Vaccine Passport Legislation Fails Gets Shut Down in California as Disgraced Governor Newsom Faces Recall - Pandemic.news

Democratic lawmakers in the state of California have been working on a bill that strips individuals of their body autonomy rights and threatens their civil liberties across every aspect of society.

Traitors to their country, these California Democrats want to establish a vaccine passport system that violates the medical privacy of all, while segregating individuals who do not comply with the bondage of covid-19 mandates and the misery of never-ending inoculations and subsequent hospital visits.

California Assemblywoman Buffy Wicks, a Democrat from Oakland, has backed down from introducing a new vaccine passport system into Assembly Bill 455, after the bill’s language was leaked to the people in late August. The bill is widely unpopular with people from all political parties.

Tyrannical system of medical discrimination and segregation gets shut down

These miserable purveyors of medical tyranny are now abandoning their evil and discriminatory plans after the citizens of California spoke up and demanded FREEDOM.

The disgraced Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, supports vaccine mandates and wants to install these vaccine passports across the public and private sector. Newsom has been “quietly watching and providing technical assistance” to the lawmakers behind the tyrannical legislation. He currently faces a historic recall election, as the people of California fight back against medical tyranny.

- Abba, we thank you that this VAXX Passport Legislation in California has failed! Abba, we pray that the VAXX passport push would also fail in any other states in our country that are promoting it! We pray that you would put in a godly leader in California who would uphold the Constitution, our liberties and our freedoms.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Israel’s President Isaac Herzog Issues Holiday Greetings - algemeiner.com

Addressing not just the people of Israel, but the world’s Diaspora Jews, Israel’s President Isaac Herzog released a holiday greetings video.

“I would like to extend my warmest wishes on behalf of the State of Israel and its people for a Shana Tova, Happy New Year, to you and your loved ones,” Herzog announced, commemorating the upcoming holiday of Rosh Hashana. The celebration, which opens the new year of 5782 in the Jewish calendar, begins on the evening of September 6 in Israel.

In his speech, Herzog emphasized the dependence shared by Jewish individuals on their communities, as well as the connection between Jews within Israel and abroad, calling them his “brothers and sisters.”

“I will be praying for the well-being of my immediate family, as well as my extended family, the people of Israel, and the Jewish People at large,” he stated, wishing those “from around the world a year of health and coming together.” (Read more)

2. IDF Preparing for Gaza Strip Escalation over Rosh Hashanah - Jewish Press

The IDF is preparing for the possibility of an escalation in the Gaza Strip during Rosh Hashanah and the other Tishrei holidays and has imposed a limit on holiday furloughs. Defense apparatus officials have told the Israeli press on Sunday that every effort will be made to prevent the escalation, but “if there’s no choice, we will go to an escalation, including several days of fighting in Gaza.”

The forces at the Gaza border have been reinforced and are on high alert. The air defenses and the Iron Dome system are on alert. In addition, increased vigilance is maintained on the northern border and in Judea and Samaria. (Read more)

3. Hamas, Israel reportedly close to reaching prisoner swap - Jerusalem Post

Egypt is exerting immense pressure on Hamas and Israel to reach a prisoner-exchange agreement, Palestinian and Egyptian sources said Sunday.

The Egyptians hope such a deal would pave the way for a long-term truce between Israel and Hamas, the sources said.

Some progress has been achieved toward reaching a prisoner swap, according to unconfirmed reports in a number of Palestinian and Egyptian media outlets over the past few days. (Read more)

4. PA slams Israel for opposing US consulate in Jerusalem - Jerusalem Post

The Palestinian Authority on Sunday condemned Israel for opposing the reopening of the US Consulate in Jerusalem, which had previously served as a de facto diplomatic mission to the Palestinians.

The PA repeated its call to the US administration to immediately reopen the consulate.

Last Friday, PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh urged the US to fulfill its promises to the Palestinians and speed up the reopening of the consulate.

“We think it’s a bad idea,” Foreign Minister Yair Lapid told reporters last week in response to the US plan to reopen the consulate. “Jerusalem is the sovereign capital of Israel and Israel alone, and therefore we don’t think it’s a good idea.” (Read more)

5. Elazar Stern aims to promote Jewish unity, identity and solidarity in Diaspora - JNS
“Israel is your home away from home,” Israeli President Isaac Herzog said in a message on Sept. 2, ahead of the Jewish New Year. His address was aimed at “the people of Israel and the Jewish people at large,” which he referred to as his “extended family.” Herzog was previously head of the Jewish Agency for Israel, where, as one of his stated objectives, he worked to provide a platform for all Jewish communities around the world.

