FIVE STORIES PRESIDENT TRUMP DOESN'T WANT YOU TO MISS
1. Israel-UAE Agreement Shows Trump's Middle East Policy Succeeding - Fox News
"Thursday's announcement of a 'historic peace agreement' between Israel and the United Arab Emirates-the first deal to normalize relations between Israel and an Arab nation brokered by the U.S. in over a quarter-century-is more evidence that President Trump is the first president in a long time to get U.S. Middle East policy more right than wrong," writes James Jay Carafano, a foreign policy expert at the Heritage Foundation.(Read more)
2. Governors Can't Use Coronavirus to Indefinitely Declare a State of Emergency -The Federalist
"In a moment of national panic, Americans permitted their state and local executives to take power-to declare states of emergency and to implement lockdowns-and now those executives won't give that power back," Molly McCann writes. "Our current quandary is that governors are using COVID as an excuse to extend their authority indefinitely." (Read more)
3. Trump Is Giving Schools Tools to Reopen, and They Must Do So for Children's Sake - Washington Examiner
"For our children's sake, we must reopen schools for in-person learning. President Trump's new 'Kids First' plan will help enable school districts to do just that," Kevin Roberts writes. Leading voices, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, "are coming together in agreement: These indefinite school closures are hurting our children." (Read more)
4. It's Time to Hire American - RealClearPolicy
"President Trump recently suspended the entry of some guest workers into the United States. And he ordered federal officials to stop issuing green cards for the rest of the year, with limited exceptions. These are bold first steps towards halting the massive, harmful influx of foreign labor into the United States"-especially important to get more Americans back to work as we reopen from the pandemic, Marie Larson writes. 5. Now There's No Denying It: Obama's FBI Spied On Trump . . . Period - Townhall
News broke today that former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith is expected to plead guilty to falsifying documents as part of the FBI's surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016. "If you are conducting surveillance that is not authorized and, in fact, you lied to get the authorization . . . You are spying," Larry O'Connor writes. (Read more)

1. Israel's Netanyahu Tells Abu Dhabi-Based TV Channel That Deal With UAE Will 'Lead to Peace With the Palestinians' - Algemeiner
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Sky News Arabia on Monday that the normalization accord reached last week with the United Arab Emirates would "ultimately lead to peace with the Palestinians."
In his interview with the Abu Dhabi-based media outlet, the Israeli leader added that he believed other Arab countries will quickly follow the UAE's lead.
"More Arab countries will look at what we are doing and say, maybe we should join this circle of innovation, technology and prosperity," he predicted.
Netanyahu also said unequivocally that he had agreed to suspend plans to annex parts of the West Bank, due to an American "demand" to do so
2. Mossad chief lands back in Abu Dhabi for talks on normalization - Times of Israel
Mossad Director Yossi Cohen landed in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, in the first high-profile visit by an Israeli official since the announcement of a deal to normalize ties between the two countries.
Cohen, who has been credited with a prominent role in the negotiations on the agreement that will see Israel and the UAE forge diplomatic ties, was in Abu Dhabi for additional talks on the normalization deal.
A larger Israeli delegation is expected in Abu Dhabi later this week.
It was initially reported last week that Cohen would head the delegation to formalize the agreement. However, it is currently unclear who will lead the talks, amid reports of internal disputes in Israel that could see the departure of the delegation delayed.
3. 'There is no reason for continued hostility': Will Sudan be next to normalize ties with Israel? - Israel Hayom
Sudan on Monday expressed a desire to normalize ties with Israel, with Khartoum sending the Jewish state a message of reconciliation suggesting that it is ready to follow in the United Arab Emirates' footsteps.
Sudan "looks forward to a peace agreement with Israel," Sudanese Foreign Ministry spokesman Haidar Badawi al-Sadiq told Sky News Arabia.
"There is no reason for the continuation of hostility between Sudan and Israel. We do not deny the existence of contacts between the two countries," he said, adding that a peace treaty between Khartoum and Jerusalem would benefit both.
4. In Formal Complaint, Israel Presents Intelligence to UN Security Council, Proving Hezbollah Infiltrated into Israel - Jewish Press
Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, sent an official letter of complaint on Monday to the members of the Security Council containing intelligence material proving that Hezbollah terrorists infiltrated into Israel several weeks ago.
The attached photo (published for the first time) showed the evidence of the terrorist cell's route from Lebanon to the Mount Dov area in Israel via the Blue Line - contrary to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's false claims that no such infiltration took place.
