Pro-Palestinian rally in Washington seeks end to US aid to Israel
|
|
More than 1,000 rallied Saturday in Washington in support of Palestinians and calling for an end to US aid to Israel. The demonstration on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial came as a ceasefire that ended 11 days of intense fighting between Israel and the terror group Hamas in the Gaza Strip has so far held.
“We are hoping to send a clear message to the United States government that the days of supporting the Israeli state without repercussions are over,” one of the demonstrators, 39-year-old Washington lawyer Sharif Silmi, said as he stood in the crowd where many protesters held red, white, green and black Palestinian flags.
“We will stand against any politician that continues to fund weapons to Israel. We will oppose them, we will vote against them, we will fund their opponents, until we vote them out of office,” said Silmi.
Lama Alahmad, a resident of neighboring Virginia who is of Palestinian origin, said US public opinion is turning in favor of the Palestinian cause. “There is a huge change” going on in the US with regard to the Palestinian cause seeking a sovereign homeland, said Alahmad. “We just want the world to recognize that we are human beings. We are not terrorists,” said Alahmad, a 43-year-old stay-at-home mother who grew up in the United Arab Emirates before moving to the US around 20 years ago.
Silmi insisted there was now broad opposition in the US to how Israel treats the Palestinians, which he likened to apartheid in South Africa. “People have now woken up, and we’re resisting. Whether young Jews, young Muslims, young Blacks, young whites, there is a generational shift. And people are working across ethnic groups, racial groups, to work for change and freedom and liberation for Palestinian people,” Silmi said. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You that this actual “rally” did not produce the number of people they anticipated. We take authority over this ‘pro-Palestinian’ movement, and command it to fall to the ground. We ask that Your Spirit reveal truth and change minds and hearts. You have commanded us to bless Israel!
- “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)
> > > Another note from CHPP and from Kolyah at Insights for Intercessors:
Praise the Lord! The anti Israel rally in DC was mostly a non event! Less than 1000 of the expected 100,000 showed up. There was a media blackout with no coverage because it was so ridiculously small after the 150,000 who showed up for Trump on Jan 6th. So much for BLM and CAIR’s big event. Our prayers were greatly answered! The report I quoted is the only one appearing. It’s from The Times of Israel. Bless YHVH! Bless all the prayer warriors, who engaged! Praise GOD!

1. Ashkenazi Returns from Egypt: The Circle of Peace is Expanding; But Palestinian Authority Incitement is an Obstacle - Jewish Press
Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi returned late Sunday afternoon from Cairo, where he met with his Egyptian counterpart, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, at Tahrir Palace, the official guest house of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
Ashkenazi expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s historic role in the breakthrough for peace between Israel and its neighbors, and for its concern for regional security stability and thanked him for Egypt’s commitment to the issue.
The two ministers discussed the challenges of preventing Hamas from intensifying its control over the Gaza Strip.
“We will not allow a situation in which rehabilitation in the Gaza Strip will allow Hamas to rebuild its terrorist capabilities and without resolving the issue of returning the prisoners and missing persons held by the Hamas terrorist organization,” Ashkenazi said. (Read more)

2. Shin Bet fears violence against Lapid, Bennett, and Shaked - Israel National News
The Shin Bet warned today (Monday) of an increase in incitement against the chairman of Yesh Atid, MK Yair Lapid, and senior members of the Yamina party, MKs Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked, who are working to form a unity government.
According to a report on the Haaretz website, the Shin Bet ordered the police and the Knesset Guard to increase security around Bennett and Shaked to level 5 - one level below the highest level of security.
The Shin Bet fears that protesters will break into the Yamina leaders' houses, throw firebombs, and even assault them and their families. (Read more)

3. Bennett's decision to oust Netanyahu is Israel's first step to sanity - Jerusalem Post
Israelis witnessed the beginning of change on Sunday night, a taste of what a national reset can look like.
There is still plenty that can go wrong – Yamina members can still jump ship until the new government is sworn in, and Ra’am leader Mansour Abbas can still get cold feet – but the disparity between the way Naftali Bennett and Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation tells the whole story.
Bennett spoke like a uniter, someone who believes in bringing people together. The story of Israeli politics from now on, he explained, is not about “me, but about us. We will restore the ‘us’ that was Israel’s secret weapon from its establishment. All parties are invited to join in this government.”
When Bennett finished, Netanyahu delivered his own address, and the difference was glaring: while Bennett’s speech was about hope, Netanyahu projected desperation and gloom. (Read more)

