President Trump Delivers Remarks to the Nation
President Trump Delivers Remarks to the Nation
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. My fellow Americans: My first and highest duty as President is to defend our great country and the American people. I swore an oath to uphold the laws of our nation, and that is exactly what I will do.
All Americans were rightly sickened and revolted by the brutal death of George Floyd. My administration is fully committed that, for George and his family, justice will be served. He will not have died in vain. But we cannot allow the righteous cries and peaceful protesters to be drowned out by an angry mob.
The biggest victims of the rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities, and as their President, I will fight to keep them safe. I will fight to protect you. I am your President of law and order, and an ally of all peaceful protesters.
> > > Read all of the President's remarks by going here.
- Father God, we thank You for giving us a President who stands on the side of law and order, and who will take any action deemed necessary to bring peace to our streets again in America. Strengthen our President in this resolve, O Lord, and may his own heart be encouraged to know that, indeed, he is doing the right thing in this critical time in our nation's history. In Your name we pray, amen.

1. 'Police will not break into homes; children will not be microchipped' - Jerusalem Post
Police will not be able to break into private homes, and children won't be microchipped, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear on Monday during his Likud faction meeting.
"It is important to dispel some of the fake news that has appeared in the media," Netanyahu said. "I have now spoken with the public security minister, and we have unequivocally agreed that we will not allow police to break into the homes of Israeli citizens without a warrant.
"We will find the right balance between the need to enforce isolation guidelines and the need to protect the rights of individuals and the civil liberties of Israeli citizens," he continued. "We are aware that in the public there is a thought that we will unravel this balance. We have not done so until now, and we will not do so in the future."
2. Thousands of Israeli students quarantined after COVID-19 cases found in schools - JNS
(June 1, 2020 / JNS) Multiple schools have been closed in Israel and thousands of students sent into quarantine after multiple students and staff members at schools in Jerusalem, Beersheva and Hadera tested positive for coronavirus.
In Hadera, a high school student's diagnosis sent 2,180 students and teachers into two weeks of isolation, and led to the temporary closure of the school.
More than 130 students and staff members at Jerusalem's Gymnasia Rehavia high school were diagnosed with coronavirus last week, leading the school to be closed. Subsequent testing of students at the Gymnasium's feeder school-the Paula Ben-Gurion-Rehavia elementary school-revealed that one student had the virus.
3. Gantz tells army to step up preparations, as West Bank annexation looms - Times of Israel
Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Monday ordered IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi to "step up preparations for the Israel Defense Forces," ahead of a government proposal to annex portions of the West Bank, his office said.
The military has roughly one month to complete preparations ahead of the government's plan to extend Israeli sovereignty to settlements and the Jordan Valley - some 30 percent of the West Bank - which many defense analysts and officials have warned could lead to an outbreak of Palestinian violence, as well as threaten Jerusalem's ties with its neighbor Jordan and other Arab countries.
Gantz himself is believed to oppose unilateral annexation, but his coalition deal with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allows the latter to push forward with the plan from July 1, so long as he can secure approval from the Knesset - where he is almost guaranteed a majority - and from the United States.
4. Saudi Arabia, Israel negotiating Temple Mount control - report - Jerusalem Post
Saudi Arabia and Israel are conducting negotiations to allow Saudi representatives to join the Jerusalem Waqf Islamic religious trust that controls the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa, according to a report Monday by Israel Hayom.
"These are sensitive and secret discussions conducted with ambiguity and low intensity with a small team of diplomats and senior security officials from Israel, the US and Saudi Arabia as park of negotiations to progress the Deal of the Century," said senior Saudi diplomats to Israel Hayom.
While Jordan had strongly objected to any change in the makeup of the Waqf, in recent months their stance changed after Turkey became involved in east Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.
After the clashes surrounding the Gate of Mercy complex and the attempt to install metal detectors at the Temple Mount, Jordan appointed Palestinian representatives to the Waqf. The Palestinian representatives began to allow Turkish organizations to operate on the Temple Mount by establishing foundations to which the Turkish government provides tens of millions of dollars, according to Israel Hayom.