"Hezbollah's terrorist operations, which violate Security Council resolutions, could lead to disaster and wreak havoc on Lebanon," Ambassador Erdan pointed out.
"The role of the UNIFIL force is to prevent these operations and to prevent Hezbollah from turning southern Lebanon into its own terrorist base. If UNIFIL is unable to fulfill this mission, then its existence should be in doubt."
5. First ever deployment of Israeli fighter jets in Germany - Israel National News
On Tuesday, Lieutenant-Colonel E. of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) directed the IDF's first ever exercise on German soil involving Israeli fighter planes. A formation of fighter aircraft, including IAF F-16 jets and Eurofighter jets from the German Luftwaffe, conducted a flyover above the site of the Nazi concentration camp of Dachau, where over 40 thousand Jews were killed during the Holocaust. Following will be two weeks of joint aerial maneuvers.
Lieutenant-Colonel E stated: "This deployment is of tremendous significance, as it is the first time ever that Israeli fighter planes are being deployed in Germany. We come here with a very clear message - that we have the duty to recall and commemorate the dark hours of the past, and also, that we have a special responsibility to shape the future and make the world a safer place via our aerial diplomacy."
The flyover was followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at Dachau, AFP reports, attended by IAF Commander Amikam Norkin and his German counterpart Ingo Gerhartz, as well as German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer and the Israeli ambassador to Germany, Jeremy Issacharoff. Luftwaffe chief Gerhartz noted that the joint exercise was "a sign of our friendship today."
6. The Real Deal for Israel and the UAE Is Weapons- Haaretz
The Emirates spend billions of dollars a year on arms procurement. Now Israel stands to get in on the action.
On WhatsApp group chats this weekend, more than a few Israelis were already talking about family vacations in the United Arab Emirates, after Israel and the federation of seven emirates announced the normalization of relations Thursday. "Will the next family reunion be in Dubai? "Has Dad already made reservations?" "What floor are our rooms on in the Burj Khalifa?" "Do you have to wear a burka?"
The excitement at the prospect of flying to Dubai, staying at a hotel in the world's tallest building and shopping at megamalls is understandable. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Thursday about travel and tourism. But the area where Israel stands to most to gain economically from ties with the UAE is defense and cybersecurity.
The UAE's annual defense budget is estimated to be about $23 billion and growing, with about $20 billion of that going to arms procurement in the United States.
Just hours after normalization, sources in the Israel defense industry were talking about how the UAE has the potential to offset the loss of sales locally due to the terms of the current U.S. aid agreement. They said the emirates are an ideal partner, with deep pockets and an authoritarian regime that can make quick decisions on arms purchases.

1. CNN Poll: Trump, Biden Tied in 15 Battleground States - Newsmax
The race between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden is tightening, with a new poll showing a 4-point difference between them and a virtual tie in 15 battleground states.
Results from the latest CNN poll:
* 50% of registered voters support Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif. 46% support Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. In June, 55% supported Biden and 41% backed Trump.
* In 15 battleground states, Biden has 49% support and Trump has 48% support. That 1-point difference falls within the margin of error.
* 56% of men support Trump and 40% back Biden. In June, those numbers were about even.
* Independents are mostly split, with 46% supporting Biden and 45% backing Trump.
The battleground states included in the poll were Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Biden and Harris will be officially nominated as the Democratic Party's nominees this week at the Democratic National Convention. (Read more)
- Father, we thank you for standing with our President, whom You've placed in office. May this election be just as much a mystery to "those who know" as the last one was. Bless our President, our nation, culture, and Constitution which guarantees us certain enumerated freedoms, including worship, speech and liberty. We ask you to stand in the way of the enemy's schemes and release Your goodness and light on this coming election.
- "So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation. And he laid his hands on him and inaugurated him, just as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses."

2. Obama Seriously Doubts Biden Can Win - Newsmax
Former President Barack Obama has privately raised concerns over the ability of Joe Biden to beat President Donald Trump on Election Day, Politico reports.
Obama has raised doubts over Biden's chances to other Democrats.
According to Politico, Obama told one Democrat during the primary campaign, "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f--- things up."
Even though Obama made a public announcement supporting his former vice president, privately, his sentiment is different. Politico reports the former president is worried that Biden doesn't have a strong connection with the electorate.
