Biden Doctrine: US Reviews Options for Recognizing Palestinian State

The major foreign policy shift would face deep opposition within Israel
|
|
The Biden administration is bucking decades of U.S. foreign policy by considering a plan to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state, despite deep opposition to the move within Israel.Both Axios and The New York Times reported on Wednesday about this potential major shift in the American approach towards Palestinian statehood, which hitherto has emphasized direct negotiations between Jerusalem and Ramallah.
According to the Axios report, which cites two U.S. officials familiar with the situation, Secretary of State Antony Blinken requested a review of policy options for the recognition of a Palestinian state after Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza concludes.In the months since the Oct. 7 terrorist assault on southern Israel, the Biden administration has been pushing for Palestinian statehood as part of a major normalization pact and regional security initiative between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
The Palestinian issue was not reportedly seen as a major obstacle to a Jerusalem-Riyadh detente before the Hamas attack, but the Biden administration’s stance has apparently changed and the Saudis are emphasizing a pathway to a Palestinian state as a precondition for normalization. “Well Funded Cabal” Influenced the 2020 Election-What Lies Ahead in 2024?

Republicans may be holding a losing hand this November as the Democratic party uses the advantages during and after the 2020 election cycle. While former President Donald Trump appears to be cruising toward the GOP nomination, and with a polling lead over incumbent President Joe Biden in key swing states, Republicans will likely face a much steeper climb in the general election than they realize.
Fundamental changes in state election laws, coupled with an alliance of left-wing federal, corporate, financial, and nonprofit entities, have handed the Democratic Party advantages that the GOP may be unable to overcome.
The 2020 ‘Shadow Campaign’
In a laudatory 2021 article in Time titled “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” author Molly Ball detailed a “well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage, and control the flow of information.”

- Abba, we appreciate all the work that Ms. Ball has obviously put into writing this article and that she believes the cabal will potentially, once again, steal the election. Father God, our only response to this is "But God"! We stand against the fear that would say You are not powerful enough to bring about your purposes in this upcoming election. We ask You to intercede for your remnant, give us eyes to see your hand working behind the scenes, ears to hear your voice behind us saying, "this is the way, walk ye in it". We ask that at every juncture where the enemy is linking plans together to defeat your intentions, warrior angels will crush and destroy all communications, breaking down connections between individuals and groups set up to move in unethical and unholy ways. We ask that Holy Spirit open their eyes to see your angels standing before them, let fear overtake their hearts and put an end to all unrighteous plans. We ask this in the name El Shaddai, God Almighty, the God who has ultimate power over all.

Is it Just a Coincidence that the Great American Eclipse of 2024 Will Enter the US at Eagle Pass Texas?

The Great American Eclipse of 2024 is just a little bit more than two months away, and amazingly the very first city that the path of the eclipse crosses over when it enters the U.S. is Eagle Pass, Texas. There are more than 19,000 incorporated cities, towns and villages in the United States, and out of all of them Eagle Pass is the very first that the eclipse will touch. On April 8th, 2024 the entire world will be watching as the Great American Eclipse travels across America. Prior to this historic event, the last total solar eclipse visible from the U.S. was the Great American Eclipse of 2017, and there will not be another total solar eclipse visible from our country until 2044.
So this is a really big deal.

1. Biden sanctions Israeli settlers accused of attacking Palestinians and peace activists in West Bank - APNews
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden on Thursday issued an executive order that targets Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have been accused of attacking Palestinians and Israeli peace activists in the occupied territory, imposing financial sanctions and visa bans in an initial round against four individuals.
Those settlers were involved in acts of violence, as well as threats and attempts to destroy or seize Palestinian property, according to the order. The penalties aim to block the four from using the U.S. financial system and bar American citizens from dealing with them. U.S. officials said they were evaluating whether to punish others involved in attacks that have intensified during the Israel-Hamas war.
Biden’s order is a rare step against America’s closest ally in the Mideast who, Biden says, has the right to defend itself. But the Democratic president has pressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to show greater restraint in its military operations aimed at rooting out Hamas. Netanyahu denounced the U.S. penalties, which his government was notified in advance, U.S. officials said. (Read more)