5. BDS co-founder says goal of movement is end of Israel - JNS
(June 1, 2020 / JNS) While Israel's supporters claim that the BDS movement is aimed at the Jewish state and is a form of new anti-Semitism, its supporters in Western countries say it's merely a tool to change Israeli policies.
However, in a newly recorded interview on May 21 with the Gazan Voice Podcast, co-founder of the BDS movement Omar Barghouti explains that should the movement's goals be achieved, Israel would cease to exist.
"If the refugees return to their homes [in Israel] as the BDS movement calls for, if we bring an end to Israel's apartheid regime and if we end the occupation on lands occupied in 1967, including Jerusalem, what will be left of the Zionist regime? That's the question. Meaning, what will the two states be based on?" he said.
During the 20-minute interview in Arabic to the Gazan audience, Barghouti appears to have let slip the real objective of the movement he founded.
The Daily Brief
1. Protests over death of George Floyd, police killings spread to London, Berlin, Toronto - Washington Post
Street protests over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis went global over the weekend, as demonstrators in London, Berlin and Toronto gathered under banners declaring that Black Lives Matter and called for an end to police brutality in the United States and around the world.
In London, hundreds defied rules against large gatherings Sunday to rally at Trafalgar Square and mass outside the new U.S. Embassy on the south bank of the River Thames, where they chanted "no justice, no peace" in solidarity with the U.S. movement against racial bias in the criminal justice system.
Demonstrators there and in Berlin waved signs reading "I can't breathe" - some of the last words that the dying Floyd, captured by an onlooker's video, gasped out in Minneapolis as a police officer pressed his knee down on Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes on May 25.
London's Metropolitan Police said they had made five arrests outside the U.S. Embassy on Sunday - two for assault on a police officer and three for "breaches of COVID legislation." (Read more)
- In the name of Jesus we take authority over the spirit of division and lawlessness and we break its powers off of the United States and the entire globe. We loose the spirit of UNITY into the earth in Jesus name. We ask that those in charge of planning these dangerous riots would be revealed and held accountable in the name of Jesus. Amen.
- "Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good," (Titus 3:1)
2. The president is here': Secret Service members in riot gear clash with protesters outside White House - Washington Examiner
A large group of protesters pushed against a wall of Secret Service members protecting the White House and President Trump. Reporting from Lafayette Park only a few hundred yards away from the White House, Fox News correspondent Leland Vittert said the scene was "unprecedented," as Secret Service members in riot gear were met by at least 100 protesters.
"I have never seen this in now six years in D.C. I don't know the last time that it's happened, but the Secret Service is now in riot gear," Vittert said. "They have exercised incredible strength with the epithets thrown at them."
The protesters were active in the area into the early hours of Saturday morning. The Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Park Police were also on the scene.
Earlier in the evening, the White House was placed on lockdown after protesters knocked down barricades in front of the complex. The lockdown was lifted after the scene had calmed down. Protests flared up again late Friday night. (Read more)
- Father God, as the unrest continues across the nation, we continue to pray Your mighty hand of protection over President Trump and his family. We pray a hedge of protection, a Consuming Fire of God around him that no harm or evil will come near his dwelling.
- "For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:29)
3. Police: 'Stashes' of bricks staged near protests were 'to be used during a riot' - WND
The Kansas City police department said Sunday that officers found bricks and rocks staged near protest sites around the city, stoking concerns that individuals or groups had pre-planned looting and destruction that hit the city over the weekend. "We have learned of & discovered stashes of bricks and rocks in & around the Plaza and Westport to be used during a riot," the department said in a tweet on Sunday.
What began as peaceful protests in many cities over the past several days has devolved into looting and rioting. Looters hit Kansas City's Plaza, a high-end retail district, on Saturday and Sunday.
Are at least some of the riots across America being staged by nefarious forces?