"And you know who really doesn't have it? Joe Biden," Obama told another Democrat candidate during the party's primary, according to Politico. Obama was referencing Biden's lack of intimacy with the Iowa electorate. Biden aides say Obama didn't do as much to help Biden as he did to help Hillary Clinton in 2016. (Read more)
- It's obvious that even those in Mr. Biden's party doubt his ability to win over the electorate and even perform the duties of the presidency. Lord, we pray that he will find that place that You have assigned for him at this time in his life by turning his life completely over to You and thus deliver this country from someone who is not anointed by You for this vitally important position at this time in history. Thank You, Father, for Your help in this matter.
- "Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;" (Ephesians 6:6)
3. Fauci Just Proved Trump Is Right About Mail-In Voting, Dems Will Lose Their Minds - Western Journalism
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has said safe in-person voting is possible, as long as proper precautions are taken. Fauci spoke with ABC News Correspondent Deborah Roberts for "Stopping Pandemics," an exclusive National Geographic event that aired on Wednesday.
"I think if carefully done, according to the guidelines, there's no reason that I can see why that not be the case," Fauci said.
"For example, when you look at going to a grocery store now in many regions and counties and cities that are doing it correctly, they have 'X's every six or more feet. And it says, Don't leave this spot until the person in front of you left their spot. And you can do that, if you go and wear a mask, if you observe the physical distancing, and don't have a crowded situation, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that."(Read more)
- Lord, we are looking to You, trusting and believing that this virus situation will be under Your feet in the coming period of time and no further virus will be released in Jesus name! We bless our President for standing firm for righteousness and thank You that Anthony Fauci has put forward an agreement in support of our President.
- "It may be that they will present their supplication before the Lord, and everyone will turn from his evil way. . . " (Jeremiah 36:7a)
4. Republican Candidate's 'All Black Lives Matter' Ad Goes Massively Viral - Western Journalism
A Republican congressional candidate posted a campaign ad Monday that went viral after she showed parts of the city of Baltimore that she said Democrats would prefer not to be shown.
Kimberly Klacik, who is challenging incumbent Democrat Kweisi Mfume in Maryland's 7th Congressional District, uploaded a campaign ad on Twitter in which she tours dilapidated neighborhoods in the city. "Democrats don't want you to see this," she wrote alongside the video.
The video shows Klacik strolling through some of the city's high crime areas, where she says the murder rate is 10 times the U.S. average and the poverty rate is over 20 percent.
"They're scared that I'm exposing what life is like in Democrat run cities. That's why I'm running for Congress," Klacik said.
"Because All Black Lives Matter. Baltimore Matters. And black people don't have to vote Democrat. Help us win." (Read more)
- God bless Kimberly Klacik! Thank you that she is a truth-teller, courageous and willing to actually seek the best for the poor in Baltimore. May the light go on in voters' minds as they see Kimberly's ads, and finally realize that the poor have been dazzled by the Democrats' rhetoric and used for selfish political gain time and time again. May the truth open eyes across our nation, in every city. Use Ms. Klacik mightily for Your good purposes, Lord.
- The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God. (Isaiah 61:1,2a)
5. Parents say schools have reported them to child services for neglect if their kids miss online class - The Blaze
Some parents in Massachusetts told the Boston Globe they were reported to the state's Department of Children and Families for neglect when their children were absent from remote learning sessions too often in the spring, when they were scrambling to adjust to the new realities of COVID-19.
When schools around the country closed in March and April, parents were forced to figure out a way to facilitate and assist with online learning for their children while working or taking care of other responsibilities. The schools, in many cases, failed to provide a well-coordinated learning plan for the lockdowns.
Still, dozens of parents interviewed by the Globe say schools reported them for potential neglect because of absences, without regard for the obvious difficulties of the situation. If charges of neglect are upheld by DCF, parents could be at risk of having their children removed from their homes. In most of the cases cited by the Globe, DCF rather quickly found no signs of neglect after review. (Read more)
- Dear Lord, we come against the overreaching and controlling spirit that has emerged from struggles to handle academic life in the midst of a pandemic. We ask that You would guide each student and each parent into the path that is best for the individual so that Your purposes are accomplished in their lives. Where there is actual truancy, Lord, give Your kind of guidance for the problems. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
- "False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not."
(Psalms 5:11)
6. Man who murdered two moms in 1977 is being freed - and it's Cuomo's fault- New York Post
The New York state parole board is the latest institution to fall to the left's war against law and order. Last month, the board astonishingly granted parole to a homicidal gang rapist who was the ringleader in one of the most sadistic crimes in New York history.