4. Lapid, Bennett said hoping to tell Rivlin Tuesday they can form government - Times of Israel
Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid and Yamina chief Naftali Bennett are optimistic about their prospects for forming a power-sharing government that will replace Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as premier, according to a television report Monday, though several potential roadblocks appeared to emerge on their route to securing a ruling majority.
The two hope to inform President Reuven Rivlin on Tuesday that they are able to form a government, with the aim of having it sworn next week on June 9, Channel 12 reported. Lapid, who is currently tasked with forming a government, has until Wednesday night to tell Rivlin he can do so.
The parties were earlier reported to have made “significant progress” following overnight coalition talks, after Bennett’s announcement Sunday that he will seek to form a government with Netanyahu’s political opponents. Lapid predicted during a faction meeting that Netanyahu is on the verge of being ousted, but acknowledged that “obstacles” remain. (Read more)

5. Deal-making for unity government goes on through most of the night - World Israel News
Yesh Atid party negotiators sat until 3 a.m. Monday with the three remaining parties in the unity government they hope to form following Yemina head Naftali Bennett’s announcement Sunday evening that he had given up on forming a coalition with the Likud.
“Significant progress” with the Yemina, Blue and White and New Hope factions was reported by Hebrew media, but there are still several gaps to be narrowed as the deal-making continues Monday.
Some of the demands the right-wing New Hope and Yemina parties are making would force Lapid to break promises he made to Labor, Meretz and Israel Beiteinu in order to lock down their support.
For example, Bennett’s No. 2, MK Ayelet Shaked, is set to receive the Interior Ministry. But she wants to fold the Negev and Galilee Development portfolio into her purview although it has been slated for Israel Beiteinu. Another disputed office is the Diaspora Ministry, which was secured days ago by the Labor party. (Read more)

1. Biden sends Xi, Putin warning while remembering son Beau, fallen troops in Memorial Day speech - Fox
President Biden sent a warning to the presidents of China and Russia during his Memorial Day address on Sunday.
"I had a long conversation for two hours recently with [Chinese] President Xi [Jinping], making it clear to him we could do nothing but speak out for human rights around the world because that's who we are," Biden said. "I'll be meeting with [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin in a couple weeks in Geneva making it clear that we will not stand by and let him abuse those rights."
Biden spoke at a Memorial Day service in Delaware on Sunday morning, where he offered comfort to the families of fallen service members and paid tribute to his late son Beau Biden, who served in the Iraq War.
"It's also an important tradition in our family. As many of you know, this is a hard day for us. Six years ago today … I lost my son. In the first year of his passing back in 2016, Gen. [Frank] Vavala did a great honor in inviting us to a ceremony renaming the Delaware National Guard headquarters in Beau's honor." (Read more)
- Lord, let Your Spirit stop Biden from doing anything against the US, as he tries to talk tough with these leaders. He has already made both of them angry, so we ask Your protection against retaliation or deceit. Let nothing they say to him cause him to cave in to their demands or do anything that would continue to harm the US.
- “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17a)

2. Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors to step down amid questions about finances – Yahoo News
Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors is stepping down from her role as executive director of the activist group’s central foundation amid questions about her finances.
Cullors, 37, told the Associated Press on Thursday that she was leaving the position to focus on other projects, including the release of her second book and a television deal with Warner Bros. She held the top post at Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation for more than five years.
The activist said she had created "the necessary bones and foundation" at the organization and felt the "time is right" to leave. She asserted that her exit was planned for more than a year and was unrelated to scrutiny regarding her personal finances.
"Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks of me," Cullors said.
Cullors' finances drew attention in April after the New York Post reported she had purchased four homes for $3.2 million. The report prompted Hawk Newsome, the head of Black Lives Matter Greater New York City, to call for an "independent investigation" into the foundation’s finances. The two organizations are not affiliated. (Read more.)
- Lord, we thank You that this situation has been revealed and that she has resigned. Too many people have fallen for this deception. We ask that You continue to reveal the lies so that all will know the underlying truth for an organization that does not help anyone.
- “No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.” (Psalm 101:7)