A spokesman for the Kansas City police department said he had not identified the source for the bricks and rocks found near the protest sites. But he said they were likely intended for "nefarious use." "I don't know who would have put them there. I don't think they're doing any type of construction or anything like that. I sense that they're probably there for nefarious use," Capt. David Jackson told reporters on Sunday. (Read more)
- Father, these riots are not what they seem. We ask that the hidden facts be brought to light. We ask for a total revealing of truth, that the evil underbelly of organizations behind the violence would be shown.
- "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." (Ephesians 5:11)
4. George Floyd's brother criticizes violent protesters: 'Don't tear up your town'- Fox News
The younger brother of George Floyd is calling for the end of violent protests and riots that have escalated in the U.S. over the past week, according to a report on Sunday.
Terrence Floyd told ABC News he wants justice handed to the officers responsible for his brother's death, but as violent demonstrations are currently wreaking havoc in many cities across the country, he feels they are not what his sibling would have wanted.
"[S]ometimes I get angry, I want to bust some heads, too," Terrence Floyd said. "I wanna . . . just go crazy. But I'm here. My brother wasn't about that. My brother was about peace. You'll hear a lot of people say he was a gentle giant." (Read more)
- Father God we ask that those who proclaim to seek justice for George Floyd would listen to his brother's wise words. We ask that you enlighten the hearts of these protesters that by destroying their own communities and their own neighbors is not justice for anyone. Amen.
- "Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble." (1 Peter 3:8)
5. 'You're going to look like a bunch of jerks': Trump tells governors 'most of you are weak' and urges them to 'dominate' as protests consume the nation - Business Insider
President Donald Trump on Monday laid the blame on governors for the unrest spreading across the nation, strongly urging the state leaders to crack down on protests and telling them that "most of you are weak," according to audio of a call with the governors and law-enforcement officials obtained by Insider.
Trump, who has tweeted in favor of law enforcement taking forceful measures against protesters, told governors on the call that they "have to dominate. If you don't dominate, you're wasting your time," said. "They're going to run over you. You're going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate."
Trump used the call, which the White House said would be about "keeping American communities safe," to berate governors for not using more aggressive measures to crack down on protests and to urge them to put people in jail.
"You're making a mistake because you're making yourselves look like fools. And some have done a great job. But a lot of you, it's not - it's not a great day for our country," Trump said, according to the CBS reporter Ed O'Keefe. "You know, when other countries watch this, they're watching this, the next day, wow, they're really a pushover. And we can't be a pushover." (Read more)
- Father God, we loose the spirit of unity between the president and governors across the United States, so that they will be in alignment and agree together about what needs to be done to stop this violence. We ask for courage and boldness to take control of the hearts of our leaders, so that the chaos will be stopped, in Jesus' name, amen.
- "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!"
(Psalm 133:1)
6. Trump on violent protesters: 'Where are the arrests and long term jail sentences?' - Fox News
President Trump on Sunday afternoon expressed outrage over an apparent lack of law enforcement arrests of rioters who have brought violence upon several American cities following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week.
"SO TERRIBLE! Where are the arrests and LONG TERM jail sentences?" Trump asked in reaction to a tweet claiming to show a graphic video of a Dallas man being beaten into critical condition while trying to defend a business.
Full video of the incident taken by Elijah Schaffer of Blaze TV purportedly showed the man on the receiving end of the beatdown first attempted to chase away the rioters while brandishing what appeared to be a large blade or sword.
"Law & Order in Philadelphia, NOW!" Trump tweeted in response to the riots in the Pennsylvania city. "They are looting stores. Call in our great National Guard like they FINALLY did (thank you President Trump) last night in Minneapolis. Is this what voters want with Sleepy Joe? All Dems!"
Trump added in a subsequent tweet: "Get tough Democrat Mayors and Governors. These people are ANARCHISTS. Call in our National Guard NOW. The World is watching and laughing at you and Sleepy Joe. Is this what America wants? NO!!!" (Read more)
- Father, this senseless violence and destruction is not welcome in our cities or our land. We pray for justice and truth to be the governing spirit over elected representatives in the states. We also pray for the evil-doers to stop, repent and recompense all whom they've harmed. We pray for your provision for the citizens of this nation who've suffered at the hands of others and that you are releasing a spirit of holiness and healing in this land.
