National Gathering for Prayer & Repentance Draws Evangelical & Legislative Leaders to Washington D.C.
On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, Tony Perkins (Family Research Council) & Dr. Jim Garlow (Well Versed) hosted the 2nd Annual National Gathering for Prayer & Repentance at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Keynote speakers including Jonathan Cahn, Speaker of the House - Mike Johnson and former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann delivered a powerful and moving prayer event among a large crowd and national Livestream broadcast.

We also take note that one year ago, approximately just after the same day of Repentance and Prayer took place in Washington, D.C., a great awakening broke forth on the campus of Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. This revival was sparked by students who stayed in Hughes Auditorium following a regularly scheduled chapel service on February 8, 2023. The Spirit held those students in that chapel for hours on end, and a great revival was then unleashed across the nation. Numerous colleges also began reporting that "Revival" had broken out among their students, too!

Praise the Lord! One year later, this revival has continued to move across our nation as countless souls have now turned back to God in repentance, finding new life in Christ Jesus!

Could it be that last year's event at the Museum of the Bible, when evangelical and governmental leaders bowed in unity, in an act of TRUE REPENTANCE before the Throne of the Most High GOD, has unleashed the revival we are seeing now? Has an act of REPENTANCE brought the fruit of SALVATION to countless lost souls across America? Praise God!  Let it be so, O Lord! Let it be so!

And we give You ALL THE GLORY for what You have done!

WE pray that our nation and leaders will experience a "Return to God" as we turn from our nation's sin and seek His healing through prayers of repentance. "Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance," (Matthew 3:8)

If you missed the Livestream of the event, you can watch the recording below. And please join us in thanking Dr. Jim Garlow and Tony Perkins for the work they put forth to bring this blessing to our nation.

'Take Our Border Back Convoy': Trucker Group Converging on Eagle Pass, Texas

DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas - The government of Texas is in a standoff with the Biden administration over its border policies, and now, some Americans are heading south to show their support for the Lone Star State.

A convoy of truckers is demanding a change in U.S. policy. They argue the federal government is making it harder for Texas to protect its border while making it easier on migrants headed for the U.S.

In addition, the United Nations and NGOs are aiding migrants heading to the U.S. border, and that's also causing concern with some U.S. lawmakers who argue U.S. taxpayers should not be helping to fund their journeys.

Scrutiny of the UN is mounting as it reportedly hands out cash to migrants during their treks north across Central America to the U.S. border. According to the Center for Immigration Studies, the aid adds up to billions of dollars.

Todd Bensman, senior fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), told CBN News, "The United Nations for 2024 plans to spend $1.6 billion, much of it U.S. tax-funded, on migration trails to assist about 3 million people. These funds, in cash, debit cards, envelopes, and vouchers, are for migrants, many heading to cross the U.S. border illegally. They'll also receive food, shelter, and other essentials."

Lt. Col. (Ret) Pete "Doc" Chambers told CBN News, "This all started with a North Texas pastor's idea for a border tent revival. The convoy's aim is to highlight the border's open policies, pointing out failures in upholding the Constitution and addressing issues like human trafficking and drug smuggling."

Chambers said, "We just don't live in a spirit of fear in Texas, number one. And there is an American character that exists in this country that we fought for to continue to uphold the U.S. Constitution. So do you know why the people …all the way down to the sheriffs agree with me? Because they took the same oath." (CBN)

- Lord, we pray for Your mighty protection over this convoy and all participants. Let no heavy-handed response take place by the Federal government. We bind any violence in the Name of Jesus, and  ask that wisdom prevail over the entire situation. Let Your Holy Spirit have freedom to touch hearts and change lives.

- "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." (2 Corinthians 3:17)

BREAKING: Trump Election Interference Case in Washington DC Has Been Removed from Court Calendar – Postponed Indefinitely

According to several reports the Trump election interference case in Washington DC has been removed from the court calendar.

The case has been postponed indefinitely.

The lawsuit against the former US President was originally scheduled for March 4, 2024 before Super Tuesday. This is a huge blow to radical Obama Judge Tanya Chatkun and the Marxist horde in America.

The Democrat Party and globalist left was hoping to use this lawfare case to damage Trump in the mainstream media before Super Tuesday.

Now they have to focus on the ridiculous lawfare cases in the communist New York City courts to damage Trump that have already been decided before they start.

The DC case was removed from the calendar within the last five days.

Former president Donald Trump’s March 4 trial date on charges of plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election has been dropped from the public calendar of the federal court in Washington, a sign of what has long been anticipated — that his claim of presidential immunity from criminal prosecution would delay his trial while it remains on appeal.

The change did not appear on the official criminal case docket before U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan, who has made clear since Trump filed his appeal on Dec. 7 that all trial deadlines would be suspended while he challenges the case. On appeal, Trump is arguing that the government does not have authority under the Constitution to bring charges against him for actions he took while president after the 2020 election through the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack, when he attempted to prevent Congress from confirming Joe Biden’s election victory.

A delay in the D.C. case makes it increasingly likely that the first of Trump’s four criminal trials could be held this spring in Manhattan on New York state charges of business fraud in connection with hush money payments during the 2016 election. That trial has nominally been set for March 25, but the court in that case has signaled deference to Trump’s federal election subversion case. New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan has scheduled a pretrial hearing in two weeks — Feb. 15 — and is expected to decide after that if the trial will go forward as planned.

As of at least Thursday, the March 4 trial date was dropped from a date-searchable calendar on the public website of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. It was not immediately clear when it was removed. An internal master court trial calendar distributed Jan. 26 showed Trump’s trial date, suggesting the change was recent, according to a federal official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an internal document. (The Gateway Pundit) Read more here.

- Lord, we thank You that this may reflect the postponement that President Trump was seeking. But we also pray that all of these cases will be removed permanently from all court dockets, that he would be free of the attacks against him.

- "Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him." (Isaiah 30:18)

Confronting Communist China

By Gary Bauer; American Values

There were two important hearings on Capitol Hill yesterday (Wednesday, Jan. 31st) regarding cybersecurity. Most of the media focused on a Senate hearing into what social media companies are doing to our children.

Kudos to Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) for forcing Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to apologize to the parents in the hearing room.

But on the other side of the Capitol, members of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party heard disturbing testimony from top security officials about the growing threats from Beijing.

FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that communist China has prioritized cyberwarfare and that Chinese hackers outnumber FBI cybersecurity personnel by 50-to-1. Wray added, “Cyber threats to our critical infrastructure represent real-world threats to our physical safety.”

Jen Easterly, director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, elaborated on Wray’s remarks. Here’s how she described the threat we’re facing today:

“It is Chinese military doctrine to attempt to induce societal panic in their adversary. The Chinese government got a taste of this in the aftermath of the ransomware attack on Colonial Pipeline in May of 2021 that shut down gas to the Eastern Seaboard for several days. [Americans] couldn't get to work. They couldn’t take their kids to school, get folks to the hospital. It caused a bit of panic.

“Now imagine that on a massive scale. Imagine not one pipeline, but many pipelines disrupted and telecommunications going down so people can’t use their cell phone. People start getting sick from polluted water. Trains get derailed. Air traffic control systems, port control systems are malfunctioning. This is truly an everything, everywhere all at once scenario.”

Everyone should watch Easterly’s testimony, especially many of the pro-China corporate apologists at the Chamber of Commerce!

Here’s another idea: Copy those quotes above. Give them to your neighbors and family members. Help them understand the threats we are facing from communist China and why it is vital to have leaders who will aggressively confront these threats.

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT
Dial 717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

717-908-1983
Access Code: 9301470#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
