Donald Trump: 'I Warned You' of 'Disastrous Consequences' With Biden
|
|
In a show of presidential strength, against President Joe Biden's failed Afghanistan withdrawal, former President Donald Trump delivered pointed remarks at a packed Save America rally in Cullman, Alabama, on Saturday night.
"I warned the entire country of the disastrous consequences of a Biden presidency," Trump said. "I understood; a lot of you understood it. I said Joe Biden would eliminate America's borders in the middle of a pandemic. He did. "I predicted that he would unleash a wave of violent crime that would turn our cities into a nightmare of killing and bloodshed."
"Biden failed totally on the pandemic, and he's now overseeing the greatest foreign policy humiliation in the history of the United States of America," Trump said. "This is the greatest humiliation I've ever seen. "Biden's botched exit in Afghanistan is the most astonishing display of gross incompetence by a nation's leader – perhaps at any time that anybody's ever seen. "Name another situation like this. Vietnam looks like a master class in strategy compared to Joe Biden's catastrophe."
Trump ripped Biden's avoidance of media, not taking questions, and permitting the Taliban to quickly takeover Afghanistan. "Joe Biden was going on vacation as Afghanistan was going to hell," he continued. "This is what you get when you have weakness in the White House. You can't have weakness in the White House. "They have to respect your president. When I was president, we only had strength." Trump said this "would have never have happened" if he was still president, saying the Taliban respected American military "strength."
"This is a sick culture and our country is a disaster and it's going to die before your very eyes if this craziness isn't stopped in so many ways." 1. Israel Attacks Hamas in Gaza After Violence Returns to Border - Jewish Press
Israeli aircraft struck Hamas terrorist targets in Gaza late Saturday night after a day in which hundreds of Hamas-led Gazans burned tires, hurled explosives and opened gunfire.
In one case an Israeli Border Guard officer was shot by a Gazan at point-blank range through a hole in the security wall. The IDF is also investigating, however, whether sniper fire was aimed from a distance at the position of the officer who was involved in the Israeli preparations for the riots at the border.
The wounded officer was taken by helicopter to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, where he was listed in critical condition after surviving emergency surgery, according to Channel N12 News.
Earlier this week Gaza terrorists fired a rocket at the border city of Sderot in southern Israel. The projectile was intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile system, triggered because the rocket was on a trajectory to reach a populated area. (Read more)

2. Four Hezbollah members reportedly killed in alleged Israeli Syria strike - JNS
(August 22, 2021 / JNS) Israel launched missile strikes against targets in northern Syria early on Friday, according to Reuters.
The report cited a Syrian military source as saying that the strikes originated from the direction of Beirut, and triggered Syria’s air-defense systems.
Lebanese Defense Minister Zeina Akar condemned the alleged Israeli attack, saying that it “blatantly violated Lebanon’s airspace at low altitude, causing a state of panic among citizens,” according to the report. She called on the United Nations to prevent Israel from launching airstrikes against Syria from Lebanese airspace.
Fadi Alhassan, acting general manager for Lebanon’s civil aviation authority, said that a Middle East Airlines flight from Abu Dhabi had to hold in Syrian airspace for about 10 minutes before landing in Beirut, as did a plane from Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines, due to the attack. (Read more)

3. Shaked: If Lapid promotes a Palestinian state he won't have a government - Israel National News
Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked this morning (Sunday) rejected any possibility of a political settlement that includes the establishment of a Palestinian state in the current government.
In an interview with Aryeh Golan on Reshet Bet, Shaked addressed the statements of Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid, who said in an interview with Kan News last week that he supports a two-state solution and did not rule out the possibility of such a move when he becomes prime minister. "It it happens, he will not have a government," she said.
When asked what Prime Minister Bennett would answer in his meeting with US President Joe Biden if the issue came up, Shaked explained: "He will answer that he is against a two-state solution. Our position is known, it was decided when this government was formed not to deal with this issue. Biden is also aware of the prime minister's views." (Read more)

4. Resident of southern Israel indicted for threatening to kill Prime Minister Bennett - World Israel News
The Israel Police has indicted a 45-year-old resident of Kiryat Gat in southern Israel for allegedly threatening to harm Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Israel Police reported Sunday.
According to the indictment, the threat was made last Friday, when the suspect, Andrey Gurov, called the national police dispatch line and declared that he intends “to kill Prime Minister Naftali Bennett,” leading to swift action by the dispatcher who connected the call to her supervisor.
“Already during the phone call, a police car was sent to the defendant’s location,” the indictment read. The suspect, who was found by police officers near the public telephone he used to make the call, was arrested and taken in for questioning after repeating his threats to harm the prime minister several times.
“I’m willing to die, but on my terms,” he told the arresting officers. “And I’ll take Naftali Bennett with me,” he said, adding that Bennett’s life is in danger. (Read more)