NEW YORK - US President Joe Biden signed an executive order Thursday placing sanctions against Jewish extremists who attack innocent Palestinians in the West Bank, warning that such actions help destabilize the Middle East.
“I find that the situation in the West Bank – in particular high levels of extremist settler violence, forced displacement of people and villages, and property destruction – has reached intolerable levels and constitutes a serious threat to the peace, security, and stability of the West Bank and Gaza, Israel, and the broader Middle East region,” the order reads.
Biden’s order establishes a system for imposing financial sanctions and visa restrictions against individuals who are found to have attacked or intimidated Palestinians or seized their property, two senior Biden administration officials told reporters. (Read more)

3. Netanyahu aides propose demilitarized Palestinian state, Saudi normalization - World Israel News
A plan for military control of Gaza which would gradually lead to a Palestinian state and Saudi Arabia’s normalization of relations with Israel was reported in Ma’ariv on Tuesday.
The first phase of the plan is a military government that will oversee humanitarian aid to Gazan civilians during the transition period.
The second phase will usher in rule of Gaza comprised by a coalition of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, the UAE, and Bahrain.
Included in the second phase is a normalization agreement that will create a new Palestinian Authority not involving Hamas or Fatah. (Read more)

4. Defense minister vows IDF will push south to Rafah as Khan Younis offensive wraps up - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant vowed Thursday that the Israeli military will reach and dismantle Hamas’s Rafah Brigade, just as it is currently working to do to its battalions in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza.
Gallant stated that ongoing operations have severely weakened the terror group’s ability to wage war and that the pressure will force it to agree to release hostages it kidnapped during their October 7 attack on Israel.
“Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade boasted that it would stand against the IDF, now it’s falling apart, and I am telling you here, we are completing the mission in Khan Younis and we will also reach Rafah and eliminate everyone there who is a terrorist who is trying to harm us,” Gallant told troops of the IDF’s 98th Division during his visit to Khan Younis Wednesday. 5. Qatar: Hamas gives initial approval for hostages-for-ceasefire deal - JNS
Qatar has received an “initial positive confirmation” from the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza in response to its most recent hostages-for-ceasefire proposal, Doha’s Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday night, according to Al Jazeera.
“Israel agreed to the ceasefire proposal, and we have initial positive confirmation from Hamas,” the Qatari state-owned network cited Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed al-Ansari as saying.
However, a political source in Jerusalem told Ynet that Israel had not received any official update from Qatar. Israel’s War Cabinet was scheduled to meet on Thursday night at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv to discuss the recent developments in the negotiations.
Earlier this week, Jerusalem agreed to a framework for a renewed deal to secure the release of some hostages in exchange for a ceasefire, reported The Washington Post on Tuesday. Hamas was considering the offer, according to the Post, citing officials familiar with the negotiations. (Read more)

1. DeSantis wins as judge dismisses Disney's lawsuit against him - BBC
A US judge has sided with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in his fight with Disney, rejecting a lawsuit that had accused the Republican of organising a campaign of "government retaliation".
Judge Allen Winsor said the actions that Disney opposed were legal and it lacked standing to sue the governor.
Florida moved to tighten its oversight of Disney's amusement park last year. (Read more)

2. Watch: Devastating Footage Captures Illegals From All Over Globe Invading US - Infowars.com
Footage filmed by an independent journalist on the US-Mexico border shows throngs of illegal aliens from various foreign countries traveling by foot to be apprehended by Border Patrol agents.
Border Wars reporter Anthony Aguero confronted the illegals on Tuesday as they walked along a border wall near Jacumba, California.
Aguero discovered many jubilant illegals arrived from far-away lands including China, Columbia, Brazil, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Russia.
The group carrying backpacks, bags and luggage included men, women, teenagers and children, and most appeared to be well-dressed and properly clothed for winter.
Most also greeted Aguero with a smile, with some telling him they plan to head to New York City and Boston, Mass.
San Antonio, Miami, Chicago, Indianapolis, Utah, Los Angeles, and Seattle were other US destinations listed by other male military-aged illegals interviewed.
Once apprehended by Border Patrol agents, the illegals are reportedly given an immigration court date, a gift card loaded with thousands of dollars, a phone, and a bus or plane ticket to the destination US city of their choice.
Aguero has been calling attention to the invasion unfolding at Jacumba while most of the news cycle on the border has been centered around Texas’ standoff with the federal government. (Read more)

