A Message for President Trump
TODAY is the day to encourage the President!
Encourage President Trump about the Senate Impeachment Acquittal and his State of the Union Address
(Published on Friday, February 7th, by Intercessors for America. Reprinted with permission.)
This has been a big week for the President. First, the State of the Union Address on Tuesday, and on Wednesday he was acquitted of all impeachment charges by an overwhelming vote. Would you take a moment and send an email of encouragement to the President?
I [also] have a three-part strategy in this action --sending him the message is the first phase. You can click below to TAKE ACTION and get started crafting your personal message to the President.
> > > TAKE ACTION BY GOING HERE!
You will see the other two steps that I believe are critically important to take once you submit your message to the President. Watch for them!
Thank you for your faithfulness to pray for our elected officials--in this case, the President, and for taking action as well.

4. Netanyahu says Israel has started mapping West Bank areas to annex - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday said Israel has begun mapping parts of the West Bank to annex, appearing to further step back from a pledge to swiftly apply Israeli sovereignty over these areas following the publication of US President Donald Trump's peace plan.
"We're already in the process of mapping the territory that according to the Trump plan will be part of the State of Israel," he said at a Likud campaign event in the Ma'ale Adumim settlement town on Saturday night.
"This won't take a lot of time and we'll complete this," Netanyahu added, without further specifying.
5. Erekat denies US charges of Palestinian incitement, blames Trump plan - Times of Israel
A Palestinian official on Friday rejected US allegations of incitement for the recent spike in violence in Israel and the West Bank.
Palestine Liberation Organization Secretary-General Saeb Erekat instead linked the violence to US President Donald Trump's Mideast initiative, which heavily favors Israel on all the most contentious issues of the conflict and would allow it to annex large parts of the West Bank.
"Those who introduce plans for annexation and apartheid and the legalization of occupation and settlements are the ones who bear full responsibility for deepening the cycle of violence and extremism," Erekat said in a statement.
6. IDF sending extra combat troops to West Bank as violence surges - Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces on Thursday announced it was sending additional troops to the West Bank in light of the increase in violence in the region.
The military said the decision was made after an "ongoing situational assessment." The IDF said it was deploying one extra battalion, which usually comprises a few hundred soldiers.
The decision came after three attacks on Israeli security forces in the West Bank and Jerusalem in the course of Thursday and amid a general spike in tensions and violence between Israel and the Palestinians, with a deadly clash in Jenin, riots elsewhere in the West Bank, and continuing launches of projectiles and explosive devices from Gaza.
The Daily Brief
1. Pelosi targeted in ethics complaint for 'mutilating' government record - WND
A leading supporter of President Trump in Congress has filed an ethics complaint against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for "mutilating" a government record.
The reference is to the copy of President Trump's State of the Union address that Pelosi dramatic tore in half on national television immediately after the president concluded his speech.
Pelosi has tried to justify her stunt, saying she was tearing up a bunch of lies. But Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is citing a federal law forbidding the destruction of federal documents that carries the possibility of three years in prison upon conviction. He wrote on Wednesday to the House Committee on Ethics, chaired by Democratic Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida.
"I write to request that the House Committee on Ethics open an investigation into Speaker Nancy Pelosi's flagrant violation of decorum, as defined in clauses 1 and 2 of House Rule XXIII ('Code of Official Conduct'), and request a criminal referral for her potential violation of 18 U.S.C. paragraph 2071 (concealment, removal, or mutilation of documents), following President Trump's recent State of the Union Address on February, 4, 2020," Gaetz wrote. "Her unseemly behavior certainly warrants censure." (Read more)
- Almighty God, we pray this ethics complaint against Ms. Pelosi for mutilating this government record, be enforced. God, let it become an example across America that you cannot disobey standard laws for mutilating government records without facing the penalty, irregardless of the position you hold. Soundly stabilize enforcement of this penalty. In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
- "To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against America." (Jude 15)
2. Dem-controlled House votes to kill GOP resolution condemning Pelosi for ripping up Trump's speech- Fox News
The House on Thursday voted to table a Republican-led resolution to condemn House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for ripping up a copy of President Trump's State of the Union address earlier this week.
