Birthed out of the witness of the people of MALAWI, this initiative was organized in one week flat, and was announced only this past Friday on the world wide web. This concept is now roaring like GRASS ROOTS FIRE across the world, with MANY signing on to join in the Day of Repentance this week!
History: For the past ten years, the intercessors of the nation of MALAWI have honored our Lord by calling for a Day of Repentance for Malawi. Then . . . something wonderful happened! While the rest of the world watched as the COVID-19 pandemic broke out among the peoples, THE PLAGUE NEVER ENTERED THEIR LAND!
When we all sought the Lord in His Word, to see if there might be a precedent for this blessing, Abba led us directly to: Numbers 16:47-50 -- "So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. He stood between the living and the dead, [making repentance]and the plague stopped. But 14,700 people died from the plague . . . Then Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance to the tent of meeting, for the plague had stopped."
Hence, when the plague broke out, the very HAND OF GOD stopped it from entering that land!

1. Opening Memorial Day, president laments: 'This year, we can't cry together - Times of Israel
Israelis on Monday evening commemorated the country's fallen soldiers and terror victims, bowing their heads for a minute of silence, as air raid sirens sounded nationwide to mark the start of Memorial Day.
Following the siren at 8 p.m., the official Memorial Day ceremony was held at the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City, which took place this year without an audience due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The extraordinary circumstances made for some stark imagery, with soldiers wearing protective face masks standing at attention in the nearly empty plaza.
As he began his televised speech, President Reuven Rivlin's voice cracked as he addressed bereaved families unable to attend.
"This year, you are alone in your rooms, listening to the echoes of their voices. We cannot come to your homes, we cannot stand alongside you at the military cemeteries. We cannot embrace you," he said.

2. On Its 72nd Birthday, Israel Is Home to Nine Million People, Almost Seven Million Jews - Algemeiner
Israel's population is now more than nine million people, with almost seven million of them Jews, Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics revealed on Sunday.
The CBS's raft of statistics, which it annually publishes just before Israel's Independence Day, showed that Israel at 72 is home to 9,190,000 people.
Of these, 6,806,000 are Jews (74%), 1,930,000 (21%) are Arabs and Druze, and the reminder belong to other communities and religions.
Since last Independence Day, Israel's population has increased by 171,000 (1.9%). 180,000 babies were born and 32,000 people immigrated to the country. 44,000 Israelis died over the past year.
The statistics showed that Israel is home to 45% of the world's Jews. 78% of Israeli Jews are native-born.

3. Arab League calls urgent meeting to torpedo Israel's annexation plans - World Israel News
The Arab League will hold a virtual meeting to discuss how to organize opposition to Israel's plan to annex large swathes of Judea and Samaria, it announced on Monday.
The meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday, will be carried out by video conference and include the participation of Arab foreign ministers from across the Middle East.
The ministers will "discuss in their virtual meeting providing political, legal and financial support to the Palestinian leadership to confront the Israeli plans," the Arab League's deputy secretary Hossam Zaki said.
The meeting was called at the request of the Palestinian Authority.
Last week, the Arab League's Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit warned UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that Israel's plans risked "igniting tension in the region."

4. Report: Israel strikes pro-Iranian militia base in Syria - Israel Hayom
Syria on Monday accused Israel of carrying out pre-dawn airstrikes near Damascus, saying that its air defenses units had engaged "incoming Israeli warplane activity" in Lebanese airspace.
The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency reported that Israeli jets fired several missiles from Lebanese airspace at an are near Damascus, but the projectiles were. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
Video posted to Syrian social media in the early hours of Monday morning what appeared to be several missiles being fired into the air and loud explosions.
According to media reports, the target was a base housing pro-Iranian militias. There were conflicted reported about the number of casualties, with some outlets saying seven people were killed and others claiming three people were killed and four injured.

