Focus on Israel
1. Netanyahu: 'This is the time for unity - not new elections' - Israel National News
Israel is pursuing peace deals with additional Arab states, following the agreement with the United Arab Emirates earlier this month, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday.
In a press conference Sunday evening, Netanyahu said Israel is working to reach deals normalizing the country's relationship with additional Arab states, and predicted more agreements would be reached in the near future."
"We are in historic times. Our peace treaty with the United Arab Emirates is the beginning of a new of peace in the Middle East," Netanyahu said at the opening of the press conference.
"We are working on other states - peace with other states. In my estimate there will be other states, and in the near future."
2. Likud, Blue and White back compromise to avoid elections - Jerusalem Post
The political crisis that could lead to a fourth election in 19 months being initiated Monday night appeared on its way to being resolved on Saturday night, when both Likud and Blue and White accepted a compromise.
Negotiating teams of the two parties spoke late Saturday night in an effort to reach an agreement in time for Sunday's meeting of the Knesset Finance Committee, which is set to vote on the final readings of Derech Eretz MK Zvi Hauser's bill to postpone the deadline for passing the state budget from Monday to December.
Hauser proposed a compromise on the issue of political appointments, which has been the toughest issue to resolve in the crisis.
According to the compromise, Blue and White would honor the coalition agreement and form an appointments committee that includes Likud representatives, and appointments would be frozen until the committee meets.
3. UAE envoy: With Israel deal done, we'll directly advocate for Palestinian state - Times of Israel
In his second op-ed for an Israeli newspaper, the United Arab Emirates's ambassador to the US said the new normalization agreement with Israel would allow for "direct" advocacy for the Palestinian cause, including the establishment of a sovereign state, now with "stronger" tools.
"As we have for fifty years, we will forcefully advocate for these ends," Yousef Al-Otaiba wrote in the piece for Yedioth Ahronoth. "Now, we will do it directly, face to face and empowered with stronger incentives, policy options and diplomatic tools.
"The UAE will remain an ardent and consistent supporter of the Palestinian people - for their dignity, their rights and their own sovereign state. They must share in the benefits of normalization," he wrote. (Read more)
- Father, we repent that the UAE has made this bold statement, so soon after Israel has made this treaty. Lord God, this is a snake in the grass. We ask that, as other treaties begin to unfold in the Arab Peninsula as a result of the breakthrough with the UAE, that Israel's new friends not turn to enable her enemies. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.
- "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
4. EU Funds Grants to Protect 'Palestinian Identity of East Jerusalem'
- Jewish Press
Newly-released information from the European Commission shows that in 2019, the EU authorized seven grants allocating some 11.8 million euros for projects in Jerusalem for implementation by NGOs, some of which were specifically geared towards the European Union's "urgent need to preserve the Palestinian identity of East Jerusalem."
One of the holiest sites in the Jewish faith is the Temple Mount - the site of the destroyed Holy Temples of Jerusalem - which is also the third holiest site in Islam, home to the Al Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock. This site, and the Western Wall - another of the holiest sites in Judaism, the sole remnant of the Holy Temple, its retaining wall, are both located in "eastern" Jerusalem.
The Israeli government is deeply committed to the maintenance and upkeep of these sites; and yet without doubt, the Palestinian Authority has done what it can to transform them both into political footballs - in particular, the Temple Mount, over which the Arabs have much more to say, since there are two mosques within the compound and since the Israeli government shortly after the 1967 Six Day War made a concession to give the Hashemite King to allow Jordan to have religious control over the site through the Islamic Waqf Council.
5. Israel could lose twice in the US gambit against Iran in the UNSC - Jerusalem Post
The US set off on a risky diplomatic gambit last Thursday, triggering "snapback sanctions" on Iran, a week after losing a UN Security Council vote to renew the 2007 arms embargo on the Islamic Republic.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo cited "incontestable" evidence that Tehran has violated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as the 2015 nuclear deal between world powers and Iran is known. Those include enriching uranium beyond the 3.67% limit listed in the agreement, accumulating a stockpile of over 300 kg. of low-enriched uranium and more heavy water than permitted and restarting enrichment at the Fordow plant. Plus, Iran has blocked International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors from visiting suspected nuclear sites.
