Workers Who Maintain Supply Chains Warn of Worldwide ‘System Collapse'
|
|
Several industry groups have warned world leaders of a worldwide supply-chain “system collapse” due to pandemic restrictions, coming as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell suggested that the current period of higher inflation will last until 2022.
The International Chamber of Shipping, a coalition of truck drivers, seafarers, and airline workers, has warned in a letter to heads of state attending the United Nations General Assembly that governments need to restore freedom of movement to transportation workers amid persistent COVID-19 restrictions and quarantines.
If nothing is done, they warned of a “global transport system collapse” and suggested that “global supply chains are beginning to buckle as two years’ worth of strain on transport workers take their toll,” according to the letter. It was signed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Road Transport Union (IRU), and the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), which represent some 65 million transport workers around the world. 1. Biden said to reject meeting with Abbas during UN General Assembly - Times of Israel
US President Joe Biden reportedly rejected a request from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to meet last week on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Citing US and Palestinian sources, the Axios news site reported Wednesday that Abbas and his aides inquired about the prospect of a meeting with Biden when considering whether to attend the annual gathering.
The Palestinians were told by the White House that Biden wouldn’t hold any bilateral meetings while in New York and was also unavailable to meet in Washington, according to the report, which said this message contributed to Abbas’s decision not to address the General Assembly in person and instead speak remotely by video.(Read more)

3. Israel Preparing to Vaccinate Children Concurrent with FDA Approval - Jewish Press
The Israeli government is preparing for a vaccination campaign for children following the anticipated US Food and Drug Administration’s approval. The plan is to start vaccinating children ages 5 to 11 soon after the approval by the US regulatory agency.
Pfizer and BioNTech announced on Tuesday that they had submitted their data to the FDA showing that their coronavirus vaccine is safe and effective in children ages 5 to 11. Similar requests are expected to be filed with European health regulators as well as other countries.
Dr. Albert Bourla, Pfizer’s chief executive, said the FDA “should take as much time as they think is appropriate for them,” stating that “it’s not appropriate for me to comment how long the FDA would take to review the data.”
Last week, Pfizer and BioNTech announced their clinical trial with more than 2,200 participants aged 5 to 11 showed favorable results. Dr. Peter Marks, the FDA’s top vaccine regulator, the agency would analyze the data as soon as possible, and that barring “surprises,” it would authorize vaccinating children over 5 in “a matter of weeks, not months.”
A senior Israeli healthcare official told Kan 11 News that in the coming days there will be a significant jump in booster immunization due to the change in the Green Tag policy as of October 3. He estimated that hundreds of thousands of Israelis who were not vaccinated in the third dose would do so. (Read more)

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday announced the appointment of Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar as the next commander of the Israeli Air Force.
Bar is slated to replace IAF chief Maj. Gen. Amikam Norkin.

5. Sullivan begins Mideast visit, Israeli counterpart headed to US next week - Israel Hayom
National security adviser's talks in the region include meetings with Egyptian, Saudi and UAE officials.
President Joe Biden's national security adviser held talks Wednesday with Egypt's president that focused on regional tensions and the ties between Washington and its Mideast ally, the Egyptian leader's office said.
The Biden administration is leaning heavily on Egypt, which has long played a role as mediator between Israel and Hamas, for help in maintaining stability in the region even as it presses Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi to stop his crackdown on dissent.
Sullivan plans to follow up on the Egypt talks during a meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Eyal Hulata, next week in Washington, National Security Council spokesperson Emily Horne said.
Egypt brokered a ceasefire after an 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas erupted in May.
Sullivan had already planned visits to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for talks focused on finding an end to the war in Yemen. Read more)

1. House aligns with Senate and votes to avoid government shutdown with short-term funding bill - Fox News
The House joined the Senate on Thursday to approve a bill to fund the government through Dec. 3 and avert a government shutdown for now.
The House voted 254-175 and the bill will now head to President Biden's desk.
It's one of several political issues being followed closely by the markets, which have fallen Thursday amid uncertainty about the passage of a bipartisan infrastructure bill and President Biden's $3.5 trillion spending package.
Sixty-five senators voted in favor of the short-term funding bill, which did not include a provision to raise the debt ceiling. Thirty-five no votes were not enough to sink the bill, which needed 60 votes to pass. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said that the U.S. could run out of money to pay its bills by Oct. 18 if the debt limit is not raised.
"This vote says we are keeping the government open," said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer ahead of the vote, calling it a "glimmer of hope."
Now the House has until midnight to send it to Biden's desk before the close of the federal government's fiscal year. (Read more)

