ALERT: US Struck by New Cyber Attack

This Time It's Our Food Supply
World's Largest Meat Supplier Taken Offline by Likely Russian Ransomware

Computer networks at JBS, the world's largest meat processing company, have been targeted by a sophisticated cyber-attack. The company, the second-largest producer of beef, pork, and chicken in the U.S. said Tuesday it has made significant progress in dealing with the recent attack and expects many of its plants to be back up and running Wednesday.

The attack sent buyers scrambling for alternatives.  Processing plants were shut down in eight U.S. states as well as in Canada and Australia.  According to a local union that represents about 3,000 workers at a plant in Greeley, CO, two shifts were canceled Tuesday.

JBS blames hackers from Russia for the ransomware attack on its computer servers. "It's very damaging," said cybersecurity expert Scott Spiro of Sugar Shot. "Even if they get their data back, which it looks like they will, there is still a toll to be had."

The attack comes on the heels of the Colonial Pipeline hack which shut down the critical fuel supply line causing thousands of gas stations in the Southeast U.S. to run dry.

"I don't think we've seen a period of this kind of sort of high-intensity cyber operations from Russian soil directed against a variety of different U.S. targets, arguably ever," said Javed Ali, a former national counterterrorism director at the National Security Council. (CBN) Read more

- Oh Lord, we look to You to stop these attacks on important industries throughout the world.  Lord, bring those responsible to justice for the disruptions they have caused and give companies wisdom as to how to implement safeguards against such incursions.  We ask that this nest of evil would be exposed and destroyed to free the world and our country of threats of this nature.  Lord, please bless our supply chain with safety and freedom from this kind of evil.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL
1. UNRWA Gaza Director Departs the Strip After Backlash for Saying Israel Did Not Target Civilians in Strikes Against Hamas - Algemeiner

The Gaza director of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees on Wednesday departed the Strip and will be temporarily replaced, after he told Israeli media that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had engaged in “precise” targeting and had not deliberately attacked civilians during last month’s Operation Guardian of the Walls, prompting massive protests from UN employees and condemnation from Gaza authorities.

Matthias Schmale, head of Gaza operations at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), had told Israel’s Channel 12 on May 22 that he “would not dispute” the IDF’s claim that airstrikes during Guardian of the Walls were “very precise.”

“I’m not a military expert but I would not dispute that,” Schmale said. “I also have the impression that there is a huge sophistication in the way the Israeli military strikes struck, over the last eleven days, so that’s not my issue.” (Read more)

2. Isaac Herzog elected 11th President of the State of Israel by wide margin - Jerusalem Post

Jewish Agency chairman Isaac Herzog will be the 11th president of the State of Israel after he received 87 votes from MKs in a secret ballot vote in the Knesset plenum.

Herzog’s opponent, Israel Prize-winning educator Miriam Peretz, received 27 votes and three MKs abstained. Had she been elected, Peretz would have become Israel’s first woman president. It was the largest victory in any presidential election in Israel’s history. Herzog will take over from President Reuven Rivlin when his term ends on July 9.

A veteran politician, Herzog is a former head of the Labor Party, a former opposition leader, a former welfare and diaspora minister and is the son of Chaim Herzog, who served as Israel’s president from 1983 to 1993. (Read more)

> > > PLEASE NOTE: Even though Isaac Herzog has been named the 11th President of the State of Israel, the Israelis have yet to form a coalition to name the next Prime Minister (now occupied by Benjamin Netanyahu.)

The following three headlines today address that issue.

3. Coalition talks stall, delaying declaration on whether government can be formed - Times of Israel

With a number of disagreements remaining between the various parties set to make up the so-called change coalition, Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid proved unable to inform the president on Tuesday that he had managed to form a government. Negotiating teams were set instead to meet throughout the night to try to finalize the deal by Wednesday’s midnight deadline.

Ideally, Lapid is looking to announce by 11 a.m. Wednesday morning that he can form a government composed of right-wing, centrist and left-wing parties, Channel 12 news reported Tuesday evening, with the aim of having Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin (Likud) schedule a vote to swear in the new coalition on June 9.

However, the report said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party is looking into whether Levin can push off a vote of confidence in the prospective government, though it also cited a ruling by former Supreme Court chief justice Miriam Naor that the vote must be held within a week. 4. Yair Lapid Officially Informs President Rivlin That He Can Form the Next Israeli Government - Jewish Press

One hour before the deadline that would kick the coalition football into the Knesset plenum, Yesh Atid’s Yair Lapid managed to sign each coalition partner to the deal that will form a center-left government in Israel with Naftali Bennett as the first prime minister in the rotation, and Yair Lapid following after him.

