Texas Now Investigating 386 More Cases of Voter Fraud, Attorney General Tells CPAC
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton told an audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on July 11 that his office is investigating nearly 400 more cases of voter fraud and told audience members that concern about election fraud isn’t overblown.

The 386 cases that are being investigated come in addition to more than 500 cases that his office has prosecuted, Paxton said, without elaborating on the details of some of the cases.

“Do not believe the narrative because in Texas we are going to fight election fraud,” Paxton said, adding that Republicans would have struggled during election day last year if his office didn’t stop local election officials from breaking rules around balloting.

Referring to claims that voter fraud doesn’t exist—made typically by Democrats—the Republican attorney general described it as a false narrative.

“People tell you there is no election fraud. Let me just tell you right now, my office has 511 counts in court because of COVID waiting to be heard. We have another 386 that we’re investigating,” he told the CPAC audience in Texas. “If you add those together, that’s more election fraud than my office has prosecuted since it started investigating election fraud years and years ago. So do not believe the narrative, because in Texas we are going to fight election fraud.”

In June, Paxton announced that his office is investigating 500 cases that, according to him, are “waiting to be heard in court.” (Read more)

Lord, we Praise You for this news, and ask that truth be revealed in every corner. Let anyone who committed such fraud be brought to account.

FOCUS ON ISRAEL

1. Bennett: Israel ‘on alert’ over Lebanon crisis - Jerusalem Post

Israel is monitoring the crisis in Lebanon to ensure it does not spill over the border, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Sunday.
“Lebanon is on the verge of collapse, like every country that Iran takes over,” he said at the opening of the cabinet meeting. “The citizens of Lebanon are paying a heavy price for the Iranian takeover of the country.”

Israel is “watching the situation closely… and we will continue to be on alert,” he added.

The IDF and Israel Police prevented an attempt to smuggle weapons from Lebanon into Israel last Friday, which Bennett cited as “one of many examples.”
Security forces detained suspects who had 43 pistols in their possession at Ghajar, the Alawite-Arab village astride the border between Lebanon and the Israeli Golan. An investigation was underway to determine whether Hezbollah was involved, the IDF said. (Read more)

2. Smuggled guns from Lebanon were meant for terror; largest bust in years - Times of Israel

Israeli security officials believe dozens of weapons seized on the Lebanese border overnight as they were being smuggled into the country were destined to be used in terror attacks inside Israel, according to television reports on Saturday.

According to Kan and Channel 13 news, officials believe the weapons and ammunition were meant for Arab Israeli terror operatives, with backing from Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.

Security officials told Channel 13 the captured cache was “the largest smuggling attempt in years.” Channel 12 was told defense officials couldn’t remember such a significant attempt, in terms of the number of weapons involved and their quality.

Overnight Friday, security forces foiled the attempt to smuggle, from Lebanon into northern Israel, 43 handguns and ammunition worth some NIS 2.7 million (approximately $820,000), according to police estimates. (Read more)

3. 6 shot, 5 terror suspects arrested in Jenin - World Israel News

An undercover IDF unit, with support from Border Police officers, arrested five terror suspects in the PA-controlled city of Jenin during the early hours of Monday morning.

But although the undercover unit successfully entered Jenin without raising suspicions, they engaged in a massive firefight with locals when trying to transport the terror suspects out of the city.

Residents of Jenin opened fire and hurled explosive devices at the troops, Hebrew language media reported.

The IDF returned fire, wounding six Palestinians. Troops seized an M-16 machine gun from one of the men who was shot.

4. Rare ‘Book of Judges’-Era Inscription Found in Southern Israel - Algemeiner

JNS.org – A rare, 3,100-year-old inscription was discovered during excavations in southern Israel, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Monday.

The partial inscription, written in ink on a small pottery jug, was recovered in the Shahariya forest at Khirbat er-Ra‘i, near Kiryat Gat.

The vessel, which can hold approximately one liter (a quart), may have contained oil, perfume or medicine, the IAA said, and the deciphered letters—spelling “Jerubbaal” in alphabetic script dating from around 1,100 BCE—likely pointed to the name of the owner.

Deciphered by epigraphic expert Christopher Rolston of George Washington University in Washington, DC, the inscription shows the Hebrew letters “yod” (broken at the top), “resh,” ”bet,” “ayin,” “lamed” and remnants of other letters, indicating that the original was longer.