The vote, which fell along party lines, 224 to 193, effectively killed the measure introduced on Wednesday by Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, amid widespread GOP furor over Pelosi's actions. The resolution called the speaker's public shredding of the address "a breach of decorum" and said it brought "discredit on the House." (Read more)
- Father God, we continue to pray over this matter. We now bring the hearing in the Ethics Committee before Your Throne of Grace, asking for justice to rule in the House Chamber. We ask in Jesus' name, amen.
- "But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"
(Amos 5:24)
3. Famed Christian evangelist Franklin Graham wonders what's wrong with Nancy Pelosi - WND
He didn't mention her by name, but in a Facebook post he reacted to her stunt of ripping up a copy of President Trump's State of the Union address Tuesday night.
Trump had highlighted America's accomplishments in recent years, including its booming economy, and honored numerous citizens. They included a 100-year-old Tuskegee airman, parents of a daughter killed by ISIS, an 8-year-old African-American girl seeking a better education and talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh. And, among other touching moments, the president reunited a U.S. military officer serving in Afghanistan with his family. (Read more) Graham, CEO of the Christian ministry Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, contrasted the good news presented last night with the Democrats' reaction.
"What we saw from President Donald J. Trump's opposition last night during the State of the Union address felt like a very personal resentment and hatred for the successes of America that had just been spoken of," he wrote.
"How could leaders in Congress be so indignant about good news for the people of this country? Why would they not celebrate people seeing increases in their wages, our military being strengthened, a young girl receiving a scholarship, victories in the fight against ISIS, a military hero reunited with his family, a 100-year-old three-war veteran being honored, and other great news?
"It reveals contempt for the heart of America. (Read more)
- Father in heaven, reveal to all Americans, that we are in a major spiritual battle, i.e., light versus darkness, good versus evil, truth versus lies, love versus hate. We call for righteousness to reign in our nation. We ask You to remove the wicked from positions of authority in our government, at both the state and the national levels. Weaken the wicked and strengthen the godly, through the power and authority of the Blood of the Lamb. In Jesus' Name we pray, amen.
- "Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious; love is not vain-glorious, is not puffed up; acts not unseemly; seeks not selfish things, is not quickly provoked; does not think evil. Love never fails." (I Corinthians 13:4-8)
4. Nadler Pushes Return to Kavanaugh Investigation as Impeachment Ends in Complete Failure - Western Journal
. . . now that impeachment has gone down in flames, Nadler is going to focus on questioning the legitimacy of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation. During a Wednesday oversight hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray, Nadler confirmed that, yes, we are indeed going there again.
This time, the Democrats are going to question the FBI's background check into Kavanaugh, with Nadler telling Wray that there's "a great deal of mistrust and uncertainty around the FBI's supplemental background check of Justice Kavanaugh during the last few days of that confirmation. The country needs a better understanding of that process," he added.
"In the case of Justice Kavanaugh's appointment, I understand that the client agency was the White House - specifically, the White House counsel's office," Nadler said. "So if - yes or no - if the White House had directed the FBI to interview some witnesses but not others, or if they had told you to complete the process by a certain date, would the FBI have followed that request?"
Wray explained that the FBI's role is "what's called the investigative service provider or the ISP," which means they investigate what they're told to. (Read more)
- Father in heaven, we pray that the tables be turned against Mr. Nadler as to whether he is legitimate or not to question Mr. Kavanaugh, and the FBI's background check. We pray Nadler will be caught in the crossfire that he is stirring up. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)
5. House OKs bill letting illegal immigrants seek damages from employers - Fox News
House lawmakers on Thursday passed a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to be eligible for damages from their employer if their labor rights are judged to have been violated -- while rejecting a measure that would prevent unions from recruiting those in the country illegally.
The Democrat-sponsored "Protecting the Right to Organize" (PRO) Act seeks to expand labor protections and boost unions across the board. Like California's controversial Assembly Bill 5, one of the PRO Act's stated purposes is to end worker misclassification and stop employers from denying workers benefits by doing so. It passed in a 224-194 vote, mostly along party lines.