All coalition partners — including Yamina’s Naftali Bennett and Tikva Hadasha (New Hope)’s Gideon Sa’ar — signed the deal at around 11 pm, according to Walla! News. The parties in the coalition are Yesh Atid, Yamina, Tikva Hadasha, Meretz, Labor, Blue&White and Ra’am.

Lapid has now officially told President Reuven Rivlin that he can form a new government together with Bennett. Though it’s not as simple as that, as Yamina MK Nir Orbach is holding out, and without his vote, the coalition won’t have the 61 members it needs for a vote of confidence. Bennett is trying to get Orbach to either agree to the coalition or quit, so a Bennett loyalist who is next in line can come in, in his place. (Read more)

5. Yamina refuses coalition demands made by United Arab List - Israel National News

MK Naftali Bennett, who chairs the Yamina party, has declared his opposition to the fulfillment of a central demand by United Arab List (Ra'am) chair MK Mansour Abbas.

As a condition for his party's support of the proposed minority government, Abbas has demanded the cancellation of the Kaminetz Law, which allows administrative enforcement of laws against illegal construction and increases the severity of punishment for these crimes.

Sources involved in the coalition talks have claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and those close to him are pressuring Abbas to stick to his guns on the Kaminetz Law and demand it be canceled, knowing that Bennett will not agree to such a demand. Netanyahu has promised Abbas that the illegal Bedouin settlements in southern Israel will be normalized. (Read more)

1. US Researcher With Ties To Wuhan Lab Personally Thanked Fauci In April 2020 For Dispelling Lab Leak Theory ‘Myths’ - Daily Caller

The leader of a nonprofit group with close ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology personally thanked Dr. Anthony Fauci in April 2020 for publicly rejecting the notion that the lab could be connected to the release of COVID-19.

EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak’s April 18, 2020, email to Fauci was part of a 3,200-page batch of Fauci’s emails obtained by BuzzFeed News on Tuesday through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit. A large portion of Daszak’s email to Fauci was redacted with a FOIA exemption indicating the text could reasonably be expected to interfere with law enforcement proceedings.

Daszak personally thanked Fauci in the email for the bravery he exhibited during a White House press briefing the day prior when he said the novel coronavirus exhibits features that are “totally consistent” with an animal to human origin and that don’t point to lab manipulation. (Read more)

- Thank you Lord God for revealing these fraudulent attempts to not only release this virus as a weapon against the entire world but the way our political leaders lied and deceived the public about it. We pray Lord God that You would restore what was lost because of their lies and help us to discern things differently in the future.

- "There are six things which the Lord hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that run rapidly to evil."
(Proverbs 6:16-19)

2. Number of police officers shot this year reaches 128, union says defund movement a factor - Fox News

The number of police officers shot in 2021 has reached 128, an uptick from the previous year, and the number of “ambush-style” attacks on law enforcement is particularly on the rise, according to the National Fraternal Order of Police.

The major law enforcement union says the increase of violence against officers can be traced to the "defund the police" movement and overall hot rhetoric against police that have created a culture of disrespect.

"I think that the present climate that we see throughout the country right now and the dehumanization of law enforcement is certainly, I think, having some impact on the aggression towards law enforcement," Patrick Yoes, National FOP president, told Fox News. (Read more)

- Lord God, today we lift up every law enforcement officer in the entire United States. We pray that You would bless each and every one of them and bring comfort and encouragement to their hearts. Father God, let them know that what they do matters and that there are more people out there that appreciate them then they think. Let them  feel Your love Lord God, in Jesus' name, amen.

- “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)

3.  Trump endorses Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for reelection - The Hill

Former President Trump has thrown his support behind Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R) reelection bid as the governor finds himself embroiled in a fight with Democrats in the state over a controversial new voting rights bill.

Trump said in a statement Tuesday endorsing Abbott that the Texas Republican “is a fighter and a Great Governor for the incredible people of Texas” and has helped turn the state into a “job-creating machine.”

“Governor Greg Abbott will continue to be a great leader for the Lone Star State, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for re-election. He will never let you down!” Trump said in the statement, which was distributed by Save America, his leadership PAC. (Read more)

- Lord we pray that your will would be done in the State of Texas. We pray that leaders all over the U.S that have good values and hold true to their principles would be supernaturally advanced and put in positions of power and leadership.