3. Blinking Red: US is Scrambling to Prep for a China Invasion of Taiwan, Defense Officials say – Daily Caller
The United States is rushing to improve its military capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region in preparation for a potential Chinese invasion of Taiwan, Reuters reported Wednesday.
The U.S. is concerned that China is prepping to invade and reunity with Taiwan in the coming years amid heightened aggression and hostilities in the Asia-Pacific. Part of U.S. preparations for a China invasion of Taiwan includes improving logistics hubs and creating a stockpile of readily available military equipment throughout the region, according to Reuters.
Our ability to deter conflict in the Western Pacific over the next five years is not close to where it needs to be,” Republican Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker, a leading member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told Reuters.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered the country’s military to be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027. The U.S. holds a position of “strategic ambiguity” when it comes to defending Taiwan, but President Joe Biden has warned on multiple occasions that the U.S. will have direct military involvement if China invades the island, which the White House has had to continually walk back.
The U.S. implemented part of its plan to bolster military stockpiles in the region during the “Talisman Sabre” joint military exerciseswith Australia in July of 2023, according to Reuters. While the exercise was meant to showcase joint military capabilities, it also allowed the U.S. to leave behind massive amounts of equipment, including hundreds of vehicles and weapons containers, in Australia in the event of a future drill or war in the region. China’s communist regime will likely cripple U.S. critical infrastructure as part of its military attack on Taiwan to shake Washington’s resolve to defend the self-ruled island, according to a government cybersecurity official and lawmakers.

Some 70 pastors from 18 countries visited Israel this week to see traces of the devastation of Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attacks at Kibbutz Nir Oz and in a parking lot with 1,300 burned-out cars.
“The yard with piles of burned-out, rusted cars felt almost sacred, since so many of them once contained Israelis whose lives were so brutally cut short,” said David Parsons, vice president and senior spokesman of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem, which sponsored the trip.
Gerald McDermott, a scholar and Anglican priest, stated that the group “saw the face of radical evil,” and what results “when human beings become dehumanized and treat others as less than human.”
The group saw an abandoned dining hall filled with broken glass and rotting food at the kibbutz, where they also visited the home of Kfir Bibas, the youngest hostage in Gaza, who turned 1 year old earlier this month. The group saw the child’s baby bouncer and his brother’s bicycle and toys outside the house.

6. Settlement Mega-Event Calls for Jewish Return to Gaza Strip – Israel365 News
A majority of Israelis support Jews living in the Strip.
In an exuberant display of support for re-establishing Jewish communities in the Gaza Strip, 5,000 activists filled three large halls to overflowing at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on Sunday night.
A kind of conference featured music, a cheering crowd, and a parade of rabbis and politicians delivering speeches and prayers.
Religious Zionists made up the vast majority of the participants, with a smattering of haredim, or ultra-Orthodox. Notable was the marked youth of the attendees, with many of them tweens.
The energetic mega-event marked a milestone in a burgeoning movement begun following the Oct. 7 massacre calling for a Jewish return to Gush Katif.
Gush Katif was the largest bloc of 21 Jewish settlements forcibly evacuated from the Strip by Israel in 2005 as part of its disengagement plan. (Four additional settlements were evacuated in northern Samaria.) In total, more than 8,000 Jews were removed from their homes. Even Jewish graves were dug up and bones reinterred. (Read more)

7. US to Launch Multi-Day Strikes Against “Iranian Targets” Across Syria and Iraq – ZeroHedge
The Biden administration is planning to launch a days-long or even potentially weeks-long bombing campaign on Iranian assets across the Middle East, although there doesn't appear to be plans to hit Iran directly, according to US officials speaking to NBC and CBS.
The attacks which will reportedly focus on 'Iranian targets' inside Syrian and Iraq are meant as retaliation and a supposed deterrent in response to the weekend drone attack which killed three American soldiers at a Jordanian base near the Syrian border. The attacks might extend to the Iranian navy as well, in addition to targeting Iranian personnel or 'Iran-backed militias' in Syria and Iraq.
While the Pentagon has said that said the Jordan base attack had the "footprints" of Kataib Hezbollah (or the Shia 'resistance' group of Iraq), no culprit has been definitively named, and US officials have also admitted they have not evidence Iran was behind it. But they are now reportedly saying the drone used in the attack was manufactured in Iran. (Read more)

- Father, we recall Your directive to seek Your face, seek Your will. Lord God, we have no reason to believe that the Biden Administration has sought Your will in this matter of retaliation against Iranian proxies or Iran itself. We are not even sure that Iran was behind the drone attack. We recognize that we are treading on dangerous ground without Your leading; Lord, we, as intercessors, stand in the gap for our government and seek Your face and ask that if You are not with the U.S. in these retaliatory attacks in the Middle East, that You would do only what You can do, and that is to stop our military response until Your will and Your timing has been discerned. We ask that You have mercy and forgive any actions that You have not authorized. Your kingdom come, ONLY YOUR WILL BE DONE, in Your timing and in Your way.
We also ask You to comfort those who mourn the deaths of 3 of our finest in Iraq and bring healing to those who have been wounded. Send Your warrior angels and human reinforcements to watch over and protect our military wherever they may be stationed. May they move and act only within Your will.

