1. Unity talks revive in last-ditch effort between Netanyahu, Gantz, but no deal before holiday - World Israel News
Chances for a unity government were revived on Tuesday morning after fading last week as negotiations collapsed. Significant progress had been reported after a Monday night meeting between Blue and White leader Benny Gantz and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
However, on Tuesday afternoon the sides said that they had not reached a deal and would continue their work on Wednesday evening following the last day of Passover. Hopes for a unity agreement were raised when the two sides issued a statement at around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, saying, "Last night's meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz made significant progress in contacts for a national emergency government. The parties have arranged to meet again tomorrow morning in the presence of the negotiating teams."

2. Rivlin gives PM, Gantz 48 more hours to seal deal as sides cite 'major progress' - Times of Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz appeared to be on the cusp of reaching a coalition deal overnight Monday-Tuesday, as the president approved a last-minute joint request by the two to extend Gantz's mandate to form a government by 48 hours, with the sides citing "major progress" in talks.
The request to the president was made just minutes before Gantz's deadline to form a government expired at midnight, as the two leaders held a meeting at the Prime Minister's Residence. President Reuven Rivlin quickly approved it, after previously rejecting a request by Gantz for a two-week extension when it was not supported by Netanyahu.
In a joint statement after their meeting, Netanyahu and Gantz said there had been "significant progress in talks to form an emergency unity government." The meeting ended shortly after midnight, with the sides saying they would reconvene in the morning with their negotiating teams in tow.

3. Israeli COVID-19 treatment shows 100% survival rate - preliminary data - Jerusalem Post
Six critically ill coronavirus patients in Israel who are considered high-risk for mortality have been treated with Pluristem's placenta-based cell-therapy product and survived, according to preliminary data provided by the Haifa-based company.
The patients were treated at three different Israeli medical centers for one week under the country's compassionate use program and were suffering from acute respiratory failure and inflammatory complications associated with COVID-19. Four of the patients also demonstrated failure of other organ systems, including cardiovascular and kidney failure.
Not only have all the patients survived, according to Pluristem, but four of them showed improvement in respiratory parameters and three of them are in the advanced stages of weaning from ventilators. Moreover, two of the patients with preexisting medical conditions are showing clinical recovery in addition to the respiratory improvement.

4. Number of coronavirus cases in Israel rises to 12,046 - Israel National News
The Health Ministry said on Tuesday evening that the number of cases of coronavirus in Israel has risen to 12,046. Of those, 175 are listed in serious condition and 133 are connected to a respirator.
The death toll from the virus in Israel now stands at 123.
Earlier on Tuesday, three more people passed away from the coronavirus.
A 90-year-old man, a 79-year-old man and a 78-year-old man all died at the Shaare Zedek and Hadassah hospitals in Jerusalem. All three suffered from underlying conditions.
On Tuesday afternoon it was announced that an eight-day-old baby from Beit Shemesh has become the youngest person in Israel to contract the coronavirus. He was taken to the Wolfson Hospital in Holon and placed in isolation.

5. Kinneret Water Level Hits 16-Year High Point - Jewish Press
(JNS) For the first time in 16 years, the water level in the Sea of Galilee has risen above the level of -209 meters (-686 feet). On Tuesday, the water level was measured at -208.985 meters below sea level, an increase of 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) since Monday.
According to the Israel Water Authority (IWA) the water level has been rising at a rate of 2.5 cm (0.98 inches) a day and the lake is only 18.5 cm (7.3 inches) short of the Upper Red Line, the level at which a dam must be opened to allow water to flow out to prevent flooding.
The Sea of Galilee, Israel's largest freshwater source, has benefited from an unusually rainy winter. Three weeks ago, the IWA reported that the water level was higher than it had been in 17 years, standing 49 cm (19 inches) short of the Upper Red Line. This means that from March 23 to April 14, the lake rose by a foot.

