Trump at Texas Border:
‘This is a Joe Biden Invasion’
|
|
Former President Donald J. Trump visited the small Texas border town of Eagle Pass on Thursday, offering his assessment of the current border situation. Trump began by describing the horrible murder of Laken Riley, a nursing student at the University of Georgia at Athens. The former President blamed the murder of Riley and other crime victims on what he referred to as the “Joe Biden Invasion.”
Trump’s remarks included details concerning his plan to regain control of the border as he lamented the deliberate destruction of the most secure border in history. The destruction occurred on January 21, 2021, with President Joe Biden canceling the former president’s strict and successful border policies. Trump’s statement described his assessment of the border, saying, “Three years ago, we had the most secure border in history, people weren’t coming because they knew they couldn’t get in, we weren’t promising free education, free medical, free everything.”
Trump went on to tout the progress towards securing the border under his administration, saying, “We ended catch and release, we built 571 miles of border wall, much more than I promised I would build.” Trump added, “We purchased another 200 miles (of wall materials), and they sold that — much of it for five cents on the dollar.” (Breitbart) Read more here. |

US military aircraft airdrop thousands of meals into Gaza in emergency humanitarian aid operation
|
|
U.S. military C-130 cargo planes dropped food in pallets over Gaza on Saturday in the opening stage of an emergency humanitarian assistance authorized by President Joe Biden after more than 100 Palestinians who had surged to pull goods off an aid convoy were killed during a chaotic encounter with Israeli troops.
Three planes from Air Forces Central dropped 66 bundles containing about 38,000 meals into Gaza at 8:30 a.m. EST (3:30 p.m. local). The bundles were dropped in southwest Gaza, on the beach along the territory's Mediterranean coast, one U.S. official said. The airdrop was coordinated with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, which has been airdropping food and took part in Saturday's mission.
“The combined operation included U.S. Air Force and RJAF C-130 aircraft and respective Army Soldiers specialized in aerial delivery of supplies, built bundles and ensured the safe drop of food aid,” U.S. Central Command said in a post on "X", formerly known as Twitter.

Journalist Appears in Federal Court in Leg and Belly Chains to Face Jan. 6 Misdemeanors

Blaze Media journalist Steve Baker was arrested by the FBI and brought to a Texas federal courtroom in handcuffs, a belly chain and foot shackles to face four nonviolent misdemeanor charges for being at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Accompanied by defense attorneys James Lee Bright and Edward Tarpley Jr., Mr. Baker surrendered at the FBI field office in Dallas at 7 a.m. on March 1.
On the lapel of his suit jacket, he wore a pin with an upside-down FBI badge that forms the logo of “the Suspendables,” a group of FBI whistleblowers that includes Kyle Seraphin, Steve Friend, and Garret O'Boyle. He had been advised by the FBI to show up in shorts and sandals, but instead came dressed in a suit. After being walked out of the FBI building in handcuffs, Mr. Baker was taken to the The Earle Cabell Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse to appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Clinton Averitte. He was turned over to U.S. Marshals.
Mr. Baker was charged in a criminal complaint in Washington D.C. with knowingly entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds without authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. “I had to march in, in front of everybody with leg chains on,” Mr. Baker told The Epoch Times after his release. “That was not my favorite moment in life. 1. Israeli military steps up strikes on Hamas in Gaza's Khan Younis - Israel Hayom
The Israeli military said on Sunday it intensified operations in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, destroying dozens of Hamas targets in a blitz of air and artillery strikes.
The air force and artillery hit about 50 targets within six minutes, it said, in a bid to "intensify operational achievements in the area." It added, "During the strikes, the troops destroyed terrorist infrastructure and eliminated Hamas terrorists who were operating from civilian facilities in urban areas."
Residents in the area said they were surprised by the swift advancement of Israeli tanks, which sparked fresh battles with Palestinian gunmen. In one housing project, some families took to social media, saying they were unable to leave their homes with the tanks in the streets. (Read more)

