News from the White House

1. President Trump 'Kept His Campaign Promise' to Stand Up to China - Fox Business

President Trump and his administration have done an extraordinary job in slowing the spread of the coronavirus by taking early action to ban travel with China and providing detailed guidelines to both mitigate the spread of the virus and reverse its devastating economic impact," Andy Puzder and former Ambassador to Japan Bill Hagerty write for Fox Business.

"This isn't the first time it has been necessary for President Trump to stand up to the Communist Chinese regime." (Read more)

2. With America reopening, the future of the Democratic Party lies in governor's hands - Washington Times

On Thursday, President Trump announced the guidelines for Opening Up America Again, a three-phase process to get states up and running and get Americans back to work after what has been nearly two months of being without pay.

The president has left it up to the governors to look at their own data and determine on their own when it's time to reduce the restrictions on their citizens. This is a tremendous step in the right direction for the country, while at the same time an incredibly smart strategic move for the Republican Party.

It goes without saying that people want to go back to work. You, reading this right now, might be one of the most harmed by the coronavirus "essential business" and stay-at-home orders. I have no concept of what it must have felt like to have been living paycheck to paycheck or have just turned a corner in savings or gotten yourself out of a longtime debt to ultimately be kneecapped with a mere hour's notice that you were no longer able to work.

3. Jennifer Pickens: During coronavirus, Melania Trump continues offering comfort to children, families - Fox News

COVID-19 will undoubtedly change America as we know it, but it is also a defining moment for our first lady. For those closely watching, it seems as though she knows it and is rising to the occasion.

The truly unprecedented devastation of COVID-19 has impacted the role of the first lady in ways not seen before. There is no past occupant Melania Trump can look to as a guide because how a first lady would normally react and interact with the American people doesn't apply under the current circumstances.

Trump can't look to Laura Bush, who was seen comforting survivors of the attacks of Sept. 11, or visit a combat zone as Pat Nixon did during Vietnam - this enemy is unique and does not allow for the visible and customary scenes of a first lady.

4. The Flynn Case Is a Travesty - National Review

For more than three years, Michael Flynn waged a strange battle to clear his name after pleading guilty to lying to FBI agents and then declining a judge's invitation to withdraw the plea. But there has always been something very wrong about the case, and we've learned more about it in recent weeks.

The retired army general, fleetingly President Trump's first national-security adviser, was investigated during the Trump transition by anti-Trump officials at the FBI and Obama Justice Department on nebulous grounds.

There was no criminal predicate for the probe: Flynn's communications with Sergey Kislyak - then the Russian ambassador to the U.S. - during the transition, which set off the whole affair, were entirely proper. The idea that they violated the Logan Act forbidding private interference in the conduct of U.S. foreign policy was always absurd. The last indictment under the constitutionally dubious act was in 1852, and the statute wasn't meant to tie the hands of high-level officials of an incoming administration.

Focus on Israel

1. Israeli invention turns tap water into antiviral solution - Israel 21c

Bacteria and viruses can be killed effectively through a new method that instantly turns ordinary tap water into a powerful, environmentally friendly disinfectant on demand.

The technology was developed by chemists at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan and patented last year by the university's BIRAD Research and Development Company.

Disinfectant solutions made with this technology previously were proven for their bacteria-killing abilities in hospital tests done in Israel.

Recently, the disinfectant also proved effective in neutralizing corona-type viruses in tests conducted in the lab of Prof. Ronit Sarid of BIU's Mina and Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences.

2. Report: coronavirus mutation may make it more contagious - World Israel News

A study by American and British scientists discovered a mutation in the original coronavirus that may mean the virus has become more contagious, an official at Los Alamos National Laboratory confirmed Sunday.

Researchers at the laboratory in New Mexico, Duke University in North Carolina and the University of Sheffield in England investigating the COVID-19 virus discovered a mutation labeled Spike D614G. Viruses with the Spike D614G mutation have been replacing the original Wuhan form of the virus and spreading rapidly around the globe.

The study was published on the biology research platform bioRxiv and has yet to be peer-reviewed, but the findings indicate the mutation makes the virus more contagious. However, the researchers did not yet find any evidence that the mutation leads to more hospitalizations or deaths, but the increased possibility of infection might make it more difficult to control the pandemic.

The bioRxiv platform is designed to speed up the research process by letting the scientific community review preliminary findings immediately and give feedback before a paper is submitted to an accredited journal for publication.