"The penalties for violating the [National Labor Relations Act] are weaker than those for violating other labor and employment laws, and workers lack a private right of action to pursue relief on their own," a factsheet from the Committee on Education and Labor says. "Workers are frequently misclassified as independent contractors or supervisors, and thus excluded from the protections afforded to employees covered by the NLRA."
Jarringly for Republicans, it would also abolish state right-to-work laws. It's a bill that would be dead on arrival in the Republican-controlled Senate but passed the Democratic-held House mostly along party lines. "Where workers have previously had the freedom to choose whether or not to pay fees & join a union, they will now be forced to pay membership fees or lose their job," Rep. Kevin Hern, R-Okla., said, opposing the bill. "This will put immeasurable power in the hands of union bosses." (Read more)
- Father in heaven, we trust You will bring to a halt all benefits given to illegal workers in the U.S. We pray for the defeat of this bill in the Senate. We trust and pray in Jesus' Name.
- "Unto the pure, all things are pure, but unto them the are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." (Titus 1:15)
6. Court: Dem lawmakers cannot sue Trump over foreign payments to businesses - Fox News
A federal appeals court on Friday unanimously ruled that more than 200 Democratic congressional lawmakers do not have standing to sue President Trump over allegations he violated the Emoluments Clause over foreign payments to his businesses.
"Because we conclude that the Members lack standing, we reverse the district court and remand with instructions to dismiss their complaint," the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said in its ruling.
"The [House] Members can, and likely will, continue to use their weighty voices to make their case to the American people, their colleagues in the Congress and the President himself, all of whom are free to engage that argument as they see fit," the court continued. "But we will not - indeed we cannot - participate in this debate." The court added that "the Constitution permits the Judiciary to speak only in the context of an Article III case or controversy and this lawsuit presents neither."
Holding up a copy of the ruling as he departed Washington for a North Carolina event, Trump blasted the suit as a "phony" case. "It was a total win," he declared. (Read more)
- Father in heaven, we thank You for protecting President Trump from the 200 Democratic lawmakers' false charges regarding the Emoluments Clause, under which he is innocent. Bind under the power of Almighty God, all House Members who attempt to inflict false charges against Trump. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil."
(2 Thessalonians 3:3)
7. New Way Forward Act in House of Representatives - Fox News
At this moment there is a bill pending in Congress called the New Way Forward Act. It's received almost no publicity, which is unfortunate as well as revealing. The legislation is sponsored by 44 House Democrats, including Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York. At roughly 4,400 words, it's almost exactly as long as the U.S. Constitution.
Like the Constitution, this legislation is designed to create a whole new country. The bill would entirely remake our immigration system, with the explicit purpose of ensuring that criminals are able to move here, and settle here permanently, with impunity. The bill targets felony convictions - serious crimes that send you to prison for years. A press release from Rep., Jesus Garcia, D-Ill., is explicit about this. Garcia brags that the bill will break the "prison to deportation pipeline."
Consider this: Under current law, immigrants who commit serious crimes - such as robbery, fraud, or child sexual abuse - must be deported, regardless of the sentence they receive. Other crimes - less severe ones like racketeering - require deportation as long as the perpetrator receives at least a one-year sentence. But if this bill passes the House and Senate and is signed into law by the president, there will no longer be any crimes that automatically require deportation. None. If the New Way Forward Act becomes law, immigrants who commit those crimes and receive those sentences would remain in the country. They'll all be eligible for citizenship one day, too.
. . . The bill would grant sweeping new powers to immigration judges, allowing them to nullify a deportation order. The only requirement is that "the immigration judge finds such an exercise of discretion appropriate in pursuit of humanitarian purposes, to assure family unity, or when it is otherwise in the public interest." In other words, anti-American immigration judges - and many of them are exactly that - would have a blank check to open the borders. No vote required. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we pray this "New Way Forward Act" will come out of hiding and will invoke Your hand against it, destroying it, and all the wickedness in the hearts of its authors. Leave it no breath nor strength to exist. Bring Your holy power to stand against all 44 Democratic sponsors who have endorsed this bill. Father in heaven, shine Your Light on it to reveal the insidiousness of its destructive intention. In the matchless Name of Jesus we pray.