The JCPOA agreement allows for sanctions that would be alleviated in accordance with a number of "sunset" clauses to be reinstated if there is "significant non-performance of commitments" by Iran.
6. UAE Agreement Could Usher in a New Golden Age for Israel - Bridges for Peace
Tuesday, 18 August 2020 | In the last year, the Carnegie Institution of Washington reported annual trade between Israel and the Gulf states of more than [US] $1 billion.
A large portion of this sum is due to deals made between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the field of security.
The newly announced bilateral agreement-which shines a light on a previously secret relationship that has known its fair share of ups and downs since the signing of the first Oslo Accords in 1993-will not have any significant impact on the business-security relations between the two countries.
The deep and obvious strategic interest of both countries is rooted in their cooperation against Iran, Hezbollah and other global jihadist organizations such as ISIS.
This shared interest between the two states has helped Israel's defense industries and companies engaged in advanced agriculture to prosper. (Read more)
- Praise the Lord for the economic and security advantages this agreement opens for Israel. Pray that the Lord will direct the progress of the relationship and any ensuing treaties with other Arab states for the long-term well-being of the nation of Israel.
- "Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men!" (Psalm 31:19)

9. BREAKING! Pompeo, Kushner to visit Israel and Arab states as US pushes more peace deals - Times of Israel
The Trump administration will send two top officials to the Middle East this week in a bid to capitalize on momentum from the historic agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to establish diplomatic relations.
Three diplomats say US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US President Donald Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner plan to make separate, multiple-nation visits to the region in the coming days to push Arab-Israeli rapprochement in the aftermath of the Israel-UAE deal.
Pompeo is expected to depart on Sunday for Israel, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Sudan, according to the diplomats, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the itinerary has not yet been finalized or publicly announced.
Kushner plans to leave later in the week for Israel, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Morocco, the diplomats said.
Kushner will be accompanied by Avi Berkowitz, Trump's peace envoy, the Walla news site reported. National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and Brian Hook, the US pointman on Iran, are also expected to join the trip. (Read more)

1. Trump announces emergency authorization of 'breakthrough' coronavirus treatment - Fox News
President Trump on Sunday granted an emergency authorization for the usage of convalescent plasma to treat coronavirus patients, dubbing it a "major breakthrough."
Speaking to reporters from the White House Sunday, Trump said the FDA has "issued an emergency use authorization. for a treatment known as convalescent plasma."
"This is a powerful therapy that transfuses very very strong antibodies from the blood of recovered patients to help treat patients battling a current infection," Trump said, adding that the authorization will "expand access to this treatment."
"Based on the science and the data, the FDA has made the independent determination that the treatment is safe and very effective," Trump said, before urging all recovered COVID-19 patients in the USA to donate their blood plasma.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany announced Trump's press conference in a Saturday-night tweet, writing it involved "a major therapeutic breakthrough on the China virus."
Trump's announcement Sunday follows White House officials suggesting last week that there were politically motivated delays by the Food and Drug Administration in approving a vaccine and therapeutics for the coronavirus. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank You for this announcement of a breakthrough in treating the China virus. We ask now that many, who have survived this disease, would indeed heed the urging of President Trump and step forward to donate their own plasma so that this treatment can now be produced. Thank you, Lord, in Your Name, amen.
- "Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power . . . " (Psalm 110:3 NASB)
2. Kellyanne Conway to leave White House at end of month - The Hill
White House counselor Kellyanne Conway will depart her position in the Trump administration at the end of the month to focus on family matters, she said in a statement late Sunday.
"This is completely my choice and my voice," Conway said. "In time, I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama."
Conway has been a close adviser to the president dating back to the 2016 campaign. She was the first woman to mange a victorious presidential campaign after she took the reins late in the 2016 cycle, and she has served in her White House role since the beginning of the administration.
Conway called her time in the White House "heady" and "humbling." She thanked Trump, first lady Melania Trump, Vice President Pence and second lady Karen Pence, and offered praise for their work during the administration's first term. (Read more)
- Lord God, we do thank You for Kellyanne Conway, and we wish her Godspeed as she returns home to care for her children. Bless her, O Lord we pray, amen.
