Iran hopes Russia and China oppose US role in MidEast, Central Asia
An article in Iranian media looked to a Russian political analyst to understand how Russia might aid Iran in its own ambitions in the region. “The main goal of the United States in the Middle East and Central Asia at the moment is to create problems for strong political and economic partnerships,” the article notes.
Iran’s media frequently have long interviews when they try to project their own beliefs through the interviewed expert. This interview should be seen in that light.
The goal of the interview was to shed light on how the US was seeking partners in Central Asia, and what Russia, China and Iran might do about it. The US is leaving Afghanistan so America’s adversaries sense this is the time to unite. “Russia has supported the construction of the Uzbek-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway (Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar), which is seen as a competitor and alternative to the North-South international transport corridor, in which Iran and Russia also participate,” the article notes. we know that You are looking down upon them from heaven, knowing that all is ultimately under Your control. We pray in the Spirit over this report, trusting You to bring forth Your will through our intercession. We give this all to you, in Your Holy Name, amen and amen,

FOCUS ON ISRAEL
1. Swearing-in of Bennett-Lapid gov’t that would replace Netanyahu set for Sunday - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu looks set to end his 12 consecutive years in power in five days, as Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin announced Tuesday that a vote would be held on swearing in the new “change government” during a special parliamentary session on Sunday, a day before the deadline set by law.
The eight-party “change government” alliance, headed by Prime Minister-designate Naftali Bennett and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, anticipates winning a 61-59 majority in the vote, after wavering Yamina MK Nir Orbach said Tuesday he would back the new coalition.
The timing of the vote means that all coalition agreements must be formally handed to the Knesset and made public by Friday. The pro-Netanyahu bloc will therefore have 48 hours — not the 24 hours required by the law, since the Sabbath day of rest isn’t counted — to scrutinize the agreements and pressure right-wing MKs to jump ship before the vote of confidence. 2. Bennett, Sa’ar, Gantz Fight Over Who Will Oversee Judea and Samaria - Jewish Press
It began with a disagreement between Naftali Bennett and Defense Minister Benny Gantz as to who will have the authority in the Shinui coalition over law enforcement and construction in Area C of Judea and Samaria, as well as the settlements, according to a Walla report. Area C is the area under Israeli control that the Palestinian Authority is actively trying to take over by creating facts on the ground.
Bennett wanted to create a new and independent office and mechanism for enforcement, as the IDF’s Civil Authority has proved to be generally ineffectual against Arab violations in Area C, though very strong against Jewish violations.
Gantz not only refused but demanded that it be clearly written into the coalition agreements that the Civil Authority will remain under the Defense Ministry, and he will be in charge of Area C. There are rumors that Gantz agreed to a settlement freeze demand by the Biden administration. He recently and unexpectedly canceled the construction of an elevator for disabled at the Tomb of the Patriarchs. (Read more)
3. Regavim: Coalition agreements abandon the Negev - Israel National News
The details of the coalition agreements publicized in the media Sunday evening reveal that Yamina's Chairman, MK Naftali Bennett, and New Hope Chairman, MK Gideon Sa'ar, who blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the failure of governance in the Negev, are not only failing to provide solutions – they are exacerbating the problem.
In a statement the Regavim organization pointed out that aside from approving the whitewashing of thousands of illegal structures on about 11,000 dunams (2,718 acres) of land to create "three new communities," the coalition agreements do not stipulate what will happen to the rest of the illegal Bedouin squatters' camps nine months from now.
In addition, neither Bennett’s Yamina Party nor Sa'ar’s New Hope Party will have the ability to influence the outcome in a government kept afloat by Mansour Abbas and the Islamist Ra'am (United Arab List) party. (Read more)
4. Al Jazeera Lies About Israel, US Media Parrots Lies- United with Israel
The Al Jazeera network appears to be pulling out all the stops in a bid to discredit Israel with fake news.
After Israeli security forces briefly detained Al Jazeera journalist Givara Budeiri on June 5, the Qatar-funded outlet claimed that “Budeiri was ‘assaulted and arrested’ for no reason, which was then parroted by Associated Press and The New York Times,” reported media watchdog Honest Reporting.
Honest reporting noted, “Video footage shows that Budeiri pushed a border police officer after failing to present a valid press card. Only then was she taken into custody. Al Jazeera made no mention of this.”
Al Jazeera also recently interviewed a supposed human rights activist named Adam Shapiro who claimed Sunday that Israeli commanders are ordering security forces “to take out journalists … [and] kill them.”
Shapiro works with an organization based in Ireland called Front Line Defenders, which says it advocates “on behalf of human rights defenders at risk.” (Read more)
5. For First Time Ever, Israel Receives Seat on UN Economic and Social Council - Algemeiner
JNS.org– For the first time ever, Israel was elected on Monday to serve on the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
“An incredible achievement for Israel at the UN today being elected to ECOSOC! Thank you to the 154 states that voted for us & all our diplomats who made this happen,” Israeli Ambassador to the United States and the United Nations Gilad Erdan tweeted on Tuesday, along with a video clip expressing the same sentiment. “Choosing Israel is recognition of our innovation & creativity, which benefits all nations of the world!”
The ECOSOC, one of six main bodies at the UN, focuses on international economic and social matters. Eighteen countries other than Israel were elected to the 54-member body, and each will serve a three-year term. ECOSOC decisions are reached by a simple majority, each member having one vote.
Israel’s election to the UN body came less than three weeks after Erdan walked out of a session of the General Assembly at which Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki accused Israel of committing war crimes and “deliberately massacring children” in Gaza during “Operation Guardian of the Walls.” (Read more)

