Biden Administration Warns Cubans, Haitians Against Sailing to US: ‘Do Not Risk Your Life’
|
|
Cubans and Haitans should not try using boats to migrate to the United States, a top Biden administration official said Tuesday. “The time is never right to attempt migration by sea. To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking. Allow me to be clear: if you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, a Cuban native, told a press conference in Washington.
“Again, I repeat: do not risk your life attempting to enter the United States illegally. You will not come to the United States,” he added. Protests in Cuba and Haiti against the ruling regimes started in recent days. U.S. officials have said they support the Cuban and Haitan people but that does not include welcoming them to America, Mayorkas made clear.
“We are acting in furtherance of our humanitarian obligations to people around the world, and the humanitarian message to the people of Cuba is, do not take to the seas. People die when they try to migrate in the maritime channel regularly,” he said.
Twenty people have died as a result of maritime attempts to migrate to the United States in recent weeks.
Coast Guard ships continually patrol the Florida straits and the Caribbean Sea, and the Guard has recently deployed air assets to survey the seas for approaching vessels. The Guard’s Rear Adm. Eric Jones offered a similar warning on Sunday, saying officials are “monitoring any activity that may indicate increases in unsafe and illegal maritime migration,” including from Cuba.
So far, no surge in attempted migration either by land or sea of Cubans or Haitians has been seen, officials said. U.S. officers said they’re prepared to deal with a surge if it happens. (Epoch Times) Read more here.

1. Dozens of Hamas terrorists arrested in Binyamin region - Israel National News
Following extensive intelligence and operational efforts, IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israel Border Police troops apprehended dozens of terrorists in the village of Turmus Aya, north of Ramallah.
The terrorists belong to the Hamas terror organization's student cell at Birzeit University.
Some of the apprehended terrorists were directly involved in terror activities, including money transfers, incitement and the organization of Hamas activities in Judea and Samaria, and have been transferred to security forces for further questioning.
A statement from the IDF said, “The operation was made possible due to intelligence and operational preparations and inter-organizational activity of the security forces in the region.” (Read more)

2. 150,000 rockets aimed at Israel. Northern Command head: We have surprises for Hezbollah - Israel National News
The commander of the Northern Command, Major General Amir Baram, said that "We are preparing surprises for Hezbollah's 'surprises.' The next war will be complex for us but unbearable for them. "
It is estimated that the terrorist army has between 130-150 thousand rockets and missiles capable of hitting any point in Israel, at distances between 15 and 700 kilometers, at a rate of ten thousand launches a week.
In light of this, units in the armored and engineering corps have recently undergone the 'Northern Threshold' test to measure required preparedness for the next war in Lebanon.
The test, which lasts a week, was built to train young fighters and commanders who have not experienced combat and to best prepare for aggressive and deadly maneuvering in enemy territory. (Read more)

3. IDF Reveals Site of Arms Depot in Ebba, a Central Lebanese Village - Jewish Press
On Tuesday this week (July 13) Israel marked the anniversary of the 2006 Second Lebanon War with Hezbollah, the Iranian proxy terror group that now controls Lebanese territory.
The next day, the Israel Defense Forces exposed the coordinates to an arms depot identified by Israeli intelligence, located around 25 meters from a school in the central Lebanese village of Ebba.
In that building next to the school, Hezbollah is storing explosives with approximately half the destructive power of the mammoth blast at the Port of Beirut that leveled at least a third of the buildings in the Lebanese capital in August 2020, the IDF said. It is not clear what precisely is being stored at the warehouse in Ebba, however.
Once again, Hezbollah – like its partner in Gaza, Hamas – is using local civilians, even children, as human shields to protect the four-story arms cache across the street from the Ebba Public School. (Read more)