- "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you." (Luke 6:27-28)
7. The return of the Anonymous hacker collective - BBC
As the United States deals with widespread civil unrest across dozens of cities, "hacktivist" group Anonymous has returned from the shadows. The hacker collective was once a regular fixture in the news, targeting those it accused of injustice with cyber-attacks. After years of relative quiet, it appears to have re-emerged in the wake of violent protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd, promising to expose the "many crimes" of the city's police to the world. However, it's not easy to pin down what, if anything, is genuinely the mysterious group's work.
The "hacktivist" collective has no face, and no leadership. Its tagline is simply "we are legion", referring to its allegedly large numbers of individuals. Without any central command structure, anyone can claim to be a part of the group. This also means that members can have wildly different priorities, and there is no single agenda. But generally, they are activists, taking aim at those they accuse of misusing power. They do so in very public ways, such as hijacking websites or forcing them offline.
Their symbol is a Guy Fawkes mask, made famous by Alan Moore's graphic novel V for Vendetta, in which an anarchist revolutionary dons the mask to topple a corrupt fascist government. (Read more)
- We plead the blood of Jesus over all state local and federal databases, computer systems, and intelligence agencies that it will block all cyber attacks. We pray that the masked individuals causing this kind of chaos would be unmasked and revealed in Jesus name.

8. White House: US sends 2M doses of hydroxychloroquine, 1K ventilators to Brazil - Fox News
The White House announced Sunday that the U.S. will send 2 million doses of hydroxychloroquine and 1,000 ventilators to Brazil as the South American country confronts the coronavirus pandemic.
The White House said in a joint statement with the Brazilian government that the doses of hydroxychloroquine will be used as preventative treatment for nurses, doctors and health-care professionals. Brazilian civilians who contract the virus will also be permitted to use the drug.
The U.S. and Brazil will also launch a joint research effort, including randomized controlled clinical trials, to test hydroxychloroquine's use as a preventive measure and early treatment of COVID-19.
"Going forward, the United States and Brazil will remain in close coordination in the shared fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing regional response to safeguard public health, further limit the spread of the coronavirus, advance the early development of a vaccine, and save lives," the statement reads. (Read more)
- Father, we thank you that there is a relationship between our President and the nation of Brazil. We ask you to destroy this virus in every way and that the nations of this earth can recover from this horrible assault on humanity. May this drug, HCQ, be abundantly and easily very effective everywhere it's used and many lives be restored, so they may praise You.
- "Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases." (Luke 9:1)
9. Hong Kong police ban Tiananmen memorial vigil, citing Covid-19 - The Guardian UK
Hong Kong police have formally banned this week's vigil for the Tiananmen Square massacre, citing Covid-19 measures. The move had been expected, especially after the Hong Kong government extended its ban on public gatherings in groups larger than eight, but the announcement confirms that for the first time since the Chinese military killed untold numbers of protesters on 4 June 1989, there will be no commemorative event.
The annual event - a sombre and peaceful affair attended by tens of thousands - is also often a vehicle for other causes. Attenders last year drew awareness to a proposed extradition bill that would draw a million people to the streets in protest just a few days later, and spark months of demonstrations.
On Monday, Hong Kong's police force wrote to organisers of the vigil to object to it taking place, citing the social distancing measures that were due to expire on Tuesday. It said public assemblies were a "high-risk activity" owing to the large crowds that gather. "Police believe the event will not only increase participants' chances of contracting the virus, but also threaten citizens' lives and health, thus endangering public safety and affecting the rights of others," police said. - Father, we will never forget the image of one man standing in front of the tanks that had already mowed over many people. He stood boldly, bravely, courageously to oppose the most powerful earthly force and he didn't back down. Let no one forget that one, on behalf of every person, who has been persecuted by China. Even more, let us remember The One who paid the price for all -- especially those in brutal nations.