“The name Jerubbaal is familiar from biblical tradition in the Book of Judges as an alternative name for the Judge Gideon ben Yoash,” explained archaeologists Yossef Garfinkel and Sa’ar Ganor, two of four directors of the excavations, which have been held every summer since 2015 on behalf of the IAA, the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. 5. Church of England to apologize for medieval expulsion of the Jews - Israel National News

The Church of England will apologize for the first time for the expulsion of Jews from medieval England, reported the Telegraph.

Bishops confirmed to the newspaper that the apology will take place, and that the Church of England will offer an “act of repentance” ahead of the marking of the 800th anniversary of the anti-Semitic 1290 Edict of Expulsion.

The Edict was a royal decree issued by King Edward I of England on July 18, 1290 that expelled every Jew from the kingdom. In the order, the king notified the sheriffs of every country that all Jews were to be expelled by November 1.

The expulsion was not overturned until 1657 when Oliver Cromwell allowed the Jews to return to England. (Read more)

1. New Evidence Indicates Enough Illegal Votes In Georgia To Tip 2020 Results- The Federalist

New evidence indicates that more than 10,300 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — a number that will continue to rise over the next several months, potentially exceeding the 12,670 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
While this evidence does not change the fact that Joe Biden is our president, all Americans who genuinely care about free and fair elections and the disenfranchisement of voters should demand both transparency and solutions to prevent a repeat in future elections. This evidence also vindicates former President Trump and his legal team for the related public (and private) comments and legal arguments made in challenging the Georgia election results.
Under the cover of COVID-19, Georgia, like many other states, flooded residents with absentee ballot applications. Also like sister states, Georgia ignored various legislative mandates designed to prevent fraud and to ensure the integrity of the vote. These facts, coupled with the closeness of the presidential contest in Georgia and other states, led to a flurry of accusations and litigation charging vote fraud, illegal voting, and violations of the Elector’s Clause of the constitution. - Lord, let this terrible wrong be righted by Your Spirit, by Your Power. Let righteousness come to America and hope for our future be re-ignited.

2. Latino activist group alleges states sending law enforcement to border engaging in 'insurrection' - Fox

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) is calling on President Biden to stop governors of several states from sending law enforcement officers and National Guard members to the southern border.
In a letter sent to the White House on Sunday, LULAC National President Domingo Garcia called out Texas, Arizona, Nebraska, Idaho, Florida and South Dakota for sending personnel to the border, claiming that it was an "insurrection" by a group of states improperly using their resources.
"President Biden, as the commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and the militia of the several states, you have authority to prevent this usurping of federal powers by a few recalcitrant and rebellious states," the letter said. "If you cannot stop this additional insurrection, we request that you deploy federal troops to defend the rights and lives of Hispanic Americans on the border."
Responding to news that a private donor was funding National Guard members from South Dakota, Garcia said this was "tantamount to relegating our armed forces to a ‘pay for hire’ status on any whim or desire that the donor citizen can afford to pursue," and accused South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem of seeking "an opportunity to score political points." (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that the constant use of the term ‘’insurrection” by the left would fail to accomplish anything they plan. Let Your word, the Word of God rise up in its place and destroy their agenda.

- ‘’So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.’’ (Isaiah 55:11)

3. Fence surrounding US Capitol dismantled more than 6 months after riot - Fox

Crews started dismantling the remaining fence surrounding the U.S. Capitol on Saturday morning as U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) officers and members of the public watched.
After the Jan. 6 riot, officials installed two layers of fencing blocking off the Capitol. Although the large perimeter fencing was removed in March, the inner layer of fencing closer to the Capitol itself remained, blocking the public from entering the grounds.

On Saturday, crews arrived and began taking down the inner layer between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. ET. The fence is being dismantled beginning on the Senate side of the Capitol working around to the House side. (Read more)

- Thank, you Lord, that the fences have been dismantled. We pray for freedom once again. We bind fear throughout all members of the legislature in DC and declare it null and void. Let repentance and relief from the demonic grip of fear be granted.