5. Pressure mounts on Bennett to Biden’s Push for Palestinian state - World Israel News
As Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett prepares to fly to Washington to meet U.S. President Joe Biden, members of his government and the Knesset are already warning that discussion of the two-state solution must not be on the table.
Two key topics are likely to be foremost on the premiers’ agenda in their meeting this Thursday: Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and Washington’s controversial proposal to open a separate Palestinian Consulate on Agron Street in Jerusalem, which has been within sovereign Israeli territory since 1949.
The move reverses the merger under the Trump administration of the U.S. consulate for Palestinians into the U.S. Embassy to Israel, which took place when the Embassy was moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
However, the proposed is being viewed as a signal that the Biden administration ultimately envisions a divided Jerusalem serving as the capital to both Israel and Palestine within a two-state solution. (Read more)

1. CNN reporter slams Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal with the perfect description - The Blaze
CNN reporter Clarissa Ward, the network's chief foreign correspondent, chose the consummate word to describe President Joe Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal as she waited to depart Kabul on Friday.
What did Ward say?
While waiting inside the Kabul airport compound for her flight to Qatar, Ward — who had become the face of on-the-ground reporting from Kabul since the Taliban overtook the city — succinctly described Biden's withdrawal as an utter "failure."
"These kids behind me, sleeping on the gravel on a piece of cardboard box, are the lucky ones because there are many others, thousands of them, just outside the perimeter," Ward began. "I saw with my own eyes the Taliban fighters beating them, mothers throwing their babies trying to get them inside the airport compound.
"It is just a picture of desperation– of failure, as well, failure to protect our allies, failure to plan for this eventuality," she proclaimed. (Read more)

2. Video: Biden Admin's John Kirby Refuses to Call Taliban the 'Enemy' - Western Journal
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby refused to refer to the Taliban as an “enemy” during a Fox News interview on Thursday, causing concern among those already angered over the Biden administration’s handling of the crisis in Afghanistan.
“Does the U.S. military consider the Taliban an enemy?” host Bret Baier asked Kirby.
“We are focused right now — the thing we’re working against right now is time and space,” Kirby said during the “Special Report” interview on Fox News.
“And we want to get as many people out of Kabul as we can in as little amount of time as we can. [We’ve] had no hostile interactions right now between American forces and the Taliban and we want to keep it that way,” he added.

3. Report: Taliban Have Begun the Process of Executing People with US Connections - Western Journal
In the chaotic aftermath of the fall of Afghanistan, a new report indicates the Taliban have begun exacting deadly revenge on Afghan citizens who opposed their rule.
Ryan Rogers, a retired Marine sergeant, told Fox News that an interpreter with whom he worked in 2010 was unable to leave the city of Kabul for the nearby airport and had witnessed retribution killings as he tried to survive.
“He told me yesterday they hung three [Afghan National Army] commanders that they had found,” Rogers said Thursday. “And that close to the place that he’s hiding, they’re going house to house and that they sent a transmission out saying they had plans for the people that operated with America.”
He said the interpreter was alive as of Thursday afternoon.
“I said, ‘Hey, did you see any of this stuff with your eyes?’ He said yes,” Rogers said.
“They’re not showing this stuff because the people are cheering, but they’re scared to death, and they’re hanging these people,” he said.
“He said they’re going house to house and their priorities are Afghan National Army Special Forces, the police special forces and the interpreters,” Rogers said. (Read more)

4. Afghanistan's Christians, small in number, have gone underground, expert says - Washington Times
The minuscule community of Christian believers in Afghanistan has gone underground in fear of their lives after the hard-line Islamic Taliban returned to power this week in Kabul, an expert on persecution in the region said this week. However, estimates suggest there are between 3,000 and 12,000 Christian believers in a nation whose population hovers around 38 million. Definitive numbers are difficult to come by, since publicly identifying as a Christian can subject an Afghan believer to beatings and death.
“There’s a lot of fear and uncertainty given the Taliban takeover of the country,” Will Stark, South Asia regional manager for International Christian Concern, an organization headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland, said in an interview. “For Afghan Christians, that’s particularly scary or concerning for them, given their status as mostly converts from Islam.”
“There’s a real concern amongst Afghan Christians that targeted killings will start happening because of their status as Christians,” Mr. Stark said. “I’ve heard reports from people I know on the ground, that they’re receiving phone calls from unknown [telephone] numbers in which they’re being told, ‘We know who you are, and we are going to come for you.’ And that’s a direct threat and likely coming from Taliban fighters or maybe the Taliban itself, that they will be targeted, because of their faith identity.”
Mr. Stark said it is “not realistic” to imagine that Afghan Christians would be able to safely escape a Taliban-controlled nation via relief flights out of Kabul. What’s worse, he said, is that the Taliban now has access to lists of Afghans who filed to change their religious identity under the previous government. They “are going to be at immediate risk,” he added, “and whatever we can do to get them out, we’ve got to try.”
The other believers will simply have to “lay low” for the time being, he added.