5. Lapid says ready to vote with Netanyahu to prevent Gantz becoming PM - Jerusalem Post
Yesh Atid-Telem leader Yair Lapid intensified his attack on former Blue and White partner Benny Gantz on Monday, when he told a Knesset committee he would be willing to prevent him from becoming prime minister.
Lapid spoke at a stormy session of the special Knesset committee formed to legislate the bills necessary for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gantz to form a government together. According to the proposed bills, 75 MKs would be needed to change the law and cancel the rotation between Netanyahu and Gantz.
"Any time Bibi wants to stop the rotation [in the Prime Minister's Office], all he has to do is come to me and say that he wants to return the laws to how they were before, and I will say yes," Lapid said. "We respect our democracy, and these horrible and shameful bills must be canceled."

1. Democrats plan to censure lawmaker who credited Trump for COVID-19 recovery- Detroit News
Detroit Democrats plan to vote to censure and bar any future endorsements of a Democratic lawmaker who credited President Donald Trump with advocating for the drug that she said cured her of COVID-19.
State Rep. Karen Whitsett, D-Detroit, broke protocol by meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence during an April 14 meeting of COVID-19 survivors, during which she credited hydroxychloroquine for saving her life, a Democratic district leader said.
"Thank you for everything that you have done," Whitsett told Trump at the meeting. "I did not know that saying thank you had a political line. . . I'm telling my story and my truth, and this how I feel and these are my words."
Trump appeared to offer his support for the state representative late Thursday, tweeting, "Disgraceful. (Whitsett) Should join the Republican Party!"
The president also tweeted Friday morning about the controversy: "The Fake and totally corrupt News is after her as a means of getting to me. She's smart and strong, knows the truth. Already a heroine to many!
The meeting and other comments Whitsett made prior to and during the coronavirus pandemic have landed her in hot water with the 13th Congressional District Democratic Party Organization.

2. 'We're Missing The Bigger Pieces': Dr. Birx Scolds Media For Focusing On Trump Flubs Over Coronavirus Data- Daily Caller
Dr. Deborah Birx said Sunday that the media's insistence on rehashing President Donald Trump's mistakes could prevent people from getting useful information.
Birx explained to CNN's Jake Tapper that the United States could play a unique and important role in learning about the novel coronavirus, but the focus on Trump could hamper that ability.
Tapper began the segment with video from Trump's Thursday press conference and the quote heard around the world.
"There was an odd moment on Thursday when President Trump at the briefing mused aloud about whether injecting UV light or disinfectant into the human body as a way to treat coronavirus could be something looked into," Tapper began. "Dr. Birx, I just want to give you the opportunity right now. What should the American people know about disinfectants and the human body?"

_Lord, we thank You that Dr. Birx was able to call the media out for its attempt to sway public opinion away from the actual information. We pray that more and more the news media will be revealed as liars so that perhaps they will come to repentance.

3. Watch: E.R. Doctors Urge A Reopening: Lockdown Creating Public Health Crisis, Doctors 'Pressured' To Add COVID To Death Reports, Quarantining Healthy 'Never Seen' Before - Daily Wire

During a press conference on Wednesday, California emergency room doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care told reporters that nationwide lockdown policies are not an appropriate reaction to what current data shows about the China-originated novel coronavirus but are instead causing measurable public health issues, like spikes in domestic violence, sexual abuse, depression, and spreading fear to non-COVID-19 related would-be patients that are skipping out on vital health care.
"We understand microbiology, we understand immunology, and we want strong immune systems," Dr. Erickson told reporters, rebuffing inconsistent shelter-in-place orders . "I don't want to stay in my home and develop a weak immune system, and then come out and get a disease."

4. Trump forgoes WH press briefing for the first time since Easter weekend- The Hill
For the first time since Easter weekend, President Trump did not hold a press briefing Saturday at the White House with the coronavirus task force, a move that could signal a change in the frequency of the president's appearances in the weeks to come.
The White House press pool's call time on Saturday was pushed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and at 5:11 p.m. the same day, a travel/photo lid was called.
Since March, Trump and Vice President Pence have given almost 50 daily press briefings to update the country on the administration's ongoing response to the coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 53,000 people in the U.S.
Trump and his task force held an unusually short briefing on Friday, running about 25 minutes. Trump's briefing the previous Friday lasted around an hour and 45 minutes.
A report from Axios on Friday said the White House is reportedly planning to scale back virus-related briefings and may no longer appear daily.

