89 Ohio Clergy Affirm Role of Police Calling for a Day of Prayer & Appreciation

Yesterday, clergy representing eighty-nine local congregations held a press conference at City Hall reading from a joint prayer proclamation and calling for a day of prayer and appreciation for its police. Due to the negativity towards local police departments, the clergy report their local police are seeing a decline in staffing due to retirements and resignations.

During the press conference, Pastor spokesman Hank Webb declared, "As leading clergymen from (89) eighty-nine congregations across Richland County, Ohio, we regret the negativity and malice toward those police officers who bravely serve and protect our families. We formally call citizens, especially Christians, to join millions across the nation to recognize the "Day of Prayer and Appreciation for Local Law Enforcement" on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 by standing in solidarity through prayer, doing acts of charity toward those wearing the badge, publicly advocating on behalf of our local law enforcement, and promoting a career in this noble profession."

In addition to the day of prayer, fourteen of the congregations raised $5,000 in funds to support the County Sheriff's Department and police departments in Mansfield, Ontario, Lexington, Bellville and Butler. "We are donating these funds for our officers and their equipment needs. It is the least we can do. Our hope is that this small gesture can help improve staff morale and provoke other stakeholders to do the same," says Webb.

Sheriff Steve Sheldon commented, "We are thankful for what the clergy do. Both Mansfield City and Richland County have "In GOD we trust" emblems on their police cruisers. While we have problems in our community, we know that GOD is still bigger than any problem we have." (Breaking Christian News) Read more.

- Lord God, we thank You for the example being set tomorrow by these 89 pastors in the State of Ohio. We ask that Your Spirit would move upon the hearts of pastors in all other 50 states to also bless their police, as well. Thank You, Lord!  Amen.

"He who began a good work in you will continue it until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)

An Open Letter to the Supreme Court

Published by Intercessors for America

> > > A note from IFA:
We are publishing this letter that an IFA intercessor sent this week to the Supreme Court. Sensing the prompting of the Holy Spirit, she wrote her story, hoping and praying that it will impact these nine men and women who have such an impact on our lives. We believe you will be blessed by reading it.

Excerpts:

. . . The dismay I felt on November 4th was greatly compounded when in subsequent months the Supreme Court refused to listen to arguments regarding various election fraud cases, which were presented by several states on behalf of many millions of Americans.

With all due respect I ask the justices these questions: Is the Constitution dead in America?

Do you realize how damaging the consequences of your refusal to listen to these cases are?

Why would the Supreme Court not do what was simply right and reasonable to do in this type of case? As I have considered the facts surrounding this situation a few possible scenarios have surfaced as possibilities in my mind:

Could it be Apathy? that the justices do not really care to protect the Constitution; that it is not important to them? Incompetence? That they do not really understand the constitution? Or perhaps Fear? Could it be that the justices are afraid? Afraid of facts? Of finding out the truth? Of the mob perhaps? that mob which for months has been rampant in the nation committing crime and violence and leaving destruction in their path? or afraid of someone, or of something else?

An even yet worse possibility has arisen: could it be that the High Court be complicit with the corruption? I wonder! This possible scenario hurts me too much to contemplate for long, although I do not think it totally out of the realm of possibilities. Given the posture of some of the justices in the Court it seems to me that they are more preoccupied with advancing a certain political agenda and making laws according to that agenda, rather than with interpreting the Constitution.

Well, I wonder which one of those scenarios might be the answer to my question! Dereliction of Duty? Incompetence? Cowardice? Complicity? How I would welcome the opportunity to ask the Justices this question in person, but I suppose a letter is the best next thing I can aspire to. As I understand it, every one of the justices, while being sworn in, swears under oath to protect the constitution; I even remember some time not too long ago hearing one of the justices proclaim:

“I love the Constitution”. Why are the justices not protecting the Constitution they swore to uphold?

Respectfully,

Zoraida Noratto-White

> > > Important!  Please read all of Zoraida's letter by going here.

> > > Prayer offered by IFA:
We pray for justices to be courageous to mend their ways by doing what is good and right: to rule justly, to protect the innocent and punish the wicked, and to walk humbly before the God who called them to this purpose for such a time as this in the history of the world.

(From CHPP):

"But the Lord shall endure forever;
He has prepared His throne for judgment.
He shall judge the world in righteousness,
And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness."
(Psalm 9:7,8)

"I will correct you in justice,
And will not let you go altogether unpunished.’"

(Jeremiah 30:11)

Election Assessment in Pennsylvania County Uncovers Five ‘Issues of Note’

An election assessment conducted in a Pennsylvania county months ago and quietly released to the public in recent weeks uncovered five errors, including three linked to Dominion Voting Systems, whose election management system is used in the county, the assessing firm said.

Wake Technology Services Inc. (Wake TSI), a Pennsylvania-based firm, conducted the assessment in Fulton County. Workers visited the county’s offices late last year and about a month later, on Feb. 9.

The assessment was meant to review the mail-in ballots in the county and explore whether conduct relating to absentee ballot requests, distribution, receipt, and counting were in line with federal and commonwealth guidelines, Wake TSI said in the 93-page report that was quietly published on the county’s website, with no public fanfare, in May.

. . . Wake TSI said it found five “issues of note,” including that Dominion failed to meet the commonwealth’s certification standards; that the election management system had Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools installed, despite the software not being part of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s certified configuration; and that changes were made to the management system just three weeks prior to the election. (Read more)

- Father God, we praise You that, in this hour, we are witnessing a GREAT SHIFT so that all that has been hidden is now being exposed and all that has been lost is being retrieved. We praise You, O Lord, for the TRUTH that sets us free! In Your Name, Holy One, we offer this prayer, amen and amen.

- "The Lord is King forever and ever; The nations have perished out of His land. Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more." (Psalm 10:16-18)

Pro-Life Committee Update

This week, several committees in the House of Representatives scheduled hearings related to the proposed Budget of the United States Government, Fiscal Year 2022. Both Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Health & Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra have testified before the relevant committees in support of the President’s Budget.

June 7, 2021: House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing: “The State Department's Foreign Policy Strategy and FY2022 Budget Request.”

  • Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) emphasized the importance of the Helms Amendment, an annual pro-life appropriations rider which prevents taxpayer funds from funding abortion overseas.

  • Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) asked Secretary of State Antony Blinken to explain the Biden Administration’s decision to include $56 million for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in its FY22 Budget Request. Rep. Wagner noted that UNFPA has been found to support China’s population control program, which relies on forced abortion and sterilization.

June 8, 2021: House Ways and Means Committee Hearing: “The President's Proposed FY2022 Budget with the Department of Health and Human Services.”

  • Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) questioned HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra on the lack of accurate and comprehensive reporting on the adverse effects experienced by women who take the chemical abortion drug mifepristone.

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
 (2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