3. WATCH: Joe Biden Stops Dead in Middle of Speech and Delivers Creepiest Comment to Little Girl- Trending Politics
Joe Biden was in Virginia today with “blackface” Democratic governor Ralph Northam to tout his budget-busting economic plan, which is filled with massive spending and huge tax increases.
In the midst of selling the budgetary atrocity, he delivered one of the creepiest comments to a little girl, who is the daughter of a veteran, no less.
“I’m honored to be joined today by Governor Northam, by two great representatives of the Commonwealth, Congressman Luria and Congressman Scott,” Biden said. “And I want to thank you for all that you do to represent these service veterans, because they are devoted to you. Their family members, caregivers, survivors, all call Virginia home.”
Biden then said he was ‘honored’ to share the stage with a veteran’s family, whom he named off before making a truly lecherous comment.
“I just love the barrettes in her hair now,” he said. “I tell you what, by the look of her, she looks like she’s 19 years old, sitting there like a little lady with her legs crossed.”
Those who saw Biden’s remark on social media expressed their revulsion. (Read more)
- Father, we rebuke the spirits of lust, greed, pride, and other works of the flesh in Biden and command them all to be silent. Lord, we pray that You would in Your mercy, release our nation from the Democrat agendas and protect our children by Your Power.

4. Report: Twitter War Has California Democrat Sleeping With Gun By Her Bed- Daily Wire
A California congresswoman says she started sleeping with a 9-millimeter pistol by her bed after getting into a Twitter beef with a Central American leader.
U.S. Rep. Norma Torres, a Democrat from Pomona, California, told the Los Angeles Times that the social media feud with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele started after she spoke out about the migrant crisis. She said tensions have escalated to the point where she is concerned for her safety.
“I need to do everything I can do to protect myself in my home,” Torres said.
An immigrant from Guatemala, Torres, 56, is the only member of Congress born in Central America. She said she became a target for harassment for calling out “dictators” from the Northern Triangle of countries in that region, which include Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. The Times reported that Torres “has worked to put restrictions on military aid” to those nations and has urged President Joe Biden not to send funding to the central governments she deems corrupt.
“These three countries have set an example for all of Latin America that it is OK for presidents, for congresses, to sit on their hands and watch their children die en route to our southern border,” Torres told The Times. (Read more.)
- Lord, we ask Your Mighty protection over this woman, and let no harm come to her. We surround her with Your angelic host, that she would see Your protection. May Your Spirit change her life and her thoughts.

5. ‘We Are Going To Expose You’: Vets Crenshaw, Cotton Create Whistleblower Doc To Combat ‘Woke’ Efforts In U.S. Military – Daily Wire
On Saturday, Arkansas GOP Sen. Tom Cotton and Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw, both military veterans, teamed up to release a whistleblower form for military members to fill out if they spot any “woke” training efforts.
Crenshaw tweeted, “Enough is enough. We won’t let our military fall to woke ideology. We have just launched a whistleblower webpage where you can submit your story. Your complaint will be legally protected, and go to my office and @SenTomCotton.”
Crenshaw added, “With written permission we will anonymously publish egregious complaints on social media and tell the country what’s happening in our military. For too long, progressive Pentagon staffers have been calling the shots for our warfighters, and spineless military commanders have let it happen. Now we are going to expose you.” (Read more)
- Lord, we ask that ALL foolish ideas be removed from our military so that they may complete their true tasks. We pray for a fresh wind of Your Spirit to flow through all military branches, cleansing, giving renewed minds. We especially pray for Your protection over Rep Crenshaw and Senator Cotton, that no harm will come to them or backlash from this action.
- “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)

6. Black Lives Matter St. Paul Founder Says He ‘Resigned’ After Learning the ‘Ugly Truth’ – The Epoch Times
A Black Lives Matter chapter founder in Minnesota has resigned, claiming that the organization isn’t concerned about helping black communities or helping improve the education quality in Minneapolis, according to a video published last week.
Rashard Turner, the founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter in neighboring St. Paul, said he started the branch in 2015 but became disillusioned roughly a year after becoming “an insider” within the left-wing organization, according to a video released by TakeCharge—a group that rejects various provisions promoted by Black Lives Matter, including critical race theory-linked claims that the United States is inherently racist.
“After a year on the inside, I learned they had little concern for rebuilding black families, and they cared even less about improving the quality of education for students in Minneapolis,” Turner said in the video.
“That was made clear when they publicly denounced charter schools alongside the teachers union. I was an insider in Black Lives Matter. And I learned the ugly truth. The moratorium on charter schools does not support rebuilding the black family. But it does create barriers to a better education for black children. I resigned from Black Lives Matter after a year and a half. But I didn’t quit working to improve black lives and access to a great education.” (Read more)
- Lord, thank You that this man saw the lies and walked away from them. We pray that with Your help, he will be able to truly help his community and not be deceived by the noise of the leftists. Let there be a move of Your Holy Spirit for repentance and heart change across all communities in the United States.
- “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.” (Proverbs 12:22)