- "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)
3. House passes $25 billion Postal Service bailout that would block reforms - Washington Examiner
The House passed a $25 billion bailout of the financially troubled United States Postal Service that would block reforms or changes to service.
About two dozen Republicans voted in favor of the legislation despite both the GOP leadership and President Trump urging party lawmakers to oppose it. Dozens voted by proxy rather than attending the unusual August Saturday session in person.
Republicans called the measure "political theater" and argued that the USPS has suffered from chronic financial problems for many years and is in need of reform, not more money. (Read more)
- Father, we speak peace to the halls of Congress as this whirlwind has been present for many days now. We thank You for the U.S. Postal Service, and we ask that these funds be utilized according to Your perfect will. In Your name, amen.
- "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)
4. Trump holds private memorial service for his brother, Robert Trump, at White House - Fox News
President Trump and his family celebrated the life of his brother, Robert Trump, during a private service at the White House on Friday afternoon.
The president and first lady were seen walking down the North Portico steps after Robert Trump's casket and watched as he was placed in the hearse and driven away.
"Robert, I Love You. Rest In Peace!" the president tweeted Friday.
With bagpipes playing, the president and first lady Melania Trump followed his brother's casket to a waiting hearse in the late afternoon. They stood at attention and held hands for a couple of moments as the casket was placed inside. A few dozen family and friends stood nearby on the White House steps. As the hearse drove away, the president and first lady returned to the residence and some in the group embraced. (Read more)
- Heavenly Father, we pray You comfort President Trump and Melania as they mourn the passing of his brother, Robert Trump. Strengthen them and the family with Your presence, Lord, as You give them peace in their hearts. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold." (Proverbs 22:1)
5. Tropical Storm Marco now a hurricane, sparks warning of 'life-threatening' storm surge' - Fox News
Tropical Storm Marco, which is making its way toward Louisiana, has become a hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Life-threatening storm surge and hurricane-force winds are expected along portions of the U.S. Gulf Coast, the National Hurricane Center warned, in a statement.
Marco is expected to make landfall in southeastern Louisiana or Mississippi Monday, sometime from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.
Tropical Storm Laura is also projected to hit the Gulf Coast, possibly as a hurricane, later this week. Laura is expected to make landfall about 36 to 48 hours after Marco in the same general area. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank You that when we pray, You hear and You answer. Lord God, first we ask that You move to keep these two storm systems separated from each other; and we then ask that You would yet move to keep both storms out to sea. Amen.
- "I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34:4)
6. ALERT: Occupy Movement Recruiting Enlistees For 'Siege' Of The White House - Rightwingtribune
. . . So who are the anarchist-Marxists that are a part of this revolution?
Nick Arama, who has been following the Occupy movement since its inception writes that with each new iteration of the "leftist movement" the same general core of anarchist-leftists move from one movement to the next.
" . . . if you check many BLM folks, many of them were also involved in Occupy."
Anarchists, Marxists, arsonists, and those intent on property destruction, moving interchangeably between movements suggests what we've suspected for some time . . . duplicity is necessary to create the impression that their movements are more diverse than they actually are.
Remember . . . there are more of us than there are of them. (Read more)
- Father God, we thank You that we can know ahead what is being planned to take place here in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, September 17th. We thank You for the many who are now "preparing the way" ahead of them, by agreeing with us in daily prayers to "lay siege against the siege."
Help us, O Lord, to know Your ways in confronting these enemies: ways of love, mercy and forgiveness. Rise up, O Lord, and scatter these enemies we pray, amen.
- "Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered, And let those who hate Him flee before Him." (Psalm 68:1)
7. March on Washington reconfigured to comply with virus rules - WTOP News/Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Amid widespread protests and unrest over the police killings of Black Americans, a national commemoration of the 1963 civil rights March on Washington is being reconfigured to comply with coronavirus protocols in the District of Columbia. Although many marchers will arrive via charter buses from surrounding communities on Aug. 28, the Rev. Al Sharpton, one of the organizers, will ask some to join satellite marches planned in states that are considered hot spots for COVID-19.