- "Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." (Revelation 19:15)
10. Religious leaders join condemnation of Beijing's new national security law for Hong Kong - Christian Today
The former Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, and Church of England bishops are among the religious leaders to have added their names to an international letter signed by hundreds of leaders around the world condemning Beijing's new national security law in Hong Kong. China's legislation has sparked global outrage, with an international coalition of over 700 parliamentarians and dignitaries from over 36 countries uniting against Beijing's "flagrant breach of the Sino-British Joint Declaration".
The coalition is being led by former Hong Kong Governor Lord Patten and former UK Foreign Secretary, Sir Malcolm Rifkind, and spans the political spectrum, with dozens of current and former British parliamentarians from across parties adding their names. International signatories include former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, and US Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. The Bishop of Leeds, the Rt Rev Nick Baines, the Bishop of Coventry, the Rt Rev Christopher Cocksworth, Lord Alton of Liverpool, Fiona Bruce MP and former Cabinet Minister, the Rev Jonathan Aitken, are among the Christians to have signed the statement.
It reads: "We, the co-signed, write to express grave concerns about the unilateral introduction of national security legislation by Beijing in Hong Kong. "This is a comprehensive assault on the city's autonomy, rule of law, and fundamental freedoms. The integrity of one-country, two-systems hangs by a thread. "It is the genuine grievances of ordinary Hong Kongers that are driving protests. Draconian laws will only escalate the situation further, jeopardising Hong Kong's future as an open Chinese international city.
"If the international community cannot trust Beijing to keep its word when it comes to Hong Kong, people will be reluctant to take its word on other matters."Sympathetic governments must unite to say that this flagrant breach of the Sino-British Joint Declaration cannot be tolerated." (Read more)
- Oh Heavenly Father -- have mercy on the people of Hong Kong. They have been a pipeline for the goodness of God to reach mainland China. We ask You to push back the darkness and tyranny and loose a greater light and authority from the Holy Spirit. Let Your beloved Chinese Christians overwhelm evil and tyranny with Your Glorious Light, Word and Truth.
- "Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked." (Psalm 82:3-4)

Where are the statesmen?
As our nation is once again ravaged this year-first by COVID 19 and then by riots and unrest-leadership is lacking. Now before you get all riled up, think about it. The latest trend in political leadership is just to see who can out-smack talk the next person. Leadership plays the blame game, the label game, the investigation game. The only game in town that it doesn't play, is the "do the right thing game." Even President Trump carrying a Bible to church is criticized as if he has no right to carry a Bible. With all the problems we have as a nation, there is not a leader statesman-one who can cast a vision, unite the people behind it, and move it to reality. We are too divided.
It is no wonder that those who are earnestly protesting the senseless and tragic death of George Floyd are experiencing Antifa intermingled. One wants his voice to be heard about an unjust death, the guy next to him wants to burn down America because he thinks it's a fascist nation. Both are wearing masks, one because of COVID 19 and the other from wanting to hide his face. This is just an example of how things are divided. The divisions are everywhere. It is as if there is no point of agreement in anything. It's us against them, but that can even change based on the issue being discussed. Even when a leader tries to lead, his voice is drowned out by clanging cymbals of his opposition. No one listens. No one hears.
So where are the statesmen? Where are those who will rise above the political weaponization of words and cast a unifying vision that others can follow? It may be you. Each of us who are Christ followers, have at least part of the answer, at least part of the vision. We have the commandments of Christ that begin with love and showing love. As Christ told his disciples in John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." He said in Mark 12:30-31, "AND you shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength; this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these."
If you follow these commandments, you are equipped to be a statesman. Ephesians 6 talks about putting on the full armor of God that you will be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Verse 17 says, "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." These assist you so that you may open your mouth "boldly, to make know the mystery of the gospel." You are the ambassador of Christ here on earth. You are the statesman, not in judgment, but in love; not in anger, but in truth; not motivated by political bias, but by the Word of God, which is Christ and his teachings. Statesmen do not get tangled up in the politics of the moment, but rather speak wisdom to the need.
