"Standing United Together . . . Under the Cross of Christ"
Biden Issues Executive Order Directing Release of Some 9/11 Documents

With the 20-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks approaching, President Joe Biden signed an executive order that directed the release of some documents related to the incident.

The executive order directs the Department of Justice (DOJ) and other agencies to start a review of documents and requires Attorney General Merrick Garland to release declassified information in the coming months.

“We must never forget the enduring pain of the families and loved ones of the 2,977 innocent people who were killed during the worst terrorist attack on America in our history. For them, it was not only a national and international tragedy,” said Biden in a statement.

He added: “For 20 years, children have grown up without parents and parents have suffered without children. Husbands and wives have had to find a way forward without their partners in life. Brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, loved ones and friends have celebrated 20 years of birthdays, family gatherings, and milestones looking at an empty chair at homes and with a hole in their hearts.”

Weeks ago, numerous families and survivors of the 9/11 attacks issued a statement urging Biden not to attend any of their memorials unless the White House releases documents surrounding Saudi Arabia’s alleged involvement in the attacks.

The group in question, 9/11 Families, issued a statement praising Biden’s move on Friday. “We are thrilled to see the president forcing the release of more evidence about Saudi connections to the 9/11 attacks,” Terry Strada, whose husband died in the attacks, said on Friday.

Strada added that, however, “there is much more work” that needs to be done “to rectify the immense damage the 20-year shroud of secrecy has caused.”

It’s not clear where Biden will mark the Sept. 11 attacks anniversary.

Chinese-run port opens in Haifa, new port also in works in Ashdod

“We can leverage this opportunity not just for local prosperity, but for realizing opportunities and making a real contribution to our neighbors in the Middle East,” said Israeli Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli.

Israel opened a Chinese-operated shipping port in Haifa geared to increase competition and the country’s status as a trading nexus.

The 5.5 billion shekel ($1.7 billion) Bay Port at Haifa is being operated by Shanghai International Port Group and has the ability to accept larger cargo ships, reported Reuters.

A whopping 99 percent of goods enter and leave Israel by sea, it wrote, adding that expanded relations with Gulf states are opening new trade opportunities.

“We can leverage this opportunity not just for local prosperity, but for realizing opportunities and making a real contribution to our neighbors in the Middle East,” said Israeli Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli, according to the report.

A new port in Ashdod—to be operated by the Swiss company, Terminal Investment Limited—is also scheduled to open by the end of the year.

- Father God, we come before Your Throne of Grace, asking for mercy for Israel in their time of need. Lord God, only You know that reason why the Israeli authorities have allowed this to happen; and only You can now protect  this nation from this potential danger from the nation of China. Come, Lord Jesus we pray . . . come.

- "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)
A Blessing for our Nation

Sponsored by Maureen Bravo and the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call family

When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land,

or send pestilence among My people,

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face,

and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.“

(2 Chronicles 7:13-14)

30 Days of Confession, Repentance and Prayer for the Healing of our Nation,

August 31 - September 29, 2021

We of the 24/7 NSPC have been engaged in a spiritual battle...a warfare of love...interceding hourly on behalf of our nation for the past 4¾ years, beginning on November 11, 2016. Today, we enter into 30 Days of Confession, Repentance and Prayer for the Healing of our Nation, answering the call of God to come together, fall on our knees and confess the sin of our nation, repenting corporately before Him. When we do, His promise is that He will “hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land!”

Our corporate sin has allowed the undermining and erosion of the very foundations of this nation!  Heeding the words of Ezra 10:4, we acknowledge “arise, for this matter is our responsibility.” Receiving conviction for the sin of this nation in our hearts, we will be empowered to confess and repent for those sins, then pray effectively for the healing of our nation!

Over the next 30 days, as we identify, confess and repent for our national sins, we will trust God for the healing He promises in His Word. This is a battle, and it must be engaged in by individuals, families, churches and communities. It is an all-out war against the American way of life...and “We, The People” are under attack!  Unless the Body of Christ repents and rises up in prayer, the United States will have no future.

. . . The blessing of national repentance is not only that God heals and blesses the nation, but also that a passion for His Presence is stirred up in the Body of Christ...and oh, how we need that now!  Having begun this time of 30 Days of Confession, Repentance and Prayer for the Healing of our Nation on August 31, 2021, we will conclude it by WELCOMING THE KING OF GLORY into all 50 states and territories, simultaneously, on September 29, 2021 during the feast of SIMCHAT TORAH, “The Joy of  the Torah.” As Christians, our joy is found in the Living Torah...Jesus Christ, the Word of God!

We prayerfully invite all Christian believers, from each of our 50 states and Territories, to join us in this initiative.  Like David's mighty men, let us all awaken, arise and adore our GOD… taking our stand and holding our ground!

Amen! Alleluia!

Maureen Bravo and Pastor Ioan Peia, on behalf of the 24?7 National Strategic Prayer Call family

Call in number:  712-770-4340  code: 543555 #

Please note: CHPP would like to encourage ALL of  our prayer partners to
prayerfully consider joining in this 30 Day time to identify, confess and repent for our national sins.

We will also be able to pray directly with Maureen on the evening of Monday, September 13th, when she will be the guest speaker on our national call. Thank you!

In Context
If you want to know people's priorities, look at their calendars.

Congress has a very full agenda for this month, and it may have to go to unusual lengths to make it all work. It should be a bit surprising, then, that a new issue could quickly insert itself into this mix of top legislative priorities.

While Democrats have talked about codifying the “right” to end the lives of unborn babies into the U.S. Code, the new Texas pro-life law—and judicial restraint from interference in it—has suddenly galvanized them to action.

One of the saddest news items of the week was of the midnight rush to bloodshed leading up the the law taking effect. That the killing might end is entirely unacceptable to the party that controls the Legislative and Executive Branches of the Federal government and half the country that supports them.

Their bills have been ready to go since June: S. 1975H.R. 3755. They just needed a crisis not to waste in order to put them on the floor calendar. These bills would nullify every pro-life law in the country, including the new Texas law, the Mississippi law going before the U.S. Supreme Court next term, and any other state law set to take effect if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

What if the simultaneous timing of these things is not a coincidence? What if God is near-done with American shedding of innocent blood—which He has made clear is not His idea—and is trying to get our attention, yet our leaders are digging in, burying their heads in the sand even further, to borrow a phrase Justice Sotomayor used this week.

Father, we ask that You would not allow the iniquity of the Americans to be full from polluting the land with the shedding of innocent blood. We ask that You would protect these laws in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and other states that hold sacred the lives of generations not yet born. Hold back and scatter those who would use power to promote evil.

“the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full” (Genesis 15:16).

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