"We're following protocol," Sharpton told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview. "The objective is not how many thousands of people will be (in Washington). It'll still be a good crowd."
The commemoration, taking place on the 57th anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech, will begin with a rally at the Lincoln Memorial. Martin Luther King III, a son of the late civil rights icon, attorney Benjamin Crump and the families of George Floyd, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, are expected to participate in Washington.
Following the commemorative rally, participants in Washington will march to the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial in West Potomac Park, next to the National Mall, and then disperse. All participants will be required to wear masks, Sharpton said. Organizers also will provide hand sanitizing stations and conduct temperature checks throughout the event. "The objective is to put on one platform, in the shadow of Abe Lincoln, the families of people that . . . have lost loved ones in unchecked racial bias," Sharpton said. "On these steps, Dr. King talked about his dream, and the dream is unfulfilled. This is the Exhibit A of that not being fulfilled." (Read more)
- Father God, we thank You that we can also know ahead what is now being planned to take place here in Washington, D.C. this Friday. We ask that You enter into this situation, and quell the violence that may erupt. We see, too, that similar marches will be planned the same day in other cities across the nation, so we extend this prayer over those cities, too.
We ask you to FORGIVE those who will use this anniversary as a reason to stir up the flames of racism and hatred that Dr. King sought to quench. We pray for Your GRACE and your SHALOM to instead fill the streets of Washington, D.C. on Friday, August 28. In Your Name we offer this prayer, amen.
- "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
8. A.G. Barr on 'Public Education:' 'That's a Racist System Maintained by the Democratic Party and the Teachers Union' - CNSNews.com
If you want to find "systemic racism" in America, then look no further than the public schooling system, which is "maintained by the Democratic Party and the teachers' unions," said Attorney General William P. Barr. The entire system keeps "inner-city kids in failing schools," he added.
"And people talk about implicit racism or systemic racism," said Barr during an Aug. 13 interview on Hannity. "The racism in this country, look no further than our public education system. That's a racist system, maintained by the Democratic Party and the teachers union," he said, "keeping inner-city kids in failing schools, instead of putting the resources in the hands of the parents to choose the schools to send their kids to."
"That's empowering kids," said Barr. "That's giving them a future."
Barr discussed the consequences of the demonization of police for residents of the inner city, [relevant remarks begin around 6:00], which Barr said will lead to lives being destroyed, opportunity being decreased, and schools being "overrun by gangs. That's not caring about black lives." He then added, "And people talk about implicit racism or systemic racism. The racism in this country, look no further than our public education system. That's a racist system, maintained by the Democratic Party and the teachers union, keeping inner-city kids in failing schools, instead of putting the resources in the hands of the parents to choose the schools to send their kids to. That's empowering kids. That's giving them a future." (Read more)
- Almighty God, we lift this tremendously evil dogmatic control the Democratic Party has over all public education. We call upon You to stretch forth Your hand and destroy this public education system. Turn it to sawdust, Father in heaven. We speak resurrection life over every school. Lord God, replace all employees with godly people who will teach new, godly, quality material to every school student. Take our schools out of the hands of the enemy and his emissaries. We pray in the Name of Jesus.
- "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hears us, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (I John 5:14-15)
9. Trump to visit North Carolina on Monday as GOP convention begins - The Hill
President Trump will visit North Carolina on Monday as official Republican National Convention business gets underway in Charlotte, touring a site packaging food boxes for families as part of the administration's response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump will be formally nominated on Monday as 336 delegates - six from each state and territory - gather in Charlotte for the GOP proceedings. The official business has been scaled down due to the coronavirus, but it will be livestreamed.
The Republican National Convention events will stretch over four days next week, culminating in Trump's formal acceptance speech on Thursday evening, which he plans to deliver from the White House grounds. Multiple Republican leaders and noteworthy speakers are slated to deliver remarks to the convention, which will be mostly virtual to avoid large crowds. Vice President Pence plans to address the convention from Fort McHenry in Baltimore on Wednesday to accept the vice presidential nomination. (Read more)
- Father God, we pray for President Trump as he visits North Carolina and to be formally nominated to serve a second term as President of the United States of America. Lord, be over the 336 delegates that they do Your will in all things. We pray You assign holy angels to be over all events for the four days, bringing protection. Lord, we ask, too, that You be with Vice President Pence as You guide him in all that he does. We pray in the Name of Jesus, amen.