- “For such is the will of God that by doing right you may silence the ignorance of foolish men.” (1 Peter 2:15)

4. Supreme Court justice denies Colorado churches challenge to lockdown authority - The Hill

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch on Tuesday rejected a challenge by two Colorado churches to a law that provided the basis for the state’s coronavirus restrictions.

Gorsuch, who handles emergency applications from Colorado and the surrounding region, denied the request in an unsigned order without referring the matter to the rest of the court, as is typical in controversial cases.

The challengers’ unsuccessful bid took aim at the Colorado Disaster Emergency Act (CDEA), which authorizes the governor to respond to pandemics as well as a variety of other disasters, including droughts, floods and fires.

Although Colorado has dropped virtually all relevant restrictions on houses of worship, the two churches argued in their May petition that the CDEA “remains a future threat” capable of discriminating against religious exercise. (Read more)

- We pray Lord you would be working in the hearts and minds of the justices, even now, as they reject cases that involve religious freedom. Continue to protect your church and your people against these kinds of attacks in Jesus name amen.

“. . . now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?” (Luke 18:7)

5. Biden suspends Trump-era oil and gas leases in Alaska refuge - Reuters

U.S. President Joe Biden's administration on Tuesday said it would suspend oil and gas leases that were handed out in an Alaska wildlife refuge during the final days of the Trump administration pending an environmental review.

The action reverses one of former President Donald Trump's signature efforts to expand fossil fuel development in the United States, and delivers a setback to the Alaskan state government which had hoped opening the enormous refuge would help revive its declining oil industry.

Trump's Interior Department sold the leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in January over the objections of environmentalists and indigenous groups. During his campaign, Biden had pledged to protect the 19.6 million-acre pristine habitat for polar bears, caribou and migratory birds. (Read more)

- Lord God this is yet another betrayal to American citizens and this great country as the Biden administration just purchased oil from Iran and now they continue to thwart our ability to produce our own gas and oil. Thank you for proving through the Trump presidency that America can be the maker of its own oil and it’s own gas and that we do not have to rely on that of other countries. We ask that You would raise up another leader to restore these practices in Jesus name, amen.

- "For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.'" (Isaiah 41:13)

6. U.S. formally ends Trump’s remain in Mexico asylum policy - Reuters

The United States has formally ended the Trump-era “remain in Mexico” policy, which forced tens of thousands of Central American asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico for U.S. court cases, according to a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo sent to agency leaders on Tuesday.

The administration of President Joe Biden paused the program, known as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), shortly after he took office on Jan. 20. Since then, more than 11,000 migrants enrolled in it have been allowed to enter the United States to pursue asylum claims, a DHS official told Reuters on Tuesday.

Biden, a Democrat, has reversed many of the restrictive immigration policies of former President Donald Trump, a Republican, saying Trump failed to honor U.S. asylum laws. Republicans have criticized Biden's actions, including ending the MPP program, saying he encouraged an increase in migrant arrivals at the U.S.-Mexico border in recent months.
U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions at the southwestern border reached the highest monthly levels in 20 years in March and April. Apprehensions in May were similar, according to preliminary figures shared with Reuters. (Read more)

- Lord God we pray that You would supernaturally restore our immigration policies. The border states and their citizens are suffering from these destructive policies. We ask that You would speak to the hearts of all of our leaders that they would reverse these atrocities in Jesus name, amen.

- “He will again have compassion on us;
He will tread our iniquities under foot.
Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea.” (
Micah 7:19)

7. Biden appoints Harris to lead voting rights reform, get Democrats bills passed in Senate - Just The News

President Biden has appointed Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the administration’s efforts to help fellow Democrats get their voting-rights reform measure passed in the closely divided Senate. Biden announced the appointment Tuesday in a speech in Oklahoma commemorating the anniversary of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, saying voting reform would "address what remains on the stained soul of America," according to NBC News.

The voting reform bill passed in the Democrat-controlled House but will have difficulty passing in the Senate, which is evently divided with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, with Harris having the tie-breaker vote. "In the days and weeks ahead, I will engage the American people, and I will work with voting rights organizations, community organizations, and the private sector to help strengthen and uplift efforts on voting rights nationwide," Harris said in a statement Tuesday. (Read more)

- Lord God we continue to call this evil piece of legislation down and we bind all of the demonic spirits that may be clouding the minds of our representatives. We decree that the strategies that Kamala Harris may use to get S.1 passed will fail, in the name of Jesus, amen.

