TODAY'S TOP STORY
Critical: VOTE Expected TOMORROW on HR 1

June 21, 2021

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has created a scheduled vote on a substitute number for HR 1 (now S 2093) as early as tomorrow—the election fraud bill. This vote could push a toxic bill onto the Senate floor, and now Sen. Joe Manchin is signaling that his original opposition to this bill is wavering. Democrats are putting incredible pressure on Manchin.

There is a huge battle brewing in Arizona’s Maricopa County. I’ll explain below, however if S 1 passes, every one of these hard-fought victories in states across America will be erased. Georgia, Florida and many other states are pushing election reform laws, but if passed, S 1 will override them all.

Even if you have already faxed before, I am reminded of the scriptural principle of the unrighteous judge who finally gave in to the widows' persistent demands for justice. This holds many parallels to America’s current political climate.

We must flood key senators with faxes to demand they fight HR 1 that legalizes election fraud! Make your voice heard in the Senate today by clicking here or the button below. —Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel Action.

- Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8)

- Father God, we commit ourselves to you today to NOT GIVE UP,  just as this widow
did in her own time. We continue to STAND until we see this wicked piece of legislation defeated in the U.S. Senate. AMEN!

- [A word for Senator Chuck Schumer]:

IT IS WRITTEN: “Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted;
State a proposal, but it will not stand,
For God is with us.” (Isaiah 8:10)
FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Lapid to be first-ever Israeli minister to visit UAE next week - Jerusalem Post

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid plans to visit the United Arab Emirates next week, making him the first Israeli minister on an official visit to the country, which made peace with Israel last year.
On his first trip in his new role, he will be the guest of UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi next Tuesday and Wednesday. Lapid will dedicate the Israeli Embassy in the Emirati capital and the Israeli Consulate in Dubai.
“Israel-UAE ties are an important relationship whose fruit is enjoyed not only by the citizens of the two countries, but of the entire Middle East,” Lapid’s spokesman said Monday.
Israel and the UAE announced a peace and normalization agreement last August, facilitated by the US and called the Abraham Accords. Bahrain joined soon after, and then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu  and the foreign ministers of the two Gulf states signed the accords at the White House the following month. In the ensuing months, Sudan and Morocco also announced normalization with Israel. (Read more)

2. IDF successfully tests 'ground-breaking' anti-drone laser system - Israel National News

The Directorate of Defense R&D in the Ministry of Defense (MoD) reported that together with Elbit Systems and the IAF, it had successfully intercepted several UAVs using an airborne High-Power Laser Weapon System (HPL-WS). The UAVs were intercepted at various ranges and flight altitudes.

"I would like to congratulate the Directorate for Defense R&D, Elbit Systems and the IAF on the technological breakthrough they have achieved. Today you have brought us closer to yet another important milestone in the development of the multi-tier defense array of the State of Israel and it is significant both in terms of cost-effectiveness and defense capabilities. The laser system will add a new layer of protection at greater ranges and in facing a variety of threats – securing the State of Israel while saving the costs of interception. I am confident that Israel’s defense industry will succeed in this important development program, and I will personally work together with the entire defense establishment to ensure its success," said Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, following the trial.

Testing was conducted under the guidance of the Directorate of Defense R&D in the Israel Ministry of Defense. The device was installed on an aircraft and tested in a series of wide-ranging scenarios. It successfully intercepted and destroyed all of the UAVs that were launched during the trial. The ability to intercept and destroy airborne threats is groundbreaking and offers a strategic advantage to the air defense capabilities of the State of Israel. This game-changing exercise was conducted in a testing field in the center of Israel, in close cooperation with the IAF and the “Yanat” unit. (Read more)

3. Islamic Jihad warns patience 'running out' if Israel continues Gaza strikes - Israel Hayom

In a fresh warning to the newly former Naftali Bennett-led government, Palestinian Islamic Jihad on Saturday said its patience with Israel was "running out" and was ready to retaliate for its attacks in the Gaza Strip, which have come in response to a renewed cross-border arson campaign.

Senior PIJ official Khader Habib told the Ramallah-based Al Ayam newspaper that terrorist groups in Gaza have delivered a message to Israel through Egyptian mediators warning that if its retaliatory strikes continue, as well as the blockade on the Strip that Jerusalem says is necessary to prevent terrorist groups from building up their military capabilities, "the [terrorist] organizations will respond in a similar fashion."