4. Bennett to Meet Biden in Washington Next Month, Iran Top of Agenda - Algemeiner
i24 News – Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will fly to Washington in August for his first face-to-face meeting with US President Joe Biden since taking office in June, reports Israel’s Channel 12 news.
Iran will reportedly be the premier’s top agenda item to discuss at the White House, including Israeli concerns about the Islamic Republic’s incoming president, Ebrahim Raisi, with the hardliner set to take the helm in early August.
Bennett is reportedly considering taking the US trip on a weekend so as not to risk missing any votes in the Knesset (Israel Parliament) as the new “change bloc” coalition is held together by a razor thin margin, meaning every vote counts.
Biden phoned Bennett after Israel’s new government was sworn in last month, saying that Washington remained committed to Israel’s security and would work closely with its new government. (Read more)

5. Turkey’s ruling party says ties with Israel to improve after presidents’ call - Times of Israel
Israel and Turkey have agreed to work to improve their strained relations, the latter’s ruling party said Wednesday, two days after a phone call between the two countries’ presidents.
A spokesman for Turkish President Recep Erdogan’s AK Party said that in the wake of the call with President Isaac Herzog, a “framework emerged” to improve ties between Ankara and Jerusalem, Reuters reported.
Celik said that Turkey wanted to discuss the Palestinian situation with Israel and that areas such as increased trade and tourism would be a “win-win” for both sides. (Read more)

1. US Consumer Prices Surge in June, Inflation Climbs to 13-year High - EPoch Times
U.S. consumer prices rose by the most in 13 years in June amid supply constraints and a continued rebound in the costs of travel-related services from pandemic-depressed levels as the economic recovery gathered momentum.
The consumer price index increased 0.9 percent last month, the largest gain since June 2008, after advancing 0.6 percent in May, the Labor Department said on Tuesday.
In the 12 months through June, the CPI jumped 5.4 percent. That was the largest gain since August 2008 and followed a 5.0 percent increase in the 12 months through May. Excluding the volatile food and energy components, the CPI accelerated 0.9 percent after increasing 0.7 percent in May.
The so-called core CPI surged 4.5 percent on a year-on-year basis, the largest increase since November 1991, after rising 3.8 percent in May. Annual inflation rates have been boosted by the dropping of last spring’s weak readings from the CPI calculation. These so-called base effects are leveling off. (Read more)

2. Benefits of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines Outweigh Risk of Heart Inflammation: WHO Vaccine Safety Committee - Epoch Times
Benefits from the messenger RNA COVID-19 vaccines outweigh the risk of heart inflammation, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) vaccine safety committee has said in its updated guidance.
After reviewing all currently available information and despite evidence suggesting a likely association between heart inflammation and the emergency use mRNA vaccine, the WHO’s Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety (GACVS) announced on July 9 that the benefits of the vaccines continue to outweigh the risks of myocarditis and pericarditis to the individual.
Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle, while pericarditis is inflammation of the lining that surrounds the heart. The inflammatory condition can occur following an mRNA vaccine or as a result of infection with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus that causes the disease COVID-19. (Read more)

3. Judicial Watch Asks Court to Order USPS to Disclose Social Media Snooping Documents - Epoch Times
A nonprofit government watchdog is suing in federal court to force the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to produce copies of documents on its tracking of social media posts about planned political protests.
The suit, filed by Judicial Watch in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, is based on the group’s April 28 U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and the failure of USPS to respond by the required deadline.
In its original request, Judicial Watch asked for all documents related to multiple aspects of the government’s activity that is reportedly known as the Internet Covert Operations Program (ICOP), including:

4. Over 5,000 Sign Pledge to Continue Teaching Critical Race Theory Even if Outlawed - Epoch Times
Over 5,000 people have signed a petition (pdf) at the Zinn Education Project that states they vow to continue to teach controversial critical race theory (CRT) concepts to their students, even if outlawed in their state, amid growing backlash from parents against the teaching of CRT in their children’s schools. The petition requires one to declare their role as a “teacher, principal, librarian, etc.” but their roles are not displayed under their names and comments.
Many of the signees appear to be teachers, but one identified as “a former student teacher and activist” and another said they “used to be a Public School teacher.”
The Zinn Education Project produces history lessons based on books by Marxist writer Howard Zinn, including “A People’s History of the United States.” The materials are offered free to K-12 teachers across the country. (Read more)