4. Democrat Lawmakers Pose Shirtless While Riding Camels On Qatar Trip Bought By Special Interest Group: Report – Daily Wire

Democrat Reps. Eric Swalwell (CA) and Ruben Gallego (AZ) posed in a photo during a trip to Qatar earlier this year that was allegedly paid for by a special interest group.
“The pandemic-era excursion appears to have happened during a trip funded by the US-Qatar Business Council, a trade group that spent more than $84,000 to fly Reps. Eric Swalwell of California and Ruben Gallego of Arizona and their loved ones to Qatar, along with three other lawmakers, according to the nonpartisan LegiStorm website that tracks such travel,” Business Insider reported. “The photos suggest the lawmakers strayed from their official duties during the trip — one of several that private interests have paid for dozens of lawmakers’ travel this year. It’s unclear whether the camel ride violated House ethics rules about privately funded travel.”
The trip came as America was still largely gripped by the coronavirus pandemic and as vaccination efforts were ramping up. Three other lawmakers, including Reps. Luis Correa (D-CA), Sara Jacobs (D-CA), and Lisa McClain (R-MI), went on the trip but were not featured in photos of the camel ride.
“House rules forbid private groups from paying for entertainment, which could include a golf game, theater performance, or even a camel ride, during such trips,” the report added. “But family members are allowed to tag along, and routinely do so. The Qatar trip happened despite a surge in coronavirus cases in Qatar at the time, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance, now considered outdated, that urged everyone to wear masks even when outdoors and vaccinated.” (Read more)

5. 'GOD BLESS ABORTIONS' banner hung on Christ of the Ozarks statue in Arkansas by activist art group - Fox

Indecline, a two-decade-old activist art collective, hung a 44-foot banner that reads "GOD BLESS ABORTIONS" on a massive monument of Jesus in northwestern Arkansas Thursday night. "The project, entitled ‘God Bless Abortions,’ is in direct response to the dramatic attempts being made in Arkansas and throughout the South, to ban abortion services to women in need," the art collective said Friday.

The banner was draped between the outstretched arms of the 67-foot Christ of the Ozarks statue in Eureka Springs on Thursday night.

Members of Indecline disguised themselves as a construction crew to sneak onto the property, then used pulleys and other climbing gear to hang the banner.

"In Arkansas, there is only one 65-foot statue of Jesus. There is also only one abortion clinic," Indecline wrote in an Instagram caption explaining the project. "We just think abortion is a go***** miracle worth celebrating. It saves lives, but those lives are usually female." (Read more)

- Lord, this verges on blasphemy. We pray that You will begin a mighty move of Your Spirit over this nation. We ask for mercy and forgiveness for those who do not know You – bring them to their knees in repentance.

- ‘’Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’’ (Philippians 2:9-11 )

6. Trump easily wins CPAC 2024 GOP presidential nomination straw poll-- Fox

Former Presidentv Donald Trump easily won the 2024 GOP presidential nomination poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) gathering this weekend in Texas.
Trump, who’s repeatedly flirted with making another presidential run in 2024 to try and return to the White House, captured 70% of ballots cast in the anonymous straw poll, according to results announced by CPAC on Sunday afternoon.

That's a boost from the 55% support he won in the hypothetical 2024 Republican primary matchup straw poll at CPAC Orlando in late February. "I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your incredible support," Trump said as he gave the Dallas event's keynote address minutes later.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis came in a distant second, at 21%. No one else among the 19 potential 2024 Republican White House contenders topped 1%. (Read more)

Lord, we pray that if he chooses to run again, let no harm befall him or his family. We take authority over the constant attacks and bind them tightly against the demonic realm. We pray that Your will and only Your will for President Trump be granted. We speak blessing and favor to him whatever his decision will be.

- ‘’Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’’                   (Matthew 6:10)

7. Pennsylvania Department of State Tells Counties Not to Allow Outside Access to Voting Systems – The Epoch Times

The Pennsylvania agency in charge of elections has issued a new directive telling counties not to let outside parties access electronic voting systems or components of such systems, such as tabulators and ballot printers.
The directive from the Pennsylvania Department of State, released on July 9, states that county boards of elections “shall not” provide any access to third parties that are seeking to examine the systems or system components.
If the counties do allow access, the voting equipment that’s examined “will be considered no longer secure or reliable to use in subsequent elections,” and the department will withdraw its certification for the equipment.
“Such access by third parties undermines chain of custody requirements and strict access limitations necessary to prevent both intentional and inadvertent tampering with electronic voting systems,” Acting Pennsylvania Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid, appointed in February by Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf, said in a statement. “It also jeopardizes the security and integrity of the systems and will prevent electronic voting system vendors from affirming that the systems continue to meet Commonwealth security standards and U.S. Election Assistance Commission certification.”
Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, a Republican, said in a response that the directive “is an attack on the General Assembly’s power to review, investigate, and legislate in matters within its legislative authority, which includes Pennsylvania’s election system.” (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that wisdom will come to Pennsylvania leadership and if audits by outsiders are necessary, we pray that they will be monitored. Let there be truth and integrity in all elections in the United States.