1. Judge Orders Virginia School to Reinstate Teacher Who Refused to Use Transgender Pronouns - Theepochtimes.com
A Virginia state court judge on Tuesday directed Loudoun County School System officials to withdraw their suspension and other disciplinary measures against a teacher who declined to use students’ preferred pronouns.
Elementary school teacher Byron Tanner Cross was suspended May 27 after briefly speaking against a proposal to require teachers in the Northern Virginia public school system to address students by their preferred pronouns, rather than only by those indicating male and female gender.
Cross was also barred from being on the grounds of any of the school system’s facilities without prior permission and to be available on request to discuss the official investigation of whether his comments were disruptive.
Cross claimed the suspension and related penalties were retaliation for his comments, which were protected by the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of speech.
Judge James E. Plowman of Virginia’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit, agreed, saying “here, it is clear the plaintiff was speaking as a citizen, not in his official capacity. His speech was not conducted at his usual place of employment, occurred during non-working hours and at a forum where public comment was invited. (Read more)
- Oh Hallelujah! It is such a joy to see justice in action. Thank you Father for watching over Your son who has taken a bold stand for the truth of Your word. Our Constitution guarantees his freedom of speech and the judge affirmed it and we all rejoice! May the school board be led to understand how mighty a God You are and that they can find true freedom and courage in You to do the right thing.
We also stand in prayer with Tanner until the final verdict has been rendered later
this year. Amen.

2. Senate report highlights sweeping intelligence failures before Jan. 6 riot - Just The News
Senate investigation report into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot released Tuesday has found sweeping intelligence and communications failures by law enforcement ahead of the riot.
The 127-page report, a bipartisan review of events, pieces together multiple warnings of violence from protesters ahead of the riot. The report shows Capitol security officials were aware of threats from protesters as early as late December, according to Politico.
Security officials had access to social media posts by protesters, complete with calls to "Surround every building with a tunnel entrance/exit" and to "Bring guns. It’s now or never." The joint report came from the Senate Rules and Homeland Security committees.
"There were significant, widespread and unacceptable breakdowns in the intelligence gathering," Democratic Sen. Gary Peters. (Read more)
- Holy One, this entire situation is unacceptable. We call for justice against those who plotted and committed crimes with intention to hurt or terrify others or destroy our nation's property. We ask for exposure of the ones who issued stand-down orders or refused to send reinforcements. Furthermore, there are people who are still imprisoned who have done nothing more than trespass, if that. We pray for You to minister to them and allow them to be released. Jesus, we put all of this in Your Holy hands and thank you for having Your way with everyone involved.