Today, the Jewish Agency’s top position has yet to be filled, and the successful candidate will need to bridge the broad and ever-growing divide that exists between Israeli and Diaspora Jewry. The challenge will likely lie in the ability to focus on the few shared common denominators and not on the myriad differences. (Read more)

1. Why were Israel and the US not invited to the Baghdad conference? - Jerusalem Post

The Baghdad conference held on Saturday, August 28, was unusual in terms of both venue and participants. The venue was Baghdad, the host was Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, and participants included the leaders of France, Egypt, Jordan and Qatar, and foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait and Turkey.

The event sought to accomplish two goals: one, more limited, was to bolster Iraq’s stability; the other, broader, to strengthen regional stability. Syria, Lebanon and Yemen, which have become battlefields for some of these actors, were not invited to the event. Its timing, at the height of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, was surely no coincidence. It reflected the growing understanding by the states of the region that they can no longer rely on US involvement and must now fend for themselves.

The convening of the conference points to several important developments in the Middle East. The first relates to the host, Iraq, which is positioning itself as a regional mediator. Iraq, we should remember, has not played a significant role in the region since the early 1990s, when it was boycotted over Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait. What is more, the 2003 US takeover of Iraq, the “crowning” of the Shi’ites majority, and the outbreak of civil war turned Iraq into a pariah in the largely Sunni Arab world. . .

The second development relates to the formation and strengthening of a trilateral alliance among Iraq, Jordan and Egypt. Since 2019, the leaders and foreign ministers of these three states have met at least five times, with their talks focusing on stronger economic and security cooperation, including shared energy and power projects (for example, hooking up Iraq to the Jordanian grid to reduce its reliance on Iran, exporting Iraqi oil through Aqaba, and establishing a free trade zone). . .  (Read more)

- Almighty God, bless with abundant blessings Israel and the US, as separated from the dark sinister world of the Islamic nations who reject God.  Strengthen Israel and the US to honor the almightiness of the Lord God, so that they will forever stand under the cloud of almighty God.

- "Now know I that the Lord saves His anointed: He will hear Him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand."  (Psalm 20:6)

2. Ida death toll nears 50 as flooding pounds Northeast states; 25 dead in New Jersey, 6 missing - Christian Post

Nearly 50 people across multiple states have died due to flooding and extreme weather conditions in the Northeast United States caused by heavy rainfall from the remains of Hurricane Ida.

In New Jersey, at least 25 people have died, most of whom were caught in their vehicles by the flooding, Gov. Phil Murphy said Friday morning. The Garden State has the most loss of life from the storm that made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday and moved northward over the week.

The extreme weather from the storm system has resulted in fatalities in Connecticut, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana. According to The Associated Press, the death toll rose to 49 throughout the Northeast on Friday.

Murphy said on the "TODAY" show Friday morning that at least six people are missing across the state and expects that the death toll in his state will likely increase.  "While the weather may be good and while the floodwaters may have receded, we are still not out of the woods," he said. "We still have a lot of damage that we are dealing with; we still have floodwaters that are significantly higher than normal. ... We are still in this thing. Folks need to take this seriously. We mourn the loss of those lives," Murphy added. "We are going to clean up. We are going to stay together. We'll get back on our feet, but it may be a long road."  (Read more)

- Father in heaven, we sympathize with the families who have lost loved ones during Ida.  God, we pray You send holy angels to minister to those who live in the Northeast United Sates and open their hearts to receive the comforting touch of the Lord's presence.  Meet their needs as they turn to the Lord for help and as they support each other to stay strong.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "We are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.  Save, Lord: let the King hear us when we call."  (Psalm 20:8-9)

3. Texas judge temporarily shields clinics from anti-abortion group lawsuits - The Guardian
A Texas judge temporarily shielded abortion clinics from lawsuits by an anti-abortion group under a new state law, in a narrow ruling handed down on Friday. The temporary restraining order from state district judge Maya Guerra Gamble in Austin, in response to a Planned Parenthood request, does not interfere with the law. However, it shields clinics from whistleblower lawsuits by the nonprofit group Texas Right to Life, its legislative director and 100 unidentified individuals.