As Democrats forge ahead with unilateral negotiations on President Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending package, Republicans – and at least one Democratic moderate – caution the expansive slate of social programs included in the bill could have lasting negative consequences for American workers.
The $3.5 trillion spending bill includes many social initiatives championed by progressives, including an extension of monthly child tax credit payments, universal pre-K, free college tuition, paid family leave and expanded child care. Biden and progressive backers say the slate will create a more inclusive economy that will provide new opportunities for low- and middle-income families.
. . . critics say Biden’s social spending programs will effectively create a "welfare state" that will hurt the ongoing U.S. economic recovery and expand the government's influence over workers. Susan Collins, R-Maine, made the case during a floor speech earlier this week, arguing Biden’s "expensive entitlement programs" will "break the connection between work and a brighter future."
"We will not build a more prosperous, just and equitable society characterized by opportunity, dignity and meaning just by issuing government checks," Collins said. 3. We Are On The Verge Of The Greatest Shortage Of Healthcare Workers In U.S. History – The Economic Collapse Blog
It didn’t have to be this way. After sacrificing so much over the past couple of years, thousands of heroes of the COVID pandemic are now being forced to make a heartbreaking choice. Either they will have to violate very deeply held convictions and beliefs, or they will have to give up their careers. The way that our healthcare workers are being treated is utterly shameful, and it is a stain on this nation that will not soon be erased. And thanks to these “mandates”, the next time you go to the hospital the lack of workers may mean that you don’t get the treatment that you desperately need.
Of course countless numbers of healthcare workers have been faithful to keep showing up for work day after day throughout this entire crisis, and now thousands upon thousands of them are being ruthlessly discarded. Mandates that have been instituted by major healthcare providers, state governments and the federal government are going to force the firing of countless numbers of COVID pandemic heroes.

4. Food shortages are widespread and have gotten worse during the pandemic – Pandemic.news
The supply chain crisis being faced by supermarkets is far worse than indicated by mainstream media. While many insist on “temporary” shortages, an industry insider has revealed that things are worse than expected. According to the unnamed insider, things are as bad as he’s ever seen, saying that he has “never seen anything close to what is happening now.”
In an email, the insider said that his supplier has limited orders for about a month. Meat pricing is “fair” but the prices have skyrocketed. Despite ordering normal quantities, suppliers are usually unable to completely fulfill the orders. Shortages are widespread, and it has gotten worse during the entire pandemic.
Other types of retailers are facing severe supply shocks as well, for instance, prescription drugs are in short supply. In the first half of 2021, many optimistic economists have assured people that the U.S. economy would be booming by the second half. Instead, the economic infrastructure is being shaken on a very basic level, with most of the country facing enormous price hikes and shortages. Food shortages are linked to lack of truck drivers. Back on September 1st, we published this story on ANP titled "'Operation Starfall' Introduced By Republicans In Congress Warns Of 'Rogue Regimes Shutting Down The Internet' And 'Tyrants Shutting Off The Lights'" within which we reported a bill was introduced in Congress to 'guarantee' internet access, specifically referencing 'rogue tyrannical regimes' as one of the reasons why the bill was put forth.
Reporting that one of the main reasons such 'regimes' shut down the internet was to prevent the free flow of information, imagine waking up one morning to find yourself unable to access your email account, nor any other website for that matter, at first believing it was one of those normal connection 'glitches' that pop up from time to time, prior to learning it was something a bit more dire. Still believing that, 'like normal', your connection would soon come back, you begin to notice other 'glitches' in your home as well, such as your phones not working and your normally trustworthy electricity now spotty, seemingly having a 'ghost in the machine'.
As Live Science had reported of this study, "an 'Internet apocalypse' could ride to Earth with the next solar storm" with new research warning "the underwater cables that connect nations could go offline for months". Absolutely a 'catastrophic event' to our way of life, here in America, such an 'event' would play right into the hands of those now blatantly censoring information that goes against the 'official narrative', at a time when the 'great reset' the globalists are pushing upon America and the world is accelerating into global tyranny. 6. Arizona AG Brnovich Confirms His Office is Investigating Election Fraud Claims – Resist the Mainstream
Arizona’s Attorney General Mark Brnovich has confirmed that his office will continue to investigate allegations of election fraud in the 2020 election.
In a letter, Brnovich asked Maricopa County to preserve materials related to the 2020 election for an investigation and possible litigation over how the county administered the contest.
“The letter directs the county to preserve paper documents, electronic communications, election equipment and data stored on them, voter registration forms, and more. It also said the litigation hold extends to all county employees, contractors, vendors, and anyone “directly or indirectly involved in any aspect” of managing the election,” the Washington Examiner reported.
“The Arizona Senate’s report that was released on Friday raises some serious questions regarding the 2020 election. Arizonans can be assured our office will conduct a thorough review of the information we receive,” Brnovich said. (Read more)