Sam Ayala was 26 when he committed a Westchester home invasion with two pals in 1977, brutalizing two moms, Bonnie Minter and Sheila Watson, in the presence of their four small children, before shooting them a dozen times and laughing about it.
Yet the parole board, in its wisdom, has granted Ayala his freedom from Sept. 3. It is what Gov. Cuomo designed it to do. Of 16 members of the parole board, all but two are his appointments. Five were appointed in December and four in 2017.
The board refresh followed a concerted campaign by criminal justice reform activists, amplified in the pages of The New York Times, alleging discrimination against minorities and a bias toward punishment rather than rehabilitation.(Read more)
- Jesus--we ask You to intervene on these evil-doers and bring them to their knees in repentance or remove from them opportunities to commit more crimes. May the citizens of New York rise up en masse and summarily oust these wicked ones seeking to destroy New York and this nation in order to control and dominate through tyranny.
- " For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, . . . " (Hebrews 2:2)
7. Trump Approves Emergency Declaration for Iowa After Storm Damage - Bloomberg
President Donald Trump said he approved an emergency declaration for Iowa after a powerful storm swept through parts of the state last week, flattening crops and knocking out power for days. Trump, speaking Monday as he left the White House to travel to Minnesota and Wisconsin, said he had approved the declaration and may make visit the state.
Vice President Mike Pence visited Iowa on Thursday, days after one of the most powerful weather events in state history -- a "derecho" packing 100 mile-per-hour winds -- left three people dead and scores injured, and cut power to hundreds of thousands of residents and businesses.
Some 3.57 million acres of Iowa corn and 2.5 million acres of soybeans took the brunt of derecho, according to Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig. (Read more)
- Abba Father, thank you that Iowans affected by the Derecho last week will receive emergency aid. May it be dispensed fairly and in a timely fashion. Comfort families in mourning, heal injuries, and give wisdom to farmers and other residents, as they seek to repair the damage. Bless those who come to help. Heal shock and trauma, especially reassure and comfort children and the elderly. Lord, we ask that you bring good out of this situation; glorify Your name.
- "But as for me, I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay." (Psalm 40:17)
8. Trump: Susan B. Anthony to get posthumous pardon - Fox News
President Trump announced Tuesday morning he will give a posthumous pardon to Susan B. Anthony, one of history's biggest figures in the women's suffrage movement.
The announcement came 100 years to the day after the 1920 ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
Anthony, a strong anti-slavery pioneer who died in 1906, had been arrested in 1872 for violating laws that had permitted only men to vote in the presidential election.
She was then indicted, tried and convicted for voting illegally and sentenced to pay a fine of $100 and court costs.
The historic New Yorker described her two-day trial in June 1873 as "the greatest judicial outrage history has ever recorded," according to The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration. (Read more)
- Lord, we thank You that now all legitimate adult citizens (excluding convicted felons) may vote in our nation, male and female. Thank you for Susan B. Anthony's courage and perseverance to help secure the vote for women. We thank you also that President Trump has seen fit to pardon her at this 100 th anniversary of the 19 th Amendment ratification. Thank You especially, Father, that all who receive Jesus also receive Your full pardon!
- "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28)
9. China Warns of "Imminent War" Against the U.S. - Breaking Israel News
As US aircraft carriers sail the South China Sea, many Chinese military analysts are warning that a military confrontation is inevitable. Rabbi Pinchas Winston, an end-of-days expert, notes that, as prophecy states, a military confrontation is inevitable and China, though not explicitly named in the Bible as the aggressor, has a clear role to play as the nemesis of Israel.
Correspondent Yu Zeyuan reported in Think China on a recent scholarly article by Chinese military academic Wang Yunfei. The article warned that "right now, it looks very likely that the Trump administration may make an unexpected move and suddenly decide to initiate a military conflict with China in the South China Sea by November."
With two US aircraft carriers loitering in the Indo-Pacific, bombers stationed in Guam, and surveillance planes conducting frequent runs around China, the intention of the US is no longer a show of strength through training, but more of preparing for battle,"(Read more)
- Holy One -- we commit our times and seasons into Your righteous hands. We set our President before You asking that he follows Your plans and directions for this nation, world and season. Thank you Abba for our President sees the long picture and so prepares appropriately, and we ask that You hold his hand from war until the time You permit it to happen. In Jesus name.