- "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against God." (Jude 14, 15)
8. Laptop with information on Biden's stolen a couple of blocks away from the White House - WND
Investigative reporter John Solomon is an expert when it comes to the dealings of Joe and Hunter Biden in Ukraine, and has written a number of articles exposing the unethical goings-on in the eastern European nation. Now, a cache of sensitive and potentially damning information was allegedly stolen from the journalist in a "professional" heist that even the Secret Service is involved in investigating.
The theft took place on Jan. 20, according to police reports obtained by RealClearInvestigations. Police suspect thieves used a sophisticated electronic device to enter Solomon's parked car, stealing his laptop and computer bag without leaving any signs of forced entry. Solomon's car was parked only a few blocks away from the White House, one of the most secure locations in the world.
The thieves appear to have been focused solely on the laptop bag and computer, as Solomon claims cash inside the car was left untouched. (Read more)
- Almighty God, take us above the realm of the evil intelligence around the globe to enable us to access what God knows about this theft of Solomon's laptop. Reveal the truth so we can pray through to reach the mind of this thief. Expose the interposition of all people who have access to Solomon's material on his laptop. Miraculously, disable his laptop so that the thieves are unable to pull information from it. We block their power by the Blood of Jesus. We pray in the powerful Name of Jesus.
- "And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
9. With One Year To Spare, Trump Breaks Record for Judges Appointed in First Term - Western Journal
President Donald Trump has so remade the face of the judiciary that, with a year to spare, he's already broken the record for judges appointed in his first term. Surprisingly, the president is taking a victory lap in celebration of the event. (OK . . . maybe it's not so surprising.)
Earlier this week, Trump took to Twitter to celebrate the event, which actually happened last month. Retweeting a video from Mitch McConnell celebrating the 50 judges Trump and Senate Republicans have managed to put on circuit courts - the most in a president's first term since 1980 and almost as many as President Barack Obama managed to put on in eight years - Trump reminded everyone they'd also managed to confirm 187 federal judges total.
"Now up to 187 Federal Judges, and two great new Supreme Court Justices," Trump said in the Wednesday tweet. "We are in major record territory. Hope EVERYONE is happy!" (Read more)
- Father in heaven, we thank You for enabling President Trump to have such success in revamping our judiciary to begin to rule in righteousness, and according to the Constitution, interpreting the law rather than legislating from the bench. Enable him to always be highly anointed to step higher into God's plans for our country and the world. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.
- "Now know I that the Lord saves His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand." (Psalm 20:6)
10. Pompeo warns governors of Chinese infiltration into US: 'It's happening in your state' - Fox News
China's Communist Party has infiltrated various levels of America's infrastructure and is working to destroy the values of the United States, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said during a speech Saturday, while also warning state governors to be wary of China's infiltration.
"We can't ignore China's actions and strategic intentions," he said while addressing the National Governors Association winter meeting. "The Chinese government has been methodical in the way it's analyzed our system . . . it's assessed our vulnerabilities and it's decided to exploit our freedoms, to gain an advantage over us at the federal level, the state level and the local level."

11. White House says U.S. killed Qassim al-Rimi, leader of al-Qaeda in Yemen - NBC News
The White House said Thursday that the U.S. has killed Qassim al-Rimi, the leader of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. A White House statement said al-Rimi was killed in Yemen but did not say when. The counterterrorism operation was conducted at the direction of President Donald Trump, it said.
Tribal leaders in Yemen said Saturday that a suspected U.S. drone strike destroyed a building housing al Qaeda militants the previous week, and Trump retweeted several tweets and media reports that seemed to offer confirmation that the Jan. 25 strike killed al-Rimi, The Associated Press reported at the time.
The Arabian Peninsula branch is often referred to as AQAP. "Under Rimi, AQAP committed unconscionable violence against civilians in Yemen and sought to conduct and inspire numerous attacks against the United States and our forces," the White House said. (Read more)
- Almighty God, we thank You for protecting Americans at home and abroad through the wise decisions of our President Trump. Lord, guide him under Your direct leadership to remove America's most lethal enemies. Protect him day and night by the power of the Blood of Jesus. We pray in Jesus' Name.