8. Religious Persecution Against Christians in the West Rising at Alarming Rate – Prophecy Newswatch
Religious persecution against Christians in the Western world is rising at an alarming rate, according to a new report from Family Research Council's Center for Religious Liberty.
In the 2024 edition of "Free to Believe? The Intensifying Intolerance Toward Christians in The West," the Center for Religious Liberty identified 168 incidents of anti-Christian hatred or discrimination from January 2020 to the end of 2023, including 33 incidents last year alone. Although 2020 (61) and 2021 (49) saw the most incidents of persecution against Christians, the majority were related to COVID-19 lockdown violations, but the report notes an increase in intolerance toward public and even private expression of biblical worldviews in the West.
The report states, "As the mainstream culture moves further and further away from a Christian worldview, Christian beliefs that contradict progressive secular values are increasingly denounced by the culture and wrongly portrayed as being hateful or bigoted." It adds, "The past three years each having fewer incidents than 2020 does not necessarily indicate an overall decline in intolerance toward Christians. ... Although FRC identified fewer incidents related to COVID-19 after 2020, incidents that we identified of Christians facing discrimination for their biblically informed beliefs increased."
"This report is a warning call," wrote FRC President Tony Perkins in a letter attached to the report. "It is shocking to see Western countries -- the same ones we think of as free and open societies -- take authoritarian measures against Christians simply trying to live out their faith. (Read more)

- Lord, is this what happens in a nation that no longer functions as ‘one nation under God’, that has tried to banish God from the public square, and tries to indoctrinate our innocents and remove our freedom of speech and religion to be replaced with secular beliefs and lawlessness? Father God, we thank You that You still have many people in this nation who will stand for righteousness and truth even though their livelihoods or even lives may be at stake. Continue to use us to point others to THE WAY, however You wish.
Show us what steps to take to combat the persecution and lies in our culture and current government, and may we at all times keep our focus on the finish line. May we heed the exhortation from FRC President Tony Perkins: the report ‘is a call to individuals to vigorously exercise their religious freedom while at the same time calling upon government officials to recognize and prioritize the protection of this fundamental human right so that religious freedom can continue to be promoted around the world.’
We earnestly pray for Revival across our nation, that our people may truly live Your version of the abundant life. May we look past the threats, the lawsuits, the scorn and ridicule and continue to follow You with our whole hearts, having counted the cost. We look ahead and now see the King of Kings and Lord of Lords at the finish line!

Despite hundreds of research papers to the contrary, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) maintains on its website that “COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective and free. Everyone 6 months and older can get an updated COVID-19 vaccine.” The CDC is promoting loading up everyone from aged six month and older with multiple doses of COVID-19 serum, claiming that people who are up to date on their COVID-19 shots “have lower risk of illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19.” According to multiple studies, however, those up to date with COVID-19 shots could die not only from COVID-19, but also heart disease such as myocarditis, pericarditis, stroke, blood clots and other complications.
A great piece of investigative reporting by Epoch Times’ Zachary Stieber revealed that CDC lied to the public with the whole “safe and effective” propaganda, and also withheld critical information from the public that may have changed their minds about taking the mRNA shots. Stieber writes: “The nation’s top public health agency did not send an alert on COVID-19 vaccines and heart inflammation because officials were concerned they would cause panic… The alert would have been sent through the CDC’s Health Alert System (HAN) network, which goes to state and local officials, as well as doctors, across the country. A secure future for America is tied to winning two related shooting wars, one in Ukraine and the other in Israel. Victory will weaken the Russia-Iran-China axis that is at war with the United States. The will and a strategy to win are crucial and will require strong U.S. leadership, particularly from the president of the United States.
In our war with the Russia-Iran-China axis (North Korea is the junior partner), American troops are not engaged directly at this time, but those of our Ukrainian and Israeli allies experience death and destruction every day. The sooner the American people and their elected officials recognize that we are at war—by proxy, for now—the better off we’ll be.
Our leadership is fearful of speaking this hard truth. This incapacity at the top is fueling a new anti-war strain in American politics at home and the perception of American weakness among adversaries and fence-sitters abroad. The president needs to marginalize domestic opposition as the isolationist right and the progressive left are both proposing the equivalent of surrender. The right seeks to leave Ukraine to its own devices against Russia and the left is opposed to a complete Israeli victory over Hamas. (Israel365News)