5. As Taliban parades captured weapons, US still trying to gauge scope of damage - Times of Israel
Washington is still attempting to gauge the scope of United States weaponry and technology that have fallen into the hands of the Taliban following Afghanistan’s fall to the militants, though it is believed to be considerable.
Materiel the Islamist group is believed to have gained includes hundreds of thousands of assault rifles, thousands of armored vehicles, dozens of aircraft, tanks, artillery, sniper rifles, night-vision goggles and much more.
Some analysts believe the capture of such vast amounts of sophisticated firepower, while representing a loss of billions of dollars in funds and embarrassing to the US, is mostly a public relations coup for the Taliban. A lack of expertise and resources will prevent the group from using the most advanced weaponry in any effective manner, they argue. (Read more)

They will not only be used against Americans, but against anyone who steps up to protect the innocent. 6. ABC News Seemingly Edited Out These Comments From Biden During Aired Afghanistan Interview - CBN
While the full transcript of ABC News host George Stephanopoulos’ interview with President Joe Biden is available online, it seems the network left some of his comments out of the aired footage.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson claimed during his Thursday evening broadcast that the sit-down with the president was edited in an attempt by ABC News to make Biden appear less “incoherent, confused.”
Stephanopoulos also asked the president, “How will history judge the United States’ experience in Afghanistan.
Biden said it will be understood that the U.S. “overextended what we needed to do to deal with our national interest.” He continued:
That’s like me sayin’ they– they’re– they– they b– b– the border of Tajikistan– and– other– what– does it matter? Are we gonna go to war because of what’s goin’ on in Tajikistan? What do you think?
Tell me what– where in that isolated country that has never, never, never in all of history been united, all the way back to Alexander the Great, straight through the British Empire and the Russians, what is the idea? Are we gonna s– continue to lose thousands of Americans to injury and death and try to unite that country? What do you think? I think not.
I think the American people are with me. And when you unite that country, what do you have? They’re surrounded by Russia in the north or the Stans in the north. You have– to the west, they have Iran. To the south, they have Pakistan, who’s supporting them. And to the– and– actually, to the east, they have Pakistan and China. Tell me. Tell me. Is that worth our national interest to continue to spend another $1 trillion and lose thousands more American lives? For what?

7. US Black Hawk Helicopters Captured by Taliban as 'Horrified' Senators Demand DOD Audit - The Epoch Times
Likely billions of dollars of American weapons and vehicles are now in the hands of the Taliban extremist group after the collapse of the Afghan government and army, with numerous videos and photos surfacing online showing Taliban members seizing the equipment.
Photos have circulated of Taliban members holding American M-4 carbines and M-16 rifles rather than AK-47s or AKMs. Other images and videos showed the Taliban surrounding U.S. Black Hawk helicopters and A-29 Super Tucano attack aircraft.
On Aug. 18, several Republican senators demanded the Department of Defense (DOD) provide full accounting over the weapons and equipment that were captured by the Taliban, considered by several agencies as a terrorist organization.
“As we watched the images coming out of Afghanistan as the Taliban retook the country, we were horrified to see U.S. equipment—including UH-60 Black Hawks—in the hands of the Taliban,” Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and two dozen other senators wrote to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin this week.
“It is unconscionable that high-tech military equipment paid for by U.S. taxpayers has fallen into the hands of the Taliban and their terrorist allies,” the Republicans added. “Securing U.S. assets should have been among the top priorities for the U.S. Department of Defense prior to announcing the withdrawal from Afghanistan.” (Read more)