- "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves for they have watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you." (Hebrews 13:17)
12. Plans for Bible Distribution in China Not Deterred by Coronavirus - Christian News
Bibles For The World is not letting the coronavirus get in the way of bringing scripture to the Chinese people. The coronavirus has caused over 500 deaths around the world since it began in Wuhan, China. It has sickened over 25,000 people, although over 1,000 have already recovered.
But John Pudaite, president and CEO of Bibles For The World, says, "We continue to feel that it should not deter us from our commitment to provide God's word there and to get the Gospel to the people of China."
"We have a trip planned to China in April. And at this point, even though we're monitoring the situation, as I mentioned, we intend to go as we have planned and provide that support to the Christians and to the Church in China, to the Body of Christ and also to equip them with God's word so they can get active and involved in evangelizing and sharing the message, the good news of Jesus Christ with their neighbors and Chinese people." > > > Here is a prayer strategy sent in by one of our prayer partners to combat and defeat this virus:
I believe the Lord showed me Ps 91:10-11. "No plague shall come nigh thy dwelling." He told me to claim a 120 mile radius around our homes. His power to kill all virus within 120 mile radius.
If all seasoned intercessors claim the distance He tells them, and stand on the word, we could knock this thing out.
We agree! If we ALL decree this verse in the 120-mile radius suggested, this would END this virus . . . because, standing together, we are located all across the nation!

When a coup fails
Millions of your tax dollars have been spent since before the inauguration of Donald Trump on removing him from office. The Democratic members of Congress, the previous White House, and many, many operatives in government agencies have been working together on a coup of an elected president-this is the real crime among many others that will likely go unpunished, unprosecuted and perhaps forgotten. In other countries around the world, a failed coup attempt usually results in the aggressors and their families being executed. In other countries, coup attempts are decided by blood, guns and bullets. In America, the weapon is a vote. And Republicans finally stood up to put down the coup.
I don't want to pick on one group of people, but the blame for this is squarely on the Democratic Party and their media minions and deep state accomplices. This didn't need to be done. Almost four years and millions of dollars have been wasted on this coup to remake America into a socialist state. It is disgraceful. There are challenges to be solved, but members of Congress have failed in their elected duty to address those challenges. All the while, trying to remove a president from office, ignoring the facts, ignoring their jobs, while exercising their hate and having you and me pay for it. Nancy Pelosi ripping up President Trump's State of the Union address is more than symbolic.
Meanwhile, the President has been working. His policies have provided jobs, reduced the number of people on welfare, increased the hiring of minorities, supported Israel, opposed abortion, and even reduced the trade deficit with China. He has protected the country from terrorist attacks by killing major leaders of the Islamic State and Iran's terrorist operation. He has reversed many of the policies that prevented America from prospering. And despite being called a bigot, a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe, an Islamophobe, and a xenophobe, he has improved the quality of life through a good economy for so many people-All while the Democratic Party leadership has tried to disrupt and obstruct his every move.
This coup attempt has failed. But it is not over. There will be another one. The news media has covered the impeachment acquittal as a partisan rebuttal and continues to recount the Democratic Party narrative on the facts, as if they were ignored. This will only end if the coup-makers are voted out of office. This is an amazing time in America's history. We are in a fight over the soul of the nation. Unless we hold the coup-makers accountable, we cannot stand. As Christ said in Mark 3:24-25, "And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." We are a nation divided. We need to stand firm against the evil that seeks to destroy AND show the love of Christ to heal and unify.
The National Prayer Breakfast
Looking back:
President Trump Reaffirms His Commitment to Religious Liberty, Sanctity of Life, and Celebrates His Acquittal at the National Prayer Breakfast
"...Faith keeps us free, prayer makes us strong, and God alone is the Author of life and the Giver of grace." -President Donald Trump
(Washington, DC) - [LifeSiteNews.com] To the delight of the 3,500 people at the 68th National Prayer Breakfast in the nation's capital, President Donald Trump strode into the cavernous Washington Hilton ballroom and flashed a newspaper with a giant headline blaring, "ACQUITTED!"
It was less than 15 hours since the United States Senate had acquitted the president of impeachment charges, and just a day and a half since the President's State of the Union address where he again showed himself to be a pro-life champion.
Sitting at the head table a few seats away from the president at this morning's breakfast was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who had led the impeachment effort.