7. Texas Conducting Audit Of 2020 Election Results – Zerohedge
The Texas Secretary of State’s office is carrying out a forensic audit of 2020 election results in four large counties, including Dallas and Harris counties. The office announced the audit last week but declined to provide more details.
Phase one of the review is already underway,
the office says. This phase involves verifying the accuracy of voting machines, assessing cybersecurity, and pinpointing and removing from voter rolls any people who cast votes illegally in 2020.
State officials have received reports from the Electronic Registration Information Center regarding voters who may have voted twice or who illegally voted in Texas despite living in another state. In addition, officials have identified votes they say were potentially cast by non-U.S. citizens and alerted counties to review each case. Once that’s done, any instances of possible illegal voting will be referred to the state Attorney General’s Office for investigation.
Phase two of the audit, estimated to take place in the spring of next year, is centered on examining the election records from various counties, including Tarrant and Collins counties. (Read more)

9. Lying Through Their Teeth: Health Officials Know Vaccines Don’t Stop Transmission but Talk About ‘A Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’ – Global Research
On July 29 the Washington Post ran an article titled “‘The war has changed’: Internal CDC document urges new messaging, warns delta infections likely more severe.”
As one would expect, the article did not receive much traction or exposure.
Needless to say, it is difficult to overstate the importance of the information contained in that piece. The article references an internal CDC slide presentation which summarizes preliminary data that the agency had in its possession but which it refuses to honestly share with the American public.
According to the Washington Post writers, this CDC document
“cites a combination of recently obtained, still-unpublished data from outbreak investigations and outside studies showing that vaccinated individuals infected with delta may be able to transmit the virus as easily as those who are unvaccinated.” [emphasis added]
In other words, as far as the transmission of the prevalent delta variant is concerned, it does not matter whether one is vaccinated or not. According to CDC analysis both groups appear to become infected and infect others at the same rate.

12. Pelosi's bishop calls for massive 'campaign of prayer and fasting' for 'her conversion of heart' on abortion - Fox News
The archbishop of San Francisco is calling for a "massive and visible campaign of prayer and fasting" for the conversion of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's heart as she pursues what pro-lifers have called "radical" abortion legislation.
"Witness the House of Representatives’ passage of HR 3755, which would impose abortion on demand nationwide at any stage of pregnancy," Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone said of the California Democrat in a statement Wednesday.
"A conversion of heart of the majority of our congressional representatives is needed on this issue, beginning with the leader of the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I am therefore inviting all Catholics to join in a massive and visible campaign of prayer and fasting for Speaker Pelosi: commit to praying one rosary a week and fasting on Fridays for her conversion of heart."
Last week, House Democrats passed the bill Cordileone referred to with a 218-211 vote. Pelosi previously defended the bill, titled the Women's Health Protection Act, after Cordileone described it as "child sacrifice." "The archbishop of the city of that area, of San Francisco, and I had a disagreement about who should decide this [family size and timing]," she said. "I believe that God has given us a free will to honor our responsibilities."
The Catholic Catechism teaches that humans ought to use their free will to reject sin, of which abortion is included. The section of the Catechism discussing abortion says the procedure and infanticide "are abominable crimes." (Read more)

