United We Stand                                 July 13, 2024
As the RNC delegates are gathering in Milwaukee this weekend to launch their convention on Monday, we continue to maintain our own vigil in prayer and in fasting.

We are praying their platform will align with the will of God in all matters, especially concerning pro-life issues and the need to stand by Israel and against any anti-Semitism.

“that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” (Deut. 30:20)

Plan now to join us this Monday, July 15th, to hear our Guest Speaker, Sheri Carbone! Sheri is the founder of Grace Ministries in the State of Washington, and has been a faithful prayer warrior for many, many years, hidden in the closet of prayer.

You can learn more about Sheri's ministry
by going here . . .

Her topic for this Monday will be: "If we force the  church to bow down,           we will reap the world!"

Foreign Policy — Committees: Senate, House

McConnell: When America leads by example, allies invest right here in America. A full two-thirds of our allies' spending on new defense procurement is going to buy American-made weapons and systems. Right now, U.S. industry is filling more than $140 billion in contracts booked by European allies.

Schumer moves to deny Trump immunity for election challenge after SCOTUS ruling (Floor Speech) • The legislation is not promised to control the Supreme Court's jurisdiction over presidential immunity for official presidential acts (per Article 3, Section 2), but rather to classify President Trump's election actions as unofficial acts which the Court declared are not subject to immunity.

Corruption — Praising Evil, Punishing Good (Isaiah 5:20)

McConnell: Just last month, one Congressional staffer earning more than $80,000 thanked President Biden publicly on social media for forgiving his $8,000 student loan.

Commerce Policy — Committees: Senate, House

McConnell: The overwhelming majority of U.S. exports go to consumers in Europe and Asia, but as the Biden administration tries to choke off American market dominance, Russian export capacity is actually surging to meet demand. Russia is lining its war chest with the spoils of its energy exports, and it is quite literally fueling the war in Ukraine with the proceeds of what the President's own Energy Secretary has described as the dirtiest form of natural gas on Earth. It is a dizzying move from an administration that has, until now, put green activists in the driver's seat of its energy policy.

Congress — Committees: House, Senate

McConnell: There is a particular irony in our colleague's decision to put off urgent work like the annual Defense authorization in favor of giving lifetime tenure to a judge with a staggering backlog of her own.