1. Southfield city clerk charged with 6 felonies tied to November election-Detroit News
Southfield City Clerk Sherikia L. Hawkins was charged Monday with six felony counts over "unauthorized and inaccurate" changes to absentee ballots in the November 2018 election. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson made a joint announcement of the charges in Detroit, calling it a "rare" case.
"Voting is fundamental to the very essence of our democracy," Nessel said during a Monday news conference. "It is incumbent upon state governments to safeguard the electoral process and ensure that every voter's right to cast a ballot is protected."
Allegations that Hawkins altered 193 absentee voter records came to light during the 14-day canvas following the election. Benson said the Oakland County Clerk's Office reported with the Bureau of Elections "the potential for these irregularities and from there we began our investigation."

2. Food supply worries grow after outbreak closes Smithfield meat plant-The Hill
Pork processor Smithfield Foods' decision to shut down a major U.S. plant after a coronavirus outbreak among workers is putting a spotlight on the food supply chain during the pandemic.
Consumer and worker safety groups say the Smithfield incident highlights that more must be done to ensure the welfare of those working in the industry as well as those buying food. And there are worries that if more plants close, American consumers could be hit by shortages.
Some industry groups say the Trump administration must provide more protections for essential workers, a category that includes food suppliers.

- Father, we thank You that the FDA says the virus does not pass through food. We pray healing for all the workers sickened at this plant in South Dakota, and thank You Lord that our food supply chain is still holding strong. We ask You to protect and keep healthy all of our front-line employees from fire departments to food departments, in Jesus Name.

3. Ex-Clinton lawyer threatens to sue Nevada unless ballot harvesting permitted-Fox News
A prominent Democratic lawyer who represented Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign is threatening to sue the state of Nevada unless it immediately suspends prosecutions for ballot harvesting before the June 9 primary, among a slew of other demands, according to a letter obtained by Fox News on Tuesday.
Marc Elias, now representing the Nevada Democratic Party, also called for a substantial expansion to in-person voting access in the upcoming primary - though just days ago, he said it was a "national disgrace" that Wisconsin was moving ahead with in-person voting amid the coronavirus pandemic. (In both cases, he cited health concerns.) Democrats had feared that high turnout in Wisconsin would hurt their chances, while they have a more optimistic outlook in Nevada.

-Father, we pray that this ballot-harvesting scheming across our nation is blocked by Your righteousness, and the plans of the enemy to steal our elections come to nothing. May the people of God stand firm in resisting the corrupt deeds of destruction.

4. State Department cables warned of safety issues at Wuhan lab studying bat coronaviruses-Washington Post
Two years before the novel coronavirus pandemic upended the world, U.S. Embassy officials visited a Chinese research facility in the city of Wuhan several times and sent two official warnings back to Washington about inadequate safety at the lab, which was conducting risky studies on coronaviruses from bats. The cables have fueled discussions inside the U.S. government about whether this or another Wuhan lab was the source of the virus - even though conclusive proof has yet to emerge.
In January 2018, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing took the unusual step of repeatedly sending U.S. science diplomats to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), which had in 2015 become China's first laboratory to achieve the highest level of international bioresearch safety (known as BSL-4). WIV issued a news release in English about the last of these visits, which occurred on March 27, 2018. The U.S. delegation was led by Jamison Fouss, the consul general in Wuhan, and Rick Switzer, the embassy's counselor of environment, science, technology and health. Last week, WIV erased that statement from its website, though it remains archived on the Internet.

5. Fauci: 'We're not there yet' on key steps to reopen economy-Politico
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government's top infectious disease expert, said Tuesday the U.S. does not yet have the critical testing and tracing procedures needed to begin reopening the nation's economy, adding a dose of caution to increasingly optimistic projections from the White House.
"We have to have something in place that is efficient and that we can rely on, and we're not there yet," Fauci said in an interview with The Associated Press. Fauci's comments come as President Donald Trump and others in the administration weigh how quickly businesses can reopen and Americans can get back to work weeks after the fast-spreading coronavirus essentially halted the U.S. economy. Trump has floated the possibility of reopening some areas by May 1 and said he could announce recommendations as soon as this week.