2. Defense Min.: 'We will not end this war without eliminating Hamas' - Israel National News
Defense Minster Yoav Gallant (Likud) on Sunday visited IDF troops on the Gaza order, and heard from the division commander about the ground operation in Khan Yunis and the destruction of terror infrstructure above and below ground.
"As a result of the extended fighting being carried out on the ground, we are even making contact with eliminated enemy forces, even with terrorists who are captured and who tell us a great deal, and also with information - computers, communications rooms, and so on. This information is examined, investigated, and sends us on to the next locations," he said.
"We are dismantling neighborhood after neighborhood, and one thing is clear: Every place where the IDF decides to act, the division, the command, do their work, and at the end the result is clear. There is no one who will help the terrorists. It is only a matter of our decision regarding what we will deal with first and what [we will deal with] second. We will not end this war until we eliminate Hamas. There will not be such a situation. There will not be Hamas as a ruling organization, no matter how long it takes. (Read more)

3. Thousands Join Israeli Hostage Families in March on Jerusalem - Algemeiner
A march by thousands of Israelis demanding the release of hostages held in Gaza reached Jerusalem on Saturday as negotiators prepared to resume ceasefire negotiations in Cairo that would include a swap deal with Hamas.
A column of protesters, led by families of hostages seized by Palestinian terrorists during Hamas’ deadly rampage through southern Israel on Oct. 7, walked up the winding highway to Jerusalem, arriving at the city at sundown.
Holding up Israeli flags, yellow balloons and posters of the hostages, they concluded a four-day march that began at one of sites hit by the October attack, and were expected to be joined by more protesters at a rally outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence. (Read more)

4. Ceasefire negotiations hit roadblock as Hamas refuses to disclose hostage list - World Israel News
Qatar told Israel on Sunday that ceasefire talks will not be able to advance, after Hamas failed to meet Jerusalem’s demand to provide a list of those hostages still alive.
As a result, Israel will not send a delegation to the negotiations in Cairo on Sunday, after it was reported earlier in the day that U.S. and Emirati delegations were joining Hamas representatives in the Egyptian capital.
Israel’s War Cabinet and senior government officials unanimously accepted the decision not to send a delegation.
“Hamas refuses to provide clear answers regarding the list of abductees and the number of prisoners who will be released, and because of this situation, there is no reason to send an Israeli delegation to Cairo,” Israeli government sources said, according to Ynet. (Read more)

5.IDF: Lebanon strike targeted Iranian militia members involved in rocket fire on north - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces said it struck a vehicle near southern Lebanon’s Naqoura on Saturday, targeting operatives belonging to the Imam Hossein Division, an Iranian militia that operates alongside Hezbollah.
According to the IDF, the operatives were involved in recent rocket fire on northern Israel.
Arab media reports, citing Lebanese sources, said three people were killed in the strike on a vehicle on a coastal road.
One of the men was a weapons technician, a security source in Lebanon told the Reuters news agency. (Read more)

1: Germany Appears to Have Inadvertently Revealed the UK and France have Soldiers in Ukraine – Breitbart
German Chancellor Scholz stands accused of handing Russia a propaganda coup in order to smooth over his own political difficulties as he claims the presence of British and French soldiers aiding Ukrainian forces.
Scholz has been accused of abusing intelligence and being a bad ally by angry NATO politicians after his remarks about the level of involvement he claims there is of the British and French in the deployment of the Storm Shadow / SCALP cruise missiles they have given to Ukraine, and which have been deployed with devastating effect.
Ukraine continues to demand Germany hand over its stock of Taurus bunker-buster cruise missiles to help it fight Russia. Indeed, the powerful and long-range weapon which Berlin has proven resistant to supply has been the subject of debate in Germany dragging on now for several months. Chancellor Olaf Scholz insists providing the weapon, which has the endurance to strike deep into Russian areas would represent an irresponsible escalation of the war and make Germany a party to the conflict in a way its previous donations of weapon systems and ammunition had not.
Answering questions on the subject again this week, Chancellor Scholz developed his reasoning for refusing the weapon by stating it was of such complexity there would necessarily have to be German soldiers present in Ukraine to program and set up the weapon before it could be fired. Scholz said this week: “What is being done in the way of target control and accompanying target control on the part of the British and the French can’t be done in Germany. Everyone who has dealt with this system knows that”.

