Netanyahu talks expanding Abraham Accords with US Senate delegation

(January 18, 2023 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Wednesday with a visiting bipartisan U.S. Senate delegation to discuss ways to expand and enhance the Abraham Accords.

Sens. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.) are leading the group that also includes Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and Ted Budd (R-N.C.).

The lawmakers previously visited Morocco, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, countries that, in addition to Sudan, normalized relations with Israel as part of the Trump administration-brokered agreements. (Read more here)

US to send hundreds of armored vehicles, rockets to Ukraine as part of $2.5b. assistance

The United States said on Thursday it would send hundreds of armored vehicles plus rockets and artillery shells to Ukraine as part of a $2.5 billion military assistance package.

The package includes 59 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, 90 Stryker Armored Personnel Carriers, 53 mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, and 350 high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles, the US Defense Department said in a statement.

The 59 Bradleys included in the latest US package come after a previous 50 announced earlier in January. The armored Bradley has a powerful gun and has been used by the US Army to carry troops around battlefields since the mid-1980s.

In total, the United States has committed more than $27.4 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since Russia invaded in February last year. (Jerusalem Post) Read more here.

- Father God, we call forth the armies of heaven to protect the innocent as they continue in this battle to protect the freedom and the sovereignty of their nation, Ukraine. We ask that this generous gift of military hardware be used in the most effective way possible, as this war continues.

- "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."      (Matthew 18:19)
Pro-lifers Hold 50th March for Life after fall of Roe v Wade
First March for Life took place in Washington, D.C., in 1973 after Roe decision

Chuck Donovan, president of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, has worked in the pro-life movement since 1971, including leadership roles at National Right to Life, Family Research Council, and the Reagan White House. He said the overturn of Roe is only the start for the pro-life movement.

"The reversal of Roe is not the end of our fight but a new beginning," Donovan told Fox News Digital. "Where once we dreamed of passing laws and public policies to save the lives of the unborn, now we have dozens of states across the country, as well as opportunities at the federal level, where the steps we take will mean life or death for millions of babies as well as support or neglect for their mothers."

Pro-life activists have since called on states to ban abortion across the country. Complete bans on abortion have been enacted in 13 states. One state enacted a six-week ban and four states enacted bans around 15 to 18 weeks.

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro Life America, said it is crucial to set the tone in a post-Roe country that unborn lives are worth protecting at all stages and circumstances.

"This is the first March for Life in the new Dobbs era after the people’s right to protect unborn babies and mothers in the law has been restored," Dannenfelser told Fox News Digital. "Our ongoing job is to be as ambitious for life as possible and to hold the debate that Roe curtailed, both in state legislatures and in Congress, centered on the humanity of the unborn child."

"Looking toward 2024, we expect GOP leaders to advocate a minimum federal standard, such as protecting unborn children from the time their heartbeat can be detected or at a point when they can feel pain," she added. (Fox News)

Abba, Your word directs that we are to speak up for those who can't speak, standing boldly for the rights of all the unfortunate (Proverbs 31:8). We rejoice in the overturning of Roe vs. Wade as we pray a double-portion of blessings upon mothers who keep their babies. We CRY out for the Sanctity of Life to be honored across America and ask for a strengthening in all future battles, so there will be NO compromise outside of the righteousness of God. We decree that every precious life saved will live to bring You GLORY! In the powerful name of Jesus-Amen.

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