3. Senate Democrats start confirming Biden's judges to 'restore the balance' in courts - NBC News
The Senate began to approve President Joe Biden's first judicial nominees this week, marking the start of an ambitious push to make an impact on the federal courts.
The Senate voted 66-33 on Tuesday to confirm Julien Xavier Neals to be a district court judge in New Jersey.
Next up on Tuesday is Regina M. Rodriguez to be a district court judge in Colorado.
The two were advanced in committee last month, along with three other nominees, including Ketanji Brown Jackson for the powerful U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said they were "the first of many jurists that the Democratic-led Senate will consider to restore the balance to the federal judiciary."
He said the Senate will "swiftly and consistently" process Biden's judicial picks, "bringing balance, experience and diversity back to the judiciary." (Read more)
- Abba, we know that Chuck Schumer means to bring a powerful left-wing liberal contingent into the federal courts, who believe that legislating from the bench is an effective form of power and control. We reject this strategy to undermine justice, morality and godliness in this nation. Would You meet these judges in their sleep and admonish them to be just and honorable in all their actions, in Jesus name.

4. Justice Department Unveils Proposed Gun Restriction Rule - Brietbart
The Justice Department has proposed a rule to restrict accessories that turn pistols into rifles and legislation for states to adopt new “red flag” laws to keep firearms out of the hands of dangerous owners. The department’s rule change proposal seeks to clarify and heighten regulations for pistols that are converted with accessories into short-barreled rifles that are “dangerous and easily concealable weapons.”
The proposal says that restrictions on short-barreled rifles also apply to pistols equipped with stabilizing braces that enable the weapon to be fired from the shoulder. The department argued that converted weapons are more likely to be used to commit crimes, as manufacturers are able to sell such accessories without background checks or registration requirements.
“These requirements are important public safety measures because they regulate the transfer of these dangerous weapons and help ensure they do not end up in the wrong hands,” the Justice Department said in a statement Monday. (Read more)
- Father God, we take authority over the federal government overreach being proposed. We stand against all actions planned to overthrow both our Constitution and our individual rights. May our state legislators and governors be bold and courageous to uphold the rights of the people granted by the Constitution of the United States of America. In Jesus name.
- "Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle." (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
5. Federal prosecutors subpoena material pertaining to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's book: report - Just The News
Federal prosecutors subpoenaed material pertaining to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's latest book amid their investigation into coronavirus fatalities in Empire State nursing homes, individuals familiar with the matter reportedly said.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the individuals said that prosecutors working for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York requested communications pertaining to the governor's written work, "American Crisis," including contracts and material utilized to pitch the work to publishers.
They noted that the subpoenas indicated prosecutors are interested in nursing home-related matters in Cuomo's book. (Read more)
- We thank You, Father, that our prayers for exposure of any wrongdoing in the awful number of nursing home deaths is being revealed. We pray that foul play will be revealed and that this will bring closure to the relatives of the vast number of those who died in New York's nursing homes last year. Father, we pray that no one will profit from the disastrous pandemic of 2020.

6. Biden DOJ sides with Trump in defamation lawsuit after months of Democrat ridicule - Just The News
The Biden Justice Department on Monday night sided with Donald Trump, telling a federal appeals court that the U.S. government — not the former president — should be the defendant in a defamation lawsuit filed while he was still in office by a woman who claims she was sexually assaulted.
Trump's response to E. Jean Carroll's allegations was made in his official duties as president and therefore shift any liability to the government, DOJ lawyers wrote in taking the same position as Trump's lawyers last year.
The filing is remarkable because then-candidate Joe Biden criticized Trump's position during the 2020 campaign, only to have his own DOJ come to the same legal conclusion.
"Then-President Trump's response to Ms. Carroll's serious allegations of sexual assault included statements that questioned her credibility in terms that were crude and disrespectful," Justice Department lawyers wrote in a brief to the Second US Circuit Court of Appeals. (Read more)
- We thank You, Lord, for this unexpected ally in President Trump's court fight against this dubious lawsuit. We ask that You would see to it that this case is dismissed. We pray for protection for him from all other questionable prosecutions brought by those seeking his harm.
- "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