A hearing on a preliminary injunction request was set for 13 September.

The new Texas law, which took effect on Wednesday after the conservative-dominated US supreme court declined to block it, allows anyone anywhere to sue anyone connected to an abortion in which cardiac activity was detected in the embryo: as early as six weeks into a pregnancy, before most women even realize they are pregnant.

In a petition filed late on Thursday, Planned Parenthood said about 85% to 90% of people who obtain abortions in Texas are at least six weeks into pregnancy. In her ruling, Judge Guerra Gamble said the new Texas law, known as SB8, “creates a probable, irreparable and imminent injury … for which plaintiffs and their physicians, staff and patients throughout Texas have no adequate remedy at law if plaintiffs, their physicians and staff are subjected to private enforcement lawsuits against them”.

Elizabeth Graham, vice-president of Texas Right to Life, said: “We expect an impartial court will dismiss Planned Parenthood’s lawsuit. Until then, we will continue our diligent efforts to ensure the abortion industry fully follows” the new law. (Read more)

- Father God, we trust You to limit the number of abortion cases that kill babies in the womb.  God, through the Blood of Jesus, bind the mindset of murder in the minds of the mothers and medical assistants who attempt abortion.  Untold billions will stand before the judgment seat of God and reap the sin of abortion. Reverse this curse, Lord God.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man."  (Psalm 108:12 )

4. 'Say Their Names' Since Pelosi Won't: These Are the 13 US Service Members Killed in the Kabul Airport Terror Attack  - Breaking Christian News

Republican Representatives had requested to be able to do so, as well as to present legislation regarding the situation in the Middle East country now taken over by the Taliban. However, Pelosi "just closed the House down," reported Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) in an article on Breitbart.

Congressman Greg Steube tweeted, "House Democrats just refused to recognize Republican veterans on the House Floor to read the names of our fallen Service Members in Afghanistan. That's how far our nation has fallen."

Their names are: Staff Sgt. Darin T. Hoover, Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, Sgt. Nicole L. Gee, Cpl. Hunter Lopez, Cpl. Daegan W. Page, Cpl. Humberto A. Sanchez, Lance Cpl. David L. Espinoza, Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum, Lance Cpl. Dylan R. Merola, Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, Navy Hospital Corpsman Max Soviak, Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we bring Nancy =Pelosi before the living God as remuneration for her services as Speaker of the House.  We ask that you relocate her to a country of like passions.  We pray that the lives of these 13 US Service Members be honored with The Medal of Honor, who distinguished themselves through conspicuous gallantry and intrepid courage at the risk of their lives above and beyond the call of duty.  God, we pray You honor their sacrifice with the honor and compassion of our living God in heaven.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked."  (Proverbs11:11)
5. Taliban spokesperson warns US not to interfere with their culture, treatment of women - Fox News

A Taliban spokesperson insisted to Fox News on Friday that "there will be no issue about women’s rights" following the militant group’s takeover of Afghanistan, despite widespread international concerns. But Suhail Shaheen also said he opposes Western views that "women should have an education without [a] hijab." "That is a change of culture," he said. "Our culture... they can receive education with hijab. They can work with hijab."

When asked about future relations with the U.S., Shaheen said, "We should be focusing how can we work together in a positive and constructive way which is in the best of interest of both sides. There will be no issue about the women’s rights. No problem about their education, their work," he added. "But we should not be after changing each other’s culture as we are not intending to change your culture, you should not be changing our culture."

Shaheen also described the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan as the closure of one chapter in the country’s history.  "We have closed one chapter. For us it was occupation. We ended that, we were staging resistance," he told Fox News. "But now it is closed. It is the past. We have to focus on the future that is better for them and for us." (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that Your insistence upon the Taliban to return all Americans back to the United States, whether adults or children, be pressed upon them to the highest degree.  Lord, speak over the Afghans Your Word which carries great power and commands obedience, to release all Americans and Christians.  They are placing a curse upon their own country by disobeying the Word of God.  Minister to anyone who will listen to Your voice.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "A merciful man does good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubles his own flesh."   (Proverbs 11:17)

6. Oregon Police and Firefighters Sue Governor Over COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate - Epoch Times

A coalition of Oregon police officers and firefighters have sued Gov. Kate Brown over a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for state employees. The plaintiffs—including the Oregon Fraternal Order of Police and the Kingsley Firefighters Association—argued in a lawsuit filed Friday in a Jefferson County court that Brown’s executive order violates a number of laws and want it blocked.

