Pence Outs Harris

Pence Outs Harris as Incompetent Liar!

Mario Murillo Ministries

It was not supposed to happen: Kamala Harris outed as an incompetent liar.

The last debate where Trump faced both Wallace and Biden went according to script: The Left manipulated, cheated and ambushed Trump, who deftly channeled Chuck Norris in defeating multiple opponents-including electronic devices-and won a victory that will grow in significance in years to come.

But tonight, something weird happened. I don't know, maybe the earpiece guy left his equipment at home. Maybe Biden campaign operatives were sent to the wrong venue. Perhaps the moderator, Susan Page, the Washington bureau chief for USA Today and a longtime member of the DC press, felt guilty about Chris Wallace's shameful prejudice. But for some reason, Susan decided to be fair.

It must have been fair, because Politico had this to say about Susan Page: "She also drew criticism for her deference to Pence in particular, as he frequently interjected during Harris' answers." Get it? Being fair is deference to any Republican candidate.

So, what was the result of a fair debate? Kamala Harris was outed as an incompetent liar. First the "incompetence."

Here's how actor James Woods described her performance: "I am astonished how badly she has done in this debate. She simply cannot answer a question, without reverting to a stump speech, pushing a narrative that is basically fantasy on every issue."

Here's an example of an exchange between Pence and Harris:

Pence said China is "to blame" for the coronavirus, and, "President Trump is not happy about it." Pence went on, "China and the World Health Organization did not play straight with the American people. They did not let our personnel into China . . . until the middle of February." Adding, "But China has been taking advantage of the United States for decades, in the wake of Biden cheerleading for China. President Trump has stood up to China. We want to improve the relationship, but we're going to hold China accountable for what they did to Americans with the coronavirus."

Meanwhile, Sen. Kamala Harris, (D) Calif., slammed the Trump administration over the trade war with China, claiming that the U.S. lost jobs in the midst of it.

But Pence fired back.

"Lost the trade war with China? Joe Biden never fought it," Mic drop.

Then there were Harris' facial expressions that in some cases made her look smug, and in other instances, came off as panic. Ben Shapiro said "Harris looks deeply uncomfortable. She should be. She's losing, and losing badly."

Then came the lie. Harris says no way did Biden say he would end fracking or abandon fossil fuels. Roll the tape:

Pence blasted Harris for refusing to say whether she would support expanding the Supreme Court in order to allow a Democratic President to nominate more liberal justices to the bench. When Pence repeatedly demanded that Harris respond to that, she answered the question by shifting attention to Senate Republicans' efforts to fast-track Barrett's confirmation, despite 2020 being an election year.

Then came the Kaboom: Pence replied, "Once again you gave a non-answer, Joe Biden gave a non-answer. The American people deserve a straight answer. And," he said, addressing the American people, "if you haven't figured it out yet, the straight answer is they are going to pack the Supreme Court if they somehow win this election."

If you wish to see for yourself how Pence exposed her dismal failure in California in finding justice for minorities, go to this link.

A fair debate? Open dialogue? Facts? It was almost like an act of God the way Pence was allowed to actually debate.

Now we move on to the election, and to the Trump victory that, also, is not supposed to happen. Amen!

PRAYER REQUEST:

Is. 28:15, 17 -- When the overwhelming scourge passes over, it will not reach us. God says, I will make justice the measuring line, your covenant with dead will be annulled. Father, we don't have malice for anyone in our hearts. Enough is enough to be totally, continually lying to the public. Open the eyes of those who have been blinded, knowingly, unknowingly . . . for salvation, according to Romans 12:1-2, renew their minds and word of Lord becomes a golden seed in their heart and takes root.

2. Israeli Educators Fear Distance Learning Will Lead to 'Lost Generation' - Algemeiner

JNS.org - Those Israeli parents who are still working face a near-mission impossible when it comes to making sure their children are keeping up with their schoolwork.

According to Joint Chairman of the Parents Leadership in Ra'anana Odelia Shindorf, herself a mother of two, "This is a lost school year."

Remote learning, said Shindorf, "is causing despair. It's not effective. But the main issue is loneliness. Parents are reporting tough feelings. We hear that from every home where there are high schoolers."