President Trump Visits St. John’s Church
Trump visits historic DC church after protesters cleared with tear gas
President Trump walked to visit the historic St. John's Church near the White House after protesters were forcefully removed from Lafayette Park by law enforcement officers who fired tear gas into the crowd ahead of a citywide curfew.
Trump visited the church after vowing in a Rose Garden address to mobilize the military to help quell protests across the country that broke out following the death of George Floyd.
Trump posed for photos in front of the church, which was set fire Sunday evening as violent protests raged in Washington, D.C., around the White House. Trump held up a Bible while posing for pictures with aides including Attorney General William Barr.

Inside Trump’s Church Visit
Inside Trump's church visit to reassure a fearful public
It was the seventh day of violent protests across America, and criticism was mounting against a president who had not been seen for almost 48 hours. Aides were divided on whether President Trump should address a wounded nation.
It was not until about 4 p.m. Monday, according to senior officials, that the president seized on an idea floated during a day of brainstorming and told a room of his closest advisers, "I think we should do this."
His words set in motion a plan to clear Lafayette Square of protesters so that Trump could walk, just as a curfew fell over Washington, the 100 yards or so to St. John's Episcopal Church, which had been set ablaze the night before by demonstrators.
The result was exactly what aides had hoped for. While CNN and other media outlets fulminated at the use of tear gas to deliver a photo opportunity, White House officials' phones blew up with congratulatory messages from supporters and donors as they shared a dramatic black-and-white image taken by Doug Mills of the New York Times. It showed a stern-faced president striding purposely from the White House.
"I've gotten texts, phone calls - my phone hasn't stopped from people who just said, 'You know, wow, that is what America needed to see today,'" said a senior administration official. "That is leadership."
Eight former and serving White House officials described how Monday's dramatic day unfolded, with aides initially split over whether the president should speak directly to the nation. But inaction was not an option, according to a barrage of text messages and emails arriving from outside allies concerned that the White House had not grasped how the narrative was slipping away.
Hesitation was driven by memories of Trump's Oval Office coronavirus address, which was muddled by missteps on key details. But chief of staff Mark Meadows was among those arguing that the growing wave of protests needed a formal response, according to a source familiar with the discussions. Key election constituencies, such as suburban women, needed reassurance that the president was in charge and had a plan to impose security.
"We all want to show the American people that law and order was of paramount importance to this administration," said the senior official who was present for the president's decision. "And that, you know, you had a president who was leading."
White House press assembled in the Rose Garden minutes before the president was due to speak, even as explosions of tear gas could be heard outside. It made for a dramatic backdrop as Trump demanded that governors take tougher action to quell violence, or he would deploy troops.
"If a city or state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them," he said.
Minutes later, with the clock just ticking past the start of the 7 p.m. curfew, he walked out of the White House to St. John's Episcopal Church, nicknamed the "Church of Presidents." His daughter Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner, press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, and Attorney General William Barr followed him, with the acrid smell of tear gas causing some watching journalists to cough.
The president held a Bible in the air for a photograph, delivering what one official called an "iconic moment showing American greatness."
The moment was pure Trump, said another senior administration official.
"If you know Trump at all, you would know the decision to go to the church was the president's entirely," he said. "Staffers are free to offer ideas and debate each other, but the boss makes the decision. Period."
The result was jubilation among officials who had wanted to deliver a clear narrative of a president in charge.
Meadows told the Washington Examiner: "The president did what he does best: set a vision, acted on it, and started a nation to start believing again."

An Urgent Prophetic Warning
An Urgent Prophetic Warning
From Jeremiah Johnson
On the night of May 30th, while praying and pacing over the United States in my home around 2 am, a demonic entity appeared right before me in an open vision. This type of encounter has only ever happened one other time while I was ministering in a foreign country in 2015. I have always engaged in this type of spiritual warfare while asleep and dreaming prophetically, but rarely if ever to this degree while awake.