"We will not allow the Israeli government to impose its conditions on the resistance or isolate Gaza," Habib said, adding that "the joint headquarters of the [terrorist] organizations in Gaza have formulated a final and unified position to face Israeli conduct in the coming days."

Habib additionally warned of potential fighting along the entire Gaza border, despite the calls for restraint by some within the enclave. (Read more)

4. Samaria community to petition Supreme Court for demolition postponement - World Israel News

Residents of the Samaria outpost of Evyatar said they will appeal to the Supreme Court on Monday, after the IDF Central Command and Civil Administration rejected a request to postpone the demolition of what security forces say are illegally built homes.

Fifty families live in the unrecognized community, located near Kfar Tapuach. Named after terror victim Evyatar Borovsky, the settlement was established in 2013.

The April murder of yeshiva student Yigal Guetta at a junction nearby sparked renewed interest in the settlement, with some 70 families on the waiting list to move to the community.

The site is slated to be demolished in the coming days. The IDF and Civil Administration rejected a master plan for the community submitted by the Samaria Regional Council last week, saying that the settlement is a security risk and must be evacuated. (Read more)

5. PM Bennett Approves Critical Steps to Block Spread of Indian Variant - Jewish Press

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Sunday night held an assessment of the situation regarding the new spread of the coronavirus, concluding that Israel is facing a real threat from the spread of the Delta (a.k.a. Indian) variant throughout the world, visits by Israelis to red countries, and the fact that many Israelis who return from abroad are not strictly adhering to the quarantine directives.

The team of epidemiological experts in the health ministry now recommends a sweeping Corona vaccination for 12-15-year-olds. According to Kan 11 News, in response to the outbreaks in the towns of Modi’in and Binyamina, Corona Czar Professor Nachman Ash said in internal discussions: “We may need to change the recommendation for vaccinating children – we may move to a stronger recommendation for children. We don’t want to be too late when there have already been many outbreaks.”

The PM’s meeting included the Health, Interior, Transportation, Public Security, and Education Ministers, the deputy head of the National Security Council, the Attorney General, and senior officials in the participating ministries. (Read more)

1. Georgia Investigator’s Notes Detail ‘Massive’ Issues During 2020 Election – The Epoch Times

Newly published notes jotted down by an election monitor detail a slew of issues witnessed in Georgia’s largest county during the 2020 election. Carter Jones was tapped by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to observe firsthand the election in Fulton County. His notes detail what he saw from Nov. 2 to Nov. 7, 2020.

Problems started from the time Jones arrived at the English Street warehouse, which holds various election materials, at approximately 9 p.m. after Raffensperger’s office received reports throughout the afternoon of materials not being delivered to polling places in a timely manner, or at all.

Just four minutes after arriving, Jones saw an election official working to reset poll pads for a precinct. The precinct only received one bag of pads, despite the system at the warehouse showing both had been checked out.

Jones said many bags of pads and other materials were not packed and paperwork was not matching up. He used the word “chaos” and said there was much “confusion.” One county official blamed the secretary of state’s office, claiming they received a “flawed file,” but officials with the office responded that the alleged issue was “easy to disprove.” Read more

- Lord, we pray that the stalemates with regard to officials who pretend nothing happened will be broken. We ask that Your Spirit come to break off the lies, deception, and crooked ways of all political entities in the nation. We pray Your power to protect Your people from their clutches.

2. BREAKING: Chinese Defector's Identity Confirmed, Was Top Counterintelligence Official – RedState

We now know the name of the Chinese defector who has been working with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for a few months and what his position within the Chinese military and government was, among other details.

Matthew Brazil and Jeff Stein at Spy Talk reported on the “rumor,” and gave the name and background of the rumored defector:

Chinese-language anti-communist media and Twitter are abuzz this week with rumors that a vice minister of State Security, Dong Jingwei (经纬) defected in mid-February, flying from Hong Kong to the United States with his daughter, Dong Yang.

Dong is, or was, a longtime official in China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), also known as the Guoanbu. His publicly available background indicates that he was responsible for the Ministry’s counterintelligence efforts in China, i.e., spy-catching, since being promoted to vice minister in April 2018. If the stories are true, Dong would be the highest-level defector in the history of the People’s Republic of China.