Our normal world isn't normal anymore, it is completely out of control with countries at war and competing voices in the US trying to convince us to "pick a side". Father God, we are on YOUR side, but in all the upheaval it can be very hard to hear your voice, to know your heart, to understand where we are to stand. Jesus, we ask you to raise up leaders in your church who have your anointing, the power of your words to bring truth into the darkness and light up the pathway of your Kingdom for us to follow. Let us be as many before us who set their hearts on seeking your face for revival or those who prayed seeking strategies during the world wars, giving military leadership your wisdom and insight which brought victory. Weather played a crucial role for the
Underground Railroad
|

The name Harriet Tubman may be very well known in this day and age, but less well known is the crucial role the land, the seasons and the weather played in the dangerous trips the iconic abolitionist took, repeatedly risking her life to guide enslaved people to new lives of freedom.
Tubman was born in 1822 in Dorchester County, Maryland. Born into slavery, she escaped to freedom in the North in 1849 and went on to become the most famous conductor on the Underground Railroad.
"I was conductor of the Underground Railroad for eight years, and I can say what most conductors can't say – I never ran my train off the track and I never lost a passenger," Tubman famously said.
Located just 5 miles from where Tubman was born is the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park in Dorchester County. The park preserves the land she used to carry herself and many others to safety some 170 years ago. Angela Crenshaw manages the national park and talked with AccuWeather about the surrounding geography then and now.
“I’ve been told that if you tell Harriet Tubman you’re here at the center, you tell her where north is, south is, east and west, she’d be able to make her way to Bucktown, which is east of here," Crenshaw told AccuWeather one rainy February afternoon. "And she’d be able to make her way to Peter’s Neck, which is where she was born in Madison just west of here, and she would know that Cambridge is just north. Pastors, Rabbis to Meet Lawmakers on Capitol Hill to Support Israel

A significant event took place on Capitol Hill on Wednesday as dozens of Christian pastors and Jewish rabbis walked the halls of Congress together, meeting with lawmakers from both sides of the aisle. Their task was to speak up for the state of Israel and the Jewish people. They reminded the representatives and senators about the urgency of the situation as Israel continues its war against Hamas and fights to free the remaining 100+ hostages being held by the terror group. Robert Stearns, founder and executive director of Eagles' Wings Ministries was one of those religious leaders. Stearns appeared on the Tuesday edition of CBN's The 700 Club to talk about why it's important for Christian and Jewish leaders to meet with lawmakers. "The issues facing Israel are not really isolated in any way to Israel itself. The battle that Israel is facing is a battle that affects the whole world," he explained. "And the need is for Christians to take a stand, an educated stand, in this moment as never before". One of the issues discussed was the revelation that employees of the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees in Gaza were suspected of taking part in the Oct. 7 terror attack by Hamas on southern Israel. The United Nations, which is supposed to be safeguarding human rights around the world, is absolutely culpable in terrorism, in Israel, in Gaza. This is now proven."
Speaking on the subject of the Senate Democrats' proposal of a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine, and their intention to create legislation to make it the policy of the United States, Stern reminded viewers that "Israel accepted a two-state solution from the very beginning. The Palestinians have been offered a two-state solution even prior to 1948," he pointed out. "The Israelis have accepted this over and over again. The Palestinians have rejected this over and over again. The greater Arab world has rejected it. And now, that you've got a radicalized population in Gaza funded by Iran, supported, going through Qatar, how are we supposed to think when you've educated a generation of children in Jew-hatred? This is the hour for all Christians to rise to our spiritual heritage which is based there in Jerusalem, and become informed ambassadors on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people," Sterns added. "We are in a Bonhoeffer moment. Dietrich Bonhoeffer tried to rally the church in Germany as he saw the evil of Hitler arising. As he saw the storm clouds on the horizon, Bonhoeffer began to lift his voice. Only 16% of the churches in Germany sided with Bonhoeffer and stood against the evil of Hitler. And we saw what happened. America must not repeat this mistake. This is our Bonhoeffer moment and we need to rise to it," Sterns noted. (CBN) Watch Interview>