- "Devise a plan, but it will fail;
State a proposal, but it will not stand,
For God is with us.”
(Isaiah 8:10)

 8. RNC tells presidential debate commission to 'correct its mistakes' or risking losing GOP candidates - Just The News

Washington Republicans are telling the Commission on Presidential Debates to make significant changes to upcoming presidential debates or risk losing participation from GOP candidates.

The request was made in a letter Tuesday to the commission from Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, in which she said the group would push all of its future nominees to decline general election debates hosted by the nonpartisan commission, according to CNN.

"The CPD's repeated missteps and the partisan actions of its Board Members make clear that the organization no longer provides the fair and impartial forum for presidential debates which the law requires and the American people deserve," wrote McDaniel, who also requested a response by July 31. (Read more)

- Lord we pray over the debate commission that it would be restructured and go through the necessary changes to provide the American people a non-partisan, honest look at all presidential candidates.  We need to be able to make informed decisions when we go to the polls. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

- “For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man.”  (2 Corinthians 8:21)

9. Pennsylvania Republican legislators travel to Arizona to observe election audit - Just The News

A group of Pennsylvania Republican legislators is traveling Wednesday to Arizona to observe an audit of the 2020 election results, with the possibility of replicating such an audit in their state.

GOP Sens. Doug Mastriano and Cris Dush, and Rep. Rob Kauffman will meet with Arizona Republicans in the state capitol before touring the audit at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix. They will also receive a brief from the forensic audit team.

The Republican-led Arizona Senate ordered an audit of results in Maricopa County after the 2020 election, with it officially starting on April 23. Contract auditors are roughly halfway through the nearly 2.1 million ballots cast in the county, the state's largest county. "I kind of see this as a fact-finding mission to see what’s happening on the ground in Arizona," Kauffman told the Epoch Times Tuesday. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask for a supernatural breakthrough so that these audits will take place all over the United States in states where the Presidential election is still being contested. We ask that all the irregularities be exposed and that the lies come to light, in Jesus name, amen.

- “The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.” (Proverbs 12:22)

10.  I’m a teacher but I serve God first’: Virginia teacher placed on leave after refusing to kowtow to trans ideology - Christian Post

An elementary school in Virginia has placed a physical education teacher on leave after he told the school board that he wouldn't affirm transgender identities because it's tantamount to lying and child abuse, and stressed, “I’m a teacher but I serve God first.”

Leesburg Elementary School in Loudoun County placed the teacher, Byron “Tanner” Cross, on leave Thursday, Fox News reported.
The decision was made two days after Cross explained at a Loudoun County School Board meeting on May 25 why he wouldn’t “affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa.”

“My name is Tanner Cross and I am speaking out of love for those who suffer with gender dysphoria,” he told the board. Referring to CBS News’ “60 Minutes” investigation that aired Sunday, the Christian teacher said the over 30 young people who were interviewed by Lesley Stahl had “transitioned but felt led astray because of lack of pushback or how easy it was to make physical changes to their bodies in just three months.”

“We condemn school policies like 8040 and 8350 because it would damage children, defile the holy image of God,” he continued. “I love all of my students but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences. I’m a teacher but I serve God first and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it’s against my religion.” (Read more)

- Father God, we thank You for the bold stand taken by Tanner Cross on behalf of the gospel and the health of his students. We ask that He be honored and granted blessings from above as a result of his obedience to You. Lord, help us to follow his example and to not be taken in by worldly pressure, by social media, by the ad campaigns, and by the multitude of voices that are telling us to abandon biblical principles. Help is to stay attentive to hear Your voice. May we not walk in fear of man, but be fearless in walking in Your way. In Jesus amen.

- “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

Stupidocrisy: Defunding Police Is Marxism In Action

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, June 2, 2021

Defunding the police is a Marxist revolution linchpin aimed at destroying the United States with the help of the Democratic Party and various anarchist and communist groups. To most law-abiding Americans who love their country, the freedom and opportunity it provides, defunding the police is just a dangerously stupid idea. Many of those who want to defund the police are emotionally driven by class division, racial, and equality arguments and are duped into what is detrimental to their existence. Among them are the most hypocritical people in America—politicians. A story by Breitbart News about the failings of Democrat-run cities that defunded the police is just the tip of the iceberg on this revolutionary concept.

