Arizona Audit: Hand Recount Expected to End this Week
|
|
Auditors in Arizona expect to soon finish their hand recount of the nearly 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County in the 2020 presidential election.
“I think the counting will be done by the end of this week,” former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, a Republican, told reporters on June 8 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, where the audit is taking place.
The audit teams are shifting resources to ballot evaluation work, including things “related to whether the ballot was authentic,” Bennett added to The Epoch Times.
“So there’s pictures of the ballots, we should find folds in the ones that were mailed in, which is the vast majority, I think 92 percent of them work by mail, so folds in the ballots for those that were sent by mail, there’s going to be a few at early voting locations that might be folded differently or not have holes in them. One of the microscopic cameras is looking for alignment marks and other things that are supposed to be aligned as far as the front and back of the ballot on an authentic ballot. Looking at the depression made in the oval when a handwritten writing instrument is used to fill out that oval as opposed to an inkjet or a Xerox machine making those marks, which obviously don’t want that happening,” he said. 1. Benny Gantz: 'I don't need anyone's approval to evacuate town of Evyatar' - Israel National News
Defense Minister Benny Gantz (Blue and White) has told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he does not require anyone's permission to evacuate the town of Evyatar in Samaria.
"There is no instruction whatsoever in the law that declares that issuing an order sealing off an area in Judea and Samaria requires the approval of the Prime Minister," a Defense Ministry statement said.
"Without getting into the complex questions of defining the status of the land in this area, the very founding of the settlement is an illegal action and its scope and characteristics are unusual. The unusual circumstances of this case are what brought us to decide to issue an order closing it off, and that is after we held discussions with all of the relevant security and legal bodies." 2. Netanyahu, Gantz clash over evacuation of illegal outpost- World Israel News
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz clashed over IDF plans to evacuate the illegal outpost of Evyatar.
Located near the Tapuach Junction in northern Samaria, the unauthorized outpost was first launched in 2013 following the murder of Evyatar Borovsky. The outpost was named after Borovsky, a father of five. Since then, it has been demolished by the IDF only to be rebuilt by Jewish settlers.
Gantz has sought to demolish more structures that were put up in the past month after a Palestinian terrorist shot and killed Yehuda Guetta at the Tapuach Junction last month. (Read more)

3. 14 Palestinians arrested at Damascus Gate during visit of far-right MK - Jerusalem Post
Fourteen Palestinian protesters were arrested on Thursday afternoon amid tensions at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate during a visit by far-right MK Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The ultranationalist leader of the Otzma Yehudit Party visited the site in protest at being banned by the police from marching through the Muslim Quarter of the Old City and visiting the Temple Mount on Wednesday and Thursday.
The ban was issued due to concerns his presence would lead to violence from Arab residents, as well as cause unrest among the Arab population more broadly.
Under heavy police protection, Ben-Gvir spoke to the media and took out and waved an Israeli flag during his visit.
Police used at least five stun grenades to disperse several dozen Palestinian protesters who objected vocally to Ben-Gvir’s visit. (Read more)

4. Arson Suspected in Massive Forest Fires Around Jerusalem, Samaria - Algemeiner
JNS.org – Israeli fire authorities suspect that arson is behind the massive forest fires that erupted near Jerusalem and in Samaria on Wednesday.
“The motive could be nationalistic,” Jerusalem Fire and Rescue Services District Commander Nissim Twito told Channel 13, pointing to previous fires and the many cases of Molotov cocktails having been thrown in the area.
National Fire and Rescue Authority Commissioner Dedi Simchi told the news outlet that the fires were likely ignited, as there had been no lightning showers that day, and that the hot and dry June weather, combined with strong winds, contributed to their spread.
More than 70 firefighting squads and 12 firefighting aircraft took part in the effort to contain the fires throughout Wednesday night and Thursday morning. (Read more)

5. 7,000-year-old seal impression marks prehistoric site as early trade - Times of Israel
The ancient Beit She’an Valley village of Tel Tsaf may have been a prehistoric commercial mecca, according to a recent article published in the journal Levant.
Alongside mounting evidence of organized large-scale agricultural production, a tiny 7,000-year-old blob of clay with geometric patterns — the earliest impressed sealing discovered in the region — is giving academics new insight into what may have been one of the earliest trade hubs and administration centers in the southern Levant.
According to Hebrew University Prof. Yosef Garfinkel, the sealing was used on a grain silo door or a commodities sack or vessel much in the manner of a hair placed on a doorjamb — to catch trespassers. (Read more)