5. White House Occupant Delivers Angry Speech in Philadelphia Demanding All Resources Must Activate to Defend His Legitimacy - The Conservative Treehouse
The speech Joe Biden delivered Tuesday in Philadelphia was not the rant of a righteous or confident man. Instead the speech was a bitter, angry and divisive plea for help from those extreme leftists who supported his installation.
The need for control is a reaction to fear. That fear was what Biden displayed above all other attributes. A fear that more American people will begin to see the false construct of his installation. A fear that those who perpetrated the fraud of his election will be exposed because the scale of their manipulation is far too great to continue hiding.
The fear that a small amount of actual investigation, with more audits looming, will reveal how a few key corrupt counties coordinated a massive election fraud. Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, the location of Tuesday’s sanctimonious diatribe -delivered by a naked emperor- was the location of the largest fraud. 6. Marco Rubio on Cuba: Call It by Its Name, ‘Communist,’ ‘Marxist,’ ‘Socialist Tyranny’ - Brietbart
“We should be clear in our language,” Rubio said during a speech on the Senate floor. “We don’t just condemn this tyranny. We condemn this communist, this Marxist, this socialist tyranny. Call it for what it is.”
Rubio noted the Cuban government’s interdiction of goods and services entering the one-party island state while remarking on trade with Cuba. He stated:
“You can open up all you want. We can pass a bill here that says, “Open to Cuba. A hundred percent open.” Full free trade, you can do whatever you want. At the end of the day, the Cuban regime will control that opening. It’s not just what we want to do, it’s what they want to do.
You want to do tourism? We tried that in 2015 [with] the Obama changes and you know what they did, they said, ‘Thank you. We love the fact you’re coming here as [tourists].” Guess what? All the tourist sites are owned by a holding company named GAESA controlled by the Cuban military, so everything comes through [their] hands.
You want to send them food? That’s great. Guess who gets it? Acopio, which is a government military-owned agriculture company. You can’t sell it to a small grocery store in Cuba, or even a food wholesaler. It goes to the Cuban government.” (Read more)

7. Senate Democrats reach $3.5 trillion budget agreement - AP News
Senate Democrats announced late Tuesday that they’d reached a budget agreement envisioning spending an enormous $3.5 trillion over the coming decade, paving the way for their drive to pour federal resources into climate change, health care and family-service programs sought by President Joe Biden.
The accord marks a major step in the party’s push to meet Biden’s goal of bolstering an economy that was ravaged by the pandemic and setting it on course for long-term growth — and includes a Medicare expansion of vision, hearing and dental benefits for older Americans, a goal of progressives.
But Democrats behind the agreement face possible objections from their rival moderate and progressive factions, and will have to work hard to convert their plans into legislation they can push through the closely divided Congress over what could be unanimous Republican opposition. “We are very proud of this plan,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., told reporters. “We know we have a long road to go. We’re going to get this done for the sake of making average Americans’ lives a whole lot better.” (Read more)

8. House Republicans Blow Away Democrat Counterparts in Record-Shattering Fundraising Quarter - Brietbart
The record numbers, announced Wednesday morning by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), represent the most successful fundraising quarter the House GOP campaign arm has ever had in its history.
“We will take back the majority next fall and voters are doing everything they can to help us accomplish that goal,” NRCC chairman Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) said in a statement obtained by Breitbart News ahead of its public release. “Our record-breaking fundraising total wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of Leader Kevin McCarthy, Whip Steve Scalise, our Republican conference, and the tens of thousands of generous donors who have contributed to our mission. Every vulnerable House Democrat should be eyeing the exits because if they choose to run, they will lose.”
The GOP numbers come out a week after Democrats announced an eye-popping $36.5 million of their own raised by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) this past quarter. While not an unimpressive haul—and a record-setter for Democrats in their own right— the Democrat numbers fell well short, in fact nearly $10 million short, of the GOP cash haul. (Read more)