8. Henri Menaces Northeast as Millions Prep for Winds, Flooding - Newsmax
Tropical Storm Henri hit the coast of Rhode Island Sunday afternoon, packing high winds that knocked out power to tens of thousands of homes and bands of rain that led to flash flooding from New Jersey to Massachusetts.
The storm was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm, but still packed wind gusts of up to 70 mph. There were few early reports of major damage due to wind or surf, but officials warned of the danger of spot flooding in inland areas over the next few days.
Millions on New York’s Long Island and in southern New England braced for the possibility of flooding, toppled trees and extended power outages. Residents up and down the coast hoped to be spared the storm’s wrath but prepared for the worst.
Driving surf and sheets of rain scoured the beach towns of southern Rhode Island as the storm approached, leaving some coastal roads nearly impassable. Some small trees had already fallen to the winds and rain, which had swollen local inlets and creeks. (Read more)

9. 22 dead, many missing after 17 inches of rain in Tennessee - Fox News
At least 22 people were killed and rescue crews searched desperately Sunday amid shattered homes and tangled debris for dozens of people still missing after record-breaking rain sent floodwaters surging through Middle Tennessee.
Saturday’s flooding in rural areas took out roads, cellphone towers and telephone lines, leaving families uncertain about whether their loved ones survived the unprecedented deluge. Emergency workers were searching door to door, said Kristi Brown, a coordinator for health and safety supervisor with Humphreys County Schools.
Many of the missing live in the neighborhoods where the water rose the fastest, Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis said. Their names were on a board in the county’s emergency center and listed on a city department’s Facebook page.
Up to 17 inches (43 centimeters) of rain fell in Humphreys County in less than 24 hours Saturday, appearing to shatter the Tennessee record for one-day rainfall by more than 3 inches (8 centimeters), the National Weather Service said. (Read more)

10. Federal Court Upholds Texas Law Banning 'Gruesome' 'Dismemberment Abortions' - Breaking Christian News
The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Wednesday reversed previous court rulings that blocked the pro-life law. Some court watchers say the case may ultimately end up before the US Supreme Court.
The 2017 law, which passed the Texas Legislature with bipartisan support has never been enforced because of legal challenges. It prohibits the use of forceps to tear the unborn baby apart limb from limb to remove from the mother's womb without first using an injected drug or a suction procedure to ensure the child is dead.
A three-judge panel from the federal court blocked enforcement of the law last year. But Texas sought and was granted a rehearing by the full court.
A majority among the 14 appellate judges who heard arguments in January sided with Texas (three of the court's 17 active judges were recused). The opinion, by judges Jennifer Walker Elrod and Don Willett, said "the record shows that doctors can safely perform D&Es and comply with SB8 using methods that are already in widespread use."
Judge James Dennis wrote a dissent on behalf of himself and judges Carl Stewart and James Graves. A separate dissent was written by Judge Stephen Higginson, joined by Gregg Costa. Dennis said the Texas law, "under the guise of regulation, makes it a felony to perform the most common and safe abortion procedure employed during the second trimester."
Texas Right to Life, a pro-life organization applauded the court's ruling. (Read more)

11. BREAKING: RINO PA Senate President Corman HIJACKS Election Audit By Firing Senator Mastriano's Staff - National File
Jake Corman, the Pennsylvania Senate President, has fired Senator Doug Mastriano’s staff in an attempt to hijack the election audit and stonewall the effort in the state. Teddy Daniels, an America First candidate for US Congress, said it appears that Corman “wants to go to war,” and has appeared to have forgotten that “he isn’t dealing with Swampy RINO politicians.”
Senator Mastriano released an update on the forensic investigation into the 2020 election this morning before his staff was fired, detailing how his efforts have been “stone walled.”

Angelina Jolie 'ashamed' of Biden's 'sickening' Afghanistan withdrawal: 'A betrayal and a failure impossible to fully understand'