2: Cuellar: Biden Needs to Demand End to Sanctuary Cities- Breitbart
On Wednesday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “The Hill,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) stated that President Joe Biden needs to call for an end to sanctuary cities.
Cuellar said, “I was just hearing you all about the New York mayor saying he wanted to make changes to the sanctuary city [policy]. I can tell you that, along the border, there’s not a single sanctuary city, because we know the burden it is to have people come across the river and the impact that it has.”
Host Blake Burman then asked, “So, the White House, Congressman, is now telling us the following, and here’s a statement from a White House spokesperson: ‘When a local jurisdiction has information about an individual who could pose a threat to public safety, we want them to share that information with ICE.’
…. Congressman, does President Biden need to go further, in your opinion, look at the American people, talk to the American people, and say, sanctuary cities need to end, full stop?”
Cuellar responded, “In my opinion, he ought to go to the border. He needs to say, this is what we’re facing right now, and if there [are] any sanctuary cities, those sanctuary cities should be able to provide any information to ICE. Imagine having a situation where ICE cannot get information. It’s like those people that attacked the policemen, they couldn’t share that information, they ended up somewhere in Arizona until they were busted over there. 3: US government to probe Israeli company that manufactures Iron Dome components – All Israel News
The United States government will open an unprecedented legal probe into Finkelstein Metals, the Israeli company that manufactures components for the Iron Dome aerial defense system.
U.S. authorities argue that the Israeli firm has received U.S. government grants it was not entitled to and that these funds have enabled Finkelstein Metals to sell products in the U.S. market at inflated prices, according to a report from Israel's Maariv daily news on Wednesday.
Israeli officials are reportedly surprised by Washington's decision to investigate Finkelstein Metals and impose sanctions against the long-established manufacturer of components industries worldwide,
Founded in 1940 as a family-owned company, Finkelstein Metals has its headquarters in the northern Israeli town of Afula and additional facilities in the state of Illinois. While Finkelstein’s market share in the U.S. market is less than 3%, it constitutes around 75% of the company’s total sales volume.
U.S. authorities argue that the company’s conduct contradicts the trade agreement between the United States and Israel, which was signed in 1985, the purpose of which is to reduce, and sometimes eliminate, all duties on Israeli products and services exported to the United States. However, Finkelstein Metals exists in a grey zone due to its dual presence in Israel, as well as in the U.S. (Read more)

4: Exclusive — Rep. Andy Biggs: Hunter Biden Has Leverage in that His Father ‘Controls the U.S. Attorney General’ – Breitbart
Hunter Biden has leverage in that his father, President Joe Biden, “controls the U.S. Attorney General,” who is ultimately going “to make the decision whether to prosecute for contempt or not,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said during an appearance Thursday on Breitbart News Daily.
Speaking to Breitbart News Daily one day after Hunter Biden’s closed-door deposition, Biggs explained that he believes Biden’s son “was selling access to his father,” which is bribery.
“I mean, that’s when you — when you look at the federal laws that bribery, you know, a family member that’s receiving benefits in exchange for — that’s, that’s a crime,” he explained, delving into the deposition connected to the House impeachment inquiry.
Biggs described it as “frustrating,” because lawmakers were so limited on time.
“The scope of what we could talk about was somewhat limited because he’s under indictment investigation in a lot of areas. So we couldn’t get into some of that stuff,” he said, explaining that there were only eight minutes left in the entire day by the time Biggs got to question Hunter Biden, who believes the speculation over Biden being involved in Hunter’s business dealings is a “MAGA-motivated conspiracy” despite a trove of evidence pointing to the contrary. 5: How the Government Used ‘Track F’ to Fund Censorship Tools: Report – The Epoch Times
Officials from the National Science Foundation tried to conceal the spending of millions of taxpayer dollars on research and development for artificial intelligence tools used to censor political speech and influence the outcome of elections, according to a new congressional report.
The report looking into the National Science Foundation (NSF) is the latest addition to a growing body of evidence that critics claim shows federal officials—especially at the FBI and the CIA—are creating a “censorship-industrial complex” to monitor American public expression and suppress speech disfavored by the government.
“In the name of combatting alleged misinformation regarding COVID-19 and the 2020 election, NSF has been issuing multimillion-dollar grants to university and nonprofit research teams,” states the report by the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
“The purpose of these taxpayer-funded projects is to develop AI-powered censorship and propaganda tools that can be used by governments and Big Tech to shape public opinion by restricting certain viewpoints or promoting others.”
The report also described, based on previously unknown documents, elaborate efforts by NSF officials to cover up the true purposes of the research. (Read more)

