DATA: Majority Say Biden Isn't In Charge, Nor Mentally Capable.
A majority of U.S. likely voters believe Joe Biden is not actually doing the job of President of the United States, and that other people are making decisions on his behalf, according to new data from Rasmussen Reports.

The esteemed pollster shared the information with The National Pulse on Friday morning, which reveals:

  • 52 percent of likely U.S. voters believe Biden is not “physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States”;
  • 41 percent say they are “Not at all confident” in Biden’s ability to do the job, with 11 percent saying they are “not very confident”;
  • Only 32 percent said they were “very confident” that Biden has the ability to do the job of President.

With Collapse in Afghanistan, Russia Takes Charge in Central Asia
DUSHANBE, Tajikistan — As the Afghan government collapsed this week in Kabul and the United States scrambled to speed up its evacuation effort, hundreds of Russian armored vehicles and artillery pieces were clearly visible hundreds of miles away, on the border with Tajikistan.

They were part of a high-profile military exercise taking place just 12 miles from a Taliban position, and they were there, a Russian general said, to make a point.

“They are all visible,” said Gen. Anatoly Sidorov, commander of the forces involved in the exercise. “They are not hiding.”

It will now be Russia, the exercises signaled, that will be shielding Central Asia from potential violence next door.

In the long post-Soviet jostling for power and influence in Central Asia sometimes called the new Great Game, an ever more dominant player has emerged from the chaos and confusion of Afghanistan: Russia, at least in security affairs.“I wouldn’t say a wounded animal,” the Russian foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, said on Tuesday of the withdrawal of NATO and the U.S. forces from Afghanistan. “But this is a group of countries that in a very painful and difficult way is giving up on the positions in the world they were used to for many decades." Pentagon pressed on why British paratroopers leaving Kabul airport to rescue citizens but Americans aren't

The Pentagon was pressed Thursday to explain why the U.S. isn't rescuing Americans outside of the Kabul airport as the British are doing for their citizens.

At a press briefing, Fox News' Jennifer Griffin said: "General Taylor, British paratroopers are leaving the airport, going into Kabul to rescue and evacuate some of their citizens who are trapped [and] can't get to the airport because of the Taliban."

"Why isn't the U.S. doing that?" she asked.
Maj. Gen. Hank Taylor, who serves as deputy director of the Joint Staff Regional Operations, replied that the U.S.' focus was on securing Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA).

"At this time, our main mission continues to be to secure HKIA, to allow those American citizens and other SIVs to come in and be processed at the airfield."

Pentagon press secretary John Kirby was asked during the same press conference whether he knows how many Americans remain stuck in Afghanistan. He replied: "I don't know."

Earlier this week, another 1,000 paratroopers were sent to help evacuate U.S. personnel and Afghans who provided assistance during the war. (Fox News) Read more here.

Statements by President Donald J. Trump

August 19th, 2021

1, First you bring out all of the American citizens. Then you bring out ALL equipment. Then you bomb the bases into smithereens—AND THEN YOU BRING OUT THE MILITARY. You don’t do it in reverse order like Biden and our woke Generals did. No chaos, no death—they wouldn’t even know we left!

5. Biden did this to celebrate on September 11th when in actuality the celebration is our enemies and the fact that we already have the Taliban flag flying over our Obama-Biden built $1 Billion U.S. Embassy in Kabul.

6. Fake Elections have consequences, just look at the horror of Afghanistan coupled with the massive incompetence at our Southern Border!

2. Afghanistan under Biden was not a withdrawal, it was a surrender. Will he apologize for the greatest tactical mistake in history, pulling the Military out before our citizens?

3. Leaving Americans behind for death is an unforgivable dereliction of duty, which will go down in infamy.

In Context
The Senate is out until mid-September.
The House has a 2-day week scheduled.

The FDA is
expected to announce injection approval on Monday.
The end of 5 years needed for studying long-term effects is still 4 years away.

The new fiscal year is set to start October 1.
The debt ceiling is set to limit borrowing in October.

Many public and corporate conditions of employment over injections are set to take effect over the next few weeks.

The next few weeks and months could shape America for a long time to come.

As noted in the links below, there are
3 important reasons to seek the Lord about the Food and Drug Administration: drug approval and workplace mandates, FDA leadership, and abortion.

The House has passed the annual spending bills. The Senate has barely touched them. None of them have been considered on the Senate floor as the body has been busy with other work. That means the budget resolution and its related legislation may not be the only 13-digit bill Congress tries to pass. The new fiscal year starts October 1.

The United States is
currently $28.4 trillion in debt. The $22.0 trillion debt limit was suspended until August 1, 2021. The US Treasury is only allowed to “declare a ‘debt issuance suspension period’ and to take ‘extraordinary measures’ to borrow additional funds for a period of time without breaching the debt ceiling.” Democrats have dismissed any concerns about the parties not addressing the debt ceiling together. Senate Republicans have announced and reiterated their intention to leave it to the Democrats to provide the votes for the additional debt needed to finance their partisan spending.

Storm chasers know how to read clouds for impending storms. Astute observers of America's fiscal situation can see turbulent months in front of us.

What's missing throughout our national conversation is an acknowledgement of God and of His purposes in our present situation. What's needed is to seek the Lord about what our circumstances say about our relationship with Him.

“For she did not know that I gave her grain, new wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold—which they prepared for Baal.” (Hosea 2:8)

CHPP Welcomes You to Join Us Every Week in One Hour of Repentance

Sunday evening at 10:00 p.m. EDT

Dear Saints,

A lifestyle of REPENTANCE is so close to the heart of God.

Indeed, He commands us to  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matthew 3:2

How, then, can we approach His Throne of GRACE, in repentance?

We invite you to join us every week on Sunday evening, as we explore this vital topic together. We present a different prayer focus each week, leading us into repentance, so that we might approach His Throne of Grace in repentance, presenting ourselves to Him as a pure and a spotless Bride, without spot or wrinkle. (Ephesians 5:27)

Praying together, we desire to fulfill the mandate of Psalm 139:

" Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:24

You can join us, any Sunday evening, at 10:00 p.m. EST by calling:

712-770-5350
Access Code: 150411#

WELCOME!

". . . and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."
(2 Chronicles 7:14,15)