1. COVID Hospitalizations and Deaths for the Vaccinated More than Triple in One Month, CDC Reports – Lifesite News
A total of 10,262 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine 'breakthrough infections' – defined as coronavirus infections in fully vaccinated people – were reported to the CDC from 46 U.S. states and territories between January 1 and April 30, 2021. Deaths and hospitalizations for COVID-19 infection have tripled among the fully vaccinated in the U.S. in the past month. Deaths from COVID in those who have been fully vaccinated against the disease increased from 160 as of April 30 to 535 as of June 1, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
A total of 10,262 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine “breakthrough infections” – defined as coronavirus infections in fully vaccinated people – were reported to the CDC from 46 U.S. states and territories between January 1 and April 30, 2021, according to a report released by the CDC May 28. About 10% (995) of the patients who became ill after vaccination before April 30 were hospitalized and the agency said it had received reports of 160 fully vaccinated patients dying from the infection.
Just days later the CDC website reported that 3,016 patients fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine had developed a “breakthrough infection” and had been hospitalized or died. “Breakthrough” deaths climbed to 535 as of June 1 compared to 160 reported deaths a month earlier. (Read more)

2. Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin Boosted Survival of Ventilated COVID-19 Patients by 200%: New Study Confirms – Zerohedge
A new study has found that the use of weight-adjusted hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and azithromycin (AZM) improved the survival of ventilated COVID-19 patients by nearly 200 percent. The observational study, which hasn’t yet been peer-reviewed, was based on a re-analysis of 255 patients on invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) during the first two months of the pandemic in the United States.
The researchers found that when the HCQ–AZM combination was given at lower dosages to treat ventilated COVID-19 patients, the risk of death was more than three times higher. “We found that when the cumulative doses of two drugs, HCQ and AZM, were above a certain level, patients had a survival rate 2.9 times the other patients,” the authors of the study noted.
While the authors acknowledged that patients with higher doses of HCQ had higher doses of AZM, they “cannot solely attribute the causal effect to HCQ/AZM combination therapy.” “However, it is likely AZM does contribute significantly to this increase in survival rate. Since higher dose HCQ/AZM therapy improves survival by nearly 200 [percent] in this population, the safety data are moot,” they added. (Read more)

3. Exclusive: Chiropractor Targeted by FTC for selling Vitamin D, Zinc to Fight the Coronavirus Speaks Out – Lifesite News
Amidst an atmosphere of sweeping censorship by Big Media and Big Tech, along with a smattering of government intimidation, a highly accomplished chiropractor has pledged to defend himself in a lawsuit levied by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) which claims he and his company, Quickwork LLC, have participated in deceptive marketing practices regarding the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
“I'm not just standing up for myself, I'm standing up for my patients, I'm standing up for other doctors who have been oppressed and suppressed,” Dr. Eric Nepute told LifeSiteNews in an exclusive interview. “I just cannot let my children [and grandchildren] … grow up in a world where medical tyranny rules.”
The lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on behalf of the FTC charges Nepute with violating the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) which was passed last December and renders it illegal “to engage in deceptive marketing related to the treatment, cure, prevention, mitigation, or diagnosis of COVID–19,” according to an FTC statement.
The FTC claims Nepute and his company deceptively marketed “products containing vitamin D and zinc as scientifically proven to treat or prevent COVID-19,” and as being “as, or more, effective than vaccines that are currently available.” (Read more)

4. Senator Lindsey Graham: Trump Would Have Won 2020 Election If Wuhan Lab Leak Theory was Proven – The Epoch Times
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said former President Donald Trump would have won the 2020 election if investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and whether it escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan, China, were not politicized.
“If COVID-19 had come about due to a Chinese lab leak, the top question on voters’ minds in the 2020 election would have become who was going to stand up to China. Which candidate would hold the Chinese accountable for unleashing the COVID-19 plague on the world?” wrote Graham for Fox News on Thursday. 5. Core Consumer Prices Surge at Fastest Rate Since 1992 – Zerohedge