RedState’s sources confirmed that the defector is, in fact, Dong, that he was in charge of counterintelligence efforts in China, and that he flew to the United States in mid-February, allegedly to visit his daughter at a university in California. When Dong landed in California he contacted DIA officials and told them about his plans to defect and the information he’d brought with him. Dong then “hid in plain sight” for about two weeks before disappearing into DIA custody. (Read more)

- Lord, the information brought by this high level defector explains why so many things seem to be changing in recent days. We ask that China would be held accountable for everything they have done in secret.

3Nina Simone's grandaughter says Kamala Harris 'bullied' her mother to the point she 'almost killed herself' – Fox News

Legendary singer Nina Simone’s granddaughter accused Vice President Kamala Harris of causing the family to lose control of Simone's estate while Harris was California attorney general.

"Nina’s granddaughter here," ReAnna Simone Kelly wrote on Twitter on Saturday. "My family doesn’t run her estate anymore. It was taken away from us [and] given to white people. Our family name was DRAGGED in the media. We get NO royalties, nothing. Wanna hold someone accountable? Ask Kamala Harris why she came for my family."

"As I said before, Ask her why she separated my family," she continued. "Ask her why my grandmother's estate is in SHAMBLES now. Ask her why we as her family no longer own the rights to anything. Ask her why she bullied my mother in court and my mom almost killed herself from the depression." (Read more)

- Lord, if Harris actually did these things, we ask for restoration for the family. An official who began her political career in the arms of sin may not repent easily, but You can cause her to fall to her knees.

4. Illinois city cancels July 4 parade over COVID-19 concerns but allows Juneteenth and Pride celebrations – Fox news

The city of Evanston, Illinois, located just north of Chicago, joined communities across the U.S. in celebrating their first in-person Juneteenth parade Saturday, but some have been left wondering why celebrations for the nation’s Independence Day have been canceled.

The Evanston Fourth of July Association voted to cancel the town’s Independence Day events earlier in 2020 and opt for a virtual celebration instead -- citing concerns over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Based on concern for public health due to the unpredictability of the pandemic’s impact, vaccination rates, and in cooperation with our local authorities, the Trustees…voted to cancel the Fun Run, Parade, Palatine Concert Band performance and Lakefront Fireworks show on July 4, 2021," the board wrote in a statement.

But some took to social media to voice their frustration over the decision.

"My home town of Evanston, Illinois is having a Juneteenth Parade and a Gay Pride Parade, but is canceling the 4th of July Parade & Fireworks," Tom Bevan, co-founder and president of Real Clear Politics, wrote on Twitter. (Read More)

Lord, we pray that such blatant left wing bias against patriotic displays would be destroyed. Let Your Spirit move over the nation, bringing repentance to all.

5. Reading, Writing, And Ratting Each Other Out – Zero Hedge

Much ink has been spilled over the illiberal education that college students receive these days, and how ivory tower-incubated ideas are now finding their ways into society at large. But less well-known is how some of the more devious – and unconstitutional – policies employed by America’s colleges and universities have begun to migrate down to the K-12 level as well.

One such program is the bias response team, which encourages students and staff to file reports about perceived “bias incidents” through portals on the school’s website – anonymously if individuals so choose. Reports are sent to a school’s “team,” which is often composed of assorted university officials such as campus police, deans of students, Title IX administrators, and diversity employees. A 2017 report from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education identified 231 bias response teams operating in higher education institutions across the country, a number which has undoubtedly risen since then.

As Jeffrey Aaron Snyder and Amna Khalid wrote in the New Republic in 2016, “They degrade education by encouraging silence instead of dialogue, the fragmentation of campuses into groups of like-minded people, and the deliberate avoidance of many of the most important—and controversial—topics across all academic disciplines.”

It should surprise nobody that these programs have become weaponized in recent years. Students frequently reported for discussing political and religious topics – which are constitutionally protected on public university campuses, much to the chagrin of these bureaucratic star chambers. Once made aware of these programs’ existence, most rational students simply refrain from discussing potentially controversial topics altogether out of an abundance of caution; as a result, whole lines of discussion and arguments that might be found on a nightly news show quietly and conveniently disappear from college campuses. (Read more)

Lord, we rebuke this practice that divides instead of unifies. We ask that You protect Your people on these campuses and bring into the Light all evil that is being perpetrated on them.