3. Israel to implement 4-stage reopening of economy - World Israel News

Israel's government is discussing significant steps for a graduated return of the economy to near full activity.

At the top of the list is a lifting of the ban on going more than 100 meters from one's home except for food, medicine or work and the opening of parks and other public places.

"Starting off this week with some good news. There are less than 50 new daily Covid-19 infections in Israel at the moment," tweeted Ofir Gendelman, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's spokesman for Arab affairs.

"Some hospitals even closed their coronavirus wards. Let's hope this trend continues in Israel and around the world as well."

4. Netanyahu: Israel will invest $60 million in R&D for coronavirus vaccine - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced at a global coronavirus vaccine conference that Israel will invest $60 million in research and development in the fields of diagnosis, treatment and the development of medicine and vaccines for the novel coronavirus.

World leaders launched a pledging "marathon" on Monday - without the United States - to raise at least $8 billion for research into a possible vaccine and treatments for the coronavirus.

Organizers included the European Union, non-EU states Britain and Norway, as well as Japan, Canada and Saudi Arabia, although, China, where the virus originated in December, was only represented by its ambassador to the European Union.

5. Iran Cancels Annual Anti-Israel 'Quds Day' Rallies Due to Coronavirus Pandemic - Algemeiner

Iran will not hold its annual "Quds Day" rallies calling for Israel's annihilation this year, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Islamic Republic's semi-official Tasnim state news agency reported that General Ramezan Sharif, described as head of the "Intifada (Uprising) and Quds Center at Iran's Islamic Propagation Coordination Council," made the announcement at a press conference Sunday. Sharif is typically referred to in Iranian state media reports as a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Despite the cancellations, however, Iran's "Supreme Leader" Ali Khamenei will make an address on May 22 to mark Quds Day, and the head of Hamas' "political bureau" Ismail Haniyeh or another top terrorist ally will appear as a guest in Tehran.

Quds Day is usually marked with huge rallies and marches, with slogans and speeches denouncing Israel and often expressing genocidal attitudes toward the Jewish state, most notably the chant "death to Israel."

6. For the First Time: All Gay 'Pride' Parades in Israel Cancelled - Breaking Israel News

Gay 'Pride' Parades in Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva, Haifa and Jerusalem have all been postponed until the end of the summer due to Health Ministry regulations reports NRG. The marches were originally scheduled to take place in June - 'Pride month'.

Pride marches in Israel have not been cancelled since they began 22 years ago in 1998. A joint statement was released by the LGBT movement's branches throughout Israel saying: "During the usual Pride month - June, we expect to hold several events in larger and smaller cities, most of them virtually and in collaboration with both community groups and local organizations." The statement stressed that "the events will mark the LGBT struggle for equality alongside expressing solidarity with the difficulties experienced by residents of Israel and a salute to health professionals and all assisting bodies."

1. Outrageous 'Don't Defend Trump' Memo Uncovered, Was Written by Top Republican Strategist - Western Journal

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has sent out a 57-page memo advising GOP candidates how to address the coronavirus crisis during the 2020 campaign, Politico reported Friday.

The linchpin of the ludicrous strategy put forth in the document is to avoid mentioning President Donald Trump's role during the national emergency.

The political consulting firm O'Donnell & Associates, headed by Brett O'Donnell, authored the memo. O'Donnell, described by Politico as a "top Republican strategist," has advised numerous candidates, including failed GOP presidential nominees Mitt Romney and John McCain.

The memo recommends that Senate candidates focus on bashing China as the COVID-19 culprit rather than defending the impressive leadership of Trump during one of the worst calamities in American history.

2. SHUTDOWN UNREST: From CA To NY, Thousands Across Nation Turn Out For Lockdown Protests - Daily Wire

Well over a month into coronavirus shutdown mode, unrest bubbled to the surface in states across the nation on Friday. From New York to California, thousands gathered in protest, demanding an end to draconian lockdown measures.

An estimated 500-plus protesters gathered in Huntington Beach, California on Friday, rejecting Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom's coronavirus measures, including his order to close all public beaches in Orange County.

"The city itself has also made it clear it will be fighting back against the governor's order," The Wrap reported Friday. "During an emergency meeting late on Thursday, the Huntington Beach City Council voted to seek an injunction against Newsom's order."