Angelina Jolie started an Instagram account on Friday, and used the first post on her new platform to smash how poorly the Biden administration handled the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.
In her first post on the social media platform, the Hollywood actress declared, "It is sickening to watch Afghans being displaced yet again out of the fear and uncertainty that has gripped their country."
Jolie lamented about the money spent in Afghanistan, which is estimated to be $2.26 trillion since 2001, and the loss of life, which is believed to be approximately 170,000 casualties. . . .
Also on Friday, Jolie wrote an op-ed for Time magazine titled: "The People of Afghanistan Deserve So Much Better Than This."
"Whatever your views on the war in Afghanistan, we probably agree on one thing: it should not have ended this way," she began in her article on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. "Giving up the idea of a peace agreement between the Afghan government and the Taliban, appearing to cut and run, and abandoning our allies and supporters in the most chaotic way imaginable, after so many years of effort and sacrifice, is a betrayal and a failure impossible to fully understand."
Jolie criticized the Biden administration's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, "After all the bloodshed and effort and sacrifice and time, America seems to have lacked the will to plan this transition in a managed way. It was never going to be easy or perfect but could have been better, more decent and safer."
"As an American I am ashamed by the manner of our leaving. It diminishes us," she blasted Biden's calamitous departure. "We have lost leverage to influence what now happens in Afghanistan. We lack a strategy to monitor and support women and civil society in Afghanistan, who the Taliban have a history of targeting—banning girls from school, confining women to the home, and inflicting brutal physical punishments, including public lashing, on any woman perceived to have stepped out of line."
"Our allies are rightly upset, blaming the U.S. for a precipitate, unilateral withdrawal that missed the opportunity for any coordinated plan to preserve some of the gains made in the country," she continued, hammering Biden's withdrawal. And from our position of authority seated with Christ in heavenly places, we declare a halt to the murderous rampage of the Taliban, and we speak the SHALOM of God into the midst of the demonically driven chaos. In the authority of the Name of Jesus we dispatch the Heavenly Host that have been sent out by God to serve, accompany, and protect those innocent men, women and children who will inherit salvation.(Hebrews 1:14) In the name and power of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh (1 John 4:3), We decree that the Blood of Jesus has triumphed over and prevails against the entrenchment of all demonic forces seeking dominion in Afghanistan. We loose the Taliban from the spirit of “jihad” that seeks to annihilate Christians and incite hatred and murder. We decree that the spiritual kingdom of Babylon and the stronghold of Islam must bow to the Name, Kingdom, and Authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. FOR IT IS WRITTEN:
- (Name) “God has highly exalted (Jesus) and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…” (Philippians 2:10-11) and

- (Authority) “…and the government will be upon His shoulder” (Isaiah 9:6) for “the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King.” (Isaiah 33:22)
Then having authority with Almighty God over all that opposes Him (Luke 10:19), we take the keys to the house of David (according to Isaiah 22:22) and close the spiritual door of access used by these powers of darkness, and we declare annulled all unholy alignments and covenants against the land and people. We call the people out of the reign of darkness and death and into the Kingdom of light and truth -- out of the bondage of Islam and into the Liberty of Jesus Christ.
We declare the word of the Lord from Psalm 24 saying: “The land of Afghanistan belongs to the Lord, and all those who dwell therein.” We declare over that nation: “Be lifted up you city gates and ancient doors of Kabul and Afghanistan - so the KING OF GLORY may come in -- the LORD OF HOSTS, the LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY, the LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.” We declare that the dominion of allah and the forces of evil aligned under that stronghold are uprooted and cast out of Afghanistan, and the dominion of the Lord Jesus Christ is established!
We ask You, LORD OF HOSTS, to show Yourself Mighty - and to call forth Your warrior angels of the Heavenly Host to enforce this decree (Hebrews 1:14) and to withstand this battle in the heavenlies! (Daniel 10:13)

US Mom Flies Halfway Around the World to Rescue 10 Members of Afghan All-Girl Robotics Team

If you don't think there are any heroes who took action to save lives right before the Afghanistan debacle, think again.
An Oklahoma mother of 11 took it upon herself to rescue 10 members of Afghanistan's all-girls robotics team. She flew to Qatar earlier this month to try to get some of the girls to safety before the Taliban surprised the Biden administration by swiftly taking over the entire war-torn country.
What's even more amazing is Allison Reneau is hoping to save even more girls before the Taliban, known for their brutal treatment of women and religious minorities, have free rein to implement totalitarian Islamic sharia law.
Reneau told NBC News she "couldn't shake" the feeling that the girls were in danger while watching the news of the advancing insurgent army in early August. Deciding to try by herself, she got on an airplane headed to the Middle East where she landed in Qatar, which is still thousands of miles away from Afghanistan. But she had a friend that could help.
"I remembered my former roommate in D.C. a couple of years ago was transferred to Qatar," she explained. "She worked in the U.S. Embassy in Qatar... she was sure her boss would approve helping the girls."
"She wrote up a request, and I got all of their passports together," Reneau said. "She went back to the Embassy at midnight and worked all night to prepare the documents and packets for the girls."
"It's a very narrow window of opportunity," she told NBC News. "I knew that if I didn't run through that door now — it's now or never. Sometimes you only get one chance."
Thankfully, all 10 girls were able to make it to the American-held side of Kabul's airport and boarded a plane. (CBN)