If you ask Pampers maker Procter & Gamble Co., it’s not raising prices, it’s “taking pricing.” Rival Unilever, known for Dove soap and Axe body spray, says it’s been “very active with pricing.” The prize for creativity—so far at least—has been home-improvement retailer Lowe’s Cos., whose finance chief told investors Wednesday that it was “elevating our pricing ecosystem.”The euphemisms illustrate the rhetorical backflips companies perform to avoid saying what they’re actually doing—responding to soaring input and transportation costs, and protecting their profit margins, by making their products more expensive. The makers and sellers of consumer staples notched big stock gains last year thanks to pandemic stockpiling and are now under pressure to maintain that performance even as costs go up, labor markets tighten and they face extremely tough comparisons with last year’s growth.
The price tags consumers see on shelves or online are the result of a complex series of negotiations between vendors and retailers, done behind closed doors, with neither side wanting to sacrifice too much. Retailers sometimes absorb some of the price increases manufacturers demand, and the rest is passed onto shoppers. 7. Ranchers Sell off Cattle and Farmers Idle Hundreds of Thousands of Acres As America’s Drought Emergency Escalates – The Economic Collapse Blog
In my entire lifetime, this is the worst that drought conditions have ever been in the western half of the country. During the past 20 years, the amount of territory in the West considered to be suffering from exceptional drought has never gone higher than 11 percent until now. Today, that number is sitting at 27 percent. The term “mega-drought” is being thrown around a lot these days to describe what is happening, but this isn’t just a drought. This is a true national emergency, and it is really starting to affect our food supply.
Just look at what is happening up in North Dakota. The vast majority of the state is either in the worst level of drought or the second worst level of drought, and ranchers are auctioning off their cattle by the thousands…
One of those that has already been forced to sell a large number of cattle is rancher David Bohl…As the drought continues, the price of hay and corn has gone way up. It’s more expensive for ranchers to try and supplement feed than it is to sell the cattle. Bohl has already sold 200 of his head in the last month. “Everybody is in the same situation, they’re going to have to sell probably 25 to 50% of them because there’s nowhere to go with them we just got no food to feed them,” Bohl said.
As cattle herds shrink all over the western half of the country, this is going to push beef prices significantly higher than they are right now. And in many areas, they are already at ridiculous levels. (Read more)

8. Illegal Border Crossings Keep Climbing – Zerohedge
Customs and Border Protection apprehended 180,034 individuals illegally entering the United States in May, the highest month in 21 years. The agency said the majority, more than 112,000, were expelled under the Title 42 emergency health provision.
Former President Donald Trump implemented Title 42 in March 2020, which effectively closed the border to nonessential travel in attempts to mitigate the spread of OVID-19. It allowed for Border Patrol to turn back illegal border crossers almost immediately, rather than for them to be placed in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody for a more protracted process through deportation proceedings under Title 8.
The Biden administration has already exempted unaccompanied children and many family units from Title 42; whereas single adults from Spanish-speaking nations are almost all still subject to immediate expulsion, according to Troy Miller, acting commissioner for Customs and Border Protection (CBP). But Border Patrol is also encountering more illegal aliens from non-Spanish speaking nations, in particular Brazil and Haiti, which Miller suggested weren’t expelled. (Read more) |

9. Omar Feuds with Jewish Democrats – The Hill
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is feuding with Jewish House Democrats about Israel — again.
A dozen Jewish Democrats who support Israel are publicly pushing back on Omar, a Somali refugee and one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, for appearing to compare the U.S. and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban while discussing war crimes.
“Equating the United States and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban is as offensive as it is misguided. Ignoring the differences between democracies governed by the rule of law and contemptible organizations that engage in terrorism at best discredits one’s intended argument and at worst reflects deep-seated prejudice,” the 12 Democrats, led by Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.), a staunch Israel ally, said in a joint statement. The group also called on Omar to “clarify her comments."