7. (In Texas) Democrats Storm Off of House Floor in Last-Ditch Effort to Block Election Integrity Bill – Western Journal
Democrats won a round Sunday night in their efforts to block a Texas election reform law.
However, after a stunt in which Democrats left the state House chamber to short-circuit the bill’s expected passage, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, an outspoken conservative, called for a special session during which the legislation could be considered.
“I declared Election Integrity and Bail Reform to be must-pass emergency items for this legislative session. It is deeply disappointing and concerning for Texans that neither will reach my desk,” Abbott said in a statement posted on his website.
“Ensuring the integrity of our elections and reforming a broken bail system remain emergencies in Texas. They will be added to the special session agenda. Legislators will be expected to have worked out the details when they arrive at the Capitol for the special session,” Abbott said. (Read more)
- Father, we pray that the special session requested by Texas Governor Abbott would occur soon. We pray that Your wisdom and power would come to bear against the plans of the Democrats. We ask for true integrity in all aspects of the political realm.

8. U.S. monitoring Iranian warships that may be headed to Venezuela- Politico
The U.S. national security community is monitoring two Iranian naval vessels whose ultimate destination may be Venezuela, according to three people familiar with the situation, in what would be a provocative move at a tense moment in U.S.-Iran relations.
An Iranian frigate and the Makran, a former oil tanker that was converted to a floating forward staging base, have been heading south along the east coast of Africa, said the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive subject.
U.S. officials do not know for sure the destination of the Iranian ships, these officials said, but believe they may be ultimately headed for Venezuela. Iran’s intent in sending the vessels in the direction of the Western Hemisphere remains a mystery, the people said, as does their cargo. (Read more)
- Father, we pray for wisdom for our leadership and a halt to anything Iran may be attempting to do that would destabilize an already volatile region.

9. White House rebuffs DHS secretary's comments on possible vaccine passport – Washington Examiner
The White House tamped down the speculation surrounding vaccine passports Friday, reiterating past opposition to a federal mandate requiring people to obtain one.
"We haven't moved on our stance on this," principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated while gaggling with reporters on Air Force One. "There will be no federal vaccination database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential."
The question was prompted by comments that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made earlier in the day about how the administration was considering vaccine passport candidates for future international travel. (Read more)
- Lord, we are wary of this statement, based on the ever-changing political scene with the Biden administration. We ask that Your freedom prevail over anything that the Democrats may do.

10. Reporters admit dismissing Wuhan lab leak theory in part because Republicans proposed it – Fox
Journalists continued to acknowledge Sunday that the media's longstanding dismissal of the Wuhan "lab-leak" theory was in part due to Republicans pitching it.
Once widely cast aside as a racist "conspiracy theory" and "fringe" nonsense, the possibility that the coronavirus accidentally leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology has gained increasing credence in recent weeks. The saga has led to yet another reckoning for mainstream media journalists about groupthink and bias in the industry. Faced with criticism that they blasted the theory last year for political reasons, some reporters have admitted its Republican origins with figures like Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., former President Donald Trump, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo played into why they disparaged it.
ABC News Washington correspondent Jonathan Karl suggested on ABC's "This Week" Sunday that figures like Trump and Pompeo were not taken seriously by members of the media, saying "now serious people are saying it needs a serious inquiry." (Read more)
- Lord, we are thankful that certain members of the media are now backtracking on their foolish stance against President Trump and Republicans. We ask that Your truth continue to be revealed, and the bias of the media be more and more evident. We ask for repentance in the media, and a change of heart.
- “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Acts 3:19)