6. Arizona-Style Election Audit Needed in Nevada: GOP Chairman – The Epoch Times

After visiting the election audit of Arizona’s Maricopa County, the head of Nevada’s Republican Party said a similar review is needed in Nevada—although that possibility appears slim, as Democrats control both houses of the state Legislature.

“Hats off to the leadership here in Arizona … I think that sets the model, that sets the tone for Nevada,” Republican Chairman Michael McDonald said in an interview posted to Twitter, referring to the audit efforts in Maricopa. “We want to duplicate that in Nevada.”

Starting in April, a private company has led efforts to audit all 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County, following an order by Arizona’s Republican-controlled Senate. Democrats, including Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, have frequently decried the process, describing it as partisan and unprofessional—which Republicans have denied.

McDonald, who said he has a law enforcement background, told the interviewer that he believes the audit’s security and procedures are sufficient.

“We want to be able to say the same thing in Nevada: That we looked at all the problems we had, all the anomalies that took place, to make sure that it was a clean and fair election,” McDonald said. “Because it wasn’t.” (Read more)

- Lord, as more and more information and investigations take place, we pray that You will redeem us from the evil pit that this administration has placed upon us.

He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.” (Psalm 40:2)

7. Greg Abbott Defunds Texas Legislature After Democrats Stage Walk-Out, Block Election Reforms – Daily Wire

Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) vetoed funding for the state legislature on Friday, carrying out the threat he made last month after Democrats staged a walk-out to block legislation.

Democrats in the Texas House walked off the floor of the House chamber last month, breaking quorum and stopping Republicans from passing election reforms, as well as a bail reform legislation that Abbott in particular wanted, according to the Texas Tribune. After the walk-out, Abbott vowed to defund the legislative branch for “abandon[ing] their responsibilities.”

“Texans don’t run from a legislative fight, and they don’t walk away from unfinished business,” Abbott said in a statement Friday. “Funding should not be provided for those who quit their job early, leaving their state with unfinished business and exposing taxpayers to higher costs for an additional legislative session. I therefore object to and disapprove of these appropriations.”

Abbott vetoed Article 10 of the state budget approved by the legislature Friday. Article 10 not only funds lawmakers’ salaries, but also the salaries of staff and maintenance workers, and it funds legislative agencies such as the Legislative Reference Library. (Read more)

8. ‘It’s A Basic Argument’: Colorado Baker’s Lawyer Reaffirms Plan To Appeal Court Ruling – Daily Caller

Colorado baker Jack Phillips’ lawyer reaffirmed plans to appeal a Tuesday district court ruling which said he had violated the state’s anti-discrimination law for declining to create a custom cake celebrating a gender transition.

Jonathan Scruggs, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) and Phillips’ case, reaffirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation their plans to appeal the decision in Scardina v. Masterpiece Cakeshop that Phillips violated the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA).

“Our plan is the same as it’s been before … it’s a basic argument,” Scruggs told the DCNF. “Jack serves all people. He doesn’t convey all messages.”

The ADF has represented Phillips since 2012, when he was first sued by the Colorado Civil Right Commission for declining a request to make a custom cake celebrating a same-sex wedding due to his religious beliefs. (Read more)

-  Father, we pray Your hedge of protection around Jack Phillips, and Your favor upon him as he battles this latest travesty. As he won before, let him win again and let no more battles like this come upon him or any other Christian engaged in normal business.

- “For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

9. House Republicans: Biden Diverting Funds from Americans to Give Hotel Rooms to Illegal Aliens - Breitbart

A group of House Republicans wants to know how many billions of dollars in American taxpayer money President Joe Biden is diverting from United States citizens to provide border crossers with hotel rooms and transportation into the U.S.
In a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra, ten House Republicans — including Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Andy Biggs (R-AZ) — are asking the administration to disclose how many billions in taxpayer money it is using to provide border crossers with public services like hotel rooms and transportation.