7. Supreme Court rules against immigrants in temporary status seeking green cards - CNN
The Supreme Court held on Monday that the government can block non-citizens who are in the US under a program that temporarily protects them from deportation in certain situations from applying for a green card if they entered the country unlawfully.
Justice Elena Kagan wrote for a unanimous court.
"Today's decision is not just a setback for those immigrants currently in Temporary Protected Status who did not enter the United States lawfully; it also reinforces the barriers that Dreamers would face until and unless Congress provides a statutory path to some kind of permanent lawful status," said Steve Vladeck, CNN Supreme Court analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law.
“The Executive Branch may have some authority to confer forms of temporary legal status on those who crossed the border without permission, but the Supreme Court today reinforced, however indirectly, that only Congress can provide a permanent answer," he added. (Read more)
- Lord, thank you for hearing our cries. We are happy to hear that the entire
Supreme Court voted to uphold the law of the land and not grant green cards to those who entered the U.S. unlawfully, although in Temporary Protected Status. May this court continue to reach just decisions based upon Constitutional Law and in agreement with the Court of Heaven.
- "Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes." (2 Chronicles 19:6-7)
8. Biden threatens Texas with legal action over closing of migrant detention facilities - Just The News
The Biden administration is threatening to pursue legal action against Texas if Republican Gov. Greg Abbott doesn't revoke his order to shut down federally funded shelters for unaccompanied migrant children.
Abbott announced last week the state would by August 30 shutter over 50 shelters housing roughly 4,000 unaccompanied migrant children. The shelters are licensed by the state but are operated by the federal government, causing a legal question over Abbott's decision to shutter the facilities.
In a letter Monday by Paul Rodriguez, the deputy general counsel for the Department of Health and Human Services, which is charged with the care of migrant children who come into the country, he tells Abbott the Biden administration would pursue legal action if he closed those facilities. (Read more)
- Father God, You love these children and want the very best for them. Continue to guide Gov. Abbott, showing him what actions will quickly bring stability to the children’s lives and not enable bad policy. May the children be speedily reunited with family or placed in a godly guardianship. May our government—local, state, and federal—work together to protect and defend our borders, once and for all. Please send Your wisdom and power for change, and especially send angels to protect these precious children. We say “no” to immigrant orphanages, “no” to drug cartels, “no” to M-13 gangs, “no” to human trafficking”, “no” to terrorists, “no” to disease, “no” to open borders, in Jesus name!!! May Joe Biden drop any legal action against Gov. Abbott, and do what is right for our nation.