“Plaintiffs seek an order declaring EO No. 21-29 is unenforceable because it conflicts with Oregon statutes, would result in a common law wrongful discharge of the Plaintiffs, conflicts with the Oregon Constitution’s guarantee of free expression, and conflicts with the United States Constitution guarantee of equal protection, free exercise, and due process,” the complaint states.

Brown issued an executive order on Aug. 13 that imposed a mandatory vaccine requirement on all executive branch employees. In the order, Brown said that, to date, around 70 percent of the state’s executive branch employees had taken the vaccine voluntarily, prompted in part by state efforts like organizing onsite vaccine clinics and financial incentives. Citing the rise in COVID-19 infections and noting that both private and public employers across the United States have imposed mandates, Brown said it was time for tougher measures in Oregon. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for Your protection to be over all people in Oregon to be loosed from this mandate by Gov. Brown.  We pray the many variables of the people be protected by the Lord and this mandate be overruled by the courts.  Block this mandate by Your power to set things in order for the benefit of the people.  We pray in Jesus' Name.

- "How forcible are right words; but what does your arguing reprove?  (Job 6:25)

7. NYC Teachers Union to Take Legal Action Against Call for Layoffs of Unvaccinated Staff - The Epoch Times
The United Federation of Teachers (UFT) is resisting full compliance with New York City’s vaccine mandate for public school teachers and staffers. Michael Mulgrew, president of UFT, said city hall has asserted that unvaccinated staffers will be taken off the payroll without exception, including those with religious and medical exemptions. “The city, however, announced during our negotiations its intentions to refuse to honor medical and religious exemptions for Department of Education (DOE) staff from COVID-19 vaccination,” Mulgrew said in a statement directed to UFT members.

The union is going to try to arbitrate the impasse together with other labor groups.

“Its proposed policy states that staff with medical issues can stay on the payroll until their sick days are exhausted and then go on unpaid leave, while staff with religious objections would immediately go on unpaid leave. In both cases, those on leave would lose not only their pay but also their health insurance,” he said. He further noted that the “no exceptions mandate” for all the members of the Department of Education violates federal and state law, as well as their contract.

The UFT has declared an impasse in negotiations, and at the same time, the Municipal Labor Committee (MLC) has recommended to its general members that the MLC take legal action to challenge the city Department of Health’s power to mandate the shots. “With the first day of school fast approaching, we are as frustrated as you are with the mayor’s perpetually last-minute announcements and late planning. We assure you that we are working to get as many answers for you about this upcoming school year as soon as possible. We will be keeping you informed via email about the latest developments and updates on safety, instructional plans, and more,” Mulgrew said. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray the continual rules and regulations regarding the Covid-19 virus be put to rest.  We ask that there be healing in the air over America by the power of the Holy Spirit and deliverance will be experienced nationwide.  We serve a great God, and we call upon Your great Name to deliver our nation from the affects of this virus curse.  Thanks be unto our mighty God.  In Jesus' great Name.

-  "Who Jesus own self bare our sins in His own body on the Cross, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed."  (I Peter 2:24)

8. FDA resignations over White House booster shot guidance a 'mess for administration' - Fox News

Reports that Food and Drug Administration officials plan to step down over the White House’s COVID-19 booster shot guidance have created a "mess" for the Biden administration, according to Dr. Mark Siegel.

In a statement on Tuesday, the FDA said that Marion Gruber, director of the agency’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review, and her deputy director, Phil Krause, will leave in October and November, respectively.

Siegel told "America’s Newsroom" that the seeming clash between the FDA and the White House has created "a mess for the administration."

"There’s a lot of confusion, there’s a lot of finger pointing … this is a mess for the administration right now," Siegel said.

Siegel acknowledged that studies out of Israel indicate a significant reduction to the spread of the virus, but that the "confusion" between the White House and health officials have complicated matters.