9. Trump releases statement after bombshell report released on Georgia ballots - DML News
Former President Donald Trump has responded to a stunning report that came out Tuesday regarding mail-in absentee ballots from Fulton County, Georgia in the Nov. 3, 2020 election.
The report by a group called VoterGA, along with its founder Garland Favorito, alleges that there was “a whopping 60%” error rate in Fulton County’s hand count audit held on November 14 and 15, 2020.
Wednesday morning, Trump released the following statement on the VoterGA report:
The news coming out of Georgia is beyond incredible. The hand recount in Fulton County was a total fraud! They stuffed the ballot box – and got caught. We will lose our Country if this is allowed to stand.
According to the just released report from Garland Favorito and the highly respected VoterGA, in Fulton County the hand recount was wrong by 60%; 100,000 tally sheets for ballots were missing; they duplicated thousands of extra votes for Joe Biden; and fabricated vote counts of 100-0 for Biden, many times! Ballot batch sheets fraudulently showed multiple unanimous 100-0 counts for Biden, as well as 150-0, and 200-0. Are we now in a Third World country? What else will they find once the full Forensic Audit takes place? (Read more)

. Biden State Department waives sanctions on Iranian oil trade, freeing up cash assets in Asia - Just The News
The State Department is waiving sanctions on Iranian oil trade, allowing the Middle Eastern nation to access funds that were formerly frozen in South Korea and Japan. The decision, signed off on by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, will permit the “transfer of Iranian funds in restricted accounts to exporters in Japan and Republic of Korea,” according to the statement that was delivered Tuesday to Congress.
The waiver reads: "Allowing these funds to be used to repay exporters in these jurisdictions will make those entities whole with respect to the goods and services they exported to Iran, address a recurring irritant in important bilateral relationships, and decrease Iran’s foreign reserves."
The Biden administration and Iran have spent months attempting to negotiate a new version of the Obama-era nuclear deal, which will roll back even more Trump-era sanctions on Iran. (Read more)

There is a whole lot of Stupidocrisy going on with President Joe and the COVID band. The government is so desperate to get you to take the COVID vaccine that your faith, your sanity, your love for family and fellow mankind, even your patriotism comes into question. Yet a close look at the actual statistics in the past two weeks indicate that there are more people in the US now dying from the vaccination than from COVID. The White House says it will not mandate the vaccine, but it supports communities and businesses that do mandate it. Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things come the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” This is good advice with all that’s going on.
In his July 5 Independence Day speech, which maybe the President is confused about Independence Day being July 4th, Joe Biden said, “Don’t get me wrong, COVID-19 is–has not been vanquished. We all know powerful variants have emerged, like the Delta variant, but the best defense against these variants is to get vaccinated. My fellow Americans, it’s the most patriotic thing you can do. So, please, if you haven’t gotten vaccinated, do it — do it now for yourself, for your loved ones, for your community, and for your country.” A day later, Biden said, “Study after study after study has shown that, since early May, virtually every COVID-19 hospitalization and death in the United States has been among the unvaccinated.” Read More

School Board Recall Efforts to Combat Critical Race Theory Teachings Surge: Report
|
|
|
Republican efforts to ward off critical race theory in education have led to an increase in attempts to recall school board members nationally, Ballotpedia reported.
At least 51 local recall efforts targeting at least 130 elected members on K-12 school boards have been initiated in the first six months of this year. That's more than twice the annual average, according to Ballotpedia.
Between 2006-2020, there were a yearly average of 23 recall efforts against 52 school board members, according to Ballotpedia.
California leads in the 2021 recall effort, with 22 of the current situations occuring in the Golden State. Arizona (six) and Idaho (four) follow in the number of recall efforts, Axios reported.
This year's recall efforts have centered around mask requirements, and ridding schools of critical race theory. Previously, school board recalls tended to stem from disputes over mismanagement, open meeting violations, or allegations of corruption, according to Axios. (Read more)

As was the case with Gideon, He uses the least obvious person, the seemingly weakest, to advance His Kingdom.
