Focus on Israel
1. Alert level raised at Israeli embassies - Israel National News
Israel over the weekend stepped up its alert in all of its missions around the world for fear of Iranian reprisals for the assassination of Iranian nuclear program chief Muhsin Fahrizadeh.
In addition, the level of preparedness was also raised in Jewish communities around the world.
According to reports in Iran, Fahrizadeh was driving with bodyguards on the main road in Absard. State media reported a booby-trapped van in which explosives were buried hidden among the trees that exploded as Fahrizadeh's vehicle passed.
After the blast, it was further reported, a group of five or six gunmen got out of another vehicle parked on the side of the road, and opened fire at the Iranian scientist’s vehicle.

2. Nuke chief’s death said to be ‘pinnacle’ of Israeli strategy to thwart Iran bomb - Times of Israel
The assassination of Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons mastermind Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was the highpoint of a lengthy Israeli strategic plan to sabotage Iran’s nuclear program, and deprives the Islamic Republic of an irreplaceable source of knowledge, Israeli television reported Saturday.
An unnamed Western intelligence source told Channel 12 the killing of the nuclear physicist, described in the past as the “father” of Iran’s project to develop nuclear weapons, was the “pinnacle” of Israel’s long-term plans.
Channel 13 reported that Fakhrizadeh had been a target of several Israeli prime ministers as well as several recent directors of the Mossad spy agency.
Fakhrizadeh died in a bombing and shooting attack outside Tehran Friday.

3. Israel fears Iranian attack on Israeli tourists in UAE - Israel National News
There are concerns in Israel Sunday for the safety of Israelis visiting the United Arab Emirates, days after a top Iranian nuclear scientist was killed in an assassination Iran has blamed on Israel.
Israel’s National Security Council issued a travel advisory for the UAE several weeks ago, but fears mounted on Sunday, after Iran vowed to avenge the death of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a scientist dubbed "the father of the Iranian bomb" who was killed on Friday outside of Tehran.
According to the NSC’s anti-terror division, there are serious concerns Iran could target Israeli tourists in the UAE in response to Fakhrizadeh’s assassination.

4. Israel announces ‘green passports’ for Covid-19 recoverees; Pandemic expected ‘for at least another year’ - World Israel News
The head of Israel’s national coronavirus program warned the nation Thursday that despite the expected arrival of millions of doses of vaccine, the pandemic will be with the country for at least another year.
“We are vigorously preparing to lead a nationwide vaccination campaign, at the end of which I hope we can declare that the people of Israel defeated the corona,” Prof. Nachman Ash said at a Health Ministry briefing held online. “But it will take some more time.”
“We have more difficult days ahead of us,” Ash warned. “Some people think the coronavirus is already behind us. I see things differently. It’s not going to be easy, it’s not going to be short.”
“My working assumption … is that the corona will be here in the coming year. An effective vaccination of the population will be at best around mid-2021, and at worst – towards the end of next year,” Ash said.

5. Netanyahu May Reinstate Restrictions if COVID Infection Continues to Rise - Jewish Press
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Sunday that Israel cannot yet breathe free and believe the country has won free of the second wave of COVID-19. In fact, the prime minister warned that if the coronavirus infection rate continues to rise, the current easing of lockdown restrictions will be halted, and those in force will be pulled back and re-tightened.
According to Israel’s Health Ministry, the contagion rate has spiked to 3.3 percent — the highest it has been in weeks — and last week, for the first time in months, there were more than 1,000 new cases of the coronavirus diagnosed every day, for three days in a row.
“It must be understood that we are fighting a very difficult pandemic that has now claimed from us around 2,800 lives, every one of whom was a whole world, and we grieve for each and every one of them,” Netanyahu said at the start of this week’s government cabinet meeting. “We know the suffering of the families. We must do everything in order to prevent the situation from worsening, which could bring us to even harsher places, even harsher than we have known up until now.

Speaking from the White House Wednesday, President Donald Trump gave an update on what he sees as the status of the presidential race.
"This may be the most important speech I've ever made. I want to provide an update on our efforts to expose the tremendous voter fraud and irregularities which took place during the ridiculously long November 3 elections. We used to have what was called Election Day. Now we have election days, weeks, and months and lots of bad things happened during this ridiculous period of time, especially since you have to prove almost nothing to exercise our greatest privilege, the right to vote. As president, I have no higher duty than to defend the laws and the Constitution of the United States. That is why I am determined to protect our election system, which is under coordinated assault and siege," Trump said.
The constitutional process must be allowed to continue. We are going to defend the honesty of the vote by ensuring every legal ballot is counted and that no illegal ballot is counted. This is not just about honoring the votes of 74 million Americans who voted for me; it's about ensuring that Americans can have faith in this election and all future elections," he continued.

2. A.G.Barr protects Durham probe with special counsel designation - Washington Times
Attorney General William P. Barr on Tuesday announced that he elevated the attorney investigating the origins of the Russia collusion probe to a special prosecutor, ensuring that the investigation can’t easily be squashed by presumptive President-elect Joseph R. Biden. U.S. Attorney John Durham, the prosecutor leading the investigating for more than a year, now has the same powers that Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller flexed for nearly two years pursuing accusations of Russian collusion against President Trump and his campaign that have since been debunked.
In a letter to congressional leaders, Mr. Barr said he had designated Mr. Durham as a special counsel in October but waited until now to make it public. The announcement came on the heels of Mr. Barr telling the Associated Press that the Justice Department had not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, putting him on a collision course with Mr. Trump.