10. Biden’s Press Plan Was About to Head to Europe. Then Brood X Cicadas Invaded the Engines – MSN.com
On Tuesday night, the busy bugs claimed another surprising accomplishment: grounding the White House press corps as it headed to Europe for President Biden’s first overseas trip in office.
“The White House press charter, flying from Dulles to Europe ahead of President Biden, has been delayed for hours — due to mechanical issues caused by cicadas,” Jonathan Lemire, a reporter for the Associated Press, said in a tweet late Tuesday. “Yes. Cicadas.”
Reporters gathered at a Marriott hotel near Dulles International Airport were told by a White House aide that the insects had flown into the engine, causing mechanical problems that required the airline to obtain a new plane and a new captain for the flight. We pray that this strange flight delay, due to a plague of cicadas, would become a catalyst to the opening of eyes and hearts towards You. COVID Science Exposed As Politics

There is tremendous debate surrounding the origin of the COVID virus. The scientists say to stick with the science, but the science all points to a lab in China rather than a wet market that sells bat meat. Recently obtained emails by Judicial Watch also point to COVID guru Dr. Anthony Fauci using US taxpayer money to fund the Chinese lab’s work on the virus AND a trove of emails indicating scientists in a frenzy trying to cover their tracks about how the virus got loose. In one of his many interviews on MSNBC, Fauci said, “If you are trying to get at me as a public health official and a scientist, you’re really attacking, not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you are attacking science.” He said the rest of it is a “not-happy type of distraction.”
Here’s what we know: A deadly virus originating in China infected 174.5 million people worldwide, killing an estimated 3.75 million, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at John Hopkins University. America led in both infections with 33.4 million and deaths with 598,766. China, on the other hand, reported 103,762 infections and 4,846 deaths. So somebody’s lying about something and it’s more than a distraction. The email trove obtained under Freedom of Information by Judicial Watch showed that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, headed by Fauci, funded the Chinese Wuhan lab with some $826,277 for bat coronavirus research over five years. There are many questions about whether this money was used by China for “gain of function”—a nice way of saying “weaponization.” Read More

In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland dated June 7, 2021, U.S. Senators Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Rick Scott (R-Fla.), and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) addressed the clear disparity in treatment of Capitol protesters versus Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters.
They write in part that the “potential unequal administration of justice with respect to certain protestors is particularly concerning.” There have been reports of “Stop the Steal” Rally protestors being held in solitary confinement 23 hours a day.
The Senators ask about the number of people “incarcerated for allegedly committing crimes associated with the Capitol breach,” and of those, how many “are or were placed in solitary confinement”. According to Insider, 513 people have been charged.
The Senators also want to know how many FBI personnel and DOJ prosecutors have been assigned to work on the events at the Capitol, versus the riots from last summer, that led to at least 25 deaths and caused $2 billion in damage.

We ask for Your special grace and presence to comfort those who have been placed in solitary confinement. Please minister to these folks, Abba. This is unacceptable treatment by America to Americans and we call for full measure and overflowing justice to be given to every one of these people and full restoration. Both the 5th and 6th Amendment address the inequities of the treatment against these citizens. Jesus, stir up the consciences of the ones committing these injustices and cause them to repent.

Earth now has a 5th ocean, according to National Geographic, which upgraded the status of the waters around Antarctica

National Geographic said on Tuesday it will be adding a fifth ocean to its maps.
The Southern Ocean is the second-smallest ocean and surrounds the Antarctic.
The move was long-awaited, as scientists have been using the term for years.

This body of water lies around the Antarctic, stretching from the coastline to the 60 degrees latitude mark.
All oceans are connected, so in a way, there is only one ocean. But the planet's waters have been traditionally split into four regions: the Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic, and Indian oceans.

Illinois School Reverses Decision to Ban 2nd Grade Girl From Bringing Her Bible to School

A win for religious liberty was reported last week after school officials reversed their decision to ban a student from bringing her Bible to school.
The parents of Gabrielle, a second-grader in Illinois, contacted the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) after their daughter's Bible was taken away during recess. The young girl likes to read her Bible aloud sometimes while other kids listen.
A teacher recently told Gabrielle, "You just can't be doing that," then contacted her parents and advised them that she was forbidden to bring the Bible back.
The parents rebuked the school's restriction and contacted ACLJ.
School officials said it would only allow Gabrielle to read her Bible outside during recess, but not inside. The constraint was still unacceptable to the parents and ACLJ. (CBN) Read more