5. Politico Quietly Updates Article After Claiming Trump Currently 'Owes' Millions To Bank Of China- Daily Caller
Politico quietly updated a story after first claiming that President Donald Trump currently "owes millions to the Bank of China" Friday.
The publication posted an article Friday suggesting President Donald Trump currently "owes" millions of dollars to the Bank of China, adding that "the loan is due soon." Politico was forced to quietly edit its story after it was determined that Trump apparently did not currently owe the Bank of China millions of dollars.
The publication updated the article, but did not admit that it may have bungled the story and did not retract its story.
"This article and headline were updated to include comment from the Bank of China and additional reporting," Politico wrote in its updated article.
"After the first version of this article was published, the Bank of China issued a statement Friday evening stating that it sold its debt on the building weeks after the 2012 loan on the property," Politico's current article admits. "Vornado Realty Trust owns 70 percent of the building."

6. FCC May Halt U.S. Operations Of Three State-Controlled Chinese Telecom Firms- OANN
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Friday said it may shut down the U.S. operations of three state-controlled Chinese telecommunications companies, citing national security risks.
The FCC issued so-called show cause orders to China Telecom Americas, China Unicom Americas, Pacific Networks Corp and its wholly owned subsidiary ComNet (USA) LLC, directing them to explain why it should not start the process of revoking authorizations enabling their U.S. operations.
The FCC's action represents the latest sign of President Donald Trump's administration taking a hard line toward China.
"We simply cannot take a risk and hope for the best when it comes to the security of our networks," FCC Chairman Ajit Pai said in a statement.
The FCC granted its approvals to the firms more than a decade ago. Since then, it said, "the national security and law enforcement risks linked to the Chinese government's activities have grown significantly."
The agency's show cause orders referred to the "sophistication and resulting damage of the Chinese government's involvement in computer intrusions and attacks against the United States," but did not elaborate.

7. Adam Schiff: 50,000 Americans Dead Because Trump Wasn't Removed - Breitbart
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) claimed Friday evening that 50,000 Americans died because the Senate failed to remove President Donald Trump from office during the impeachment trial in February.
Schiff's argument runs counter to those who have argued that the impeachment trial was a pointless distraction that prevented Congress from acting to help stop the pandemic. A timeline of events reveals that President Trump took the first actions against the pandemic despite the trial, including forming the coronavirus task force, and banning travel with China.
Schiff told MSNBC's Chris Hayes:
There is one thing that, really, I have to say haunts me from the trial and it was before that snippet you showed where we knew we had to answer the question to the senators, okay, essentially, house managers, you've proved him guilty [sic] , does he really need to be removed after all? we have an election in nine months. how much damage could he really do? and we posed that question to the Senate and we answered it by saying that he could do an awful lot of damage but frankly, Chris, I don't think we had any idea how much damage he would go on to do in the months ahead. There are 50,000 Americans now who are dead, in significant part because of his incompetence, because of his inability to think beyond himself and put the country first. I don't think we would have ever anticipated that his brand of narcissism and his brand of incompetence would be so fatal to the American people.

8. CNN 'Larry King' episode featuring Biden accuser's mother disappears from Google Play catalog - Fox
The 1993 episode of CNN's "Larry King Live" featuring an anonymous caller who was later identified as the mother of Biden accuser Tara Reade was no longer listed in Google Play's catalog late Saturday.
Twitter user J.L. Hamilton shared a screenshot showing the Aug. 11, 1993, broadcast of "Larry King Live" was no longer listed in the season three catalog of the iconic CNN talk show. Mysteriously, though, the Aug. 10 broadcast, which is listed as "Episode 154" is followed by the Aug. 12 broadcast, which is listed as "Episode 155," suggesting that episode and the ones that follow could be incorrectly listed and off by a number.
Fox News later verified the Aug. 11 episode is not listed on the streaming service. It is unclear when it was removed from the catalog.
Fox News reached out to CNN and Google for comment. Google has yet to respond. Fox News also reached out to the representation of Larry King and have not received a response.
On Sunday afternoon, CNN provided as a statement a reply tweet from CNN Communications spokesperson Matt Dornic, who denied that the network removed anything from Google Play, calling the allegation from Hamilton "B.S."
"Listings on the site are not sourced thru CNN. Click any episode, it will say 'not available to watch,'" Dornic added in the reply to the Twitter user.