- ‘’The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.’’ (Psalm 119:160)

8.  Clyburn urges Biden to back filibuster changes for election reform – The Hill

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) is urging President Biden to back filibuster changes to allow Democrats to pass their key election reform measures with only Democratic support.
In an interview with Politico, Clyburn said Biden should “endorse” the idea of creating a carveout to the filibuster specifically for legislation that applies to the Constitution.
Biden could “pick up the phone and tell [Sen.] Joe Manchin, ‘Hey, we should do a carveout,’” Clyburn said, referring to the West Virginia Democrat who has repeatedly vowed to not get rid of the filibuster.
“I don't care whether he does it in a microphone or on the telephone — just do it,” Clyburn added of Biden.
The comments come as Democrats seek to overcome the 50-50 divide in the Senate and pass their sweeping election reform legislation and another bill to restore key parts of the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
Democrats have pushed to advance the legislation as various GOP-led states move to tighten voting rules following the 2020 presidential election. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that no pressure against Biden would be effective in removing the filibuster. Let Your enemies be scattered and confused enough that this plan will fail.

“God shall arise, his enemies shall be scattered; and those who hate him shall flee before him!”  (Psalm 68:1)

9. Like in 'Postapocalyptic Movies': Heat Wave Killed Marine Wildlife en Masse - NYT

Dead mussels and clams coated rocks in the Pacific Northwest, their shells gaping open as if they had been boiled. Sea stars were baked to death. Sockeye salmon swam sluggishly in an overheated Washington river, prompting wildlife officials to truck them to cooler areas.
The combination of extraordinary heat and drought that hit the Western United States and Canada over the past two weeks has killed hundreds of millions of marine animals and continues to threaten untold species in freshwater, according to a preliminary estimate and interviews with scientists.
“It just feels like one of those postapocalyptic movies,” said Christopher Harley, a marine biologist at the University of British Columbia who studies the effects of climate change on coastal marine ecosystems.
To calculate the death toll, Harley first looked at how many blue mussels live on a particular shoreline, how much of the area is good habitat for mussels and what fraction of the mussels he observed died. He estimated losses for the mussels alone in the hundreds of millions. Factoring in the other creatures that live in the mussel beds and on the shore — barnacles, hermit crabs and other crustaceans, various worms, tiny sea cucumbers — puts the deaths at easily over 1 billion, he said. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that Your Spirit would protect all life in the midst of this heat wave – the land, the wildlife, the people. Help us to remember to stand in the gap for the live of both man and beast, and the protection of the land.

- “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.’’ (Ezekiel 22:30)

10. Student body president faces impeachment for saying gays and lesbians must be 'born again' – JusttheNews

The University of North Alabama's student government is threatening to remove its new president for saying gays and lesbians must be "born again."
Jake Statom has already apologized for his short-lived Instagram Story, posted during LGBTQ+ Pride Month, but his colleagues warned that he will face impeachment proceedings if he does not resign.
The university has defended Statom's "right to freedom of speech, even when it is offensive to others," citing a recent Supreme Court ruling on student speech, but has not stated whether it will halt impeachment proceedings or overturn his removal.
Letting the impeachment process play out could prove costly for the public university. Florida State University paid nearly $100,000 this spring to settle a lawsuit stemming from its refusal to overturn the student government's removal of its Senate president, Jack Denton, for sharing Catholic beliefs in a private group chat.
Other than potential litigation, UNA has to worry about blowback from state lawmakers. The Alabama House Republican Caucus issued a resolution Tuesday, posted on Yellowhammer News, "strongly oppos[ing] any effort to impeach, remove, or apply political pressure intended to force" Statom to resign. (Read more)

- Lord, we pray for this student body President who is in the middle of a firestorm of anger over Your Word. Instead of apologizing for it, please help him to stand firm in faith.

- “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
11. YouTube Deletes CPAC’s Video About Trump’s Lawsuit, Group Can’t Upload Content – The Epoch Times

YouTube has deleted a video uploaded by the American Conservative Union, which hosts the Conservative Political Action Conference, for allegedly violating its terms and conditions about COVID-19, the group said on July 11.
In an emailed statement, the American Conservative Union (ACU) said its video featured former President Donald Trump’s announcement that he would file lawsuits against Google, as well as Facebook and Twitter.
YouTube “issued a strike against” the group’s account two days after the video was uploaded on July 9. The Big Tech firm also “banned the organization from posting for one week,” according to the statement.
“As a result, YouTube has prevented ACU from sharing content from CPAC 2021 Part 2 in Dallas, Texas, including former President Donald Trump’s speech on Sunday, July 11,” the statement said.
Trump was scheduled to deliver CPAC’s headliner speech on July 11 at 3:35 p.m. CDT.
According to the ACU, YouTube said the video contained alleged “medical misinformation” regarding COVID-19 when it cited the reason for removing the video. The group said YouTube didn’t cite any examples that violated its policies.
“It is clear that YouTube censored CPAC because we stood with former President Donald Trump on his lawsuit against Big Tech,” ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said in a statement. “This is yet another example of Big Tech censoring content with which they disagree in order to promote the political positions they favor.” (Read more)