"It’s a combination of things where the messaging is coming out of the White House and not of the FDA, and also out of the NIH with Tony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins has said, ‘Hey, we might have the vaccines for the 5 to 11 year olds in a couple of months’ … well, FDA hasn’t reviewed the data yet," Siegel explained. "And with the boosters, the president himself said, ‘We’re going to get boosters in a month,’ and the FDA says, ‘Wait, we haven’t reviewed the data yet.’" (Read more)

- Father God, we commit to prayer all the confusion regarding the booster shot guidance and pray that everything will be now committed to God to straighten things out according to Your will.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "The foolishness of man perverts his way: and his heart frets against the Lord."  (Proverbs 19:3)

9.  More flooding likely in Ida-ravaged Northeast this week - Accuweather.com

Residents across the Northeast still recovering from the disastrous impacts caused by Tropical Rainstorm Ida last week should be on alert for showers and thunderstorms that could trigger additional flooding this week.

After Ida produced historic and deadly flooding, as well as severe weather, across the Northeast last week, rather benign conditions followed in the area for several days. While some locations received a brief period of rain over the weekend and at the start of this week, generally dry conditions are likely to follow Ida into Tuesday.

At least 50 deaths were blamed on the former hurricane from Connecticut to Virginia, according to The Associated Press, as it unleashed torrential rainfall that inundated basement apartments in New York City, caused homes to collapse in New Jersey and put a major highway underwater in Philadelphia.

An end to the rather uneventful stretch of weather is coming for the middle of the week, AccuWeather meteorologists warn. The same cold front that will produce severe weather across the Great Lakes on Tuesday will shift into the Northeast on Wednesday and deliver rounds of stormy weather. (Read more)

Father God, we ask for Your mercy to be shown all the people who live in the path of this stormy weather that is to come next week.  We trust that many hearts will be drawn toward You, Lord, and they begin to pray asking God for help.  Through all of this tornadic weather, we pray for God's protection over the people and their homes.  In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "The angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivers them."  (Psalm 34:7)

10. Heavy rain to douse southern US as tropical development risk persists - Accuweather.com

An area of disturbed weather forecast to drift northward over the Gulf of Mexico has the potential to develop into an organized tropical system and produce torrential downpours to part of the storm-ravaged Gulf Coast region this week.

The good news for Gulf Coast residents recovering from Hurricane Ida is that another powerful hurricane does not appear likely to develop. Unfortunately, flooding downpours are expected for some of the hardest-hit regions whether or not a new tropical depression or storm takes shape.

Flash flood watches were in effect Monday for parts of Louisiana including around New Orleans and Houma. More than 495,000 customers remained without power in the state eight days after Ida's landfall, according to PowerOutage.US.

A broad area of disorganized clouds, showers and thunderstorms, dubbed Invest 91L, has been bubbling up and dissipating through Sunday near southeastern Mexico and the southern Gulf of Mexico. More grouping of the shower and thunderstorm activity was apparent on satellite imagery on Monday. (Read more)

- Father God, this hurricane season is not yet over, so our "season" of watching on the wall in intercession over each developing system continues. Thank You, Father God, that as You speak to the wind and the waves to obey You, You allow all of us to partner in payer with You. We speak to this developing system now and command it, in Your name, to decrease in strength and to go out to sea. Amen and amen.

Pelosi plans vote for abortion rights bill as states eye Texas-style ban

After the U.S. Supreme Court allowed a Texas law banning abortions after six weeks gestation to remain in effect, Democrats are seeking to codify abortion rights into federal law while leaders of other states are looking to follow Texas’ lead. Senate Bill 8 went into effect in Texas Wednesday and bans abortions after a baby's heartbeat is detected, usually around six weeks gestation. The law also allows private citizens to file lawsuits against abortionists or anyone who aids in an illegal abortion.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle at the state and local level are vowing to take action after the Supreme Court declined to block the law from taking effect. The court did not weigh in on the law's constitutionality, and litigation in the lower courts is likely to continue.

In a statement Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., slammed SB 8 as being “the most extreme, dangerous abortion ban in half a century,” adding, “this ban necessitates codifying Roe v. Wade.” Pelosi announced that upon returning from recess, “the House will bring up Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Women’s Health Protection Act to enshrine into law reproductive health care for all women across America.”