The House Republicans write:
… we are deeply concerned about reports that the Department of Health and Human Services has diverted more than $2 billion that Congress appropriated for COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus]-related health initiatives toward covering the cost of housing and transportation of unaccompanied immigrant children. Every child on earth deserves dignity and a safe place to live and grow, but it is the Biden administration’s policies that are encouraging children to make the dangerous trek to our southern border. This must end for the safety and security of these migrant children, the lives of whom your administration’s policies are putting at risk each and every day. [Emphasis added]

It is further disheartening to hear that the Biden administration has been awarding contracts to put up migrant families in hotel rooms and move them around the country on buses and commercial airplanes, as some of us have witnessed when flying domestically. Our frustration is further exacerbated by the aforementioned misguided decision to divert billions of dollars away from helping Americans deal with COVID-19 so that illegal aliens can rest in hotels, courtesy of the taxes you have taken from American workers. [Emphasis added]

As part of the Biden administration’s expansive Catch and Release operation, tens of thousands of border crossers set for release into the U.S. stay in migrant hotels before being flown into the nation’s interior on commercial flights. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for restoration of all taxpayer funds that have been stolen. As the promise of restoration to Israel in Your Word, let America be restored as well.

- “Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” (Isaiah 61:7)

10. Mark Kelly Under Pressure to Recuse Himself from Chipman’s ATF Confirmation over Past Gun Control Collaboration - Breitbart

A proclamation in the Arizona House of Representatives urges Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) to recuse himself from the David Chipman vote because of the gun control work he and Chipman have done together.

The proclamation was introduced by state Rep. Quang Nguyen (R-Dist. 1).

Breitbart News possesses a copy of the proclamation, which notes Chipman’s “extensive career” in the gun control lobby, “working with organizations whose mission is to erode the Second Amendment and criminalize law-abiding Americans.”

The proclamation then states that Chipman is still associated with a gun control group founded by Sen. Kelly:

David Chipman currently works as a Senior Policy Advisor at Giffords, a gun control pressure group, founded by U.S. Senator Mark Kelly and his wife, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, to aggressively advocate for radical action, including a ban on commonly owned semi-automatic rifles and the imposition of ruinous legal liability on firearm-related companies. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that not only will Sen Kelly recuse himself, but that Mr. Chipman will not be confirmed. We ask that You rid this administration of its rancid bias in Jesus’ Mighty Name!

- “Have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?” (James 2:4)
11.  Breaking News! Georgia Judge Doesn't Immediately Rule on Motions to Dismiss in Ballot Case - The Epoch Times

A judge in Georgia heard motions on June 21 to dismiss a high-profile election case but declined to immediately decide on them.

“I think it’s important that I take a little bit of time to review it and think about it,” Henry County Superior Court Chief Judge Brian Amero, who is presiding over the case, said during a hearing. He noted that there has been a flurry of filings in the case, which asserts there were fraudulent ballots counted during the 2020 election in Fulton County.

The judge didn’t indicate when his decision would be announced.

The petition was originally filed in December 2020. Petitioners cited poll observers talking about what they believed were fake ballots being processed during ballot counting at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and other venues. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office is probing what took place at the arena before, during, and after the election.

County officials argued in filings that the complaint should be dismissed because the petitioners were trying to file an elections contest but failed to meet the requirements to do so. Lawyers for the county argued in court on June 21 that petitioners aren’t entitled to declaratory judgment, that they lack standing, and that they only offered “generalized grievances.”

Lawyers for petitioners countered that their clients, as registered voters, do have standing, and that they aren’t contesting the election. The petition focuses on alleged violations of the voters’ constitutional rights, including equal protection rights. (Read more)

- Father God, we trust that this announcement of a delay in rendering judgment in this case in Georgia is in the center of Your will. We lift up Judge Brian Amero as he weighs the evidence before him, and we ask for Your perfect will to be done in this
ruling, in Your name, amen and amen.

12. Judge Reminds CDC It Doesn't Make the Law in Huge Ruling Against Vaccine Passports - Western Journal

Judge Puts Overreaching CDC in Its Place in Victory for Cruise Lines, Gov. DeSantis

Thanks to one federal judge in Florida, Friday brought a huge victory for those of us hoping to preserve some semblance of American liberty.

Judge Steven Merryday of the Middle District of Florida sided with the state of Florida in a ruling against the CDC’s “sailing orders” that were severely hampering Florida’s cruise industry.

“Never has CDC implemented measures as extensive, disabling, and exclusive as those under review in this action,” Merryday wrote in his ruling. Among the CDC’s strictest orders was a stipulation that 98 percent of crew members and 95 percent of passengers be vaccinated, according to WFLA-TV.