Breitbart reports, “New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is planning to reinstate $92 million to build a new precinct cut from the budget last year. From January 1 through May 23, 2021 there were 531 shootings in the city, up from 295 during the same period last year. In Baltimore, Mayor Brandon Scott, who as a city councilman led efforts to cut the police budget by $22 million, is now proposing a $27 million increase. In Oakland, California–where by mid-April the city had recorded 41 homicides, up from 13 over the same period last year–city lawmakers voted in April to put $3.3 million of the $29 million it had slashed back into the police budget. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti wants an increase in police spending of about $50 million after the city cut $150 million last year.” All part of the Marxist plan as revealed by Nathaniel Flakin.

Flakin of the Left Voice, a “revolutionary socialist news site,” revealed to Kshama Sawant, a socialist on the Seattle City Council, in an open letter on August 23, 2018 that a goal of the socialist revolution is to “disarm and abolish the racist police.” In chastising Sawant for voting to confirm the Seattle police chief, Flakin wrote: “Socialists, going back to Karl Marx, have always been irreconcilably hostile to the police because the police are the “chief instruments of state power” …Marx explained that workers, in order to liberate themselves, will need to destroy the capitalist state apparatus. This is impossible without smashing the institution of the police. Every successful revolution in history has involved working people standing up to the police and winning…,” adding that, “the police are forced to surrender and drop their weapons.”

We see that a primary goal of the Marxist-influenced groups such as Antifa and the Black Lives Matter Organization are arms of this radical revolutionary concept and Democratic Party politicians in many cities are willing accomplices or willing dupes. While the revolutionaries are hoping to deconstruct law and order and abolish property ownership, the majority of Americans want law and order. They also want their freedom and their property secure. Now, after harming the people who elected them by defunding law enforcement, these stupid and hypocritical politicians are quietly refunding the police. Psalm 82:2 says, “How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?” Apparently, as long as We the People let them. These people who buy into defunding the police are self-destructive. Say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

Supreme Court prepares final push to release hot-button rulings, amid retirement talk

After a year of enormous change and challenge, the U.S. Supreme Court enters its final weeks of the term with several hot-button cases yet to be decided, and speculation over one of its longest-serving justices.

June is typically the busiest time for the nine-member bench, as they work to release rulings from their docket, including issues dealing with religious liberty and LGBTQ rights, healthcare, college sports, and state voting laws.

. . .

But first things first, as the court must dispose of its 26 outstanding merits cases. The late Ginsburg called June the "flood season" for the court's frantic finish, when the most contentious issues are typically resolved. Draft opinions are circulated and finalized among chambers, with internal tensions among the justices at its highest, reflected in the often harshly worded dissents by those on the losing side.

Much of the focus will be on Barrett, Trump's third high court appointment, which solidified a 6-3 conservative majority. She has yet to reveal her hand in the most closely watched cases, and her jurisprudence will likely be a work in progress. (Fox News) Read more.

> > > Please note: this article includes a listing of key cases to be resolved and announced at the end of this month, as well as other key issues now before the Court. We ask that we lift up our Supreme Court this month as they wrap up their work for this year, using the prayer language God has given to each one of us. Thank you.

Breaking News from the Supreme Court
In Unanimous Ruling, SCOTUS Affirms Authority of Native American Tribal Governments and Police Forces

In a broad ruling reaffirming the sovereignty of Native American tribes, the U.S. Supreme Court declared unanimously on Tuesday that tribal police officers have the power to temporarily detain and search non-Native Americans on tribal land if they’re suspected of violating state or federal law.

The case, United States v. Cooley, involved a 2016 incident on the Crow Reservation in Montana where the defendant, Joshua James Cooley, was arrested after a Crow Police Department officer searched his vehicle and found weapons and methamphetamine.

Cooley was later indicted by a federal grand jury on drug and gun charges, but submitted a motion to suppress the drug evidence arguing that the tribal police officer lacked the authority to detain and search him because he is not Native American. The District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court had ruled in favor of Cooley’s argument, which the Supreme Court overturned.

“This is an extremely important ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court,” Colette Routel, the co-director of the Native American Law and Sovereignty Institute at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, writes TIME in an email, explaining that the “decision was made on broad grounds” that extend beyond the Crow tribe’s specific treaty rights, and was unanimous, which “is rare in Indian Law cases in recent decades.” Routel adds that she views the ruling as part of a larger shift by the court to respect tribal sovereignty and treaty rights, explaining that the court has decided in favor of tribal interests in the past five cases that have gone before it.

