it is the federal government that has jurisdiction over its premises; not the city. So, we now CRY OUT to You, Lord, asking that the federal authorities STEP IN, for the well-being of our citizens, and SILENCE this blaring siren. Father God, we know that it is written that "nothing is too difficult for You," (Jeremiah 32:17) so we now ask this prayer, in Your MIGHTY NAME, amen and amen!

Second prayer: please touch the hearts of the rioters, that they will repent and come to know Your peace. Amen.
Appeals Court Overturns Jan. 6 Defendant’s Sentence, Potentially Impacting Dozens of Cases

An appeals court in Washington unanimously ruled that a Jan. 6 defendant’s sentence was improperly enhanced, a move that could impact numerous other Jan. 6 cases.

On Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled that Larry Brock, who was convicted for a range of crimes related to Jan. 6, improperly had additional charges of “interference with the administration of justice.” The judge who wrote the court’s opinion wrote that the charge doesn’t apply to a sentencing enhancement, however, and struck it down.

“Brock challenges both the district court’s interpretation of Section 1512(c)(2)’s elements and the sufficiency of the evidence to support that conviction,” wrote the judge, Patricia Millett.

The judge, who was appointed by President Barack Obama, concluded that any interference with Congress’ certification of the 2020 electoral votes isn’t tantamount to a sentencing enhancement.

“Because Section 2J1.2’s text, commentary, and context establish that the ‘administration of justice’ does not extend to Congress’s counting and certification of electoral college votes, the district court erred in applying Section 2J1.2(b)(2)’s three-level sentencing enhancement to Brock’s Section 1512(c)(2) conviction,” the judge wrote.

The judges, in siding with Mr. Brock, wrote that Congress’ function on Jan. 6 was not judicial but was only a part of the 2020 presidential election process.

“Taken as a whole, the multi-step process of certifying electoral college votes—as important to our democratic system of government as it is—bears little resemblance to the traditional understanding of the administration of justice as the judicial or quasi-judicial investigation or determination of individual rights,” the panel concluded. (The Epoch Times) Read more here.

- Praise God, O Lord, praise God. We rejoice that this judge. along with his panel, have made this ruling. Prase God!

- "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." (Psalm 150:6)
Please keep praying for Texas!
The wildifres in this state continue to burn out of control, with citizens in many cities and rural areas fleeing for their lives. Cattle, too, are in danger.

- Lord God, we join our hands and our hearts this weekend for the safety of all the residents in the State of Texas. If this conflagration has been caused by arsonists, angry due to the strong stand that the government of Texas has taken to protect its borders, we ask You, merciful God, to forgive them, for they know not what they do. We ask this in Your Name, amen and amen!

- "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
This week's GOOD NEWS report from Gary Bauer; American Values
  • A three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled unanimously that some January 6th defendants were improperly sentenced for a charge that did not apply. Their sentences will now be recalculated and reduced.
  • The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals upheld Indiana’s law protecting children from powerful sterilizing drugs and mutilating surgeries.
  • California judge has upheld a policy requiring teachers to inform parents if their child changes gender at school.
  • Delaware judge struck down the state’s early voting law as it directly contradicts the language of the Delaware constitution. This is a victory for the rule of law and election integrity.
  • Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is suing Planned Parenthood for secretly taking minor girls out of state for abortions without the knowledge of parents or school staff.
  • The Las Vegas school district settled a lawsuit filed by Students for Life. The school district has agreed to protect the free speech rights of pro-life students and will remind administrators of the First Amendment rights of all students.

  • Senate declined to pass Access to Family Building Act (S. 3612) • White House StatementSenate Republican who supports IVF prevents bill protecting procedure from quickly passingHyde-Smith's reasons for objecting:
The bill before us today is a vast overreach that is full of poison pills that go way too far—far beyond ensuring legal access to IVF. The act explicitly waives the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and would subject religious and pro-life organizations to crippling lawsuits. Religious and pro-life organizations could be forced to facilitate procedures that violate their core beliefs, including their health insurance plans. This would be the first time the bipartisan Religious Freedom Restoration Act introduced by then-Representative Chuck Schumer was explicitly waived. The bill's expansion definition of “artificial reproductive technology” sweeps in much more than IVF and has far-reaching implications. It would legalize human cloning. It would legalize commercial surrogacy, including for young girls without parental involvement. It would legalize gene-edited designer babies and lift the Federal ban on the creation of three-parent embryos. It would legalize the creation of human-animal chimeras.

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)

Thought For The Day
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