“This order finds that Florida is highly likely to prevail on the merits of the claim that CDC’s conditional sailing order and the implementing orders exceed the authority delegated to CDC.” (Read more)

13. Christian pastor killed over outreach to Muslims: ‘Today Allah has judged you’ – Christian Post

A radical Muslim has confessed to police in Uganda that he killed a 70-year-old pastor earlier this month because of Allah’s word to kill all infidels who mislead Muslims by sharing the Gospel.

The accused, identified as Imam Uthman Olingha, told police he killed Bishop Francis Obo, senior pastor of Mpingire Pentecostal Revival Church Ministries International in Odapako village Mpingire Sub-County, on June 11, Morning Star News reported.

Olingha was one of the Muslim extremists dressed in Islamic attire who stopped Pastor Obo and his wife on their way home from a market at about 8:30 p.m., his wife, Christine Obo, said.

“Olingha openly confessed (to police) that he can’t regret that he killed the bishop because he did it in the cause of Allah’s word to kill all infidels who mislead Muslims. He added that Allah will be with him in jail, but the kafiri (infidel) deserved the killing.”

One of the attackers told the pastor, who oversaw 17 churches across the region and had been sharing Christ with Muslims, that he was an “infidel” who caused Muslims to leave Islam and “blasphemes the words of Allah,” and that, “Today Allah has judged you.”

Shift of Spiritual Realm, Prayers for Healing Mark Re-United as One Summit

Global prayer leaders say the spiritual realm shifted over Turtle Island, Canada, the United States and Mexico, as intercessors and watchmen extended love, offered forgiveness and released blessings over every tribe, language, people and nation at a summit in Colorado.

At three locations along the Continental Divide, prayer warriors built altars of reconciliation, asked God's blessings and decreed Scripture over the nations during the Re-United as One Summit June 17-19 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

From Israel and at least 15 states including Alaska and Hawaii, watchmen celebrated their diversity in race, tongue and gender with dance, worship, praise and gifts. They declared unity within God's family before heading to a mountain summit in Colorado, while other prayer warriors gathered at locations along the Continental Divide in Mexico and Canada.

At 11,539-foot Hoosier Pass in Colorado, intercessors built an altar of stones from the Holy Land, Africa and states from East to West Coasts and from northern to southern borders. Members of Native American tribes locked arms with brothers and sisters of Black, Brown, red and white skin, declaring love for God and one another as they danced around the altar of stone and read Scriptural decrees.

Communion and worship sealed the summit on Saturday morning which, by divine orchestration, was Juneteenth (June 19), a federal holiday that commemorates the final vestige of African slavery in Texas.

Dr. Venessa Battle, a ministry leader in Kenya and Liberia, highlighted the prophetic significance of hosting the Re-United as One summit on Juneteenth, a new federal holiday.

"We thank God it [Juneteenth] is in place to celebrate a time when God intervened," said Battle. (Charisma News) Read more.

- Father God, we say THANK YOU for all You have brought forth at the Continental Divide this past week. Lord God, we have truly waited years for this moment - a time of true repentance, reconciliation and healing among all the "tribes" in our nation . . . of every color.

We honor, too, the wisdom of the protocol that was established at all three sites during these ceremonies . . . a protocol that has yielded the fruit of the true spirit of unity among us. Thank You, Lord, amen and amen.

Gov. Ron DeSantis' Bill Puts God Back in the Classroom With Morning Time of Silence
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has declared, "You can't be successful without God," and in light of that statement, signed a bill that requires public schools to start each school day with a moment of silence and reflection.

The bill, HB 529, requires first-period teachers to start their classes with one minute (but no more than two minutes) of silence, "during which students may not interfere with other students' participation."

Prayer is not included in the new law nor are teachers allowed to give suggestions on how the students use the time, but the bill does encourage teachers to stress the importance of parents discussing with their children the best use of the time.

"In today's hectic society, too few persons are able to experience even a moment of quiet reflection before plunging headlong into the activities of daily life," the new law states. "Young persons are particularly affected by the absence of an opportunity for a moment of quiet reflection. The Legislature finds that our youth, and society as a whole, would be well served if students in the public schools were afforded a moment of silence at the beginning of each school day."

"Every family in our state should be able to send their children to school and know that they will be protected from harm and be able to practice their faith," DeSantis said during the press conference.