While the numbers prove high schools are COVID-19 hot spots, "The reports forget to take into account the long-term damage, the kids' emotional difficulties, the lack of effective teaching, the sense of despair, and the system's lack of preparedness," said Shindorf.

3. Israeli government extends lockdown 1 week amid signs it's working - World Israel News

The government announced Wednesday it extended Israel's national coronavirus lockdown by a week, keeping restrictions in place that appear to be slowing the infection rate.

Under the restrictions, schools and non-essential businesses are to remain closed and Israelis cannot travel more than one kilometer from their homes except for food and medical care, or if they are employed in essential services. 4. Shaked: We need elections after 2nd virus wave, Bennett would be 'excellent' PM - Times of Israel

A day after her right-wing opposition party saw a massive bump in its polling numbers, Yamina's Ayelet Shaked called Wednesday for elections to be held after Israel overcomes the current wave of coronavirus infections, touting party chair Naftali Bennett as a replacement for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"After this wave of illness, we have to go to the polls within two or three months," Shaked told Channel 12 in an interview.

Placing tacit blame for the ongoing nationwide lockdown on the government, she said that elections would save the country more money than they cost by preventing further failure.

2. Top Trump aide Stephen Miller tests positive for COVID - The Daily Mail

Stephen Miller, a senior policy adviser to President Donald Trump, has tested positive for coronavirus, an administration official says. Miller, 35, tested positive for the virus on Tuesday after working remotely for the prior five days and testing negative every day through yesterday, according to NBC News reporter Hallie Jackson.

Miller is currently in quarantine. His wife, Katie Miller, tested positive for COVID-19 in May, but returned to work as Vice President Mike Pence's top spokeswoman after fully recovering from the infection at the time. Katie Miller, who is currently pregnant, has been a key figure in Pence's preparations for Wednesday's vice presidential debate with Senator Kamala Harris in Salt Lake City.

She is currently in Utah with the vice president's traveling party, an administration official told DailyMail.com. (Read more)

3. Trump loses tax return subpoena appeal, but his lawyer will ask Supreme Court to stay ruling - CNBC

A federal appeals court in Manhattan on Wednesday rejected President Donald Trump's effort to block enforcement of a grand jury subpoena that demands years of his income tax returns from his accountants.

But the appeals court suspended enforcement of that subpoena by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., giving Trump time to ask the Supreme Court, for a second time, to step into the case and block the subpoena permanently.

Trump's lawyer Jay Sekulow later said Wednesday morning that he will ask the Supreme Court to stay the unanimous decision against the president by the three-judge panel on U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. This is the second time that the same appeals court has rejected Trump's request to deny Vance access to tax returns dating back to 2011 by upholding a lower Manhattan federal court ruling. (Read more)

- Almighty God and Father of us all, we pray You will go to President Trump's aid and block the enforcement of this grand jury subpoena. We ask You to give Mr. Sekulow divine guidance and protection to stay the unanimous decision against President Trump. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

"Behold the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy that it cannot hear." (Isaiah 59:1)

5. Netflix indicted by Texas grand jury over 'lewd' depiction of children in 'Cuties' drama - The Hill

Netflix is facing criminal charges for its film "Cuties" in an East Texas county.

A Texas grand jury indicted Netflix for the "lewd" representation of children in the controversial French film, according to the Tyler County District Attorney.

The Sept. 23 indictment shows the Tyler County Grand Jury charged the popular streaming site for "promotion of lewd visual material depicting child" for its drama about a young girl who is torn between her conservative Muslim family's values and her desire to join a dance troupe.

Among the charges in question is Netflix's alleged promotion of material that portrays the "exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of a clothed or partially clothed child, which appeals to the prurient interest in sex and has no serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value" - a violation of the Texas penal code, according to the press release from Tyler County District Attorney Lucas Babin. (Read more)

- Almighty God, we pray that You will persecute Netflix for promoting child pornography in this "Cuties" drama. Father God, stand against them in righteousness and slay their wickedness, according to Your Word. In the Name of Jesus we pray, amen.

6. Biden Pledges to Make Roe v. Wade 'the Law of the Land' if Supreme Court Acts - Christian Headlines.com

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden pledged Monday to make Roe v. Wade "the law of the land" through legislation if the Supreme Court overturns the 1973 decision, a move that could ensure abortion remains legal even if the high court gets involved.