- Lord God, we thank You that the sovereignty of the Indian tribal governments has been upheld by this ruling, and that this ruling was unanimous. We honor our brothers and sisters in the Native communities, and ask that this ruling would be seen as a well-deserved blessing for them.

- "Give honor to whom honor is due."  (Romans 13:7)
Pompeo: 'Every Piece of Evidence' Points to Wuhan Lab Leak

With more people coming around to accept the possibility that coronavirus originated in China's Wuhan lab, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reiterated in a tweet what he has been saying since the outbreak of the pandemic.

"Every piece of evidence suggests the Wuhan virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology," Pompeo wrote, adding "Communist China owes the world answers."

Throughout much of the pandemic, the mainstream media and prominent members of the scientific community were skeptical of the theory, according to Newsweek.

But last week President Joe Biden said the U.S. Intelligence community had "coalesced around two likely scenarios," one of which was the likelihood that the virus escaped during a laboratory accident in Wuhan. Biden gave the intelligence agencies 90 days to carry out another probe to "bring us closer to a definitive conclusion."

Following Biden’s announcement that the intelligence agencies are rechecking the matter, Pompeo told Fox News that he was glad the new administration was coming around to the lab leak theory.

"What I can say for sure is this: we know that they were engaged in efforts connected to the People’s Liberation Army inside of that laboratory, so military activity being performed alongside what they claimed was just good old civilian research," he said. "They refuse to tell us what it was, they refuse to describe the nature of either of those, they refuse to allow access to the World Health Organization. That cover-up alone suggests that there's a lot more that we need to know." (Newsmax) Read more.

NASA's Perseverance Mars rover marks 100 days
on the red planet
Tuesday marks NASA's Perseverance Mars rover's hundredth Martian day on the red planet. The car-sized, 2,260-pound spacecraft landed on Mars' Jezero Crater on Feb. 18, 2021, after a 203-day journey traversing 293 million miles.

Perseverance, the most technologically advanced space robot the agency has sent to date, was designed based on the Mars Science Laboratory's Curiosity rover configuration.

Packed with groundbreaking engineering, the rover carried the Mars Ingenuity Helicopter to the planet ahead of its historic experimental flights and the first-ever powered, controlled flight on another planet.

It also took unprecedented images, video and audio recordings, including selfies with Ingenuity and the sound of Martian winds.

Perseverance, led by members of the agency's Southern California-based Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has since embarked on its trek in a mission to conduct astrobiological research including the search for ancient microbial life

In a tweet acknowledging the milestone, JPL's Perseverance team wrote that the rover had tested all cameras and scientific instruments, returned more than 75,000 pictures including the documentation of Ingenuity's flights, extracted oxygen from Mars' atmosphere and since headed south to its first exploration zone. 'Rolling to Remember' Ride Honors Veterans

Brings Fresh Air to Washington, D.C.
Reeling from months of darkness, hate and despicable behavior by Antifa, Black Lives Matter and others who turned the city into a boarded-up crime zone, the rush of motorcycle engines brought a breath of fresh air to stifling Washington, D.C. on Sunday, May 30, beginning at noon. Rolling to Remember, which replaced the previous Rolling Thunder motorcycle event, was sponsored by AMVETS and brought an estimated group of 50,00 motorcycle riders, nearly all veterans and their families, to clear the air from the anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Israel rally that took place the previous day, with Washingtonians cheering them on.

From salutes to words of greeting to spontaneous outbreaks of former President Trump's favored "YMCA" to "The Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America," the ride reflected the true spirit of America. For the first time in history, the traditional permit for the ride to begin at the Pentagon was refused, so this year's ride began instead at RFK Stadium in Northeast Washington.

"We came from Virginia," said Pete, who preferred to use his first name only, speaking for himself and his girlfriend. "We come each year to show our patriotism, our love for America and most of all to remind America that 86,177 heroes have still not come home."

Rolling Thunder, held annually for 32 years, began in 1987 when Vietnam Veteran Ray Manzo was troubled about the stories of those left behind and the plight of retiring veterans. Manzo organized the first ride into Washington, naming it after the sound of thousands of motorcycles rolling into the nation's capital. After being canceled last year due to COVID-19, the ride was reinvented this year to include an emphasis on the more than 6,000 veterans who commit suicide each year.

On a clear Memorial Day weekend, 50,00 strong joined with others to honor America's war heroes on their day from the nation's capital. (Read more)

Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.

Refrain
Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary

By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.

Refrain

Now I’ve given to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my king,
Now my raptured soul can only sing of Calvary!

Refrain

Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!

Refrain

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