- "Arise, and go to North Carolina; and there it shall be told you of all things which are appointed for you to do." (Acts 22:10)
10. Trump: 'When Joe Biden sees American darkness, I see American greatness' - Washington Examiner
President Trump condemned Joe Biden's convention speech for its gloomy, unsparing assessment of the challenges facing the country, rejecting his Democratic opponent's vision of "American darkness" for what he said was "American greatness." After ceding the national spotlight to Democrats for the past four days, Trump delivered his response during a speech to the conservative Council for National Policy in Arlington, Virginia.
He accused Democrats of failing to address the law and order problems facing America, omitting any mention of the threat from China and of holding the "darkest and angriest and gloomiest" convention in history. "They spent four straight days attacking America as racist and a horrible country that must be redeemed," he said. "Joe Biden grimly declared a season of American darkness, and yet look at what we've accomplished until the plague came in."
. ,. . in a possible taste of his forthcoming convention speech, he tried to offer a more positive message, outlining his administration's achievements as he criticized the Democrats' dark view. "They want to punish America and its citizens instead of holding them high," he said. "When Joe Biden sees American darkness, I see American greatness."
And he said that the most important parts of Biden's Thursday night speech were its omissions. "He didn't talk about law enforcement," he said. "He didn't talk about bringing safety to Democrat-run cities that are totally out of control. China was never mentioned in any way shape or form, adding that Beijing would own the U.S. if Biden were elected." (Read more)
- Almighty God, we are so thankful to see the evidence of Your hand being on President Trump in such a dramatic way. May he rise up in victory and great strength to win this upcoming election. We ask that all the statements Joe Biden made regarding "American darkness, etc." be covered by the Blood of Jesus and wiped clean. Rise up against the Democrats and all their agenda and crush their plans under Your feet, Lord. We pray in Jesus' Name.
- "Having your conversation honest among the people: that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation." (I Peter 2:12)
11. Fires, Blackouts, a Heat Wave and a Pandemic: California's 'Horrible' Month - YahooNews.com
On Wednesday millions of California residents were smothered by smoke-filled skies as dozens of wildfires raged out of control. They braced for triple-digit temperatures, the sixth day of a punishing heat wave that included a recent reading of 130 degrees in Death Valley. They braced for possible power outages because the state's grid is overloaded, the latest sign of an energy crisis. And they continued to fight a virus that is killing 130 Californians a day.
Even for a state accustomed to disaster, August has been a terrible month.
Across the state there were 23 major fires reported on Wednesday and more than 300 smaller ones. In the San Francisco Bay Area alone there were 15 wildfires, most of them burning out of control and feeding off the grasses and shrubs desiccated by the extreme heat. Thousands of residents were ordered evacuated in the wine country of Napa County and from the hills above Silicon Valley in Santa Cruz and San Mateo counties.
In Southern California, fires were reported in Ventura and Riverside counties - and sweeping through one of the world's biggest collections of Joshua trees, burning a 43,000-acre stretch of the Mojave National Preserve. Images of the fire showed the iconic trees shooting flames into the air like blowtorches.
The evening breezes that many Californians rely on to chase the heat from their homes had vanished. And for those with air-conditioning, the power outages were a constant threat to that remedy. (Read more)
- Father God, Your Word clearly identifies the reason California is falling into adverse daily trials and tribulations. Many have forsaken the restraints of God's Word for their own godless, liberal agendas. We pray for hearts to be turned to the Lord, repent of sin, and be saved.
Father, for the many in the State of California who have stood in repentance, serving You, we ask that Your Hand of mercy and of sustaining grace would be with each one. Help them to not lose heart, O Lord, nor to become weary in well-doing. In the Name of Jesus we pray.