-Father, we will do as President Trump requested and pray that he will know the perfect time to reopen the economy and exactly how to do it. Father, give the President all knowledge and wisdom to use the recommendations of his professionals, but to weigh that information with the still small voice that he hears from You. Lord, keep him tuned to You and to the actual situation in our communities.
-"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2)
6. Democratic senator to introduce bill to limit Trump's ability to fire Fauci-The Hill
Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) on Tuesday said that he will be introducing legislation to limit President Trump's ability to fire Anthony Fauci, amid a swirl of speculation that the public health official's job could be in jeopardy.
The bill would allow Trump to fire a director of a national research institute or national centers under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) only "on the basis of malfeasance by, neglect of office by, or incapacity of the director." Currently, Markey said, a director can be fired for any reason.
Markey called Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the "most trusted voice" within the scientific community when it comes to the coronavirus and warned that he shouldn't be fired for disagreeing with Trump.

-Dear Lord, we call down this effort to come against President Trump in the name of Jesus. We speak out that unnecessary limitations will fall to the ground. We pray for a more cooperative spirit among the Senators and Representatives. Lord, replace those who do not flow in Your plans for our country.

7. Obama endorses Biden, after months on 2020 campaign sidelines-Fox News
Former President Barack Obama on Tuesday formally endorsed Joe Biden - his vice president and running mate through two terms and presidential campaigns - in the looming race against President Trump, stepping off the sidelines after withholding support for any candidate for months.
Obama made the announcement in a statement and video posted on social media.
"Choosing Joe to be my vice president was one of the best decisions I ever made, and he became a close friend. And I believe Joe has all the qualities we need in a president right now," Obama said.

8. IMF: Coronavirus will lead to "worst recession since the Great Depression"-Axios
The coronavirus pandemic will bring about the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, the International Monetary Fund projected Tuesday in its latest world economic outlook.
Why it matters: The organization expects a recession "far worse" than the 2008 financial crisis. In a revision to its earlier forecast, the IMF said global GDP growth will fall to -3% this year, a drastic downgrade from its forecast of +6.3% in January.
By the numbers: Global GDP will face a cumulative loss of about $9 trillion - larger than the economies of Japan and Germany combined.

9. Taiwan releases December email to WHO showing unheeded warning about coronavirus-Fox News
The World Health Organization is under fire after Taiwan released the contents of a December email inquiring about the person-to-person spread of COVID-19, which it says was ignored by the organization and further denied to provide adequate information about how to fight the virus.
Taiwan is accusing WHO of downplaying the severity and spread of the coronavirus in an attempt to pander to China, even after Taiwan sounded the alarm about at least seven cases of atypical pneumonia that they were aware of in Wuhan, where the virus originated.
When asked about the cases by the media, Taiwan said China's health authorities said, "The cases were believed not SARS; however samples are still under examination, and cases have been isolated for treatment," according to the contents of an email sent by Taiwan's Center for Disease Control and Prevention to WHO on Dec. 31.

-Abba, we are so weary of the lies and game-playing as sincere health officials try to get to the roots and cure for this pandemic. Bless President Trump with Your wisdom and discernment in dealing with WHO and with the enemies driven by demonic forces.

10. Biden accuser Tara Reade vows never to vote 'in a national election again... I will not vote for Joe Biden'-Fox News
A former aide to former Vice President Joe Biden, who is accusing the Democrats' presumptive presidential nominee of sexually assaulting her during the early 1990s when he was a senator, tells Fox News that not only will she not vote for Biden this November, but she will never vote in the general election again.
Tara Reade, who alleged the assault took place in the basement of a Capitol Hill office building in the spring of 1993, said in a statement to Fox News: "I will not ever vote in a national election again. Despite the fact I come from a family of Democrats....Kamala Harris is my representative and I reached out to her for help. No response. Joe Biden sexually assaulted and harassed me. All the rest of political discussion is noise and an effort to distract from the serious lack of justice I experienced at his hands. Coming forward has been difficult and resulted in 1993 with the loss of my job and career. Coming forward last spring 2019 about the sexual harassment resulted with his supporters smearing me online. And now, again. So, no, I will not vote for Joe Biden."