If enacted, the Women’s Health Protection Act would prevent states from instituting health and safety standards such as ensuring that women seeking an abortion are seen in-person by an abortion doctor. The Act would increase the use of DIY abortions and so-called “abortion services via telemedicine.” It would also prohibit states from banning abortions before and after "fetal viability," thus allowing late-term abortion. ” . . . “Congressional action is necessary to put an end to harmful restrictions, to federally protect access to abortion services for everyone regardless of where they live, and to protect the ability of health care providers to provide these services in a safe and accessible manner,” the bill reads. “Abortion services are essential to health care and access to those services is central to people’s ability to participate equally in the economic and social life of the United States," it adds.

The Women’s Health Protection Act has secured the support of 193 of the 220 Democrats in the House. It's expected to pass the lower chamber, given the Democrats’ narrow majority, but faces an uphill climb to pass in the Senate, where most legislation requires 60 votes to pass. Democrats have a 50-50 majority in the upper chamber, with Vice President Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote.

While congressional Democrats seek to codify abortion rights into federal law, lawmakers in other states are looking to pass laws similar to SB 8. Wilton Simpson, the president of the Republican-led Florida state Senate, told the Tampa-based WFLA that “there is no question” the Florida legislature will consider passing a law similar to SB 8. “It’s something we’re already working on,” he told the news outlet. (Read more)   Source: Christian Post

- Gracious Father, we pray You will move upon the hearts of the ungodly governing leaders who have the legal right to dictate whether a baby is allowed to live or be killed in the womb.  We bind by the Word of God this evil spirit that contemplates murdering the innocent babies.  Five times God says "the murderer shall surely be put to death."  Case settled.  In Jesus' Name we pray.

- "And if he smite him with an instrument of iron (scapel), so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death."  (Numbers 35:16)

Catastrophic supervolcano eruption may be
much more likely than previously thought
Event could affect global climate to the point of ‘tipping the earth into a volcanic winter’, resulting in ‘famine and population disruption’

Suprvolcano eruptions appear to be much more likely than previously thought

A catastrophic supervolcano eruption – one that would result in a global death toll – is much more likely than previously believed, a new study suggests.

Around 20 such volcanos that scientists had believed to be semi-dormant may in fact pose a present risk, the research says.

Until now, it had been widely thought that the likelihood of a blow-out was dependent on the presence of liquid magma under a volcano.

But the new research – coordinated by Oregan State University in the US, and carried out in collaboration with scientists from across the world – found evidence that eruptions can occur even if no liquid magma is found.

Seven Soldiers Spontaneously Baptized in 'Makeshift Tub' at California Base

When seven soldiers said they wanted to get baptized, the military chaplains at Fort Irwin in California made it happen.

News of the spontaneous baptism was first shared in a Facebook post Monday morning by the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division.

"With no chapel or equipment to facilitate, our chaplains came together and created a makeshift tub at the National Training Center/Fort Irwin and got the job done"...

At press time, the Army’s post had been shared more than 30,000 times, received nearly 8,000 reactions, and had almost 1,000 comments.

“This is absolutely amazing!” wrote one Facebook user. “Makes my heart happy! Thank you, chaplains, what a blessing! Welcome to the family of God! Thank you for our troops! God bless each and every one of you! I pray God’s protection around you all!”

Another added, “This is awesome! Best decision they will ever make.”

“So happy for new brothers and sisters in Christ,” commented someone else. “Thank you for all your service. There is no greater joy than putting on the armor of God!” (Breaking Christian News) Read more here.

This is day twenty one in our journey. Join us even if you are beginning today. Each day starting Saturday August 7 we have posted a sin which the Lord would have us confess and remove through personal repentance. God willing, these 40 days will lead us to the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur September 15.

Today the sin is accuser of the brethren.

There's a SPIRITUAL DROUGHT in every nation on the planet. We are not yet honoring the Authority of the Risen Christ that He revealed in Matthew 28:18: " ALL authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."

Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling

Words and Music: Will Thompson

Scripture: He’s calling you! Mark 10:49

Lyrics:
Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.

Refrain
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,
Pleading for you and for me?
Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,
Mercies for you and for me?

Refrain

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,
Passing from you and from me;
Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,
Coming for you and for me.

Refrain

O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