- Lord, we pray that You will reveal a path forward out of this “cancel culture” perpetrated by Big Tech.  Let wisdom come to the Conservatives in all areas. Let them hear Your voice and follow Your ways. We take the authority of Jesus over the lying spirits of the left and we “cancel” their power over all.

- ‘’There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”  (Proverbs 6:16-19)

What's Your Mission?

The Daily Jot, Bill Wilson, July 12, 2021

The other day, I was looking through my old passport. There is this stamp in here where I disembarked 17 July 1992. Wow, did it bring back some memories. In late 1991, William Agbeti came to America on a non-political mission representing as a citizen, certain more official interests in, the then-dictatorship of Ghana. I was a veteran political consultant/operative for Christian conservative candidates and officeholders. William had been looking through the yellow pages for someone to partner with him in telling his story and in bringing good things to his homeland. The Holy Spirit directed his path to my political consulting firm. I guess the Lord knew I was ready for another type of adventure.

William, whose last name means “Tree of Life,” and I became close friends very quickly–one of those God-ordained relationships. And before long, William had me on a plane to Ghana. It was late June 1992 when I was introduced to the smiles, hearts, hardships, challenges and love of the Ghanaian people. Over the next 29 years, William and I would work together to bring computers and computer assembly jobs to Ghana, create jobs by building homes in Ghana, introduce the Ghana government to new ways of home financing, establish a first of its kind ministry to the handicapped and disabled, provide food, clothing and clean water to the under-resourced, and, share the gospel to those who had never heard it. Richard Branson (right) discusses the July 11 SpaceShipTwo flight

Virgin Galactic, Branson laud SpaceShipTwo flight
“beyond my wildest dreams”

SPACEPORT AMERICA, N.M. — Virgin Galactic and its founder, Richard Branson, hailed a successful test flight by the company’s SpaceShipTwo suborbital spaceplane that carried him and five others to suborbital space, but offered few new details about the company’s future plans.

In a press conference here July 11, Branson and others said the “Unity 22” test flight met or exceeded expectations, with no serious issues during their ascent to approximately 86 kilometers and glide back to a runway landing.

“I’m never going to be able to do it justice. It’s indescribably beautiful,” Branson said, describing the view out the windows. Earlier, speaking on stage at the spaceport after the flight, he described the experience “as just magical.”

The flight itself was the fourth time the VSS Unity spaceplane had flown above the 80-kilometer altitude that the company defines as space. This flight was similar to the previous three, including the most recent one May 22, with few issues. Read More

The Good News Corner
Divine Encounters at EU Crossroads

Greece (CAM) — Local missionaries based in Greece were used to seeing refugees mainly from Syria, Iraq, and Iran, so they were surprised when two Turkish men showed up at their offices.

The men had fled economic and security hardships in the Kurdish areas of southeastern Turkey. After helping them with their needs for food and legal orientation, the workers were even more surprised when the Kurdish Turks eyed the Bibles on the shelves and asked, “What are these?”

When workers answered that they were Bibles, one of the men asked if there were any copies in Turkish.

“We smiled, as just a few days before, Turkish Bibles were donated to us after much research we had done to learn how to obtain them,” the ministry co-director said. “We gave him a Bible, and he said, ‘I am interested to know more about God. Can you teach me?’”

As the co-director knew some Kurmanji, the dialect of Kurdish people in southeastern Turkey, they had a brief Bible study, and she promised to find a Turkish interpreter for future sessions.

The future turned out to be a few minutes later, as the Kurds returned with a Turkish friend who also couldn’t wait to learn about God. Turkey is 99 percent Muslim, as Islam is central to Turkish nationalism, but in this corner of the world they were free to explore. The co-director asked them how they had found out about the ministry, and one replied that he had learned of it from a Greek Orthodox priest.

“I went twice to this Orthodox church and asked about Christianity, but the priest told me to come to you,” he told her. (Mission Network News) Read much more here, and rejoice!

At the cross of Jesus.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