-Holy Spirit, uncover the truth of this matter, and bring healing and salvation to Tara. Grant her favor in the courts. There is much about Biden that seems to have been ignored, or swept under the carpet; but You, Almighty, have the power to pull the rug out from under him. Bring truth, forgive him, and draw him to Your Son.
-But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. (John 16:13)

Understanding and surviving these prophetic times
Tuesday, April 14, 2014
We are definitely living in prophetic times, but perhaps not the "times" some are thinking. There are a lot of headlines that appear much the same each day during this pandemic. We see the Democrats and the media blaming President Trump, conservatives, Republicans, and Christians for the spread of COVID-19 and its subsequent deaths. Conspiracy theories abound about microchipping, tracking individuals, using the virus to expand 5G, government takeover of businesses, and so on. As Christ said in Luke 21:8-9, "Take heed that you be not deceived, but when you shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by."
In both Matthew 24 and Luke 21 are chronological accounts of the times leading up to the return of Christ. Christ warns in Luke 21:34-36, "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with overindulgence, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day comes upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." In other words, we have a lot to endure before Christ returns and we need to be circumspect, and watching and praying as these events occur.
There are a few things that we can discern with this COVID-19 plague. Every generation has had their test. And every generation could point to the beginning of the end. What is different today is that God's timepiece, Israel, has been reborn as a nation. This gives us a heads up that we are far closer to the return of Christ than at any other time in history. We also see that there are rumors, pestilences, wars, confusion, and commotion leading up to his return. From the account of the Olivet Discourse in Luke, we also see that those who overindulge in the worldly things can be unaware and caught in the snare of these events. In other words, they may not survive. Wisdom, prayer, being aware of the times are critical to escaping "these things that shall come to pass." How are we to face these kinds of life-changing disruptions?
Work on getting fit-both physically and spiritually. Don't overindulge in the worldly things-food, drink, news, conspiracies, rumors, gossip. Focus your mind on prayer and understanding that you may be wise in your actions and deeds. Fear and confusion are not of the Lord. Christ said to not be terrified when you see these things. Don't be carried away by the doctrines of fools-they may lead you to calamity or an early death. Read your Bible. Ask for understanding. Draw close to the Lord. Share the light of Christ with others who are fearful and confused about the future. Know your faith no matter how dark the world becomes for as Christ said, "I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
Trump Pulls WHO Funding
Trump Pulls WHO Funding
Says Organization 'Must Be Held Accountable'
"President Donald Trump made it official [yesterday] that the administration was halting money to the World Health Organization, the international body that said in January that COVID-19 could not be spread by human-to-human contact, and praised China's response to the virus," Fred Lucas reports in The Daily Signal.
"Our countries are now experiencing-look all over the world-tremendous death and economic devastation because those tasked with protecting us by being truthful and transparent failed to do so," the President said.
Trump said funding will be stopped during a review of the organization.
"American taxpayers provide between $400 million and $500 million per year to the WHO. In contrast, China contributes roughly $40 million per year, and even less," Trump said. "As the organization's leading sponsor, the United States has a duty to insist on full accountability."
"One of the most dangerous and costly decisions from the WHO was its disastrous decision to oppose travel restrictions from China and other nations," Trump continued, adding, "The WHO's attack on travel restrictions put political correctness above lifesaving measures."
The United States contributes 14.7% of the World Health Organization's $38 billion budget, while China contributes only 0.21%, according to WHO's numbers.
According to WHO, contributions from the U.S. government, American citizens, and U.S.-based charities make up 76% of all voluntary contributions to the organization. That amounted to $945.6 million from 2016 to 2017.
Congress authorized about $123 million in taxpayer funding for WHO in the last fiscal year, and Trump's fiscal 2021 budget request proposed to reduce funding to about $58 million.
The announced review by the administration also comes as the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has begun an investigation into the WHO.
"The reality is that the WHO failed to adequately obtain, vet, and share information in a timely and transparent fashion," Trump said from the Rose Garden during the daily press briefing. "The world depends on the WHO to work with countries to ensure that accurate information about international health threats is shared in a timely manner. If it's not, to independently tell the world the truth about what is happening."