Speaking at an NBC News town hall, Biden was asked about his "plans to protect women's reproductive rights in the U.S." in light of the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court.

"We don't know exactly what she will do, although the expectation is that she may very well move to overrule Roe," Biden answered. "The only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making Roe the law of the land. That's what I would do."

Biden had previously said he would move to "codify Roe" in such an instance, although Monday's answer occurred in a more high-profile setting, less than one month before the election.

A tweet from his campaign read, "Roe v. Wade must remain the law of the land."(Read more)

- Father God, we cast down these words of evil and we call forth righteousness to rule in our government. In Your name, amen.

"For there will be no future for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out."(Proverbs 24:20)

7. Joint Chiefs of Staff to quarantine after senior officer tests positive for COVID - USA Today

Most of the nation's top military leaders are quarantining after coming in contact with a senior officer with COVID-19, according to the Pentagon.

The military's top two officers, Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Air Force Gen. John Hyten, along with service chiefs from the Army, Navy and Air Force are in quarantine after meeting with the officer last week, according to a senior Defense official who was not authorized to speak publicly. Gen. David Berger, the Marine Corps commandant, was not at the meeting. The officer who tested positive for the disease is Adm. Charles Ray, the No. 2 officer at the Coast Guard.

None of the officers in quarantine have tested positive or shown symptoms of the disease, according to the official.

"The chain of command is so strong," said Former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. "You never want to lose a chief. But if we did we are prepared. There's always somebody right behind them to step in." (Read more)

- Father, we thank You that the top officials in our military' are now taking wise precautions since being tested positive for COVID-19. We ask that You grant them the use of effective strategies, in lieu of meeting directly with each other, so that the work of the Pentagon will go forward unhindered, and our national security be maintained. In Your Name we pray, amen.

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 12:5)

8. Michelle Obama makes 'closing argument' for Biden- USA Today

Former first lady Michelle Obama provided a "closing argument" Tuesday for why voters should support Democratic nominee Joe Biden against President Donald Trump.

"I hope you'll vote for Joe with power, with passion, and with a love of this country that cannot possibly be denied," Obama said in a video message.

Biden served eight years as vice president to President Barack Obama, who has helped the campaign with conversational videos and fundraising appearances. But Michelle Obama is also a huge draw, as seen with her recorded statement during the Democratic convention in August.

Michelle Obama said recent days might have seemed like a whirlwind with Trump's hospitalization for COVID-19. She echoed Biden's comments about Trump's infection serving as a reminder that the virus is a serious threat from the White House to homes across the country.

"The truth is, the events of the past few days are a bracing reminder of the tragedy that has been this administration's response to this crisis," Michelle Obama said. "Because the fact is that the drama of the past few days has only emphasized what's at stake in this election - from the coronavirus to a constant drumbeat of fear, division, and chaos that's threatening to spiral out of control." (Read more)

- Father God, we cast down this spirit of Jezebel in the name of Jesus. We ask You, by Your grace, to forgive Michelle Obama for her evil ways. We ask that You remove the blinders from her eyes, that she behold Your Glory, repent, and come to You on bended knee. In Your name, amen.

So a second time they called for the man who had been blind and said, "Give glory to God! We know that this man is a sinner." He answered, "Whether He is a sinner I do not know. There is one thing I do know: I was blind, but now I see!"
(John 9:24,25)

9. US, Australia, India, Japan to discuss China's growing power - Yahoo News

Foreign ministers from four Indo-Pacific nations known as the Quad group are gathering in Tokyo on Tuesday for talks that Japan hopes will increase their involvement in a regional initiative called "Free and Open Indo-Pacific" aimed at countering China's growing assertiveness.

The meeting - the first in-person talks among the foreign ministers since the coronavirus pandemic broke out - brings together U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne, Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi. On his way to Tokyo, Pompeo told reporters that the four countries hope to have some "significant achievements" at the meeting, but did not elaborate. (Read more)

- Father God, we ask that Your perfect will be done during these strategic meetings. May many, God-ordained agreements be reached this week among all nations that are involved. In Your name, amen.