- "The Lord will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayers." (Psalm 102:17)

THE VICTORIOUS ARMY
"No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." (2 Timothy 2:4)
Lyrics
Why are you marching along to war?
Soldiers true, who are you?
What is the cause you are fighting for?
Why are you never sad?
O we are only rank and file,
Treading the path for many a mile;
Still every face must bear a smile,
For Jesus has made us glad.
Refrain
We've enlisted in the cause victorious
Of the everlasting Lord;
We are marching in the ranks all glorious,
Resplendent with the shield and sword.
Christ is our captain, Christ our might,
So we fight, seeking right;
Christ is leading us to light
In the all victorious army.
Who are the foes that you fight withal,
Ye who stand, sword in hand?
Do you not fear in the strife to fall,
Struck by a deadly blow?
Strong are the foes that bar our way,
Many the sins we have to slay;
Still we shall rise and win the day,
Tho' oft in the dust laid low.
Refrain
What is the secret of your great power,
Soldiers bright, full of might?
Why are you fearless in danger's hour,
Strong with the foe to cope?
Jesus it is that makes us strong,
Trusting in Him we march along;
He ever fills our hearts with song,
Our eyes with the light of hope.
Refrain
Where is the home you are marching to,
Hearts of youth, hearts of truth?
Is there a kingdom beyond the blue,
Where you may rest from strife?
Jesus has said that we shall stand,
Victors of faith at His right hand,
Crowned in the light of God's own land
With joy and eternal life.
Refrain

How NASA is dealing with the 'dent' in Earth's magnetic field
Earth is an enormous magnet, its iron-rich core creating a shield of magnetic field that envelopes the planet -- well, almost. A "dent" in this magnetic field known as the South Atlantic Anomaly allows charged particles from the sun to dip closer to the planet in an area over South America and the Southern Atlantic Ocean.
These particles, at the very least, can mess with instruments up in space. So NASA scientists and other researchers have no choice but to adapt to this hiccup in the magnetic field, switching off satellite instruments that pass through the SAA and accepting the loss of some data on instruments aboard the International Space Station (ISS). They're also keeping close tabs on the SAA, according to a new article from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.
Even though the SAA is slow-moving, it is going through some change in morphology, so it's also important that we keep observing it," Terry Sabaka, a geophysicist at Goddard in Maryland, said in the piece.
The anomaly
Earth's magnetic field is the product of its iron-rich outer core, which creates the field as it swirls around the inner core. The field protects Earth's atmosphere from being slowly stripped away by charged particles from the sun. It also protects electronic equipment on Earth from this same bombardment.
The magnetic field is weakening, making some scientists think it might be about to reverse, swapping its north and south poles. (Alternatively, it might go through a weak phase and then strengthen again, as has happened in the past.) Ground zero for this weakening seems to be the South Atlantic Anomaly, an odd spot of particular weakness that stretches between South America and Africa. The zone is changing, with recent research suggesting that it is developing not one, but two, separate low points.

Women-the 'Heart of America'-Are Joining Together to Save the Country They Love
We need to save America's children. We need to save America's values, we need to save America's principles and we need to save America's Constitution. Together, we can take back our country." -Christie Hutcherson, Founder of Women Fighting For America
[Women Fighting For America] Amid the current chaos in America, a newly-formed organization has emerged, declaring that "American women are a brave force to be reckoned with."
According to their website, "Women Fighting For America (WFFA)" was founded as a way for women who feel they are being called to get involved, to "rise up to protect our families, our children, our safety, our freedoms, our financial security, for both now and for future generations ... we are rising up as ONE VOICE of a multitude of women that will make a difference!"
Speaking about the great need for this group, founder, Christie Hutcherson, explains, "There's a lot at risk right now. And we are at a pivotal point in history. And if we do not rise up, as women; fierce, bold, strong, to say, 'We're not going to allow this disease to spread across our country anymore,' [then] I'm fearful for my children, and my children's children. What are we leaving behind ... what legacy? Women, we're the heart of the home-the heart of the family. We're the heart of America, and I think that we can get our point across, firmly, boldly-but also do it with a loving, velvet fist."

[Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