11. Children ‘butchered to death’ by Fulani herders in attacks on Nigeria’s Christian villages - Christian Post
Last Sunday (May 23), suspected Fulani herdsmen brutally killed dozens of Christians, including children and eight members of one family, in attacks on Christian villages in Nigeria’s Plateau State, according to reports. In one attack, suspected armed jihadist herdsmen "butchered to death" 14 Christians, including children, in Kwi village in Riyom County near Jos, Morning Star News reported, quoting area resident Solomon Mandiks, a Christian rights activist.
Then, in a separate attack the same day, eight Christians were killed in Dong village in Jos North County, Asabe Samuel, a member of the local Evangelical Church Winning All congregation, was quoted as saying. “I was by the central area of the village, which has shops and serves as a market, when I heard Fulani gunmen shooting around my house,” Samuel said. “This forced us to run to hide.”
Samuel added that despite the gunshots being shot from the direction of her house, “I still rushed to my house, and just as I was getting closer to my house, I found that one Istifanus Shehu, 40, a member of COCIN (Church of Christ in Nations) . . . was shot dead, and his corpse was lying beside my house. We heard the attackers retreating and shouting ‘Allahu Akbar (Allah is greater).’ The herdsmen were also communicating with themselves in the Fulani language.”
Police arrived the following morning, Pastor Jonathan Kyoomnom Bala of the ECWA church in Dong, was quoted as saying. “These herdsmen carried out the attack on us for about 40 minutes and left without intervention from soldiers or the police,” he said.
Before the 22 Christians were killed Sunday, 15 others were murdered by suspected herdsmen last month in the same state. The U.S.-based persecution watchdog group International Christian Concern designates the Fulani Militia as the fourth deadliest terror group in the world and says it has surpassed Boko Haram as the greatest threat to Nigerian Christians. REMEMBER
The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, Monday, May 31st, 2021
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
“A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
“A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
“What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
These verses taken from Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 define the seasons of life, living life. There is a time for war, and a time for peace. This day, we celebrate as Memorial Day, let us have a time to remember. In your reflections, may you remember the sacrifice of our Messiah that we might live free of spiritual bondage. May you remember the blood shed by those valiant men and women who dedicate their lives that we might live free from physical bondage. Remember still those who might try to take both from us. Reflect on how living life may be without such true liberty and what you would do should someone try to take it from you.

Italy's Mount Etna Spews Lava In Dawn Eruption
|
|
Sicily's Mount Etna erupted again in the early hours of Sunday, spewing lava and releasing thick plumes of ash. According to a statement by the National Institute for Geophysics and Volcanology, the explosions originated from Etna's southeastern crater. The eruption plume reached a height of about 6.5 km (4 miles) above sea level.
There was no impact on the operations of the nearby Catania international airport.
Etna is the largest of Italy's three active volcanoes which also include Stromboli, on the Sicilian island of the same name, and Vesuvius near Naples, which last erupted in 1944.
Etna is a popular tourist destination attracting hikers eager to see its extraordinary lava flows which glow orange at night. (Read more)

Alabama House and Senate Pass 'Born-Alive' Bill to Protect Abortion Survivors
|
|
"There is no such thing as post-birth abortion," said the bill's sponsor, State Rep. Ginny Shaver (R). "Think about those three words. That's infanticide."
"That's what it is and what my bill does is in this situation where a child survives an abortion attempt and is born alive, it would require a physician to exercise the same reasonable care to preserve the life of the child that is born alive," she continued. "When this happens, if there is any sign of breathing or any other sign of life … there would then exist a doctor-patient relationship between the doctor and the child so that he would be required to exercise the same degree of physical skill and care to make an effort to reasonably preserve the life and health of that child."
While opponents of the bill, or any born-alive bill introduced in recent years, claim such a law is unnecessary because infanticide is illegal, many babies who survive abortion are not actively killed but rather, are left to die. As pointed out by the National Review, it is not illegal, under either federal law or Alabama law, for an abortionist to neglect a baby who has survived his attempt to abort her. Under this law, the abortionist would be required to provide medical care to that child.
Despite the abortion industry's claims that abortion survivors don't exist, babies have been surviving abortions for decades, including Jessen, who survived an abortion at Planned Parenthood in 1977. In 2016, across just three states, 40 babies survived an abortion attempt on their lives.

What a friend we have in Jesus
To listen to this classic hymn, CLICK HERE
Words: Joseph Scriven
Music: Charles Converse
Scripture: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
Lyrics:
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you;
You will find a solace there.
Blessèd Savior, Thou hast promised
Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing
All to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded
There will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.

|
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God."