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

10. Delta remains major hurricane, will be very dangerous storm as it charges Gulf Coast - Accuweather.com

The storm-weary Gulf Coast, an area still reeling from back-to-back blows from devastating Hurricane Laura and more recently Sally, is bracing for yet another strike, this time a potentially disastrous one from Hurricane Delta. The formidable hurricane crashed onshore in Mexico early Wednesday morning, cutting power and causing damage along its path, but losing wind intensity as it moved over land. Forecasters warned that the hurricane is expected to regain strength and return to major hurricane status as it emerges over the warm waters of the southern Gulf of Mexico and begins barreling toward the U.S. coast.

Delta weakened overnight as it tracked closer to the northeastern part of the Yucatan Peninsula, eventually making landfall in Mexico around 5:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday near the town of Puerto Morelos, south of Cancun along the Riviera Maya. At the time of landfall, Delta was a strong Category 2 storm with maximum sustained winds of 110 mph, just 1 mph below major hurricane strength.

Maximum sustained winds had weakened to 85 mph by 4:00 p.m. CDT Wednesday as the storm raced northwestward at 17 mph after emerging over the southern Gulf of Mexico, causing it to be downgraded to a Category 1 storm. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) said that an Air Force hurricane hunter was investigating the system on Wednesday afternoon. (Read more)

- Father God, once again we pray that Your hand would rest upon all who are now in the path of this approaching storm. We ask, too, the Your wisdom would guide those who will need to evacuate ahead of this storm. We ask that this system will continue to decrease in strength, and move quickly over land, dissipating along the way. In Jesus' name, amen.

"And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm." (Mark 4:39)

Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden

PRO-LIFE EVANGELICALS FOR BIDEN - JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES

"Prominent evangelical leaders have just released a statement urging pro-life evangelicals to vote for Joe Biden. The signers include John Huffman, board chair emeritus of Christianity Today; Richard Foster, best-selling author of Celebration of Discipline; Jerushah Duford, Billy Graham's granddaughter; Brenda Salter McNeil, author, speaker and long-time InterVarsity Christian Fellowship leader; John Perkins, founder of the Christian Community Development Association; the two authors of this piece; and a number of former presidents of evangelical universities." So wrote Ronald Sider . . .

It is only because so much is at stake-and because I take this as such a blatant deception of the enemy-that I speak out against this stance taken by my fellow ministers.

This is not an exposé on false doctrine, but it certainly qualifies as such. The Apostle Paul would excoriate their theology. No, this is something much more basic. These leaders epitomize the scripture: "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools" (Romans 1:22). This is a case of Christian leaders becoming so open minded their brains fell out. Judge for yourselves what they went on to say:

"As pro-life evangelicals, we disagree with Vice President Biden and the Democratic platform on the issue of abortion." "But we believe," the statement continues, "that a biblically shaped commitment to the sanctity of human life compels us to a consistent ethic of life that affirms the sanctity of human life from beginning to end. Poverty, lack of health care, racism and climate change all kill persons created in the image of God. They are all pro-life issues." . . .

If you get what they said, then you can see that their gray-matter has left the building. Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are the last people in our solar system who should be trusted with caring for people after they are born.

Democrat Party policies have created modern plantations. These plantations do not grow crops-they grow votes. They have harvested minority votes for decades and have given their subjects nothing but misery in return. Addiction, violence, and despair are the legacy of the party that these evangelicals support.

If these theologians who are swooning over the compassion of the Left want to destroy racism, then let them pull it out by the roots. The definition of racism is lying to a populace year after year as you misappropriate the money you raised in their name. Racism is distracting people from advancing by constantly reminding them they are victims.

Racism is perpetuating the myth of White Supremacy in a nation that elected a black man President, not once, but twice. Why would any thinking person-let alone a moral person-vote to continue this racist machine?  Can any Christian look at the spectacular failure of Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore and St. Louis and vote to promote and perpetuate this organized evil?

Christians should be on the side of opportunity, not blind government dependency. Jesus said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you." These evangelicals are reversing that statement to read, "seek all these things and the Kingdom of God will be added unto you."

Their guilt-inducing misapplication of faith does not work with me. I am from the inner city. I was raised in the leftist plantation. I got the free government cheese, the red Kool-Aid, and the mandate to vote Democrat. . . .