Before Trump spoke, the addled-looking California Democrat took to the podium and read a prayer for religious liberty.
"Let's honor the spark of divinity in all," she said, and crossed herself "in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost," as she concluded. Pelosi professes to be Catholic, but supports abortion on demand and same-sex "marriage."
She neither addressed nor acknowledged President Trump, forgoing an opportunity to publicly apologize for her recent insulting gesture on national television, ripping the text of his State of the Union speech as she stood behind him.

COME, GRACIOUS SPIRIT, HEAV'NLY DOVE
"The Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him." (Luke 3:22)
Lyrics
Come, gracious Spirit, heav'nly Dove, With light and comfort from above; Be Thou our Guardian, Thou our Guide, O'er every thought and step preside, O'er every thought and step preside.
The light of truth to us display, And make us know and choose Thy way; Plant holy fear in every heart, That we from God may ne'er depart, That we from God may ne'er depart.
Conduct me safe, conduct me far From every sin and hurtful snare; Lead me to God, my final rest, In His enjoyment to be blest, In His enjoyment to be blest.
Lead me to Christ, the living way, Nor let me from His pastures stray; Lead me to Heaven, the seat of bliss, Where pleasure in perfection is, Where pleasure in perfection is.
Lead us to holiness, the road Which we must take to dwell with God; Lead us to Christ, the living way, Nor let us from His pastures stray, Nor let us from His pastures stray.
Lead me to means of grace, where I May own my wants, and seek supply; Lead to Thyself, the spring from whence To fetch all quickening influence, To fetch all quickening influence.
Thus I, conducted still by Thee, Of God a child beloved shall be; Here to His family pertain, Hereafter with Him ever reign, Hereafter with Him ever reign.

How the weather boosted the US economy in January
Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted an early spring, but for many, AccuWeather's meteorologists say not so fast.
An unusually warm winter across the United States compared to normal brought more than just lower home heating costs in January. The warmer weather also led to the creation of more jobs in the U.S. than economists had expected.
Employers added 225,000 jobs in January, according to the U.S. Labor Department, a total well above the 158,000 that Wall Street analysts previously estimated for the month. The average monthly gain in 2019 was 175,000.
The weather played a key role, with significant job increases in industries dependent upon warmer-than-average weather. The construction industry saw the largest jump, with 44,000 jobs in January; construction added an average of 12,000 jobs per month in 2019.
"Weather very well may have been a factor in lifting construction," said Joseph LaVorgna, chief economist Americas at Natixis in a CNBC.com story.
"For most of the country, there really has not been much of a winter," said AccuWeather senior meteorologist Dave Samuhel. "In fact, we had one of the warmest Januarys in history across the country." (Accuweather.com)
"I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke." (Acts 2:19)
Good News Corner
New antiviral masks from Israel may help stop deadly coronavirus
As the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak continues to spread, two Israeli companies are finalizing development of revolutionary antiviral reusable facemasks.
"Israel has technologies that can support controlling this epidemic," says Liat Goldhammer-Steinberg, CTO of Sonovia in Ramat Gan.
More than 100 people are reported dead from complications of Wuhan coronavirus, dubbed 2019-nCoV.
The virus is spread by air and direct contact. The World Health Organization reports approximately 4,200 cases of infection since December 31. Most of the cases are in China. A few have been confirmed in 15 additional countries.
Because there is no vaccine or treatment for 2019-nCoV, personal protective equipment is an important way to combat the transmission of the virus and avoid a pandemic.
Disposable facemasks cannot block all pathogens and do not kill them. A used and discarded mask can even become a vector for disease as the pathogens multiply in its fibers.
That's why washable, reusable masks with anti-pathogen properties could provide a potent prevention tool against the 2019-nCoV and other coronaviruses that have evolved into more severe illnesses, such as SARS and MERS.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

Reading the Bible Together
WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!
Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week. "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14) We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time.
For more information, about how you can join our ongoing Reading of the Scriptures, please send an email to: info@capitolhillprayer.org. EVERYONE'S WELCOME! [Note: we are reading from these versions of the Scripture: King James, New King James, New American Standard, and NIV.]
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word with with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