- "Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field, The work of righteousness will be peace, . . . " (Isaiah 32:16-17a)
10. DNI: China Poses Greatest National Security Threat to the US - Newsmax
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told Fox News on Monday that "China poses a greater national security threat to the U.S. than any other nation," warning about the country's meddling in the upcoming election.
"China poses a greater national security threat to the U.S. than any other nation - economically, militarily and technologically. That includes threats of election influence and interference," Ratcliffe said in a statement.
Ratcliffe said that "China is concerned that President [Donald] Trump's reelection would lead to a continuation of policies that they perceive to be 'anti-China,'" and that "hundreds of members of Congress" have received briefings about "its increased efforts to impact the U.S. policy climate in its favor." (Read more)
- Thank You, Lord, for the many revelations that have come out about the danger that China poses to the US. Lord, we ask that You would give our leaders divine revelations about every nefarious activity that China is engaged in, especially regarding the upcoming elections. We seal off the elections from evil influences and lay an ax to the root of voter fraud in our country. Amen.
- "When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence." (Psalms 9:3)

Couldn't watch it
'Couldn't bring myself to watch the virtual Democratic National Party convention last night. 'Won't watch it again tonight. I knew already what it was about: negativity and insults. The former first lady takes the camera and repeats her same old hypocritical mantra from the last campaign: "Going high is the only thing that works. Because when we go low, when we use those same tactics of degrading and dehumanizing others, we just become part of the ugly noise that's drowning out everything else." Then she blistered the current president and Americans using examples we have seen from her own party's actions. Does she think no one sees that she is claiming the high ground, but is dehumanizing others in the process?
Deadline.com pretty much summed up the evening: With a constant chorus decrying Donald Trump's corruption and incompetence in this era of racial divide, the fatal coronavirus crisis, and consequential economic collapse, the Biden team put their focus grouped playbook into practice tonight. If there was one noticeably out of tune note tonight, it was from Biden himself. In a moment seemingly directed to Trump's hardcore base, who will never vote for him anyway, the ex-Veep took a middle ground on police brutality and systemic racism that many of his own supporters and many Americans have abandoned in recent months."
The one thing that stands out is how the democrats are attacking the President for the economy. Michele O said that the economy is in a shambles because of the poor handling of COVID 19. In reality, the President handled/is handling the COVID 19 crisis without the help of all those "smart" democrats that bring all the criticism, but absolutely no solutions. And every time the President wants to open up the country for business, it is democrat congressmen, governors, and mayors who fight any kind of reopening. My sources say that these democrats are intentionally trying to hold the economy down until after the election because they think Americans will vote Trump out of office if the economy is bad enough.
What I see in the Democratic Convention reports is just a continuation of the badmouthing that we have seen since before Trump took office. They just run people down and present no viable solutions. Sad that they cannot look at America, the challenges, and be professional about offering alternatives. A whole lot of negative rhetoric going on. This is their idea of taking the high road because those Republicans will take the low road. They accuse others of what they themselves do. As Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1:9, "That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun."

Prayer Against Coronavirus
Prayer against Coronavirus
(from Doug Addison / Aslan's Place)
THE PRAYER:
Lord we ask You to bind the Snake of Deception, the Viper of the Religious Spirit and the Venomous Serpent of the Coronavirus. We ask you Lord to break its global unholy alliance to stop the global outpouring of revival. Lord, we ask you to cast out the attack of the Snake of Deception, the Viper of the Religious Spirit and the Venomous Serpent of the Coronavirus, in Jesus Name.
We decree Psalm 91:7 - "A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you."
Background: On February 25 the Lord showed Doug Addison the root of the Coronavirus and how to break it. I am reaching out to ministries to come into agreement to break this attack. Can you get intercessors praying over this please?
The root is a 3 stranded cord attack against revival. Isaiah 14:29: "Do not rejoice, all you Philistines, that the rod that struck you is broken; from the root of that snake will spring up a viper, its fruit will be a darting, venomous serpent."
This 3 stranded cord global attack of the Coronravirus is against the global outpouring that the Lord is bringing. The 3 stranded cord consists of:
- the Snake of Deception;
- the Viper 'Religious Spirit' (Jesus called the Pharisees a brood of Vipers); and
- the Venomous Serpent that is the virus.
The above prayer is how to break it.
- Father God, we thank You for this revelation that has been given to Doug Addison. Taking up the Sword of the Spirit, we lay axe to the root of these three named spirits, according to Matthew 3:10.