Have you ever wondered why Jesus didn't just keep multiplying the loaves and fishes until hunger was wiped out in Israel? He did not do that because He was trying to teach dependency on God, not handouts. It's the same reason the manna stopped when the children of Israel entered the Promised Land.

Jesus wanted the poor to see God the Father as their source. He wanted them to see why the birds are fed and the flowers are clothed. When anyone walks in dependence on the Lord-it not only protects them from government dependency-it drives them to excel, to trust and to believe that hard work, righteously pursued, leads to freedom and self-respect. . . .

Trump is building an economy that is color blind and open to replacing a food stamp with a paycheck. How can anyone, and especially Christian leaders, prefer the black hole of Democrat socialism, instead?

. . . Jesus called the leaders of His day, "Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!" (Matthew 23:24). These leaders are blind guides who strain at the gnat of Trump's temperament and swallow the camel of Planned Parenthood which has murdered over 59,902,500 babies since 1973. . .

Opportunities to Pray with the Campaigns

Are you aware of the opportunities for evangelicals to pray for and interact with the presidential campaigns? Both campaigns have coalitions directed toward evangelicals. The two campaigns define "evangelical" in very different ways. Because of our nonprofit status, we are unable to tell you which definition we most agree with. So we are providing information about both campaigns for you.

A Classic Hymn

Classic Hymn

BE THOU MY VISION

"Hear now My words:
If there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream."
 (Numbers 12:6)

Lyrics

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle shield, sword for the fight; Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight; Thou my soul's shelter, Thou my high tower: Raise Thou me heavenward, O power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise, Thou mine inheritance, now and always: Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of Heaven, my treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won, May I reach Heaven's joys, O bright Heaven's sun! Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, Still be my vision, O ruler of all.

Signs and Wonders

Signs and Wonders

Mars is closer to Earth in October than it will be for another 15 years

If you spied a fiery red star close to the full moon over the weekend, it was actually Mars shining its bright red light in the night sky.
The planet will be visible at night throughout October, rising the highest in the sky around midnight each evening. It will shine in the east each evening and in the west before dawn. But Mars doesn't always make an appearance like this. So, why is Mars shining so brightly?

The red planet makes its closest approach to Earth at 10:18 am ET on October 6. Mars will be 38,586,816 miles away from Earth --- yes, that's close for Mars -- and it won't be this close again until 2035. Mars in 2003 made its closest approach to Earth in 60,000 years, coming within a distance of 34.65 million miles.

Next week, Earth will swing between Mars and the sun. This event, called Mars' opposition, occurs on October 13, when it will be directly on the opposite side of Earth from the sun, according to NASA.

Good News Corner

The Good News Corner:

Georgia pastor shocks pregnant Waffle House waitress with $12G tip after learning special detail about baby

A Georgia pastor recently gave a Waffle House waitress the surprise of a lifetime after raising a $12,000 tip for the pregnant server, after learning that the woman's unborn child will have the same name as his late son.

Bishop Eusebio Phelps ordered an All-Star breakfast special from a Stockbridge location of the diner chain last week, and was struck by server Hannah Hill's kindness, Fox 5 reports.

"She was so nice over the telephone, and when I got there I paid for my food and I told her to keep the change," Phelps told WXIA-TV. "And then when I looked at her, I asked if she was pregnant - she said yes so at that time I was just really urged to give her the rest of the money that I had in my wallet, which was around $40. And so I gave her the $40 and I told her that I just wanted to be able to bless her so she could buy something for the baby."

With just a few weeks to go until her due date, Hill revealed that she planned to name her unborn son Samuel.

Phelps, the leader of New Faith Christian Church, felt that it was a divine sign. His son Samuel died in Atlanta seven years ago, and the anniversary is coming up soon.

"We are so appreciative of the kind gesture made by Bishop Phelps and all of the others who contributed on behalf of our Associate, Hannah Hill," a rep for Waffle House told Fox News.

"I went home, I told my wife what happened . . . I was like, 'Listen I wanna raise a thousand dollars to give to Hannah so she can buy whatever she needs for the baby,'" the pastor told the outlet.

Moved, Phelps shared Hill's story on Facebook. Within about a day, supporters raised over $12,000, per WXIA.

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