9. New York cancels presidential primary, citing coronavirus, after Sanders camp asked to stay on ballot - Fox
New York has canceled its Democratic presidential primary for the first time ever due to the coronavirus pandemic -- igniting a backlash from supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose campaign had asked that his name be allowed to stay on the ballot.
The move by Democrats on the New York State Board of Elections -- nixing the election scheduled for June 23 -- followed Sanders' announcement earlier this month that he would suspend his presidential campaign, rendering former Vice President Joe Biden the presumptive Democratic nominee.
With this decision, New York became the first state to cancel its primary altogether, though 16 states have postponed their primaries amid the pandemic and many have taken steps to encourage voting by mail.

10. Louisiana pastor breaks house arrest to hold Sunday service amid coronavirus stay-at-home orders- Fox
The embattled Louisiana pastor who repeatedly flouted social distancing measures defied house arrest by hosting a large gathering of congregants for a Sunday service in defiance of orders to stay at home to limit the impact of the coronavirus.
Pastor Tony Spell of the Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge was seen on a live stream Sunday walking among more than 100 congregants, often repeating the phrase, "I've just got to get to Jesus. ... Come on America, let's get back to Jesus."
Nearly all parishioners were not wearing face masks, and social distancing was not being practiced, The Associated Press reported.
Spell had been placed on house arrest at 9 a.m. Saturday morning after refusing to tell a judge if he'd continue to hold Sunday services.
A Facebook Live video shared by Central City News showed the pastor playing the piano surrounded by family members inside his home. A man wearing personal protective equipment had Spell sign paperwork before fitting him for an ankle monitor.

The left: Take disinfectant and drop dead
As America begins to reopen in May, citizens should consider what this means. In reality, it means a new normal. We all need to exercise great care. On one hand, we need to take precautions that we are safe. On the other hand, we need to get this nation back to work and our economy on the road to recovery. Two things must recover-the physical health of our citizens and the economic health of our businesses. We have had a couple of months to figure out how to be responsible by keeping distance, wearing face covering, washing hands, using common sense. Don't be a renegade. Do the right thing. But there is one more healing that must take place, and I have little hope that it will.
The political left needs to heal their hate. It's a visceral hate for President Trump and all those who support him or would vote for him. To the political left-which includes the Democratic Party, most of Hollywood, and most of the news media-anyone who doesn't believe like them is an enemy of the state--To the point that they will sacrifice lives to see their opposition fail. There is no better example of this than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) holding up for over a week badly needed, life-saving funding for COVID-19 relief to advance her socialist agenda with funding for pet projects unrelated to the spread of the virus. She and presidential candidate Joe Biden opposed Trump's early ban on travel from China.
These people have hammered Trump, Christians, conservatives every day this year. If it wasn't impeachment allegations, it was attacks about COVID-19. And now it will be attacks on the economy, unemployment, more investigations, and sob stories about what has happened. But they will not offer any solutions. They will not offer to come along side and work together as Americans and solve this crisis and the pending challenges that will result from it. Their hate is too great. They wish to attack. They wish to criticize. They wish to obstruct. They wish to accuse others to hide their own actions of doing exactly what they accuse. They are vessels of hate, of self-righteousness anchored in political intolerance and ideological bigotry. Every day there is a new quote illustrating their hate.
Celebrity Howard Stern wins this week's award for hate-mongering. On his Monday Sirius XM show he went on a rant against Trump and ALL his supporters. Stern said, "I would love it if Donald would get on TV and take an injection of Clorox and let's see if his theory works...Or hold a big rally...with all of his followers, and let them hug each other and kiss each other and have a big, big rally." Then Co-host Robin Quivers said, "A big cocktail of disinfectant." And Stern replied, "Yeah, and all take disinfectant and all drop dead." There have been similar comments from many on the left. This hatred is a huge festering sore in the soul of this nation. In Christ's prophetic chronology of the end times in Matthew 24:12, he said, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." We can see how this prophecy can unfold. Sadly.