We then sever them away from each other, (Psalm 129:4) that they will no longer strengthen each other, but will instead shrivel up and die, in Your name, amen.
- "The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." (Matthew 3:10)
- "The Lord is righteous; He has cut in two the cords of the wicked." (Psalm 129:4)

IN THE GARDEN
"Thinking He was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him."" (John 20:15)
Lyrics
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
Refrain
I'd stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

About the Author:
Words and Melody: Austin Miles, 1912
About the Hymn:
I read . . . the story of the greatest morn in history: "The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, while it was yet very dark, unto the sepulcher." Instantly, completely, there unfolded in my mind the scenes of the garden of Joseph . . .
Out of the mists of the garden comes a form, halting, hesitating, tearful, seeking, turning from side to side in bewildering amazement. Falteringly, bearing grief in every accent, with tear-dimmed eyes, she whispers, "If thou hast borne him hence" --
"He speaks, and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing." Jesus said to her, "Mary!" Just one word from his lips, and forgotten the heartaches, the long dreary hours. . . all the past blotted out in the presence of the Living Present and the Eternal Future.

Genevieve forecast to become major hurricane off coast of Mexico
Meteorologists expect Genevieve to become the Eastern Pacific's next major hurricane following Douglas, and the storm could be the most powerful of the season thus far as it brushes the southwest coast of Mexico.
After a brief pause, the East Pacific Ocean Basin began to see more tropical activity in the last week. Tropical Depression 10-E came to life on Monday, before dissipating on Sunday evening.
Tropical Depression 12-E emerged in the warm waters just off the coast of El Salvador and Nicaragua on Sunday morning. By Sunday evening, it had been upgraded to Tropical Storm Genevieve. On Monday morning, Genevieve had strengthened to a hurricane.
Genevieve has the potential to reach Category 4 strength with sustained winds of 130-156 mph. A major hurricane, or Category 3 storm, has winds of 111 to 129 mph.
"Current information suggests the tropical cyclone will undergo rapid intensification and become a major Category 4 hurricane Tuesday night or Wednesday morning," AccuWeather's top hurricane expert Dan Kottlowski said.

'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson Is Baptizing Fans:
'They Just Keep Coming'
They're coming from that podcast . . . about nine or maybe 10 in the last three days-they've come all the way down here, and I've baptized that whole little crew . . ." - Phil Robertson
Phil Robertson hasn't slowed down since the family's hit show "Duck Dynasty" went off-the-air in 2017, with the reality TV star hosting a popular podcast called "Unashamed," a TV show titled, "In the Woods" and penning books like "Jesus Politics: How to Win Back the Soul of America."
But despite continued success and all that comes along with it, Robertson, 74, hasn't moved away from his first priority: helping others find faith.
"All we're doing is we're reaching out to our neighbor, and we're telling them to love their God, repent and turn to God, walk like Jesus did," Robertson told the "Edifi With Billy Hallowell" podcast. "Love God and love your neighbor . . . I do not see the downside to that."
And the impact of Robertson's work is quite stunning, as he said his "Unashamed" podcast has encouraged groups of people to visit his small town of West Monroe, Louisiana, to be baptized.
"They're coming from that podcast . . . about nine or maybe 10 in the last three days - they've come all the way down here," he said. "And I've baptized that whole little crew. Well, it's that way every day or two. They just keep coming."
Robertson has also taken his Christian message straight to President Donald Trump, revealing the details of a conversation he had with Trump during a private meeting before the commander-in-chief's 2016 election.
"I reached in my pocket and I pulled out a diagram of the gospel, an arrow coming down out of heaven - God becoming flesh - the cross, the tomb, and an arrow coming out of the tomb and the last arrow coming back down to earth," Robertson said. "I said, 'Whatever happens, Trump, don't miss this." Trump, who seemed genuinely interested, asked, "What is this?" And that's when Robertson dove into the Bible's message about Jesus and salvation, telling Trump, "He died for Donald Trump's sins." Robertson noted that Trump asked if he could keep the gospel diagram, to which Robertson obviously said "yes." And that wasn't the last time the two spoke, as Robertson said he later gave Trump some Bible verses and spoke more about the power of scripture.
Robertson, who also spoke about the current state of affairs, offered up a warning about contemporary culture: "We're at a tipping point and the forces of evil are going up against the forces of good."

About CHPP
About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners
Our Mission Statement
Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].
Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