This demonic entity had a visible and deep scar underneath its right eye, but it also had the ability to mutate or rather change forms. I watched this "being" morph several times right in front of me, yet the gash below its right eye remained.
It pointed its finger right in my face and said, "I exist to deceive the whole world. Just as there are forerunners in the kingdom of God that go before the Son of Man, so I am a forerunning spirit in the kingdom of darkness that has been sent before the coming of the man of lawlessness."
It continued, "The scar underneath my right eye has come at the hands of the praying Church, for many of them in this hour have begun to detect our true plans and purposes to disrupt systems, divert attention, and release chaos in the land."
At this point in the encounter, the hair on my body was standing straight up as I had never been told anything like this at length by a demonic entity. Suddenly, all I can describe is the authority and mind of Christ came upon me and I pointed my finger back at this demon and demanded, "Who is the source behind your power and influence?"
It began to laugh hysterically, a sound that still taunts me and with great rage this demon answered and roared, "The Media!"
I fixed my gaze upon it and said, "You devil that has come to deceive the whole world through the media and is being exposed right now, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to reveal your agenda!"

LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS
"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
(Deuteronomy 33:27)
Lyrics
What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Refrain
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.
O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Refrain
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Signs and Wonders
Signs and Wonders
Half the matter in the universe was missing. Scientists just found it hiding in the cosmos
In the late 1990s, cosmologists made a prediction about how much ordinary matter there should be in the universe. About 5%, they estimated, should be regular stuff with the rest a mixture of dark matter and dark energy. But when cosmologists counted up everything they could see or measure at the time, they came up short. By a lot.
The sum of all the ordinary matter that cosmologists measured only added up to about half of the 5% what was supposed to be in the universe.
This is known as the "missing baryon problem" and for over 20 years, cosmologists like us looked hard for this matter without success.
t took the discovery of a new celestial phenomenon and entirely new telescope technology, but earlier this year, our team finally found the missing matter.

Coronavirus Becoming Much Less Lethal, Virus is Losing Its 'Potency,' Top Doctor Reveals
The coronavirus has become much less lethal and the virus is losing its "potency," a top Italian doctor has said, Reuters reported.
Dr. Alberto Zangrillo, the head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan - one of the areas in Italy hardest hit by COVID-19 - explained the evolution of the virus is extremely positive.
"In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy," Zangrillo told RAI television, Reuters reported.
"The swabs that were performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load in quantitative terms that was absolutely infinitesimal compared to the ones carried out a month or two months ago," he explained.
Although daily COVID-19 cases continue to rise, daily deaths are steadily decreasing after reaching a peak in mid-April. The increase in positive cases reflects mass testing around the world, not a virus that is rapidly spreading. Italy, specifically, now averages fewer than 100 COVID-19 deaths per day after becoming the global epicenter just two months ago.
The decrease in potency means nations should reopen, Zangrillo said.
In fact, the doctor said there should be accountability for leaders who enacted such harsh lockdowns when the virus never lived up to the scientific predictions.
"We've got to get back to being a normal country," he said, Reuters reported. "Someone has to take responsibility for terrorizing the country."

About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]

[As of this writing, over the past three years, we have now "read through" the entire Word of God sixty-five times, nonstop. Hallelujah!]
Our numbers of readers continues to grow over time. All are welcome to join, as we use "the weapons of OUR warfare" to confront our enemy and BRING HIM DOWN through the LOVE of our Messiah and, by faith, setting captives free!

Please call at any time from midnight to 6:00 a.m. EST! EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN OUR "WARFARE IN THE NIGHT", USING THE WEAPON OF HIS WARFARE - THE WORD OF GOD!
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
> > > A footnote: 2020 has been declared "the Year of the Bible."
Hallelujah!!
Please join us as, together, we "soak the very atmosphere of our nation" in the WORD OF GOD!