Nearby, hundreds gathered in San Diego to protest the lockdown, too. There was a mixture of mask-wearing and non-mask-wearing protesters, holding signs like "Look Ma No Mask," "All Jobs Are Essential," and "Re-Open California"

3. Five Eyes Intelligence Memo Details China COVID-19 Cover-Up - Newsmax

China's malfeasance in unleashing the global coronavirus pandemic on the world, which has killed more than 245,185 to date, was detailed in a 15-page dossier authored by "Five Eyes" intelligence.

China accidentally leaked the COVID-19 from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, lied in a "deadly denial of human-to-human transmission" until Jan. 20, obfuscated whistleblower reports, censored internet reports in a cover-up, and withheld important scientific information - including virus samples - to help other countries treat the disease, according to a memo leaked to Australia's The Daily Telegraph.

All told, it is a scathing rebuke of President Xi Jinping's China issued by Five Eyes' consortium of intelligence from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

China's handling is an "assault on international transparency," the memo stated, adding researchers who blew the whistle on the outbreak early have been either silenced, allegedly jailed, or have mysteriously disappeared, per the report.

4. US beef output tumbles as meat plants prepare to reopen - Fox News

Shoppers are encountering limits to how much meat they can buy at the supermarket as the meat industry tries to return to normal after roughly three percent of employees at infected meat and poultry processing plants contracted coronavirus.

Major producers including Smithfield Foods, Tyson Foods and Cargill had to shutter plants in April after workers contracted the virus. Now facilities including a Tyson Foods pork plant in Logansport, Ind., will begin to restart this week

But the companies may have to play catch-up because of falling livestock slaughter rates. For example, cattle slaughter fell 37% last week compared to the same period in 2019, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data.

Equipping workers to prevent the spread of the virus could slow down plant activity, too.

5. Interfaith Maryland Imam Tells Muslims to Arm Up Against Trump-Supporting Neighbors - Breaking Israel News

Imam Omar Baloch of Chicago has posted several disturbing sermons on YouTube recently, blaming the pandemic on American Zionists plotting to damage the Chinese economy, secret societies, and has also declared it to be a punishment from Allah. But his most disturbing sermon was posted on March 22.

In the video, Baloch noted that the pandemic would peak in the {sic} U.S. over the next few weeks.

"Many Muslims are going to pass away," Baloch noted. "The first thing is the spiritual aspect. All theories and thought and feel of control aside, are we ready to die?"

Baloch said that "every human being is going to get this virus at some point."

6. DOJ sides with church suing Virginia Gov. Northam after pastor who held 16-person service faced fine, jail  - Fox News

The Justice Department is siding with a Virginia church suing Gov. Ralph Northam after police threatened a pastor with jail time or a $2,500 fine for violating the state's coronavirus lockdown restrictions by holding a 16-person church service on Palm Sunday.

The DOJ decision came after police in protective garb served a summons to Kevin Wilson, the pastor of Lighthouse Fellowship Church on Chincoteague Island, for holding the service on April 5 with 16 people spaced far apart from one another in a church that could fit 293 people. State officials said Wilson and the church violated the Virginia Constitution by breaking state-imposed social distancing restrictions intended to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

"The Commonwealth of Virginia has offered no good reason for refusing to trust congregants who promise to use care in worship in the same way it trusts accountants, lawyers, and other workers to do the same," the DOJ said in a statement of interest obtained by Fox News on Sunday.

Mat Staver, the chairman and founder of Liberty Counsel, representing the pastor, accused Northam, a Democrat, of discriminating against the church and violating the First Amendment.

7. McConnell and Pelosi decline Trump offer for rapid coronavirus testing on Capitol Hill - Washington Examiner

Congressional leaders have declined President Trump's offer to provide rapid coronavirus tests to Capitol Hill.

The president offered to provide Congress with the Abbott Test, which only takes minutes to work, after it became clear that they did not have the same testing capabilities. Despite Trump's Saturday morning offer on Twitter, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell declined because they wanted the resources to go where they are needed most.

"Congress is grateful for the Administration's generous offer to deploy rapid COVID-19 testing capabilities to Capitol Hill, but we respectfully decline the offer at this time," McConnell and Pelosi said in a joint statement. "Our country's testing capacities are continuing to scale up nationwide, and Congress wants to keep directing resources to the front-line facilities where they can do the most good the most quickly."

8. Terrorist threats rise amid coronavirus pandemic  - The Hill

Government officials and researchers are warning world leaders not to lose focus on global security threats as extremist groups and terrorist organizations exploit the coronavirus pandemic to increase their operations.

Top lawmakers on both sides of the Atlantic and the European Union's anti-terrorism chief have issued warnings in recent days that bad actors are threatening global security and growing their influence as countries address the impacts of the pandemic.