Awaken the Bride!
Tonight, with guest speaker Eddie Chumney, we hit on four specific prayer targets:
1.REPENTANCE: That the bride would awaken to understand, recognize and realize what the bible definition of sin is, what the bible definition of repentance is, and that she would repent and return to following the Torah. (1 John 3:4)
2.LAWGIVER: That the bride would get a revelation and a deeper understanding of Yeshua our Messiah to know Him not only as our Savior but also as our Lawgiver. (Isaiah 33:22)
3.IDENTITY: That the bride would get a revelation and understanding of who is Yeshua's covenant family that He will rule and reign over: it is the House of Jacob! (Luke 1:33)
4. REDEMPTION: That the bride would get a revelation that the Messiah Yeshua is coming back to redeem the house of Jacob. She will "ask the way to ZION" and He will have mercy on her.

ROCK OF AGES
"The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer." (Psalm 18:2)
Lyrics
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure; Save from wrath and make me pure. Not the labor of my hands Can fulfill Thy law's demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow, All for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to the cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless look to Thee for grace; Foul, I to the fountain fly; Wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath, When mine eyes shall close in death, [originally When my eye-strings break in death] When I soar to worlds unknown, See Thee on Thy judgment throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.

FRAGMENTS OF COMET ATLAS
There's no longer any doubt. Comet ATLAS is falling apart. Around the world, amateur astronomers are beginning to witness the breakup, even imaging individual fragments. Jose de Queiroz photographed as many as 3 pieces on April 11th.
"I took the picture using the 90 cm telescope at Observatory Mirasteilas in Falera, Switzerland," says de Queiroz. "This is a stacked 20x120 sec exposure."
Confirming images from the Lulin One-meter Telescope in Taiwan have just been reported in an Astronomer's Telegram. The observing team, led by Zhong-Yi Lin of Taiwan's National Central University, estimates that the leading fragment is about 3400 km ahead of the trailing pair.
The breakup of Comet ATLAS coincides with a sharp decline in its brightness. The Comet Observation Database shows a drop of two full magnitudes (a factor of more than 6).
These trends suggest that the comet *might* completely desolve before its close approach to the sun inside the orbit of Mercury at the end of May. "Follow-up observations of C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS), both imaging and spectroscopy, are highly recommended to investigate the cause of this cometary breakup event," says Lin and colleagues.
"I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke." (Acts 2:19)

Anonymous Donor Sends $150 in Gift Cards to Every Household in 1,400-person Iowa Town
DES MOINES, Iowa - Residents in the town of Earlham, Iowa, woke up Thursday, checked their mailboxes and found a gift. It wasn't like Christmas had arrived, but it was close.
An anonymous donor surprised the town of about 1,400 that sits 30 minutes from downtown Des Moines by purchasing gift cards to three local businesses and arranging for the city to send them to every household.
In the midst of a global pandemic, that would be an act of kindness, no matter the amount on the cards. But the money can't be ignored. Residents of the town's 549 households received an envelope containing three $50 gift cards to West Side Bar and Grille, Hometown Market and Trostel's Broken Branch. The cards added up to more than $82,000 spent by the donor between the three restaurants, or more than $27,000 each.
It started with a March 26 call to Mayor Jeff Lillie from a man who said he was contacting Lillie on behalf of the donor. The man said the donor wanted to pump some money into the local economy and said the donor was willing to purchase 100 $50 gift cards to West Side Bar and Grille and Hometown Market, the local grocery store.