9. Workers protest Texas hospital's vaccine mandate - The Hill
Dozens of staff members at Houston Methodist Hospital protested against the facility’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for employees on Monday night, the deadline for workers to be inoculated.
Houston Methodist in April issued a mandate requiring that all staff be vaccinated by June 7, becoming the first hospital system in the U.S. to require coronavirus shots for employees. Managerial staff were given until April 15 to get vaccinated.
The hospital said that employees who do not get vaccinated by the Monday deadline would be placed on a two-week unpaid suspension. If they were not inoculated before their suspension ended, the hospital said it would “immediately initiate the employment termination process.” (Read more)
- Father God, we ask for Your wisdom and freedom for all who must choose to either obey the mandates or follow their own contradictory beliefs. We pray that our courts would find a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for work, for travel, for dining, and more, both illegal and unconstitutional. May those who refuse the shots and ignore those mandates across our land find favor with the courts as they file lawsuits. Above all, Father, in Your great mercy, we ask that You permanently remove this plague from the earth.
-"Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." (James 1:5; 3:17)
10. School choice expansion in Pennsylvania clears first hurdle - Just The News
Senate Bill 1 advanced out of committee on a party-line vote after Democrats criticized the annual 25% growth rate the legislation authorizes for the state’s $185 million Educational Improvement Tax Credit and $55 million Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit programs.
Education Committee Majority Chairman Scott Martin, R-Strasburg, said boosting funding for the credits will give an additional 40,000 students the ability to attend school outside of their home district. “These represent tens of thousands of students that for whatever reason are looking for a different path, a better path, and are being turned away,” he said.
The programs offer businesses tax credits in exchange for donations that fund tuition for students opting out of their assigned public school. SB 1 would increase the size of the caps for the EITC to $300 million and the OSTC to $100 million, with automatic expansions of 25% each year. (Read more)
- Dear Lord, we bless this effort to expand school choice to make public education more competitive and therefore more beneficial for the children. We bless this effort to make better use of the dollars the parents and public invest through taxes. We bind up all negative influences of special interests that are not putting the children's education first. Lord, we desire an educational system throughout our country that is designed and orchestrated by You.
- "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye." (Psalms 32:8)
The Daily Jot
Guns and noses
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 8, 2021
The Biden Administration’s Justice Department has taken it upon itself to unilaterally announce gun control measures against law-abiding citizens. Up in the Federal Register for public comment is a proposal that would allow another government agency leeway to determine on a case by case basis whether a particular gun is subject to the National Firearms Act. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will get to say whether a gun with a “stabilizing brace” is legal. The government also published for public comment model legislation to make it easier for states to enact “red flag” laws for people to turn in friends, family, coworkers and neighbors who they think pose a risk if they had a gun.
. . . If this entire debate was about guns, wouldn’t it make sense to target those who use guns for illegal purposes rather than the entire population of law-abiding citizens? Kind of like if there is a disease outbreak, it makes sense to quarantine the sick, not the entire nation, 90 percent of which are well. Or instead of teaching elementary and high school kids about the 29 sexual identifications and how they work, teach character and values about caring for one another and how violence against each other is wrong. Or as Christ put it in Mark 12:31, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” But that would be actually solving problems, not perpetuating a narrative that a certain group of law-abiding people are evil. This is not about protecting public safety. It’s about government nosing into control of your life. Guns and noses. (Read more)
COVID hospitalizations, deaths for the vaccinated more than triple in one month, CDC reports
June 7, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Deaths and hospitalizations for COVID-19 infection have tripled among the fully vaccinated in the U.S. in the past month.
Deaths from COVID in those who have been fully vaccinated against the disease increased from 160 as of April 30 to 535 as of June 1, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
A total of 10,262 SARS-CoV-2 vaccine “breakthrough infections” – defined as coronavirus infections in fully vaccinated people – were reported to the CDC from 46 U.S. states and territories between January 1 and April 30, 2021, according to a report released by the CDC May 28.
About 10% (995) of the patients who became ill after vaccination before April 30 were hospitalized and the agency said it had received reports of 160 fully vaccinated patients dying from the infection. (Read more)
- Father God, there is clearly a coverup in place now regarding the dangers that these untested vaccines are posing to our people. We ask that those who are considering taking these vaccines be granted Your wisdom before doing so, in Your name we pray, amen and amen.
- "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)
OSHA Suspends Requirement That Employers Report Vaccine-Related Injuries
In order to encourage American workers to get vaccinated, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has suspended the legal requirement for employers to report work-related injuries resulting from vaccinations aimed at combating the CCP virus, which causes the disease COVID-19.
OSHA enforces the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
Liberty Counsel apparently inferred from the changed guidance that the White House influenced the decision to drop enforcement of the reporting requirement from a year. “No doubt receiving pressure from the Biden administration, OSHA suspended the enforcement requirement to record adverse injuries or death from COVID shots until May 2022 in order to push the COVID shots. This politically motivated change by OSHA is unprecedented,” the group stated in a release.
Liberty Counsel founder and Chairman Mat Staver criticized the decision to change the OSHA guidance.
“Employers that require employees to take a COVID shot may be held liable for adverse injuries and death. The fact that OSHA will not enforce recording requirements does not alter the legal liability of employers who require, coerce, or incentivize employees to take COVID shots,” he said in a statement. “OSHA’s suspension of the recording requirement so as not to discourage experimental COVID shots reveals that the Biden administration could care less about the collateral damage being caused by the COVID shots. The people can see this biased agenda. They are not stupid.” (The Epoch Times) Read more here.
- Father God, we agree with this statement by Mat Staver. Clearly, the government is now trying to hide data that demonstrates the inherent danger in taking these vaccines. We ask that this new policy at OSHA be immediately reversed! In Your Name, amen!