6: ‘Blood Money’: Meet Adam Schiff, Who Looks Away from the Deadly Fentanyl Crisis in His Backyard While Taking Donations from Money Laundering Operators Tied to the Drug Trade - Breitbart
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who has been strikingly absent from the national fentanyl conversation, has “financial connections to individuals involved with criminal networks in Southern California, many of whom are tied to money laundering and the drug trade,” according to Peter Schweizer’s new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.
In Blood Money, Schweizer highlights Schiff’s astonishingly empty record regarding the fentanyl crisis before suggesting that the congressman could potentially risk “undue attention to his own financial” ties if he were to address the issue meaningfully.
Schiff, who is running for U.S. Senate, represents California’s 30th Congressional District, which includes Burbank, Hollywood, Glendale, and Pasadena. Schweizer notes that the fentanyl crisis is rampant in upscale Burbank where at least seven high school students had overdosed on the deadly synthetic opioid in 2022 alone. Now, schools in the Burbank Unified School District are required to carry naloxone in the event of overdoses. The effects in the city have been far-reaching.
“In 2022, two men were arrested in Burbank with a hundred thousand counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl,” Schweizer notes. “Nineteen-year-old TikTok influencer Cooper Noriega was found dead in a Burbank park with fentanyl in his system.”
Moreover, the Los Angeles area saw fentanyl deaths skyrocket “by a stunning 1,208 percent from 2016 to 2022,” Schweizer reports.

7: Here’s How One Anti-Israel Protest Group Plans To Throw Wrench In Biden’s Reelection Campaign – Daily Caller
A national organization that staunchly opposes President Joe Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war is hoping to prevent him from securing a second term in November by mobilizing voters across various battleground states.
The Abandon Biden campaign encouraged Arab and Muslim Americans, as well as those who disagree with the president’s support of Israel in what it views to be genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza, to vote against him in the Michigan primary on Tuesday. After over 144,000 individuals opposed Biden in the Democratic contest, Abandon Biden is focusing on ramping up efforts in other presidential battleground states ahead of the general election, a founding member of the national campaign told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“We’re going to be focusing particularly on Georgia, because Georgia is going to be the other state that if we combine it with Michigan, it becomes almost numerically impossible for Joe Biden to win a second term, and we want to make sure that we punish him for his complicity in the war crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza, and we want to make sure that he is going to be a one term president,” Khalid Turaani, who also serves on the group’s national leadership committee, told the DCNF. “But we’re not going to take chances, so we’re going to be working on Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina.”
Abandon Biden is also focusing on states that are not typically thought of as presidential battlegrounds, including Minnesota and Virginia, to “make it that much more difficult” for the incumbent’s reelection, according to Turaani.
The campaign is encouraging these voters, who typically support Democrats by large margins, to vote against Biden, but isn’t endorsing any specific candidate. (Read more)

8: Manchin appears to square up against climate protester after being called a 'sick f---' Fox News
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W. Va., appeared to square up against a climate protester after being confronted during an appearance at the Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Friday.
A video posted on X, formerly Twitter, by climate change group Climate Defiance, shows an activist approaching Manchin during the round-table discussion.
"Joe Manchin, you sold our futures and got rich doing it," the protester told the senator. "You sick f---. How dare you?"
Manchin immediately stood up and began to make his way toward the activist before a man stepped between the two.
"You sold our futures," the activist proceeded before being shoved to the ground.
The edited video cuts to Manchin speaking with the activists, saying, "Y'all want to sit down somewhere and talk?" (Read more)