3. Rudy Giuliani to Appear Before Michigan House Committee for 2020 Election Presentation - Brietbart
President Donald Trump’s attorney, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, will now appear before a Michigan House committee after his attendance was previously blocked. Giuliani will attend a House Committee on Oversight hearing on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for a “presentation.”
The hearing will take place in Room 519 in the House Office Building in Lansing. Breitbart News reported on Sunday that committee chairman state Rep. Matt Hall (R) had invited Giuliani to appear before his committee, as the former mayor has done in Pennsylvania and Arizona. Hall told the Detroit News that Giuliani’s appearance was not possible “logistically.”
A source with direct knowledge of the situation told Breitbart News that Michigan House leaders would not sign off on Giuliani’s appearance.

4. Whistleblowers: Postal Service labeled Trump mail ‘Undeliverable,’ 388,000 ballots backdated, ‘disappear’ - Washington Examiner
Several whistleblowers on Tuesday cast new uncertainty on the 2020 election process, claiming up to 288,000 ballots disappeared, another 100,000 were improperly backdated, and mail promoting President Trump was junked while mail for Joe Biden was delivered.
In the most extraordinary report, a U.S. Postal Service contractor said his trailer full of 144,000-288,000 completed mail-in ballots, which he drove between New York and Pennsylvania, disappeared after he delivered it to a Lancaster, Pennsylvania, depot.
Another claimed that ballots were backdated by postal workers, and in Traverse City, Michigan, Trump campaign mail was put in bins labeled “Undeliverable Bulk Business Mail” while the same type of mail for Joe Biden was ordered to be delivered on time.

5. Justice Dept releases statement after Barr comments on election fraud allegations- DML News
The Associated Press published a report on Tuesday, on an exclusive interview with Attorney General William Barr. “There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results. And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that,” Barr reportedly said.
Hours later, according to CBS News correspondent Catherine Herridge, a DOJ spokesperson released the following statement:
“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election. That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated.
“The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”

6.Trump Team to File Lawsuit: 40,000 People Voted Twice in Nevada - Epoch Times
A lawyer for President Donald Trump’s campaign said the team is preparing to file a lawsuit soon alleging that 40,000 people voted twice in Nevada, which, if true, could potentially erase Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s lead.
Trump attorney Jesse R. Binnall, speaking to Fox Business on Dec. 2, said that they found evidence of “real voter fraud” including “thousands and thousands of instances” in Nevada that will be submitted to a court in the Silver State.
“We have instances, for instance, of 40,000-plus people who have voted twice in the election,” Binnall said. He didn’t provide a source for his claim, such as an affidavit or a whistleblower, but later said lawyers will present evidence to the court. It isn’t clear where the bulk of the alleged fraudulent ballots were cast in the state.

7. Xi Jinping Book: Use ‘Charm of Chinese Culture’ to Promote Marxism - Brietbart

8. Dominion Contractor Testifies on Fraud at Detroit Voting Center - Epoch Times
Melissa Carone, a contractor who worked with Dominion Voting System at Detroit’s TCF Center, testified at a Senate Committee hearing on Tuesday.
She says that she saw fraud all throughout her time there on the 3rd and 4th of November. Former TCF Center Worker Melissa Carone said: “What I witnessed at the TCF Center was complete fraud. The whole 27 hours I was there, there were batches of ballots being ran through the tabulating machines numerous times, being counted 8 to 10 times. I watched this with my own eyes; I was there to assist with IT. ”
Carone says the proper way to scan ballots when there’s a paper jam is to reset the count, in other words, discard the count, on the machine and rescan all of them with the jammed paper on top. But, apparently, that didn’t happen and counters rescanned ballots without resetting the count.

9.CDC Shortens Its COVID-19 Quarantine Recommendations - NPR
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revised its guidelines for people who may have been exposed to the coronavirus. Now, instead of the standard 14-day quarantine it has been recommending, the CDC says that potential exposure warrants a quarantine of 10 or seven days, depending on one's test results and symptoms.
If individuals do not develop symptoms, they need only quarantine for 10 days; if they test negative, that period can be reduced to just one week.
The revision marks a significant change from the CDC's recommendations since the start of the pandemic earlier this year. While the agency says a 14-day quarantine remains the safest option, it acknowledged this length placed difficult demands on people.

10. Trump says he’ll veto defense bill unless Section 230 is terminated - Fox News
President Trump tweeted late Tuesday that he will veto the National Defense Authorization Act unless Congress repeals Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, which critics say unfairly shields social media platforms from liability over items posted on their platforms.
These opponents have been vocal that tech behemoths like Twitter and Facebook should no longer be shielded as a neutral platform when they operate more like a publisher. The criticism seemed to reach its tipping point during the Hunter Biden scandal in the weeks prior to the presidential election.
“Section 230, which is a liability shielding gift from the U.S. to “Big Tech” (the only companies in America that have it—corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Election Integrity. Our Country can never be safe & secure if we allow it to stand,” Trump tweeted. “Therefore, if the very dangerous & unfair Section 230 is not completely terminated as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), I will be forced to unequivocally VETO the Bill when sent to the very beautiful Resolute desk. 11. Uncertainty reigns in Supreme Court during arguments on Trump census memo - Washington Examiner
Skepticism emerged Monday as the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on a case that will determine whether President Trump has the authority to exclude undocumented immigrants from population figures used to determine House apportionment and federal funding to states.
The court appeared wary of approving any broad exclusion of undocumented immigrants but wasn't ready to throw its weight behind the plaintiffs either. Several justices questioned whether New York, the ACLU, and other groups that opposed the plan had sufficient standing to bring the case before the court before it was clear how exactly states would be affected — if at all.
"Career experts at the Census Bureau confirmed with me that they still don't know even roughly how many illegal aliens they will be able to identify, let alone how their number and geographic concentration may affect apportionment," said Jeffrey Wall, the acting U.S. solicitor general.