The increased warnings come as governments, including the U.S., will have to balance their national security budgets as they pour resources into reviving their economies and into public health.

"The massive amount of money that will be spent to address the economic, social and healthcare consequences of the virus risks being at the expense of security," Gilles de Kerchove, the counterterrorism coordinator for the European Union told Reuters on Wednesday. "We must prevent the one crisis ending up producing another."

9. Asian Giant Hornets Invading Washington State, Pose Numerous Threats To U.S.- Daily Wire

A new invasive species of giant hornets from Asia has been discovered in the Washington state area, and scientists are now rushing to locate the destructive insects to exterminate them before they spread throughout the United States and become impossible to eradicate.

The hornet, called the Asian Giant Hornet, has been on the radar of officials since late December when they were first discovered in Blaine, near the Canadian border.

"With queens that can grow to two inches long, Asian giant hornets can use mandibles shaped like spiked shark fins to wipe out a honeybee hive in a matter of hours, decapitating the bees and flying away with the thoraxes to feed their young," The New York Times reported. "For larger targets, the hornet's potent venom and stinger - long enough to puncture a beekeeping suit - make for an excruciating combination that victims have likened to hot metal driving into their skin."

The Asian Giant Hornet kills dozens of people every year in Japan and in China and, according to Washington State entomologist Chris Looney, they are most notorious for their attacks on honey bees.

- Lord, we pray that You will root out every nest, every invasive hornet that has come to this country from Asia. 10. Journalists mock NY Times' call for 'unbiased' DNC panel to investigate Biden: 'Is this satire?'- Fox News

The New York Times editorial board faced mockery from multiple journalists Sunday, after the board suggested that a sexual assault allegation against former Vice President Joe Biden be investigated - by none other than the Democratic National Committee.

The Times editorial called for records from Biden's time in the Senate to be reviewed by what they called "an unbiased, apolitical panel, put together by the D.N.C.," leading Axios' Jonathan Swan to speculate whether the Times actually was serious.

"Is this satire?" Swan tweeted, quoting the above language.

- Father, asking the Democrats to investigate Mr. Biden is like asking a snake to investigate a hen house. We pray that not only will this not take place, but that the NYT will either turn from its wicked ways or be sold to someone who is not biased.

If not for you

Since mid-March, Pastor William Agbeti in Ghana has worked tirelessly organizing volunteers, buying foodstuffs and delivering them to: "those who would not have received any help, even from Government, as they have fallen through the cracks in society; the poorest of the poor, the littlest of the least, the totally hopeless, including orphaned children, widows, disabled persons, and others negatively impacted by COVID-19 such that they are unable to fend for themselves and their families." One of our volunteers summed it up: "The biggest problem facing the poor and needy in our area now is hunger. Without the Ministry's intervention, it's likely many poor souls are going to die of hunger."

I often write about the Christian response to crisis-that we are to be the light of Christ shining through the darkness. Daily Jot readers have stepped into that light and have saved lives. Between March and April, donations to this ministry helped feed over 1,000 people for a week at a time in Ghana. We have a life-saving partnership with Pastor Agbeti, indeed a life-giving enterprise because we are feeding the most underserved and marginalized with not only food, but also with the Word of God. Those of you who have read The Daily Jot and have prayed and have donated have responded well because you likely have saved lives. Think of how we were here in America when the lockdown came and try to put yourself in the shoes of those who were barely surviving day to day. I say, "If not for you..."

Pastor Agbeti writes: "In the wake of COVID-19, POSITIVE has become the most NEGATIVE word in human history. The number of positive cases related to the CORONAVIRUS pandemic in Ghana keeps rising in leaps and bounds. As at the time of writing this story, Ghana has officially clocked 2,164 positive cases, with over 1,000 new cases in just the past week. This may call for another lockdown. Already, our Ministry is stretched thin in answering distress calls for foodstuffs from individuals and families. Another lockdown is going to make matters worse. Coupled with this is the issue of price gouging, many foodstuffs become cost prohibitive.

"The enormity of the situation cannot and should not weigh us down to stop providing free foodstuffs to those who need it most. We must continue to express the love of G-d in tangible ways to the needy. In times like this, it takes hearts touched by G-d to honor and glorify Him, to deliver help, to spread love and to show compassion. "Finally, brethren", as Philippians 4:8 rightly puts it, "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."" Our work is not finished. If not for you...