"The idea that you can just push God out of every institution and you can be successful—I am sorry, our Founding Fathers did not believe that," he added, calling the bill's passing an "opportunity to protect religious freedom." (Read more)

Signs & Wonders
Claudette turns deadly as storm pummels southeast
The Gulf Coast and southeastern United States endured the first significant impact of the 2021 hurricane season over the weekend in the form of Tropical Storm Claudette, which formed early Saturday morning after the system made landfall, then weakened to a depression, and regained tropical-storm-force over land again during the early morning hours on Monday.

Claudette turned deadly on Saturday when at least 13 people, including eight children, were killed in Alabama in a crash involving 15 vehicles, The Associated Press reported. The crash occurred on Interstate 65, about 35 miles south of Montgomery, Alabama.

Three additional deaths were reported as a result of Claudette on Saturday, a 24-year-old man and a 3-year-old boy, after a tree fell on their house near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a 23-year-old woman when her car ran off the road into a swollen creek in DeKalb County.

'How Do I Have Two Medical Degrees If I'm Oppressed?': Man Blasts Critical Race Theory With Powerful Speech
Ty Smith, a parent who hosts a weekend radio show in central Illinois, blasted Critical Race Theory (CRT) in a blistering short speech before a crowded district school board meeting, the latest in a growing chorus of frustrated parents who view CRT as an ideology that flies directly in the face of the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Smith began by sharing a personal story from his childhood, in which he and other kids on public assistance were forced to go last to receive lunch during grade school. Smith says, even though he was just in third grade, this caused him to become frustrated at his friends and stop talking to them.

He believes CRT has a similar, faulty mindset. “I’m mad at them for something that wasn’t even their fault… they weren’t looking down on me,” Smith explained. “They didn’t think they were better than me. I’m the one that came up with those false perceptions of what my friends were. Not them,” he said, pointing out the divisive nature of CRT. “Critical Race Theory is pretty much going to be teaching kids to hate each other, how to dislike each other…

Smith disputed some of the central tenants of CRT. “You’re going to deliberately teach kids, ‘this white kid right here got it better than you because he’s white’? You’re going to purposely tell a white kid that black people are all down and oppressed? How do I have two medical degrees if I’m sitting here oppressed?” he said to loud cheers from the crowded meeting. (Faithwire.com) Read more and watch this video by going here.

Special Prayer Request from CHPP:

Today at 4:00 p.m., the Loudoun County Public School System will hold its final Board Meeting of this academic year at its office in Leesburg, VA. The possible adoption of a CRT curriculum is on the program, and a large turnout is expected representing both sides of this argument.

Please pray that the voices of the oppostion be heard and honored, and that those citizens who oppose CRT will be able to state their case clearly. Pray that this group will be shown FAVOR by the Board of Education; and for safety for all who attend this meeting. Bind the spirit of violence that may be unleashed at the site today, and pray for the safety of all who will attend. Finally, PRAY FOR THE DEFEAT OF CRT IN LOUDOUN COUNTY, VIRGINIA. Thank you!

Thoughts for Repentance
Be encouraged! Every small or large act we do to advance His Kingdom is blessed. Be encouraged by this story, passed along by Eunice, our sister in Christ, in Australia:

Back in 1921, a missionary couple named David and Svea Flood went with their two-year-old son from Sweden to the heart of Africa—to what was then called the Belgian Congo. They met up with another young Scandinavian couple, the Ericksons, and the four of them sought God for direction. In those days of much tenderness and devotion and sacrifice, they felt led of the Lord to go out from the main mission station and take the gospel to a remote area. This was a huge step of faith. At the village of N’dolera they were rebuffed by the chief, who would not let them enter his town for fear of alienating the local gods. The two couples opted to go half a mile up the slope and build their own mud huts. Read More

Scripture: You have been…a shelter from the storm. Isaiah 25:4

Lyrics:
The Lord’s our rock, in Him we hide,
A shelter in the time of storm;
Secure whatever ill betide,
A shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain
Oh, Jesus is a rock in a weary land,
A weary land, a weary land;
Oh, Jesus is a rock in a weary land,
A shelter in the time of storm.

A shade by day, defense by night,
A shelter in the time of storm;
No fears alarm, no foes afright,
A shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

The raging storms may round us beat,
A shelter in the time of storm
We’ll never leave our safe retreat,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

O rock divine, O refuge dear,
A shelter in the time of storm;
Be Thou our helper ever near,
A Shelter in the time of storm.

Refrain

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
