United We Stand                         Saturday, February 4, 2023
Please plan now to join us on our call this Monday, when we introduce our keynote speaker, Phillip Juaregui, Founder of JAG (Judicial Action Watch) ministries. For several decades, Phillip has had his eye on the Supreme Court, and has been providing intercessors with targeted prayer points over the Court, so that we can intercede in alignment with God's will and purpose for the judicial branch of our government.

During his presentation, Phillip will walk us through the prayer guide that JAG intercessors have been using, with a focus on repentance for judicial errors decreed by the Supreme Court over the years. You can join Phillip as he reads his prayer points by
going here to read this guide with him.

Our conference number is: 717-908-1834
Access Code: 616136#

Pentagon Tracking Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Over Northern US (and Canada)

The U.S. military is currently tracking a suspected Chinese spy balloon over Montana, according to a senior Pentagon official.

“The United States Government has detected and is tracking a high altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now,” said Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder in a Feb. 2 statement.

A senior defense official told reporters the Pentagon has a “very high confidence” that the balloon comes from China.

The high-altitude surveillance balloon allegedly floated over the Aleutian islands and Canada before crossing over the airspace of Montana, according to an NBC report that cited three unnamed government officials.

Ryder said that North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) detected the balloon some days ago and that the military had taken measures to conceal any sensitive information that could be spotted from such a craft.

“The U.S. government, to include NORAD, continues to track and monitor it closely,” Ryder said. “The balloon is currently traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic and does not present a military or physical threat to people on the ground.”

“Instances of this kind of balloon activity have been observed previously over the past several years. Once the balloon was detected, the U.S. government acted immediately to protect against the collection of sensitive information.” (Epoch Times) Read more

"“When the balloon goes up” is military slang for the start of a shooting war. The Chinese Communist Party has literally sent a very large balloon up to collect intelligence over sensitive sites in the continental United States and the Biden administration’s refusal to shoot it down invites actual hostilities." Today's Breaking News:

Blinken Trip to China Postponed After Suspected Spy Balloon Spotted Over U.S.
- Wall Street Journal

The Biden administration said that a suspected Chinese reconnaissance balloon drifting over the continental U.S. violated American sovereignty, and indefinitely postponed a scheduled visit to Beijing by Secretary of State Antony Blinken aimed at easing the acrimony in the nations’ relationship.

Officials pulled the plug on the trip hours before Mr. Blinken was set to depart, underscoring the enormous challenges of finding areas of constructive cooperation, even as both capitals reiterated on Friday their commitment to reviving talks at a later date.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry denied Friday that the craft was for spying, saying it was a civilian balloon designed primarily for meteorological study that had blown off course. (No Link)

- Holy King, we take authority over the ability of this balloon to gather any intelligence information at all, in Jesus name.  We bind up its systems and command them to utterly fail, and we rebuke the lies and schemes coming from the CCP, in Jesus name.  We pray, Holy Spirit, that You release peace in the earth and that this incredible violation of our national sovereignty does not result in warfare conflict because of Your light and presence.  In Jesus name.

- "For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me.  Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For you are my strength."  (Psalm 31:3-4)

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issues frightening warning: CCP has invaded ‘every major’ US university

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo joined "Sunday Morning Futures" to discuss China and the dynamic threat they pose to the U.S.'s vulnerable national security.

MIKE POMPEO: If you're afraid to enforce the rules, if you continue to allow them to walk on the American economy, if you keep giving an inch in every space, they'll be inside the gates here in the United States. And frankly, that's what we face today. And for four years, during my time as CIA director or secretary of state, I never gave an inch. (Fox News) Read more here.

- Lord God, we pray that our representatives will take this national security threat seriously. We pray, Lord, that these kinds of purchases would be regulated or prohibited, as we do not understand how foreign countries have been able to come in and purchase and acquire so much of our land, schools, and supplies. We don’t know the root of all this evil but you do Lord, so we just take a battle axe and cut at the root of this scheme so that these plans are null and void in Jesus' name, amen.

- “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper…” (Isaiah 54:17)
Planned new FBI HQ is twice the size of the Pentagon

The federal government is proceeding with plans to build a new FBI headquarters complex twice the size of the Pentagon building.

Riveted into the colossal new project are woke regulations to ensure that the FBI center will comply with diversity, equity, LGBTQ+, and climate change political goals.

The plan, unveiled last September, has received little attention. For years the FBI has sought to vacate its present headquarters, a brutalist concrete bunker on stilts and occupying two city blocks between the White House and the Capitol.

Plans for the new FBI headquarters specify that it will be built on one of three sites in suburban Virginia and Maryland. Those sites are large parcels of 58, 61, and 80 acres.

That means, at minimum, the new FBI headquarters complex would be twice the size of the Pentagon building. Covering about 29 acres plus a five-acre courtyard, the Pentagon, until recently, was the largest office building on earth.

GSA set out five criteria for choosing the property: FBI mission requirement; transportation access for FBI personnel; site development flexibility, which includes the suitability of the actual property and the earliest time construction could begin; promoting sustainable siting and advancing equity; and cost.

- Father God, we lift up the authorities in Congress, asking that they weigh carefully the use of our taxpayer money before approving the construction of this huge building. Let our Congress spend the funds in our national treasury wisely, even as we each must do planning for our own family's budgets. In Your Name, amen and amen.

- "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)

At 8:20 p.m., Senators will, Lord willing, gather in the Senate Chamber and proceed as a body to the Hall of the House for a joint session to receive an address from the President of the United States.

House Floor Schedule
From the floor colloquy:
Mr. SCALISE (TW). Mr. Speaker, I rise for the purpose of announcing the schedule for next week.

Mr. Speaker, the House will meet next Monday at noon for morning hour and 2 p.m. for legislative business.

On Tuesday, the House will meet at 10 a.m. for legislative business. At 9 p.m. the House and Senate will assemble for a joint session to receive President Biden's address on the State of the Union. Members should be seated in the House Chamber by 8:25 p.m.

On Wednesday, the House will meet at 10 a.m. for morning hour and 12 p.m. for legislative business.

On Thursday, the House will meet at 9 a.m. for legislative business.

We will be considering several bills under suspension of the rules during the week. The complete list of suspension bills has been posted on the Clerk's website.

Next week, the House is expected to consider a number of bills under rules: H.R. 185, to terminate the requirement imposed by the Director of CMS for proof of COVID-19 vaccination for foreign travelers and for other purposes. H.R. 185 rescinds the Biden administration's vaccine requirement on travelers who are coming to visit the United States.

The House is also expected to consider H.J.Res. 26, disapproving the District of Columbia's City Council revised Criminal Code Act of 2021. H.J.Res. 26 makes it clear that Congress does not approve of the City Council's radical decision to reduce penalties for a variety of crimes, including many violent crimes.

Finally, we expect to consider H.J.Res. 24, disapproving the action of the District of Columbia's City Council in approving the Local Resident Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2022. What this resolution would do is reverse the decision by the D.C. Council that would allow illegal aliens to vote. As we all know, our southern border has been wide open under President Biden. Millions of people have come into our country illegally, and he continues to keep that border open. We have talked about bringing legislation to this floor, which we are working on in committee, to secure America's border. But, in the meantime, the idea that allowing people that are here illegally to vote here, not only undermines one of our most sacred rights in the United States, but it also sends the wrong message to those who are seeking to come into our country illegally. We need President Biden to close the southern border, secure the southern border, get back to a legal process of immigration. That is what H.J.Res. 24 would do.

Our Weekly Call to Repentance

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