Speak the word, but it will not stand,
For God is with us." (Isaiah 8:10)
‘Enough Is Enough’: DeSantis Signs Bills to Confront ‘Nefarious’ Chinese Influence
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed two bills on June 7 designed to combat the influence of communist China in America. “If you look right now, there is no single entity that exercises a more pervasive nefarious influence across a wide range of American industries and institutions than the Communist Party of China,” said the Republican during a press conference in Miami. “All we are doing today is saying, ‘Enough is enough.’ We’ve got to start fighting back, and so the state of Florida is doing that,” he said.
One of the bills aims to cut the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) access to higher academic institutions—public and private—by prohibiting these entities from entering into agreements with the Chinese regime or companies with close state ties.
The bill will exclude Conficius Institutes, a controversial Beijing-backed program that has drawn scrutiny for its role in stifling freedom of expression on campus. It will also ensure “all nation-states, corporations, organizations, and individuals seeking to engage with colleges and universities are fully vetted,” DeSantis said.
Florida shuttered the last Confucius Institute in the state in September 2019. A total of 47 such institutes still remain in the United States.
The second, called the Combating Corporate Espionage in Florida Act, would make stealing and selling trade secrets a criminal offense, warned DeSantis.
Stealing or attempting to steal a trade secret for one’s own benefit constitutes a third degree felony with up to five years in prison, according to DeSantis. “If the same person tries to sell the stolen trade secret, they’ll face a second degree felony with even more penalties,” he said, adding that the individual or entity would face even harsher penalties for acting on behalf of a foreign government. (Epoch Times) Go here.
- Father God, we thank You for the bold leadership demonstrated by Florida's Governor Ron De Santis. We ask to You keep him safe, under the shelter of Your Wing.
We take note, too, that these movements towards preserving our religious freedom -- and truth -- are now coming out of the State of FLORIDA --- the very state whose sands are stained with the Blood of the Huguenot martyrs. In the year 1565, these 400 men and women were confronted three times, and were told to recant their faith in "Lutheranism." And in three episodes in the fall of that year, every single one REFUSED to recant their faith in the true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, choosing instead to perish at the edge of the sword.
Surely, even now, their very BLOOD CRIES OUT from the sands of the beaches of northern FLORIDA where each one faced a LINE IN THE SAND. Choosing to perish for the sake of the truth, each one refused an easy way out and died for Christ on that sandy shore. THE PRICE THEY PAID STILL RESONATES TODAY ON OUR SOIL. The Victory is the Lord's! PRAISE THE LORD!
- "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Rev. 12:11)

Hello, Ganymede! NASA's Juno makes closest visit to Jupiter's largest moon since 2000.
A NASA spacecraft made the closest flyby of Jupiter's largest moon in 21 years on Monday (June 7).
Juno whizzed by the icy moon of Ganymede safely at an altitude of just 645 miles (1,000 kilometers) at 12:56 p.m. EDT (1656 GMT). But we won't get any images or other information for a while, as NASA typically tasks downloads to Earth when the spacecraft is less busy gathering data.

'Major Victory for Human Dignity':
Comcast Cuts Ties with World's Largest Pornography Site
One of the largest cable providers in the U.S. has delivered a major strike against the elusive parent company behind the world’s most prolific pornography website.
Following in the footsteps of PayPal and other major credit card companies, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation announced this week Comcast has cut ties with MindGeek, which owns Pornhub.
NCOSE announced in a press release that a representative for the Xfinity brand said in an email the company was “deeply concerned” over the allegations against MindGeek and Pornhub, which has been credibly accused of hosting sexual assault footage as well as child sexual abuse material, or child pornography, and doing little to guard against and remove such content.
In April, Comcast “made the decision to drop all of MindGeek’s transactional content from our cable systems,” a Comcast spokesperson told Faithwire, urging adults to use parental controls to monitor any other content their children might be accessing.
“As the second-largest broadcasting and cable television company in the world by revenue, Comcast’s principled stand against MindGeek is a major victory for human dignity,” said Lina Nealon, director of corporate and strategic initiatives for NCOSE.
Nealon went on to say it is “the right move for corporations to cut ties with an industry that relies on the sexual exploitation and abuse of women, men, and children.” (Read More)
Nightly Prayer to HOLD THE LINE... and Today's Prophetic Words
We invite you to join a NIGHTLY prayer call with Rick Warzywak, Prayer leader for Transform Michigan. The call is focused on prayer over the Presidential election results and is EVERY NIGHT from 9-10pm EST.
One of my favorite stories in the gospels is Yeshua/ Jesus asleep in the boat as the storm arises on the Sea of Galilee:
" Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, 'Lord, save us! We are perishing!' But He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' The He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, 'Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?'" ~ Matthew 8: 23-27
How do we get to that place? To the Peace of Christ that passes understanding? How do we get beyond the fear of everyday circumstances? yep-you guessed it: regular repentance.
The more the old sin strongholds are removed through sincere repentance, the more the Fruits of the Holy Spirit flow freely. And of those nine precious Fruits (Galatians 5: 22-25), the Peace of Christ may be especially essential in these stormy times. Read More
Scripture:O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in You. Psalm 84:11–12
Lyrics:
When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain Trust and obey, For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
Refrain
Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
Refrain
But we never can prove
The delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows,
For the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
Refrain
Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet.
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do,
Where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
Refrain
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes all who wish to pray for our leaders to join us in prayer for our nation. You may sign up to receive our alerts by sending an email to us at CHPP1994@gmail.com requesting that your name be added to our list of subscribers.