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Americans urged to pray remotely for revival, God's glory on National Day of Prayer

On the 69th National Day of Prayer to be observed Thursday, the Southern Baptist Convention is calling on Americans to join in a nationwide, remote prayer gathering for spiritual awakening and revival, and to pray specifically for seven centers of influence.

As the theme for the National Day of Prayer is "Pray God's Glory Across the Earth," SBC is urging Christians to pray for God's glory into the seven centers of influence: government, military, media & arts, business, education, church and family.

"Pray for wisdom (for federal, state and local officials) in all matters related to COVID-19, and the major national and global challenges they address daily. Pray that God will work in them and through them," the prayer guide says. "Ask God for a great spiritual awakening in the United States."

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Christian leaders will gather remotely to observe the day on May 7.

A Classic Hymn

LOVE LIFTED ME

"Come," he said. . . Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" (Matthew 14:29-31)

Lyrics

I was sinking deep in sin,
Far from the peaceful shore,
Very deeply stained within,
Sinking to rise no more,
But the Master of the sea,
Heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me,
Now safe am I.

Refrain

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me!
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me!

All my heart to Him I give,
Ever to Him I'll cling
In His blessèd presence live,
Ever His praises sing,
Love so mighty and so true,
Merits my soul's best songs,
Faithful, loving service too,
To Him belongs.

Refrain

Souls in danger look above,
Jesus completely saves,
He will lift you by His love,
Out of the angry waves.
He's the Master of the sea,
Billows His will obey,
He your Savior wants to be,
Be saved today.

Refrain

Bits of Halley's Comet lights up Eta Aquarids meteor shower multiple nights this week

Temperatures are mild in many locations, making it a great time to get up early for a celestial show.

iyou missed the Lyrid meteor shower in April, there's another opportunity to catch some "shooting stars" this week as the remnants of a famous comet burn up in the night sky.

The Eta Aquarids are forecast to peak Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5-6.

Every year around this time, the Earth drifts through a stream of debris left behind by Halley's Comet. Bits of dust, rock and other debris heat up as they collide with our atmosphere, creating the fleeting trails and the occasional fireballs that can be seen with the naked eye.

According to NASA, the meteors appear to originate from the constellation Aquarius and more precisely from the region of the constellation near one of its brightest stars, Eta Aquarii, which is how the shower gets its name.

Unfortunately, this year the shower has a bit of competition. It falls just before the final supermoon of 2020.

"Intense glare from one of the biggest full Moons of the year will reduce the number of visible meteors from the usual 40 per hour to no more than 10 or 15 per hour," writes astronomer Dr. Tony Phillips.

But if you're looking for a reason to get outside, that's still not a bad showing for any meteor shower.

Phillips says the best time to spot the Eta Aquarids is to get up early, an hour or so before sunrise when Aquarius is high in the eastern sky.

'This Was a Miracle': 94-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor Who Kicked COVID-19 Is Freed from Quarantine

[TheGoodNews / CBN News] Here's a note to the producers of the hit CBS-TV series "Survivor": Some folks in New Jersey would like to bestow the title of this year's honor of "Ultimate Survivor" to a 94-year-old man who survived not only the Holocaust but also a bout with COVID-19.

Walking down a red carpet on Tuesday, Jack Holzberg was met with cheers by the staff of the CareOne nursing home in Whippany as he was released from quarantine.

The New York Post reports Holzberg was diagnosed with COVID-19 in mid-April and treated at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York before he was moved to the nursing home in New Jersey to quarantine until he was healthy enough to return home.

"The fact that he's still here after all that he's been through and that he was able to survive this, it's amazing," said granddaughter Erica Wasserman.

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

Reading the Bible Together

WELCOME TO OUR BIBLE READATHON!

"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14)

> > > Reading the Word of God over our nation, six nights per week!! ALL NIGHT LONG!

We are now reading the Word of God every night (except on Sunday mornings) from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EDT. We are reading through the whole Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and beginning again in Genesis when finished. [As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]

Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075. The access code is: 206425#.

Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."

Hallelujah!!

Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!

In closing, let us decree together that . . .

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

AMEN!!

Reminder!

Our conference number is: 712-432-0075.
The access code is: 206425#.

And . . . once again . . . welcome!

Time to Repent

Time to Repent!

"Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about all the calamity I plan to bring upon them, each of them will turn from his wicked way. Then I will forgive their iniquity and their sin." (Jeremiah 36:3)

NO FEAR!

I lift up my eyes to the mountains —
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
The Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2