Big Vaccine Misinformation

Vaccine misinformation is a big topic these days. So big that big pharma, big media and big government are taking big steps to censor anybody who challenges their big narrative. Google-owned YouTube is removing and prohibiting content that claims commonly used vaccines, including COVID vaccines, approved by health authorities are ineffective or dangerous. These specifically target Robert Kennedy, Jr. and Dr. Joseph Mercola, both highly critical of the COVID vaccines and the protocols the groupthink medical industry are using to treat COVID. Problem here is that these men are raising concerns from credible research that the big mainstream refuses to acknowledge or consider.
Even Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Health and Human Services, pumped the brakes on COVID vaccines. He told Christian Broadcasting Network: “When we start opening ourselves to government officials saying ‘you must do this,’ ‘you can’t do this,’ ‘you must say this,’ ‘you can’t say that,’ you really are starting to fundamentally change the foundation of our nation. And we have to be very much aware that that is a big issue. And you couple that with the fact that you’re trying to mandate something that hasn’t been fully proven. We don’t know what the long-term impact of this vaccine is, especially when you are dealing with children. We do know when you are dealing with children, you don’t have a high risk from the virus itself. But we don’t know what the long-term risks of the vaccines are. 1. Snuck into the government funding bill, or CR, the Democrats are trying to pass, and just found, is unlimited money to random, unscreened, unvetted Afghan nationals. Republicans can't let this happen. This is a further insult after Biden's humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan, that needlessly killed 13 Americans.
This is not a “clean” government funding bill. It’s a major immigration rewrite that allows Biden to bring anyone he wants from Afghanistan for the next year—no vetting, no screening, no security—and fly them to your community with free welfare and government-issued IDs. We’ve already seen some of the horrible assaults and sex crimes that have taken place. But these terrible assaults will just be the tip of the iceberg of what’s coming if this isn’t shut down.
The CR even covers people who don’t live in Afghanistan and haven’t in many years, as long as they used to live there. So Biden and Blinken can load up planes of former Afghans from Pakistan or elsewhere without any limits, checks or even a lawful visa or refugee status. The only “rule” is that Mayorkas—an incompetent radical—give them a green light. This bill must be opposed!
2. If Democrats are able to piece together their huge tax hikes, called by another name, it will mean an additional 40 Republican seats in the House and at least a few additional Republican Senators in the U.S. Senate.

The extraordinary discovery was described as "unequivocal evidence" that has upended what archaeologists thought they knew about the first humans in North America.
Incredible discoveries have been made in understanding when humans first migrated to North America. Researchers now believe ancient human footprints discovered in the ground at New Mexico's White Sands National Park date 23,000 years back to the Ice Age.
The unearthed footprints, discovered in 2009 and the subject of a study released in late September, have upended archaeologists' understanding of early life in North America and are being described as "unequivocal evidence" that human activity had been taking place in the Americas long before what was originally thought.
For decades it's been generally believed that humans first entered North America between 13,000 and 16,000 years ago — after the melting of the North American ice sheets opened up migration routes. These new findings, published in the journal Science, place human habitation in the Americas during the Last Glacial Maximum, a time when ice sheets covered much of North America and as much as 10,000 years earlier than evidence has so far suggested. The Christian who wouldn't stop sharing his faith - even when threatened with execution

Taher is a Christian convert who lived in one of the most oppressive nations in the Middle East – it is not even possible to name his home country for security reasons. He was caught sharing his faith and could have gone to prison, or worse. But God intervened.
He is one of three Christians, persecuted for their beliefs, who will share their incredible stories at Open Doors' free online event, Standing Strong Live 2021 on Saturday, September 25.
Taher scratched the words on the cold wall of his prison cell. "Ask, seek, knock, and it will be given to you." He hoped the Bible verse from Matthew 7:7 would encourage others who would find themselves locked away in the cell after him. Taher had quietly slipped the pen into his pocket after his interrogation that night.
Just days before, the secret police had forced their way into his home and ransacked the house he shared with his wife Donya and daughters Farah and Arezoo. They had handcuffed him and wrapped a blindfold around his face before driving him away.
"Right then and there, I felt Jesus beside me," says Taher, whose family had been practising their faith in Christ in secret. From a closed country in the Middle East, as a Christian he risked being branded an 'enemy of the state' if his faith was discovered.