9: Feds hide communications with Soros-funded groups on Title IX and gender identity proposals – Just The News
Parents aren't just fighting to uncover the influence of gender ideology activists in their children's public schools, but their influence with federal policymakers who stand to upend 50 years of policy on sex discrimination in schools by redefining it to include gender identity.
The Biden administration has neither turned over its communications with activists related to the development of its proposed Title IX regulations in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, nor given any meaningful update in more than a year and a half, a new FOIA lawsuit alleges.
Parents Defending Education said it asked the Department of Education in July 2022 for all correspondence matching certain keywords with the New Venture Fund, Governing for Impact and the National Student Legal Defense Network for the first 18 months of the administration.
The keywords were Title IX and its common regulatory abbreviation “TIX,” as well as LGBT, transgender, gender identity, gender-affirming and gender support plan.
The latter two refer to policies that treat students according to their stated gender identity, including preferred names and pronouns and access to opposite-sex bathrooms, locker rooms and sports, and related instructions for school staff on how to treat each student, including when to keep gender identity from their parents. The Miami Herald revealed this week that Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) traveled to communist Cuba at an unspecified time in February – a visit the Cuban government has yet to discuss and the lawmakers did not publicize.
The Congresswomen reportedly met with Castro regime officials as part of a secret delegation representing the “Congressional Progressive Caucus,” the Herald observed. In addition to the two lawmakers, a representative from the office of Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) also reportedly attended.
Following the publication of its report on Tuesday, the caucus issued a statement confirming the visit: “Representatives Jayapal and Omar traveled to Cuba last week, where they met with people from across Cuban civil society and government officials to discuss human rights and the U.S.-Cuba bilateral relationship,” a spokesperson told the newspaper.
The details of the trip remain a mystery at press time. Outside of the statement from the Progressive Caucus, the members of Congress involved have not commented on the matter. The Cuban Communist Party has not at press time addressed the reports of their visit, nor has its official state newspaper, Granma. Granma typically publishes effusive propaganda pieces praising any American politicians who lend support to the regime by visiting and treating its criminal leaders with respect, such as Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR).
The Cuban External Relations Ministry (MINREX) last confirmed a visit by American officials on Wednesday, informing that American diplomat Kerri Hannan held meetings in Havana with regime henchmen. (Breitbart) Read more here.

Trump defeats Haley in Missouri's Republican caucuses

Donald Trump will win the Missouri Republican caucuses, the Associated Press projects, delivering yet another victory for the former president against former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.
The Associated Press called the race for Trump early Saturday afternoon. The former president was expected to cruise to victory after big wins in every contest prior to Saturday.
After her loss in her home state of South Carolina, Haley vowed to remain in the race at least through Super Tuesday on March 5, where voters in 15 states will head to the polls to make their choice for president.
Even though Trump is the clear winner of the state, Missouri awards 51 of its 54 delegates through a months-long process called a "caucus-convention system" that only begins with Saturday's caucusing.
The system dictates that 11 delegates will be awarded to candidates at the state level and five will be awarded from each of Missouri's eight congressional districts. The three remaining delegates are the chairman of the Missouri Republican Party, and its national committeeman and committeewoman, who can support any candidate they wish, regardless of the caucus results. SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Feet of snow, 190 mph wind gusts, drivers stuck behind closed freeways, national parks and ski resorts shuttered, and even a tornado have already pummeled California during a days-long blizzard underway in the Sierra Nevada.

TRUCKEE, Calif. (AP) — A powerful blizzard that a meteorologist termed “as bad as it gets” howled in the Sierra Nevada mountains, closing a long stretch of Interstate 80 in Northern California, forcing ski resorts to shut down, and leaving thousands of homes without power.
More than 10 feet (3 meters) of snow was expected at higher elevations, National Weather Service meteorologist William Churchill said Saturday, creating a “life-threatening concern” for residents near Lake Tahoe and blocking travel on the key east-west freeway.
